Wow!. One of the most versatile, nicest song switching app out there. Looks and feels very modern and snappy. Also works way better than I expected when transferring songs. So worth the upgrade cost. Thanks SongShift :) Edit: From a continued user of SongShift for the past 2-3 years, I gotta say that this app has been time and time again a lifesaver. This app has helped me so many times with incompatible devices that only use this service or smart speakers that only use that service. The thick walls these companies create is astoundingly annoying and songshift makes transitioning my music between them a breeze. They have been keeping the app regularly updated and it still stands to this day that songshift is one of my most valued apps I have on my phone because of the constant updates and bug fixes to make sure the app continues to function silky smooth even as the different versions of iOS comes out. Hats off to the team. It is rare that you’ll find developers like the ones that built songshift that know what they’re doing inside iOS. Anyway, great app. I’d love to see more apps from you guys.

Highly Functional and Zero Frustration. Absolutely Fantastic App! SongShift is exactly what an app that provides this utility should be. Incredible features with no need to pay, and a subscription is highly beneficial for those who need it. I personally never got one but can totally understand the benefits for any up-and-coming artist or audiophile, as well as friends sharing music. The streamlined interface is SO easy to use while still feeling professional and efficient. 6 Stars if possible

The devil is in the details!. Works VERY well, I can’t say it doesn’t. The UI is well put together and very easy to navigate. My only; and I mean ONLY complaint, is that sometimes the “matched” files that the app picks are incorrect matches. Only a few per each “shift” but when it is wrong, it’s way off. This could also be the fault of the music service that is receiving the transfer, the only reason I think it’s this app is because I am able to type in the same search string and the first result is the correct one. Would recommend this app over any alternatives!

Life saver. I had to transfer over 200 songs for a friend to another app and instead of it take if me hours upon end to search and find all the songs. I was able to just use this app to switch the entire playlist over in less than a minute. It’s fast effective and efficient and gets the job done speedily. Plus is has a wide range of music apps to choose from end to transfer from so your music app is more than likely to be on here. Definitely highly recommend

Solid Platform to Move Any Songs/Playlists!. From music libraries to countless other playlists and songs, if you need them transferred you need SongShift! I questioned the privacy before reviewing the privacy policy and they do not seek to collect or sell any additional information then they need to offer their services. That’s huge for me because privacy is everything online in 2023. My friend recommended the app and I couldn’t believe how smooth the process was and how well the app works! Quick, easy, and simple, and the app interface is actually appealing. Man was that lengthy to write, LOL. I don’t leave reviews other than stars in general but this app worked so well I had to show some gratitude for other users out there! Stay safe great people, God bless!

So happy!!. I downloaded this app after downloading another one with the same premise, but cost 3x the amount of this one. The fact that this app is so easy to use, free!!!!, and gives you purchase options for even more efficiency is so amazing. I’m happily surprised and would definitely recommend for anyone to transfer playlists with hundreds of songs in literal minutes. I transferred so many playlists with hundreds of songs each in less than 10 minutes. 10/10 love love love.

This app is so great. Honestly I thought this app wouldn’t work but come to find out this is going to be my go to app. I switched from pandora to apple music. I thought this would make me lose all my old music but this app helped me switch all my old music to new music to apple music. Not to mention it’s easy to use and took about 2 mins to switch a 203 song playlist. Now it’s on my new app. Overall this app i’m going to use a lot more now and I just love it. Totally recommend for music lovers.

Honestly wouldn’t recommend.. The app has WAY too many glitches to even be considered mobile friendly. I don’t trust the app enough to leave it alone while it transfers the music. I’ve had the premium for a day and I’ve experienced more problems than with the free version. Since I’ve purchased the premium, I’ve run into app resets, unfinished transfers, and unnecessary duplicates of those that did transfer. Mind you, most of the issues I just explained were issues that were said, by the owners, to disappear once you’ve purchased the premium. Not only did that not happen, things worsened. Rather quickly at that. I’m not even gonna bother with customer support I’ve seen reviews talking about how that is trash as well. I’m just glad I only spent 5 dollars. I feel sorry for those that paid more for this dysfunctional app due to the broken promises being promoted every time you open the app.

A music lifesaver. I recently switch music subscriptions and it was a pain to find all my old songs and made me wanna switch back. I googled ways for weeks, then I found a website that taught me how using this week after I was extremely close to giving up. It was so quick and I before I knew I had my music back in no time!!! It’s so easy to use and tells you whether they could find a match to the song. This app is great and gives so many options on how to transfer.

A LIFE-SAVER!. I have spent countless hours of my life creating playlists and carefully curating the library of music in my streaming service. When I wanted to switch, I feared I would need to redo all of it, which would have taken weeks. But no! This app does what it says - seamlessly transferring playlists and all of your music from one music streaming service to another. There are some occasions where you need to find a track yourself, but it does 99% of the work. Just incredible!!

200 song limit. I used this app regularly, it always matches everything and transfers everything correctly. Recently they put a limit on how many songs you could transfer or share through a playlist. You can only transfer 200 songs at a time, which isn’t really a lot if you listen to a lot of music. If you continue to go through with transferring it you have to pay a minimum of $7 to get the subscription, regardless of if you’re using it once or multiple times.

Absolute life saver!. This is my first Time i think i ever reviewed an app, this app saves you all the stress of going back and fourth with playlists regardless of platform and adding it song by song... the app is easy to use, and transfers entire playlists in minutes, i haven’t seen a transfer take more than 5 mins and i have some playlists with over 500 songs!!! The premium, atleast at the time of review, is only $5 and makes a easy to use app even easier with more accessibility. Definitely recommend especially if you have a lot of transfers to do. I couldn’t be happier and i had to share my opinion! I hope this app never changes and no this is not a paid review i stg 😂

Amazing service and even better team!. What started out as a great but buggy app has grown into so much more. I got this app thinking it would fail to do what I had wanted. This was the first app I found to actually be able to help me keep concurrent music playlist between two different apps. In the beginning it would crash every once in a while so I had rated it four stars before. The team however provide constant updates and support for this app and each new update adds another cool feature and makes it more stable. I now have absolutely no problems when I use this app and couldn’t possibly recommend this more. SongShift is amazing and I’m glad I found it!

Just what I was looking for. This app worked very well. I used the free version to test it out on one of my smaller playlist and it did what I wanted. So I had no choice but to support and buy the full version to get all the features. I would have given a 5 star rating but it did not find all my songs not sure if this was due to Apple Music not having them or just mis understanding thru the app. Also it did get mixed up on a few songs and put some other song. But overall I am very happy with the app and will continue to use.

Great for free users! But premium isn’t worth it. This app is amazing to preface, but theres some issues with it. Now heres the great things about it: For free users I have experimented with around 5 competitor apps and songshift by far has the best song limit. 200 is amazing compared to other apps, most only allowing 20-50 per shift. The level of control is amazing by allowing the user to decide where specifically the songs to go, creating new playlists and having the ability to change failed songs. Heres my issue with it though, it doesnt have a lot going for it other than it’s 200 free song shifts. It’s premium IS cheap.. 6$ a month but thats PER month. Other competitors offer the same/ BETTER services for the exact thing for 2$ as a one time fee. You pay that 2$ and it’s done. Those apps work way better (with premium) than this one. Not to mention this app previously had NO limit for songs when shifting, I had shifted a 600 song playlist for free no problem and they took that away. The minute they changed it to 200 I almost swapped. So if they keep lowering that then this app literally has nothing appealing. It’s only appeal honestly is it’s free version of the app, because it is outweighed by literally every competitor. TLDR: If you want a good app to shift some playlists and don’t wanna spend money, then this is the app. But if you’re willing to fork over like 3-5 bucks then PLEASE Invest in something else

Recommended. I’ll be completely honest when I say this was the best and easiest app to use to switch all my playlists. I have wayyyyy to many but to my surprise it only took about 10 minutes to transfer around 23 playlist with each of them having no less that 30 songs each. It’s quick and effective and out of the ~690 songs I transferred- only 2 of those where missing. TWO!!! That’s amazing

Useless app, nonexistent customer support. Absolutely terrible. I paid for a premium subscription and despite the app saying my playlists transferred, they did not and I ran into many errors along the way. I submitted multiple support tickets within the app over a week ago and still have not gotten any replies. I emailed support about a week ago as well and have not received any reply either. Waste of money. Update, over a week later: developer replied to my review, telling me to continue to message support in the app. Support finally did reply after developer saw my review, so I responded. Again — zero response back. It’s absolutely ridiculous I didn’t get a support reply until I left a bad review, and now I have repeatedly asked them for a refund and they’ve gone ghost again.

Should be an Editor’s Choice. After downloading this app, you’ll legitimately never have to worry about losing playlists, transferring playlists, etc. No longer will you have to stay with a streaming service because you don’t want to lose your collections since SongShift has you covered tenfold & then some. I rarely ever leave reviews but this app is flawless. I highly recommend this to any & all who have accounts with multiple streaming platforms & either want to cut some out to save money or if you simply want duplicate playlists on each provider. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Worth the lifetime sub!. You know that one cool friend of yours that makes amazing playlists? Song Shift is a smooth and easy way to get those playlists onto your preferred music service instead of you having to subscribe to the same service your friend uses. A+ app, easy to use, and probably 95 percent accuracy in matching. I bought the lifetime subscription and it’s been well worth the money.

Perfect Really. I only use the free features and would still give it 5 stars. It doesn’t lock any of the essential basic functions behind a paywall as many apps do. It also doesn’t (at least for me) ask for you to rate the app every time you open it, which led me to write this entire review today. Realizing how much I’ve used this app over a year or two, for free, I may purchase the annual subscription or the lifetime version of SongShift Pro.

Clutchest app I own. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this app perfectly embodies what it means to be a perfectly efficient and effective app. There are no adds, no annoying extra information and it completely serves its purpose of absolutely feeding me playlists. I am one of few friends that has Apple Music and I dare say this app saved my my aux capabilities from the brink of death. This app is quick, easy, and has allowed me to ABSOLUTELY RAVAGE other peoples playlists and make them my own. I look forward to stealing more playlists in the future with this app. 10/10 I would pay any amount of money for it but the fact that it is free almost brings a tear to my eye. The amount of songs that are matched that don’t transfer is too high. I downloaded the app recently and I have tried it three times but two of the times I tried the same playlist because of the three playlists I had one with 8 songs that couldn’t be matched out of the 200 maximum leaving 192 to be transferred but after transferring the playlist over it had 132 which is a 30% failure rate. The playlist that I tried twice at first had 15 songs that couldn’t be matched leaving 185 songs to be transferred but after transferring the playlist it only had 35 songs which is around a 75% failure rate. And the second time I tried there 182 songs that couldn’t be matched (probably because this time I didn’t try to manually match any of the songs without matches) but again after transferring it only added 30 songs to the playlist which is around a 76% failure rate. This needs to be looked into because it should transfer all of the matched songs to wherever you are transferring them.

DOWNLOAD THIS APP. This app makes it a breeze to switch playlists from one app to the other. It’s very easy to figure out and barley takes any time to make the switch. Make sure to go in and see if the app has switched all of your songs, the only flaw is that sometimes it finds the wrong version of songs, but changing one is better than changing all of them. Download this app to make the BEST out of switching music apps 🤩😁

Great app, annoying feature however.. This app is great and it transfers songs amazingly, no problems, however there is a issue I have with the app which is the fact that when transferring playlists that have over 200+ songs, song shift will only transfer the first 200. Why not choose which 200 songs to transfer instead of the first 200 ? Let me put you through this scenario: let’s just say you have 500 songs in a playlist and u want to switch music apps, great !, you download song shift, and you choose what playlist you want to transfer however it only transfers the first 200. No big deal 🤷‍♂️ til you realize it only transfers the first 200 and now you have to go through the hassle of adding the 300 songs into the app that you transferred the first 200 songs from the 500 song playlist that couldn’t transfer because of this restriction, one by one. Wouldn’t it be easier if after you transfer the first 200 songs into the new playlist, that you could go back to song shift and choose the next 200 songs you want to transfer ? If so, please 🙏 try to make this a new feature in the next update.

All tracks failed, unless I want to pay. First playlist I tried to bring from one service to another, every one of the tracks failed to import despite me being able to find tracks in the destination system. I could use the search/rematch functions to assist the app, but I’d have to pay for the pleasure of doing the work the app is supposed to provide. Reached out for assistance and have received silence. This app probably has potential, but I am sadly disappointed in that I’ll never find out. $5 isn’t a lot to pay for an app, but if the core functionality doesn’t work in the free version, I feel like this is a bait and switch.

App works fine, BUT FAMILY SHARING IS NOT AVAILABLE EVEN IF YOU PAY. I purchased the Lifetime license which to this day still says “with Family Sharing,” but I found a tweet from 2019 where they admit that this functionality is not available, and they’d update the App Store to reflect that. They haven’t, and that should tell you something. I submitted a help ticket 4 days ago asking if maybe I’m missing something or if it’s still not able to be shared with my iTunes family, and no response. This app works fine. No better or worse than any of its competitors. But DO NOT buy this if you want to share Pro access with your family.

Delighted and surprised. First off I have to say the UI for the app is clean and very smooth to use and I’m surprised I’m even writing this since I never write reviews. The app is very good at connecting me to the music services that I wanted to transfer music from and I would say I’m so happy an app was finally designed for this purpose. Truly a need when music sharing and music is a ubiquitous part of life and music sharing with friends is done so often.

A must for.... Subscribers to multiple music services. Effortless music transfer, auto-update, track-by-track verification... For a free download, the app has a decent set of features—the main downside is the invasive ads. Upgrading to PRO legitimately got me shook! Full-access to premium feats including enhanced audio matching, customizable UI, and lightening-speed exporting/uploading. For less than a latte, save time, skip the headache. PRO is the only way to go.

Easy peasy. Not sure why anyone has any problem using this app outside ineptitude because I transferred everything in around 10min no hassle. Interface is intuitive and the transfers have been darn near perfect. Developers you could easily give 5 free playlist transfers (so users know it is a solid app) and then some meager charge for x amount of playlist more because I would have paid. Don’t see a need for monthly or one time as I can’t justify $40 for a few uses. Great job on the app though and thank you!

Great App. In simplest terms this app is amazing. Its user friendly and simple. When trying to switch music providers my biggest issue was my playlist. With this tool I can easily transfer all my playlist with the click of a button. In addition it’s nice to see a well designed app that doesn’t force you to pay a subscription in 2024. While some features require a premium subscription the majority of features and above all the playlist transfers are free. All in all I would highly recommend this app to someone trying to switch music providers and transfer playlists.

Works well but needs improvement. Took a couple of days & a lot of refreshing to get all my playlists to show up. Then once they did it took me two tries to get my playlist to actually transfer, but once it did it worked pretty well. A few of the songs were missing even though they’re available on both platforms. I don’t mind having to go in & add them myself bc it’s not many but it’d be nice if SongShift gave us a list of songs that did not successfully transfer so I don’t have to look through the entire playlist. The app does what it’s supposed to, it just takes some time to get it to work. Customer support was also not very helpful in their first reply to my email trying to get help & then never answered me back.

Works somtimes. The concept it really helpful and useful with the time reduction and the hassle to do all songs especially, when you have over 500 songs. A great tool but my issue is that when you transfer you have a chance of it going through and the other times it doesn't even register that it has moved or the songs haven't been transferred. For example when you try to transfer whole library, it’ll go through the whole process then say complete then nothing, nothing happens.

FALSE ADVERTISING, LIES, & FAKERY. I’ve purchased premium for this app years ago, and to this day, it is my most regretful purchase of all time. For about 2 or 3 years at least, I have NEVER, NO, NOT EVEN ONCE gotten this accursed piece of garbage software to transfer EVEN ONE playlist. I’ll delete the app, but then decide a few months later, “Hey remember that stupid scam of an app I paid like $10 for the other day & it totally didn’t work? Well let’s see if they’ve gotten better!” Every single time, my optimistic hopes are dashed, when it pulls up some error message claiming it cannot do the transfer for some cockamamie reason or another! Like I said, this absolute atrocity against humanity, sorry excuse for an app rly has me like Sisyphus, pushing that boulder up the mountain all hopeful, just for stupid songshift to come along and push it right back down to the bottom again… save yallselves some stress & find ANY other app… whatever that is has GOTTA be better than this flaming pile of human fecal matter which these criminals are attempting to pass off as an app.

DON’T CLICK PLAYLIST, CLICK SONGS. i’ve seen a lot of people in reviews saying that it took forever bc they shifted all their playlists one by one, but the easier way of doing this is actually clicking the “songs” tab instead of the “playlists” tab (shows up at bottom when choosing where to shift music) if you’re trying to transfer all your music. it takes a bit longer, but it’s only one process and you don’t have to manually shift every playlist.

Lost Access to Lifetime Subscription After New Pro Subscription Model Introduced.. I’ve purchased and had access to a Lifetime Subscription Membership for the past few years, today I intended on using the app but was locked out of the upgraded features due to the new Pro subscription model. I’ve tried to access my previous lifetime subscription purchase on multiple devices, tried the restore purchase option on all of my devices, and still no device. This is unacceptable. I’m now locked out of my purchase due to this new subscription model being introduced and now I have to pay an extra $60 for a second “lifetime” subscription where I may lost access AGAIN in the future?

Looked great but a waste of time. I found this app and it looked really promising. I began the process of transferring my first playlist to test it out the playlist name transferred but none of the songs did. I the. Decided this might be a one time issues and then decided to transfer all 3000 of my songs which took a while and non of them transferred again Edit: I came back to it an hour later the 3000 songs transferred but the much smaller playlist of 200 songs did not trying again might fix the issue

Outstanding Service. After having used the free version for a few months to see if this app was worth shelling out for a lifetime subscription and the answer is a resounding yes, especially since I have playlists strewn all over the internet. This service tidied all of that up for me and now all of my music services are automatically synced up no matter which service I am using. Worth every cent of the lifetime membership, I cannot recommend this service enough!

Mostly Good. I've had this app for a couple years now and even purchased the pro version, and it's pretty useful for the most part. The developers definitely have some work to do in terms of bugs, however. I've been forced to restart shifts a number of times because they fail or get stuck in the process. Most recently (and the reason I'm writing this) a shift I update daily with around 500 songs was "processing" for over a day and rendered the rest of the app unusable. I ended up having to reinstall the app which erased all my other shifts so I'm pretty bummed about that.

Great when it works, frustrating when it doesn't. When it works it does what it says. It can't seem to recover from crashes though. You have to delete and reinstall the app losing all the "shifts" that were previously done. That makes it currently dang near impossible to use for syncing. It might completely choke on a Playlist one run and not the next with no indication to the user as to why. If you have patience it's OK. If not you may end up frustrated. Five stars if the developer can fix the crashing, add some kind of crash recovery, and/or backup of "shifted" Playlist.

Do Not Buy This App. Not worth the $5, don’t purchase this app. I have over 500 songs I tried to transfer with this app and have only been able to transfer about a quarter of my songs to Apple Music from Deezer. Figured I would reach out to their support team since I’m a paying customer and have been completely ghosted by SongShift tech team. Received one email asking if I would share the music lists that wouldn’t transfer for “debugging”. I did exactly that and have not heard back since. Even after attempting to reach out multiple times for an update as to a status. Horrible customer experience, once you pay them you will never hear back.

Worth $3.99, for sure.. This app is amazing. Being able to transfer playlist between different music libraries/services is extremely easy. The free version allows users to transfer playlists one at a time, but the $3.99 to upgrade to the Pro version is worth it, which allows you to transfer multiple playlist at once and change the theme and icon of the app is definitely worth it. The app does sometimes crash in the middle of transferring, but it at least saves where it left of. My iPhone also gets very warm (almost uncomfortably warm) when it is processing.

LOVE IT. I thought this was gonna be another one of those fake, move your playlists around, application, but after downloading and trying it for free, I was sold lol. I love how for only $4, it will sync across multiple applications, for as many playlists as you want, surprisingly accurate (you will sometimes get those outliers, but that is normal), and the automatic sync for when a playlist changes from the source. I 200% recommend this app to anyone who is transferring music streaming services.

Literally Awesome. I’m the guy who listens to music a LOT, and has playlist that range from about an hour to hundreds of songs that last days, and trying to make a playlist on one platform is easy, but to have to do it all over again is a hassle. I was talking to my friend about this a few months ago, and they recommended me this app and MAN it’s nice. It turns hours of doing the same thing over and over into only a matter of minutes, all done for you. If there’s ever a problem with it recognizing a song it’s probably only 3-8 songs at most, and even then when you search for that song(if you still want it in the new copy of your playlist) it’ll probably be there, so no worries👌 from my experience, no payments needed to do this, and ad free, and again it works quickly and nicely. Definitely recommend for those who are like me and have many playlists that have tons of songs and use more than one app for music.

Substitutions and empty playlists. The app first created empty playlists. I got it to work at some point (I think because another similar app made me change a setting which SongShift didn’t warn me about...). I imported a playlist and some songs got substituted for other versions. To be fair, other apps seem to do the same: they will replace songs by any close match. So for classical music an interpretation gets substituted by another one. Any song that has several versions could or could not be transferred properly... Useless. I wish the app makers would warn about this limitation.

Pretty great, some things that aren’t. The service really works well, although sometimes it takes a song from one service and puts a different song of the same name on the other service, even though the first song is available on the new service. Also, if the shift stops, and you try to just restart it, it won’t work sometimes. The service duplicates songs if they’re already on the destination playlist, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, it works the way it should, if not for some bugs.

Awesome! Love it. Works perfect.. But that’s not even the best part. The best part is that it works WITHOUT demanding access to all my personal info. It works without having to make an account, and give my email, or register, or swallow stupid ads. It just works good. Without being annoying or stupid. I’m gonna subscribe to PRO. Not because I need to, or because I want to. But because they made an app that works without being shady. Thanks!

Completely convinced. It started off simple and I just expected it to get more complicated. It never did, the entire process was simple. I did pay for the premium because I had many playlist to transfer. Worked seamlessly, and if it didn’t find the song (didn’t happen often at all) it easily gave you the ability to search a replacement and this actually ended up finding the ones I needed. Don’t do a lot of reviews but this app definitely deserves it. Saved me days of work.

great concept, frustrating bugs. I’m finding this app difficult to use for a large library. The problems start when you have to manually find matches. If there are too many potential matches for an album, selecting one causes a second (often unrelated) album to be selected as well, and it seems you cannot select one without the other. Also, when the app crashes on the “shift” results page, you lose all of your work. It’s painful to struggle with selecting matches and then have to go all the way back to the beginning. Finally, you can’t use your phone while it’s running (40 minutes for my large library). It would be great if the matching process could happen in the cloud. This app is potentially a great tool, but I regret paying for it in its current state.

This made everything much easier!!. Too many apps required premium or subscriptions just to download 50 songs, but this is great! As a person who’s playlists really only reach 400 songs (if they’re unorganized), this made everything a lot easier considering I just had to divvy up the playlist to transfer it into one big playlist on a separate platform.

Amazing. This app worked really well! Signing into music services worked smoothly. Only problem is the amount of time it takes for playlists that you have synced to Apple Music to show up, but this is almost definitely Apples problem. I also love that the developers have clearly tried to implement many of Apples different API’s such as force touch!

So very useful !. This is a terrific app for transferring music between sources. It’s also quite generous; the free version lets you transfer playlist after playlist between two sources. If you pay you get more services, bulk transfers, and all kinds of other things. Give it a go and you’ll see for yourself how easy and terrific it is for moving your music around.

What happened with the last update?!. I used to love this app. Haven’t needed to use it for a couple of months, and now find it’s a disaster! It’s decided to re-scan a bunch of my existing shifted playlists, and won’t let me choose which playlist takes priority - I want to import a new one and have been waiting 2 days so far! Why can’t I say “check later” or “not right now” or something instead of this binary “keep processing this one” or “delete.” Thank goodness I only paid a cheap lifetime subscription aaages ago. I certainly wouldn’t be paying $63 for its current iteration….

I was going to transfer but.... I was going to transfer but I saw one of the things that said Do you agree that songshift will be able to add songs and delete songs from your playlists. At least, that’s what I got from what it said. It just concerns me that people can do stuff to my playlists, if you can explain this to me please do I probably just got mixed up and read it wrong but I don’t want to take any risks.

Legitimate app!. I was a bit skeptical of this app at first, that being how my details would be managed or whether I would have to pay to access the features, but this thankfully none of that is within this app! Its user interface is extraordinarily simple to navigate and transfers songs from one app to another very quickly. If a song does not match, you are able to add it yourself manually (just a quick search in the database).

Doesn’t Transfer all Songs. Started out ok but soon became apparent that not all “transferred” songs made it to the destination playlist despite SongShift showing it did. Raised a ticket some weeks ago and chased up for an answer a couple of weeks later but still none received. Was going to subscribe but simply can’t as it’s not doing what it should.

Worked a treat !. I was sick of a streaming provider and decided to use the tool. It connects to your chosen account without any problem & then guided me to choose albums or playlists. Only a few songs mismatched, but you can find them with recommendations, overall it’s a good experience. People who kept complaining in the reviews, either can’t follow instructions or must be very impatient. The free tool moved each item without any fuss & I can see why people would buy the paid version, if you’re time poor.

Non intuitive. Please provide clear instructions on how to upgrade…

Support requests ignored. I can’t get an import to work. I tried contacting multiple times both through the app and through their website. Ignored every time. There is very little support or troubleshooting information and no help at all if things don’t work. Useless.

Couldn’t ask for better. I literally sign in to the accounts I want, press maybe three buttons to choose which playlists I want and it goes to work. Solid app.

Does a great job for a free service. The interface takes a bit of getting to know, but once you’ve put the effort in, it’s works well.

Paid for pro, crashes all the time. Waste of money in my opinion, crashes if you try and match a load of music. They update saying it’s fixed. So I try again it then matches all my tracks taking 46 mins just for it crash every time I try and get them to move them over Don’t waste your money

The playlist didn’t transfer any song.. The playlist did not transfer any songs, I tried to contact support but after 15 days no one has responded. Bad service! Instead I used tune my music service and it work perfect and client service at least works.

Perfect. Works quickly and flawlessly for many different services. I strongly recommend checking the matches though, as songs tend to change versions on different services.

Awful. Terrible. Destination won’t come up. Menus are at the bottom of very long lists. No way to mass cancel playlist transfer no ‘add all’ function (MAJOR issue when you have hundreds of playlists). Configurations buried under individual playlists. Probably ok if you have one or two playlists to transfer but paid option is about multiple transfers, yet functionality doesn’t match. Stick to free - paying is a rip off.

APP SUCKSSSS. this app is trash, dont get it if u have big playlists. don’t u dare spend $10 to transfer the other half of your playlist because it only transfers the first 200 songs in a playlist. its a one time need to transfer playlists , u dont need a monthly subscription. you wont be transferring playlists every day of the month. use on google “tune my music” SO much quicker, no payment needed, can do an infinite amount of songs. this app is nothing compared to “tune my music”

No Background Transfer. The transfer process is quite slow. I’m happy with the app performance otherwise. It would be great to have this work in the background as it renders your phone useless while it works, and because it is slow, this could be hours.

Absolute waste of money and energy. Unable to recognise almost all songs (one playlist I tried to transfer recognised only 3 of 159 songs; including well known artists such as Eminem, Falling In Reverse, The Living End, Rise Against) Attempted to seek help in the app, NO RESPONSE. All of my playlists have been stuck on pending for more than a month, no explanation or understanding of why, then the one or two playlists I’ve had to manually enter didn’t recognise more of the songs; which I could’ve done without paying for this piece of junk. This app is so utterly useless I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just a scam.

Started great, now really disappointing.. The app started out great, working fine, had no complaints. There was only one issue to begin with. Configurations were self removing themselves, but that was bearable. The reason why I’m giving this the rating I am now though is because it got so much worse from there. Playlists won’t convert correctly, speedshift (premium feature) keeps going unresponsive, and the app itself is just slow and freezes a lot. Even on smaller playlists. This is such a shameful rating to make, because this app was one I would highly recommend. Safe to say it isn’t anymore, and now I’d say find a better option if possible. It doesn’t matter if you delete it, remove configurations and re-add them, or even sign out and sign back in, restarting your device even. Nothing changes these issues. On top of that, adding to an already existing playlist duplicates songs to that playlist, instead of adding the new on top, half the time this feature doesn’t even work at all. So be careful when doing that if you choose to use this app, can be quite annoying having to remove duplicated songs. I really hope to see these things improved and fixed up, so I can give it a much higher rating, because that would’ve been the intention to begin with. But as of right now, I can’t really say it’s worth the money you pay, nor the experience I’d want to have, personally.

Didn’t transfer, no support. After paying $15 for premium and waiting for 40 minutes to transfer my library from Apple Music to YouTube music, NONE of my songs were found/matched up. I tried twice. It wanted me to manually pick all 7,500 songs. Uninstalled and used tunemymusic instead and had no problem whatsoever. Do not recommend.

Paid for premium. Doesn’t even work. As the title states this software is absolutely useless and I wasted $13 for nothing after trying to do a shift for all my playlists. Nothing appears on my Apple Music. I followed all the instructions properly and it just simply does not even work. There should be a satisfaction guaranteed with this instead of just taking your users money.

In-app support doesn't respond (it's been months btw). I had a question about family sharing and opened a ticket (I bought lifetime access) but no one ever got back to me even after several months of waiting. Email and social media is also dormant. Don't believe what they post in the changelog for the app updates.

Music does not transfer from Spotify to Apple Music. I tried to transfer a playlist off Spotify to my apple music and the only thing that showed up in my Apple Music was the playlist name with no songs. Such a shame for an app with so much potential🤦🏽‍♀️

Apple Music App Error. Tried to shift songs from my Spotify account into my Apple Music library and SongShift tells me I don’t have an Apple Music account. This is untrue as I have had my Apple Music account for many years. Bogus!

Price hike. This app used to be a one time purchase to unlock pro for CAD$6.49 and now is CAD$54.99 or you can pay a subscription for it since version 5.0.0. This is an app, not an on-going service, there is no reason why it should be subscription-based.

better options. this requires a $10 a month subscription to do a whole playlist at once, i was switching to apple music from spotify but wanted to keep my liked songs and also keep the order that my liked songs is in. using this to switch over it completely randomized the playlist, which is fine but i was hoping for it to be in the same order as my spotify playlist. i used another service called playlisty that requires a one time fee of $3 and it made a playlist in the exact order i wanted. that way i can listen to my recently added songs which are what im mostly wanting

Simply Fantastic. An absolute joy to use, I didn’t imagine it could be this smooth… the interface is super responsive, the service itself is fast.

Not what it used to be. I used this app a while back transferring from Apple to YouTube and it worked perfectly. Today I tried transferring YouTube and Spotify and had some issues. Why say quickly transfer playlists when I have to rematch 398/451 of the songs in my playlist. It’s pretty much pointless 😂

Does it even work?. I tried transferring three playlists from Spotify to Amazon Music and nothing happened…I even tried opening and re-opening the app. Still the same as when I first got it.

Easy to use, but…. The application is very pleasant and easy to use. On the other hand, the update which in my opinion would be THE MOST IMPORTANT would be to add the option which allows us to update the order of the songs and to delete them. Also, it would be nice to be able to associate more than one account per streaming platform. Until then, yes it's a good application, but there are much better ones.

Absolute rubbish. The pro version now costs $40. I bought it so I could transfer my music library between services. I have 3000 songs; over half of them it could not match and when I tried to match manually couldn’t return me any results for. While a few of my songs I can understand being less mainstream, it couldn’t even match songs by artists such as Pink. Note I have to manually go through 3000 line items ignoring everything they can’t match it let me manually match. It’s aggravating and a waste of time!

OMG SO GOOD (usually I don’t write reviews but…). This app was stellar! No adds and yea sure it took 17 minutes for my 1,724 song playlist… but it’s free and really easy to use! One of the best apps I’ve ever used and I don’t know why there are negative comments it’s so good. And some people are trying to make you pay but I got to do it for free so win win 😊

Doesn’t deserve to be this well rated!. Premium costs what, $72 a year plus tax? The dang thing doesn’t work! SpEeDsHiFt handles a 30 song playlist, sure, but try to transfer a 220 song playlist—you know, something that would take a while, something that would make you pay money for an app to handle it—and it’ll hang for a week without successfully transferring and with no apparent option to skip it and move on. I was under the impression I was paying for convenience—this thing fails to find easy matches and fails to actually transfer the playlist. 0/2.

Best Playlist Transfer App Around. I’ve tried just about every playlist transfer app there is and with the brand new 3.0 update, Songshift is by far the best one out there. I’ve been wanting an auto-sync feature for years and finally an app delivered. My only request is for a two-way sync so regardless of the service I add the songs from, both service playlists are in sync.

Exceptional. Out of all the apps I’ve purchased the IAP for, this one is most definitely the one that I’d argue was the most worth it. The app is beautifully built, works cleanly, and does what you need it to with ease. I especially love how it is able to connect to my music library even though I don’t have Apple Music. I have few qualms with anything in the app.

*UPDATED:* won’t let me transfer to apple music. it keeps telling me to turn on sync library but it’s already on. i’ve restarted the app multiple times and it still won’t let me. the problem seems to have been fixed and now works perfectly! thanks to the devs for addressing it. super easy to use and i recommend it

Worked great! Fast to transfer and easy to use.. After trying and failing with a more expensive option from the AppStore that requires you to pay $9.99 upfront to transfer anything over 10 songs, the free version of SongShift was able to seamlessly transfer almost 1000 songs from my Pandora thumb ups to a Apple Music playlist with only 20 songs unmatched. Thank you! Upgrading to paid version.

This App Has Improved MASSIVELY. I’ve used Songshift for about 5 years now. It worked great at first and had a period where it was almost non-functional. The app is now incredible and my success rates are through the roof at record speed. BRAVO Songshift team, we need more devs that stick behind their software for the long run (even with customers who made one-time payments). Thank you!

Do not buy pro version.. I used SongShift free and it worked great. I purchased a subscription because I was having an error trying to transfer a full library to another source so I figured maybe if I upgrade this issue will stop. It did not. Upgrading did nothing for me but waste money. I opened a ticket in the customer support and they never replied to me or anything. Should have never spent any money on this app. Same speeds and access as the free version. App product is great for smaller things like playlist but customer support is zero to none.

Awesome concept, but needs improvement.. I would love to give this app 5 stars for the concept alone, but it needs a few key improvements. 1) It would be nice to have an option to transfer the entire library of downloaded music between apps rather than just by album, artist, and playlist. 2) It appears as though the app needs to be running AND open in order for it to find song matches, meaning it won’t just process jobs if you switch to another app... the app has to be open or it’s basically paused. 3) This may be a reach, but I would also like to see the option to transfer cover art (for both albums and playlists). I truly think if these features were added, this app would be perfect! Great job so far though!

Oh okay, this is a very good app. I’ve used many other apps to try transferring my playlists and no other app has been as smooth fast and convenient as SongShift. Highly recommend the Pro version if you are transferring a large amount of songs as well as it is very worth it. Okay that calls for a John rip. Thx.

Best game in town. Been using Song Shift since the beginning. It has continued to evolve into a dependable tool. I use all music services because… I can and when I need to share something, song shift makes it easy to keep my music synced across services so it’s available to friends, students and clients no matter what their streaming service is.

Bro whatttt. Not even joking, it’s entirely free if you just wanna shift your playlists, albums, or songs over. For free it does a lot. The only things that cost money are if you wanna have access to more of there features, like if you wanted to shift over all of your songs in your library you can’t do that.

Customer support doesn’t even respond. I used this app for 1-2 playlists every now and then for about 2 yrs while it was free and then they started charging. I contacted support and they gave me a yr of their subscription however, nothing works now. All the features I’m supposed to be able to use don’t work. All the newly added music to my playlist is showing stuck in “pending”. I contacted support about 4 months ago and never heard back from anyone, even though I’ve been following up every few weeks since then. This is so frustrating.

App doesn’t remove songs and support doesn’t answer. UPDATE (5/4). The developer finally replied (due to the review, not my support requests). My original review is below. I updated the rating to 3 stars though because the issue with deleting songs is apparently an Apple restriction. I have had issues with the app not matching songs during the sync process, even though when you search, it finds the exact song title. Their support needs improvement and they should clearly note that they cannot delete songs from playlists, only add them. ——————————- I’ve submitted a question to support twice, via the app. Neither time did I EVER receive a response. Further use has shown that the app does not delete songs removed from the source list. Don’t pay for the app.

Delightful. What a treat to find an app that’s thoughtfully designed, seamlessly does what it promises to do, and features totally reasonable prompts to upgrade to the paid version. There are some songs it consistently struggles to transfer between two music apps that both carry the song, but overall, this is a great tool that perfectly fills a need. The playlist merging is especially clutch. Thanks!

Great concept, horrible with accessibility with VoiceOver. Before this update, I was able to use this app quite nicely with voiceover. It wasn't the best design, and the labels on the different elements weren't very clear, but I figured it out after fiddling around with it a little bit. Now, virtually all of the elements are unlabeled, minus the list of shifts that I have already made, plus the new shift button. I can't figure out what I'm doing anymore, because nothing is being spoken to me. All it says is button. Can you fix this issue soon? Accessibility is the only reason that I'm not using this application anymore.

Would like one more feature. Love this app! Does it what it's supposed to but it does annoy me a little how many songs it isn't sure about. I wish there were a feature where the most likely song gets added automatically and it just lets me know which songs I need to check are correct. But I have no complaints and the Pro version us definitely worth it.

Not that great. Paid for the premium. Waste of money really. I only had playlists on pandora that I wanted moved over to Apple Music. The playlist transferred decently enough, but even with premium it would still miss matching about 1/4 of my playlist. I’d recommend something else. Don’t waste your money. It doesn’t work for pandora radio stations sadly either. Which I know a few others do which I should have just gone with in the first place.

Actually free!. One of the few apps that doesn’t require you to pay to do the basic functions of the app (which is transferring playlists). You have to pay extra if you want to select more than one playlist at a time, but for the everyday user it works perfect for free!

Not great. I understand that some songs and artists aren’t on all the different platforms… but when they are on all of them but with slightly different spellings such as “&” for “and”, that should not be enough to kick back no match. Slightly different is when a foreign artist changes from native spelling (ie. kanji or other Asian characters) to English, it’s a fairly simple translation in this day and age. How is that not implemented? Y’all make it seem like you’re “matching” is superior to others but y’all miss SO many songs.

insane⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏽. i’m going to be honest, name genuinely taking the time of day to write this should tell you enough. I can say in confidence this app has changed my future, i don’t want to tell all because you should download it for yourself and see but it’s guided me to the right paths to multiple paths to potentially follow, the choice is yours to follow and download though and see yours.

Great app! Very accurate!. At first when I tried it there were some errors in matching the songs so I decided to try pro and see if the results were improved. They were. This led me to purchase a year to support ya’ll. I listen to a lot of music and I switch between apps so I figured this would be useful to have. Thank you!

Great way to manage my Pandora Likes with Apple Music. I really love Apple Music but not a fan of their AI Music Engine based on likes. Pandora does this the best but not a fan of the lower quality sound on sonos. Song Shift does exactly what I need auto monitors and imports my likes playlist songs and I thumb up on playlist and I get to play them on Apple Music :) Best of both worlds if you ask me.

Awesome… But!. An awesome product but there is one function I need or quite figure out. I am a playlist curator and I constantly move songs up and down like a ranking system. I want to be able to update these lists across streaming platforms… it seems to just add new songs, but not recognize when a song moved within a playlist. FYI I am a pro customer and thought this function might be unlocked. Help!

Best transfer service I’ve tried yet. Honestly the best matching service I’ve tried. Easy to use, free vs subscription option is the way subscription services should be modeled universally (you can definitely use the service for free and feel good about it but some nice to haves are in the sub). Matches are 99% accurate and it’s intuitive to fix the ones that don’t match or are incorrect.

Nothing like it before.. SongShift has many music providers to switch between, and it work amazingly easily. You just select a playlist on one platform and you can automatically shift it to another. It’s also great to see that the developer chose to let the user make unlimited shifts without a subscription. Good business model.

Wish I had this years ago!. I make a lot of playlists for different functions and restaurants and this has made it so easy to transfer music from different platforms! Even when making playlists for friends who don’t have Apple Music! Thank you for making something so time consuming so much less of a hassle!!

Incredible.. nothing left to say. SongShift does exactly what it needs to do; it’s effective, simple, and feature-packed! If there is any feedback to give, it would be to allow Sync to detect when songs have been removed from a playlist. Other than that, it’s nothing short of a perfect tool!

Amazing and Improving Everyday. This service is great!! it used to match the wrong songs but with the newest update they allow you to look over the matches snd easily change it up... with that being said I don't i've had to switch it up yet, the accuracy has gotten better too! This app is amazing and makes me contemplate getting the premium version!

A lot of unlabeled buttons when using VoiceOver. When I used this app several months ago, it worked alright with VoiceOver, Apple's screen reader. But nowa majority of the buttons aren't labeled, so VoiceOver just says the word "button" and nothing else. I can start to make a shift, but none of the music services are labeled, so I can't figure out what's what. I also can't change any settings because the only button that has a label is the "close" button. Please fix this if you can. I'd love to use this app again.

Transfer missing over 200 songs and no response. Paid for a month and tried to sync a playlist of 1382 songs. After it was finished the app said only 4 songs were ignored. I then checked the new playlist on Apple and 200 songs were missing. I manually went through the first 20 missing and all of them were on Apple. I submitted a ticket over a week ago to Song Shift and still had zero response. What’s the use of paying for a subscription when the transfer misses hundreds of songs and I get no response on support?

Exactly what I was looking for. This app is a dream I wish I knew about it sooner! The only complaint is that I wish I was able to add the playlist to my Apple Music without if automatically adding each individual song to my music library… maybe they can change that with the next update !

the idea is nice but functionality needs work. the idea of transferring music from one service to another is really nice, and the app is easy to use, but i’ve been having a lot of trouble with the transferring process itself. the app crashes a lot while processing a transfer, which interrupts the process and it doesn’t notify me which is inconvenient. also the wait times are inaccurate for me. i’ve been trying to transfer my song library for about three weeks and i’m always given a wait time of 15 minutes just to check back an hour later and it would then say 9 minutes. i would then check back in 9 minutes and the app would show that the process has been interrupted and that i need to restart the process again. so again, great idea, works well with smaller playlists, but i’ve been having a lot of trouble which my larger playlists and my song library transfers.

Best in class. I’m writing a brand new review even though I’ve written one before. This app does everything it says it will and more. The developer is not only responsive and supportive, but takes pride in this app. I encourage everyone who uses more than one streaming service and/or wants to share or migrate different playlists or items from one service to another to buy this immediately!

The 4.0 update pushes me to finally buy the pro features!. Update: this app is still worth every penny of the pro upgrade and is a must! It helps my wife and I have a combined playlist of all our music so we can listening to everything on road trips and such! I love the new update! Runs perfectly! I have no issues whatsoever! Does exactly what it says!

Literally a life saver. Recently lost my tidal subscription from T-Mobile and decided to switch to Apple Music. Whoever created this app deserves a big fat wet kiss on the lips. SongShift allowed me to transfer hundreds of songs in just a few minutes and saved me hours of work and on top of that it’s all free. Couldn’t rate it higher 5/5

One of the easiest 5-star reviews of all time. I wanted to try other cloud music services but never felt like taking the time to keep multiple libraries up to date. They are unlocking new profits for all the service providers which is probably how they can monetize on the current subscription model. you could cancel after getting your libraries synced, but this type of technology at this price point is a no brainer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Customer service is non-existent. I switched music apps to a service that pays artists more fairly, but I have several playlists in my legacy music app that I want to keep. SongShift sounded like the ideal solution. The legacy music app paired instantly, but after repeated attempts the new music app would not piar - the integration kept telling me my password was wrong. I tried logging in directly to the music app, resetting my password, etc to no avail. I reached out to SongShift’s contact and support through the app multiple times over the course of five weeks, and they never responded.

Finally an app that transfers music. Probably the best app there is to transfer music. It was easy to use and simple. There was a few things that did bother me. It was crashing when I was transferring a lot of music at once. And for some reason when I transferred to Apple Music, some songs didn’t have album artwork. Had to search and re-add them to get the artwork. But overall a great app. No weird matches and it lets you know if there wasn’t a match for that song.

A Great Help, But Shoddy in Some Parts. From Someone who uses multiple music streaming services it is a pain to not have them all connected. SongShift helps incredibly by converting playlists, but the detection for songs is not the best. I would say 7/10 times, a song is wrong, or straight up gone. Thankfully you can change it manually which helps a lot. Even with this hiccup, it’s a lot easier to use SongShift, than make a playlist for every streaming service.

Does what it is supposed to do. Long time user of Houdini - SongShift lagged behind it for many years — but SongShift has surpassed it for playlist transfer. Is it worth the subscription price? Probably not — but if you have a massive amount of playlists to transfer to another music service — just pay for it for a month I guess.

Such an amazing app. I have to say this is the most helpful app I’ve ever used, I was freaked out because I thought I couldn’t transfer playlists, but this app helped me with that, also it was super easy you just log in with whatever music app your using then transfer playlists or songs that simple, thank you 👍!

Artificial Paywalls. The system works well, but the artificial paywalls that they’ve implemented are to irritate you to such a level that you either forgo the app or give them money. I would’ve probably ended up paying for the full version to process my whole library if it hadn’t been for the 30 second ad paywalls. Those really grind my gears and I won’t give money to any dev that uses them.

Wow. Ok I don’t right many reviews but this one gets one! What do I have to say? Not much! Download the app, use it and experience the magic this app has to offer! Works perfectly! And was a absolute perfect gem. Saved me so much money not have multiple streaming music apps. Thank you! Well worth the lifetime purchase and the price for that although free works was well worth it.

Does not create playlists. I got this app when it first came out. It had issues but did the job well. It has not worked since then. I reset the phone, got a new one, etc and any existing playlist updates and the app appears to work but does not create the playlist. The app does not have an option to recreate them either so it’s useless. Following the instructions to reconnect a source/destination for Apple Music does not make a difference. Hi me of the biggest (expensive app) waste of money in the app world.

Excellent music transfer implementation. I usually don’t rate any apps, but I had to make an exception for this. I told myself “I’m going to rate this if SongShift does what it says it does for free”. And it did! It was very intuitive and made me feel in-control due to its excellent UI. It matched more songs than its competitors as well. I don’t plan to use the pro features, but for $4, anyone who needs that service will find it a steal! Thanks for a well-developed app!

Great application and does what is advertised. When searching for an app to move play lists from one music service to another I ran across this one. It did most when I first got it and now does all that I need from the updates from the developer. It's not overpriced like a few that I found and it also does it all from your mobile device.

Unreal! If you wonder, yep it’s real!. It’s hard to believe that asking Siri a question just now has solved a brain-buster I wasted all day fretting about. “How can I transfer my song library, playlists, albums etc. from one music streaming app to another. Appearing before me, top of the page, SoundShift. Went to the App Store, searched it, found it, and downloaded it. Super quick, easy to understand, did exactly what I wanted, and no hassles. Unreal. Thank you, SoundShift.
