Room for improvement. Charting is good and gets the job done but would love a longer term view of portfolio growth to see how well I’ve performed over the years. There is also a bug that is annoying saying you have $10,000 available in your account and it’s not true.

Lack of notification on mobile app when there are outages. Recent outage in Aug 2019 was not communicated via mobile app. Furthermore there were errors in the execution of trades which Westpac was unwilling to compensate investor. Lack of a business continuity plan so use this platform at your own risk.

Alerts Unreliable, Service below par. Alerts system often deosnt work. Either SMS or Email msg. Not just on big days either, Alerts are a Very important part of Trading, so Unreliability is very poor. Along with Customer Service aswell. Complaints have to be lodged but go nowhere fast until AFCA is “invited” at least :( Newest excuses are some other Company owns Data that is provided for Market depth and intraday Charts that have Completely Massively Wrong Volume by over >300% to 1000%.

Latest version. The updates are terrible, much harder to move around the app and ux has diminished. Previous version worked well

Possibly good?. But with current regulations almost impossible to open an account. Applied. 2 weeks later I got a comprehensive request for pages of certified verification. Sent them everything they need via postal mail. Then 2 weeks later they request a visit to a branch. Then 2 weeks later request another visit to a branch. At this point it was all too hard.

Absolutely rubbish. This is the worst trading platform I have ever used. As for the mobile trading app, it’s a waste of time. Don’t bother getting it. It tells you nothing. I thought because Westpac is a strong bank with good customer service and the mobile banking app is hassle free and user friendly that this would be much the same, it’s not, it’s useless and the worst trading app on the market. Do not get this!

iPad Watchlists - new bug in latest release.. The latest iPad release will not allow me to scroll to the bottom and select the last stock in a Watchlist. Was working fine previously. I’m using the latest iPad Pro 11 inch model and iPadOS 15.6.1

Ok app. Pros - Trading/order execution is easy and same day transfers to your trading account What’s missing? - View my international holdings : I does it connect to Westpac international global markets so you cannot see the balance - Stock Announcements: Shows multiple announcements but empty when you visit the section which is annoying - Maybe time to lower a brokerage fees? : SelfWealth/ Raize/ Spaceship/Stake has made it so accessible and taken so much of users away. I think it’s about time to Westpac to lift the game

Keep having to delete and restart. Used open first time. Now freezing.

Works as Intended. I have been a long time user of the app and it works as intended or as I need it to be. There had occasional crashes but otherwise is a stable app.

Great trading platform for the mobile. Great mobile trading platform that is secure. I just wish I could trade on other markets not just the asx.

For the novice. Great platform gives a simple all in picture of your investments performance and can delve deeper if you want. I think it’s really good.

Course of sales slow. In the past few months course of sales figures are slow to appear. Difficult when trading.

Not a top quality app. Constantly drops the iOS fingerprint login, so then you have to use pin, then the pin won’t work and so you have to password login and then turn off all the pin and fingerprint login then close the app, then re log back in then turn it all back in. This happens every few days without fail. The app was also for a period of 6months requiring every single login to be done twice, it would say cant connect then it works second time. For a major bank it’s a trash app.

Great app but charts stopped working properly. Chart view is super zoomed in for the past 3 weeks or so, not sure if there was an update. I’ve deleted and reinstalled and same problem. Please update as I can’t retrieve live chats and have to use a 20 min delay from elsewhere.

Very nice and now reliable app.. Very easy to use and quick responsive app. Few months back this app was freezing on my iPhone 12 but now it works well. It looks bugs are fixed. Most of my shares trading are done using this app. Recommend.

Westpac Online Investing App. Whilst improvements have been made such as the charting you still can’t get dynamic pricing (ie live) of depth (you have to constantly refresh) or portfolios which are time delayed. There should be a live mkt cap as well in my view.

Westpac Invest App. This app is everything I need to track my portfolio -stock prices, graphs, P&Ls, even recommendations and company valuations etc. Invaluable at tax time - I can download a trading summary plus a complete record of dividends earned.

Worst update. Couldn’t have got more wrong than the current update. Clunky, laggy and poor all over.

Investment app. The app is great but I wish it had the same detailed info as the web page login .. it’s frustrating not having everything at your finger tips

Not bad. But I keep having to reinstall the app once or twice a week on my iPhone13, because when I go to open it, it just shows a blanks red screen. It’s kind of annoying. Have had no issues on my iPad however.

Carry forward of cost base when merger or takeover. I have noted that when one of my shareholding merged with another company my original cost base disappeared from my holding and as such my profit and loss is no longer there so something the software providers should look at.

App freezes. I constantly need to remove and reinstall app because it freezes and I just get a red screen for days. The only way to fix is to remove and reinstall. Sometimes only lasts two days before freezing again. I am using an iPhone 12.

Backward Step. Obviously not enough testing done on this app. When multiple accounts exist, the app fails to always show and identify the different accounts. For outstanding orders, it fails to show where your order sits. For incorrect codes, it gives inaccurate error message. Why change the previous app. Can I go back to the old app? When I call the help desk, no one answers. TIme to bring your IT dept back to AUS and get things done properly.

Pretty bad. Thankfully, the core function of being able to buy/sell works - but that’s about it. The login process is hit and miss, it’s a lottery for whether I’ll get in with my finger print, my pin or my full password. Multiple sign in attempts usually required. Crucially, I can’t actually set up alerts. I have to log in to see any company announcements, and it’s actually useless in terms of price sensitive announcements, and that is actually really problematic for a trading app.

App flawed. What is going on? The app used to work perfectly but now keeps shutting down and I have to reload from the App Store. Someone pleeeeease have a look and fix it??!!

Crashes since last update. Since the last update I haven't been able to get passed log in details before it immediately crashes on my iPad. Tried reinstalling but no luck again. The new version works great on my iPhone.

Brokerage cost too high compared to others. Need to lower cost for trades more often than 25 a month or give rewards incentives for target tradings

Logging me out. Lately the app will not allow me to sign in, just a red screen. Have to delete the app and reload it. Very annoying

App not loading. Since the latest update the app doesn’t load frequently and I just end up with a blank red screen. The only way I seem to be able to workaround this issue is to shut down my iPhone frequently and restart which will rectify this for two or three times when accessing the app then the issue repeats. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and iOS 15.1 so hardware and software should not be a consideration in attributing to this issue, it’s an app problem.

Very Slow. I just updated to the latest version and found out all the existing tabs are put onto page, which makes it really slow, please put chart, course of sales, news etc onto different tabs like it used to be, I don’t want all of them on one page which slow down my trading. I am thinking of changing to cmc markets.

App blanks out regularly. Routinely get a blank red screen opening this app. Been ongoing for months, and recently moved from iphone7 to 11 with no improvement. I have to remove the app and reinstall it which is extremely annoying. I think Westpac should be able to make an app that works better than this.

Steve Gatt. The westpac app is very user friendly and I find it intuitive so learning curve on how to use is sharp. Would be great if the app accessed real time ASX prices to facilitate a more timely and accurate assessment of share price movements to take advantage of short term volatility.

A lot of room for improvements, a lot of other apps that are a lot better. This app was a huge let down for me coming into the trading scene, going from using the US stock trading app STAKE to using this for the ASX market was a massive step back. Westpac has really fallen behind on areas like this which is a shame because I’ve banked with them my whole life…so far. Calling the help line to get clarity on some of the errors and faults they have only to be transferred from department to department because no body actually know how to deal with this app, or at least this is the way I felt after being on the phone for over an hour and still not having a single question answered. STAKE is introducing a ASX side of the trading app soon, I’m not sorry to say that I will be transferring my investment over to STAKEs accounts ASAP.

Good app. After a few updates the app is quite stable now, does crash and bug out a little bit when the app has been opened in multi tasking all day but other than that, no other issues.

Simple, works smoothly and effectively. Is clearly set out, easy to swap screens and am not bombarded with additional things that I am not wanting

Not impressed so far. Seem to have lost the automatic refresh when buying or selling, have to Manila at keep pulling down for a refreshed price. Also would be helpful to have an option to select the full qty of shares that you’d like to sell rather than having to manually type in the qty to sell. Not very impressed so far today with the updates.

Can’t log into app. This has occurred 6 times in the past two months. Poor customer service.

New version full of bugs. Since updating the app 1 week ago, I have had nothing but issues logging in ”unable to log in due to server or connection issues” and when I finally am able to log in, my portfolio and watch list data come up with the message “unable to receive data try again later” Very frustrating as I am unable to trade or research when I need to Will be transferring everything to another broker if this continues

Temperamental. I find the app occasionally turns temperamental, does not log me in or display the features. Plus the features are very cut down from the desktop version can do better

Keeps freezing. The app keeps freezing and I have to delete and download again. This is extremely annoying! Other than that I am quite happy with the information and presentation in the app.

The Earlier App WORKED this one crashes doing nothing. Hi there, I have bought and sold shares using the app over the years. I would like to access the previous app please as this one crashes immediately. I have done an iPad restart and this continues to crash without accessing any data on completely up to date iOS 11

Help!. I have not been able to open this app on my iPad. It appears this is now a common problem. Please update your app John S

APP is fine but STAKE is chess and just $3 a trade!. I’ll probably use this app for information but Westpac is so expensive compare to the likes of Stake but just put all the trades through using them given their chest sponsored as well!

Crashes. The app crashes upon logging in. The previous version was brilliant but this release is nothing short of a joke.

Formally good but now locks up and needs restart. This app used to be great however for the last few months presumably since an iOS update the app locks up on startup. The app needs a forced close and restart to function. I have noticed this across multiple devices. Please fix and this will be 5 stars again!

Easy To Use. I’m a hack investor with a self managed superannuation fund it I find this App extremely easy to use. With the set and forget ordering and automated payments from my linked account it is quite stress free.

Hangs on startup after OS 15 update on iPad. Extremely disappointing to find that even with so much notice, Westpac can't have this App working for the release of iOS 15. Why am I not surprised? Westpac's approach to customer service is to close branches, decimate telephone service, funnel customers online - then not adequately fund online services or software development. Complaints are brushed off with the Westpac mantra 'we will take your feedback into account' but no effective action is taken to fix the problems. Customers are expected to fend for themselves. The best response it to vote with your feet and take your business elsewhere.

App has many flaws. I’ve recently come to Westpac Invest from CommSec and what a mistake I have made. The app keeps shutting itself down. When reading end of FY reports it’s stalls half way through. When buying penny stocks, your portfolio does not give average market price as it rounds to only 3 decimal places consequently meaning my stock profits/ losses are incorrect! You have to go onto the website to change any set up and when you call the call centre You have loooooong wait times. Obviously no real ‘investment’ has gone into this app by Westpac to make it have suitable for the large investor.

New format not an improvement. I used to like the old format of the App much better. The new one is harder to use and adds nothing to the experience at all.

Near perfect ..but. Would be great to have “ position in the market “ shown without going to the main site.
