Amazing. This app is truly amazing. A lot of the story’s are really good and have amazing plots, Lis, twists, and villains. Not to mention their customer service is absolutely amazing. They always reply back in a day or two and sometimes even quicker than that. Earning diamonds in this game is very easy unlike other story games. Even if you aren’t vip you still have the option to earn 3 diamonds after every chapter, there is a daily reward of 4 diamonds for non vip players and you get two extra diamonds for every 3 chapters you complete. You also get 15 diamonds after completing a book. Unlike other story apps I have played, choices gives you the opportunity to replay the chapter at the end of every chapter instead of having to restart the whole book. Another great thing about choices is the variety. They have books about drama, books about being a single mother, horror books, thriller books, romance, mystery books, comedy’s and much more!! Choices is also very inclusive and most stories you have the option to choose your gender. You can also choose to date either men or women. Some of choices newer books like blades of light and Shadows, the cursed heart, and foreign affairs even give you the choice to play as a non binary character. Truly, choices is an amazing app and I recommend it to anyone looking for a story game!

Great game but diamonds cause problems. So I have been playing this game for such a long time and I always enjoyed it. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great game with great stories, but having to have diamonds for purchasing for so many things is absolutely ridiculous. In episodes they give you three choices and one out of three is a special outfit or action but at least the two out of the three give decent choices. I’ve been reading the series the royal romance and I finally finished to start the sequel called the royal heir and the fact that I have to use diamonds to pay not only for my own outfits or whatever, but for the babies outfit too is out of this world crazy. At least put it at a set price. I won’t be spending my money on things that aren’t necessary. I do think that the owners of this game need to change something like something to get free diamonds. I feel that giving 2 diamonds at the end of each story is a little skimpy. At least give half back for what we paid for. I get it’s how you guys make your money, but you’re depriving your viewers and audience of the real experience. I don’t want to have to keep purchasing diamonds and they end up being used faster than what I purchased them for. It’s a GREAT game, but the owners need to change something to make this better because it’s ridiculous.

No Resets and Diamond Opprotunities. Overall, this game is a fantastic, very addicting, and I love playing it all the time. But, there are two components that have prevented me from continuing to play this game. One, I cannot reset my progress. I was devastated, after contacting service with the game, that there was no way to reset all your progress as if you have never played it before. I wanted to reset because my friends were playing this game on my phone and I wanted to start from scratch so I can get the full experience, but because the game nor myself can even reset it, I no longer want to play. And possibly this could be for diamond reasons so you can get more money, but for myself and the thousands of people not doing that, it has stopped me from wanting to continue playing the game. And needs to be fixed immediately. Another small issue that would be great if can be improved but alright if not, is that there are no opportunities to ever get diamonds than buy them. I was thinking you can get 2 diamonds for watching a 30 second advertisement, which overall is more money for you and would make players recommend this game to more people and play a lot more. Overall, this game would deserve 5 stars, but because I cannot get the full game experience due to no resets, it has 3.

So much fun! But o’ so expensive :( people ask for a fix for years but no change. If you like to read AND play games this is a really perfect game. Icing on the cake if you are a romantic at heart. ….Now here comes the draw back (for me at least). The diamond for choices are too expensive. I played an entire book with all diamond choices and it cost me a $15 subscription plus $50. That’s more than a novel cost at a book story. And if your into purchasing novelty books such as vintage or graphic novels like I do it’s still not quite this price tag( maybe 50 to 60 dollars) You cannot make the choices you really want to make or wear what you’d really want to wear if you don’t buy diamond. An easy fix would be to make the choices half of what is costs to make a choice . It’s choice is 17 - 30 diamonds when it really should be in the single digit range. I’d be adapt to spend more if I knew it was taking me farther . Alas, if I read two books and choose like I really want to choose I will be spending $75- $120 per books. It stifles the fun for me and I cannot imagine how heart breaking it is for the people who cannot spend that especially in today’s time. The game is already designed to get you heart pumping with the interactive decision and not be able to choose something because you are broke is not fun play- it’s STRESSFUL! Also this is no discount for subscribers either and I think that should be a thing .

The BEST choices app you'll make. Choices has so much heart! The writers really do not get enough credit for their talented storytelling. New chapters for many original stories each week, and their is a genre for everyone! Mystery, love, fun, friendship, fantasy; and even spooky! The characters are all written as modern, fresh, and you will definitely find a story that makes you care about them all. The biggest complaint I read is diamonds and keys. You are frequently presented with the option to use diamonds to enhance the story. You get extra scenes, new outfits or hair and it's usually the 'better' choice etc. But that's just it- they are EXTRA. You will succeed in the game the same way without them. I have never been held back from getting the guy, completing the mission, or enjoying the story by choosing not to use them. Sometimes it's frustrating (leave the puppy behind or spend 16 diamonds) but I don't let it dissuade me from playing. TIPS- when you start, play every first chapter once! You get a diamond for every first chapter but it doesn't cost any keys to play the intro. This is a great way to start off your balance. I let the chapters build up and then when I play, I suddenly have 10+ diamonds added each week. I save them up and use them for my fave story, try it!

❤️Love the game but....❤️. The game itself is really amazing. The books are intriguing and the interface is super easy to use which is always nice. Some things that could be better is the diamonds/choices. I know that you get a diamond after playing each chapter which is nice and you even get the option to watch an ad for an additional diamond but you should be able to watch more ads for diamonds. Most people that own these types of apps are usually low on whatever method they use for the optional choices within the book. It would be nice if there was some other way to earn diamonds. It would really make the experience better in my opinion. One other thing I don’t particularly like is the key waiting time. The fact that I have to wait three hours for one key is kinda ridiculous. It takes six hours for the max amount of keys (which is two) to replenish. It really takes away from the experience. Sometimes I forget about the game entirely and don’t come back for days, even weeks because I just forget. Sure the notifications help but I just wish there were some other way to get keys. One idea is like the diamonds where you can watch an ad or two for another key. It would get me playing the game more and just enjoy the app more without forgetting the app or the story. Otherwise the game is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to my friends that like these sorts of games.

Love this app but.... To be completely honest, this game is wonderful. I love all the stories in the app. But, some choices cost diamonds. The game starts you off with about 65 diamonds and most of the choices that cost diamonds are 20 diamonds. So, if I want more, I have to either pay money for them, which I don’t have the money to do so, or watch ads for 1 diamond per ad. At that rate I have to watch 20 ads for 20 diamonds. In addition to that, you can only watch four adds within 3 hours. So if i need to watch 20 ads to get 20 diamonds, it’s gonna take me 15 hours to get them, and i don’t have that kind of free time on my hands. This app needs to add easier ways to get more diamonds or just start you off in the game with more of them. Plus, if I want to restart a chapter, I have to immediately press restart after I finish it. If I press continue so I can get more diamonds, I can’t go back to that chapter. If I spent a certain amount of diamonds on something in that chapter and press restart, it doesn’t give m back the diamonds I already spent which I don’t think is fair. This app is wonderful, but it could be much better if I have the option to have more diamonds, or the choices not to cost so much. If you are willing to spend money on in-app purchases, by all means, do so because this game is very entertaining. But I do think these are easy fixes for the app and should definitely be considered to make a better game.

This is the BEST #1 choose your story game. WAYYY better than Episode, they need to take notes here lol. The stories and the visuals are great, it really immerses you into the story. It’s not just a hetero relationship sort of status, you can like both genders or one, you can customize your character (to some extent with certain stories) so that’s a treat as well. I only wish that when we customize a character that our characters family will be the same race as well, like for instance I’m black and make all my characters black but then the parents or siblings will be white and little things like that tend to shake me off from the story just a bit. Another thing is that I wish that when you choose a premium choice that the rest of the story falls in line with it. For instance on Book 1 Chapter 2 of Blood Bound when you choose to go with Adrian to see Priya, there’s that whole scene when things get intense (don’t want to spoil) and then when the two leave the MC is like “Omg I can’t believe I got to see her show/see Priya!” And it’s so offbeat based on what happened previously, you can obviously tell it’s what happens if you don’t pick the premium choice, so I wish that the choices we make actually create an impact, instead of them feeling like separate things altogether or insignificant.

Used to be great, but now is a shadow of its former glory. Choices around launch time to about a year ago was great. They had many different types of stories you could choose from. Now, it’s just getting very typical “here’s another romance story.” There used to be plenty of interesting stories like endless summer and most wanted- it really is unfortunate that they’re unwilling to continue not only Most Wanted, but also A Courtesan of Rome. All of their best books are singular or short. I understand that one of their writers left, but if you don’t think you can do their story justice enough for a second book- doesn’t that indicate a writer quality problems with your other writers? There must be a reason why we keep getting books like Wishful Thinking, Passport to Romance and SunKissed- and its not very good. Besides that, it’s really crappy how they look story content behind diamond paywalls. I understand it for “romance scenes”- and only kind of understand it for “premium” outfits (really? We can’t get at least decent non paid outfits), but to collect clues that contribute to the storytelling? That’s really crappy for a company to do. I guess I just had a lot of faith in this app when it launched, since I was here in the beginning, and I remember how great the surviving high school and Cause of Death apps were... but it’s become obvious that choices has become a sub par cash grab from the pixelberry team.

Loyal reader for years!. I don’t even remember when I started playing Choices but I know forsure that I have been here when they only had less than ten books. Of all of the story games I’ve played, Choices has to be my favorite one. The stories are so well-written and compelling. I’m so invested in most of them. I’ve had my gasping/jaw dropper moments during a twist, my laughs, my cheers for a prevailing character, or occasionally even a curse towards the antagonist(s). Personal favorites: Perfect Match (genius concept!!!), The Junior (SPECIFICALLY this one for the ATM storyline), the Bloodbound series, the It Lives anthology, and Love Hacks (underrated series). Notable mention: Endless Summer’s artwork was BEAUTIFUL. I tell my friends about the stories sometimes, they’re all so good! I feel like I’m reading visual novels more than just playing a game. The artwork and soundtracks have definitely also progressed a lot. I love that they have so much diversity when it comes to sexuality and ethnicity! I hope future updates will allow for different body types as well. For a while I was using the option to buy diamonds and get 120 initially and earn 10 more a day for, I think 40 days? I didn’t realize that the option disappeared when you stopped renewing it. I’d love for that deal, or for other similar deals, to always be available! Anyways, mad respect for Pixelberry. I really hope they turn some of these stories (*cough* Perfect Match) into feature films one day!

Good app but. I love this app a lot of great stories but I wish you could make it so u don’t have to connect it to Facebook because what if you don’t have face book like me? I really wish you could connect it a different way because I will loose my progress if I don’t save it please make it so u can save it to google or iCloud. I also wish that u can watch videos to take time off for the keys because we only get 2 keys and it takes forever for them to generate back give us like 4 or something like episode does. You should also let people creat stories because we get bored of the same stories and also waiting for new chapters to form every week. I love this game. Also give us more gems after reading the stories and give us gems if we read the stories again. Also why did u create a whole new high school story I mean I like the new one I was just hoping for the story to continue. Also please stop making the gems so high priced in the stories your just making us want to buy Diamonds 30 diamonds?! That’s way toooo much. This was the first reading game I have downloaded I hope you take consideration into this because I would like this app even more then I do right now if u could do the things I’m asking for thanks for your time if u read this! It is 5 star worthy but there is something you could improve. I love choices! I was getting tired of the same old same old stories with episode and choices was a good entertainer! One of my personal favorites are the Royal Romance and Queen B! BUT I digress with all the things Choices does right, there are a few things in which Choices can improve. The VIP membership: once I saw that they came out with a membership service I immediately subscribed. Especially when I saw they were giving away 185 diamonds on the spot. As a person who was struggling to afford diamond choices this was a welcome surprise! And it was worth it……for about a week. The thing is you get 10 daily diamonds but it’s hardly enough once you’ve run out, soon your just gonna have to pay 5 to 20$ just for a top up. (What’s the use of unlimited keys if I have no diamond currency?) it’s like being a regular player even though you signed up to be a VIP Your already taking 15$ out of my account every month so don’t you think we should get something worthy of the price. Give VIP members unlimited diamonds as well it would be worth all the trouble and it would give people more incentive to buy your membership! But besides that Choices it a wonderful app! When you want to overlook the never ending chase for gems

Diamond suffering. Choices has, by far, the best story telling and art for a Visual novel app out there, but it’s suffering severely in the lack of diamond earning. I put it down for months out of frustration for how much it cost to get through a single chapter. You have to spend weeks of time playing unrelated stories, that you also can’t really enjoy or don’t have interest in, just to earn enough diamonds mid chapter of your favorite story. You can’t even replay old stories to earn diamonds? So even if you blitz through a book to earn diamonds so you can go back and experience the diamond choices, you waste a ton of time and keys because you can’t earn diamonds replaying the book. An entire book doesn’t even cover the cost of the majority of a SINGLE diamond choice! At this rate, we will have to go through EVERY story released, using no diamonds, just to finish a favorite book and get the various scenes. I’d suggest holiday diamond earning bonuses or sales. I’ve seen a daily “wheel spin” or “loot box” suggestion that could be great too. Something to incentivize coming back to the app every day, or splurging on a sale, and not just to scroll carelessly through a story that doesn’t interest you just to collect a couple diamonds per day. I love the stories, I just hate how incredibly pricy and irregular the diamond costs are. 30 diamonds for an early hangout scene (Dean in RoE) but 17 or so for an actual romance scene? I don’t want to talk about the cockroach situation.

PLEASE READ THESE SUGGESTIONS TO HELP IMPROVE GAMING EXPERIENCE.. i love this game and i appreciate the new updates that your guys did and i always appreciate when you guys add new content. the only thing i recommend is giving us 5 keys instead of only 2 keys. that would make me want to play more. it takes forever waiting for the keys. also if you invite facebook friends you should get keys for that and you should be able to gift your facebook friends keys just like a-lot of the other games in the app store. my next suggestion is being able to go back and reread old chapters you've already done in case you haven't played in a long time and you have forgot whats going on. also you need to make the premium choices less expensive. i mean it does takes us forever to get enough diamonds to make one premium choice. you guys need to add a choice in settings that allows us to delete all progress and start over as if we've never played before. also you guys can add achievements and give us diamonds for completing each achievement. also please add offers that we can complete to receive free diamonds. also you need to make it so that if we purchase any amount of diamonds that we will remove ads forever. the final thing i suggest is offering a subscription service that will make us a VIP members and we will have content to VIP episode and also VIP members will receive daily diamonds. there is alot of things you can add to this game to make it better such as daily log in bonuses.

CRAZY ABOUT CHOICES!. I’m borderline obsessed with these books. I’ve played them all! Every story is different from the next and, being a writer myself, I really appreciate all of the character development. There’s no question that a lot of thought goes into the customizing, the art, the music, and the dialogues. My favorites include The Freshman (makes me feel young again LOL), Royal Romance, and the newer books like Desire & Decorum, as well as Perfect Match. Once you get into it, the characters really come alive and It’s hard to stop playing! I discovered Choices about a year ago, and very quickly went through all the stories. I gave them 5 stars because they’ve truly mastered the art of virtual reality and I would absolutely die to work for Pixelberry someday! My only complaints are that I’ve paid more than I can really afford on diamonds, and you have to wait anxiously for new chapters and books. Like someone mentioned in another review, I would much rather spend $10-$20 on the app at initial download, rather than pay as I go. Or even offering 2-5 diamonds after watching an ad instead of just 1. Heck, I’d even watch more ads if it meant earning more diamonds! Otherwise, Choices is brilliant and beautifully done. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve learned a lot about myself through these characters- as cheesy as that sounds. These stories are never dull, and contain a lot of twists and turns. I highly recommend Choices over any other competitor apps! Loveee!

Really fun but.... I’m really loving this game, and barely play anything else anymore. Lots of people talk about the diamonds and how few you get- and it’s true; something to be aware of before you download this app. In the first book I played, I gave in and bought some diamonds, but quickly learned that diamonds disappear so fast that purchasing them is just a fast train into debt. Each chapter has around 2-3 different times you can use diamonds for a choice, each requiring between 15-30 diamonds. Generally you get 5 diamonds/day as a gift, and 3/new chapter if an ad plays (sometimes ads don’t play, then you just get 2). If you can get 4 new chapters in a day, you can get maybe 17 diamonds. So, you can see how diamonds disappear incredibly fast. Instead I now try to play some books that I’m not as interested in, and use no diamonds at all but save my diamonds up to play a slower game that I can savor and use my diamonds more freely. My only genuine complaint about the diamond choices is when you have to pay diamonds to help other people form relationships, and when you don’t they don’t end up together. It kind of feels like a low blow. It’s hard to spend precious diamonds on things that don’t advanced your own characters story, but it also feels cruel to the other people. When those moments come up I just have to apologize to the characters and tell them it’s not personal, lol!

My FAVORITE app!!! 🤩. I started playing this game a long long time ago, before they even replaced it with that high school story app/game which was a bummer but they came back with this and it’s honestly been amazing!! 😫 there’s been so many visual novels that’s been coming out but nothing compares to Choices. i notice all the details that is put into this game, from all the characters, to the stories, to the backgrounds and the soundtracks and the different ways to interact with the players, is just overall amazing! one thing i don’t like though is how every significant choice to the story costs so much diamonds and most of the time, i end up picking the one that doesn’t cost anything which is a bummer because i feel like i’m missing out on a lot of the stories and i’m not truly getting the best outcomes so i hope they change that soon (maybe lower the cost of the choices) because it’s not fair to players that can’t pay/don’t feel like paying every time they play. overall, this is definitely my favorite game and i’ll keep playing for as long as they keep putting out new books! ALSO they need to put out more book with the cast of It Lives in the Woods... honestly the best characters in choices. Or just make a wholesome story with those characters in it, especially Andy Kang. need a book just about Andy!!!!

Fix the diamond problem!!!. Now this is one of the best choice driven games I’ve played in a while, but the fact that you have to pay over 25 or more diamonds to get the result you want in a story is completely ridiculous. You shouln’t have to pay to choose the choices you wish to make in the story every time, especially if you have to waste all your saved up dimonds that you got by playing a random story you weren’t even interested in. At this rate It’ll take me months just to finish one story. One way you people can fix this is by adding a way to get diamonds faster. For example, what if when you log in the game every day you get a certain amount of diamonds that slowly increases by choosing to play every day. And when or if that streak is broken the number of diamonds you get goes down again and you have to build it up again. Also one major problem is the limited number of keys. Like C’mon give us at LEAST FIVE keys... If these problems aren’t resolved in due time Im honestly just going to keep telling the friends I know who play these kinds of games that this one is just not worth their time and effort. Because it has become enfuriating having to wait months just to get a few diamonds to pick the choice that’ll move the story in the direction that we want to take it. I hope this helps the developers fix these simple things that will honestly improve the game and make it a hundred times better, and more enjoyable. Thank you for your time. 🤗👋🏼

The Good and Bad. I’ve really enjoyed getting into this game. I like that you can experience different roles and scenarios and even play games like America’s Most Eligible. The story lines are pretty well written and for the most part they provide you with a decent amount of choices along the way. There are some negatives however. The fact that on many of the stories you are gender locked is no fun. I want to be able to play as a guy - in all of the books. Makes no sense for me to not be able to choose that. Another negative is the cost to make choices. I understand their need to make money. And I don’t mind spending some to play the game. But the cost just doesn’t balance out. If you really want to do all the extras you will spend way over $100 on every storyline. And what’s worse is there’s no way to really earn extra gems - you get a couple for finishing chapters or watching an ad, but not enough to make a difference. Another thing they should do is show the whole person at certain times - not just chest and face always. And show the characters together or interacting at least. Overall a good app and the best of its kind. Also, has potential to be even better. How about add a Survivor or Big Brother story. Also, I’m sure there are copyrights but a Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Supernatural, McGuyver, Teen Wolf or Walking Dead storylines would be amazing.

Unfair amount of diamonds. Should be able to make a lot of diamonds and keys faster. They game is okay but when you have diamonds it’s so much better. However, if we only accumulate 3 diamonds after a chapter the game isn’t fun. Especially in bloodbound, having diamonds would’ve made this story so much better. It isn’t fair that you guys make all the cute outfits and most choices people want to pick cost hella diamonds. You guys should either lower all the cost of stuff (paying with diamonds) or offer more was to get a lot of diamonds. Because 3 a chapter isn’t fun. You can barely do anything. This is why I deleted the “episodes” game, everything you’d want to say, wear, or do cost 20+ diamonds. I get you guys want to make money from the game as well however, just like I deleted the other game because of the unfair amount of diamonds they offer compared to how much it cost to do the things you want to do. People are going to start to do the same. It’s unfair, I love you guys books especially bloodbound but it was only fun because I had diamonds. Please lower the price of things paid with diamonds or offer more chances to get a lot of diamonds at a time. As much as you guys ask to pay with diamonds is the same amount you guys should be letting us accumulate them. I really hope you guys fix this because I really do love playing these books. It’s very relaxing and a way to get out of my little world.

Good but bad. I love reading and I do love this app for the reading part. What I absolutely do not like is the fact that 1. You only earn keys if you are down to 1 key and it takes 2 freaking hours to earn 2 keys that’s bs and if you purchase keys you don’t even earn keys until you are back down 1 key. 2 every outfit except like 2 or 3 you have to use diamonds for which unless you purchase them are hard to save up because you only get 3 diamonds at the end of every chapter. That’s bs especially since everything clothes, choices to spend time with characters and even putting a character in their place costs diamonds. I get the app needs to make money and I’m all for it but you should give more opportunities to earn keys and diamonds. Like when we make the right choices or when we finish a chapter. 4 we have to use keys to even start a chapter but we can only earn keys when we are down to 1 key and it takes 2 hours to even earn 2 keys. This is terrible we at least earn 3 diamonds at the end of each chapter. It’s only fair to let us have a chance to earn keys as well. I only gave this app 3 stars and that’s because I love to read and the interaction. I truly only believe this app is worth 1 or 2 stars because of the lack to earn keys and diamonds. Love and hate the game. I love the stories in this game and I love playing but the reasoning for the low rating is you can't do anything you want because of how many diamonds a lot of the choices cost. There should be a better system for it or charge like $2.99 for the game and get rid of the diamond system completely because I rather pay a one time fee than waste my money on diamonds, because I refuse to pay the money for them. That is the main reason I don't recommend this game to others is no one would want to deal with it. Not only that, but the timing it takes for you to earn free keys takes so long and it will only go up to a max of two and then stop earning them until you use one you have to wait another hour and thirty mins for each of them to come back. And you blow through through the keys so fast it's upsetting. I was actually debating not playing it anymore because it's so frustrating. I have played other games that are free and you earn so many of the diamonds for free you can actually enjoy the game fully. With out wasting a dime. Last if you do use diamonds to make a choice if you decide you want to do the story again that option cost diamonds every time it doesn't save options you already paid diamonds for. Same goes with keys even if you opened a whole book already you need keys to to it again. Overall I wish they would makes changes and I bet a lot more people would download the game. It almost makes the game unenjoyable.

good, but annoying. I really wanted to give this four stars, if not, five. The stories are great and have good plots. There’s diversity. The stories are interesting and always leave you wanting more. Updates happen often. But there’s one issue. Diamonds. (A bit of a spoiler) for example, I was playing Desire and Decorum, and unfortunately her father died. Yeah, well his funeral? I had to pay diamond to wear black clothes. For a FUNERAL. They at least could’ve given another choice of outfit that WAS black. It’s idiotic. I ended up having to wear this bright blue to a funeral. And the lowest prince for only TWENTY diamond (the least amount I’ve ever spent is twelve. And that was only ONCE. Every other time, it’s at LEAST 15, leaving you with nothing else to spend) the lowest amount of money to spend on diamonds is 1.99, aka 2 dollars. For twenty diamonds. And literally if you EVER want to make the choices you want; it’s diamonds. Too. Many. Diamond. Choices. I’ve had to stop playing games for a while till I can afford the diamond choices. Oh, and for any of this romance, adventure stuff they tell you ? Yeah, doesn’t happen unless you have diamonds. I would’ve given it a one had the stories not been entertaining. Either lower your prices to buy diamonds, lower the amount of diamonds for each choice, or take them out in all. It seriously lowers user experience and it makes the app much less enjoyable than it should be.

The game’s amazing, the system’s flawed.. Choices is awesome! I can say that wholeheartedly because I love story games that allow you to simulate specific choices and thus change the results of your story. I was an original fan of both Surviving High School and High School Story, So when I first saw Choices’ released announcement, I was so excited. It’s been, I believe, two years since I stopped playing this game and just continued about a week ago. I started to play again and I’m happy I did since the stories make me smile at every turn that comes about in the plot. Well, up until the choices where diamonds come in. I don’t spend money on apps mostly because I don’t have any of it to spend on small things. I can understand the keys and the time to get more for them but it’s absolutely ridiculous how you only get one diamond after playing a story. The minimum amount of diamonds you need for a specific choice is (to my knowledge of the few stories I’ve played) 12 diamonds. Even then, I’m being run dry. I will admit that I splurged out of anger and bought a bundle of diamonds, but it’s also extremely overcharged as compared to the average roleplaying app in similarity to Choices. I just kind of wish someone in Pixelberry would work to change the way diamonds could be given (for example: a certain amount of diamonds for logging in per day, do this task and get diamonds, get more diamonds for completing the chapter or depending on specific choices, etc.).

Beating the dead horse. The stories are interesting and well written and the art is fantastic, this is definitely the best of these types of games that are out there. The only problem with it, as you may have guessed by the title, is that often times you need to spend diamonds for the “correct“ choice in the story i.e. the one that will get you the best ending. The aforementioned and diamonds are nearly impossible to get in any significant quantity without spending money, I realize that the purpose of any product is to make money, And I’m not saying remove the option to spend the money on it, what I am saying is that there should be some form to get more diamonds without spending money. Maybe five diamonds per ad as opposed to one, and a daily reward system, And perhaps most importantly lower the cost of the diamond scenes when they have around 30 and only being able to get one or two a day it’s nearly impossible to enjoy the stories without spending hard-earned actual money I’d say cut the cost of most of the time and stuff by half, 15 diamonds is a lot even if The ad amount was increased that’s still three ads, which make the game money, And two sometimes three diamond choices the story Would be 30-45 diamonds on average if you cut the price of each choice by half, still a lot, but much better than the 30 to 45 PER CHOICE. all of this being said the game is fun.........when you have enough diamonds to play it

Good work.. Well, first of all I want to say that I’ve been playing choices since the beginning when the only books you had were freshman, most wanted and crown and the flame only first parts. Now, to see you grow this big, congratulations. Pixelberry Studious does a great job with all the games, before Choices I played Hollywood U. and High School Story (if you haven’t played yet, you should!). You have so many great books, I’m loving each and every one of them. Great job with HSS, Rules of engagement, Crown and the Flame and Endless summer. I find Royal Romance a little boring(and the chapters are too short, not much happens) but it’s cute. I’ve read quite a lot of these reviews and they basically all say the same, more ways to win diamonds. No matter how many new books you publish they all need diamonds for the full experience and it’s your biggest demerit. If you really want to enjoy the story you have to pay, and I understand that it’s necessary but just a little bit more diamonds would be amazing. Plus it could definitely get you to five stars with most of people. I mean, basically, the gist of this review is that you have outstanding books, that I’m (as much as one could be) proud of you and the only thing choices lack are diamonds. Keep up the good work and give us new books cause you keep amazing me more and more every day. Lots of love for everyone!

This is THE ultimate game. I love this game! It’s super addicting but the only thing that bothers me is the diamonds. Yes I understand that diamonds can and SHOULD get you clothes but I just don’t like that sometimes you have to use diamonds for your choices. Sure you get a bonus part and stuff like that but it’s like- in reality I would never pay someone to do something (besides HAVING to pay like at a carnival, mall, etc). I love this game because all of the stories make you dig your nails into the couch of wherever your at. The stories always have the choice if you want romance in your book with your choices or not. They will give you the option if you want to flirt with someone and usually if you do your relationship would change. The outfits are also amazing. But I think you could lower the price on them a bit because that takes me days of trying to collect 25 diamonds for an outfit that I love. I have played and deleted this game over and over and over again. This game is almost better then Tic Tok. Reason I deleted this game is because of the addiction. It also makes you read which is great especially since kids don’t go to school on the weekends. (Parents) You can read them a book off of it, or have them read it themselves and you can do so many fun things with your child. So as I said, so many possibilities, amazing game. Good job Pixelberry for creating one of the best games ever. Just please fix the diamonds a bit. Thanks for reading.

Disappointed. I really love this game/books. I look forward to reading and being a part of the stories and picking out outfits and making choices through out but I almost don’t want to keep the app because it’s impossible to collect enough diamonds and keys. I’m not paying 20 dollars in a game and the price of making choices is so high that I don’t get the experience that the description says. I don’t want to start a new book everytime I want to rack up enough diamonds to be able to play the one I really want to read. I mean you get 5 a day and for each chapter read but you only get 2 keys a day and that only unlocks one chapter. I don’t know about other people but I can read more than 2 chapters a day. It’s such a fun thing that ruined over diamonds and keys. Even the pricing in those in cash is a little high. If it wasn’t so much I might buy a bundle but not 20 dollars worth. The cheaper ones only give you 5 keys and I would go through that in an hour or less. I don’t know. I hope the makers of this game can come up with something that’s less of a headache. I would even watch videos everytime I need a diamond but there’s not really any options other than waiting 24 hours for 5 diamonds when I’m the choices I need 19 every few minutes if I want to buy an outfit 🤷🏻‍♀️ please please please make it easier to get those things.

I love this Game and here is why you should too!. Let’s start off with how this game is like a book but with “pictures”. It’s simply fun and an easy read. Your pick; Drama, Fantasy, Romance or just School. My first Book was Blood Bound and I am still loving it. (Still waiting for the 2nd Book) The thing is you need keys and you only get two keys but overtime you will get more keys by 2 hours. I am completely chill about that and think it is a good idea. We also have diamonds and to get them you either finish reading a chapter and get two diamonds OR you can watch ads. Completely Genius, but I think there should be another way since we all are diamond thirsty! Anyways, my negative point of view is that when you finish a Book you should get maybe 4 diamonds instead of two because you finished the Book. Think of it as a Reward! Another thing is that when you restart a book you need keys! I definitely think that no one wants to restart the book and use their Keys! I think instead to restart the book you should not need to use keys! I would also like to add that maybe people can author their own books! It would fantastic to read other people’s books but it is just an idea. I just hope that people enjoy this game as much as I did and that it is totally worth purchasing. 😁

I LOVE CHOICES. My name is Amanda and I’m 17 years old. I’ve been playing choices since 2018 of August and have loved it ever since. I love the different genres that I can connect to. The stories are so compelling that I literally wait up for the keys just to play. It takes about 4 hours in total for 2 keys, 2 hours for 1 key, which is kinda boring as I wait but I’ll do it for I love it so much. My personal favorite books at the moment are AME, Open Heart, High School Story, and Big Sky Country. The gender equality in most games are good while in others it’s where you have to be a girl. But in the books I like I can choose to be either a male or female and can even date the same sex. I love the many options given to us players to get gems, such as earning 2 gems after playing a episode while also getting the chance to earn 1 gem for watching an ad. There are also rewards given to the player every 21 hrs which adds up to 5 gems in total which better than having to pay for gems. The honestly love choices and hope to work there someday. I have many great ideas, not saying the books there aren’t great if anything they’re amazing, and Is love to even create a choice book myself someday! They’ve inspired in so many ways that I want to thank choices and everyone that’s involved.

Just the best. Choices, without a doubt, is the best game I have ever played. I have had it for almost a year and still look forward to new chapter being released, and reread my favorite stories. Choices’s books have taught me so much about family, relationships, love, and the importance of making a choice. Our choices truly do define us, which I think is the whole message of the game if you could boil it down. Have you ever wanted to attend a school of magic? Find love in Jane Austen’s England? Captain a star ship? Seek vengeance in Ancient Rome? Become a superhero? Marry a king? Fight for your crown? Or just try to survive high school? There is a book out there for everyone, I promise. However, If you only play one book series, please play Endless Summer. Inspired by the tv show Lost, this book is a tear jerking, heart string pulling, hair raising, mind bending beautiful adventure that I cherished every minute of and cannot wait to re read. Anyway, do yourself a favor and get this game. It sure changed my life. Thank you Pixelberry. p.s. Many people complain about the diamonds and yeah, I sometimes wish there were less choices that require diamonds each chapter (Across the Void is notoriously bad at this) but there are plenty of games that only have one or two diamond choices per chapter, and you certainly don’t have to spend any diamonds to enjoy each book. I have never spent any real money on this game which has not hindered or lessened my game experience in any way.

Everyone has a similar opinion, Devs. The game is absolutely amazing and fun. I would recommend everyone to play it. I wish there were more adventure stories similar to The Crown and the Flame or Heist: Monaco but that’s just me. The general opinion is that diamonds and keys make everything a little annoying with diamonds being the only way to get a full filling experience and keys restricting your ability to play. This could be fixed by adding a direct ability to watch a ads for diamonds and raise the maximum keys on your account to 5 and drop key gain rate to 1 or 2 hours. This would make things so much smoother and make the experience better as a whole. I know you want to maintain the income from people purchasing diamonds and keys but maybe that could be worked around with VIP by raising the diamond gain from 2 additional diamonds to 4 and making a wider selection of VIP books of all genres that are entirely free (no diamond purchase in them so you have full freedom) ****Also you guys should offer a story submission system with upvoting and everything so stories we really want to see be put into the game can be voted for and shown to you guys*** PS. What’s with the censorship on nudity? Like the scene is being described with two people “completely naked” but it shows up as them just in undergarments. I mean most of us who play are well aware of what a human body looks like so why bother censoring

Cant go far. I just downloaded this app yesterday. I have been wanting to play this game for a while now. I like the storytelling of the game and the different books you can choose from And the different choices you get to make, But I must say if you do not get very far in this game without having to purchase more keys or more diamonds. To buy a new outfit cost at least 20 diamonds and when you want to make some of the bigger choices that leads to something better those also cost a lot of diamonds. So you will find yourself spending a lot of money on this game if you want to actually go far. I think that in order to get a new outfit or choose A bigger choice that cost diamonds that are really expensive and I don’t really think that is fair because some people can’t keep purchasing diamonds and just to take a different choice or buy a outfit. Yes you can watch ads that will only give you one dime in which I think is ridiculous. I think there should be many games or something to help you earn more diamonds and cheese and also don’t make the choices and the clothing so expensive because it will take you days just to get enough diamonds to do one thing. And some people don’t have the money like that to keep putting into a game. Just saying you should make some changes to this. Or I may just be deleting this app I love playing yet but everything cost so much and you get a little in return.

Why the Diamonds?!?. I love the game and it’s probably my favorite game because of choices. The keys make sense and I can wait to unlock new chapters even if I would rather just be able to play for as long as I want because of how much I love it. But the diamonds are just annoying. The most you can get at once is two, yet even the lowest price for a choice that costs diamonds is like 16! And you can’t pick the choices that you want because of it. I play stories sometimes because of a certain thing that might happen, then I discover that I can’t even do those things because I need more diamonds. Then to get more diamonds you have to read more chapters, yet you only get two keys at a time. I’ve had to delete the game multiple times because of the situations with the diamonds. If you could just get rid of them and let us pick whatever choices we want without any diamonds, I’d be much happier and would happily give it a five star rating. Besides the diamond, the game is great, the keys are a little annoying. Maybe not if there was a shorter wait time or more keys to have at once though. But anyway, I’d love if you updated the game to have no diamonds and all choices free. I am addicted to the game and would be even more if you did this. Thank you for getting to the end of my super long rant, but that’s just my opinion and I’m sure several other people’s opinion. Everything else is great though.

Best Storytelling app (More artistically stylized stories please!). I really love choices, and it’s definitely the best storytelling app out there. I even don’t have too much issues getting diamonds, since they have daily rewards and you can just play stories you’re not as interested in to build up your stash, although it can still be annoying. I also really appreciate the variety in genres, namely the more action-adventure and fantasy stories with their own interesting mechanics. My favorite stories are the ones that go a step further with the art style, like Hero and Endless Summer. I find the more cartoony art styles to be so beautiful and refreshing, and I’d love to see more that! (I am begging 🙏) I find the added diversity in art elevates the ranged catalogue, and gives various stories more of a unique identity. It’s also great to see the stories become even more lgbtq+ accommodating, stories featuring trans characters, even letting you play as a non-binary character yourself in the newer stories. I do wish some of the models had more androgynous options, however (for example if I play as non-binary with a male body type I still have to look super masculine with broad shoulders and only short hair options). I remember downloading choices for the first time right at its start, when it only had 3 stories, and seeing it grow and develop has actually been super cool. I’m eager to see what new heights are reached.

Love this, but.... Hey guys! I love this game SO MUCH! Like, these are the things that make me throw my phone when I get a cliffhanger... ANYWAY! So, I keep playing (loving Hero, by the way) and I realize: if you want to really experience half the stuff, you have to pay diamonds. Now, premium currency is something I've always loved. It helps give the creators money. But the diamond system in this game... it just doesn't make sense. Like, I'm playing Hero ~(SPOILER ALERT)~ and I'm at the point where you can customize the clock tower base, and it costs 30 diamonds to make it awesome. Now, I wouldn't mind if the system was that you can get a max of like 15 diamonds a day. And that's IF you play a new story every time, and you play 24 hours straight. So, since I don't have that kind of time, I have to pause my adventures for a few weeks until I can make enough to buy it. Same happened with Endless Summer ~(ALSO SPOILER ALERT)~ where at the end you get the files to hack the password. So I had to play the first two books of The Freshman, which took me a month, and then, not ten minutes later, in Crown and Flame ~(YOU KNOW THE DRILL)~ "Spend 12 diamonds to save the Prince." So, either make diamonds easier to get (my idea is a HUGE diamond bonus at the end of a book, like ten diamonds or so) or make the premium choices cheaper. I'll fix my rating afterwards. NOW, ONTO THE GOOD STUFF YOU'VE BEEN DOING~ Guys, keep up the good work! And please hurry up with Most Wanted 2! Love that one!

Best Story Ever, except for the diamonds. I absolutely love this game! The storylines are great, the characters look real! I’ve tried episodes before this, and I like this completely better, because this actually has a storyline! But, there’s always a bit, I wish there was a better way of getting diamonds, if you make us who can’t buy them watch ads, have them be ever hour and have them have like 3-4 diamonds, not that many, and make the items in the chapters cheaper, I know y’all are trying to make money and there are people out there who are willing to pay for diamonds, but some of us want Stories we can read that you don’t have to pay for things or the things you have to pay for are cheap, making them 20 diamonds or less, I feel like if you go above that it just is sad and really annoying, you all put work into your stories, so let us readers want to keep going, because I don’t really want to keep going if I have to buy stuff in a chapter that’s so expensive. Or you could also ad in some mini games where you can earn diamonds and keys, it would definitely make your app different then episodes and any of the other story apps. I’m watching every single ad I can just so I can buy the things to get the better part of the stories... ❤️ You app though! Would give it five starts if you fixed the diamond problem.

New update and concerns. I’ve played Choices for about 2 years and it’s been one of my favorite games so far. The stories are very interesting and some books surprise me. My favorite so far is the Royal Romance and it’s a great book but the new update leaves more to be desired. At first I seems thrilled that new books are being added but then I saw that I need to pay money I order to play the stories. The new VIP books that you guys have added seem very very interesting but it’s a shame that in order to play them you have to be a VIP. Let’s be honest not everyone has the money to pay the price and quite frankly it seems a bit unfair to the people who want to play the new books. Another thing we need more interesting stories that everyone has access too. On another note some of these books are very very detailed in some scenarios and younger kids need to be aware of that. I feel like Choices should rated 17+ instead of 12+ because it explains many things throughly. It’s a great game over all but some things need to change. Also it seems very ridiculous that I need to pay a ridiculous amount of diamonds in my “choices” and I wish I were to see the whole book plays out and not worry about the diamonds. 20 diamonds seem like a lot to pay when the choice is one like 5 sentences long. I applaud the daily diamonds but they really need to lower the amount of diamonds it takes to make a choice.

Choices beats all the rest!. I love Choices and have found no other choice based story game that compares. I played a lot of them as well, but none drew me in like Choices did. I haven’t spent more money on an app in my life but I enjoy every story so much I can’t help buying more. I’ve read through almost every book and gone back to play some of the older ones because they were so good! I’ve replayed Royal Romance I think about four times now and always enjoy it. The only thing I will say is in the latest update they added a new book called Witness: A Bodyguard Romance and I am not a fan of how they made the diamond choices in this new book. I don’t like having to spend multiple amounts of diamonds for one scene in order to get a good outcome. I much prefer spending a set amount to see the whole scene play out, so I really hope they don’t start adding that into their new books. One of the reasons I enjoy Choices over other apps such as Chapters, is because they let me purchase something once for a good outcome instead of making me buy multiple things like they do. I don’t want to see this app turn into Chapters 2.0 so please don’t make us spend diamonds like that in any other books going forward. Other than that I would say if your looking for a choice based story app then this one is the way to go.

Fun but horribly flawed with bad developers. I’ve been playing this for a really long time it’s been fun for the most part. The thing I hated was the “premium choices”. Now the choices alone aren’t bad it’s just the fact that they’re really expensive and really hard to earn; flaw number 2. So you either have to wait a lot of days and earn by flipping through chapters in books you don’t really like or buying them, which isn’t fair. But I guess they have to make their money too. But not everyone can afford it. A couple years ago when I first started playing it was definitely out of the question. I’ve spent about 7 bucks on it so far. The third thing is the ads. They let you watch up to 3 a day (only one diamond each) and they don’t always reward you after. They said I didn’t watch it all the way through but I watched it much longer than I should have to. Now the last thing something I just recently noticed and honestly pray to god isn’t true. I think they’re making the books’ endings bad on purpose so you have to read the sequels. I just finished The Royal Romance, which I think is the first book they suggest to you when you download it, and the ending was trash. And it literally said play The Royal Romance 2 to fix it. That’s disgusting. I was only playing it to collect diamonds but not everyone playing it was and it’s not fair to them. I still like the game but too many flaws and the developers are extremely corrupt.

Best Storytelling App of This Kind. Honestly the people who complain about not being able to collect gems fast enough clearly haven’t played Episode. If you want to talk about money-hungry, they literally don’t start you off with any gems, and give you hardly any rewards. Choices starts you off with butt-loads, and not only that, it has a “gift” system where you can play plenty of ads, and also get rewarded just for logging onto the app daily. Using this system I feel I have gotten plenty of in-game currency for free, and-I must add-their choices are far cheaper than anything on Episode or similar apps. Seriously, 20 gems for one choice is a steal with these games. I also like the stories a lot better. I feel like Episode (wow this really turned into an Episode rant sorry) is largely geared towards romance, which simply isn’t my thing. Choices, in my humble opinion, has a far better selection of sci-fi, fantasy, and thriller stuff to keep you interested. My one point of contention, and this is minor, is that if I am comparing the two apps, Episode does have the better graphics. The characters on Choices range from looking decent to looking…not great. This is the one thing I would request the company to work on. But of course, the characters looking a little weird sometimes is a small price to pay for an overall good app that isn’t money-hungry like all the rest.

Waiting for more fantasy! :). I was a big fan of The Crown and the Flame when it was still in production! I quit using Choices after the last book ended because the other types of casual (slightly vapid) romance stories could never really hold my interest. I’ve re-downloaded Choices after all this time to play through TCTF a second time. It’s still enjoyable but I still hope fantasy and lore lovers will get new content to enjoy. I want more of these plot-driven adventure stories with the sexy romantic options, instead of stories that are completely centric around the romance. I will say that the teams who work on these stories are truly awesome. I used to follow them on Twitter while they were working on TCTF and I know they worked hard every week to push out great content for the fans. The art is great, the writing is good, too. They also seemed to listen to us every week when we expressed our hopes for the next chapters. This is a really great concept for a game, and I continue to support Choices waiting to see what new stories they will put forward. Of course, the diamonds can be a bit of a bummer at times because the characters make you feel bad for turning down premium choices, but I don’t mind spending on the very special decisions to show support for this creative team now and again, and if you watch ads you will also accrue diamonds slowly over time.

Good, wish I could play more than once a day :(. Okay, so before I get into it I just want to say i just started playing this recently and I love the game. The storylines, the animation, the characters, everything is amazing. It’s crazy how one little chapter can bring one into a whole new world. It’s almost like reading an actual book but the reader gets to choose their destiny. The problem I have with this game is, well, it’s not very playable. The reason why I say that is because with the amount of keys you get I’m lucky if I can do one chapter a day. I get that the app needs to make money but I would much prefer watching ads to earn keys instead of waiting hours just for 10 minutes of gameplay a day. Don’t get me wrong the cliffhangers are intriguing but it’s also frustrating having to wait so long. And to be real most people can’t spend real money on a game. Also, the diamonds. Kind of like the keys, it would be nice if there would be ways to earn more diamonds than just one a day. What’s the point in charging us diamonds for the “good” choices, if it’s supposed to be our choice? It affects the way we want to complete our stories. I could understand if the diamond choices cheaper or less frequent but it’s a bit excessive. Anyways, like I said. Great game, wonderful concept, but a bit unreasonable as far as playability.

BloodBound Part II. Choices It’s a wonderful addition to the older app episodes. I think that so far the riders for this app are extremely talented and it will go really far. One thing that I think that Choices can work on is making the choices that require gems more realistic. There are certain things that we shouldn’t have to pay for and I understand that you have to make a profit, but the people that use this app also have to pay bills. This app is extremely amazing and I absolutely love it.?There are so many things for so many people, and there’s always something that you can do. If you like to scream your head off there are stories for that. If you like to laugh there are stories for that. If you want to fall in love with the characters there are stories for that. If you want to go on an adventure there are stories for that. So again there’s something for everyone. One thing that I want to talk about is the story Blood Bound. Choices writers NEED to have a part two because that is my favorite one and there is yet to be an update while there are new stories being written and other stories getting updated I think that Blood Bound should get updated as well. Choices will have you hooked until the end. The stories are amazing, the characters are amazing and have very diverse personalities. I personally think that anyone who tries this app will fall in love immediately.

DIMONSSSS. I found this game in my brothers phone and I was bored so I just decided to play it thinking it was just gonna be some funny joke. I came on the game and I decided to play High School Life. I don’t think much of it at first but then I actually start to like it, eventually I started playing for hours completed many story’s and hundreds of chapters and I started to become obsessed with the game which is funny because I thought the game would be stupid but I was wrong. The game is fun and I just like being able to “live” someone else’s interesting life, all the drama adventures and romance make the game really fun and I personally love the game, my only problem are the diamonds. I understand that there will be a few chances that will cost diamonds but my only request is to at least make the choices that actually cost diamonds cheaper. Not including the 50 diamond in Blood Bound, the most expensive choice is 30 diamonds and that alone is already 10 story’s with ads to get an extra diamond and the wait time to get more keys is 3 HOURS!!! And the max amount the game will actually hold is 2!!! The choices are to expensive and the wait time is to long, id rather fix the diamond situation than the wait time for the keys. I just wanted to give my personal opinion because I know that many people have been annoyed by this as well, but other than that the game is really addicting!

Good but frustrating. I really enjoy the concept of Choices. The available books are interesting and fun to play. My biggest complaint (and apparently others as well) is the diamond earning situation. The title is Choices but in reality you have no choices unless you want to spend $$$ to buy diamonds. It’s so infuriating! You only earn 1 diamond per chapter but everything costs like 17+ diamonds. There’s simply no real way to earn them fast enough. So you’re stuck with the boring FREE storyline, which is no choice at all. There needs to be a better and faster way to earn diamonds (and keys as well!!) to play. I would love to choose a diamond choice but never have enough. So give more ways to earn more diamonds and keys! Also, it might be nice to include some additional free Choices. Why can I only have 1 outfit without using diamonds?! At least give a couple free ones as well as paid ones. Same thing with other choices. Don’t just give the boring choice which won’t move the romance along or the expensive choice. Give a third free option (or SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper one), that may move the romance a little but not as much as the paid option. I gave it 3 stars because I’m still playing it and I like the potential. However I get so frustrated at the diamond situation and that I can only read 2 chapters daily usually because of lack of keys, that I almost have it only 2 stars. Some upgrades are majorly needed.

More of the Royal Romance/Heir series!!. So in a fit of quarantine boredom, I downloaded a bunch of these types of games. I ended up deleting all the others cuz this was the clear winner. I am low-key obsessed The Royal Romance series and The Royal Heir. I actually spent money on gems and I never spend money on games! I've also started replaying the entire series while I'm waiting for the weekly installments of The Royal Heir 3 because I can't get enough! It's embarrassing to admit it, but honestly props to the writers and artists behind the two series. the backdrops and characters are beautifully illustrated and the plot of each book is well thought out, well-written, and engaging. I'm very picky with other people's writing but I haven't found a flaw here, whereas the other similar apps all fell short, particularly in the writing department. The story really makes me feel safe, I think because it's reminiscent of The Princess Diaries, which I grew up reading and always remind me of a simpler time. TL;DR if you're looking for a choose your own adventure type game like this, choose this one. And if you liked The Princess Diaries as a kid, definitely play The Royal Romance and The Royal Heir series. Note to the game devs: thank you for making quarantine more entertaining and pls never stop adding to the Royal Romance/Heir series!!!

Choices review. Choices is definitely one of the most amazing apps out there. Y’all made get be wondering “Why is choices so amazing?” Well I’ll tell you. Being a writer, doctor, and a mom of 2, I don’t expect much of a game with dialogue, jut the usual, robotic and uninteresting. But choices has a way with the stories, it hooks you on and it’s truly addicting. Take Tiktok for example, it’s addicting, see, choices is just as addicting. It’s stories on so many different things. It ranges from vampires and space people to just normal everyday life. On choices there’s a story for everyone about anything. A really good series is Blood-bound. Blood bound tells a story of a girl who finds herself working for a cool factory and turns out... her boss is a vampire. She slowly begins to fall in love with him and they become very close. In the third book, something extraordinary happens. I also recommend Open heart. Open heart is about doctors(like me) who are devoted to their work and helping everyone, and I will admit, you can’t always save everyone but, we really try. Open Heart shows you how important a doctors life is and how devoted doctors are to helping patients. It’s true, we really do try to find loopholes. Overall, choices is a 10/10 app and if there was more than 5 stars, I would give it a million.

5-star worthy because of ONE story. I’ve read many of the books on Choices, some quite dull, others adequately entertaining, and others that are very well done. However, this app is worth 5 stars for one reason and one reason only: Bloodbound. What a masterpiece and a real gem that cuts through the noise of mediocre storytelling that is all too often found on choice-based apps like these. It’s vampire fiction done right, not even remotely resembling the mindless ‘Twilight-esque’ drivel that should not even exist. BB is beautifully written and executed with a compelling plot (despite a couple plot-holes throughout that can easily be forgiven), well-crafted lore, and fascinating characters. I am extremely picky with what I read, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. So many of the ‘teehee, I’m in high school/college, which love interest should I choose?’ type of stories are beyond tiresome to me, and BB was truly a breath of fresh air. I must of course echo other reviewers in terms of the diamond situation - the price of them is absurd, and Pixelberry knows it. It would do the company a service to lower the price even just slightly. The silver lining though is that on many of the books (and most certainly BB) the premium choices aren’t skimpy or lackluster, and really enhance the stories, especially in Bloodbound. So at least there’s that. But again, mad props to BB’s writers. Keep hiring writers like that and you’ll have more amazing epic stories to be very proud of!:)

Improvement on earning diamonds, but deleted choices. I began playing this sometime after the James change, but before the Sebastian change. It was much harder to earn diamonds back then (only new chapters earned you diamonds), so the watch an ad to earn a diamond option is a much appreciated improvement. However, the ad for a diamond does not always work. Either, the pop-up doesn’t show up, or it’ll say I’ll get credited for it later (which I did not). My settings are set to show the ad for a diamond every time. I understand that the ad does not pop up after the 1st chapter since you don’t have to use a key to play, but this is occurring on the subsequent (non-1st)chapters. Also, when I went back to replay some older chapters, some of my choices (which required diamonds) are gone—I have to repurchase them! I don’t think this issue for outfits, since I still have my purchased outfits; I’m speaking of the purchased choice/scenes. I wanted to see the different scenarios/responses to the different answers I picked, but only to find out I’ll have to accumulate 30 diamonds again to play that scene. Not cool. I haven’t revisited those chapters since before the Sebastian change, but it would be nice to still revisit my prior storyline choices w/o having to save up on diamonds again. (The character of my love interest hasn’t changed when I tried to replay the storyline, so it’s not like I’m trying to replay w/ different love interests).

Interesting game. The game is interesting and could be a lot of fun. The problem is these keys and diamonds. It takes ages to wait for more keys to be available so you can play the next chapter and slows progress too much. However, you can tolerate that. The most annoying thing is the diamonds! Making certain choices costs diamonds (usually around 20 of them) which only accumulate at 1 per chapter. I can understand some choices costing diamonds, e.g. when buying clothes, but other choices, such as who to talk to and when, also cost diamonds which is ridiculous! In the end, unless you pay real world money, you cannot make the choices you want and so the game doesn’t go the way you want it to. The game already forces you to watch ads so surely enough money is being made from that alone. I’m afraid the diamonds situation ruins the game and I’ll be deleting it. Looking at the reviews, I’m not the only one wishing that situation would change.

Great! But.... I've had Choices on and off for a little while and I've tried to find other story apps like episode that do something similar, except this is honestly the best one i could find. Episode is waaay too over the top and inappropriate, at least with Choices, the characters are static and it's more like a book, rather than a tv show, which i appreciate. It's softer and easier to play. The wait time for the keys is pretty long, but I like waiting, otherwise I'd spend waaay too much time on this app. The diamond choices are pricey, though and don't always improve the story. I can get through a book without using a diamond choice, and still end up with a love interest in the end. It's better than what I've tried, which i appreciate. The stories are usually pretty original and there are plenty of walkthroughs on wiki if you need them. Highly recommend "Perfect Match"

Really good. But. I absolutely love this game. It’s heaps of fun being able to choose your own story. However while this game is heaps enjoyable and I totally recommend it. There is only one problem I have with it. And it’s pretty big. A lot of the main choices that do actually have an effect on the story are locked and the only way to unlock them is with diamonds. That wouldn’t be such a problem if the choices didn’t cost so many diamonds or if diamonds were a lot easier to come by. If you really do want to choose every single choice in the game with diamonds then that’s a lot of real money that you’re going to have to spend. And it’s such a shame because I play this daily but it isn’t fair some times Becuase I have had to make heart breaking decision in my story that I couldn’t do anything about simply because the diamonds were just not accessible. So as much as I love this game and would love to give it a more positive review. I can’t give it anymore than 3 stars just for that reason. It is something you can fix though. Maybe make some choices only accessible if you watch an add or if you can pay to unlock all of the choices that require you to spend diamonds on. But if this isn’t fixed then the game is going to keep on getting more and more frustrating

Frustrated!. This app was my favourite, because it only ever charged you gems for an exclusive scene or a premium outfit, and the story remained the same regardless. Now with this latest ‘bodyguard’ story it seems that it’s going down the same route as every other app. Chapters take me two minutes to get through because I don’t purchase scenes, and it’s requiring us to purchase everything or our character is rude/misses out on the romance. Also the stories are becoming more cliched (baby bump? Body guard?) & are starting to only offer one or two options for LIs. This is the exact reason I stopped playing the app Chapters, and I’m so disappointed that Choices has decided to go down this route. I’ve recommended this app to people frustrated with other ‘choose your story’ apps, and now it’s become the same. This game was fun & original and now I’m just bored and frustrated at feeling ripped off. If this is a pattern with the newer stories I’m out, and I’ve played this for years. I miss the original stories, the variety of love interests, the individuality, and the ability to play a game without feeling like you’re missing an entire story because you can’t afford to be purchasing gems constantly. So yes, frustrated, but also so, so disappointed. I loved this app. I’ve spent money on this app because I wanted to support it and I felt like it deserved it.

Adds cheating players diamonds. Now look this game is amazing and all but having to watch adds is really dumb. Like just today I went to get my diamonds at the cost of some seconds of my life (as you do) but when I had to see a "my cafe: recipes and story’s" add, it wood say after I finish the add it wood say that I did not complete the add and had to do see a second add to get the 1 gem I saw the add for. Meaning I had to see 2 adds at the min to get a gem. (please note that this was my most common add) my only way to get the gem was to hope that I get the "something shadow legends", (I forgot what it was called) since when I get that add it gives me the gem and when I got to the 2 gem reword it is impossible to get the over add and I rewatched the add like 20 times already no joke so pls do at least 1 of the fallowing 1. Ban adds from that game 2. Give me the 2 gems for my time.

Absolutely Amazing + Suggestions. I absolutely adore this game. The stories, the characters, the outfits...the choices! I love how many options there are and how many story lines there are to follow, it create such a fun, immersive and individual experience. I especially love the stories ‘High School Story’ , ‘Endless Summer’ and ‘The Freshman’, mainly due to there variety of characters, multiple story lines and choices, as well as the many love interests, (thank you for having homosexual characters). As much as I love the game and its stories I do have a few suggestions that could help the players experience and view of the game. As many others have stated it would be a joy for diamond choices to be more accessible, possibly cheaper choices, or more ways to get diamonds, such as watching ads or replaying chapters. Also I would appreciate it if there were more ways to get keys, such as watching an ad, shortining the time that you have to wait to get a key or giving possibly extra keys. Another suggestion is if there could be abit more customization for characters. I know for a fact I would love to choose out of more hairstyles or even hair style colours, as well as more facial features. I rate Choices 4 stars for its immersive, fun and exciting experience it gives me. I could play this all day! I really adore all the characters, stories, plots, and choices. Keep up the good work, keep improving and please...keep making more stories!! Thank you. :)

Great game.... Choices is great. Most of the storylines are amazing. Though there is definitely room for improvement. Firstly, (and I'm sure I'm not the only one complaining about this) diamonds - or gems, whatever you wanna call them. Now I get the need for certain choices to be 'special' and that's ok, but not when the amount of diamonds it costs is through the roof! Like, 12 diamonds for something is reasonable, but 30?! Geez. And maybe cut down the cost of outfits too - it's really annoying. OR, if ya don't wanna change the cost, just make the reward at the end of the chapters bigger. Easy, right? Plus - and this is just a suggestion - maybe give like a big reward whenever you complete a book, like, 10 diamonds and 5 keys...? Is that too generous? Anyway, some more suggestions - time travel! Plz make a time travel story... like Doctor Who. And maybe some more sci-fi stuff. Across The Void is great. And more ghost/horror/magic sorta stuff like Braidwood Manor and It Lives In The Woods/Beneath. Or maybe like a pirate story with cool sword fights. Or a Steampunk one! That would be awesome! With airships and zeppelins! Sorry, kinda getting carried away... Plz take these into consideration if ya see them though. :)

Too expensive. Hi. Love ur work. But I tend to make the most logical decisions I can, and a lot (actually almost all) cost a lot of diamonds. I can get them back by watching ads, which I don’t mind as I usually have a book at hand, but you can only watch a limited number of ads. I collected a lot of the rewards, but one of them is the sign in one. Problem is, whenever I try to, it says there is a problem reaching the server. And keys are also the problem. I tried to play a game using a key but it took my key and wouldn’t let me play! We don’t get enough keys. I don’t want to pay for them, but I want more than just two. All in all, I only have two requests: check out why I can’t sign in, give us more keys when we start and make the “Golden Choices” (aka the ones that cost diamonds) cost a little less. I’m not into that much romance, and I play a lot of adventure ones, but one of them that is actually a romance story that I am interested in, costs a lot of diamonds to go out with the guy. I don’t ask for a lot of things, but this is one of the few times I have asked for help. Thanks ⚜️

Big Fan. I am totally obsessed with this app. Though I do wish that you could customise the characters a little more. It would also be good if you could select outfits and hairstyles that you’ve purchased from other stories, and use them in your characters. I have to admit I won’t okay a story if I don’t connect with the MC because of limited choices. It would also be good if you could change outfits and hairstyles at anytime during a story. I’ve paid real money for an outfit and my MC often gets put into a default outfit that I can’t change when ever I want. I like to fully immerse myself into a story so further customisable characters would just be the cherry on top of this already great ‘game’. Even if you could just access outfits and hairstyles that you have purchased from other stories.

Great stories however I have issues with my app updated. Updated: just finished playing ride or die bad boy romance it felt so unfinished I BEG OF YOU to give us book 2. I’m surprised with myself how much I enjoyed this book. Very enjoyable stories. I really enjoy playing this game however sometimes I watch the free diamond videos and at the end it says I’ve ended the video too early and miss out ( I watch until it counts down and then goes to “X”). Also the “play for 30 days” reward was removed not sure why or if it’s a glitch with the game? I’ve tried updating the app. It is a great game and I’ve had plenty of laughs with some of the story lines. I did purchase the vip member ship because it’s very addictive. I just wish there was more ways to be rewarded I have made diamond and key purchases before. Can’t wait to see more adventures from the pixel berry team.

Too much work for too little reward. Takes so long to build up enough diamonds to be able to make a premium choice and when I did make a premium choice it didn’t even really do much so felt like a hard earned letdown. If you redo a book to try different choices you don’t even earn another diamond to help. Would be good to at least be able to go through books you’ve completed again without needing keys if there’s no reward in doing so. It only builds up to 2 keys max so timeplay is also really restricted. Too many road blocks to make it just flat out fun. I guess the idea is to pressure you into paying so you can play and make choices, but if it doesn’t seem worth it when hanging in to build it up diamonds, and wait out keys, it’s certainly not going to seem worth it to spend real hard earned cash on it. The premium choices are just too expensive and not enough ways to earn diamonds. A lot of them also take you out of the story. Like someone offers you something for free but to accept it will cost you diamonds. This makes it feel a bit jarring.

My favourite mobile game. This game is amazing. The stories, the plots, the characters, the relationships, the ideas, the looks! I love it. I SERIOUSLY recommend it, it’s like reading a book and watching a movie at the same time and you control your own character and storyline. ALTHOUGH sometimes this crashes for me (I have an iPhone 6, a little old but not too old), and I miss out on an extra diamond after watching the ad, which happens about 20% of the time, I definitely think it’s worth it anyway. I find that the new VIP thing is very, very overpriced and if I could afford it, I definitely would’ve signed up for it!- but no, I can’t. I spend a lot of my free time on this game, and after 2 years I haven’t gotten bored a single bit. If you’re interesting in getting this game, I DEFINITELY recommend it!!!!!!! Good game (imo) but that illusory feeling of choice without spending.. So, I'll get right to the jist of it. I've liked what I've played so far. The stories are pretty good and entertaining (as far as I've gone in and read so far). But, the big but in the game that makes me rate it as 3*s is literally due to it feels like you have choices, but that feeling of progress feels like an illusion without dropping diamonds to unlock certain choices and also outfits. I mean sure you gain 1 diamond for everytime you comple a chapter in the story. But that doesn't really get you anywhere unless you grind for it (by the looks of things.) Also, there's also a matter of the 1 key every 2 hrs. and it's limit of 2 keys (playing free). So essentially 2 chapters every 4 hrs. due to it recharging in 1 every 2 hrs to a maximum of 2. I mean sure if you do pour in money, there's the unlimited key allocation for either a week or a month based subscription style payment. But the game overall outside of that key situation feels pretty pricey and/or grindy just to get all the choices and costumes unlocked. I mean sure it's a mobile game but Abit of fairness and leniency on the choices, diamond acquisition and costumes would be nice to make the game better. Overall, it's a good game. Specially if you're like me who's a sucker for these kinds of stories. 👍👌

Great game just one large issue. So far from playing this I’ve gotten pretty addicted an in LOVE basically. Don’t get me wrong I honestly really like this game (well I’m only playing elementalist right now) but there is ONE TREMENDOUS problem is the cost of these “golden choices” and the frequency of them. Why must it take 13-18 diamonds just to sped time with one character or to ask a QUESTION. It is completely unfair! Especially since we only get one or two diamonds after each chapter with the additional bonus of you watch an ad. I understand that this game probably needs money but please take it down a notch. Like less golden choices or a higher rate. I remember the first time I played it awhile back, I was so overwhelmed by how many golden choices there were after a few days of playing I deleted the app since it was such a turn off. So please do something about this, since things like this is a BIG turn off. But even with this negativity it still is a good game! And if you have the money go for it! And even if you don’t it is still a good experience so give it a go!

Great app, could make some improvements. Choices is a great app with lots of fun and addicting stories but there are a few things that could make this app better. 1. There are too many choices that require gems. In every chapter there’s at least one choice that requires gems. It’s often the ‘better’ choice but sometimes it’s not even worth it. It’s also incredibly hard to attain enough gems to regularly or even rarely get to choose the choice that require gems because for each chapter you complete you will only get 2 gems. To improve this problem perhaps you could allow the users to get more gems per chapter or lower the amount of choices that require gems. The daily rewards are a huge improvement though. 2. The keys take too long to reload. You have to wait 3 hours for just one key and many users like me want to read more than a chapter every 3 hours. I would recommend that you lower the time to wait for the keys to 1 or even half an hour. That way everyone can read more stories and feel satisfied that they don’t have to wait another 3 hours to read the next chapter. Most of the stories end on cliffhangers and there’s no problem with that, just many users really want to read the next chapter but must wait until the next key comes. Apart from these two problems this is an awesome app and in my opinion the best of its kind. Keep up the good work!

Good Concept, Decent Execution.. I quite liked this game. I used to play HSS and transferred across to Choices when it was first released. I absolutely loved The Crown and the Flame and Most Wanted, but I wasn't a fan of the rest. It is clear to see that more effort is put into romance, and I can understand that, but I really wanted another book of Most Wanted, particularly with the cliffhanger ending in Book One. I wanted to support the Devs. I have had great times playing this game. But I also feel slightly betrayed, because I remember the devs talking about free diamonds for watching the ads - the ones you have to watch every episode. A year on, and that still hasn't been introduced. So you still get one diamond per chapter. And each diamond decision costs about 15 diamonds minimum. You need to play a whole book to get one decision. Each time, it led up to a momentous decision, until you realise you never actually needed the choice. But if you don't make the premium choice, the text is designed to make you feel bad about it. Some of those choices are questionable anyway, particularly in "Rules of Engagement" why should you need to pay diamonds to eat the cake that is given freely to you? Devs, I am grateful to you for creating this app. I have had some fun times playing it, but the cost of decisions and the time it takes to rack up the diamonds to make it kept me from having a full experience.

Good, but has its flaws.. The game is great. I absolutely love it, but there’s just the little problem of the “golden” choices. It’s pretty ridiculous to me how you have to spend tons of diamonds, to select a choice that could drastically change your story, when it really shouldn’t cost that much, and really, shouldn’t even be considered a “special” choice. I understand that the developers probably get a lot of money from having these types of choices, as some people probably spend money to get enough diamonds, to be able to play good choices, but you guys should at least try to reduce the cost of these choices, or increase the amount of diamonds we get for completing a chapter. 1-2 diamonds for completing a whole chapter seems a tad bit unfair to me. But other than that, Choices is a great game, you should totally play it!

Excellent story, but micro transactions for dayz.. This game is so much fun with its choose your own story gameplay, with an actually enticing storyline, however for premium choices you need to pay an exorbitant amount of diamonds just to make a positive influence on people and situations, and the amount of money that the diamonds costs far outweigh the benefit of what you get. It works out to be between $3-$8 per choice depending on how important it is. I would be SO fine with having the option to watch an ad instead of paying 20 diamond at each important choice. I mean you get a singular diamond for each chapter you finish, which once the whole entire story is finished, you might have enough for one good choice. I would play this all day every day if I didn’t have to spend $40 a day to make it an interesting story. Please please please ease up with the crazy micro transactions!

Choices Review. ‘Choices’ is a really is a great game in which you can be your own character in various books on loads of fun and interesting topics. Particularly liked ‘America’s Most Eligible’. However, this game also has a downside. In each book, in every chapter there is at least one ‘golden choice’ that can only be made if you pay diamonds. Diamonds are only obtained at the end of each chapter in each book, and you only get two per chapter. There is a chance at the end of each chapter to get a free diamond by watching a video, but it does not work on my device so I can watch the video but I don’t get the diamond. The only other way to get diamonds is to pay real money, and not many people will pay just for a game token - let’s be realistic. This really needs to be improved. These ‘golden choices’ can cost between 8-50 diamonds and they majorly effect your path in the story and are a real setback if you do not accept them. (Which, of course you can’t accept them because you do not have enough diamonds.) I really recommend this game because a lot of the choices you can make without diamonds are really good and you feel like you are actually playing a significant role in the story. Can’t wait for ‘America’s Most Eligible, Season 2!’

Keep it up! Only one request.. I’ve been a huge supporter and an avid follower of Choices since the only stories on the shelf were ‘The Freshman’ and ‘Rules of Engagement’. The stories are captivating and the illustrations are truly stunning, as they enhance the experience and allow you to really immerse yourself in the story. The only gripe I’ve ever had is the diamonds situation. A while ago they implemented the “watch an ad for an extra diamond” system. It worked for about a week or so and months later, I’m still getting an error where I’m being promised that they’re working on the issue and would attempt to add it to my balance later. I’ve missed out on at least 30 diamonds because of this. I wish for this issue to be resolved soon, but the stories will always hook me in and keep playing. Keep it up Pixelberry!

Not the best.... I don’t mind this game, it’s actually really good with the fact that there are awesome (maybe make the chapters longer or more chapters/books of the same story)stories to read and how u can create your own character although there aren’t much stuff to choose from which limits interest (add more features that we can choose from to make more of a character)in making the person. I also dislike the fact that you always have to have enough diamonds because everything that pops up in a story as an extra scene is required diamonds, when in the first place it’s really difficult to earn a lot of diamonds or enough. Like I said I really like the story and the setting (create different music for each story and make more settings so they’re not the same as others) of them but I do wish there were more variety to choose from, so please improve it because I know that you can make it a whole lot better and if you guys don’t mind maybe add a little bit of movement to the characters to make it more realistic. (And I would like if u can make it easier to achieve diamonds). It’d also be cool if you can make more choices, things that will really effect the rest of story as it continues, it’s better if everyone has a almost different story line based on what you choose. Not bad.. I've been playing the crown and the flame, and will continue to play it until I have finished the series. The other genres aren't to my taste, they focus on romance and drama. They really need to add more fantasy or sci-fi stories. I found the game quite pleasing, the role playing aspect of the game is incredible. The only fault I have is if you accidentally click forward you don't have the option to go back and re-read the last speech bubble, which is kind of annoying when you are playing something like the crown and the flame. Every piece of information is vital. Another downside to the game is the keys, the gems I can understand . The game has to make money from somewhere right? But the keys you get are 2 every 2 hours, and stops at 2, unless you use them everytime you fill up which is really annoying when you're on a roll. I would at least prefer the option to watch an ad for a couple of extra keys a day. Other than that the game is ok.

Questionable. This game is great. however, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its flaws, setting aside the cost of ‘golden choices’ as I call them and the time it takes to amass diamonds to make choices that really shouldn’t be ‘choices’ at all. The game is great, it has a great balance between playfulness and seriousness in books such as endless summer, but also shows some depth into the lives of fictional college students trying to get by. However the games ‘golden’ choices and the diamonds that they cost really bring the game down... For example, each ‘book’ has around 12-18 chapters in them, for each chapter completed the player is rewarded with a single diamond.. occasionally with an optional ad for an extra diamond... so in total around 1-2 diamond per chapter.. but on average each chapter has an essential ‘golden’ choice that can drastically effect the progress each of these ‘golden’ choices cost around 12-50 diamonds....considering the importance of some ‘golden’ choices.. the balance between spending and earning is heavily on the side of spending, quite often I’ve had to pause my progress in one chapter... or book for days or weeks just to play other books to earn diamonds for a ‘golden’ choice.... that otherwise shouldn’t have been. Example having to spend diamond to take a cutlass off the wall to use as a weapon(when you have none) when your hotel is under attack....(book2 endless summer)

Quite fun to play but very flawed. As I’m sure many have said before me, diamonds and keys are the major flaw in this game. The golden choices in this game are way too expensive, costing 15 to sometimes 40 diamonds. Furthermore, the diamonds are hard to get, especially since you can only get one diamond after each chapter, and maybe a second one if you watch an ad. However, this issue was somewhat fixed when you added a new tab in the game to get diamonds by watching ads. I’m not sure if it’s just my game, but when I opened the game today, it wasn’t there! If this is just so you can milk players for more of their money, I can understand that. However! I’m sure you earn PLENTY of money from all of those ads, and it’s shouldn’t be an issue to put that tab back in the game! Another issue with this game is keys. Although I am not a hardcore player and the wait time doesn’t affect me, many other people would be stuck waiting for keys, which only has a limit of 2, at a rate of 1 key every 1.5 hours. This is completely unreasonable. There is no point in making players wait this long for keys and only for them to be stuck at 2. It would be much better if you either reduce the wait time or increase the number of keys we can have. Apart from all this, the game is pretty good with interesting stories and a wide variety of them too.

Good app but needs more books. I like choices and I don’t think it needs less diamond choices or there are not enough keys, you can just buy some, but I do think there aren’t enough books. I’ve read all of the books (except for anything 17+ like nanny affair, witness, surrender etc..) and I’m rereading bookseller the time because there aren’t any new ones. If you do make another one, please make open heart 4, open heart is one of my favourite series, and it could be you and your love interest, (I picked Ethan but that’s my personal choice) find out your pregnant and you are not ready to have a baby, and it’s either one baby or three babies, and you move in together and announce your dating, and there could be another plot twist with bloom like he doesn’t approve and tries to get you fired or something like that. I think that’s a really good story and I would read it, but that’s just me. I’m sure other people would really like that too though.

Good but I still have to say goodbye. I have really enjoyed the storyline of the games. They were very fun. However I do agree with some other reviewers that it’d be nicer if your choices actually affected the overall storyline more. In saying that, the main reason I have to finish playing and delete this app is the golden choices and their cost. Being able to earn 2 gems per chapter plus 1 bonus gem (that fails and is never added about 30% of the time) means that in order to really get the most out of a chapter, players have to spend like $100. Each Gold choice is a minimum of 12 and maximum of 30. I want to enjoy the games to the max but can’t afford the exorbitantly high prices. Even if it was just a little more reasonable I could concede - all apps try to make money. But as there aren’t many ways to earn gems (via watching more ads or downloading other games etc) and the cost of choices are so high I must delete on the completion of the current book. I promised I would to not tempt myself. Because honestly it would be a waste.

So it's a really good game and and I love how you get to create your own character but the gem choices where u have to use the diamonds to do something I think they should be a little less important. Like chose a weapon that could save your life or just leave the shop without the weapon. Like you don't know if u could die or lose your friend in the future. I think they should still be there but just less diamonds. I also think you should be able to write your own stories in the game and put them on a page because when u run out of keys u have to sit there for half an hour just for a key and u have nothing to do so if u could that would be really cool. Suggestions about the TICKETS n’ the unnecessary WAITING TIME!. This game is amazing and gives me a chance to make my own fantasy come true. This app makes me feel like I’m in the same situation as my character and the stories can be so breathtaking. But I’m really annoyed the fact we are only allowed to access 2 tickets every hour and a half, this just makes me very impatient when I’m so anxious of what is going to happen next! Waiting for just 2 tickets and 2 episodes for one and a half hour or more, is so irritating. I think giving the readers on the app around 3 tickets or 4 (if you feel generous), and make the waiting time more officiant (like 2 tickets and have to wait for one hour and a half or more), this would also frustrate less about the unnecessary long waiting time. Also would persuade more people to read more stories, making the reader more engage on the story.

Gems and Waiting? But over all fun!. I really like this game, the stories are usually well written, interesting and fun! However, when playing the game you quickly run into issues. First of all, there are way to many golden choices (where you have to pay gems) then necessary, often these choices are pointless and very expensive. It takes a long time to gain gems for such choices just for you to spend all of them in one go on a option that shouldn’t need to be a choice. Secondly, you can only read 2 chapters at a time due to the lack of new incoming ‘keys’ which take 3 hours to renew. This means you wait an incredibly long time to read the next chapter which can be painful. Overall, this is a good game with pretty entertaining story lines and features, however there are a few annoyances you have to deal with in the regular. These issues are easily fixable and the company should take into consideration implementing changes to counteract these problems. - Regards a customer

HSS - Simply WOW!!!. I only just discovered Choices a week ago and after looking at a couple of books I discovered High School Story and I was completely hooked. I played through both books and completed the final chapter today on release. I can honestly say it caught me up in the romance and drama and I’m addicted. The chance to romance Michael with my Alex (male) made the story even better. Thank you for creating a world where gender and sexuality is equally accepted. I can’t wait for book 3 and what is next in store for the romance with Michael the bad boy turned hopeless romantic now that he is love. Hehe. My only wish was the premium content was not so expensive. I spent a lot this last week on these two books because I wanted the full experience of just how deep I could go into the story. Please consider better rewards for completing chapters, or loyalty rewards for those who have invested heavily in your amazing stories.

Great game but the issue with gems and keys.... I've been playing for a week, and I must say it's very entertaining! However as most other reviewers have said, the wait time for keys, or the fact you only get one gem per chapter is ridiculous. At times when I want to make a choice, I'm restricted due to the lack of gems. Surely to make the game more enjoyable some changes have to be made. I understand the game needs to make money, but I'm pretty sure with the advertisements decent money is being made already, and yes fair enough charge a bit for gems and keys, but have some alternative way to get more gems and keys too please. Someone suggested a 'spin-the-wheel' type of thing, maybe have that once a day? Or increase the number of gems collected to 2 per chapter completed? And perhaps lower the prices for choices too, as some are way too expensive. Aside from that no other issue and this game would've been worthy of 5-stars otherwise. Please here your audience Pixelbury Studios! The more of us you keep happy the faster the growth of your game :)

I'm agreeing with most people........ Choices is enjoyable and so I'm pleased by that. I always play this every night and I don't know what I will do without this game. It's like my bedtime story... but there are ALWAYS disadvantage/s in ALL games and the negative outcome/s in this game is diamonds. Your team has great stories anyone can enjoy and so I admire that but it goes downhill when it comes to spending diamonds. It kind of ruins the story. The things I really want to do in these books and chapters affects my personal opinion towards you team (but definitely not in a negative way). I just hope your team gets rid of diamonds or get diamonds quicker so I can play these chapters, with no worry (especially if I want to build relationships) Anyways, I hope your team reaches to these requests and my perspective to this game. At the same time I am still satisfied. :)

Diamonds are the downfall.. I do love the game and the stories however hate how many diamonds you need to use for the choices especially when you only get 1 diamond after each chapter. Makes it hard to progress. 250 diamonds for about $30 is ridiculous considering that 250 diamonds will last maybe 3 chapters depending on how many diamonds the choices require. I don’t want to spend money on games like this for it to be completely gone in just a few chapters. I get completely lost in the stories and could play them all day but the cost of diamonds and lack of free ones stops me and discourages me to play anymore. Suggestion: earning diamonds throughout the chapters might be better. For instant when a relationship or career improves from our free choices we could get some diamonds. I think earning more throughout the chapters is better than just getting one at the end of each, as I would have to play 25 episodes just to get 25 diamonds to make one choice of outfit.

AMAZING GAME (just one problem). I love this game sooo much, the stories are amazing. This is definitely my FAVOURITE game I have ever played. And I would recommend this game to anyone and EVERYONE!! But I for one am not allowed to purchase any thing for games, so this makes making choices REALLY annoying cause I have to let someone down, give up on my crush and even worse !! Even though u guys need to make money somehow, I would recommend making the choices a little bit less expensive, so instead of making a choice 20 diamonds, what about making them 1 or 2 diamonds then it’s less frustrating for those that can’t purchase extra diamonds. Daylight Robbery. The game kept popping up as recommended app, and I thought I’d give it go and see what it’s all about. At first I thought it was silly, but the concept got me hooked. I couldn’t stop playing and fell in love with the game. I’m giving a 3 star, the 3 is for the game itself, it would be 5, but I can’t bring myself to do that as each chapter requires so much of my own money in order to access the majority of the game and outfit choice, which also requires money, and if you don’t select the paid options then you’re missing out on the scenes that are crucial in the book. It’s ok to have items to “add on” at a cost, but in order to ask for users money, you need to be fair and look at having the main options as free, and any extra bonuses users won’t mind paying as they don’t feel like they’re being taking for a ride by the creators to take all their money. Rethink your structure, rethink the user experience and determine the experience you want them to have. Look at Hayday for a great example, you can play completely for free, but you’re always tempted by extras that cost money to enhance and advance in the game at a quicker or more effective rate. If you do that, I’m sure your users would be wrapped with the game and in turn, you’d make more $$ and gain more users. Be smart about YOUR choices!

Addicted!. I got completely hooked on this game! It’s great quality with interesting stories and gives you real choices unlike some other apps where the choices are too similar or constrained. Very immersive and you feel like you are your character. Definitely better quality and a better user experience than some similar apps. Only complaint is that I have spent way too much money! You probably have to wait or buy diamonds even after getting VIP to make the choices you want. Still it has less diamond choices than some other apps. VIP should come with a bunch of diamonds each month to make it worth the money, in my opinion. I get they need to make money and have no objections except it is just a bit overpriced. All in all I’m loving this game with well crafted stories, clean app design and nice graphics. Thanks for the entertainment!

Desperately Needs Attention. I’m just going to get straight to the point, diamonds, specifically the ones you get from watching ads in the new tab. I get the first diamond without any worry, but the ones after that are extremely annoying to get, i have to sit though a 20-30 second ad to start with, but sometimes I don’t even the diamond after that! I have to watch the ad all over again and sometimes I never get the diamond, and I have to wait for the timer to reset! It tells me I stopped the ad before it finished. I even left it for half an hour once and I still didn’t receive it. It seems to only affect specific ads, but sometimes I can get through without any problems at all. I really hope this can be fixed, I mean what’s the point of adding this feature if it doesn’t work properly. Thank You. 😊

Pros and Cons. I absolutely love this game, but there are still some things that I think are absolutely ridiculous. Like the choices that cost diamonds. I think that we should be able to choose what ever choice we want without having to pay for it with diamonds. And I also think that having a limit of how much we play is pretty stupid. I am playing Rules of Engagment, and I can only play 2 chapters because I ran out of keys. I also am pretty annoyed because at the moment I am playing Rules of engagement book 1 and it's pretty annoying because I don't want to really have a relationship with that entrepreneur guy, William but the games chooses it for me. I think you should add more choices, so if someone asks you on a date, you can either say yes or no. Please make some changes because it will make your game so much better.

Such a great game but.... This game is so good. Really fun to play. A few improvements could be made by making the keys refill more frequently and make more of them instead of just two at one time. They also take forever to refill which is annoying cause the storylines are amazing and I only ever wait to keep going. Also maybe make the player earn more gems easier such as through watching more ads instead of just 1-3 gems at the end of each chapter. Instead maybe make it 5-10 gems per ad cause it is EXTRMELY FRUSTRATING to never have enough to get to the sections in the story that actually make the story work. One gem an episode never seems to get very far when the cost of some options are 10-25 gems per option. If this doesn't get changed there is LITERALLY NO POINT as u can't actually get to the important stuff. Other than this this is an AMAZING GAME! So much fun to play. Really addicting!! Love the royal romance storyline. Really good.

Wow. Ok this game is really fun, very well made. I was playing “the royal romance” and apparently I’m so starved of affection that I dropped about $100 on coins to buy nice outfits because the prince says the nicest things. Everyone falls in love with you in the game... I’ve never felt more desired in my life. I think I might break up with my partner so I can find the same passion and desire I’ve found in this game. My partner is not affectionate at all, never has been. But this prince tells me everything I’ve ever wanted him to say to me... I now have trust issues because he sweet talked me, we banged in the garden and then he proposed to another woman anyways.... I spent all that money and didn’t even get the prince in the end!! Honestly though I will probably never play this game again because the coins are so expensive ... good game, you played on my loneliness, got my $100 and gave me trust issues but you’ve shot yourself in the foot because I will not open the app again. I’ve been hurt too many times.

I love it but it could be better. I love this game, particularly the story “The Royal Romance” and I think the stories are well made and all the plot twists are exciting and unexpected! It really hooked me! I would definitely recommend this game to others. However to play through a “chapter” of the story you need a key which generates for free every 1 and a half hours and you can only have a maximum of two. It is very frustrating sometimes when you can’t continue to read your story and I find it slightly ridiculous that you have to wait three hours to play a game for 10-20 minutes!! As well as that there are “golden choices” that you can buy with diamonds that unlock a new and fun path for you to play. In my experience it doesn’t vastly change the overall outcome of the story but it can be extremely fun to play through however you only earn one diamond by reading one chapter but the “golden choices” cost 15-40 diamonds!!! And the “golden choices” appear in basically all of the chapter multiple times. Overall it’s a brilliant game that I simply love however it can be extremely frustrating and I even deleted the entire game once!

Only good if you’re prepared to pay $100’s of dollars of your own hard earned money.. I love this game but unfortunately I will need to finish the stories I have been playing and delete the app as I find it extremely annoying that we only get 1 diamond per chapter! Most of the outfits cost 19 - 25 diamonds yet each story has about 19 chapters! So in order to unlock 1 outfit I pretty much have to either play a whole story and a half missing out on any extra gold choices in the chapters or I have to spend my own money which is very expensive for the amount of diamonds you get! The game also is geared to make the gold choices affect the whole outcome of the story! And the story will manipulate you in a way that the characters will basically say to you that without choosing the golden outfit you’re not going to get a good outcome! Literally after choosing the non-gold option will the characters say “I knew you didn’t have taste in fashion”, or “you won’t impress ... now”, the best reply you will get is “this will do I guess”. If the amount of diamonds you get per chapter were upped to 5-10 per chapter I would continue to play. In order to fully enjoy this game at the moment you would literally have to pay $100’s of dollars to get full enjoyment from it.

Ads!. I originally gave this a five-star review because the game and its stories are just amazing. Like honestly I suggest trying out the Americas Most Eligible and the It Lives books. Completely amazing. But what ruins the fun is that if you don’t want to spend money it quickly becomes almost impossible to gain the diamonds (or gems, whatever you wanna call em) due to faulty ads. Because you get two diamonds every time you finish a chapter and possibly another four every twelve hours. But besides finishing the chapter, and one of the other four all the rest require you to sit through ads. And almost all of these ads are the Lost Island Blast Adventure. And after watching them a little pop-up will appear and say that something went wrong, error, etc and that they will try and fix the diamond balance as soon as possible and never do. I’ve lost at least twenty to thirty diamonds because of this error and it is enough to make me want to delete the app. I do recommend playing it but I just want to warn you that you’ll likely become angry at how messed up the ads are and how it’ll become impossible to get diamonds out of certain ads.

Game price is WORTH IT. Pros: I would say this is better than most of the visual novel games I’ve played (talking to you Chapters) since most of them took away the ads awards to retrieve diamonds and swapped it with surveys, etc. Of course the diamonds is essentially when it comes to picking the good options in the game (pay to win); so I’m very pleased that Choices chose to keep the ads rewards option! It shows that they still want us peasants to play it as well :)) Cons: I wish there were more stories…. Jk that’s not all I have to say XD Okay so there were times that I would accidentally go out from the app while I’m in the middle of a choice that has a countdown and yeah, when I came back to it the countdown ended which is very upsetting; please fix this :’D Also wish there’s a way that you can reread the stories without having to replay them. I cannot wait to see more stories from here! My first and favourite story is The Royal Masquerade, love my love triangles 💖

Disappointments. I’m a firm believer of customer satisfaction, especially when it comes to my work. However, this app fails to live it to satisfactory standards. Many a time, I have been frustrated by having to choose choices under a timer when a timer should not be issued, having a short timer meaning options were unreadable forcing a panicked choice and even missing the choice you had intended for and, when it comes to optional choices through payment of diamonds, leaves to another disappointment in itself. Simple, non-critical choices are locked by payments, despite not needing to be. It feels like the company is searching for the easiest way to take absurd amounts of money from its customers, despite already having sponsorship. There are many people who cannot afford to pay for diamonds, forcing their freedom of choice out of their hands and limiting their enjoyment of the stories. Also, some stories just make me want to throw my phone by the predictability and, sometimes, stupidity of the stories I read. If I wanted a multiple choice story, I’d buy one from a book store.

Complaine. Dear pixel berry today I would like to talk to you about some improvements you could do so I got two problems happening first I was playing rules of engagement ad it took a key and I didn’t get to read a chapter and it also happened again today I finished the book and it said I had one more chapter to read so clicked it and it came to the ending like last time so it took the key and I didn’t read a chapter again I was very disappointed I love Rules of engagement but that’s the only book I the whole game that I find interesting ad exciting the other ones are boring and not interesting rules of engagement was so good I read the whole story and started it again and I was hoping you could not let every chapter need a key in fact I think there shouldn’t be any keys and I was also thinking of getting rid of buying things with gems 💎 because no on likes it so when I got to pick the vail and the wedding dress I didn’t get enough to buy the dress I really wanted so as the vail and the lavender bridesmaids dresses my dad didn’t Let me buy some gems with money so I had to use the free one that I didn’t like because for wedding dress I don’t like the very small one as in the ones that go to the bottom of your body and is like rectangle I would really appreciate it if you could get rid of gems and keys and also the problems I had I hope you can stay in touch with pixel berry Love and regards Elizabeth.

Dope game. I’ve completed almost all of the stories so it’s safe to say I’m a bit addicted. A lot of people complain about diamond choices and stuff but the app’s gotta make money in more ways than just ad sense. Just do what every other player does: play maybe two books that you love and use diamond choices for the important stuff (e.g. weapons, exclusive scenes with LI, learning skills, etc; things like outfits are expensive and don’t reallyyyy do anything) and then play a few books on the side that you’re not that into and use those books as a diamond mine. I think Pixelberry is a lot better than other apps in terms of how many diamonds you receive and how much choices cost (and the actual effect of the choice feels a bit more ‘worth it’ than apps like episode). There are definitely some ~average~ stories but there are also some really awesome ones that I love and so overall I think it’s a really cool and additive app.

Greed. The game its self and the stories are great well thought out plenty of choices different paths to stories THE ONLY ISSUE with the game are the makers are greedy you only get 2 keys in total(energy to play a chapter) and they take 2 hours to regenerate 1, obvious choices that everyone would want to press cost an absurd amount of diamonds (special currency) for each chapter you get one diamond and a possibility to watch and ad every now and again to earn a diamond now ordinary this probably wouldnt be that much of an issue but the cost for special choices were you need diamonds are extremely over priced som cost 30diamonds this is just greed motivated makers wanting everyone to spend money to buy keys and diamonds: my thoughts,if they developers fix this issue by increasing the max value of keys held to say 10 and regenerate times to 1hour each and either allow more diamonds earnt per chapter or reduce the cost of special choices making it still reasonably hard to use diamonds but not nearly impossible which is what it is now it would probably be the best game app in its genre No doubt only time will tell if they listen to feedback and want the best version of the app it can be

Brilliant stories. I really love all the stories - like all the other reviewers. I however find the time for the keys not a major problem, as I am caught up on all my favourite stories (I play 5 of those available) and find that with the staggered release dates (Some books in Thursday, others on Saturday) I can generally play all the new chapters in one sitting. However the diamonds are a bit annoying. I have given in and bought a pack of diamonds twice, but even then it only buys 3-5 premium choices. I would like it more if there was more incentive to buy diamonds (more value for the amount of money it costs), and an option to earn more diamonds by replaying stories and watching ads. Definitely a great game, the minor issues I’ve mentioned don’t really take away from the gameplay or the story but would take it from ‘good’ to ‘awesome’.

Great! A little adjustments would be helpful, though.... I love Choices. The stories are great, especially the adorable relationships and options available between you and the other characters. It’s definitely something worth waiting for; with those keys to replenish. However, the keys could be improved if the max. capacity increased to at least 3. An alternative, however, would be to at least reduce the wait time, because waiting 3 hours for only 2 keys = 2 chapters is a little torture, especially when the stories are packed with cliffhangers. It’d also be great if we receive 2 diamonds instead of one, because outfit choices + development choices always cost 15+ which makes you have to go through 15 whole chapters again and again. It’d be legendary if you could also adjust the ads. It’s just that some videos don’t play and you can’t do anything so you have to constantly restart the game, hoping that the chapter doesn’t play an ad. It’d be amazing and greatly appreciated if you could make these changes for us! Thank you :)

More free keys. I like he system that you guys have in place now, but you only get 2 free keys and then you have to wait 3 hours, so it takes months to finish one book. Ads are a great way to earn money, so you could have something set up where you can earn a free key for every ad you watch.

Been a fan since day 1. Been a fan of cause of death and now I am a fan of choices. This is my favourite app for iPhone. I do have to say that diamond costs are way too high. I understand the need to make money off of them, but it's really a turn off when every good decision costs diamonds.... Perhaps change it up a bit. Also earning 1 diamond a chapter is kind of ridiculous. Just have a suggestion here, maybe we can watch an ad or something daily to earn 3 diamonds etc.... Despite that I look forward to more stories and updates!

Why is it back down to 8 ads again?. I’m genuinely so so disappointed. I was so excited when there was 100 ads, it felt like I could finally play the game. Now that it’s back down to 8 I won’t be playing this game anymore, and I know many other fans share my sentiment. I thought the 100 ads was a permanent feature? It is clear that you guys don’t value your fanbase.

Waste of money. Why are choices so expensive? The choices I want to do cost so many gems. And I'm expected to pay for gems. No thanks.

What Choices?. For a game called choices there really aren’t that many to be made. And out of the few decisions you can make half of them are money grabs where you need to spend money to interact with it.... huge disappointment.

Bring back open heart. Open heart was the one if the best books on choices and it’s been like 6 months since it’s ended and you keep bringing back a bunch new stories and stories that aren’t that good. So would you please just bring back open heart already. And fix ur gem system bro that crap is fricked up like u literally can’t choose the options u want bc y’all be givin us like 5 gems and if u want to choose an option that cost gems in the books it’s like 30 gems like the highest the gems should go for an option is 15.

No Diamonds from Ads. After playing an episode, I watch an add to get a diamond, but after it ends, for the last 8 or so episodes I’ve played, it ALWAYS says there is a connectivity problem and won’t award me the diamond! I’ve tried with wifi and even with my data to fix any “connection” problems, but nothing has worked. I’ve lost many opportunities to gain diamonds. Not great.

Fun but too many diamond extras. This is a fun game BUT there is way too many good choices that require diamonds. Really ridiculous! It’s good that we can get 5 free diamonds a day but choices are crazy with the amount of diamonds you need, lower it please!

Disappointed with recent recent issues. I love this game so much but it makes it so frustrating to play with all of the reward glitches. I constantly watch ads from which I get an error telling me “the balance will attempt to be added later”. It never is. More recently I would get stuck in a loop of an ad that would tell me I stopped watching too early. Also, the 3rd reward in the daily rewards never loads. It makes the game so much less enjoyable.

All the male characters have too tiny heads. And all the female characters look like they’re either slack-jawed or have beards. Truly the ugliest game of its kind. Also you have to pay to make choices so it’s essentially an ugly brick of a game.

Disappointing. I totally get that app makers need to make money. So I understand that keys are limited and take a long time to refresh unless you buy them. But the diamonds that you have to buy to basically play the game are not worth it. It’s a rip off and it’s a shame that only the good decisions can be bought with them. Unless you want your character to not be friends with anyone or be nice to anyone. Then you don’t need diamonds.

I used to love this app. I love this app and still do but only because of the old meaningful, interesting, and amazing stories they used to make. My favourites are: It Lives In The Woods, It Lives Beneath, and Veil Of Secrets. The storylines and depth of those stories are honestly so captivating and they could make great movies and books! But now the authors at pixel berry are trying way to hard to become like the app ‘Episode’. All they put out is cheesy, stupid romance stories with basic storylines and predictable plots. What happened to the depth? What happened to the originality? Really disappointing. Where is the variety in these new books? Not every reader enjoys corny love romance.. the ‘It Lives Anthropology’ is the best series on this app, so upsetting it isn’t being continued. Currently reading ‘Veil of Secrets’ again since it’s the only good mystery book on this app. But seriously, look at all of the content under “Romance” and compare that to the horror and mystery! Start putting out more diverse content. Also disclaimer: I literally love romance! Just not the idiotic ones pixelberry makes, very cringy! I don’t think anyone is going to read this but if you do, please make a change! For an old fan. Thank you!

Extremely expensive. This app is a waste of time because all the good/smart choices cost diamonds to unlock. Sometimes the chapter ends early if you don’t cough up. Only play this game if you have a couple hundred dollars to burn.

Too much. I love this app and highly recommend but the options for diamonds cost to much money. It would be better if we got more diamonds after every chapter or lower the prices for options to like 5-15 diamonds.

Still waiting for books!. No royal heir 3. It says there’s one. And how royal heir book 2 ended, there needs to be one! But somehow it skipped right past it and goes to royal holiday?! Did royal heir book 3 never get added to the app? Also still waiting for more chapters for open heart book 2. I might give up on the app. Seems very silly that we can’t even complete books. All that time spent and even money spent for diamonds and choices only to have it waisted. Very disappointing

Fix your ads. I love this game but honestly the family guy ad will not work. I can’t get my free diamonds as the ad always says I never finished watching. Fix it please. It is hard enough with how expensive it is to play this game waiting for the few free diamonds is bad enough.

Too much money. I loved this game until i realized it charged you ridiculous amounts of money to even play. You don’t get any diamonds for progress, romance or friendship points and it takes forever to load chapters. Massive money grab for the developer. I refuse to pay for something trivial, I’m deleting it and finding another story app to enjoy.

Amazing but awful. So I’ve been playing this game for a while now and so many stories like “Rules of Engagement” and “The Royal Romance” have gotten me hooked. The only problem is the fact that you have to pay 10-30 gems for a good scene and you get 2 keys and that’s it for 2 hours; no extras. I’ve spent money on this game, and sometimes it was worth it and others it was just a downright waste. I get the company needs to make money somehow, but making it so expensive makes me want to delete this game. I say if you’re willing to spend money and deal with wait times then go ahead.

Book quality is awful.. I’ve been playing choices since release and following PB for years before choices existed. From about 2016-2019 the books were always high quality and you could tell they had effort put in. They made books for every genre and worked hard to make each book interesting. The past couples years, though, the target audience changed. They only seem to care about middle-aged women and most books are romance/steamy. So many players who have been around for years are leaving the app because every book is bland and the same plot. Book series that were amazing have dropped so much in quality. What was once my favorite book now only focuses on one male LI, who is the ONLY white main character. I really used to enjoy this app and it makes me sad to think about what it’s become.

pay to play is getting real old. i’ve been using the app for a few years now and i’m really over the whole paying for EVERY choice that makes the book fun. don’t bother with this app. just go read an actual comic book since the “choices” in the book don’t ever affect the story anyway. the vip isn’t even worth it. 10 diamonds a day when every choice is 15+ diamonds??? what a joke. do better pixelberry. i would gladly pay a monthly fee to not have to use diamonds to make choices but y’all are too cheap to ever do that. i’m deleting this app, anyone reading this should too.

Unfortunate. This game has two stories that I absolutely love and I’m completely obsessed with, but most choices require between 15-30 diamonds, which is unfortunate because free diamonds can’t be obtained near fast enough to unlock half of them. The diamonds are, in my opinion, obscenely expensive, it was $7 plus tax for 60 diamonds and I’m never paying it again! The game would be so much more fun if the diamond choices either were rarer or more diamonds were given, either with different opportunities or just as a larger reward for reading.

Not enough keys.... Story's are good (so far anyway since I've only gotten through half of one BECAUSE of the amount of keys were given...) It sucks a lot. I downloaded the other app like this called "episode" because of this apps lack in keys, and ways to get keys... I should be able to watch a ad to get a key now and then or SOMETHING. Or you guys could fix the amount of time we have to wait for keys to like 10 minutes at MOST. Waiting almost two hours for ONE key is ridiculous! The only thing I like about this app more then episode is that you don't have to pay for every single thing you do and wear.. Also this app makes it possible for us to build up diamonds without actually buying them.. So we're able to get at least a few things that cost diamonds. You guys need to fix the key situation... It makes all the other awesome things on your app useless since we can't use it with no keys...

Good to bad. Was originally exciting but diamonds then became everything and the storylines fell flat. Some stories should not have had sequels after sequels and some stories that needed sequels never got theirs

Rewards. This issue has been happening for the past 3 weeks. Every time I watch an add, and try to claim the diamond. There’s always an error saying I didn’t watch the full add. Please fix this.

Too expensive. I like the concept of the game but the gems are too pricy for how little you would get for them. It’s not worth it as you end up with little to no choices. I’ll finish out the first story I was given but will delete the app after that. I want good value for money and you could easily spend $100 on one story which is just ridiculous.

For real?!…. The germs cost to much! I can barely choose a nice outfit and all that…Plus you have to pay for keys? Nah nah nah. You game is fun but reduce the cost of the germs and keys. Thank you!

First Impression Review. I haven’t been playing long but this is my opinion in bullet form to keep it as simple as possible . - Diamond options require too many diamonds. Considering how slow it is to get them, it is like paying gold to get the more interesting options - Keys take too long to regenerate. You can only have 2 at once and it takes around 3 hours to get another free key (assuming that at least 1 key is used)... Atleast increase the key limit or give us other ways to get keys if you are going to make us wait 3 hours to get more keys - Too many diamond options. It really isn’t a choice game if the more interesting choices cost diamonds and there aren’t enough ways to get diamonds for there to be that many diamond options and cost that much... If the options costed 1-5 diamonds then that would be more fair but the options cost 16-30 diamonds to use them - Romance stories. It is mainly romance stories, yes they have other kinds of stories but I noticed that more of them focus on relationships than anything else - A pay to choose game. If you are like me and unwilling to buy diamonds then your ability to choose your options is extremely limited. Whoever had the idea for this game should had just written novels instead - Ad stories. No story you see from their ads is here, if you are here because of the stories in the ads then expect to be disappointed since you will not see any of them. Ever . I wanted to give this app a higher rating but it received the rating it got because of what I just said here . I will still be playing because this game doesn’t spam pop up ads at me like the other ones and will save my progress, if it wasn’t for that then I would had dropped the app by now . I use to play another choice game long ago but stopped when all my progress was lost, from what I remember was that you didn’t have to pay diamonds for the options and there were other ways to get the story passes, real money options were truly optional in that game, If there was a way to restore my progress then that other choice game would be better than this

Disappointment. I'm really sad because I would love to play through the High School Story chapters but I just can't play this game with the current system it has. I used to spend a bunch of money on Pixelberry each year, happily, but this game is just so unfaithful towards its fans. You need diamonds to unlock any of the interesting choices and the diamonds are really expensive. If you do buy diamonds, your best bet is to stick to one story and one story only. The title of the game itself is a lie, because without spending diamonds you don't really have any choices at all. I would happily come back to this game and other Pixelberry comics if they stopped cheating their fans out of money. Please stop, I used to love you guys...

Help! Awesome game but crashes. I redownloaded this game after a few months. unfortunately when i deleted the game i was playing an episode, so now when i open the redownloaded app it crashes upon loading 135/135 assets for lovehacks, and i cant exit. help! i want to play this again...

It's sucks. Why we need to pay for diamonds and keys?? This is sooo insane. That's why candy crush will ever stay my number one game.

Listen. A lot of people don’t want to be spending too much money on diamonds and keys. I can deal with the two keys every FOUR hours thing, and I know you’ve raised the diamonds but it’s ridiculous! The outfits, items, scenes, in one chapter I’m pretty sure at least 50 diamonds are asked for! And yes we can decline, but it doesn’t give us leverage in the books! If you want more people to play you need to be more fair. I understand you need to make money but just increase the adds and give us diamonds for it so it’ll be worth our time and yours. If you’re going to be asking for so many diamonds at least provide us with some even if it’s a daily reward thing I would just like more without buying it makes the game horrible and is one of the reasons my friends stopped playing.

Red carpet diaries. Okay so I’m on book 3 about to get married, and it asks me to spend 20 diamonds on a wedding dress. I had spent the only diamonds I had to spend my time with my fiancé, but they didn’t even have sex. So it was a waste of spending diamonds when i could’ve used it on the dress. Why did you make all of the other parts of the wedding available during the story but the wedding dress is on the actual wedding day? The option for whatever dress you like should’ve been available prior of the wedding day so that we could know straight ahead if we have enough diamonds or not. It’s just really wasted. Fiancé’s didn’t even have sex yet I had to spend 20 diamonds for the after party. All they did was kiss and moan, but no actual sexual stuff. If you’re gonna add the sex music, then let the people have sex for goodness sake. They’re already about to get married. How are you gonna ask, “what bouquet do u want, what food do you want, etc” but then you didn’t even give that option for the wedding dress. Who buys a wedding gown on their wedding day? That was stupid writing tbh. Imaging spending diamonds for a sexy scene with your fiancé, only to be interrupted by the same ppl (MORE THAN ONCE), ending up not having sex at all. Then you gotta pay ANOTHER 20 for a dress when the option to choose a dress literally could’ve been after picking the food or the venue.

Not worth playing. I saw this game through an add and decide to download the game. It started of really fun but when you finished reading the chapter and realized you had no keys left to continue the frustration begins to set in. The only option the game gives you either buy keys or wait 2 hours for 1 Key with maximum of 2 keys allowed no matter how much time you wait. Therefore making the game much more harder to play because of the limited keys. Not only do you need keys to play a chapter but to make a situation better you have to use diamonds. The only way to get diamonds is either 1 at the end of every chapter or buying diamonds. This app is not worth spending a dollar on. While I do admitted I waisted 5 dollars on it the diamonds you get from that are done in one chapter. This game try’s its best to double down on your wallet by making you buy keys and diamonds. With no method of earning keys and diamonds without using money. They might as well charge you for the game and make things more accessible within the game with an option of buying things if you want to such as outfits. Game has potential but not worth the amount of money they want you to waist don’t Recommend to anyone until this issue is resolved. Find a way to make a in game currency that you earn by either achieving something or adds. Till then this game is worthless

Shameless diamond system. Some of the stories are excellent, but the developers are ruthless with the diamond system. Wish we could enjoy the story without it costing so much for our choices. The entire system is framed around this diamond concept in which the better choice costs you, instead of the choice being less cut and dry and involving more surprise in their consequences. “Life is Strange” is a different app that is a great example of this idea: You pay for each chapter and then do what you want; not always sure of what will happen later as a result. Choices misses out on the opportunity to make something really great by focusing way too much on the diamonds. I get that they want to make money off of the app, but there is too much pressure to pay multiple times in one chapter and its too expensive. If the developers used a model in which the diamond choices cost less, I think they would ultimately attract a larger crowd and make the same profit via more people paying more often, because they are happier and don’t feel swindled. Instead, they are taking the route of making things more expensive to compensate for the people who don’t want to pay and are ultimately scared off. Building customer trust and loyalty should matter more than immediate gain. Its a shame.

Just a Few Things. Now, Choices is an amazing app, and for all the content and the quality of it, it has received 5 stars. But since the newest updates, I’ve had a few complaints.. 1. After completion of a chapter, the total diamonds earned has now been changed back to one instead of the generous two. 2. The daily reward time limit has now switched to 22 hours I believe, but I understand how people may have used the 12 hour limit as a hack to get twice in a day, but you now receive 5 diamonds instead of 4, so I guess I can let this one slide. 3. Wait time for a single key has now also changed to 3 hours. This is a bit much, seeing as you still can only have a maximum of 2 keys for free. But I do understand this is a way for the app to earn money by people buying more keys. These complaints are only from the newest update but I still do love Choices. I have read sooo many Choices series and books and I have loved a lot of them. I can’t think of any books I haven’t liked, and I just want to thank everyone behind the scenes who make the app so enjoyable. So, thank you. Thank you to all the creators of the books for making them seem real to feel a connection to the characters. Again, thank you.

Love Game but WAY TOO $$$ TO PLAY!. Okay I absolutely love this game!! I’ve been playing the royal romance (I’ve finished book one and am going through book two right now) BUT I have had to spend WAY too much money to experience different scenes and improve relationships with characters in the book. I’m honestly ashamed of how much money I spent just to play this game. It costs like 20-30 diamonds just to experience different scenes that aren’t even that great once you finish them sometimes. Another thing, I feel like the story line isn’t really letting me choose what I want sometimes and it purposely guides me in one direction without letting me choose the other... The illustrations and pictures are amazing though!! And I really get into the books a lot and I fall in love and hate some of the characters! The only thing that would make this app A TON better is fixing the diamond situation somehow. I’ve seen other people say maybe let us watch ads to earn diamonds or let us earn more than just ONE diamond at the end of every book. I honestly had to spend like over $100 just to get through a book and a half (and that’s not even getting to spend diamonds on EVERY CHOICE!!!!!) I really don’t like getting ripped off but I have with this app.

I’m impressed so far. Ever since I became interested in story apps I’ve loved when characters have depth and aren’t static. My favorite kind of heroes or heroines are anti/heroes or heroines because they struggle, make life-altering mistakes, but still in their own way try to fight for what they believe in. So far what I like about Choices are the customization of characters, how my choices really seem to matter or alter the storyline, and the scenes oh my gosh! The scenes! I like the elevators appearing to move and I can actually see what I usually have to imagine. The first choice was what kind of story I liked...with supernatural creatures like vampires of course but I like young adult, anything romance, royalty, adventure and science-fiction as well. Keep up the good work!! Choices really makes you feel like you’re apart of the story and that makes it so engrossing. One thing that I think would be nice for future Choice fans is maybe a free pass to read without keys for a day ever so often or more opportunities to win diamonds because some premium options are high. Also, I noticed there are many clothing options in some scenes it would be cool to have some other lowered diamond clothing choices or more variety.

Games nice only if ur willing to pay a lot of money!. I love the game and it’s very addictive but not worth what you have to pay to play it. There are multiple choices you have to make that cost about 25 diamonds each within each chapter. If you don’t have the diamonds available then it has a large affect on the game. This game really puts u at a disadvantage because it only starts you off with around 20-25 diamonds and it only gives you one diamond after each chapter is complete and it gives u the option of watching a video to receive one diamond afterwards too but there are no other ways to get them unless get more is by paying for them. I bought some diamonds for my first story I did and I’m only half way through and it’s cost over $20 worth of diamonds. (I’m only on chapter 10/19; note I didn’t even make every special choice) the game needs to find alternative ways to earn diamonds before I would recommend this game. It would be nice if I could earn diamonds for increasing your relationship or lower the amount of diamonds needed to where it’s realistic to what a gamer could earn. I shouldn’t have to pay almost $40-50 on one story or at least make it where you only make a small purchase for each story or something. But this is outrageous! Not to mention it takes 1.5hrs for a key to pop up so u can play the darn thing and it will only allow a max of two Keys to automatically regenerate.

My all time fav game but..... Like a lot of the other reviews state, it’s not fair how you have to spend money on diamonds and keys. For example my all time favorite book is open heart but I feel like every cool thing I want to do cost coins so I ended up, when it came to a costly choice, exiting out of the book and playing others to just build up diamonds. I will say however I like how they now allow daily bonuses where you can earn up to five diamonds a day. That I saw really made me enjoy it a little more. For me I found it really helpful because I can’t go around spending money on diamonds or keys. The last thing that I think is an easy fix is having the stories be a little more unique from eachother because I feel like it’s the same thing over and over. With high school story and hss class act or just in general it follows the same story line. I will say I liked how endless summer and open heart really stood out to me. Those two books especially open heart were the reason I kept playing so maybe make more similar (but different) to them. I will say that for anyone who is debating getting this game or not you definitely should (and you should play open heart). If I bored or in between activities this is my go to game.

Great stories, small suggestions. I love this app! Unlike Episode, these ones are created by highly talented people, so I know that every story will be amazing. In episode, there’s the option for people to create their own and upload it. There are a lot more options there, but a lot of the time they aren’t very good. On choices, they don’t make it so that if you can’t pay diamonds to do something extra, you can still succeed in the story. It’s great! My only suggestions: as others mentioned, we only get two free keys every three hours or something like that, which can be very hard when the stories are so addicting. On episode you get four. I would have an option to pay at the beginning and have unlimited keys, or to pay a monthly fee to become a premium member. It would also be great if they could do some ‘events’, such as ‘unlimited keys for the weekend’ or ‘watch a video, earn a key’ or ‘get double the diamonds by reading a chapter’, that kind of thing. Overall, definitely worth it! If you don’t have a lot of patience or money, you may struggle with waiting to read new chapters, but it’s worth the wait! Choices book recommendation: The Freshman series, America’s Most Eligible.

It’s a love/hate relationship. First the good, the stories are fun. A good way to spend time and you don’t have to spend money to make the stories interesting. The graphics and interaction are very well done. What annoys me is that the “choices” are limited. Non diamond choices are usually just what your character says to another. Sometimes there are only 2 choices and I don’t like either one of them! Diamond choices usually include clothing, which sometimes another character gives you so it’s awkward when you turn it down because you don’t want to spend your diamonds, or they are special scenes. The scenes are a better value, but cost quite a bit in some stories and don’t necessarily lead your character in the direction you may think you’re heading. All that I can deal with, but I am constantly getting Network Errors. It tells me to check my connection as though it is my fault, but all my other apps are working. This leads me to not be able to collect keys when my timer hits zero, or even exit the chapter I am reading to move on to another. And just a suggestion, but the option to unlock a whole book would be more palatable than buying bundles of diamonds. I could spend ten bucks on a real book and get many more hours of entertainment than I get from a book on here that would cost me $40 in diamonds to pick all the “choices”!

Simply the Best. This app is definitely the best in its category. There’s always a variety of great stories, the quality of images is superb, and most importantly, they don’t beat you over the head with diamond choices. There’s another app (that shall remain nameless) where you literally have to make a diamond choice every couple of sentences. Makes it impossible for the reader to enjoy the story. However, this is not the case with Choices, and I find that the diamond choices are reasonably paced. I love that there are always deals on diamond packages, that the app gives readers the chance to earn diamonds through reading challenges, that they are very generous with diamonds and keys once you become a VIP member, and that you can build up your diamond pile through daily rewards. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5-star rating is that when new chapters of a story become available each week, it’s only one chapter. As a voracious reader, I would prefer if 3-5 chapters of a story became available each week. Or, I wish everybody would just do the Netflix thing and give us everything all at once to binge! At any rate, I hope developers keep up the great work, because you are simply the best!

Great game, but.... Could someone explain to me why I have to pay money to change into clothes hat are already in my closet? It’s kind of ridiculous. In this game, you have some choices that are only available if you choose to buy them with diamonds. That wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for the fact that you’re limited to earning two diamonds every couple hours. These choices cost anywhere from 10-30 diamonds, which is way too much. I understand that this helps the developers make money, because you can buy extra diamonds with real money, too. The problem is that they don’t make sense. If I own a hoodie that’s hanging up in my closet, I don’t have to pay someone to put it on. That’s how it is in the story. I can understand having these choices for things that involve risk or money (For instance, buying your date a fancy steak instead of a cheeseburger, or something like that.), but these choices are both way too frequent and ridiculous. It kind of ruins the whole experience, because I have to leave the chapter and go grind for diamonds in other books that I don’t like as much for days straight, just so I can make this one choice I want in my favorite book. Then, five minutes later: Another Diamond choice. Horrible execution, but good game overall.

No diamonds? No story. I’m only affording any stars at all because the writing, art, and music are all well done. If I were rating purely on playability, I would give zero stars. Players aren’t allowed to experience most of the content within a story because of the high-cost/low-availability issue with diamonds. I just finished playing a chapter where two separate events requiring diamonds were triggered. One cost 18 diamonds, the other cost 16 diamonds. That’s 34 diamonds in total for one chapter. I have 6 diamonds, and since you only get 2 for completing a chapter and 1 for watching a rare ad, how long will it take before I can enjoy a story event again, and how many eventless chapters do I have to play through? The cost-availability ratio with diamonds is absurd. I know the company behind this needs to make money, but surely there’s a better way than expecting players to consistently dish out real money on diamonds that are rapidly used up on the high cost of events just so we can experience a full story. And after spending my diamonds on the events I’ve been able to, I can confidently say that the events are where the most interesting parts of any story are written. I’m sure the story I’m currently on will be completely lackluster without any events. I won’t be playing anymore after this, especially since I don’t appreciate a company hiding behind a pay-to-play system.

Diamonds Take Joy Out of Gameplay. I was really excited to see Pixelberry had come up with a game like this. I have been a fan since EA’s “Surviving High School” ca. 2007 and got into Pixelberry’s HSS & Hollywood U as a result. Choices has incredible storylines like Episode without the awful graphics. The characters are for the most part compelling in every book I’ve tried so far. That said, all of the aforementioned games had some form of optional payment for premium currency to be used for extra storylines &/or special clothes, and I happily obliged whenever I could. But Choices TAKES IT TO AN ALL NEW LEVEL. The fact that the keys stop collecting after only gathering two (taking approx 4hrs) is annoying, but that’s manageable. I’m more disturbed by the fact that during gameplay, diamond purchases are shoved down your throat at every turn. I’d estimate there are options for purchasing some friendly/romantic gesture/outfits 3-6 times per episode for 12-30 diamonds each time. The store offers 60 diamonds for $4.99. Also when you don’t buy diamonds, characters within the game shame you like “oh you look really plain” or “oh I thought we were friends and you could help me.” It’s ridiculous. I agree with other reviews in that I would much rather have the option to watch extra ads and get diamonds/Keys than this current system.

The entirety of this game is amazing. Okay so this entire game is really awesome. As a genderfaun and pansexual person struggling with my identity and with my sexuality, as well as unaccepting parents, this game is amazing in the fact that it really doesn’t care what you identify as or who you are, you can be with anybody or nobody, and there is ace/aro representation too! Also this game very correctly portrays depression and mental instability, as well as many disorders of all kinds. As somebody who struggles with depression, psychosis, PTSD, and Stockholm Syndrome due to past abuse, this game very correctly portrays how people who are mentally ill are. The writers go out of their way to throw stereotypes out of the window and instead focus on real people’s experiences with disorders and such, and it really makes a difference. I very highly respect Pixelberry studios as a whole, ever since playing Hopes Story in HSS. There are still good people out there and I’m glad that Pixelberry studios does their best to give back and do what they can to help people. I really hope that everything is okay with the people behind the scenes and hope that this review can help others (if that’s possible, I don’t know) Anyway back to thinking about what would happen if Open Heart: Third Year ever came out I appreciate you all at Pixelberry Studios!

Clothing and choices cost TOO MUCH. I love to read, I love been able to direct the story by making choices even better. This app would be amazing IF you could earn a lot more diamonds, diamonds were more reasonably priced, and outfits were more reasonably priced! As much as I love to read, I’m not buying diamonds several times throughout the story to get the right clothing or making a choice that makes the story more exciting and gets to an amazing ending! I don’t mind spending some money on games/apps that I love BUT I cannot justify spending anywhere from $2-$8 every chapter for an imaginary outfit or an imaginary choice. I would love to keep this app but I cannot justify spending the amount of money required to enjoy it! I’m not complaining over spending some money, but reality is way to expensive to spend this ridiculous amount of money to get through and entire book while being able to make the choices you actually want to make. You guys need to seriously reconsider the prices on the outfits and clothing AND allow us to earn more than 1 to 2 diamonds a chapter. The amount of diamonds you earn in a book isn’t enough to get you through another book...such a shame for an app that could be rated among the best of the best apps! My story is already ruined because I couldn’t buy the right outfit or buy the right choice for me...I had to take the generic choices and clothing

Love this app but.... I’ve had this app for about 3-4 years maybe. To put into perspectives, I’ve had the app since before they changed James face in the Freshman series (He looked like Michael B Jordan). I don’t typically leave reviews but I must applaud the team for the continuing development of this app it is very entertaining - and I can easily find myself spending more money than planned while playing. They’ve added new and better ways of earning diamonds. In my opinion after trying most of the competitors (episode, chapters, etc) I found myself in favor of Choices. HOWEVER, one thing I don’t like is the disturbance of plot development if a premium choice isn’t made. (**Spoiler) As an example, in Desire and Decorum book 2, main character has a dress made specifically for an event from her father. The characters play it up of how proud he’ll be and how it was made for this event as a “gift” but you have to purchase it. Most gifts given, if not all, doesn’t require purchases from the recipient. I understand that revenue has to come to developers, but there’s plenty of chances in books to provide premium choices that won’t require readers to *purchase* a “gift” made out to the character. It ruins the point. Other than that I love the book and keep up the great work!

This could be so good. This app could be really good! 3 stars for the concept and for some real creativity in the stories. Unfortunately I won’t be using this app anymore because the manipulation to buy is incredibly shady. They are constantly, and I mean constantly, soliciting you to make a purchase. Most chapters I read had around 4 “pay to play” moments. You’re forced to read a big build-up to the moment and then multiple “are you sure’s?” after you decline to pay $3 to see one short scene. Nothing will ruin a story like solicitation in the middle of it and it seems to get worse and worse with every release. “Don’t want your friend to die in this chapter? Better pay up.” I’m truly all for paying to enjoy a good story so artists can make money but when a book with very, very basic graphics can easily cost around $100 to read, I think there’s something off. If they can keep their customer base even with this frustration then their use of manipulation is sadly working. Personally, I don’t think it’s ethical to manipulate people to the degree this app goes, especially younger readers. I’d much prefer to pay a fee up front like a normal book or perhaps a subscription fee like Netflix or scribd. Until then, there are far more intricate and enjoyable stories that don’t solicit me every 5 minutes or cost $100 to read.

Even for us adults!. I think my Facebook was blitzed with ads for Choices for at least a year before I finally caved lol. I’m 38 and initially was perplexed why I was being advertised with this, but one of my friends began to play and so I joined her and have to say it’s a beautifully designed and addicting game, that is very well written (the stories) and really appeals to living in an idealized world that you have some control over -it’s nice to escape and be the focus of a compelling storyline! I really wished I had this growing up in my teens and early adult hood My only beef is not with diamonds per say as I believe the creators need revenue to continue quality content, but just how much everything costs and how expensive a choice is regardless of its nature. Outfits that don’t unlock special features should be nowhere near as expensive as outfits that do, and obtaining items should not costs as much as romance scenes (the difference between them is sometimes pretty negligible). I find myself reading walkthroughs online so that I can save for which diamond choices I want to save for (which I don’t mind doing waiting a few days or playing other stories) but it does ruin the experience a little. Just my two cents - thanks for making my days a little bit better PixelBerry!

Good game, but problem with choices. The stories are creative and the plots are entertaining. I just have such a big issue with two things: choosing your look and the use of diamonds to buy certain “exclusive” choices. By choosing your look, I don’t mean clothes- I understand maybe using diamonds to get different wardrobe options. I mean literally the appearance of the character- the options are always so limited, and when you play with a character that looks nothing like you because there was no option that looked like you, it just detracts from the whole point of a choose your own adventure game. Second, diamonds- you gotta fix this. If not all the options are available and you need to buy a TON of diamonds through in-app purchases just to make a story more interesting, the game isn’t fun anymore- it just burns through all your money. I get using diamonds to buy clothes etc, but it just doesn’t make sense to limit plot choices (AND IT HAPPENS SO OFTEN AND THE CHOICES YOU CAN PURCHASE ARE SO MUCH MORE OBVIOUSLY INTERESTING THAN THE FREE ONES). edit: pls pls pls fix the diamonds thing. i love the game but i also either get sick of it bc you need a ton of diamonds to do anything remotely interesting or i forget to check back because you only get 1 key at a time and they take forever to reload. make all the choices free to use, please. otherwise it’s just not worth it.

Eh meh ugh hmm. Well, the stories are good and they def keep me hanging on, but it becomes no fun when you can’t do anything else in your fav read. You’re stuck passing on every special circumstance and wearing some dull outfit you’ve worn a thousand times. You get one measly diamond per chapter. You pay out so many diamonds for one special event or outfit, you can never regain them fast enough to have much fun. I understand they want you to buy diamonds and keys, but most people aren’t gonna pay that price for so few diamonds (25 diamonds for one special outfit or 17 for a special scene) or buy more keys Bc you cap at 2 and then have to wait hours for more.....sorry but I don’t see myself keeping up w this. I’ll finish my book and then prob delete the app. Here’s a tip for developers, people are more likely to buy diamonds or keys if they feel like they’ve been given enough to experience the fun of the game and then occasionally have to stick w the plain-Jane game Bc they’ve ran out. The key/diamond progress needs to be better Bc right now it’s infuriating and hopeless. I’d be more willing to spend some if I felt the enjoyment of playing the special scenes. But since the game is so stingy w the things that actually make it worth playing/reading, I def end up deleting it soon which is a bummer Bc the stories are a lot of fun.

Find someone who loves you like this app loves clumsily inserting an outfit change into a story. Pros: Some good, confident, engaging writing in many of the stories. Even side characters can feel like real people. This aspect has come a long way in the past few years. Good variety in terms of story types and writing styles. Cons: See title - some diamond choices are extremely clunky / distract from the story noticeably. This includes 95% of all outfit choices. Like, come on. Y’all have GOT to be laughing at yourselves writing them. “Oh, a boutique in the middle of the desert! Let’s go shopping! We should have time before the murderer catches up to us!” Be better. Overall structure of relationships / LIs is extremely repetitive. Very little is actually meaningfully affected by your choices. You can ignore someone, ditch them for some other LI, etc and they’ll ALWAYS be 100% supportive and understanding and want you no matter what. Very unrealistic. Along those lines - almost all stories, even if they allow male players - are clearly written w the female main character in mind. Might be intentional but it makes for a poorer experience when playing as male. Last note - very hard to actually enjoy this game without paying the monthly fee, which is annoying.

soooo addicting. Let me just start off by saying how great of a game this is. To anyone reading the reviews before you get the game, I highly recommend getting it. I’ll admit, it’s highly addictive. I will get the game and then delete it over and over again. I only have two recommendations. 1. Do you think that you guys at Pixelberry could make an update regarding the diamonds? For example, maybe instead of getting only 1 extra diamond for watching a 30 second add, you get 4. This will make people actually feel the need to watch the adds, cause I know that there are people who don’t even watch them because 1 diamond really isn’t worth it. 2. Can you guys make a feature where you can contact the creator of a story? I just think that this would be very helpful. This is because sometimes the creators of VERY good stories take a long time to make the next chapter for a book. Maybe if there was a emailing feature so that if the reader wanted to ask the creator a question, they could do that. I wrote this one especially for the creator of Open Heart:Second Year because I wanted to know if you will have a chance to date one of the characters (Bryce, Ethan, Rafael, or Jackie) by the end of the story. Other then that, I love the books and the app!

Good choices cost too many Diamonds. Guess I have to always make crap choices even if I don’t want to only because I never have enough diamonds. And waiting around for 2 keys? Should be 5 keys. All games have 5 lives so keys should be the same, 5. Diamonds only earned by reading the story. Can’t earn diamonds if you can’t read the story because you don’t have keys. Anyway, there should be offers or video ads we could watch to earn diamonds at least. That’s what all other games are doing nowadays. Because to be honest, I don’t want to invest real money into this game. It’s not worth it. No way am I going to buy diamonds and keys with real money. It’s absurd how this app is created just to get money out of people. Guess I’ll be always stuck with the less desirable choices in the game. Even though in real life, that’s not how it always is. There are similar games out there and the only thing you end up spending gems/diamonds on are the clothes, and you still have more better clothing options. Choices don’t cost anything actually. All they do is change the story. This game is kind of like if I wanted to do well on a test and I knew what the correct answer is but I have to pay for the correct answer and don’t have money for it so I get stuck with the incorrect answers and end up failing the test. Anyway this game needs a lot more improvement and wiggle room. There is so much to consider.

I love it but. I love this game but I was wondering if there’s a way you could add Hollywood story or OG high school story to this? I would like to play as my character from hollywood story or high school story but as a story it’s fun seeing old characters in red carpet diaries or high school story but I would much rather play the original as a story!!! also I LOVE stories like the royal romance so maybe more stories with princesses and princes and things like that?? I also like stories involving my character as a mom like in baby bump, mother of the year & the royal heir so maybe more stories involving that??? and lastly could you maybe not have the good choices need so many diamonds it’s tiring cause I like to play my stories with diamonds and it’s hard when it takes like 30 diamonds for one choice... I would understand if there wasn’t so many choices in each story that’s too many diamonds!! oh and also can I get baby bump book two, ride or die book two or mother of the year book two? and I want more high school story ( not class act) also maybe a short story about rules of engagement or the freshman series? I’d like to see where my character is and how she’s doing now!!

Non-inclusive, Not Diverse, Insulting. I was referred to this game and downloaded it for the niece of a friend. The question she asked me about 3 minutes into the game was “why can’t I get a girl that looks like me?”. There are only 3 shades of skin color (white, a little bit less white, and one skin shade for an entire ethnic group), the options given for hair, eyes, facial features all point to one type/group of the human race. What about Asians? They have distinct characteristics. What about Hispanics? They too have distinct characteristics. What about African Americans, other black ethic groups? What about Native Americans? They all have distinct characteristics. So forgive me if I find it rather insulting when you take it upon yourself to consolidate all these distinct characteristics into 3 or 4 shallow options; which all point to one group of people. We don’t need a melting pot, we need to celebrate these differences and accept each other as such. So You either have one main character for everyone or you provide options that are inclusive of all ethnicities. This game was made for everyone aye? If not, you might as well just name it “Choices For Whites only” and it’ll save everyone’s time. In case this was just an oversight on the part of the planning & design team, then that’s forgiven. But you have a CHOICE right now to correct that and contribute to a more progressive world. Nothing is too little to mean nothing.

Amazing... but hard to play. This game is incredible. I’ll just be honest. It has me hooked on many stories, all well made with an amazing storyline. There IS one problem though, a problem addressed by the whole Choices community, and that is diamonds. There are a lot of things you can do with them that change the outcome of the stories. Outfits, extra scenes, and all sorts of things. But it’s incredibly hard to get any. I find myself skimming and sometimes not even reading another story, just to save up diamonds to be able to choose one or two “special” choices, and that just ruins the gameplay. I want to be able to take my time with the stories, to figure out which I like and which I don’t, but I can’t because I have to read a few extra BOOKS, not even chapters, just to be able to affect my favorite story. And believe me, I understand that a company that makes free games needs to find a way to make money, but not everyone can afford to blow a bunch of money in a game. I suggest to maybe add a daily “Spin The Wheel” or something like that, to at least give you a few diamonds per day, which let you enjoy the story to the fullest. If I had to rate this game from one to ten, I’d give it a 9.5/10. The game is great, and that is the only issue I have with it. Thanks for reading this.

You already know. Look, I love this game. I actually think it’s better than episode and all of the others games like this offered on the App Store. The stories are really good and it keeps you entertained. I also like the design of the characters too. But dear god why does everything have to be at the cost of diamonds? It’s ridiculous how you can miss out on 70% of all things in a story because you don’t have enough diamonds. Do you know how hard it is to collect diamonds? We only get 2 diamonds per chapter and 3 if you wanna watch an ad, but that dosent really help when you get a key every 3 hours. Obviously it’s a money grab and I don’t expect choices to stop doing it but can you at least consider lowering the prices down? Everything always costs between 20-25 diamonds and honestly that’s really expensive. 10-15 diamonds for something would be better and would give the player more of an opportunity to do other things/buy other things in the games. I’m sure people will still spend money on your game but at least give the players more of an opportunity to do things in this game. You miss out on so much gameplay if you don’t have enough diamonds it’s honestly unfair. But regardless I really enjoy the game and it’s very entertaining.

Expensive and glitches. I love this game. I enjoy the stories and love the art style. But all the diamond decisions cost too much. It costs nearly $2 per choice. And waiting 2 hours between keys is a bit long in my opinion. Honestly, I would sit there and watch ads for diamonds or keys but that is not an option. I would much rather have a monthly subscription system where keys and diamonds are removed or a pay per episode setup like the old surviving high school and cause of death apps. I poured over $30 into each of those apps because I knew I would have full access to each episode for as long as I have a device that can run the app. The other day I couldn’t play the game because your servers were down. So once you stop supporting the app everything is gone. There are also a few glitches in the game. For example, in the Freshman book 1 chapter 13 when I am talking to kaitlyn after sleeping together the game brings up that I hooked up with Chris earlier even though I didn’t, I checked the screen recordings that I made. I did everything in my power to avoid chris. I even replayed the book 2 more times to make sure I didn’t do anything with Chris. It isn’t that big of a deal but I liked the dialogue better then the game isn’t wrong. It worked fine the first time I played through the book but not anytime after. I really wanted to record a perfect play through but with this glitch, I can’t make it 100% perfect.

I love making Choices. This is probably my favorite role playing app I’ve downloaded. I love the different variety of stories, plots, and characters. The animations and dialogue are also excellent (for the most part) as well. I will say, my only complaint, which seems to be like the others, is how very little diamonds you receive. Each chapter you complete you receive one diamond at the end. There’s at least two or three chances in a chapter to use diamonds to advance in some sort in the story; whether that’s clothes, helping your friends out, or getting closer in a relationship. It can cost up to 30 diamonds to complete an action. I think that is far to high. That means that you have to play 30 chapters and complete multiple stories in order to unlock up to a full action, and if you wanted to complete multiple in one chapter, just double that. I think in all fairness the diamonds need to be reduced significantly. I do not feel like the unlocked choices really add much more to the gameplay than if you just saved them. I’ve spent real money to receive additional items /extended gameplay and have left feeling unsatisfied. Other than that, I love the app and can’t wait for more stories and am always excited when new chapters are released.

Love it and hate it. I love the story telling. It’s like nothing I’ve seen anywhere else. I love how the story changes depending on your choices. The only books I’ve read so far are High School Story 1 & 2. I’m at the 3rd one, and I’m eagerly waiting for the next chapter to come out. The thing that makes this stand out from the others is that I can choose to play as a male character. (Since I am male) The story telling is so good. I’ve gotten attached to a few characters. I hate the price of this tho. I spent around $120 on the first two books. And I still felt I had to limit some choices. I wanted to experience more of it but since everything costs so much, it makes it hard to play this game without feeling comfortable. I’m sure it’s perfect if you have $100’s of dollars to spend on silly things like this. But it feels like it’s not being given a fair price. You limit your audience so much. Hell, I’d pay $50 per book if I could go back and read it whenever I wanted too- however I wanted too. I feel like I spent $120 on something that I can’t go back and look at. Be reasonable with your prices. You might get more people willing to pay for the books and make more money that way. Please stop being so greedy. I know these books don’t take as much work to make as a AAA Nintendo or Xbox game. So why is it more expensive?

Love this game, one suggestion, please read. This is by far one of my favorite games, do to the way it is so adaptive. Many games similar to choices have stories wich are much less customizable, and that is what separates choices from the rest. This game is amazing because I really feel like my chooses affect the story. I’ve seen multiple complaints about Diamonds, but I think this game goes about premium choices and currencies better than most. You can watch ads to get diamonds, and you get rewards after every chapter, (2 diamonds, 3 with ad) and I feel that’s much more reasonable than other apps. Lol, only one request though? Please, please pretty please continue some of the older stories; mostly just the original high school story (my absolute favorite). The one thing I absolutely hate about this app is fininshing books, because the characters are so beautiful and I hate to leave them behind. Replaying the book just isn’t the same, so adding new books to some series would make the experience even better. PLEASE! Warning: VERY ADDICTING. I rarely write reviews for apps, but Choices is AMAZING. I started playing a couple of months ago and since then, I’ve been completely hooked. I love all of the characters, the stories, the plot twists, and how you get to actually impact the story with your choices. It’s different from a lot of the other “choose your story” games because if you don’t choose the diamond choices, it doesn’t completely mess up the story for you. I mean, sure, there are a lot of them, but they only give you a small advantage so you don’t have to worry about not having enough diamonds or spending money on them. The wait for keys (so you can play the stories) isn’t crazy long: it’s only a couple of hours. On Choices, there’s a story for everyone. They have a million different genres from Vampire Romances to crazy adventures. (BONUS: None of the romance stories are cringy or cheesy) The stories are all so well written and realistic. Like, I didn’t realize I was holding my breath with anticipation on one of them until I nearly passed out. Okay, maybe I was exaggerating but my main point of this really long review is that CHOICES IS A MUST HAVE. Disclaimer: you may find yourself staying up all night playing this.

Stories are great but.... The stories and graphics are great, but there really aren't a lot of choices for the story to go as you want it to because of the overpriced diamond system. I'd even accept earning diamonds for replaying chapters but they don't allow that . Each premium choice costs roughly $1.60 - $3.00 and there are several per chapter that make a difference to the storyline. I'd pay for the game but I'll never pay for diamonds. I also don't recommend the game to others because of the diamond necessity. For example in the Endless Summer series you need to collect idols to get the clues for the story but must pay for all of them in diamonds. In Book 3 they added embers instead of idols and you HF to pay what adds up to $1.60 for each one and they hardly added anything to the story though the story made you feel like you needed them (and you did for some of the clues and bonus scenes). I'm deleting the app. Not fun this way and makes you feel unappreciated as someone that is willing to pay for the game. The app shows two unlimited options for a reasonable price in the Top In-App Purchases section but the game in reality doesn't offer unlimited. They do have a diamond package for $99 though. 🙄 No thanks! I'll just go back to playing story games like Mass Effect and Fallout where I can get a lot more hours of play, a good story, and only pay one time (a lot less than $100).

Gems. I love the game. I think that it is so fun to be able to out yourself in a fairytale story. I have always wanted to be a princess or know vampires and with this game i can do it all. The only problem that i have it the dace that this game requires so much money. In order to get diamonds and keys i have to buy them. I feel like the game should start evert person off with at least 20 diamonds and 10 keys. To get the audience keys and the choices shouldn't cost so many diamonds. Like 3-5 diamonds enough to pick a choice. I feel like im being ripped off. Spending more money on the game than anything else like its really ridiculous how much money a person has to spend and then its crazy you only get up to 2 keys every so often...like why not always 5 like every thing else. Besides that the game is very fun and i enjoy every minute of it. Id just love to be able to save a little though. I think we all would. Cause who wants to play the game and can't buy the good choices that better your chances to win. This company is more worried about the money people spend and not the good time and also all the scenery and settings are all the same new your. Carbonia. Like....whats up with that

Great!! Would be #1 game except for.... I love this game!!! I’ve downloaded it so many times but eventually get sick of the same thing every time!!! I’ve read quite a few of your reviews, so I know you’ve heard this a hundred+ times before but it doesn’t seem like you guys are listening or even attempting to acknowledge your many many many customers who have all expressed issue with your diamond system... you have a subscription service for keys, why not offer a daily allotment off diamonds with it, like 2-3 for weeklys and 5-6 for monthlys? Or maybe do a daily spin wheel, or have mini games or something to earn more diamonds without having to shell out tons of money!! Or at the very least, increase the amount earned in your current setup or decrease the astronomically high cost of diamonds needed to make choices.. 3 for least impact to story, 5 for medium impact and max 10 for the big decisions! Maybe try decreasing the number of decisions needing diamonds... honestly I love love love the game but the diamond setup makes it seem like you guys are intentionally putting your customers at a huge disadvantage in an attempt to milk us for as much money as possible. If you fixed this one area, you guys could have the #1 best storytelling/simulation game available!! Hands down!! Please adjust, or do something/anything that shows you hear us and you care about/value our opinions as your consumers!!

Very good app but..... Choices is very good app. They have very well written stories in different genres, and anyone would enjoy this app. Personally, I think Choices is better than Episode. The problem is, it’s kind of hard to enjoy the story when you can’t experience the “special” scenes, or get the “right” outfit. In each chapter of every story, they give you options to buy something with diamonds. If you were to spend diamonds on at least chapter of a story, you would probably spend about 70 to 90 diamonds. Outfits are either 20 to 30 diamonds. Special scenes are about 15 to 20 diamonds, and if you want pursue some personal time with a character in the book, that’ll be 30 diamonds. They clearly WANT you to buy diamonds and passes. But honestly, spending hard earned money isn’t worth wasting on something fictional that won’t benefit me. Choices IS a very good app, but it’s hard to enjoy the chapters when you can’t do the things that you as the player would like to do. Most of the time, I would have to wait about a week or so just to build of my diamonds to play ONE “special” scene. I think what choices should do is make a reasonable amount of diamonds to be spent in a chapter. I should have to waste all my diamonds on one chapter alone.

Almost Perfect. As a young adult aspiring to be a writer one day, I kinda feel bad and delighted at the same time. Feel bad because ideas I thought were original were fleshed out on these books. And delighted because Im happy I get to experience it to another kind of level. I really enjoy this app a lot. I find myself always putting 30 minutes every 6 hrs trying to use my keys. Stories are immersive and you get the vibe the stories are trying to deliver to their readers. Sadly even with high remarks to the game, I cant give it a 5 star. The reason why is because the game cost too much. Yes 2 dollars or 10 dollars doesnt seem a lot for the older audience but young adult like I am whos new to the world and got to pretty much spend every cent to school cant really spend money to the game. Even then, who would spend money on games really? I hope they give more rewards per chapter or have an achievement or trophy system where you can get more keys and diamond. 2 Diamonds per chapter completed cant compensate to ranges of 12-30 diamonds or sometimes as high as 50 diamonds being used every chapter. Is 10 asking too much? If theres a way to have diamonds to be more accessible and attainable, free and cheaper, I’m pretty sure people would love to play more. I would love to play more. Nevertheless, fantastic job on the app. Looking forward to new updates in the future.

I don’t have patience!. I love the game! The stories are entertaining and I love the animation. But when it gets right down to it, waiting four hours to play one chapter is annoying! It’s annoying to wait for keys and to earn diamonds! Especially because the amount of diamonds one can earn is two per chapter, so that’s four in a four hour period, but most of the choices we have to spend for cost twenty-five diamonds. And the cash cost for both diamonds and keys is overpriced, not that I’m willing to spend any money on just a few keys or diamonds anyway. I wish you had an option to pay to completely unlock the app, because I’d gladly pay $25 to be able to play unlimited chapters in a row and not have to worry about diamonds at all anymore. And I’m sure there’s even many people who would pay $5 per month just to be able to play unlimited chapters in a row if you fixed it so that people could earn more diamonds easily or that choices cost less diamonds. Even as for right now, even if you left everything else the same, I would be much happier if you just allowed us to replay chapters that we’ve already been through without having to spend another key. I wouldn’t even mind if I had to watch an ad before replaying a chapter as long as I didn’t have to spend another key to replay it. Definitely hope you’ll think about it.

Good game, bad for consumers.. This game is great, but you can’t base the entire persona of the game on choices if you can barely make any CHOICES. Almost every important choice in the game costs diamonds and when you don’t have enough diamonds, you have to purchase them, most people don’t have the money or even want to spend money on diamonds. This can be a HUGE game breaking mechanic when you’re having fun playing a specific chapter of a book and then you get bombarded with choices that cost diamonds and could ruin your entire immersive experience within the story. The only way for you to get diamonds without making a purchase is to leave the story and get immersed in a whole different story. Rewarding you with only one diamond per chapter, then you’re stuck playing a specific book for days on end, which also entails a surplus of diamond required choices. By the time you get back to your original story you’ve only got enough diamonds to make one choice and you’ve completely forgotten why you wanted the diamonds in the first place. These “choices” are almost making the game pointless to play. If any developers are reading this please make a difference, we know you can. It would make the game so much more entertaining and I’d be more willing to spend more time on the game. Thank you.

Love hate relationship with this game. I have been absolutely addicted to this game, to the point where I actually bought diamonds and keys to keep playing which is something I swore I’d never do. The stories are excellent and really hook you in. I understand that they need to make money for the game, hence the keys and diamonds, but the items and choices are so expensive. You run through diamonds insanely fast and I don’t think it’s fair how much time or money you have to spend to play the game. I strongly believe once you purchase an item of clothing, you should be able to use it ANYTIME in the story, not just when it’s presented as an option to you. It’s your closet that you’ve bought the items for, so you should be able to bust them out anytime you want. I don’t mind paying for them, but I should be able to use them for more than one or two levels. Hell, they should be available across stories too. I know that when I was play my first story, “Royal Romance”, I had to keep buying new outfits when some of the ones I had brought previously would have been perfect. I’ll probably delete the app soon because it’s wasting my money and/or time and unfairly allocating those resources by not allowing us to use what we buy whenever we want.

PLEASE READ SUGGESTIONS!!. I really like this game. But(and i know there is always a but) I don't understand why you do things the way you do. I recently reinstalled the app, and it kept my progress. I wanted to redo some of my favorite books so i could see the beginning. I started doing a lot of them again and was frustrated. I couldn't get any diamonds even if i spent a key to replay the game. I understand you have to make money some way, but I just wanted to take another look at the stories. I had been saving up diamonds for choices on the other games, but I have had to stop replaying the books bc i didn't get diamonds. Also this is a request but i loved your love hacks books. Could you maybe do a spinoff one? At the end they said it was the beginning of a new era...so i was wondering if that was being turned into a book. Also please give more diamonds after completing a book. The whole diamonds thing was why I deleted the app in the first place. Anyway I like your app but i may delete it again for lack of interest. I have almost run out of books to play, now that love hacks is over :((. I really liked your love hacks, but i'm getting frustrated by the whole diamonds problem. I know everyone complains about the amount of diamonds I just want more content to play. so in conclusion please make another love hacks(spinoff) and give diamonds for redoing a book after using a key...;)

Love it but.... Choices is by far one of the most entertaining games. I’ve been playing Pixelberry games for 4 years and when choices came out I instantly fell in love with it. I spend hours playing it every day. I quite honestly play it when I have more important things to do. The stories and the game are amazing for the most part but I have small issues in my opinion. I’ve finished a bunch of stories on past devices that are now broken. They were broken wayyy before the option to connect to Facebook, which I like many people don’t have, so I can’t continue on. I think it’d be much more enjoyable if there were other ways to play on multiple devices. In HHS and Hollywood U my stuff carried over because of Game Center but the case is different here. Like many people, I have an issue with diamonds. My problem is a bit different than other people’s. There have been plenty of times I’ve clicked on a choice I don’t mean to make but when it’s a diamond choice everything becomes a whole mess. If there were an option added to confirm that the reader wanted the diamond choice love would be easier. I was saving up and went from 42 to 12 diamonds in seconds. Definitely not worth it but I guess I’ll have to be more careful.

Love this app with exception. I found this app through an ad for another game I played. I really love it so far. A Courtesan of Rome is an amazing story! I love the historical figures in it, plus the main character’s fictional story. It’s so great. I must compliment the story writers on this one. Although there was a bit of a glitch in the story (when I chose NOT to be romantic with one character, in the next scene my character was “remembering the kiss from last night” which never happened, so it threw off my character a bit), the story as a whole is incredible. I LOVE the music that accompanies each chapter. It really makes this story come to life in addition to the great graphics and scenery! I will absolutely finish this book and reread it again in the future. However, I cannot continue with other stories on account of how much you have to spend on diamonds just to get through a book. Please recognize that this is too much and it would be nice if you would give us more diamonds to use for free. I’d be more likely to buy more diamonds to continue stories if I was given more than the pitiful amount of freebies we get now. You got me hooked with this book but I will not continue with this app if the diamond situation does not improve.

Really great stories, but also very expensive. I love almost every story that I’ve read on this app. The art, music, and stories are top notch and you can tell that the writers put a lot of time into the stories they create. That being said, it’s extremely expensive to play. I’m all for supporting the writers and creators of this app, but the amount of money that you have to put into these books to get every premium choice is ridiculous. Just to get one outfit, you usually need $2 worth of diamonds. Each chapter that is released has around 3-4 premium diamond choices, running you about $10 a chapter. One of my favorite books had 19 chapters, so when you add that up, you spend way more money total on books in this app than you would if you bought a newly released book from a book store. They need to lower the price of diamonds, or lower the amount of diamonds needed in each chapter. I wouldn’t even mind a subscription type of thing for diamonds since I don’t mind supporting the creators of this app, but I think for them to charge at least $100 for one complete book is way too much. Don’t download unless you don’t mind paying or farming books over and over again for a small amount of diamonds.

Diamonds only downside. This game was surprisingly more entertaining than I thought it would be. I couldn’t believe how many stories and in depth it was! However, the only downside is having to use diamonds for a lot of the good choices and sometimes you get negative feedback for those choices if you don’t have enough diamonds to pick that option. I understand that the main goal with these apps whether through ads or extra perks is for the creators to make money, and they should because this game has a lot of work into it. However, for the common person even the amount of diamonds that is needed for one choice is too much. I considered spending some real money to purchase these diamonds but realized quickly that even dropping $20 May last me only a few chapters of picking the good choices. Instead of making some choices be 12+ diamonds I believe if they were from 1-5 diamonds I’d be more willing to even spend real money on the game. Furthermore, maybe some of the choices to hang out with people should cost nothing while extra outfits, etc. should be charged. Again, I understand why it is set up the way it is but I still wonder if the choices costs less diamonds if they would actually make more money due to people being willing to spend money if they see the diamonds being worth the purchase.

Amazing writing! Just fix the glitches on ad related diamonds, please!. As a fan of the choose-your-own-adventure model, I downloaded this app out of curiosity and the quality of the stories and gameplay have exceeded my expectations! The game is an immersive experience as you grow deeply attached to a well rounded supporting cast of characters, and I am happy to spend a few dollars on diamond choices for my favorite stories in support of this game. That being said, I’d love for there to be more ways to view adds or take surveys in exchange for diamonds, but most importantly, the current system for redeeming diamonds from advertising needs to work correctly. Something must be wrong with the way certain ads are coded into the game, because I keep being accused of closing an ad early when I’ve watched it multiple times in full and this is becoming extremely annoying (because I am viewing many more ads without being compensated for my time with diamonds). I don’t mind watching the ads for diamonds and I don’t mind spending some real money occasionally to gain even more diamonds, but I want to be credited the correct amount of diamonds for my ad viewing first. Otherwise, I can’t justify spending real money. So please fix this problem. Congrats on an awesome product and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!

Suggestions!! Please read!!. Hey!! So I really love this app, I’ve had it for about 3 years and have had it on multiple devices and I have always been obsessed with it! I do have a few suggestions and downs about this app thought. So first of all I think Mafia books would be a huge hit if you added one because I know that a lot of people love them, and there aren’t none on this app. Also maybe more werewolves and vampire books, maybe even a devil one where she falls in love with the devil and all. I would really look forward to those books if you made them!! Secondly, I really hate the keys wait, I was hoping it could go down like to maybe 30 minutes or even an hour. I know a lot of people really hate that about the app and some people dont really have the money to go and buy gems or keys. Also I don’t know if you could make it happen but add books where you can just spend 30-40 gems and then don’t have to spend anymore through the book. I know you have that for side stories for the Freshman serious so maybe more stuff like that? Besides this I love this app and I am addicted!! Please try with the suggestions because I know it would be a huge hit and would even help some people out!!

Cheats you out of diamonds and gets stuck on ads. The game is set up so that everything you want to do, even things that you suggest in the story have to be paid for with diamonds and it’s usually anywhere between 15-30 for each choice. Just 20 diamonds cost 2.17 (tax included), and you are only able to earn 3 free diamonds at the end of the episode. However one of those diamonds requires you to watch an ad and more often then not there is some sort of error that happens that prevents your from getting it where they claim they’ll try to add it later (that never happens by the way). They want you to spend money in diamonds, yet have no way of ensuring you won’t have some sort of error that doesn’t allow them to show up. The. There are 5 diamonds you can get free every 22 hours. It will work fine until you get near the end of a book and haven’t purchased any diamonds. Then it will play and ad till the end, but when you press the little exit X you get a message that says the ad isn’t over and you can’t get your diamonds if you don’t watch til the end, even though you did watch it to the end. I think it is set up that way so that you can’t earn free diamonds at the end of the story so they can try and force you to buy, but if your app can’t consistently deliver what it is supposed to in the first place, why would I spend money and risk it malfunctioning and lose my money as well? I’m 3 chapters from the end of my first book. Once I finish it, I’m uninstalling.

Love it but there’s a catch. I absolutely love this app I’ve read a good chunk of the books on here and they are great. Sure it’s mostly romance but there are still a lot of options. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the fact that the really nice choices like you would think would be free aren’t. Okay here is a prime example, so I am currently on book 4 on the Royal Romance series and I loved it except when I wanted a basic dress for this important ball they gave me two options get the really nice gown for 25 Diamonds or wear some blue dress that I would wear to the beach. Now I get the money and all that but you would think one nice dress would be available without having to pay! I would also like to say I like the new ad things that you can watch I would just recommend making the wait time for more gems a little short I don’t get to play because I have to wait.!! So I like the books I like the design of the game and I like the whole app, I also love the tech support I was having a minor problem opening the app and they were quick and efficient to tell me the problem and how to solve it. So everything is great except the Diamonds but everything else is the absolute best!!!👍👍👍😄😄 A very pleased reader!!!!!
