Shrinkness perfected!. I was looking for an app to shrink photos in order to transfer to a cloud service directly from my phone. PhotoShrinker is the perfect app to assist in reducing file size and save data while transferring photo files! Way to go Photo Shrinker!

Great shrink app. This is by far the best shrink app that I have ever used. It is easy and fast to use. I have shrunk over 200 photos so far and sent them via text or email and the shrinking process keeps all the detail/quality of my photos intact.

One of my top 5 apps. I put this app at the top of my home screen because I use it all the time. I hardly ever need a 3MB picture file, and they clog up my storage in no time. This app is an easy way to shrink and free up space.

Don't buy the paid version!. The free version works well enough, if you don't mind limited selection and annoying ads. Because I had thousands of photos to resize, the app convinced me to shell out three dollars for the ability to resize up to 1000 photos at once. However, it crashes literally every single time when I try to resize large number of photos. Every time. Waste of three dollars, and a well-deserved one star rating.

How shrink old photos only big in iCloud?. App has been great for years, but very old photos eventually reside as large files only in iCloud and PhotoShrinker shows zero file size. I know if you start to edit a photo it transfers to phone memory so it can then be shrunk, but this is time consuming. Question – what is a faster workaround?

Excellent- worked great at 1st, Now crashes. I wouldn't expect a lot from Support since the last update was in 2015. That's unfortunate since other apps like this don't work as smoothly. It crashes when I try to shrink so I am uninstalling and reinstalling it to see if that helps. Someone wondered if you can unshrink- the answer is no. I'm using it to shrink things that don't matter so much like pictures I've taken to post with a review, remind myself of what I need, text that's huge because of white space, no Images I've sent to someone but I need to hang onto for just a little while, etc. I do a lot of photo editing and I think I'll test the difference between a compressed image and uncompressed… If this stops crashing and I can do that. This is great for freeing up space, especially when I find out some of the huge photos are the ones that are just reminders or something like that.

This app is wonderful!!!. I used to always run out of space at the list inopportune times. Now I can shrink my photos in order to save space, instead of deciding which ones to delete.

Best App Ever!. I've been searching for what seems like forever trying to find an app that would free up space on my phone without costing lots of $$. This app allows you to quickly save space. I'd recommend this to anyone who's running out of storage on their device. 👍🏾👍🏾

Makes you rate after 1st use. I'm testing it. But so far after first initial use, it makes you rate or share... which is annoying since it has ads to generate its revenue. But again I'll see how good it is and will update. But off of service wise alone I'm not rating it 5 stars. That's such an annoying scheme to get customers.

Need to update. Does not work with the last Apple IOS upgrade

Worst app of all time. The app no longer does what it's suppose to. It's takes forever and then it crashes after the update

Unable to contact developer. App hijacked and shrank all of my photos. App now crashes when opened.

Good. The app does a good job but the photos are put back into the camera roll in a different order. I have to shrink different groups of photos one at a time to keep the groups together.

Very Nice App and the best there. i tried a lot of apps and this was the best because much easier to use, not faced any bug yet. maybe there is but mine working fine and sure i recommend it to any one want to free his mobile memory by resizing images (dont forget to backup original on PC :p )

Excellent App!!. My photos were taking up a lot of the storage on my phone. This app allows me to keep all of my photos with the same quality, but shrink each ones size so I have more free space on my phone. Fantastic app!

WOW!!. ...THIS REALLY WORKED!! I'm on an (I-PAD Mini 2)16gb.] I just bought it too & I already ran out of room, so I tried this app to shrink my photos to see if that would help and it did! So I would recommend this app again & again!

Just What I needed!. If you take photos with your iPhone and we all do, you need this app. I'm a realtor and usually take pictures of homes with my iPhone to use for initial listing. This app will reduce a 3.5mb photo to .5mb! A size much more manageable when sharing through an email or other social media . Best app I have.

Finally!. I normally don't write reviews to get something for free. I made an exception because I've been looking for an app that does everything I have been looking for to pics to free up storage. I've tried so many apps that claim shrinking the size of the file wouldn't change the pic clarity. All lies till now... I shrunk a few and sent them in an email to myself to test, and wow, the shrunk pics look the same as before. Finally...!!! Writing this review gets me unlimited # of shrinks. I am impressed!

Did work. It worked perfectly...5 stars...until the last update. Now it crashes sometimes and leaves me with duplicates I have to sort out. About to try something else as this is getting very frustrating.

Good. I have to write this to shrink more photos, but it is a good app in order to save space in your storage. I don't like that I have to give a rating to access more photos, but it's better than paying for it.

Worst update ever!!. I've had this for awhile and I loved. It's very straight forward and easy to use. Ever since it's last update, I can't use the app because I have to share it on Facebook. This is a problem because I don't have Facebook and am not planning on making an account just for this app. This is a huge issue for people who don't have Facebook and it needs to be fixed!

Works Well. Just click on this app and it auto shows you which pics need shrinking. You select all or just the ones you want. It's fast. To free up storage go back to photos and delete the original pics before shrinking. The smaller versions you can keep or upload/mail. I would have rated 5 stars if it didn't force users to rate it after 50 shrinks. App does not work unless you rate it then. Makes me feel like I am being forced before I want to.

Doesn’t work. It worked for a few photos but then stopped working, says photos are shrunk when they’re not. Tried to delete and download again, still doesn’t work. Waste of money.

Good app. Pros: lets you shrink photos, and delete the original full size photos afterward. Cons: only lets you shrink 50 at a time

Best thing for 15GB iPhone. This app works like a charm. I was constantly banging into my phones storage limit. Since I've been using this app, I never get the alert.

It ok. The app is a good idea but it freezes and shuts down if I try to shrink more than 100 images.

Awesome app. This app works great because it saves a lot of space in just a matter of seconds! I didn't have to delete any photos or apps, just by shrinking the photos a bit, I made space for more photos or more apps.

Very limited ransom-ware, but easy to use. Pretty good except: 1) It doesn't let you control image quality settings, dimensions of the resulting image, etc. 2) It is ransome-ware, which is just unclassy. The software forces you to rate it 5 stars to continue to use it.

Won’t let me shrink certain pictures.. Requesting a refund. I had a few specific photos I needed to compress, and thought that perhaps a paid app would work (since free apps were having issues). Paid three bucks. This one allowed me to compress even fewer than any of the others. A total ripoff. Don’t buy.

Good app!. Though I haven't had this for very long, it works fairly well. I have only noticed one small bug (which is why I have 4 stars), which was the first time I tried compressing photos it shut out. However, I opened it and tried again and it's been working fine since! I'm glad to have the extra space, and this app is helpful!

Too pushy. The insistence of needing to give five stars to keep using it makes me want to give it one star. Haven't used it enough to tell, otherwise. It messed up the order of the photos I did put through.

Has slight bug.. Well, I had in my first iPhone and it worked perfectly. But wasn't saved to iCloud and I got a new phone. Since I've re downloaded it I cannot shrink more than 2-4 photos at a time. It will say my photos are shrinking then flash out to the home screen of my iPhone. However it is efficient to the task of saving memory.

Just what I needed, I thought!!. Horrible support! I hope you never need help with this app!!!! ***Update:Here it is two weeks later, and Ive contacted support 3 times now to try and get the issue resolved however all of my requests have not been responded to and the issue has never been fixed. I hope they don't do this to customer who pay for their app! Now I will just have to find a different app that has better support if and when I need it!! Didn't realize that cropping my photos took up so much space. I'm glad This app was recommended so I can free up some storage. After trying this app I'm having a problem with the app crashing when clicking on "shrink photos". The app crashes and takes me back to my home screen every time. I just reported this to support and depending on whether I get a response back and if the issue is resolved or not will determine if I pay and upgrade or not. Update: Here it is two weeks later, and Ive contacted support 3 times now to try and get the issue resolved however all of my requests have not been responded to and the issue has never been fixed. Very useful tool. I like how you're able to shrink photos using this app, clearing up space without having delete too many photos. I do wish there was a way to view the image up close before shrinking, or view them as an album I created so I can be sure I am shrinking the desired set together. I am nervous about what the previous reviewer said--about having to share somewhere in order to shrink. I hope it doesn't happen each time from now on!

Photo Shrinkage. It has been a while since searching for a good app that shrinks photos and free up some space on my iPhone plus don't make the quality bad, finally I found this app which is useful.

Awesome photo shrinking app!. This app makes a huge difference! I use my cell camera on our trips and always run out of storage. I found this app right before our Italy trip. It's awesome! Shrinks the size of my photos to a 10% of the original size. I do no ever plan on making poster sizes of my photos. All I need are 4x6 sized or maybe 8x10 tops so the reduction in size is perfect. Posting on websites is super high quality. I do like the fact it doesn't permanently delete (originals go in Deleted but you need to manually remove them to free up the storage) the pics in case you accidentally got rid of something or decide to keep the larger version. Plus it's free! The ads are at the bottom so not annoying. Love it!!

Keep Originals. It needs an option to keep the original photo. The only way to do it is to disallow the app permission to delete photos when it tries, and then force close the app, so you can use it again later. Poor design. Why would you always want to delete the original? A common reason to resize photos would be to email them, or post them on a forum, but you would still want you original on your device. But this app doesn't give you that option, without hacking it as I described above. If that option existed within the app, it would have been a much better solution. Also needs an option on how much (size, percentage, etc.) that you want to reduce the originals by.

Great app for work reports. I have use this app on my iPad and iPhone to shrink photos before putting them into Excell it shrinks the photo small enough there's no trouble emailing definitely recommend for anyone that has to include photos in their reports

The best I could find. There are a lot of apps out there to modify the size, but not many to just change resolution make the picture lighter in terms of MBs. The application also deletes the older heavy picture, which eliminates duplicates.

Proof is in the seeing..... I'd give it 5 stars but until I see WHERE my pics have gone I can't. Hundreds of pics have been shrunk & gobs of space has been freed up. After last iPad update my computer won't recognize my iPhone etc so I can't sync or download. This is the answer! Hopefully after this step I will be able to get back into the pics that have been shrunk.

Storage needed. I just have started this program after reading the reviews I decided to try with my oldest photos since I do have them saved elsewhere. I hope it works!

Very shrinky. App works well for me but be warned that you will be forced to write a review in order to keep using it after your first 200 photos. I am annoyed by that but I guess I like the app well enough to go ahead and write my first ever review, rather than deal with finding another solution to apple's default photo resolution.

Great App, but here's a tip..... This App is convenient & easy to use. I always read all the reviews for every App I use. Here's my tip for this App: As wonderful as this App is, one should NEVER rely on only 1 place to back up their pics, & ALWAYS use 2-3 different places to store your valuable images. I back up first to my laptop (not using iTunes), then to an external USB Hard Drive, and if they're very important pics, then also to a thumb drive. It's cheap, takes a few extra minutes, and you will never suffer the heartache of losing pictures that mean a lot to you.

Buggy photo shrinking app. This app did work, and it nicely displays the current file size of each photo... But it is the first buggy app I have downloaded in three years of happy iPad ownership. Locked it up, even the on/off switch wouldn't work. When you photo shrink a pic it also moves it to the most recent pic in your camera roll. Pics can not be sorted or repositioned in the camera roll only inside albums.

Crashes constantly and leaves duplicates behind!. It worked for the first few photos I tried and after that would crash constantly. Worse is that I now have all these duplicated files that I will need to go through and delete manually.

Good. I have a 16gb iPhone so this has helped free up some storage. Would like to see video shrinking too.

Did what I wanted. Just a tip, if you want to keep the original, make a copy and compress the copy. It will delete as soon as it compresses.

Not great. There are no settings to lessen very harsh compression, which doesn't 'leave the images looking exactly the same' as it claims. Also, it forces you to delete the original image so you 'don't have duplicates!' As the App helpfully tells you in the warning dialogue. Due to this, you must duplicate the image first unless you want to be left with the App's awfully compressed image.

The very best app if you like to hang on to your memories. I just got this App it is sooo good download it for yourself and don't forget if you love it give it a five star Thank you!

Works but far too simple. This is great at making small photos and thankfully does keep the location and time data! However the compression is far too severe for some photos and there is absolutely no options for this. Provide this as well as a compressed photo preview (with zoom) and this will be a top 5 stars app that I would pay for.

Best app in its category!. I tried several app (not free) and no one is simple yet effective as this. If you run out of space and don't want to delete any pics do yourself a favour and download this app.

I can make low-res JPEGs without an app. Yes this app does its job: shrink photos. The quality of the image it shrunk a panorama to was piss poor. I could have done the job myself in MS Paint if that was what I was after. I don't know what the 2nd star is for; I just feel bad about giving single stars and I've never given one. Really doesn't deserve the 2nd from that experience.

Easy to use. I routinely use this app to shrink photos that I download from the web. It reduces file size to about 10 per cent of the original, which is usually what I am aiming for. It would be nice if the app worked in landscape format, but it's no big deal to turn my tablet to portrait position.

Works well but.... It takes me out of the app if I try to shrink more than 15 pictures at a time which is why I gave it 4 stars. Also you have to write a review for every 200 photographs. Besides that it is useful, simple, and free.

Nice but Crashes. I got to shrink a few photos with this app, and it worked very well. However, now when I try to select any number of photos (1-all, doesn't matter), the app crashes. Tried reinstall but the app is useless for me without its core functionality working.

Ok. This app has turned over a whole new leaf in photo compression technological warfare! My small militia has taken over 3,000 hectare in the last 3 days with the assistance of these compressed photos.

Nice App. Just started using it so I don't have much information as to how it works, but it seems to be a great app to free up space in my phone.

CRASHES. Wether I shrink 1 or a 100 it crashes every time. It's been doing this for a few months. I've redownloaded it and still the same. Creators needs to fix this!!!!!

Life Saver!. This app just prevented me from being homeless! Had to get my lease renewal sent in asap and the file shrinking made it possible to get the paperwork emailed in. Phew!!

A little tough to work with but good to free up space. Love freeing space. A little tough since you can only sharing 100 photos at first. I'll keep using it tho because I take so many iPad pix.

Perfect for shrinking photos to email!. Emailing photos from my iPhone 6 Plus for Craigslist ads takes forever cuz the images are too big. But THIS APP fixes that! So easy to use too!

Gets the job done. Straight forward, does what I need it to do...shrinks pics from multiple megabytes down to a couple hundred kilobytes.

Works like it says it should. Good app and does a good job. It would be nice if the new compressed photos where stored by the original date they were taken however.

Not practical.. Could not find a way to search for photos in albums. This makes this app almost unusable. The more photos you have in the camera roll, the harder it is to locate a photo you want to reduce.
