What is tracfone wireless my account app? Take command of your wireless service, anywhere at any time! The TracFone My Account App lets you manage most aspects of your wireless service right from your phone.

Here is how it works:
-Once downloaded, open the app and after agreeing with the End User License agreement, you will have the option to log in (if you already have a TracFone Account) or you can create an account by selecting Create an Account.

- Once logged in, you will be able to see your Service End Date, keep track of your Balance on your home screen, refill your Airtime by selecting Buy Airtime or Add Airtime if you have an Airtime PIN.

-Other features include Credit Card management, Adding or Deleting a Device from the Account, viewing your transaction history or you can use our retail locator.

Airtime PINs are located on the back of the TracFone Service Card or on your register receipt. To read the PIN on the TracFone Service Card, simply locate the grey strip on the back of the card. Scratch off the gray strip in order to reveal the Service Card PIN.

Not secure. I used my card to purchase minutes in the app, but somehow my account got hacked and my card information was stolen to purchase minutes I did not authorize and that didn’t go on my phone. I called Tracfone to report it, but they did not do anything for me to get that $40 back nor the minutes that were purchased using my card. I was just told to change my password. I did that and had to cancel my card. This app is not safe to use your card information on. One thing the app doesn’t have is that I would like to be able to receive receipts showing what I bought and when on the app. Also, I’d like to be able to view my phone usage on a report, showing the calls I made on which days. The app is lacking a lot of important information that every customer needs.

Works great. I have multiple phones with Tracfone. Have been a member of TF for @ 20 years now. I can keep track of all my phones on all my devices. I buy air time a year at a time. It’s MUCH MUCH cheaper than any other carrier I am aware of. Uses the same lines and towers as ATT. 1.5 gig storage (on the yearly plan) is way more than enough.....unless you want to store the Library of Congress! Very very few people need the 5 gig storage that most all other carriers are trying to make you believe you need.

Terrible customer service. I recently bought a new Tracfone IPhone 6s. I called and had my old number and data transferred from my old LG phone to the new phone. The number and data did transfer and the new iPhone is working fine, but my old phone is still working with the same number. Also, I can’t delete the old phone from my account and the new phone isn’t even listed. I’ve called customer service 5 times and spent at least a total of 4 hours talking to them. Still not fixed. Don’t buy a phone from tracfone. When my data runs out, I’ll be switching providers.

Does Not Work Well. The My Account Tracfone App is flawed, with no way to contact the app developer. The Dashboard part of the app used to give you realtime data on remaining for Data , Call Minutes and Text. This function no longer works, the doenload wheel just spins forever! This data will show upon the internet website, but is slower and less convenient. The app requires a better interface with the Tracfone data systems. Of course , data availability across Tracfones support system, is awful. Try to get a tech support person to verify anything financial you have already done!

I appreciate service. I have had my tracfone for a long time and I am so glad because when I hear about the problems of others, I feel blessed. I have always received excellent service. No one can make me give up my tracfone. I try to tell others to switch but they continue on because of contracts or unbelief. That’s what I don’t have to worry about. Elder Linda J. Jones-Nadeem

Lovin’ TracFone. Hi guys, Let me tell you something - I have been a loyal TracFone user since 2016. I am so pleased with their services recently. I have worked with their operators to get me back up and going when I was transferring numbers once. It took awhile, but it worked out in the end. I crossed over the border once and learned I had to replace my sim card. Oops! Explained the situation learning too late what happens when you cross the border with a TracFone and forget to turn it off beforehand. TracFone took care or me and mailed me a new sim with simple instructions how to get re-activated with my same number. Now I am using one of the latest iPhones, 2020 SE model with 64 Gb and the latest tech. I depend on the phone’s capabilities and the internet for work picking up batches from InstaCart. Using TracFone’s “data” internet service while in the car and at those stores that don’t provide internet service may cause difficulties when the signal gets lost, but it gets all figured out in the end, as well as anyone can hope for, that is. For what you get from TracFone at their price makes me feel great knowing I have such convenience. I can only hope they continue to get even better and thrive! Not safe. Imagine that you are driving at night and your car breaks down (you’re a woman in this scenario). You go to call for a service or a friend, but none of your calls will go through. Only now do you realize that you are out of minutes. You can buy more, but it will take several minutes for them to be applied. During that time you could be killed by a serial killer. I’m exaggerating a little bit, but I’ve been caught in several bad situations without minutes or data (no maps). I’ve left feedback in their surveys asking for a warning notification when you’re running low several times, and I know friends of mine have, too. They also are now plan-based, which is totally different from what they set out to be. I’m done with TracFone because I don’t feel safe with it.

Only one complaint about otherwise excellent service.. I have used tracfone off and on (mostly on) for about the last 10 years. I have never had a dropped call, and am quite pleased with the day-to-day service. My only complaint if the few times I have had to deal with customer service on the phone. That has been a nightmare every time. The 2 times that I left tracfone was because I didn’t get the help I needed. The fact that I don’t have to call them very often is definitely a positive.

App won’t update balance info. I’ve had this problem with Straight Talk and Tracfone. I’ve even reinstalled both apps and they won’t retrieve my data information. I just get the circle of death that keeps going and going and going...well, you get the idea. I have to go on the websites anyways so this app gets 1 star because it does show when your plan is going to expire. Update it people so we don’t have to use the website or text. Is that not what these apps are for? Convenience? Then fix it.

I love my Tracfone!. For only $100 a year I have a great phone with all the minutes I need. And they roll over every year. I’ve been with Tracfone for nearly 20 years and could not be happier. My friends pay $100 a month for their regular service plans, while I pay it once a year. I’ve turned other friends on to Tracfone and they love it too!

PLEASE FIX THE “You’re request is taking longer than expected. Please try again later” error…. On the app, the Balance Summary part on the Dashboard has been showing “You’re request is taking longer than expected. Please try again later” error for nearly two months now. I have chatted and called numerous times with customer support about this issue and I have received responses varying from “it’s fixed now” to simply being hung up on. I have tried ALL of their suggestions several times over and nothing has worked. This is a issue that has been causing customers problems for, what I can tell as far back as 2015 and it needs to be fixed!! Good luck getting someone on the phone who actually knows what they’re doing & speaks/understands English because they all seem to reading from the same script for pretty much everything. It comes down to good phone service and prices but if you ever need help with anything on a customer service or technical support end… well, you’re pretty much screwed.

Love tracfone BUT. I have had a TracFone for years and love the service and the cost. Just ordered a new phone and lucked out, did not have to call for help to get it set up. There call center is a terrible!!! When ever you need help plan on at LEAST an hour. The computers are slow and they are waiting on there end and you of course are waiting. Ten if you need technical help you always have to talk to the person in training for an hour or more before they transfer you to the person that can fix your problem in 2 minutes. But the app is good if you can get your answer there and if it is up and running. Took me all morning to order my new phone because there was some kind of problem. I did get free 2 two shipping from FedX and it only took 5 days to get here!.

Sweet app!. I've been a tracfone user forever, cause I'm cheap! It's had its ups and downs, but I've stuck with it, and I'm very happy! They have become so much more user friendly. I activated an iPhone on my account and am SO happy! Buying time, data, text is flexible and easy. The app takes a little while to get used to, maybe loads a little slow, I don't care. It's the best freaking deal ever. I'm telling everyone about it! 😊❤️

Just as good as anybody but cheaper. The service is just as good as my previous carrier. I may have to buy minutes and data before the end of the year, however I am still saving over $400 a year even if I do have to add extra minutes and data. This is a big deal when you’re on a fixed income. My biggest surprise is that I cannot tell the difference in the quality of service and your TracFone mobile app is way easier to use in my previous carriers mobile app. Thank you TracFone for being there with the quality of service that you provide.

Afraid to be on hold with a 800 number. While resolving some problems with a credit card as well as a store account I was on the phone for several hours to a couple 800 numbers. Then I was shocked to find out that all of these calls (on hold time) were charged to my phone account. When I called Trackphone about the situation I went through several representatives (on various occasions)And none of them told me that Trackphone will not allow Wi-Fi calling. Apparently, these Trackphone employees were also ignorant about the topic of Wi-Fi calling and tried to give me instructions that were useless. This wasted over an hour of time which I have to pay Trackphone to use

Slow and clunky but works.. The app is slow and clunky but works. The Trackfone Myaccount app needs a major makeover. It just needs to be redesign from the ground up. Seems to me like they are still using the same API codes from the “Nokia monochrome days. As new technology comes along, they just patch on new codes with whatever chewing gum they can find. When new codes are out of reach, we’ll, they just paint over the old ones. Honestly the app works if you are patient and persistent to get around nonsense.

Update Update Update. Tracfone has resolved my issue they did what the guy on the phone told me they wouldn’t, return my unauthorized payment, I didn’t have auto refill on and I was covered and he didn’t even know that, so the operator I spoke to wasn’t trained well enough to make any sense of my Account with tracfone, I am happy 100 times with my services I just did like them trying to take funds that were never owed.

Tracfone Account App Won’t Accept Logins.. I deleted this app a year ago because it won’t let me log in using either typed password or thumbprint, no matter what I do: I reinstalled today in hopes of being able to use it again (as its last update was around 3 months ago), but same issue remains. I guess I’ll just have to keep using the website shortcut I saved to my iPhone shortcuts instead — it's a shame when a slow website link has more functionality than a service’s app.

Great app. I've only had one problem with it, but the problem was created with my account. Somehow it lost my password and email info. My internet connection had gone down last night and it seems to have effected it. My first call went to an awful rep who left me hanging on line. I had to hang up and recall. The second rep was EXCELLENT. She was polite, patient and easy to understand. She walked me through several steps, and fixed the problem. I was extremely pleased with her. My app and account are now working fine!

Happy with my phone and service. The only service I have had is TracFone and it has served me well. I started with a flip phone years ago and now have an iphone. The website isn’t always available, I have always gotten my needs taken care of over the phone-customer service or through the app.

My trac. Great app and service! I have been a customer for many years and service has just been getting better. It is so easy to register new phones and switch between them in your account or my devices. I do not use my cell phoneLike many people do so track phone service is perfect for me. I love it.

Unable to open app. First off, I love using tracfone. It's worked well for me. The problem I'm having is I cannot open the app. When I press on the icon it starts to open then doesn't. Noticed in comments this is happening to others since a recent update. I was able to view my account by going to the tracfone website but would like to be able to do that from the app. Please fix. Better Than Best. My husband and I have been using TracFone for so many years, we’ve lost track of the number of years! One of The absolute best features is the ability to mix our plans at our own individual digression. I prefer to pay for minutes as I need them and he prefers a more structured plan. There are many, varied plans and features we have tried throughout our years with TracFone and have appreciated all of them. We hope the best for their company in the future. Best Ever. My wife and I have had tracfones for many yrs and for what we pay and the guality we get cannot find a better deal anywhere. My only complaint was yrs ago I had to call and talk to an operator,being a little hard of hearing always had to have them repeat a lot. Now my daughter in law does everything on line and its just great. Please keep your pricing low as you have for so long. We really appreciate it. BEST DEAL GOING THANKS DAVE LEBLOND.

A1 since day one. Iv used a lot of phone companies in my 29 years of livening on this planet, and I have to say your service is amazing and one of the best if not the best iv had and I am never going to switch back…. If you would let me get a year of service for free and I’ll tell everyone who wants to get a new phone company to switch to you guys !!!!

Good but not so good on Unlimited Plan. I have used Tracfone for years. Liked the service. Then signed up for unlimited talk and text. It came with limited data. The issue is whenever it runs out of data. I have to call the help desk. It takes 30 plus minutes to get them. Then the standard bouncing ball. They refuse to go to higher tech right away. Multiple reboots. Then sent to higher tech. That usually disconnects. Then another 30 min wait. The then the bouncing ball. Then … you get the point. Many minutes maybe hours getting them to transfer the purchased data minutes to the unlimited data plan. The data does get put in a bucket and kept there but it is unusable. Till someone from higher tech fixes it on their end. Very dissatisfied with the unlimited plan. Will probably never purchase again. They just don’t have the bugs worked out yet.

Some issues. Service is great but I can never hook up my family’s account into my phone to see the data and such I’ve used, hopefully one day it fixes but until then the app is unusable on my phone, customer service through there is great though and they helped me by giving me a number to text to find out my balances, I doubt they read though but if they did I hope they implement a thing for iPhone that can automatically tell you your phones balance at least

Tracfone review. I have been a Tracfone customer for over 10 years. I find the current website to be easy to use and complete in its functions. There was a period of time when It was transitioning to the current one where i could not have said that; it, the website, was frustrating and not reliable. Now the transition is complete and the website functions very smoothly. 5 stars 👍

Not Able To Get Info. When clicking on seeing how many minutes I have, it never comes up. Always says try later. You have to text to find out your totals. Why use the app at all, then? Also, there should be notification when you are getting low on any time. Please update your app.

Buggy as the service department. Pros: Just as good of coverage as Verizon. Cons: Auto refill charged me twice. Sign in asks for you password but won’t let you in until you reset the app and then enters in your email and then your password. Service department couldn’t help with double charge for on auto refill. So canceled auto refill so it wouldn’t happen again on auto refill date. Very polite service people but that doesn’t fix the incompetence. Lots of thank you and sorry to hear you are having problems.

Cheap and easy. You can get unlimited phone minutes for $20 a month which includes a little data for necessary surfing. This keeps the monthly expenses so low! The signal strength is excellent because they use Verizon and AT&T towers. And you can get through to a live person in their customer service. The only downside is they do not offer the plans with more data like the big 3 carriers, but that is how you save money - you don’t pay for much data.

My only cellphone company. This is an additional comment regarding the app. To date this App functions fine, I am able to get support and account info without any problems; however, I have never used it to purchase anything. To those wishing to purchase online i suggest you don’t trust personal info to any app that doesn’t use highest security; ie, face, fingerprint, etc. to identify purchaser.

It didnt use to log me out each time i minimized the app but now im FORCED to RELOG BACK IN EACH AND EVERY TIME I WANT TO CHECK MY DATA OR ANYTHING, the finger print log in no longer works and when i autofill the password(they are so stupid you can not even paste your password into this one app for tracfone yet any my other apps will let me paste it..), it wont accept that a password has been auto-filled it i go the EXTRA STEP AGAIN AND type a space and erase it IN THE to make the app notice the pass word so i can even hit the log in button… if you try to type after the auto fill to get it to recognize the password has been filled it will just erase the password…. Been going on for a week now and im getting sick of it and thinking of looking for a different provider that takes better care of their VERY IMPORTANT ACCOUNT WATCHING APP. These Scammers at tracfone must be trying to make use go over our data limits while we cant watch them so they can charge us extra while they force us blind to our accounts if we cant reach out passwords..

I love my TracFone!. I’ve had TracFone for a number of years now and always pay at least a year in advance and absolutely love it. I believe I’m using an iPhone 6 for my TracFone which is used for all of my business calls. I have an apple iPhone 11 that I wish I could use with TracFone but it’s a sealed unit and no place for a SIM card, so I guess I’ll have to keep my present carrier with it. Anyway anybody thinking about getting the TracFone should go for it because for the yearly price you can’t beat it.

Works well.. The app works well and seems to function to capacity 99 percent of the time. I enjoy the FaceCheck access, as it seems to work fairly seamless when a accessing my account. Adding new data and usage is simple and painless as well. Aside from incidental app malfunction or crash, it’s a excellent app to utilize with trac phone.

Love Tracfone!. This app is very convenient to keep up with my account. Tracfone has saved me so much $ on my cellphone bill. I’m so glad that they have a great selection of Apple IPhones and I love that I can use my points for service plans and now can use my points towards updating my phone. I get excellent cell coverage too.

Tracfone my account app. This app is great that it constantly shows the current balances & has a widget to quickly view as well from the iPhone lock screen!! It’s great that when you open the app it updates the balances right on the front page so you instantly know how much data, texts, and minutes you have as well as the Service End Date. And that all shows on the widget too! :)

The app is good, customer support is terrible.. This app is great. I have used tracfone for years, but I dread ever needing to call customer support. I recently called to switch my wife’s number a phone I bought from tracfone and had used it for a few months to try it out. When my wife’s other phone died we wanted to switch her old number to her new phone. They told me that her phone wasn’t compatible with tracfone (again, I bought the phone from tracfone and had been using tracfone minutes with it already). I was on the phone with them for over an hour and never got it resolved. This was just the most recent experience-I have had similarly frustrating experiences in the past.

Tracfone. I love it , period. So far , for years now , I’ve had it and while its signal strength hasn’t always been there for me , I still rely on it a very great deal. I love not getting a bill. When I’ve called customer service in the past any issues I’ve had were resolved very satisfactorily. It’s the only wireless service I need and use. Thank You for being there for me Tracfone. Great way to save money. Pros: Have always liked Tracfone because it saves so much money for a student who doesn’t need a lot of text/min. Just needed an available number for emergency use. Cons: The app could be better when it comes to loading. Also maybe like give free data access while using the app because I couldn’t buy more data when I’m out of data unless I have WiFi so it’s a huge problem when I’m out and I need data desperately. Bugs to be fixed: After I bought mins/data the app brings me back to dashboard but I couldn’t buy more airtime if I want to. Only the last 4-5 buttons are there. The add and buy airtime went missing unless I exit the app and login again. Also the loading on my a available text/min/data seems to always not be accurate. And the loading takes very long or doesn’t load at all. Additional suggestion/request: On top of free access while using app because (more likely than not you’ll get more people to buy your product anyway), can you show details of the plans the users currently have. I clicked on my auto refill plan to check on it and I could not find details of exactly how many mins/data/text other than price and plan. Anyway, I still like this plan overall despite some flaws in app. Saves me money in general and from where I’m from, cell service is not bad. (Except sometimes during heavy rain, call will go through but actually the other end wouldn’t receive it, not sure what problem exactly it is)

What, no zero star option?. My father has been with tracfone since 2006. He had a phone that worked on the 3G network and needed to be replaced since 3G will be obsolete eventually. I’ve been working for three days to get the new phone activated. EVERY customer service rep has me do the same actions, they don’t keep notes on what each of them has already done. One day I spoke with four reps and was on the phone for almost five hours, anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour each. It’s now the fourth day and they still can’t activate the phone so it can make calls. Funny thing though…the minutes and days transferred over and I’ll lose them now (1,100+). They say they don’t have a complaint department so I’ll let the whole world know my complaint here, and I’ll file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Wisconsin and Florida.

Unreliable Inconsistent Service & Assistance. I have been with TracFone for many years, and it worked fine for a cheap no contract service. I’ve even highly recommended it to many friends and family. My only concerns have been recently when I had to call customer service after the extremely rude chat assistant couldn’t help me get the service I’ve always had. Apparently they just decided to stop offering the service I’d been bragging about to others. Now I feel cheated and embarrassed about having recommended them. They cannot treat a long-term customer with respect and constancy after all these years? Shameful! No thank you Ramel. I will not be putting myself through your inept and rude customer service again. There is no excuse for their inability to actually do something about how your business has cheated me and embarrassed me. I don’t need idiots telling me how sorry they are for the inconvenience when they cannot do something about it or connect me to someone who can. No way to run a business.

Keep trekking w Tracfone. Tracfone has been a great value. Tracfone has saved me hundreds of dollars in monthly fees that are are charged by the other companies. Plus, Tracfone has kept rolling over unused minutes. Tracfone provides a wide range of phones and I am completely happy with my iPhone five. The sound quality is as good as a landline. Thanks, Tracfone, for providing a good and cost saving service. :)

Terrific. This app is great! We’re able to track how many minutes, text messages, and data left on your plan. And when it’s hard to find a card to add on things, you can just do it on the app. Very easy to work with and is very convenient.

Love my Tracfone service. I’ve been a Tracfone customer for over 6 yrs—I buy the 1 yr service card & extra data as needed. The minutes & text & data rollover with continuous service. Tracfone offers a good choice of smartphones including older Apple & Samsung Phones or SIM card. I don’t need to call internationally, but you may buy international call minutes. Tracfone service meets all my cellphone service needs at a very manageable and affordable price. I’m very satisfied!!

Took my money. Twice now I’ve bought an unlimited plan after using up a prepaid plan and it just gave me a zero balance on minutes data and text and nothing would work. Tech support couldn’t figure out how to fix it without messing it up further and trying to get me to do a factory reset on my phone. Was on the phone all day with them trying to get a refund because they couldn’t even find my transaction after tech support deactivated my account and reactivated it several times. Done with tracfone, switched to Mint.

Doesn’t work more than half the time. I just had to remove it in hopes that the redownload will fix it. Lately, it won’t log into my account even with my thumb or if I manually enter. Actually I have to back the last character out of password and reenter it just to login almost every single time! Lately all I see is the error message that app isn’t available. Like the service cost but rarely have 4g and app doesn’t work for the most part. ALSO AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, MY PAY DATE KEEPS GETTING EARLIER AND EARLIER AND WHEN I SPEND THE TONS OF TIME IT TAKES TO GET A REP, THEY BEHAVE AS THOUGH I DON’T MAKE SENSE. LIKE I’M NOT SMART ENOUGH TO SEE THAT MY PAY DATE WAS THE 20th, then the 15th, then the 12th, etc etc etc. Is it too much to ask anymore for reasonability and respect and honesty?

Great. I paid like $100 one January and I didn’t have to pay for minutes, texts, or data until September. The prices are great especially if you usually use your phone on WiFi. And the app is waaaaayyyyy better than it used to be it’s much quicker and it’s always up to date now. And they still have they still have the bring your own phone program so you can have an iPhone without the expensive coverage bills of other companies.

Last update rendered this app useless. This app WAS really great, I had actually given it 5 stars before but now I can only give it one star because it simply has not been working since the latest update. It’s supposed to show me how many minutes the phone had left so I can buy more minutes but it no longer works. Instead it says “Your request is taking longer than expected. Please try again later”. It has not worked since. I hope the developers update it and fix the bug soon because this app used to be so good and so useful.

solution for Canadian residents. Tracfone is a very economical solution for Canadian residents working in the USA or who frequent the USA often and don’t want to pay they extra roaming chargers. 25$ gets me 2 months of data, sms and voice. I have been on the program for just under a year now and have yet to use up all my minutes, texts or data. I paid the initial $30 for a SIM card and plugged it into a old unlocked iPhone.

Fantastic. This tracfone let me use my Canadian phone , I just changed the SIM card, so simple and very reasonable costs. When going back I just switch SIMS. Have all my contacts and pics. So long as I keep this with time on it (6mth limit ) I don't lose anything ...great ..

Worst service ever!. I am a Canadian on vacation and bought into this scam of a service. It’s data and wireless plan do not work don’t be fooled and don’t waste your money! My screen says LTE but you can not get any service anywhere don’t bother ! I will let everyone I know to never use this service. They take your money and provide zero service in return. So very very dissatisfied and disappointed !

Tracfone app. Very complete application! The only thing who miss wirh tracfone is to call in Canada, we have to pass by Tracfone with 1-800 when will we be able to call directly our number as all other phone company?

TracFone app does not open to login. App since last update open but closes immediately.. Does not work on my iPhone 4

Crash. Splash logo screen then boom.. Update doesn't work on iPad 2 maxed out with IOS 9.3.5. If this doesn't work on older platforms then warn the update. Now I need to delete the app and see if I can load the other version.

RA in GA. Very happy with the service I have been getting have not been any where that I have not been able to get service. Very Very happy with price I pay for me it’s only been a few dollars a month on average just bought my first card in well over six months for thirty five dollars which will last me for months love this plan.

Tracfone has gone to crap. Avoid Tracfone… almost nothing works now… website has been broken for WEEKS or more… and it’s virtually impossible to get your true and complete balances and service dates. I think I lost a lot of data because they failed to give me correct service date info and it expired. And the add airtime for a friend function has also been broken for weeks now.

Company representative. Your rep did an excellent job handling when I was out of texts. He reviewed my account, found the problem and walked me through what to do! Tech’s are so much better than 20 yrs ago, when I started with your company. Thanks

love it when it works. Tracfone is the best when it works. I don’t use my phone much so its my perfect plan. But, I use my wife’s unlimited Verizon plan to talk to customer service and keep it working. Just last month I went onto the app and it said my account did not exist, and I’ve had this account for three years. An hour with customer service fixed it.

Tracfone is best. I have user Tracfone for over twenty years. I have an IPhone S Plus now. It is from Tracfone. The app gives fast information about my phone’s time and data remaining as well as links for buying a refill plan. Also my number is easy to find there.

Ever since Tracfone became part of Version family everything stopped working. I haven’t been able to log into my account via app for four weeks and my online account claims that I don’t have any lines or transactions. I’ve been on the phone every week with costumer service and the problem seems nowhere near to being solved. I’m extremely frustrated at all the off days I’ve wasted on the phone trying to have this problem fixed. PLEASE FIX WHATEVER IS WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM!

Keep trekking w Tracfone. Tracfone has been a great value. Tracfone has saved me hundreds of dollars in monthly fees that are are charged by the other companies. Plus, Tracfone has kept rolling over unused minutes. Tracfone provides a wide range of phones and I am completely happy with my iPhone five. The sound quality is as good as a landline. Functionality returned. I had written an earlier review that complained of the removal of the pay-as-you-go plans from the app, but they seemed to have returned, which is a step back in the right direction. I wish this had been the case when I was buying my minutes, though. Still only 3 stars because the information populates slowly in the app once it’s opened. Still needs work.

Minus two stars for this reason.. I’ve used the app for over three years and it suddenly stopped working and displayed a security error message. Tracfone tech support was unable to help and essentially unresponsive — they seem to read from a script. Anyway I finally realized the app doesn’t work with VPN enabled. That’s not really a problem but minus two stars for their tech support.

Confusion. The app was working just fine till this most recent update. Now I can’t log in or access my payment options. I used customer support but that only helped with logging in. Now I need it for my payment options. It’s like my account has been deleted from my side, but TracFone says my account still exists. This is confusing! I am a full-time Lyft driver. I need this to work!

App’s authentication services too quirky. The iOS app provides wonderful presentation of account and services information and is far superior to the browser GUI, but the app’s authentication functionality is dreadful. I have never seen the Touchid work successfully. With the most recent update, I could not logon manually and had to switch to Safari to purchase additional air time. Love the app, but the interaction with authentication is way too quirky.

Unable to connect. On my phone app I cannot check my service I get warning : unable to connect to service at this time, sorry for inconvenience. This has been for over 4 days now

Good Information. Good information to have about your phone. The data is sometimes a little slow in downloading and populating the screen when opening the App though. It would be a five star otherwise.

App works as expected. I originally posted a 1 star review after a He app continually had me log in and wouldn’t allow me to do anything but after letting it be for about 8 hours I came back and tried it again and the app works as expected so I’m giving it 4 stars. Might have just been on my end or a glitch with my phone.

Great phone service. I have been a customer since the 1990’s. I have had very good service and several phones over the years. I highly recommend their plans that fit anyone needs.

Lovin’ it!. I love the idea that I can add data at my convenience. Use it as slow or as fast as I like and pay only as needed! Of course the same apples to minutes and texts. Not paying a crazy amount and not using half of it! Bonus is that we can bring our smart phone! Yay

I love my Tracfone!. For only $100 a year I have a great phone with all the minutes I need. And they roll over every year. I’ve been with Tracfone for nearly 20 years and could not be happier. My friends pay $100 a month for their regular service plans, while I pay it once a year. I’ve turned other friends on to Tracfone and they love it too!

Long time customer with new problem. We went on vacation to the USVI and I could neither make nor receive calls with the iPhone I bought from Tracfone three years ago. It was a major inconvenience. Once we were back at the airport in Boston, fortunately I was able to contact Uber for a ride.

Great mobile provider. Tracphone gives me the flexibility I need to pay for what I need at a low price. The rewards are great too, I just saved enough points to get a year free, if I need more mins, text, or data I can just get an add on!

It’s better than last time!. The experience gets smoother with each new improvement in your software. Glad I stuck it out for the happy ending!!

Quick support APP working again. So, I updated this review back to 4 stars. The developers did get back to me to offer support. I am pretty impressed Tracfone, good job. I ended up restarting my phone, then the APP opened correctly. I was initially having difficulties with the login feature, but is working again. Thanks TF!

The best phone for travelers!. I travel a lot between the US and Europe. I just purchase a 1 year card and use my triple minutes. There isn't a better way and I have tried. I love the way my minutes and data carry over also there are a lot of great codes on the internet!

Ease of use. Have enjoyed the ease of my phone and the app. It’s nice to have things work for me so I don’t have to remember to keep things updated. Is there a way to get a notification when I only have 100 talk minutes left so I don’t have to remember to check that too? Thanks

Gotten better. When I initially got this app I was an on again /off again thing. But now it’s getting a lot more stable and I can count on it to work ( I’ll say 90% of the time now) I think with a few more bug fixes this app will be as good as just texting to add airtime . Keep up the good work . You’ve come a long way ....

Example pay as you go I believe I was told I can use that for my iPhone and the data would just accumulate on top of what I already have is a balance but it leads me to believe when you look at the actual purchase that I’m buying like a a card of timeNot my full balance

What happened to this app?. I’ve used the Tracfone app for quite awhile now and it always worked fine. Suddenly it stopped working and wouldn’t let me log into my account. I tried multiple times to log in and got error messages saying the app was unable to connect to the server at this time. This happens every time I try to log in for the last few weeks. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but keep getting the same message. This app is awful. What happened Tracfone? You need to address this.

Great App. I tried to pay my bill by phone, by direct access to web site but failed both ways for some reason or another. The app guided me painlessly through the process. Super design. Great app! Love it!

Absolute the Best in Debit Cell Phones. TracFone operates as seamless as the higher priced phone plans and if you keep your conversations on the shorter side and your data usage to a minimum or use WiFi, then TracFone is by far the most economical of all!!

Tracfone Account App Won’t Accept Logins.. I deleted this app a year ago because it won’t let me log in using either typed password or thumbprint, no matter what I do: I reinstalled today in hopes of being able to use it again (as its last update was around 3 months ago), but same issue remains. I guess I’ll just have to keep using the website shortcut I saved to my iPhone shortcuts instead — it's a shame when a slow website link has more functionality than a service’s app.

Just a suggestion. I have two cell phones, this one I use. I have wondered why I cannot have both of them with the same tracfone access to see what is left insead of trying to keep two passwords that I forget. I tried to use my thumb and it did mot work either.

Ummm...... I am using Tracfone for myself and my parental unit used his/her email to get my my service. Only problem is, my phone didn’t come with a security pin, so we had to call for help and yes it takes FOREVER. It took almost 45 minutes just to get to the correct department and they fixed everything in 5 minutes. Trouble is, the app needs a security pin to get into your account, and I don’t have it. So how can I get into my account? I can’t. That’s the problem.

Down for maintenance. I have had this app for months. It has worked very well since I loaded it on my phone. Now I keep getting a page that says it is down for maintenance. This has been going on for two weeks. How long does this take????? I have to say, this is really inconvenient. No one from tracfone has bothered to contact their customers about this issue.

My trac. Great app and service! I have been a customer for many years and service has just been getting better. It is so easy to register new phones and switch between them in your account or my devices. I do not use my cell phoneLike many people do so track phone service is perfect for me. I love it.

DBest!. Try to find a more economical plan! Duh….. you can’t! Forget all the noise on low rates and ask them if you can skip a Month’s payment! Duh…. No you can’t! Been skipping months for so many years that I lose track!

Disappearing option. Until this latest account version, a customer could add 1000 texts, under “service add-ons”. Now, there is no such option , as there is not a “service add-ons” tab. If only extra texts are wanted, the customer must add via their website. I’ve been contemplating changing to Consumer Cellular, and this pretty much gives me the final bit of motivation. When my service date comes nearer, couple months, I’ll be switching. Sure, no carry-over, but unlimited texts and competitively priced.

Perfect plan. I have a pay as you go plan and adding talk, data, and text are a breeze. The amount of time I need varies and because you can buy whatever you need at any given time, trac phone makes it easy. No contract, which I love. Try it!

The worst company ever!!!. Every time I have an issue and call it’s an all day issue because they all tell me something different!! still shows wrong time of info update. Well, once again I installed the newest update, and again I deleted it and reinstalled the old standby version 3.53. TracFone had the "balance as of (time)" working no matter what time zone I was in. Somewhere along the updates that got broken and it still shows a 3 hour difference from my time zone - if I request the balance at 10:00 am my time, TracFone app shows the balance update at 1:00 pm. Come on TracFone, get it right (again).

Terrific. This app is great! We’re able to track how many minutes, text messages, and data left on your plan. And when it’s hard to find a card to add on things, you can just do it on the app. Very easy to work with and is very convenient.

No plan title displayed…. Once I’m signed in on the app, why am I not able to see the plan I Amon at the Dashboard I understand I can touch my specific account for my device and see that I am enrolled, but I want to see the title of the plan I am enrolled in. Even when I touch the account I wish to view I still cannot view which plan I am on. This is not right! I should be able to see the plan I have purchased.

App is retarded, literally.. App is retarded to the point it claims my device is inactive even though the website shows I’m on autopay with thousands of minutes, texts, and a couple gigs of data. It shows a third unrelated device on my account claiming to be inactive. Must be how they’ve refused to give my data with my autopay; I have screenshots of evidence. If TracFone won’t fix it, at least give me a job so I can get paid to deliberately screw over people and pay the hatred forward.

Not Able To Get Info. When clicking on seeing how many minutes I have, it never comes up. Always says try later. You have to text to find out your totals. Why use the app at all, then? Also, there should be notification when you are getting low on any time. Please update your app.

Buying data is easy.. I love it that I can easily buy data on the TracFone app. My only wish is that I could have unlimited data in an annual plan and that data would not be used up when I’ve forgotten to disable it but am not using it.

App failed to load with new update. Pls help rectify. Followed up with live chat agent. Not only did she not help but made matters worse by resetting my password without first trying to understand my problem. Seem like with new app or server update, I am not able to access my account overseas even thru the website. It’s a bummer as I still had lots of unused minutes and was trying to revive my line. Previously it was working but now it Seems like Tracfone is not interested in sustaining traveling customer trying to keep line alive.
