The Holy Bible. Let me start by saying I am not a 1611 KJV onlyist. I love reading a variety of translations. This translation is beautiful and just feels like reading Holy Scripture. However, my favorite part of this app is the daily devotionals. They have been a true blessing since I started reading them.

KJV1611. I’ve downloaded several versions of the Bible. This by far is my favorite. The ability to highlight, copy multiple verses, and search for frames, I think sets it apart.

Bravo to you. Hello, I read some of the reviews about the spelling of the 1611 original version of the King James Bible and I totally agree with you! I read the first book and I had no problem figuring out the words at all! I know all the Bible’s printed today are all wrong and it makes me so mad that people would change the word of God like that! A Refreshing New Look at the Bible. For me reading this bible is like taking a step back in time. The spelling of the words is like a spelling test in old English. It makes you feel like you’re there in that time period. Foe me it gives the words so much more meaning and life. I enjoy reading it very much.

1611 King James Bible. Contains books that were taken out by the Church. If someone is to study true Christianity then I believe that the study of the complete Bible is important. Don't settle for an edited version but study as complete a version of the foundational text the religion is based on.

I can’t read some of the words because of the spelling! Good book for studying.. I love this Bible my only issue is the spelling. I’m not sure if that’s how it was written with back then with a U replacing V, which changed the pronunciation, but that makes it harder to read. Otherwise it’s awesome.

1611 kjv. This app has helped me a lot and for it to be free is mind blowing. When I need my 1611 kjv all I got to do is hit the app and go to war.... Well until they pull the plug on the phones and then you would need your hard or paper back Bible in your possession. I advise that you have both at all times. Then you always be prepared.

This is one of the most awesome Bibles that I have found to be accurate as far as an app It allows you to take notes it allows you to highlight or underlineScriptures that are important to you It also has the apocrypha You can highlight in many colors or you can choose to underlying scriptures that you deem important easy access I say unequivocally thumbs up !!!! this is the best app as far as the Bible that I have ever used Awesome !!!!

Richness. I love the richness that is found in reading a source with some history. It is tried and true. I am not a King James only person but I do appreciate it not being dumbed down.

Ease of use!. I love the reminders to read as well as the knowledge being read about the lord! I am loving an app that you can count on!!!

Only Reason for 2 Stars. As of yet, the developer has done a great service to those who accept the Deuterocanonical books as scripture. The developer has made many Bibles containing the entire translation (meaning with the Apocrypha) available, such as the Douay-Rheims and Synodal Russian translations with audio. This in itself is excellent, though a computer program dictates what is read and pronounced which is problematic for the 1611 Jacobean text. However, this is not the reason I give 2 stars. I’d like to opt out of ads, but the app will not respond to hitting the “upgrade” button. I’d like to support the developer in this way, but cannot as of now due to the bug.

Good to have a digital version. This is very helpful to have a digital version as Bibles, especially older versions have become ridiculously expensive. While I don’t mind the ads at the edge of the screen, as I ignore them, the pop up ads trying to get you to add another app are irritating. Hence why I did not give 5 stars. I would also like to add a response to the person who left a comment questioning why people changed the original 1611 KJV language, remarking that it is a change of the Word of God. That is laughable a comment considering the original languages that the KJV was translating from - ARAMAIC, HEBREW and GREEK, would mean the 1611 KJV is actually a change of language 🙄. Unbelievably scholars and linguists plug hard at bringing accuracy to translations and improving upon the cultural nuances that come with translating foreign languages while contending with the organic and changing nature of modern languages in general. English is particularly difficult to translate into because it is a completely bastardized language which has undergone drastic changes, including up to the point of this 1611 translation, and since. Improving translation accuracy since 1611 becomes necessary in order to bring better understanding to people not speaking outdated English, including those whose first language is not English and who would not pick up on cultural nuances. Arguing about translations is foolish. English is not the original language of Scripture.

Dear Developer, Are You Here????. I would be willing to pay a fee to have the ads removed. They run at the bottom of the screen, but since they are animated and change every few seconds, they are incredibly distracting. I want to focus on the word of God, not worldly intrusions.

Best Bible to read.. I find it very easy to read this old style type English used in the 1611 Authorized King James Holy Bible. If you have the first letter and last letter accurate in a word, then you can make out the word even if all the letters in between are scrambled. It is a good bible to read from.

Words Of Wisdom and Life. This Bible is simple and easy to use I like the settings for the table of contents also I am able to increase my knowledge about the missing Books that are not in the regular KJV which is awesome

Truth. I believe that the word of God is the highest form of light! All books, including the Apocryphal, are very important to me, and in my view, everyone whom claims to desire truth, should read the 1611 KJV, and daily mediate on its doctrine...for it’s the doctrine of the MOST HIGH ELOHIM’S (God’s) doctrine for life and peace!

Saving data. Just wish I could save my notes if I delete the app or lose my phone. How do I save it to come back to

Enhance search features. Not the most search friendly when searching multiple scriptures at once. One has to back out to starting point then start again instead of searching where they left off.

Grammar Errors. 1611 King James Bible App is difficult to read due to grammar errors which changes the Word of God completely. Jesus is misspelled with an “I” as in Ice cream and not with a “J”. The word “Unto” is spelled incorrectly with a “V” and looks like “vnto”. The word “Have” is spelled out like this “Haue” and even the smallest of word such as “Do” which is just two letters is misspelled into a whole new meaning of a word as it spells out “Doe.” “Jerusalem is misspelled into the word “HIERUSALEM. You will not be able to use this to study the Holy Bible KJV because it’s poorly written.

Blessing. Every time I search for a 1611 Scripture in the browser but am recommended to open the app, I marvel that this app exists. At some point, I need to accept this extraordinary app exists, and remember to open the app directly. Bravo!

This Book. I enjoy reading this book, it cover a lot of information that many should apply to their lives. Renewing your mind is self motivation.

1611 King James Bible. I don't think I've even explored all the experiences this app has to offer. It's truly a great way to "keep your chin up" in these hard times! It’s very beautiful and comforting. It’s definitely different than reading the KJV that I’m familiar with. I love it so much. Jesus is the Word - the Way - the Truth and the Life. It is Him.

Holy Bible 1611. an interesting book to have in your collection, it says things differently but more directly even then the king James. I wouldn’t want to have just it because I like to compare different Bibles that it is definitely one to put in your collection.

Spiritually filling. God I’d always a “Right on time God!” He knows the season we’re in and provides for it and us adoringly. The lessons and telling of the events that our brother’s and sister’s had in the past are relevant for us to day! Kingdom living is challenging, enlightening and spiritually focused, important and inspiring. Thanks be to Almighty God for His favor.

US Voices Need to be fixed. I had this app for a while now and tried to use the voices to read a few chapters. After cycling through the selections I found the US options. Every last one of the sound creepy. One of the samples was just creepy laughing. None of them were clear so I could barely understand what was being said. I deleted the app.

I like it!. I downloaded this Bible because I want to study on the omitted Books. It will take longer to read in the beginning as one becomes accustomed to the unfamiliar letters, but that will also give more time for pondering and inwardly digest. Do not know why the “rest of Esther” is blank?

I love the original version!. I gave it this rating because I believe in the authenticity of the original version of the KJV version more than any other versions out there.

1611 King James Bible. This is the first written Bible. This is Gods word, no other Bible was written through Gods instruction. Other Bibles are written in peoples own words, not Gods. In the 1611 King James Bible we should believe every word to be true, because God is truth and his word is truth, and God is the Word. We should feel honored and privileged to have Gods word and teachings to live by.

1611 KJV Bible. Reading Scriptures is very comforting. Reading Scriptures from the original Scrolls is akin to having experienced Sir Richard Burton perform Shakespeare on stage. There simply is no comparison. To own the full leather bound volume of this Bible would be an amazing experience, (to feel the pages, smell the paper and so on!) As a negative, the ads do distract and the button does not appear to work to clear them.

Needs italics, remove ads, & fix typo. It's very convenient to have the AV 1611 text available on the phone for copy and paste. The only thing I would suggest is to add the italicized words in each passage make a way to remove advertisements. NOTE: There is a typo in 2 Timothy 2:4..."No man that warreth, intangleth himselfe with the affaires of this life, that hee may please him who hath chosen him to be a souldJeremiah." The phrase "souldJeremiah" should be changed to the word "souldier."

Best Book EVER. This is more than a mere book, but contain the truth of life, death and the Glory of the Father or heaven. I suggest it to ALL peoples of every age that has the heart and spirit to receive the Words of Life

Verse select. Would be easier to go to verses if you could select the verse you wanna go to & would like to read after selecting the chapter, this would be more efficient so that you wouldn’t have to scroll through the whole chapter to get to which verse you want. My people lost heritage. This Bible with the Apocrypha Books shine light on the true Israelites of the Bible today. In Matthews and Baruch The WORDS tell us that the true Jews were carried away into captivity up until the time of gentiles is fulfilled and the true Jews would lose their heritage but in the last days they would remember their heritage which is the laws and statues of The True Creator of all things. Now, what people have been scattered into captivity among the gentile nations and are still among the gentiles today? This Bible made me to research history thoroughly and I found out it is the so called African Americans along with other so called Negroes that were taken from a kingdom called the Kingdom of Judah which also called the Slave Coast during the Transatlantic Slave Trade. In the Book Revaluation, it pretty much backs up this by saying there will be a people claiming to be Jews but they do lie. The people that claim to be Jews are lying because if they were the true Jews they would be still in the lands of their captivity waiting the day of TRUE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS gather them from the lands they have been scattered as slaves which is also known as the times of gentiles fulfilled.

KJV bible app. Why are they’re misspelled words? It seems like who ever typed this was just going too fast, didn’t not double check the grammar and spelling other than that I give it 3 stars could be a 5 star though.

Closer To Original Text. There are so many versions of The Bible and I (like many of us)seek for The Word as originally scripted. I have held close to my heart the King James Version since the late 70s —relying on The Holy Ghost to lead us and guide us into all truth. Now, having grown even fonder of God’s Word as is written in the KJV Bible (It being above and greater than the thoughts of what men surmise); I dare to venture by grace of our Heavenly Father’s Hand, the closest version to even the original KJV in spelling. Great Free app ! For Bible study. The commentary is great and covers every verse in scripture. The language is a bit old fashioned but understandable. Everything shows up great on screen . There are no glitches as far as I can say after 2 years of use .

Incomplete Bible- Missing Words & verses. UPDATED VERSION STILL NOT ADDRESSED=Just 1 example=Revelations 5:1-"And I saw in þe", should be "And I saw in þe right hand of him that sate on the Throne, a booke written within, & on the backeside, sealed with seuen seales.".... There are a few, perhaps an issue with "þe" terminating verses-great app, though needs all the verses fixed/having the Bible complete-thoroughly checked - or may as well use a modern version... Keep up the good work... Hope it gets fixed :)

Can't get rid of ads. Nice app but the upgrade to no ads does not work and there is no way to contact the developer.

Upgrade to remove ads does not work. Like the app. The different spellings is easy to adapt to. It is however very disappointing that the remove ads feature by upgrading does not work. Is there a timeline when this feature is fixed?

It's almost perfect but.... Why not include the ability to change the text like current English with a "u" representing a "V"?

The true and original English translation of the Bible.. Authority, true Authority in this book. The most accurate and detailed bible we have in the 21st century.

Those voices 😩🫣. I wish the voices didn’t sound like robots 🤖 However the scriptures are on point!

Computer voice. The computer voice is really bad, you can’t hardly make out what is being said. Other then that, I like the Bible, but the Voice takes way from the over all effectiveness of the Bible.

Very interesting!. I have very much enjoyed comparing the 1611 King James to the present King James. So far I have found only spelling and a few grammar differences.

Robotic reader. I wish the audiobook part of the app did not sound like the robot maid from the Jetsons.

Two problems. 1. Computer voice — would be preferable to change to real voices 2. Ads — please remove if possible; would be willing to pay a fee if necessary

Spelling. I would love this app aside from the obvious. Why are there so many misspelled words??? I’ve seen reviews from years ago bringing this issue up but nothing has changed. Please if your going to prepare an app for Gods Word you gotta get the spelling correct.

Revelation 1:3 kjv. The only way to receive knowledge is reading this book and keeping God’s laws…

Typos change the meaning. There is a typo in Proverbs 3:5. You have “leave” and the word in the paper version is “leane”. Just needs correcting.

No ad. The app offers a “NO AD” option but it doesn’t work. Can it be fixed? 5 star app if so.

Additions to Esther. I’ve dwnld’d two versions of this bible app. Both from the same “developer”, I guess? Both are missing the additions to Esther. The pages are blank. Please fix this issue n I will gladly give a better review. No telling what other things are missing. Please FIX!!!

Eye-opening.. This bible, when read with true understanding, allows you to see the church for what it really is.

Baruch Chapter 6 is missing. You all need to be more accurate with this app with a the reference you have so please add the missing chapter in Baruch it end with 6 but you all only have chapter 5. Just Horrible.

3rd Grade reading Lvl.. Love the olden English KJV 1611 version. It gives more room for personal fellowship to introduce an individuals particular perspective or revelation translation
