The Dododex is a brilliant app. The Dododex is very helpful to me in a ton of ways first it is awsome how Dododex shows you what you need to tame certain Dino’s. Then the Dododex will show you how to make the certain kibbles needed for the certain Dino’s. It even shows you what different types of Dino’s drop. The idea that someone would research this much about ark so that the players know how to do things on ark is awsome. I love ark so much but sometimes I don’t know how to make certain kibbles or I don’t know what I use to knock out the Dino’s I’m wanting to tame but when have Dododex that’s not a problem at all I really think this app should have 5 out of 5 as the rating using this app is a life saver in so many ways whether your trying knock out tame or make kibble this app is there with it all written down this app is free too this app is probably my favorite to keep out when playing ark it will turn you from a lvl 1 to a 70 in no time so get this app try it out and you might love it.

Great, but a Few Suggestions. This app is AMAZING!!! Most of the data is near accurate (better than the wiki) and is immensely helpful for all creatures. However, other information needs to be updated, which include what the creature can fir through, and what it can be carried by. (FE, hyaenodons cannot fit through door frames, and dimetrodons cannot be carried by an argentavis.) Additionally, several tips are quite inappropriate, although they are sometimes funny, I will admit. A suggestion for this app would be to show where the creatures spawn in each map. Other than this, Dododex is essential for taming dinos in Ark.

Cant live without it!. I have been using this app for many years, when mobile came out. It has saved me more times than I can count. Without Dododex, I would be completely lost with what to do in the world of taming in Ark. Before the simplified kibble system, each egg laying dino had its own kibble so it got a bit overwhelming in trying to remember all of them. Dododex has everything you need when it comes to taming, what is the best gatherer for each resource, etc. etc. Thank you, Dan, for creating such an amazing platform to reference while playing. 🥰

Amazing app! Quick suggestion, though.... Your app is the best thing to use with your play through of Ark! It has all the information one could need for the game. Info on each and every dinosaur, which harvest resources best, where to find resources, the layout of each map, the list goes on. I use this app every time I play the game so I can do things efficiently and quickly. One suggestion that I have, though, to make this app even better would be a place to record what tames we have. Sure, I could just use a notepad and all, but that just feels wrong. A little section to record what dinos we have would be a great addition! You know, and be able to record the levels and stats on it, maybe even be able to add the current stats of each tame in our game in somehow! That part is a tall order if any, so I understand that won’t likely happen. But at least consider adding a list so we can keep track of what dinos we have. Thank you for the amazing app!

If you play ark I highly suggest this app. Dododex is a multiplatform tool that can help you calculate tames and dinos, levels, wasted point stats, resource maps, dino maps, this is all very useful for a beginning ark player, this has everything you need to survive the ark! I love this app alot, and my personal review would be 10 stars if that existed, if this app ever went away i dont know how i would play on new and unfamiliar maps, ark 2 is coming out soon, so dododex developers, im exited to see how you guys can get info on ark 2 and help people learn about the game!

Best ark companion app on the market!. Where do I start. Probably that this app is super easy to use and is always up to date. Not just that but it has features like taming calculators but it also has recipes. And what they do and what Dino’s like them even dyes! And it’s all set up in a simple format. One last thing that I really appreciate is that the there is a upgrade you can buy. For money but what’s great is that it doesn’t force you to buy these it’s just little extra features That’s why I gave Dododex a 5 star highly recommend this for any ark player.

Absolute Necessity. I use this app all the time. All the features are great, and work so well and having it on your phone is so convenient. You can look up the creature you want to tame, put in your sever settings see how much food and tranqs it’ll take. You can even modify the weapons so you can know EXACTLY what you need with your specific taming method. Also the stat calculator is amazing, I’m sure people are upset because they use it for tamed creatures but it’s supposed to be for wild creatures when you have them knocked out. So when you use it right it’s flawless I love it. This with Ark smart breeder for tamed creatures and keeping track of stats is a great combination too and I cannot imagine playing ark without it.

Awesome! But this bothers me.. Hello, now it could just be me (and the app is glitching for me) but I used to be able to pull up spawn maps for the different creatures. Now I can’t do that, or it does pull up the spawn map, but the little squares that highlight the zones for the spawns aren’t there, so I can’t see where it would spawn. Now, take this with a grain of salt, because I could just be missing something or my app is glitching, but all around, this is an amazing app! It’s helped me tame many a creature in ARK and survive much longer without it. Thanks so much for making it! (I tried to do 4 1/2 stars but it wouldn’t let me, so I had to do four, but still an awesome app!) but honestly, the spawn maps are an easy fix, I can just look up the spawn maps, just an inconvenience right now.

Recommend if you play ark but a very small problem. This app is amazing, it gives you info on how many darts it would take narcotics / any other torpor riser what’s the best creature at harvesting a certain thing and barely ever ads the thing is some creatures aren’t in here and for the latest games like genesis only magmasaur out and I use this so much I use it every time I tame a creature it also tells you what kibble it take and what level you get it’s saddle! But for example, there’s no manta on here and i see this as a big problem to the app I look up to but keep up the great work!!

Recommended for Everybody!. I began Ark: Survival Evolved about three years ago, I relied on Ark Wiki for quite awhile, it was useful, very useful, but extremely laggy at times. When I found DodoDex, nothing could have been better! It was so much faster and easier! After being confronted about DodoDex’s compatibility with in game Ark on mobile, it was even more easy! ++ Uses: Quick and easy. Accurate and updated. Can be accessed from Ark Mobile with the quick tap of a button, which is extremely useful for when you’ve got pregnant animals and dinosaurs at you feet, and you have no idea when the baby will be born! Oh, and there is also a taming timer, where you can figure out in advanced, or at the moment, you’re taming something, how long it’ll take, and what is recommended for taming use. Much like Ark Wiki, it also shows you how many hits, darts, arrows, whatever you need to knock out a creature, which is extremely useful for newer people to the Ark! One of my favourite things about DodoDex, is that there’s a comment and tip section where you can sort things by category, showing you people’s tips and comments who help. There’s a special category for Names, even. Which is helpful for people who can’t think of a name. ++ Anyways, this has been a long review, but I hope it helped! — Lots of Love! Bad app were. Been using this app for the past while now it was a cool app when I first used it because it wasn’t so glitchy now it’s really really really glitchy and I can’t even use the app because it’s always glitching back to the main menu it needs to be fixed I spent five dollars on it and deleted the app and re-downloaded the app to try to fix that glitch in the glitch was still working so that’s a big problem this year I am reinstalled it well after I spent five dollars on it and it said you have not spent the five dollars on it so the app is ripping me off I think I have no idea but I don’t trust it

Download if you play Ark. I went from being at casual Ark player to a relatively serious dedicated Ark player, this game helped me every step of the way. I’ve never written a review before but this app deserves it, it will make the world of Ark a LOT easier. Not only is there a vast amount of information from the devs but also the player tips are amazing and make the journey more fun and enjoyable. Laughing at stories of other people or genuinely getting advice for the best way to tame and how much food, narcotics and traqs you will need. Where animals spawn,resource maps, what tools to gather with and what things give the most. Wether this is your third attempt at playing an ark server and your just trying to get of the beach, or your a seasoned pro who thinks he knows how was us around the island, this app will change the way you play.

My review on dododex. This app is amazing for anyone who is new to ark or just wants taming/finding resources or a certain Dino on any map to be easier or anyone who just needs a little help and Its correct I’d say 99% of the times I use it and if it could be off by a little bit it will say that it could be off a little do to a bug and the resource feature that lets you see what Dinos are best for gathering certain resources is all based on people that play ark and rated the dinos based on their experience with using it for those resources. And the best part is it works for every platform of ark from mobile to console so it will work for anyone

This app is amazing and helpful. Its a simple review because i just want to say i have been using this app for a few years and i have had little to no problems with it but one thing i do ask is can you please fix what happens when you look up something and the picture just does not load and when you click it it crashes the app, its a very small problem i have had but its not anything that ruins the app, its an amazing app and i am exited to see how it grows, you did an amazing job on it

A helpful and great app for people who like ark.. This app great for a variety of reasons! Honestly it can be helpful in a lot of situations in ark survival evolved such as exploring, taming, and overall just as a source of information. Wether your trying to tame something for the first time and don’t know what to feed it. Or just if need to know how to make something in ark. Also there is a feature where you can read tips made by people who use the app. In it you can read funny or more helpful ones which is fun, helpful, and unique. It’s also just a nice time saver for people who love ark. The point is it is a well made useful app that covers tons of thing like various calculators even if they aren’t the most accurate and may not have everything up to date on some of the features. But if you love ark and play it often then I would definitely recommend it! Also thanks to the people who made it because they did a great job at doing it!

Some people are weird. I honestly don’t know why this apps been getting random one star reviews like if you like the app either say so or don’t leave a review at all same with problems either say them or don’t leave a review. But in general this app is awesome it’s normally correct and fast my only suggestion is that along with the console commands tab it tells you how to open the admin console on a platform so like it would ask you what platform you play on and it would tell you. But other than that the app is awesome

A necessity for any ark player. Over the past two years I've used dododex to help me locate, knock out, and tame dinos. From how may hits it takes to down a dino to how much food it will eat to how many narcs you need to feed it, dododex has the answers. Custom server with it's own rates? You can input those rates into the settings! Have a custom rifle you use for tranqing? You can add it in! If you play ark and do any taming at all, you NEED this app. Only downside is that anyone can comment and most comments are either outdated, wrong, or completely unrelated to anything about that dino. I suggest just avoiding that section entirely.

Pretty useful but tips section feels like Facebook. For the most part, the app is pretty good. the feeding calculators have gotten more accurate and reliable. However, there are a lot of areas where PC vs Mobile platform differences are not well addressed, and some really platform centric opinion users. Also, some folks have taken over some sections (like dyes or certain creatures) as their personal Discord Servers, so good luck getting any useful tips there. I'd love to see a way to filter/sort tips since only a few can be easily viewed, and the top rated ones may not address your specific issue. So yeah, get the app, but take it with a grain of salt, especially the crowd source sections.

Good app but one problem. I do like this app but its been bugging me recently. I tried to post part 4 of my story for jerboas and it keeps saying it’ll be reviewed because it thinks I asked for upvotes even though I’m not. I’ll provide the story now. Tales From the Arks Part 4 An alpha raptor pounced and landed on squeaks. They all ran away except for squeaks. Their yelling was growing quieter and quieter until it stopped. They all regrouped the next day and realized they needed allies they set off for the desert in search for friends and settled down in the endless dunes and started to dehydrate. They had to search for an oasis. Fuzzy:hey guys is that sand moving Radar:your probably hallucinating Shadow:Is it normal for 2 people to see the same hallucination? Because I see that and it almost looks like... Radar:A DEATH WORM, SCATTER They all ran in different directions and they all met up at the burrow and dehydrated to a point where they fell unconscious. Only to wake up somewhere way different... I accept feedback and you guys are in for a treat next time ;) -Harpocrates

This is better then I thought!. So some of you guys reading this might have seen but: for dodo I submitted something on the taming section at the beginning it said “(im sorry but you spelled encountering wrong)” at the time I had typed that there was only 1 n instead of 2 and guess what! 32 minutes I came back and it was spelled correctly!! Wow! Just wow! Oh also I love how the developers actually respond usually games have this thing where they only say a few things if it’s a bad review they say something along the lines of “sorry you didn’t enjoy this game please contact us to help us resolve some issues” and if it’s a good review… we’ll you get it. Anyway my point is scrolling through the reviews I was amazed! I saw developer that actually have emotion and effort put into them! And out of the 30,000 reviews this game had almost %0.1 bad views! Just amazing keep up the good work!

Incredible. Just incredible. ARK is one of those games where you can’t rely on your own head the whole time. You need fast, organized, and accurate information for all sorts of things. Dododex delivers this exactly. Not only am I able to figure out what kind of creatures of what level can be tamed and bred with what food and how long, but I can see organized categories of each category, how well they can harvest each resource, what they drop, and so so much more. Even better, it has a resource calculator and resource maps, and I can figure out exactly how much of a material I need, and where I can find it. No more will I have to get killed 20 times before I figure out where I need to go. No more will my baby dinos die under wrong conditions. I have everything here with this app.

Great but needs small work. Like I said, great app. Has helped me a lot with many of my taming adventures. One thing I would like though is a filter for comments in the “tips” section. I play mobile and therefore need info specifically for mobile, and I use the “ark mobile” filter when looking at Dino’s, but when I read comments I see so many comments relating directly to the pc or console versions, and I don’t k ow what to do on mobile. I would like the ability to choose what kind of comments I see, like whether or not I want to see comments regarding mobile versus comments regarding pc. This would be of great help because it allows me to gain the info I need without having to spend near as much time looking for said comments.

Extremely Helpful/ Everything you need for taming. This app is awesome. It is free and you can view everything you will need. It shows the best food for max taming effectiveness if you care about high levels, and it shows you how long it will take to tame and what you need to knock the animal out. Addition information such as what materials the animal can break, high or low torpor, item drops, if it can be trapped with a bola... etc and what rank the animal is at harvesting materials. There is also information on breeding and incubation periods. The times for taming etc are mostly accurate. The app normally suggests amounts that are higher than what is needed, but better to be safe than sorry XD.

Love the app!. All in all, this app is a true life saver. I could always go to the wiki page, but this is much faster and convenient. My only problem I’ve had with it so far is the starve timer is a little inaccurate. I was doing 130 beaver tame and the starve time said almost an hour and a half. But I got bored at 40 and put the food in then and it tamed up with plenty of food left to go. I did change a lot of tiny settings with my Ark for convenience, so I’m not sure if that might have interfered with it. If so, do you know what settings I can change so that it’s accurate? Ark Dododex Great App!. Hello! Don’t generally write reviews (literally never). Though as an avid gamer & die hard fan of Ark/Conan etc. felt like giving a shoutout to this one! Recently have been getting back into Ark. and figured I’d give this app a try. As otherwise I’d be constantly referring to wikis. Dododex has been a game changer. It’s nice, & really convenient to have a dedicated game Database/Codex/Compodium. That said, keep up the good work! This one’s a def keeper! Such a better solution over having to constantly refer to online wikis! Absolutely great job devs! Look forward to seeing this app in action(am currently reinstalling Ark on my consoles!)

Literally almost so close to being perfect.. This app has near everything you need for taming, tracking, and SLAUGHTERING the Dinos of your choice. It has every creature to date and subsections for each map. It also has the cheats and item ids ready for you cheaters. BUT it lacks my most required feature: Creature colour ids and the colour ids period. I am one of the aforementioned cheaters and I love to swap my Dino’s colours like god. But this app doesnt have that. This overall does not matter to most people but for me it is a minor letdown. Either way 5 stars all. The. Way. Good job dude. Excellent quality. 👍

Get this app if you need info for all things Dino. This app has helped me with so much. It tells you what you need to use to tame a Dino, what it eats, the area of space needs to fit it through a gap in a wall, if it can walk through a door, what it can do, how long it takes to tame it, and what it drops if you kill it (there’s more but these are some main ones).The Tip section is especially useful as others can share their experiences with the Selected Dino and give helpful advice. I recommend this app to anyone who needs help with the Dinosaurs on ark or if you need to see what they drop. Good luck! Keep up the good work Dan!

Great but ads are killing it. I have used this app for years now and I love it, but here recently I can’t really use it much anymore. Anytime I’m doing something, no matter what it is, when the ad at the bottom changes, the app kinda restarts. For instance, if I’m looking at the kibble chart, it will change back to the last Dino I was looking at, or if I’m reading on the tips and the ad changes, it will scroll all the way to the top which makes me have to scroll back down and find where I was at, just for it to do it again. I know you can buy the ad free version, but I’ve never had it do this before and I don’t think it should. The only thing I can really use this app for is the see how much kibble a Dino needs real quick before the app changes on me by itself. I wrote this in hope this can be fixed because I love the app and I see the devs actually read these comments and reply back to most people’s concerns. Thanks guys and if you can get it fixed, I will gladly bump this up to a five star!!!

Great app!. Dododex is always there for me. If you find an egg and dont know if it makes kibble you need, all you need to do is quickly go to dododex and type in the dino the egg comes from and there! You know what type of kibble the egg will make and then you can keep it or leave it if it’s not worth carrying! Dododex is not only good for that, there’s other stuff, too. When I find a good level dino I just swap to dododex and see how much tranqs it will require to tame. It also has a tips area where users can submit their tips and you can upvote them so others can read those tips! Overall a great app, obviously your best choice for an all-around Ark companion!

Has grown immensely. I had this app a long time ago and I have to say I wasn’t impressed, so much so that I deleted it and went in to another app. Had I know that it was built by one person I would have given it more time though, and here’s why. THIS APP IS BEAUTIFUL, compared to how it used to be and compared to the other ark companion apps out there this is easily the most best looking app of them all. Also, and this is a big problem with the other apps, this app is smooth and reliable. I haven’t had any problems with it so far and compared to the glitchyness of the other apps it brings me enough joy to wright a review. 10/10 to the person making this, it’s far better than the other ark apps👍👌

The biggest bacon saver for Ark players. Whether on mobile, PC, or console this app has all the information any Ark player new or old needs to progress and survive efficiently. This app allows players to bypass the lore grind and get all the information they need on every Dino and hidden craft without finding explorer notes or Rockwell recipes. On top of that, this app offers a fully customizable calculator for gaming and breeding that will tell you exactly what you need to take or breed any animal and exactly how long it will take. A must-have for solo players (just remember to turn on single player mode in the settings) and a great tool for anybody looking to play Ark a little more efficiently. You get to laugh at all the funny tips people leave as well! 10/10 great app.

DodoDex. I’ve never reviewed an app before because I’ve never actually felt it was needed. This is a unique situation. This is a fantastic app, all around. Incredibly accurate and reliable, absolutely no login or personal data required, and very few ads to complete the picture. It is honestly necessary to players of Ark. Using the online version is helpful but the app is more comprehensive and chock full of features. I can visit the wiki page to check color regions for my breeding while setting an in-app timer for 5 minutes before a starve tame is completed, all while checking to make sure the however much time needed to tame this creature is worth it due to its random stats. Keep updating it, absolutely fantastic app!

This is amazing but has yet to meet its full potential.... Dododex is amazing, the people that make the tips, the fanfictioners on there, the helpfulness of the calculators, and what recipes and helps there are are awesome. It’s helpful if you want to tame, breed, kill, or otherwise interact with animals on ark. It’s even prelinked into the the ark mobile game so when you are looking at an animal there’s a button that switches apps over to dododex. That in and of itself in my opinion is far and beyond the duty the dododex creator even asked for by creating such an app and shows his determination to help ark players and geeks alike. However to reach its full potential it would be good for him to start putting in other features like resource calculators, or overviews about different things like supply drops, animal drops, or artefact rewards instead of giving links to the wiki where we have to dig through it to find this stuff bc it’s not readily accessible. That is the only thing that the Survive ARK Companion has over Dododex. In everything else Dododex completely outpaces it’s competition. So please start putting those in place because if you did... instead of being just a unfinished gem... it would become a resplendent and priceless gem.

Awesome, but needs a few things.. I love this app, whether to tame a creature, or to see its tips. But there’s a few problems. 1. There is no way to see what happened to your tip, like how many likes it had and stuff. I just feel like half the time my tip doesn’t exist, but it could be quite popular. 2. It’s so unfortunate that the word limit is so low on mobile. I try to write a story, but the limit is always exceeds and I have to cut a major section of the story. 3. I don’t think that this is directly dododex’s fault, but I was spelling a dinos name, but it autocorrected to something else, and my comment was apparently inappropriate. Kind of annoying, but I could live with it. But still, nice app!

Great app but one issue. What I love about this app is it’s near 100% accuracy during taming (b cause server lag can affect it in rare cases) The issues I have with this app are that when passing the time. If I close the app at any time. It will destroy the torpor timer. So when I reopen it. I’ll find it has 2 minutes left when in reality the torpor is near max and has about an hour of torpor. This can cause unnecessary stress for most people and needs to be fixed. At the time of writing this the app is outdated by about 3 months. So if you’re looking for accuracy in the map system or I’m torpor (fire wolfs have changed) you might want to look into another source. But overall it gets the job done and is reliable In 99.9% or cases as long as the app remains open at all times

This game is Better than any video or website I have seen. This game, I can’t believe it’s real, something like this is AMAZING! I have been using this really for the creatures, and this has been really helpful for me, I can go on and tell you all reasons why this is so helpful to me, but I’ll keep it short. I would also want to say, could you maybe add the other DLC’s that you haven’t added yet, and, this is a HUGE request, but can you add creatures from different mods? If this can’t be done, I don’t care, this app is great already, and I would HIGHLY recommend this game to any ark player. Thank you for an awesome game!

AMAZING app, but one small problem.... So this app is REALLY good at helping you (especially since I don’t know very munch about ark). this app can tell you about what you need to tame, how much you need, and how long it will take. There is one problem though and that’s why I’m writing this review. When you are taming a Dino, it gives you four things you can use to keep the Dino knocked out while taming, but there are other options to keep it knocked out like clubbing it, punching it, and shooting it with tranq related ammo. This is annoying because you can’t substitute the tranq ammo with something like narcotics and I just shoot my knocked out tame with tranq darts most of the time and it screws up the torpor timer that’s on the app. It would be nice to add other options to up the torpor on the app so the torpor timer stays correct. If the devs of this app read this please take it into consideration

Great companion. I just got started with ark on pc and I’d seen a few people mention using it so I figured I’d see what it was all about. It works great, has lots of info on all dinos in the game (that I’m aware of) and the specific stats of each level of a dino, a bit of info in a breeding tab, what they’re affected by, (bola, lassos, etc.) what types of structure they can damage, what they can be pick up by, even what size hole in a wall they can fit through, community tips on the dino, and each dino gets a star rating on what resources it can harvest, plus other little things. Great app, absolutely recommend to anyone who’s plays ark on any platform Edit: just a side note this app does require internet connection just a heads up I didn’t know that when I got it

I love the app but one big thing.... The app is amazing and I use it a lot but every time I get on the app and scroll around on anything at all it randomly (every 3 seconds to every 10 minutes) teleports my page back to the same original page I opened the app on. I’m trying to still use the app but it’s really hard too. I reinstalled but nothing changed. I would love this fixed. I don’t think it’s a problem with my phone because my phone has never had this problem before. Would love some help on this or a patch from devs, thanks! Edit: Thanks for the response Don, for some reason the problem solved itself, so maybe just wait a week or so for the problem to disappear?

Pauses music - Being Fixed. Was listening to music, and when I opened the app it pauses the music. I listen to music a lot when playing ark (Especially because I was in a airport terminal, with loud people, before I was randomly selected for 2nd security screening. Then on the plane it is a A380, so it was kind of loud as I was on the lower deck at the window.) Please try to fix the music being paused. Other than that, great app! Developer responded saying they will fix it. Updated review to 5 stars. Also my trip to Germany to see my family was great! Unfortunately I couldn’t use this app in the plane as we aren’t rich enough to afford the WiFi. Another mention: Didn’t see this before, but know when in ARK, if I need information about something there is a Dododex button! Very helpful as it also opens it to the very exact page I need. Another reason as to why people should get this app.

Use this with Ark it’s probably the best choice you can make. Playing Ark without this app is a monumental difference. It will save you an incredible amount of time and resources. The only bad thing would be that you aren’t surprised by creatures you encounter as much and moments when you get a large creature to chase you and your friends or nearly kill you with few swipes as you run and scream for your life can be fun to look back on. But for sure this is an essential app for so many things in the Ark. I’ve never had a bad experience with the app.

Absolutely necessary. If you play Ark, you probably already use this. If you don’t, you probably need it. This comprehensive guide includes taming calculators, Torpor Timers, and a wealth of data, tips, and guides. I cannot go a single game without this. Seriously, Some of the stuff on here can’t be found on the wiki, and if it is, it has links to the wiki to show you. It has neat little animations for the way it shows how big a gap your Dino can fit through. Huge props for the guy who made this. This application has saved me so many headaches. Its pretty good just some stuff isnt explained to wells. So I really don't got many complaints about this app other than that for some creatures (usually if the creature is higher lvl) the amount of tranqs it would take to knock something out seem to be inaccurate also that it wasn't explained too well that you have to remove whatever food (it picks kibble for you) it has chosen and put in the food your actually using to tame said creature. Other than these two complaints nothing else comes to mind complaint wise but i do have a suggestion for a feature which I'm not sure how tough it would be to implement but i think It’d be a good idea to be able to track multiple Dino's at the same time assuming your taming multiple things at once. Anyway it’s a great app.

What an Awesome App!. Hey Mr Dan Leville! I really love your app, and I think that it is unique among the Ark: Survival Evolved taming helpers. But the ads are kinda mean. Not that they don’t deserve to be there, but they reset the page, or go back to the last page you were on, when they reset. That kinda bums me out. Please fix sometime! I don’t know when, because I know you are super busy Mr Dan! Besides that one teeny-tiny feature, the app is good overall! The ads also hardly take up any space on the page. Something else is that there is a Specific Kibble instead of a basic kibble or extraordinary kibble for a creature not in Ark Mobile. I don’t know how that happened; it’s not soo bad though! When I first started playing the Ark Game with the dinosaurs I thought that I would need to get through the game all by myself. But with your app, I didn’t need to! The app also showed me info on creatures I had seen but not known about too much. The tips are nice as well, but people swear a lot. Like the f word, sh*t, crap, I even saw ni*g*r once. Couple questions. I’m confused why there are so many kibble in some of dinos like the velonasaur because I thought they changed kibble. I’m asking mostly since this is a new kibble system and I’m not sure how it works completely yet. Another question I have is does the new kibble work more efficient than the old kibble cuz I noticed some of timers went down by a lot ,for instance the giga when it required quetzal kibble it took 2 hrs and 13 mins roughly but since your app introduced new kibble the timer went down to 1 hr 59 mins I would love to know before I make unnecessary items or fall short. Asides my boring questions love the app.

Vast Info Base. This is a great tool for those of us who really get into the survive alone mode of play. Every RPG seems to favor fighting (PVP) over fighting the elements, topography and wildlife always on the hunt for people size snacks! Dododex provides a full guide to the beasts w/req. food for taming, tips on surviving chance meetings, and other helpful-interesting facts making ARK the best game for exploration, Dino pets, cave living and water conservation as well as farming. With Dododex easy to access it makes a huge difference in gameplay as life in the Dino age would have been extremely difficult. I use my old iPad to keep Dododex open beside me as I adventure so Dino’s are better known & can be approached w/greater confidence. Or killed for food w/o my being their dinner!

A Necessity for Ark Players. This app is consistently up to date on the latest updates, it is about as accurate as can be with Ark’s numbers so you know what you’re getting into before taming or breeding your tames, and it has features that allow other players to add input to the app like giving more data or just giving tips to other players. Its super useful, I probably pull this out every ten minutes while playing. Sure, you could play without this app, but why would you? Everything is sooo much easier with this and with how wild and buggy Ark is that’s really important.

The Best. This is the best Ark app. One stop shop. I almost never even use the wiki anymore. The only thing that could finish it out would be location maps for all the creatures. Love the new update! Edit: They added maps to see the creature spawns. I absolutely love it, and cannot recommend it enough! EDIT: After more than 4 years, this app has only gotten better! Thank you so much! Edit: It’s now 2023 and they have finally fixed the maps to sync with the new wiki for Ark. They have all the creatures, and the links work great. Thank you for this amazing app! Still the best app for Ark. 10/5 stars!

My favorite. Hey bro, this is my favorite app for Ark: Survival Evolved. Your app has helped so much and I mean it. You can ask anyone (anyone with a brain anyways) and they’ll say it is very helpful. It is a great app and I don’t only speak for myself but many other people. You probably won’t see this comment anyways, but if you do know that you have improved my gameplay experience so much and wildcard has no clue how much you’ve done for them. Some people might think “oh it’s just an app for info nothin special” but without this app I’d probably be stuck in the dirt in ark. Your app has improved ark for me so much and I don’t know if I’d even play it if it weren’t for this app, and I love ark to DEATH. Dododex how good is it?. I got to say Dododex is good I mean it’s helped me out a lot with taming and making new recipes and when I forgot how to make something Dododex just tells you how to do it only takes a few seconds maybe a few minutes to find out what your after rather then going to yt and getting 2 ads and the vid being over a year long Dododex is simple ane quick to use

I am a starter in ark so I live on a beach ya know safest place in ark but in single player no English sever so I have lots of dodos I named lots of them the names that you said in Dododex like pile of free meat 🥩😂 anyways I am not leaving the beach cause I am really 8years old I do not play ark much anymore and I tell my dad to download Dododex to find a new dinosaur 🦖 but he already has like 100 Rex and his sever is called jawbreakers he has the abmiration zone under his base too 👍🦖🥩😃😋 AND LOTS OF EMOGIS love ya god bless

Must have tool. Best buddy for your ark experience, for both new and veteran players. Not super needed, but I’d love to see a Dino color region feature, preferably with the ability to have a look at different Color’s on 3D rendered Dino’s, or if that was too hard atleast a picture of each Dino with a prominent color in each region so players can better see what region affects what area.

Extremely useful app. I’ve been using this app for a while and I find it to be one of the most useful apps I have every time I knock out a Dino I use it to check its stats and see how long it will take to tame you should 100% get it

If only I knew 3,000 hours earlier. Playing Ark for my first 3,000 hours I tried to avoid aids and information, occasionally watching often misinformed tutorials. Using Dododex, I feel like I accomplish 5x as much in any day of gaming than I did before. The name also sits well with 90’s kid in me ☺️

Everything you need it’s amazing!. I always hate having to constantly google ideas for this and that and having a million tabs open but with this site it’s so easy to just type in something and it has all the information you need. I also love that people can leave their suggestions and comments and it’s just super helpful!

Dododex rating. I would of given it a five star but there is one issue of the amount of food required to tame a creature is off by a lot. I understand it would be about impossible to get the number perfect but I have found it to be way off. Anyway it’s a great app and that’s the only issue I have with it

The most useful ark companion app. Dododex is incredibly useful it tells you how many trans you will need for taming, the food you need for taming and the narcotics you need for taming as well as telling you kibble recipes, dye recipes and everything else!

Best app for ark 🤩. I’ve been using this since I’ve started and I’ve been taming everything that I find useful. It can be hard to use sometimes because it doesn’t get the right answers sometimes. Amazing. It has categories for everything including if you’re on Ark mobile and it is very easy to navigate all the options along with a map that shows you where dinos are along with if you can tame them and how common they are in the area 10/10 love it!

Perfect. This app is perfect, some Dino's eat some pretty weird food. Like spoiled meat. The only way I could find out what to give a Dino. This app makes the game 10x easier I 100%recommend this app without it I’d be stuck with a low level Dino and weak tames because I wouldn’t know how to tame some. The manta I was confused with because I thought it was a knockout tame not a passive tame.

Amazing tool. Dododex is the Pokédex of ARK Survival Evolved. It’s got information on every dino in the game and allows for tips from other players with experience. However, I have found that the game lacks in some areas of information that I try to research, such as locations for dinos, materials or terrains. Other things like recipes, engrams and blueprints have limited info. Otherwise a great app with a lot of information which can be accessed by the touch of a button. Amazing work, love to see new features later on.

Really good, especially on offical. This is really good for official servers with the taming times but even in single player it’s good for figuring out how many darts you’ll need

Amazing!. Really good, helpful app! Must have taken days to create and I have used it ever since I first started playing ark. Can we start to update the pictures for the Dino’s? A couple of the Dino’s went through a TLC update and look better, have different abilities and stats. Other than that absolutely amazing!!!

Nice. Love it can’t think of anything to improve except a mobile setting. You can change taming speed to 1.75 which is pretty much the perfect value for mobile users although it would be good if you could turn a ‘mobile version’ on and only creatures on mobile would show up. That would make it so much better and more people ca use it

Great app. It’s a great app I love it so much and it’s helped me on ark. I highly recommend it for all ark players (especially mobile) but I’m usually listening to music when I open this app and it turns my music off...if that could be fixed I would give it a 5/5! Legendary app though ❤️😊

Amazing. Just a bit out dated. Amazing it’s a must have for beginners to pros Sad to say its in need of an update the lost island map needs a bit more info and I noticed the net gun hasn’t got a spot on traps page ie bowler and bear trap affect different Dino’s But still an amazing app and have been using it for over 2 years now

Great App!. So helpful and informative, my go to every couple of minutes when I play! And some super hilarious member comments too if you want a good lil laugh just read through some tips and comments!

Maewing carry babies. It should display the Maewing should be able to pick up animals (As a baby like the procroptodon (Kangaroo)) This would be a great help as I often forget what the maewing can carry in its saddle.

Ideas. I have a couple of ideas for the app that would make it so much better. 1. Add a crafting guide for all the crafting recipes. 2. Add a resource drop rate calculator so we know how much each dino or tool harvests for the least amount and greatest amount at level 1 for dinos. 3. Add a noob, intermediate and advanced section for dino taming so noobs don’t get walloped by dinos and higher rank don’t tame unnecessary dinos for advancing. 4. Add a mobile quest guide or guidelines like a difficulty rewards and objective to complete each quest. 5. A map for the different ark maps with each different thing e.g. explorer note locations, obelisk locations, where the dinos spawn and how rare they are, good spots to build a base and etc. 6.Base guide e.g. how to make it look nice and what the different building parts health, what can damage it, what you need to craft it. If you can tell me if these are good ideas that will be appreciated.

Great app, a suggestion and a question.. First of all, this app is nothing if not impressive. The sheer loyalty and devotion that it takes to create an app of good quality for one specific game is amazing, especially by one person. This app is also really easy to use and contains most of the information you need to play ARK, and what it lacks is made up for by the wiki. I can’t think of any major problems that would cause me to lower my review, however, most of the animals don’t have much information about them in general, and it’s a bit inconvenient to keep going through the tips until you find what you’re looking for, especially when it’s just simple information like where you find them. It would be great if you could add a small ‘basic info’ page below all of the taming data in the info section, which could include where to find them, what people (could?) use them for and a bit about them. Finally, the question: Will Dododex update to contain information from ARK 2 when it releases? All in all, thanks for your great app and cheers.

Good of the game. This app is really helpful and have help me prepare for taming breeding and even bosses with the easy to see system I highly recommend this app for ark Survival Evolved

Suggestions. 1. Add a scale for the Dino’s size compared to player, 2. Add a recepie area for crafting, dyes and food. 3. Add an option to switch to details for ARK mobile, as I play ark on my iPad and the app is saying for example 200 berries for a parasaur, but it is much less. Though a very useful app, I would be over the moon if you could add suggestion 2 and 3, especially 3.

Insanely helpful. This app is an absolute godsend when it comes to Ark guides. It’s so useful being able to see not only how much kibble it will take to tame a creature, but also the amount of darts to knock it out, whether it will need narcotics, how good the stats are etc etc. The benefits are limitless and the negatives are few and far between 11/10 amazing app :)

Structure’s. Is it possible that we can see damage to structures like how many C4 it would take to take down a metal wall or how many stone hatchet hits it would take to destroy a thatch foundation. Overall it’s the best guid I’ve seen for ark easy to use and understand.

Good game just a couple thing should work. Really good with helping me tame the dinos, but you should add like a my dinos V his/hers dinos and add in alphas and prime alphas as well. You should also put down where the Dinos are more common. I know this will take a lot of effort put it should make it better

A bit buggy but helps a lot. Timers can be glitchy. But other than that most stuff work correctly. Just grab a bit more than what it says because for us it said 200 tranqs. We used 300 and almost lost our lvl 95 giga we were taming. Had 1 tranq left as it knocked out.

An idea. If of all I would just like to say I could not ply ark without this app! I have a simple idea where you have a separate page and you could add the dinos you have and you can add their level and stats as well as other tribes dinos so u can keep track, you could ask have mutations and other thing you need to remember. As someone who loves this app I think it would be beneficial! Mia x

Good Dino data giver. It gives tame times what is and isn’t in the game it even tells you how many tranq arrows and darts and others you need to knock out Dino’s

Actual good game. This game is a grind based game but still is very fun (and best grind game in my opinion)

Tips. Great app but sometimes people will write completely useless tips like for rock drakes one said “rock drakes need a saddle to ride” and “rock drakes will eat food”. A better reviewing system for tips would be great, but overall amazing app. 👍👍👍

Good. If you play ark and just want to read funny stories or names for Dino then this is the app for you, I guess it helps with taming.

W. Goated app!

One of the most useful apps for ark. It’ll save you so much damn trouble when trying to figure out how long it will take to tame, if you need to feed it narcotics, what you should feed it. ECT. It even tells you what options are best for gathering tames, though it would be nice if it gave you the default options for those who haven’t u locked Scorched or Ragnarok. Other than that little piece it’s an almost essential app, for all the reasons above.

iPhone 14 pro max Slow. I’ve recently installed and am noticing very slow frame rates when transitioning menus Reply- startup is fine. But once I swipe from left side to go to other menus that’s when I’m noticing slow animations. As if the apps lowering the screen rate Apologies not sure how to reply only to edit this review.

Use this everyday. Been playing Ark for years (pvp official) and use this app everyday. It’s a must have app for beginners and experienced players. Dino taming is so much easier as you can set timers to know when to feed them when starve taming and just exact requirements and how much time it will take. Recipes are all there so no need to remember them and it explains what they do for beginners.

I love this app. I have recently started playing ark on a private server and this app helps me a lot even though private servers make the egg hatch and Dino maturity timers unusable everything else on this app is helpful especially because I can set filters on searches so I know what Dino’s are on the map I’m playing on. Love this app keep up the great work

Great app. This is by far the most helpful ark related app I have seen yet, it’s has all the info you’ll need on every creature you’d want info on. It’s incredibly organized and easy to use as well, it even lets you plug in other info such as your own tame multipliers etc.. Definitely recommend picking it up!!

Love it, but I could love it even more. Countless times on my 1x servers Dododex has saved me in many issues. And even though you can set certain setting for boosted or lowered servers. It doesn’t fully help out all that lot with things, some Dino’s are instant tames on my 15x server but it doesn’t pop up that way on dododex, after taming animals receive an extra 150 levels regardless, and it isn’t accurate when I go for the max level Dino’s in my server ( lvl 240 max wild) so maybe add a few more advanced settings to adjust the templates for other servers furthermore?

Dodo Dex. Dodo Dex is great for any Ark player. A must have.

Discrepancy. The app and the site do not match, the same Dino’s give different taming times on the same multiplier settings makes it hard to be certain what info to follow plus app doesn’t show option for elixir, will update review when this is fixed if it gets fixed

Absolute necessity. Ark would be unplayable without this gem of an app

Expected more to be honest. Everything is great for the most part. But the one thing I downloaded it for absolutely sucks and has no point of being there. The map section shows absolutely nothing when I look for specific things. It’s great to use a just that, a map if you don’t have yours completed, other than that useless

Helps me with so much stuff. Dododex is so helpful it’s the reason I know how to raise a magmasaur and what to feed amargasaurs to tame them, if you need an app to help you on your ark journey this is that app

Bugs.. When I try to scroll through the Dino’s list it closes to a green page with a white back box and unless I specifically look up one Dino it won’t open correctly. I tried to follow this to train tames in the official server but they woke up and use more narcotics then said. Level 5 pelagorn (sorry for spelling error) said no narc but I needed 20 to keep the big bird down. Also idk if you can do anything about this but the map for explorer notes can’t be zoomed in and isn’t very high rez. It makes it hard to tell where the notes are.

Amazing!. I’ve used Dododex since I first got into Ark around 2017 and I haven’t stopped! While there have been minor bugs here and there Dan is always on it which is awesome! All the features are awesome and I’ve recommended it to everyone I’ve played with, even to the point where if someone goes afk for awhile it’s just known they are trying to get stats entered on the app! Just gonna share some tips here! On the app you can enter your weapons damage % and it’ll calculate how many shots it’ll take to KO, you can even save it along with saving your tribe mates weapons so you can help them out! The recipes tabs have pretty much anything you need to find that the game doesn’t tell you! The tips section, while hectic w/ jokes, can easily find tips with the filter! Love the app and keep it up! Must have Ark app. The app is an overall must have if you plan to play Ark whether it be derivatively, or casual. The specific details your can get based on your server savings helps you produce the just the right amount of necessary items to avoid being underhanded/unprepared. The app also covers details that the game doesn’t mention, like kibble breakdowns. The UI is simple enough to understand easily, and they are tips put in by actual players who share their own experiences and guidance.

Amazing, blew my mind. I LOVE this I didn't know any of what to feed Dino’s and how long it would take and how much food I needed. This helped especially on rock elementals and eqquses because those take a long time to tame. I can’t count the amount I have used this. This really helps when I’m roaming on extinction and I see a Dino I want to tame. There are so many perks about this app.i couldn’t figure out the consumable or kibble recipes, I think I’m just over thinking it though because the rest of this app is so simple.

Currently Unuseable. I would love to give a 5 star review due to the fact that I love the app and have used it since I first started playing ARK, however, there’s an issue that causes the app to refresh every few seconds. Each time the app refresh’s it takes you back to the last Dino you were looking at. At first I thought it was an issue being caused by the adds changing, so I purchased PRO as an attempt to fix the problem and eliminate the adds (Plus I wanted to support an amazing app!). However after purchasing the pro upgrade the problem still persists.

A great app for all ark players. If your looking for the perfect app for taming, item drop, etc. from the various maps of the arks look no further. I’ve been using this app since before the arrival of scorched earth and I’ve loved its resourcefulness across all maps. The best part is if a new map it’s out it seems like the hard working people for this app have info out within the week or so of map release.

Great app,. Hi, I am not 100% sure because I have just started using the app on multiple devices. I play ark on mobile, and I use a tablet for dododex. therefore I have no clue if you tap on the icon what would happen. Most of the time I think it will take me to dododex, so I don’t tap it. I personally don’t know if it opens a popup menu IN ark, or if it moves me to the app, which I do not have downloaded on my phone. Could you clarify this for me?

Great, but Aberration taming times wrong. I’ve been using this app since I’ve started playing almost 2 years ago. It is a necessary app to tame and breed dinos. I have recently got into aberration and noticed that some of the taming times are off for the dinos that have other map counterparts. My aberrant spino took almost twice as long than the app said. My advice is to watch the food amount and wait until it is at the amount it says instead of watching the starve timer. Creatures native to this map does not have this same issue.

Small issue. I don’t know if everyone else is struggling with this but when I open any of the maps of the arks it shows a bunch of squares for like resources or like a huge blank slate and then an empty map. I have tried redownloading the app and restarting my phone multiple times. This is yet only a small issue I have with the app and thats all. Overall a Great and very helpful app that has constantly help me progress through my own gameplay. Thank you for your time and consideration.

REALLY GOOD. i don’t like typing a bunch so here goes..... i got this app a while ago and i still use it! i use it every time i play ARK and it’s super helpful! it’s helps me with finding names of dino’s or animals and telling me about them and what they eat. it’s helped me tame dino’s countless times and i wouldn’t have half the animals i do without it! it helped me almost tame a wyvern but then i got killed by another dino :( BUT ANYWAYS I REALLY RECCOMEND THIS APP!!!!! it’s SUPER helpful and awesome!!! thanks for the great app Dan! <3

Very helpful!!!. I just got this app and I LOVE it, I have been playing ark for a little while now and it is hard and confusing (but still amazing 🤩), this app helps so much! It tells you what world certain Dino’s are in, it tells the best way to tame them it also helps with how to make kibble and more! Best tool for ark. In my years of experience playing ark, nothing has helped me more, than Dododex. I have played since the game was in early access, and always had an issue figuring oit how much stuff I needed for taming and ko on creatures. Then my life became so much was after this came along. It occasionally bugs out and gives me wrong numbers, but that’s only happened 3 times, in my 4 years of using it. 10/10, would and have recommended this to a friend.

Great App.. This app is everything you need as a new player, returning player or even a veteran! I’ve been playing since 2017 and always use this app for kibble recipes, stew recipes and to estimate how many tranqs i need for my tame. This app can also calculate your dinos stats and decide whether they are good. very useful to check after knocking out tames. (only use stat calculator on wild dinos, NOT tamed.) The app also shows the capabilities of each dino, such as what they can break which can be super useful when figuring out what trap design to use. Dododex also has a ranking system that is quick and easy to use, it shows what dino/tool is best for any job and is an easy way to know what to tame for the job. Dododex is a 5-Star app and is very impressive, I would definitely recommend.

A Must Have. So firstly, I don’t write many reviews, but I’ve been playing ark since launch. The minute I found out about Dododex it became installed on my device. I’ve consulted this app so many times and countless times it’s kept me prepared for any tame situation. Including nice tips from the community about how to do certain things, easy tame ideas, solo tame ideas, utilizing the Dino. Everything! So I say, definitely don’t get caught with your pants down and be unprepared for your next taming session

Best App for Ark Mobile. I know you are a one man team which is crazy, I have to give you your props. This app is amazing it lets you know every small detail about the Dino’s you want to tame such as, its favorite food, how long it will take with certain food, how much of that food you need, how much narcotic for it and the list goes on and on. There is simply one thing that I ask for and I doubt you will this but can you please add a map to dododex that shows the most common spots of where these Dino’s spawn for mobile and pc.

Fantastic App. The Dododex is just about everything you need for Ark in one convenient place. I would highly recommend it to any avid Ark player (and I have). The layout is great and easy to use, the timers are SO convenient, and the ability to favorite certain things makes it that much easier to use. The only suggestion I would make at this moment would be to add spawn maps for resources and dinos (as that’s the only thing I can’t use the app for).

U need this if u play ark. Love it. After reading the Reddit post and finding out this is just one developer.. Dan’s the man!! I legit thought this was an app that Ark/Wildcard developed (never even thought to look once I downloaded it). So the amount of work that is done for all the updates (pretty darn quickly I might add) and keeping everything so accurate, is just awesome. Great app!! I’ll probably go pro soon because this app is worth it and I want to make sure that the developer knows that we appreciate him!! Keep up the good work!!

Ark players best friend. Dododex is extremely helpful to any ark player. I have a few (thousand) hours in ark and whenever I want to tame something I don’t remember well, I just check Dododex. But what’s better is actually the Dododex built in stat calculator. You can use it to check the number of points in a wild creatures stats, so if the 150 giga you just knocked has 1 point melee 50 in oxygen you can save your kibble for a different one, for example. And it’s just nice knowing what it’s distribution is compared to the average. TLDR: Dododex is great

The best companion for ARK. This app or companion calculator is very useful for playing ARK. Because at first all I knew was how to craft the primitive tier and how to tame a dodo 🦤. I basically knew nothing but after I got this app I knew how to do everything. The game became super easy to play and ever since I got this app. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who plays ARK. All the knowledge you need. It’s in the title, it’s helped me through my 5 years of playing. If I didn’t know what kibble or how to make said kibble I’d always go “hang on lemme just dododex it” it’s helpful and the people crying about Xbox no longer having 4x as of right now are trying to ruin this for others. (I play Xbox official. Just a heads up because I can see the comments now “You don’t play official, you don’t know what it’s like waaaah.”) It’s supposed to be a grind not a cakewalk. KEEP ON ARKING AND DO YOUR BEST, Be the best survivor you can be with this app!

My personal opinion. It’s been very helpful especially because I’m new to Ark: Survival Evolved. It’s helped me tame Dinosaurs/creatures and also taught me the best way to eliminate those Dinosaurs/creatures. It’s help me cook recipes, find materials for building/crafting, and gave me the location of were supply drops land. The community is friendly, helpful, and funny. Overall it’s a great app and I suggest this to all ages, pros, and noobs. But I think other people and you might enjoy the app if you play the game. Thank you for reading this and I hope it helps(;

Great app but one issue. So the whole app is great i wouldn't know single thing about ark if i didn't have this app so thank you very much for creating such a useful app. Now my problem is when i go to the "Maps" section and then select what i want being resource creature or explore map the video/add at the top keeps trying to play when i need to look at the map and every tile i close it out it pops back up. - Your most loyal user

Forge Suggestion. Love the app, but I have a suggestion. Is there a way to make a section for a forge calculator to math out how many of what type of fuel you'll need kinda like how much food you'll need for the tames. I realized many fuels have different burntimes and there's a time for how long metal takes to burn and gasoline and such. It's simple to math out with smaller numbers, but later on when you start bringing 3000 metal back a trip the math is slightly difficult. Especially if you want to put the exact amount of fuel you need in so you don't waste.

Great tool. I just recently started playing ark and this app has been super helpful for taming creatures. It gives you all kinds of information on food types that dinosaurs will eat and if you put in the dino’s level it will calculate how much food and narcotics you need. Something that could improve this app would be a section talking about where a creature can be found but I know that would be a lot of work. Great app nonetheless

This app helped me so much! HUGE THANKS!!. I’ve had God Console on Single Player, but my Mom gave me a new account and deleted Ark but I got it back, and God Console along with all my tames, (Including Giggles the Giga, Pretzel the Quetzal, Capin Amurica the Quetzal, and my griffins and other good tames.) And then I got this and it made my YEAR. I realized I didn’t need God Console when I felt helpless at first. Also I was alpha/beta on multiple servers. But this got my rank back! Dododex is very good and underrated. Ark AND Dododex are 2 really underrated things and When I wanna tame a very very VERY high lvl griffin I must know how much kibble it will take (I’m talking about ark mobile) and if I wanna tame a giga or max lvl saber this app really helps and keeps me from doing anything stupid like picking the WORST thing to tame it with or forgetting narcs or the cannon balls when trying to tame a Titan ( IT HAPPENED ONE TIME AND NOW ALL MY TRIBE MATES HATE ME) sad but anyway Like I said ark is a very good game and it should get much more attention than it has

Best App for Ark Ever Dan!. The app has helped me for over 1000 times. I have played ark for 3 years and Dododex really helped and I knew the levels, and what food to get and where to get it. I am taking a baryonyx right now and I use this app way too much, because It is helpful to me. When the button to launch Dododex was added I was so relived.I would leave then open it and reopen it when I was done. You are the best person ever Dan! Thank you so much!

Great!. I have ARK on multiple platforms, and I always end up having to look something up on my phone for a quick refresher on a dino. I saw this app, looked through its reviews and saw how the developer was so involved in responding and getting things fixed for everybody. I downloaded and it’s such a nice app! Everything is nicely categorized, easy to find, extremely easy to use. And, with his latest version, I’m even more highly impressed. I will be recommending this app to other people.

Best ARK reference app!!. Dododex in my opinion is the best ARK reference app you can get. It includes everything from maps to breeding calculators it has helped me a lot in ARK and has grown on me as a survivor of the ARK. Dododex is great but I have one problem, I have tried to use the creature map and it hasn’t showed me where the animals are only the rarity, but that is all I have to say. Overall Dododex has helped me a lot and I recommend for ARK players with any type of experience from one month to a decade.

A must have for all ark survival players. This app is needed for ark players, there are so many things I come to this app for such as how long it will take to tame… or what I need to tame… and it always has the answer I am looking for. This app shows how long it will take to tame a creature, what is best for gaming it, where they can spawn, which map they can spawn in, chance of death when knocking out, and so much more. I would recommend to any new, or veteran player.

Great app useful but could be better if more was added. I LOVE this app it’s very helpful but it would be better if the stats were more understandable like telling meh the exact torpor of the Dino I uploaded to it instead of it telling me the back level one stats of the Dino and I would love for there to be a item search for every item in the game with resource breakdowns and what level you have to be to learn it. These are just some suggestions otherwise this app is very helpful.

Amazing app for Ark Survival Evolved. This app is a literal Encyclopedia for Ark. basically it acts like a godsend for any Ark player. This tells you everything you need to know for taming recipes spawn points etc. on occasion there are some discrepancies or inaccuracies, but that is more than made up for with the amount of individual user input giving helpful comments. I have used this app more times than I can remember over the years. If there were more stars I could give I would. Phenomenal creation.

This app is amazing. This app is amazing and I use it for so much during gameplay. It’s has all the needed information and seems to be updated fairly frequently with new Dino releases and information! The only suggestion (I did seen it’s been suggested in the reviews before) would be to add a section where we can track what Dino’s we tamed and what ones haven’t been tamed yet! At the moment I just use the search tab and push the favorite star on the ones I already have 😂

Very good, but one suggestion. I love this app and I use it literally every time I play the game no matter what level I’m on. But I have a suggestion, You could add a tab on what you get every level up and how much resources those engrams would cost . I think it would help new players and veteran, even though the older players will already know most of it, it would still make it were you don’t have to scroll down to the level you want on the engrams page. Extremely. I’ve played Ark for a little over 2 years, so I’m not that good. On top of that, with all the new content being added in on top of the old content; it has made it hard to master the game. So I turned to the gamepedia wiki to help me, however, I have to log onto the internet every time I want to use it; that bit was kind of annoying. That’s when I found Dododex. Dododex is a lifesaver, enabling me to play the game better; and understand more of the game’s mechanics easier. Twelve out of ten. 😁

Good app, but I have a suggestion.. I love using Dododex. Me and my friend play ark whenever we can, and your app makes it extremely useful for anything- except for the maps. I think you should add a feature where it shows where the creature spawns on any map. I don’t know if this feature exists already, but if it doesn’t, you should seriously add it one day. Also, the resource maps are kind of buggy and won’t let me scroll down to see more resources, so could you fix those too? Thanks!

If you have Ark, download this app ASAP!. This has carried me through my 4 years of ark play. It’s helped keep track of babies hatching and info on best ways to trap and tame. I’d be now where without this! I’d love to see a tab on the Dinos that have different versions. Or add the other versions to it seeing as they have varying stats. I also keep track of my mutations in my Dinos in my notes on my phone. It’s be cool if you could track that on the app too so I wouldn’t have to switch from it. Thanks for keeping it awesome 👏🏻

Don’t Play Ark Without This App. I make sure my phone is next to me before playing Ark each time, just so I have this app on hand. I play with some friends and recommended they do the same. We will carry on conversations with the mention of Dododex information we looked up as if the Dododex app were part of the game. Best companion app (official or not) of any game I have played... highly recommend. Also, make sure you input your server settings for accuracy.

Tips. Could we maybe not have the tip delay? And, by tip delay, I mean the fact that it can take a day, or longer, for a tip to show up, which, is hard to convey things for say, a crossover, some people resort to discord (which not everyone has) and some people use Google to see stuff early, but even that has a delay, I can kind of understand why you did it, that amount of people posting all at once, but, maybe just lower the time delay to like, an hour? Thank you for your patience!

best guide EVER for ark survival evolved. such a great app for seeing what gets what better or how much tranqs you’ll need to knockout a dino or what something needs to be tamed and the tips are usually great and sometimes even funny. thank you for making such a great app, i’ve been using dododex for the past 3-4 years and it’s one of the best if not the greatest sources for info about ark and it’s creatures. and again thank you for making such a wonderful app.

This app is awesome but I want one more thing. To everyone who looks at this. I greatly recommend this app for taming,gathering, breeding,what the creatures do and what you need to knock them out with or tame. All that stuff is great but I don’t know if it’s possible but maybe you could add a weapons section for how much the primitive weapons do and what you use them for because I understand that all higher grade weapons melee and durability are random so that’s why i said only primitive items. Please check this and if possible look into doing something like this.

The app is really good. Over the past week I’ve been doing a lot of taming and breeding so this app really helps out especially when I needed the recipes to make medical bruise and vegetable cakes for boss fights and caves if your a new player to ark or even if you’ve been playing for a long time this app will help you can put your settings to the server your on and Dododex will calculate exactly what is needed to tame a giga or a rex you name it they pretty much have every thing you need

Amazing app and customer support. Have been using this app for a while now and thought that I would upgrade to the Pro to support the dev. After purchasing, it didn’t kick in, so I sent an email to the Dev and he addressed my concern very quickly and had a fix out in no time. Not only is the app super informative and helpful for those taming and breeding moments and more, the creator is super engaged and responsive. Keep up the great work! I’d recommend all to upgrade to the pro in support of the dev and work he does.

A few Problems. I love this app. It helps me for a lot of things, but the breeding calculators are WAY off. It says that it takes a total of over a day to hatch and grow on ark mobile, but it only takes me like 45ish minutes. Please fix this. Also, I think that there should be some sort of auto censor for the tips. While scrolling through tips, I find between 1-5 swears. It’s annoying. If you could implement that, it would be amazing. Needs to listen to tips. Dan love the app, it’s awesome but you should listen to tips and tell them to wildcard. This would be a great thing to add. So many people are complaining and you should tell wildcard. For example ark mobile needs the thylacoleo. It’s and amazing creature and tell wildcard the they need to add it to ark mobile. Big things like adding the thylacoleo would be do much better than ark already is. Please consider this it is something that should be done.

Amazing. This app is the only app I’ve seen like it and it’s the best one to grace the surface of our planet, it’s extremely accurate and it’s fun to listen to the stories others tell about their experience, it’s really reliable and has all of the creatures, it even lets you select which island you play on so it shows the right creatures! Over all this app is a ten out of ten even when it’s ran by a one man team they still graced the earth with something as amazing as this!

Great developer, Long term support. I feel like many useful third party sites, apps, and tools pop up any time there is a new popular/flavor of the month game but then just as quickly get abandoned for the next hot thing. Dododex is not one of those. I’ve been using Dododex for a few years now and I trust that it’s up to date (within reason) with whatever new Ark patch is out. Dododex alone is the one essential Ark tool I must have.

Incredibly Useful, but some things aren’t right. The Dododex app itself is an incredibly useful and amazing companion app for ARK: Survival Evolved. It’s got everything you need from taming info, dino stats, breeding stats, and even anonymous tips from the ARK community. Now, that’s good and all, but some things aren’t right. Some statistics are mildly off, a whole lot of breeding info isn’t entirely accurate. It’s just a minor fix, it doesn’t affect the entire app. All in all, the app is amazing and I heavily suggest this tool to ANYBODY who plays ARK

A Must-Have Companion App. Alright, I’m not gonna lie, I mostly play single player on mobile and this app is AWESOME! I used to have to just guess how to knock out and tame creatures and I almost always either accidentally killed a passive tame or tried to passively tame a knockout, one of my favorites being going up to and trying to feed a therizino fresh veggies. But even on multiplayer this thing would be massively useful, especially when preparing for full-scale battle between tribes. All around great app!
