Can’t hear anything. I have an iPhone 6s. I tap on the speakers in the book and I get the play menu, but I can’t hear anything. My phone works just fine with other music.

Recordings don’t work. I have the newest and greatest iPad Pro. Why can’t I hear the exercise samples? Frustrating

Good for the most part. I liked the app but whenever I tried to record it would be offbeat when I played it back

Ok app👍🏼. There were a few Cinks here and there like how I couldn’t go at my own pace when Recording. Or how on some songs you couldn’t Record yourself but other than that it was a pretty good app.

Doesn’t work. The app doesn’t seem to function. No place to enter user license code from the book that said to down this app and enter the code. 🤷🏼

Node456. I think it is ok but hard to set up It is hard to play along with the others afterwards We are going to have to get a single instrument setting

Meh. I am a jazz band member, as I do jazz at school. I have a current card test and as I went to play the recording for the lead sheet of evening stroll the recording didn’t want to play. I tried logging out of my account but to no avail it still would not work. I would recommend a new update to fix this issue, and it is not only me dealing with this nonsense. Please fix this bug in the app, thanks!

Constantly Crashes. This app constantly crashes

Teach piano. My students love this app for their lesson books. Illustrations are charming and there are many fun tunes.

It’s Great. I love the app, it was recommended by my band teacher! The only thing I don’t like is how you have to have a book code. Some people want to learn and they don’t have a real book to look off of.

Needs improvement. PLEASE add an option to disable the motion/animation between pages in the book view. Huge waste of time waiting for the page to slide out of view rather than just having the next page appear instantly.

Stupid App. This app is absolutely useless it is a piece of junk an a waste of time and it is a shame!

So close, and yet so far.... This app would be fantastic if it worked. I can't get to the screen where I can purchase anything or enter codes for paper copies that have already been purchased. I would love to be able to access the digital version of the Tradition of Excellence book I use with my band students from the iPad, but the app either crashes or gives me an hourglass with no hope of opening anything other than the samples that come free with the app. Please fix this - it could be a wonderful teaching tool!

Ok. The tuner was working at start but when I went back to practice the tuner wasn’t working everything else was working

Mic does not pick up. The mic does not pick up on the recording so its really only useful for playing your music

Won't even start!!?. This app would be so useful it it worked but it won't even start running and crashes within 10 seconds of trying to load

Amazing👍🏻. When I get home to practice I would turn on my Bluetooth speaker and I would connect to my phone with the app. And I would just play along to tell is it the right sound or note. This helped me a lot because last year I could not tell the difference of the notes. Now I am in advanced band and jazz band, thank you.

Works great!. It works really great with my book. Has some bugs but not all bothersome.

I need help. So I have a question how do I add a recording because for a band piece I have to use the IPS for it and so I want to do it on my phone, can you please tell me how to create a recording.

Speeds don't match and extras are missing. Full of bugs, and issues. They haven't updated in for ever. Shucks!

Educational. This was very useful for me and my friend. We are experts in this field. It has a turner that works awesome and it works fine even though it has 3! Stars! That’s pretty goood. 😁

Lack of many things. This app was said to work great but there is little to no info on how to do anything, I cannot find information on how to play some of the songs I need help so overall it’s no good

What the he!! Happened????. This app worked fine for what it was, basically the book with recordings to follow along with plus the ability to record practices. In the past couple weeks, it has become absolutely useless. It no longer remembers purchases, so every time we use it, I have to go shopping to restore past purchases. EVERY TIME!! Worse, before you could pinch the screen to enlarge the the page to make the notes more readable. NOT ANYMORE. This had made practice with my child an irritating chore. FIX IT!!!

Is this app still being supported?. Crashes on my phone and can no longer purchase liscences?

Decent. I would’ve gave this a lower star review but this app is not looking so good in ratings so I’m giving it 5 stars. This is pretty useful if your book is damaged and you don’t want to pay for it again or you just don’t have it with you. I won’t be using this that much but it’s good for me to have. I’m a percussionist and the pages in the digital book seem to match the physical copy. I heard that there’s a recording feature but I probably won’t be using it. Overall this is pretty useful. Definitely doesn’t deserve the 5 stars I’m giving it, but I wanted to be nice.

The most horrible app someone could come up with. Literally the worst app known like it doesn’t even help me with playing makes it the worst experience makes me slow down and how hard it was to even use it like this is making me want to quit playing.

Doesnt work. Cant "get products" so the app is unusable. Crashes repeatedly.

Great. I am in my school’s band and this app is great for if I leave my book at home. The recording system they have is a little bit buggy but for the most part I love the app

Pretty good for the most part. It’s a good app except for the fact that 1 song keeps playing in the slowest tempo even when I try resetting the app.

It’s ok... My school used it for band and it’s ok, but it glitches so much! It’s so annoying a lot of the time. When I open a page in the digital book it keeps scrolling up and down over and over without stopping. I can’t do anything to make it stop. I don’t know if this will ever be fixed, but otherwise it’s pretty good.

Worst app ever. Seriously how does someone build an app this bad? It is like 15 years old and is impossible to navigate.

Used to be great. Was doing great for years (I’m a director). Now it crashes constantly. I’ve reinstalled it multiple times and tried different codes for the books I have. Still crashes if I try to do anything but use the tuner.

Awesome!. Kjos Interactive Practice Studio is excellent! I have been waiting for an easier way to use my TOE book at home and here it is. My favorite feature of the app is the personal recording studio, which has been a huge help with improving my performance on new pieces :) Bravo!

Its bad. I’m only keeping the app because i need it otherwise i would delete it. The song is so slow it cant keep up with my class and when i turn the tempo up it gets to fast you should add a custom speed control so we can set it to are needs i really think books would be better because the lackluster work that was put into this app disgusts me.

App is terrible. Downloaded the app for Interactive IPS on my iPad. Looking for the videos that are promised for the ‘Vibrato Basics’ for violin book. The book says to ‘follow the on-screen instructions and use the 16 digit User License Code to begin enjoying all the features of the IPS’……well WRONG, all I get is a ‘invalid code’ message when I try to access the content. Tried to use the help function on the website (app) to contact the company but after typing my message I found out the SEND button isn’t working. I’m very sorry I even bought the book.

Works great!. I only had two problems, but none were the app’s fault. First, I couldn’t find how to record, but my band conductor neglected to tell us how. The second, I couldn’t send the email to my band director, but the WiFi at my school was being slow. Other than that, I could hear the recording great, I had no problem getting my band book in, and when the WiFi was better, I had no problem emailing my band director my recording.

Recording function buggy, otherwise OK. In order to make this app worthwhile, the recording function really needs to work. I can record and save one exercise; after that the app hangs when trying to save any new recordings. Advice?

Alto sax no clarinet. Nothing worked and the app was terrible I play the alto sax and it did. Not give me a choice to pick alto sax it was clarinet only in my book !!!😔😔😔

Flickers. Pages just flicker and flash constantly. If you try to scroll it’s worse. Hard to use. Popup menus are annoying, just make it a normal menu. Play along is hard so that “background” music is too loud to even here the learning part being played.. USELESS

Old text. I have a copy of the Standard of Excellence Conductor’s score but it is an older one. Do I actually need to buy it again in order to activate it on this app?

No longer loading with iOS 14.4 on iPad. Was working ok, but with the latest iPad update it’s just freezing on the blue opening screen.

Can't login. Every time I try to start the app it won't do anything when I press username drop down When I press enter with a password nothing even happens plz fix!

Worthless. This the most worthless app. I bought a book that uses one of their codes and followed the instructions to set up an account on my desktop computer. I tried to add my book to my library multiple times and each time my library said no books had been added. However I tried my access code one more time and the program said my access code was already in use and I wasn’t allowed to install the book! Then, I downloaded the app and the app wouldn’t even let me log in with my existing user account or make a new user account! I am beyond frustrated. You can’t even contact this company for tech support, they will just redirect you to continual new sites online.

How do u use the code. I have an apple product and it seems that I don't know where to go to put in the code

C minus. Standard of Excellence bk 1. Accompaniment is way too distracting. These are first year students. They don’t need a fusion guitar solo the first time they’re playing 1/8 notes. (I’m talking to you, #45.) I get it. You’re creative. Not the correct venue. A very basic background would be much better. How about you give the option of student part only? Slider for tempos would be nice. Also, it’s a pain to enter the license code. There is no “GET PRODUCTS” as mentioned on the inside of the book cover.

Perfect for what I was looking for. Hi. I'm a violin player who has been looking for a way to access the music behind the songs or practice lines in my kjos violin book. When I used the website to access my license for 16 months free usage to the music using a code provided in the back of your book behind the tear away crease tabs or bookmarks. However when I tried to access this the website did not offer any log ins/search bars/ create an accounts and etc. I was stumped. So I decided to look it up on the AppStore seeing as nearly everything is available in an app now and found it. It works great and is wonderful.

Not able to get products.. I'm not able to successfully get to the products section to enter the code for my purchased book. Only when launching the first time it will show a "What's New" page which doesn't let you do anything. After that any attempt will crash the app. It seems the app would be a good complement to the book if it would work. Developer should test before releasing.
