The best!. My girls (4 and 8) absolutely love this app and I love how it teaches as they play. Click any word in the story and it highlights it and says it aloud. Perfect for early readers. The little games on each page are a nice extra bonus

Great fun. My 4 year old loves the Grinch and had a blast trying to find the hidden games. Warning: not ideal for bedtime as the story + games runs pretty long.

NOT BORIS KARLOFF!!!?. You’ve got to be kidding me. The official Dr. Seuss app doesn’t have the Boris Karloff narration? I’d like a refund.

Why did you change the narrator!?. My special needs child loves the Dr S treasury & these read & play apps. No joke, I think they get listened to at least 10x a day. If not more. But recently the narrator got switched for the Grinch Read & Play (which is kiddo’s favorite) and it was horrible! The new narrator is not nearly as good as the old one & there was no reason to change this. Please please change the narrator to the old one!!!!

really fun game!. okay i love this app. i was scrolling around, goofing off in the App Store, and i decided to scroll through the entertainment chart. number 3 was this app, and it had to be great if it was number 3 on the chart, and it looked pretty cool! so i bought it, and it’s amazing! i love tapping around on everything. super fun app, love it! i love the games in every page too! i think you should try and add a game every page, not just different pages where there is the same scene and it doesn’t give you a new game if it’s the same scene every page. good app! i recommend you get it and it’s amazing for a 1 dollar game! - from a dear reviewer, who loves dr. seuss ⭐️ 😊

It is the Grinch.... It's the Grinch so of course it's a good book but it's not read by Boris Karloff which is a little weird. When you've heard him do it so many times you can recite it yourself it's difficult to get used to someone else reading it ;-). But the app has some cute interactive things throughout it (both animated on the book pages and a few puzzles/games that bring you out of the book.). So overall it's a cute book app but I think Boris is too tied to the Grinch to have someone else read it (I'm sure there are enough recordings of him doing it to make it work.)

Excellent!. The entire family enjoys these interactive books whether we read them to the kids or let them explore on their own.

Not original narrator. Anyone who knows this story knows the narration in the animated movie is the only true narration. So disappointed to hear someone trying to do a knock off version. It totally throws the feel of the story off. Put me out of the Christmas spirit. If you have kids, just stick to he old animated classic. Or better yet, read them the story. You don't need someone else's dad trying to do a voice for you.

Bring back the old narration!. My family loved the original narration. The new guy is fine, but it’s hard to replace the original.

Great app, but we don’t like the new narrator. The app is awesome and we love the interaction. Really well done! However, we are not a fan of the new narrator. The previous narrator was much more engaging and entertaining. We’ll hold off on updating the other Dr. Seuss story apps to avoid the unfortunate surprise of a new narrator.

Great app great family tradition. I love reading this with my kids every year. I also project the book and read it at our church Christmas party for all the kids. The new full color is VERY vivid, but in a future version could there be a toggle in settings to go between the classic muted coloring and the updated full color?

Get into the Holiday Spirit!. The Grinch is a classic and this new version is great. Lots of fun games and activities to play. Every page is filled with lively animations. Nice job!

Fun Activities but Narrator is Annoying.... I downloaded this app for my son as the Grinch is currently his favorite story. The illustrations are exactly the same as the book and are animated which is great. There are some decent settings as you can turn some functions on and off, however I almost requested a refund due to the narration of the story to be extremely annoying. If I knew it was going to be that bad, I would not have downloaded it. The original narration by Boris Karloff is a classic, this is an instant flop.
