Wow. Very user friendly! The previous PTA app was such a pain that I deleted from my phone and never bothered to sign in. I might even set up some playdates thru this app over the summer.

Not getting half of the messages on time. I experience issues with this application used by my son’s school for communication. At least 50% messages don’t come on time. They appear days/ weeks(!) later. I missed a lot of valuable information pertaining to my son’s education. Some messages have no body, only title and acknowledge button. Extremely frustrating!

Feature requests. I like the current features very much and would like to see more incorporated to quickly identify a contact’s status and their availability, from within the left hand margin: 1. A section to add frequent contacts. 2. An indicator to show when they are actively using the app (or request privacy mode), away, in a meeting, commuting, sick or vacationing, etc. 3. A numerical indicator next to the contacts listed in private messages section that indicates how many people are on the thread. Thanks for an awesome app

Great tool!. It's working well for our school. Lots of parents have signed up and the functionality is improving everyday.

Leaves much to be desired. I’m a “room lead” as my school is using Konstella this year, and after a short time using Konstella (online and via this app) I am very frustrated with it all. The app contains features not available via the website; the website contains features not available on the app. It’s all rather non-intuitive and requires a lot of hand-holding with the parents in my class. It does a few things well; it tries to do much more but not very well. A good idea but needs improvement after a lot more testing in the real world!

Great !!!. Easy to communicate with others using the app and easy to navigate

Excited for our 1st school year using Konstella. Some of the best customer service I've ever gotten. The credit card payment capability was easy to set up and works great. We're all ready to get our parent community on-boarded to the website at the open house and are happy to have an easy to use app to conduct PTO business on the go!

Wonderful to be connected. This is my grandson’s second year at Stonebridge and I really appreciate all of the information. It really facilitates communication regarding school events, sign ups and general information. Thank you for making this resource available and for all of the hard work that goes into maintaining it.

Revolutionized School Communication!. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Konstella. It has completely changed, for the better, the way our elementary school communicates with each other. We are all more well informed, know each other better, more involved, and everything in between. To note, Konstella on desktop has way more functionality than the app. Use your computer for creating things and use the app for viewing things, and then you’ll be happy. The customer service is amazing. They always respond within 1 day and have implemented many of my enhancement requests. We are in our 3rd year!

Amazing!. Konstella helps keeps parents informed about news, events and activities at school. It allows for classroom and school-wide engagement. Before Konstella it was challenging to share information and communicate with parents, now parents are more engaged due to the convenience, ease and the ability for parents to sign up to volunteer with the tap of their phone. Furthermore, Konstella offers a centralized location for all classroom and school-wide communication.

It is not user friendly at all!. I think it is so hard to tell!! It should be like Facebook kind a format instead of list style. And it will be nice like your one kids chat room and grade page that it shows on top of main page! Like click to your kids room!! Class dojo does way better!! It is so much clear what is going on at school and news of principal comments on the app than this! We are getting all kind info from email and this app and each grade has on site! It is so frustrating to gather all the informations! It should be all in one place!!

This app is ok. This app was going great until we found out that the was a phishing attempt this app should know haw to prevent that.

Krashing often. Konstella is crashing often. It has already crashed twice or thrice and I’ve only been using it for 3 minutes. Last year it didn’t crash this much. I hope the developers identify the bugs. I experienced the crashes while switching between apps while updating my child’s classroom and while generally using the app (and switching back from other apps). So it may be a cache issue.

Parents united. Thank to this app, I'm able to keep up with the latest news and sign up for volunteer work easily/.

Just ok. Used this app all throughout last school year. Not really impressed. Can't access it for some reason unless I'm at home on wifi. It will not work on my data plan. Only get some notifications and not others. My husband and I downloaded app at the same time but his version was different (and better) than mine. I deleted and tried to update to no avail. I like to have an actual school roster which this did not have and once the school year ended all roster/classroom info is deleted. It really needs some work. Not to mention I deleted the app over summer and now that school year is back up and running I can't get back online through the app, only on a computer. So stupid. I should still be able to log in on the app without a new invite. This all is a pain. I wish our school would use something else.

Love it!. Still some areas for improvement but overall it's a great way to stay connected with our daughter's school.

Buggy garbage with UX from Windows 95. Choose a better platform. Your parents and PTO will thank you.

Excellent app for organizing school/parent communication. Our school started using this program/app this school year and it has been an incredible timesaver. Where beforehand we had many different platforms being used my different classrooms/committees, we have now streamlined almost all communications, sign-Ups, event postings, etc through this app. It takes some getting used to, like any new program, but 2 months into the school year it is proving very worthwhile. There is also great feedback between the user and the app creator. Recommend!!

Sparse labeling but if you click around you can find things. If you see a blank screen with numbers of parents be sure to click the top right icon to get to the actual list of parents.

Limited app and lags website. Our school has used this for one full year and starting a second. Compared to the computer version, the functionality is very limited and not real time. Neither the website or app are intuitive. I constantly need to help people navigate the sections to find information. Exchanging messages with people is unreliable. I may get a message alert but when I try to go to the conversation the most recent exchange doesn’t appear for minutes to hours. It’s a great idea in principal but not very user friendly and lacks good online help and tutorials.

Needs an update. I've only been using the app and website for a couple days as a room parent for my child's class. I am also frustrated that the app and website do not have the same features. My biggest frustration though is with the group chat function. I'll receive a notification on my lock screen that someone has contributed to the chat but the message doesn't load when I open the app. My group keeps disappearing and then reappearing. A comment from yesterday finally appeared today. Please fix this!!

Messages need Like buttons. Messages need Like, Love, Support, Sad buttons to show acknowledgement to messages without needing to be verbal.

Such a helpful tool. Definitely have enjoyed using this app as a way to stay up to date on PTA related events, school events, and general notifications.

Finally! Centralizes everything for the parents.. I got tired of all the different accounts and services we needed to use to deal with school things - contacting other parents, signups, etc. Our parents group rolled this out this year, and it made things much easier.

Like the app but.... Overall I like the app but I'd like to see if konstella can program in a "Mute" button so one can selectively mute members so their post won't appear in your feed. If this function gets implemented, then you can simply mute all parents except the teacher/room parent, etc. It would be super helpful in straining out the unnecessary notifications.

slow and glitchy. i despise this app with every fiber of my being. It is unfathomably slow and unreliable to the point of uselessness. It takes forever to load messages, i can never tell when they've been updated and more often than you can imagine it just freezes and shows a blank screen. I hate hate hate this app and I'm annoyed that my kid's school has decided throw all school communication into this spectacular piece of junk.

Great idea and useful. My son's school just started using it this school year and this app has been very helpful in reducing paper usage and improve interaction and participation for parents.

Our school 💜 Konstella. This service is fantastic - both the web platform and the app. It has streamlined all of our school communications and improved our PTA's overall organization and calendar planning. Parents love the ease of volunteer signups, and having announcements and calendar events in one easy interface. Konstella's developers are always working on ways to make improvements and added features, and they are quick with assistance if you have questions or need help. Such a great app and website!!!

Great functionality and an elegant interface. Simple and easy to navigate, but has all the functions you need to stay informed and engaged.

Our school is finally organized!. It's fantastic to be able to do everything from one place - look up people in our school directory, sign up to volunteer, see when events and meetings are, and communicate within my child's classroom. Thank you konstella!

Great for communicating but.... Why is it not possible to have the dates hyperlink to my iPhone calendar. I can’t be the only one who lives and dies by their calendar. This is my only problem with the app, please add this feature!

high praise for this site!. as a grandparent , of a student at the school... plus, being a neighbor... i am happy to get the notifications/ messages from my grandsons teacher... and i have never had an issue with the site!

Would be fantastic if it worked. Often times is slow and useless! Shows empty classrooms when they are not, sometimes I can't see the messages... it's super frustrating and nerve wrecking! At least it's free! The idea is very good and if it worked it would be fantastic and I'd give it 5 stars!

Great app for PTAs!. This app is perfect for PTAs with all the functionality that they need. Classrooms, committees, calendar, sign ups, etc. I love the personalized calendar for each user! The Konstella folks are very responsive with feedback and bugs, which is helpful and encouraging. I wish you could do more in the mobile app (like what you can do on the site).

Has a lot of bugs. I love the potential of this app but I think we aren’t using it because it’s so buggy. It just needs a better development team working on it who can just make it function better.

Impossible make changes. My children went to different schools in the same school district . Unfortunately it was impossible to have both on this app . It went even worse when they changed their schools . It’s still stuck at the first choice .

Great to stay connected. I really love this app as a way for our class to stay connected and info share, especially when remote schooling!

In a word, AMAZING!. This app really stands alone, created by PTA/PTO parents it really is the only app I found like it. We added our school and it's been such a great way for parents to get involved with the school so easily. Highly recommend Konstella!

App buggy and needs Dark Mode. This app has a problem uploading images. It won’t appear most of the time until you kill the app and restart it. Also would be great if we can get dark mode on this to be easier on the eyes.

Over notifications. Downloaded because I kept getting emails about random parents chatting. Don’t care. What do I find? No setting not to be immediately notified on my phone for a chat message. How many chat apps do I have to have? I’m either chatting on the app or not. This app forces chat notifications so either I get spammed or turn off all notifications. Don’t force notification. One star.

Exceptional app for school!. Konstella's app is beautifully designed, and is the perfect way to make sure you ding miss a school event or announcement, and to connect with other school parents!

Least organized and User friendly App I've ever used. I am SO disappointed with this app. When you have multiple children at one school this app isn't usable. Things are not organized! Its a mess of information piled up everywhere. Forget navigating classrooms with easy or photos or newsletters. Even trying to look at the calendar is a mess. When you open the app- the very first screen is a hodgepodge unorganized info. If you are thinking of using this app please check other more friendly apps for schools. I do not recommend this app at all!

Crashes a lot!!!. The app keeps on crashing and can’t even finish reading a single update from the teacher. Quite frustrating! The old emails way wouldn’t have this problem.

Not happy with my school selecting this app.. First registration is hard to see. Dark gray on dark green? Any thought to contrast? I know I can read the screen but really small fonts makes it hard for Grandparents or some Parents during registration and usage. My favorite, trying to send a private message to another parent or teacher, and I get a blank white screen, no keyboard no way to write a PM to someone. Any thought to Quality testing? Last the incessant notifications one day in any my phone buzzes more due to this app than my work. Not happy with my kids school choosing this poorly implemented app.

Admin and Parent. Highly recommend this app! I use with two different schools and it has been a huge support for families and leadership! Communication is easy and consistent. Builds relationships faster and well between parents as well as between leaders teachers and parents! Calendar is very useful including the ability to sync to different calendar programs. Carries over from year to year. Program and app Support is fantastic and responsive. Something to be aware of is try to use the full internet version once to get used to it then the app is easier to understand.

Deleted messages or groups keep coming back. I’ve been using this app for 4 years. I keep trying to delete messages and groups I should no longer be in, and I don’t care to see, but they all keep getting reloaded. Developers, pls fix.

I hate Konstella!. The links from the emails do not open properly in the App. This is the least user-friendly social media platform I have ever used.

Clunky and impossibly slow. While the app has many features, the current version is simply inoperable in that it takes actual minutes to open anything.

Pretty good for me. I enjoyed this app. It helped me stay up to date with everything going on throughout 2017/2018. Without this app I would’ve forgotten many things this year.
