Speech Coach. The next revolution in speech coaching! LikeSo is helping my clients practice following our sessions in a fun and helpful way. They really enjoy receiving the feedback and the quick practice format. I believe will be hearing a lot more speech fitness in the world!

Powerful Tool!. As a podcast host and former professor, I’ve always tried to be mindful of the manner in which I speak—which is why I love this app! LikeSo makes it easy and fun to assess our speech patterns and alter any tendencies that impede effective communication.

Pretty cool app!. I love the concept of the app, as people seem to be using filler words at an increasing rate. I have recently used the app on a recorded presentation that I recently completed and it worked very well. My one suggestion is to add "umm" to the list of detected words. That is a big one that I find myself using frequently.

A Good But Basic App. It’s easy to understand the premise of this app. I like it a lot. I use a good bit of fillers myself, so it helps with that. What the app doesn’t do is really make you much much better over time. It instead gives you a nice boost right after you use it. What I found to be the most successful way of using it is to do a few sessions on the way to work or in the morning and use that as a catalyst to speak better all day. Great value for free.

LikeSo - like, awesome!. This is a terrific app for improving not just public speaking skills, but oral communication overall. As the parent of a middle schooler, as well as a professional educator who both delivers talks and listens to many others at presentations and meetings, I can't tell you how many people could benefit from woking on their speaking skills. LikeSo is a really fun way to improve. The analytics are super helpful. Using this app with my son has made me much more mindful of my own speech patterns. I plan to continue to use it to prepare for my own presentations and just practice communicating more clearly and directly. I found this kind of practice has helped my writing too.

Doesn’t work!. Save your money and don’t download this stupid app. It doesn’t help at all. Worst app ever!!!

Won’t open on my iPhone!. Paid for it and can’t even open it. I want my money back.

Can’t listen for uh and um. The “pro” version listens for uh and um, but you can’t use that version unless the company you work for signs up. So you pay $5 for what’s essentially a “lite” version and sure, it listens for filler words, which is cool EXCEPT IT CAN’T LISTEN FOR THE TWO MOST COMMON FILLER WORDS. Seriously why don’t you have uh and um in here?

Love this app!. This app has been so helpful and easy to use! It’s especially great for college students in preparing for interviews and perfecting the dreaded “elevator pitch”, or even just practicing a presentation for class. It’s definitely worth the price and I would suggest it to anyone who is looking to reduce how much they use filler words or anyone who has an issue with pacing (either speaking too fast or too slow). It definitely brought to my attention filler words that I didn’t even know I was using. The best part of the app is the freestyle mode, because it allows you to practice whatever it is you may need help with—interviews, presentations, etc.

Great tool for business!. Tap the words "Tap to Select a Topic..." to bring up a menu of topics in TalkAbout mode for those that are having issues. This is a great tool for business! I use it to hone my sales pitch, elevator speech, cold call, you name it. For someone that is naturally reserved, the app allows me to practice speaking out loud and avoid the long silences, useless filler words and awkward pacing that signals nervousness to my clients. You should definitely give it a try before you next presentation or sales meeting.

Fantastic!. Downloaded the app to sharpen presentation skills as well as help reduce usage of "filler" words in daily life. After just a couple of days practice I can already feel my awareness increase dramatically which has resulted in improved speech. Such a simple yet effective tool!

Limited Customization. My spouse uses the filler "uh" so much that I have tried to make him aware of it for many years but it doesn't last long and he's back at it again. Someone else has mentioned it to me also about his using "uh" almost between words, forget just between sentences! I was hoping "uh" and/or "huh" would be among the problem words. Nope, and there's no apparent way to add it. I just wish he could see reading from a printed script how many times he throws it in sometimes. Oh well.

Umm - no umm???. How can this not include umm as a filler word??? It my big fail word so this was a big disappointment. The app is a great idea, but extremely limited (particularly for the price).

No “um” or “uh”. Wish there was user configurability where I can add my own personal filler words. At a baseline, “um” and “uh” should definitely be included because they are the most common filler words.

Really helpful!. Used it to practice for a short video filming. It helped with my "fillers" and my pacing. My daughter used it to prep for a group presentation.

Used to be better. I really like this app, but lately it hasn’t been working well for me. I can’t stop my freestyle speeches when I’m finished and therefore cannot see the related analytics. Please update so it works smoothly again.

Good but could be better. I really like the product and how fast or slow I am talking. One suggestion I would make is to include more filler words such as like, um, uh, etc. I think it has the potential to be great.

Great! However.... Definitely a great way to go about helping those who either use fillers too much or just have trouble speaking regularly in conversation! But please add “um”, “uh,” etc. to the options to scan for. I use them so much and I’m sure many others do as well! It would be very helpful to see the amount and how it can be reduced. Thank you!

Helping to solve an epidemic. It really hit me today, listening to a group of guys (yes guys) who could not stop using the word "like" multiple times in every sentence. I found it slightly annoying to even listen to them converse. This app is a great way to help people stop relying on filler words, and to help them be taken more seriously. This app has helped me fine-tune my speech too. Good app!

Paid app crushing ever since I bought it. Not sure how users manage to give a 5 stars rating. Since downloaded, the app never worked. No matter what I do, whenever I open it will close after less than a second. After emailing the developer and waiting for the best part of 2 months I give “app” Worst app I ever paid for.

I LIKE ... LOVE IT!!. This app is amazing! I am around that age where I am starting to interview for jobs, and this app has helped give me so much confidence in myself! The “Talk About” section really helps with specific situations, such as interviews, and I can also use “Freestyle” to talk more about absolutely anything. This app is absolutely phenomenal, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Crashes. Immediately crashes after clicking on the home screen to enter app. I saw other reviews saying same - I thought they would have fixed it- but I guess not!

Crashes. Unable to use.. I’m quite sad. As soon as I move past the red splash screen, the app crashes. I am on an iPhone XR with iOS 13.6 I have LikeSo app v1.7 I have full WiFi. Full cellular. STR: Open app. Observe red splash screen Accept microphone permissions. Deny voice recognition data to Apple permissions. Tap on red screen. View next screen with heavy text and white less than a second Crash (app cuts and I land on my home screen). I have reproduced crash 7 additional times. Same STR but without permissions alerts. Tried uninstalling and re-installing. Same results. I am especially bummed because I paid for it 😞 Edit: Uninstalled and re-installed a third time. This time same STR except I accepted the “send data to Apple” permission. I got past the second splash screen and was able to start a talking session. I chose: ask me, job interview, 60 seconds, listen for all words. I got through all five questions but once the 5th question hit 60 seconds nothing happened. The app is frozen there. I cannot move forward or back. This has been a very disappointing experience.

Doesn’t seem to pick up all my speech. The free style mode occasionally reports a grade for my one-minute speech noting I spoke 3 words, which is very inaccurate.

Setting the record straight. I have been using this app for years. It’s always and I do mean always worked flawlessly. I read some negative reviews which triggered me to finally write mines. People download apps without truly reading what it does. Or they interpret what they’ve read into what they wanna see and boom. Negative comment. This app does exactly what it says it does. I think every public speaker including teachers, pastors, managers, dispatchers, writers, etc... should have something like this. This app is brilliant and 1 of a kind. & F no. I wasn’t paid to write a review. Just a loyal customer ticked off by user error buyers and clucks who buy without understand the intended purpose of something. A MUST HAVE APP ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Works flawlessly. Everyone prepping for a presentation or an interview can benefit from this app. Even if you don't use a lot of filler words, it's nice to have the app grade you as articulate... Always good for the confidence. One feature request: please add "uh" "um" to its vocabulary. Great app.

Horrible, doesn't work.. I downloaded this app after watching a video a few days ago. Paid for it. And it just doesn't work. I made my 30 minutes presentation with the app open on free style and all it detected was just one word. Literally, just one word. Tried again, got the same results. They should either fix it or refund money. Or at least teach how to use if I am using it wrong.

Easy steps to verbal fitness!. I love targeting my own verbal pitfalls in workout exercises, using the new version of LikeSo! It's fun and easy to work toward improving my verbal style, using this app. And it's fun to one-up my kids on a car trip!

The best!. LikeSo proves to be such an effective app in improving speaking skills - and a great way for teens to broach difficult subjects with their peers. I got it for my teens but I have ended up using it a lot, too, for checking myself on new presentations. Love it!!

More features please. Good app thus far, kinda limited tho. Keep adding to it! Roll out updates more often, add more words to filter out and more features in general. It’ll take the app a long way. Change is good.

Fun app and functions well but...like.... It is definitely not catching all of the, um, filler words. And is a little pricey!

User. This app has been such an eye opener for my daughter who is involved in high school debate. She has really tightened up her speech using this valuable tool! It will also help with college interviews and other situations where clear and confident oral communication is crucial!

Fun and easy to use!. This has become my new favorite app! LikeSo is fun and easy to use. It has made me more aware of the filler words I use in my day to day life. I feel more confident and eloquent when I speak now. I use it with friends and it's always a riot! It has the excitement and surprise of Heads Up, but you actually learn how to speak better. Definitely worth the purchase!

Upgrade is great. This is a wonderful app, and is now more intuitive to use. Can't wait for future versions... Especially the profanity counter!

Not useful without detection of “um” words. Wasted the money as I thought this would detect the most common filler word - “um”. Please fix this!

The software is so buggy!. 1. The stop button of recording does not work 2. No place to analyze a existing voice memo 3. Why do I need to choose a time limit on my speech??!

Wonderful but.... All they need to add is the ability to change the prep time and speak time as well as the words is filters. At the very least you need the words Um ect.

Exactly what I wanted...uh, almost. So, like, um...this app is incredible. I love how easy it is to use, and how quickly it can analyze my (or someone else's) speech. We have been looking for an app to measure the quality of our speaking -- and more importantly how we can improve measurably. This app does that all, with grace - and for only a buck, wham! My one request is to add um and uh to the list of words analyzed. I know they are not technically words, but they are too big of a culprit to ignore. Can't wait for future updates! 💯

Really good. It's really great for getting my mind ready for the night, my mind gets a bit stale at forming proper sentences through the week without having someone to talk to. This is like a V-Friend 😜 Would like to see more conversation prompts. Well worth the money spent. Would love to be able to review what I actually said. It's a shame that the app can't rate you on what I'm saying actually being interesting, but maybe we'll have to wait for Ai for that 😂

LikeSo. This app is rubbish. You cannot specify exact times in freestyle. The stop or pause button does not work. Finally the feedback link does not work. I will be requesting a refund & am highly disappointed after researching for a decent app.

Great new LikeSo App. Wow, was introduced to this @thegirls'lounge in NY and I see so many applications for use: career building, speech practice, STEM proposals, self-awareness goals and oral presentations! Can't wait to share with my STEM and corporate partners!

Toast Masters in your pocket. Great digital (and low key) alternative to public speaking courses; An important self-awareness tool.

Uh and um not included. "Uh" and "um" are the most common filler words, and this app does not include them. I paid for this app, and expected that it would help train me to stop saying uh and um. Im really disappointed and surprised that these aren't a part of the app. To me, that seems like the bare minimum.

Saving my socially anxious butt. This app is truly wonderful. Some people don't consider speech tics a problem but for someone prone to awkward silences and sweaty armpits at the mere thought of social interaction this app is a lifesaver. I personally love using the FreeStyle feature to practice my presentations for school, and the TalkAbout feature proves invaluable for social events with my parents or my peers. I don't know that many people notice my speech becoming more articulate but for me the fewer lengthy pauses, 'likes' 'sorrys' and 'sos' are victories in themselves! I would highly recommend this for anyone with or without social impairment as it is a great tool, it's fun and user friendly, and it's basically saving my high school career for oral presentations. It's good for any event which involves talking, which is most events, so everyone can and should use this app! The only thing that could make this better would be the addition of more words to 'train against'. 'umm' 'uhh' 'but' and 'yeah' come to mind in particular. I love this app and will definitely be using it in the coming months and probably longer. And I look forward to future development.
