Disappointed. I was very excited to try this app out. However very disappointed. If I export as gif it saves to my camera roll as a regular picture so when trying to upload to Instagram it posts as a very low quality picture. If exported as movie, it comes to 2 seconds long which is not a long enough time frame to post.

Can't live without it.. I downloaded three apps to cut out the best and clearest pictures out of my live photos. This is by far the winner. Simple enough for a four year old, it also will make gifs and movies out of your live photos so you can send them to people that don't have iphones, computers, or even old style phones. I would give it 10 stars if it had a bigger screen to see your photos on! Guys, you Rock!!

Missing photos. App was, it is fun but I’m not getting my entire camera roll to choose my gif for. I have close to 10,000 photos in camera roll but only have Alittle over 800 of various date photos to pic from. I got photos that you have in there from various years just mixed up. How about putting entire camera roll in. Latest photos aren’t in there, and I just took a photo and that wasn’t in your list of my photos so I could pick it to use(?) So list in order like camera roll, the photos and not have them so mixed up. Big time mixed up.

Amaze ballz. Besides the fact that after you purchase it and it tells you jokes (you’ll see what I mean if you buy it)~ it turns love photos into really cute memories that make me happy :) Thankyou very much🥰

Doesn’t work. I bought this app wanting to post my live photos on my instagram, but after several unsuccessful attempts the app only posted really low quality photos of my live photo. I could not turn my live photo into a gif or movie. Im extremely disappointed in this app after reading many positive reviews. A big waste of money.

Prior to this, I had tried other GIF apps that sucked, produced liw-quality GIFs, and added proprietary watermarks or cah-cah. I have grown to love this app and its simplicity. Thank you.

Use to Save Live Photos. I’m having fun with this app but I discovered a major plus. Now I can safely save my Live Photos into Dropbox. I use both gif and movie options.

Disappointed. This was by far one of my favorite apps for a while but as of the past few months it’s been glitching a lot and not allowing my full camera roll to upload. This is one of the only apps I’ve paid for and needless to say I think I pretty much wasted my money because I can no longer use it. I hope things get fixed soon.

No fuss, no bloated mess. I was thinking clean simple app designs were getting to be a lost art through hurry up and develop, Vs slow down and plan it out. Lively delivers a clean simple well done app. Bravo to the planning team, and the developers, actually this is so good perhaps they are the same people

Great app. As a photographer that likes to dabble in video I love this app. You can grab a frame from a live photo, turn it into a gif or mov. Adjust the speed and you have a nice little file. If you've ever played with the boomerang app, you know how dysfunctional it is to use. You have to time everything perfect as your taking it and then it takes a few seconds to save (making sure you miss your next shot). Now I just shoot with Live Photos and am pleasantly surprised about how much information was actually captured.

Best app to export live photos!. This is my most cherished app! Never had an issue with it and always does an amazing job of exporting gifs, frames or videos. A must download for all photographers and photo lovers!!!

So great for pet photos. I work at an animal hospital and we are constantly trying to take pictures of wiggly pets. This app is a time saver! Our clients love the photos we extract from the live photos and the funny gifs we make of their pets. I recommend this app to everyone!

Crashes all the time. I think I’ve only be able to open and see this app once on my phone. I bought it specifically to send a group of Live Photo’s to a friend without an iPhone and the one time the app actually opened the photos that I wanted to covert to gifs weren’t there. I have a large stored library on my phone which might be the issue. But I’ve been waiting for updates to this app for months just to be able to open it without it crashing. I definitely wouldn’t buy it again. Wish it worked.

Export is not as advertised. Why do you state that one is able to export the gif or movie to FB, Instagram, etc., when, in fact, it does not go thru as a gif or movie to these sites or any type of sharing site? Love the pics it makes, but they are useless if you can’t share them.

DOESNT WORK for Instagram posts. I paid for the upgrade to remove the watermark to find out upon posting my videos on Instagram that the video won’t load without a strange black border that doesn’t appear when I play it in my camera roll. The cover image looks fine though. I know it’s only a few dollars I spent, but I feel like I wasted it.

Watermark.. Got a the new iPhone went to make a gif and now there is a giant watermark.... never had one before. Annoying.

Fills the gap. I have found this application to be extremely helpful. It allows sharing a video clip immediately. Also it enables the live feature and the header feature of Apple photos. Doing so in the photos app, it is somewhat difficult.

Wish videos were longer. It works well turning Live Photos into GIFs, but I wish when turning them to a video format, it made the video 3 seconds instead of just under so I could post it to Instagram.

Will not gif still photos. They should have unequivocally stated that it applies only to ‘live photos”. Wouldn’t have bought had I realized otherwise. Better still, the developers can ‘version’ that improvement. Creating gif i or mp4 can be done natively within the iOs, e.g. photo > edit

Doesn't create gifs, doesn't loop & doesn't reverse. I downloaded this thinking no it would create gifs but it doesn't. I imported a live pic into the app and edited the length of the clip but when I exported it as a gif it just created a picture (a degraded picture). When I saved the clip as a video the looping and reverse features do not work. The clip lasted 1 second and stopped, no looping or reverse. I don't understand all the positive reviews when the app does nothing but create 1 second videos.

Never mind, I figured it out. Please disregard my last question. I figured it out on my own. Changing my rating to 5 stars. For now. lol

Doesn’t Work For Me. Despite numerous positive reviews I’ve read on here, I cannot get this app to work on my phone. I have tried on multiple phones, multiple operating systems, and multiple times. It used to work and I loved it, and all the sudden stop working during one of the updates. Make it compatible with the most recent phones and iOS and I’ll update my review.

bad. As much as i would like to leave a positive review, how can I, when it simply doesn’t work? I paid for the full version and it only takes a few photos from my camera roll. I wrote to the company for help and no one responded. A shame because the app is beautifully designed and works well—for the couple of pics i could use for it.

Keeps Crashing. I used to love this app! It was perfect for creating gifs but now it won’t even stay open. It opens for only a moment and crashes. My app is up-to-date, and I’ve run all the usual fixes. I’m running the app on a iPhone 7+ please fix!

Extremely disappointed.. I am so disappointed in this app. After paying to remove the watermark, I found that I am unable to save the gifs I create to my camera roll. When I try and save, it only saves a low quality picture. I am encountering the same issue when I try sharing it and then saving from the external app. Lively, please find a way to fix this asap.

PRETTY USELESS WHEN SHARING CREATED FILES!. A lot of potential wasted here! Yes, this app can turn live pictures into “gifs” and it can adjust/trim the live picture itself, which they call “movie”. To put it accurately, this apps simply allows us to manipulate (edit) live pictures. That’s it! It doesn’t create anything! But get this, the “created” files are useless when trying to share in Facebook or trying to use in movie creator apps, such as Splice. Why would I want to create a “movie” or better yet “motion and gif” file out of a live picture file that can’t be used anywhere else but in my picture file folder? When sharing, you can only view the still picture and not even the live picture! So it doesn’t convert anything into motion...it simply edits your already motion/live pictures. That’s so pretty ridiculous, sad, and it makes this app completely useless. I can share live pictures (that will appear still) without having to convert it into gif files! Until you come up with a good way to interface with other apps and social media, this app is USELESS AND WORTHLESS!

Ruins the Quality. This app does exactly what it says it does- it edits your Live Photo’s into a gif, movie, or freeze frame. The downside- it significantly reduces the quality of your photo. I was not at all satisfied with either the movie or gif option with any picture I tried it with. I didn’t even bother to try the freeze frame option because you can do that in the photo settings.

Fun but wish there was more functionality in movie editor. This app is fun and easy to use. It allows you to "freeze" Live Photos into still photos at whatever moment you choose. I just wish the movie feature had a little more functionality. I would like to be able to reverse movies and make boomerang movies as this app allows you to do for gifs.

Needs improvement. Like other users all my photos, esp recent ones, are not showing up in the app to chose from. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and still, same problem 😢

Sound Please. I would like it to have the option to keep the original sound as in the moment is fully realized with sound. Like the app but just wanted to make this request.

Love the idea and simplicity but NEEDS updates bad. Love this idea I even purchased to remove the watermark but then of course I started having major issues. Long lags when loading photos. Choosing photos and then saying “oops! error. please try again” but as many times as i try it doesn’t work. Selecting photos is also super buggy. Saw the last update was a year ago and wish I had seen that before buying to remove the watermark.

Works very well with a natural, easy interface. I found myself coming back to this app more and more because the interface is so well thought out, and it turns my Live Photos into just the kind of gifs I want. It works better than Microsoft Motion Stills. I decided to pay and have the watermark removed.

one improvement to consider. great app and it does what it’s supposed to amazingly. The quality doesn’t change too much or anything but if I could say add one thing. Y’all should add a loop edit bc Instagram doesn’t allow videos shorter than three seconds and most Live Photo’s are just short of that time mark. If you allow ppl to loop the lively video so that it comes out to 5-6 seconds they’re already ready to post!!

Crashing constantly. I really needed a good app for this and enjoyed this one AT FIRST. But after using it for a few photos, the app started crashing every time that I tried using it and scrolling down my photos. It’s pretty annoying that I can only use the pictures near the top on the app.

Love it.... but.... The only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that the app sometimes turns my portrait orientation live pics into landscape orientated gifs. Currently no way to fix that on our own. It’s not an option and it’s no telling on which pictures it’s going to do it on. Otherwise, stellar app. Please fix that or at least allow us to rotate it if and when we want to do so.

Access to photos is limited.. The app will not access all of one’s photos. You are limited to what the program decides.

Bugs fixed, indispensable. They fixed their iCloud photo problems and it’s nice and speedy now (on my 6s). I love live photos and can’t imagine not being able to pick the best frame (though apparently that is native in iOS11 photos now) or more frequently, make adorable gifs of my cats. 😂

It’s that good.. I don’t rant and rave how good an app is. This one is great if you have an iPhone and want to strip frames out of the LIVE picture. Also for making little movies or ani gifs. It’s a must have for the iPhone shutterbug!

Great except for 1 issue. Had no problems with this app for years. However I got a new phone with iOS 16. Installed the app. Now inside the app the GIF preview only plays once. Doesn’t matter if Reverse or Back-And-Forth is checked off — it plays the preview once, then plays again and stops 1/4 the way through it. Trimming the GIF is still no issue, and it’ll play it fine while scrubbing, but still won’t play a whole preview again.

how do I delete a project from the app. I stopped using the Lively app, because I cannot find a way to delete projects from the app. What if I change my mind about a picture I have uploaded, and I want to remove it? As well, I cannot afford the storage space on my phone, for projects that cannot be deleted. It seems strange, I have never used an app in which the app creator keeps my private photos stored inside their app “forever” with no option for me to delete. So more likely, maybe it is just that I am not seeing the “delete project” option. Thanks if there is an answer.

Landscape gifs. This app is amazing and everything I’m looking for except that if I take photos with my phone on it’s side, it won’t import them as landscapes when they’re gifs. They end up being in portrait and this makes the image itself rotated on its side, and I can’t edit this anywhere I’ve found.

Really full featured and great working app. This is obviously an app built by talented developers. Everything works as claimed, and the features are deep. Haven't seen anything else’s like it. Apple should really step it up and add some native features for handling Live Photos, which are really an excellent addition to photography. Until then, thanks to people who write apps like this one. I will buy and pay for this app when a bulk feature for exporting movies is added. I really need a way to export hundreds of Live Photo’s at a time to movies stored in iCloud Drive. This app does it perfectly one by one, but a bulk move is much more efficient.

Really awesome but loses quality when you upload to Instagram :(. For whatever reason, every time I try to upload one of these to Instagram the quality changes. The quality is great when I am editing it but as soon as I upload it, it gets really blurry :/

Good potential but too buggy. If this worked as intended it would get 5 stars, but there are too many bugs. The app constantly rotates my photos to the wrong orientation and there is no way to rotate the photos in the app. Also the app needs to order the photos in its upload menu the same way that they are ordered on my iPhone (if I download an old photo, it is in the bottom of my “all photos” but in Lively I have to dig through it as it is arranged in chronological order) Also the “create gif” menu from the photos app doesn’t work half the time. Good app but needs work.

One major flaw. I use this app constantly. Every time I have a live photo that doesn't choose the best frame, I use lively to get the better one. The one major flaw, however, is a significant loss of color quality. I have to go into a different app to attempt to recreate the same saturation/exposure that was in my original photo.

Still problematic. The app does not recognize all my photos. It's the same group available as before the new update. I'm sorry I bought the app. Update: The app now works as it is supposed to. I had some email exchanges with one of the developers and then support disappeared. Today by accident I launched the app and it works.

Doesn’t work with video clips. The app looks like it has great potential. I had fun creating a few gifs from Live Photos. But now either my camera roll doesn’t work or this app only works with Live Photos? Would like to use short video clips too. Also, the results are of low quality.

Click export GIF, then save, then delete app. Click export GIF, then save, then delete app After realizing the app serves no purpose and does nothing. If the file is saved certainly not saved to any place that can be accessed. No folder in files. Essentially the save button does nothing except tell you the app is useless and needs to be deleted. By the way, To save your file to a folder you need to click share. The new definition of the word Intuitive is “&$@# you!”.

Crashes like crazy. Crashes constantly and almost never works. Loved it when it would work, but it’s useless now. I tried it again after months of not using it and it took a long time to load my photos then it worked great... until I closed it and re- opened it. Now it loads for a while and crashes again.... every time. So disappointing!!!

Stopped loading pics. I really love using this app. But recently it stopped loading pics. It will not connect to my photos anymore. Is there a limit to how many pictures you can convert before you are forced to buy the app?

Works fine but watch it ! You are paying again to remove the watermark.. So ... I pay (no problem) but then have to pay more than that again for no actual features but removing your ugly watermark ? Please - only free apps have a right to watermark you little s@&ts !

Should be a standard app!. The number of times I've gotten a much better picture from a different frame in the live photo is what makes this an app I cannot live without. And turning the Live Photos I captured of friends dancing had us in stitches in ways that an actual video recording couldn't achieve. You will not regret this app taking up any space on your phone.

Best app for live shots. So, yesterday I took a 'live photo' of my 2 daughters that I absolutely loved, but my youngest blinked in the photo so the 'preview' of the photo she has her eyes closed... I googled for an app to extract individual frames from Live Photos and found LIVELY.. BETTER than I expected! Turns out 'live photos' are longer than they appear on your iPhone! Who knew?! Now I have even more 'frames' to choose from.. certainly better than a 'burst shot' - unless you're wanting a good quality photo. That's all I can fault... the photo condition is nowhere near as good when you extract frames.

Double the export loop length. It’s absolutely baffling that they can’t just export the loop twice so that live loops are able to upload to Instagram. It’s literally the only thing I need this to do.

Free version gives very little. Basically you get to export 1 picture before you have to buy. Better apps out there for less.

works well but photos drop off. It works well but I had a live photo I wanted to turn into a gif but the app kept orienting it the wrong way and there are no controls to rotate it. I ended up cropping the photo but it suddenly wouldn't show up in the app. I tried duplicating the photo, deleting the photo and restoring it, restarting the app and even deleting the app and reinstalling but the photo still won't come back and there is no way to add photos manually

An annoying change !. Updating my iphone has caused whatever I make with 'lively to turn sideways with absolutely no way to fix it. From a perfect paid for app to a useless one ... REALLY disappointed !!!

Won't detect some Live Photos. Great app but it won't detect one of my Live Photos - my favourite one! Even after reinstalling it still didn't work.

Great app! 10/10. Finally I can transfer live photo to short vids (of gifs)! Not only that, but I can change the speed it plays at, if it plays backwards or if its in an auto reserve loop! It's also very convenient to have an option to make the file size smaller as I use Discord which only let's files under 8MB send through. I was going to suggest the addition of filters, but with the iPhone I have I can already apply filters to live photos. Great app, don't know how to improve it!

Works well enough. Unfortunately, it seems to rotate some of the GIFs it exports and there’s no way to edit them after that

Awesome - does the job.. I think a perfect addition to this app (while apple should include the functionality as standard) is the ability to remove the live photo data entirely. You can turn it off in the apple photos app but the data is still there, taking up space. The only way to remove it is to edit the image in an application and save, then delete the original live. This app would be super simple for this.

Export Extension Doesn’t Work. Would be much better if the export Gif option from the share sheet actually did anything. Doesn’t work on iOS 13.1 on an iPhone 11 Pro

Turns some videos 90°. Some videos are turned 90° and there's no option to rotate them back. Otherwise it's pretty fun. Turning off the watermarks costs $3.99 which is a little too greedy.

Not for Instagram. Bought the app and its unlocked. Problem is you can't export to Instagram. Facebook ok but I don't do Facebook. Don't buy this if you think that it's supported by Instagram. It's not so don't waste your cash.

Live Photo to Video cuts short. Can’t convert Live Photo to video as it cuts off the clip half way through.

Could use some improvements. Things I wish Lively would change: - $3.99 USD to remove watermark I agree was greedy. Especially that you don't get anything else for the upgrade. - would like the ability to make the photo larger (or be able to zoom in) if I want to catch the moment right before I blinked it's a bit tough to tell unless it's a photo taken in close range) This is a big one for me. Would def enjoy this app more if this were an option - if you edit your live photo in the iPhone photos app (not sure about other photo apps) then open it in Lively, that photo will not even be there to open. Meaning it drops off on the Lively and does not allow you to even see it in the app. - would like the option to edit the clip you chose. Like sharpen it. Some clips you choose will not be very clear and ends up unusable. Which defeats the purpose of the whole purpose of this app. - will often refresh and go to the end of you camera roll. Then you have to go all the way back to where you were. - Live Photos that are converted to video must be 3 secs or more in order to post on IG Things I like: - very easy to use - more or less does what you need it to do

Gif doesnt work when you save to camera roll. I paid for the app to unlock all features. Gif is not saved to camera roll it shows up as a pic. DO NOT pay for the app

works great / no family sharing. the app works great and deliver what promise, highly recommend for everyone! let you create great gifs from the live pictures... the only downside is that I bought expecting to be able to share the purchase with my wife and it's not possible because somehow it's considered an in-app purchase and this is non-shareable even with same family members

Added watermark after I have been using it forever without.. I’ve had this app for quite some time and use to love it but not anymore. There never used to be a watermark and all of a sudden there is! That’s fine if you want to change and charge to remove a watermark like some apps do but people who already had it before the change should be exempt. I will no longer use or support this app because of that!!!

Exactly what I needed. When I first got the iPhone 7, and experienced the Live Photos I was annoyed that I couldn't capture certain parts of the "live photo". This app makes it possible! Sometimes I'll get 2-3 frames that I love out of the single live photo!

Can't upload video files to Instagram. Like the concept of this app. Will keep using it to convert LivePhotos to gifs/videos. However, I can't upload the created video files to Instagram, it comes across as 2 seconds only, and videos have to be a minimum 3 seconds. Would LOVE this app and rate it higher, and possibly pay for it if some of the scrubbing features occur in video mode (speed up/slow down) as it does for gifs; As long as something could be done to resolve this unfortunate hiccup!

Doesn't update Camera Roll. This is a great product but unfortunately I can only access the photos available originally at installation. Works well but only on the 80 photos not the hundreds I have added. Waiting for an update. 5/5 when the fix comes 3/5 for now.

Horrible Quality. The photos you try to export are horrible quality! Not even worth it. I even paid for the watermark to be removed.

No access to camera roll. The app only lets you access the first 700 pictures in your camera roll. It also doesn't allow you to select from any specific album folders

Super easy. I like it for the ease of use. I would suggest the creators to also make it possible to work on short vdo footages. Also i can’t explain why all my Live Photos si not appear for selection. But all in all it is a pretty good and easy to useGUF maker app

Can’t download photo to PC. Unable to download photo to PC. Not with USB, not via Dropbox, nor iCloud. Pointless. Will be complaining and looking for a refund as I paid for the full version.

Easy and Does What it should. Used it for just at few minutes and it does what it should. Very intuitive.

Good quality for price. Good app but, when you try to post a “movie” it leaves a big black bar on the side. Does anyone else have this problem? Also, the gif has a huge water mark but that is understandable.

Wonderful app, no begging for reviews, no ads!. Loved this. It’s completely seamless and the whole process took under 30 seconds from opening the app, converting two Live Photos and I was out. Keep up the great work guys 👍🏼

Used To Work - Crashes Every Time Now. This app used to work great! But since the last few updates it just crashes on my iPhone 6S even if it’s deleted and reinstalled.

Can't access full camera roll!. I have over 6000 photos, yet the app only let me select from 88. I love the features and the actual process works flawlessly, but if I can't actually access the Live Photos I want the app as it currently is is worthless.

Export issue. If I change the speed and export the gif, the speed is not saved, so the gif stay at the normal speed ... I will change my rating when it changes ! PS : it looks like it’s a random issue ... doesn’t happen all the time

Great App. I find myself using it more often than I imagined.

Love the new version. Thank you for updating and allowing unlimited conversions with your watermark. Now I can test it out more than 3 times before I purchase.

Fun one gif then doesn't work. I made one gif. I was so excited that I paid for the app. Then all the gifs I tried to make after that was just a still photo. Terrible. I'm so disappointed that I paid for it without checking if it works. Never again.

Insta posts. Whenever I post a movie on Instagram I’ve exported there’s always a black band on the left hand side that cuts off some of it

Two things needed before I purchase. It does exactly what it promises, creates GIFs, movies or still frames from Live Photos. The GIF and Movie exports are a nice to have for me. The still frame is very important, lets me pick the best moment! However! 1. All exports are saved as Lively.jpg, regardless of the images are different. that's a terrible naming convention. I can't reliably export to PC without overwriting past files. If the original is called IMG_105.JPG, then either let us pick a name or name it IMG_105_LIVELY.JPG. The important point is to keep the file name consistent and NOT the same! 2. My original image taken on iPhone 6s is 1932x2576. The lively export is down scaled 960x1280 which is a huge turn off. Yes saving space is important to people who lack local or cloud storage, so then create an option which lets us pick if we want original size or something to save space. In any case, I won't be using this app right now since the free version has watermarks and until the above is fixed I won't spend $3.99 on it. If the above is fixed though, then I really wouldn't mind sending $9.99 on this app because it really does a good job at letting you pick still frames! 3. More of a comment but the watermark is ugly! It's a card and white logo. At least make it look nicer and have a proper icon, not just a white curved rectangle.

Not working for me after first usage. Cannot get new Live Photos to load into app, only the ones I had some time ago. Also when I put the mini vids onto Facebook they no longer play. Disappointed!

Find another app - Massive Watermark. This is a fine app but requires paying $3 if you don’t want a big fat watermark on your picture. Save your time and look for another actually free app.

Easy to use but not an excellent app. This app very easy (user friendly) to use and I considered giving it a 4-star rating, BUT it exports movies at only one preset aspect ratio (not the desired 16:9) and this aspect ratio cannot be changed - so the exported file is NOT ACCEPTABLE for using in standard videos

Won’t load current pictures. App only has photos up to date of initial download. Anything taken after that in my phone’s camera roll DOES NOT show up in Lively, even after re-installing and checking for updates. Paid the premium $ so pretty disappointed in this app failure.

Works pretty great. It does the job in a pinch and is quick and easy to work with. I wish it had image stabilization and higher export quality.

Image/video quality is terrible & pixelated. I was excited to purchase this app but discovered that the quality of the saved videos from Lively are terrible and pixelated!!! Seriously? Picture/video quality is what the iPhones are about and you dare to downsample the quality? Brainless.

Totally useless. Can I get my money back?. I wanted to convert a Live Photo to video as advertised. Every exported image comes back to my library as a new Live Photo. I can’t believe I paid money for this. Can I please get my money back? (And yes all my software is up to date)

Boooooo!. This app doesn’t have options to add media-it doesn’t have any options to do anything at all. There is one page that shows 12 photos. I have almost 15,000 photos on my camera, so that’s weird....maybe do an update guys??

Useless. I got it thinking I’d be able to turn my live photos into gifs I could share on tumblr and Amino. They don’t work. They don’t move. It sends/shares a frozen image the same as if I didn’t have the app at all.

Was good. I thought this was a great app before I purchased it. I purchased it to remove the watermark and once I did it no longer allowed me to export any images. Now this app is useless to me.... I hope there is an update that fixes this soon.

Doesn’t export anywhere. Works well, but gifs and movie output wont export to google drive, email, or Facebook, unless I’m missing something. No way to ask the developers.

Doesn’t give you access to all your photos!. Exactly how do you sell a product that doesn’t work? Great idea, poor execution. I took picture thinking I could turn into gif....ahhh, no. I only have access to some of my (older) pics. Don’t waste your money or time.

Poor quality. The set up of the app was designed well, but I was a little disappointed with the image quality. The video came out very pixelated and I probably won’t post any of the ones I converted.

Fun. Very easy to use and fun way to make animated Gifs from Live Photo’s

Videos are 2 seconds, not 3. Online ad says convert Live Photo’s into 3 second videos. I was excited to share Live Photo’s on Instagram so I even paid for the premium version ($2.99). Every Live Photo I tried only made 2 second videos. I still can’t post them to Instagram and now I’m out $3.

Great if you have kids. I use this app to fix photos of my kids.

Never Works. I’ve tried several times to get this thing to work and it never does. The stitching is wacky, or the pictures I take don’t appear in the camera roll, or whatever. After you try once you don’t get another crack at it, you have to take all new screenshots.

Rotating Bug. Paid for the features but shortly after there was a bug where your gif would rotate 90 degrees counter clockwise and there’s no rotate button or easy fix. Not worth the money

Please Fix the Rotation Issue. Random photos will be rotated 90 degrees, which reflects in the export. Other than that there really isn’t much else that’s bothersome, but the rotation issue is very frustrating.

No longer updated and doesn’t work with current IOS. App just shows a blank screen until in crashes. Looks like no updates in over a year.

Will not load. Been trying for awhile. Restarted by iPhone X. Closed all open programs. No go. The app loaded my recent Live Photos the first time I opened the app. Since then the app just crashes and will not load any of my Live Photo. Why is this happening?

Its perfect!. Its a really great app for making gifs but the gifs are stuck horizontal and not vertical, can you fix it? Other than that the app is perfect! 😗😁

Can’t use for Instagram. Doesn’t let you upload the video or gif to Instagram and to have a gif it has the ugly watermark on it and doesn’t let you crop it out even after you save it. Pointless app

Simple. So flat out easy to use and produces great results, what more could you ask for.

Blank screen, then crashes. Worked for a few day. Now, a blank screen shows up on startup and then it crashes after a few seconds. No support on their site.

New user. Just downloaded, the frame skews, so there's a partial black border when making a video from Live Photo's. Is this a feature bc I didn't purchase app? Would purchase if that wasn't a problem.

The app won’t even open!. I downloaded it to my phone and all I see is a white screen with a green bar at the top. I tried downloading it 5 times always the same result. Then I tried my iPad, same story. How do I get th3 app to open, let alone work?

Unnecessary. App is unnecessary when you can send Live Photo in regular sms and save that as it auto-converts to an even higher quality gif without a watermark. I regret paying to get watermark removed literally 5 seconds after paying.

I don’t understand. Trying to turn a Live Photo into a Gif- it worked sooo can see it in my camera roll, and I can even text it to someone, but it won’t play the Gif in an Instagram post or. Facebook post. Am I doing something wrong? Disappointed.

Should have been better. The gif mode destroys the resolution to such an extent that it is undesirable. The movie mode is nice and crisp but it does not allow me to create a movie out of multiple photos. So that’s a thumbs down.

Great app. Love the app, although the GIFs aren't high quality. Watermarks on your gif/video is also annoying.

Low quality videos. It’s a good app, but if you try to post the newly made video on Instagram the quality is diminished.

Wish it did videos too. Works really well with live photos but I wish it also made gifs from videos too :/

Bad app. It doesn’t give me all my pictures that I selected access to all photos. It’s a waste of time. It’s not good. Don’t get this app you will be disappointed in the lack of work that this creator made.

App not opening after purchase. I was super excited about this app, but after purchasing, it stopped working altogether and I cannot find any app support on the website link. I would appreciate either a refund or support to help get this working, thanks.

Camera roll. I didn’t get my entire camera roll I have over 1,000 but it only showed 30 but none of those had the picture I wanted ☹️

Great App. Simple to use, good quality. Just trying to figure out how to turn off sound when covering.

Perfect shot. With Lively, I always get the perfect shot - even when I just miss it!

One job. So, sure, this app MIGHT be able to compress what you want. Sure. But that’s only if it want to see it. This app will only register my recent photos category, which currently numbers around 780, but even then it only reads 14 pictures in there. It’s supposed to compress the photos, not the amount of photos we have.

I see one use for this and that’s making moving photos. Of beaches or something like drawing not bad

Doesn’t view full camera roll or favorites. Used to work, lately doesn’t view full camera roll or updates favorites view when you make something a favorite. Time for an update? It’s frozen in time. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. Deleting Lively and looking for an alternative.

Crash when I scroll down.. As the title suggests, this app crashes when I scroll down. And there’s no support options displayed in the app or on the website. It’s a bit annoying.

Great app but.... So the app does what it says but for some reason when creating a gif of a Live Photo it flips my images for some reason horizontally but when selecting the movie tab they remain vertical how I’d like it to be....

Really enjoyed this app, but no longer works for me. I really enjoyed this app, but it no longer works on the latest IOS. Super bummed. I’ll keep it in my phone for a few more months to see if they fix the issues.

Doesn’t use all of the LIVE info. It NEVER finishes the entire photo...just the first part leaving out the last...maybe half of the LIVE photo. It makes a GIF but not a complete one. Useless.

Does just what it says. intuitive and works well.
