Mediocre resolution, expensive IAPs. Even if you get this app for "free", the IAPs to buy the extra effects will make this a very expensive app. Add to that the mediocre output resolution (4096 x ___ at 11mp) and it is just not worth it.

Awesome App!. Can really Jazz up the iPhone photos with this App.

How do you SAVE anything you've done???. UPDATE: Issue has been resolved! Changed to 4 stars becuz I haven't really used the app except for the frame set I purchased. Will consider upgrading to pro version because I *love* the frames & have already used the standard & (upgrade) Deluxe set several times. Now that I can apply the frame I've chosen & save to camera roll, I'm game to see what else the app will do! ************ I've had the app for quite a while but have a couple others I love & use with almost every photo so really hadn't explored this one at all. This evening I was opening & checking all the photo editing apps I've downloaded to see what to cull from the herd. Had been working on a pic in another app & wasn't really excited about any of the frame/borders in anything I usually use have to offer. Saw these really awesome frames in the ACDCee app and 2 or 3 were perfect for what I wanted! Had to pay to get the Deluxe set of frames ($0.99) I really loved, paid, applied it to my photo... And after clicking on EVERYTHING visible, some more than once, I see NO option to save the framed pic to Photos or anywhere else!!! Are you freaking kidding me??? I've now sunk almost $3 bucks into this app and - basically - it is USELESS if I can't save my work SOMEWHERE! There is NO way I'll consider dumping another $5 bucks into this proposition when I can find nothing anywhere that resembles a BASIC tutorial/user manual/something when BASIC functions are hidden like some freaking mystery of the oracles! May be a fantastic app. How the hell can I tell??? I'd have given no star at all if that was possible. Will probably delete the app to save myself future frustration! That frame was PERFECT for my photo but that is totally IRRELEVANT! Probably lost a customer forever here unless I can figure out how to get my pic out of your freaking app you sadistic miscreants! Note: screen shot with frame > crop & save in other edit app = I shall not be denied!

Very deceiving. It tells you that you can use the stickers in the description but when you are gonna apply the stickers is asking you to pay for them. Very deceiving. Stand up behind your product and provide what you advertise.

One of the best pictures viewer. I use it for several years already on my PC and I very glad to see it on my iPad now.

Great app from Great software. I got this app because for years I used their software. Maybe even before digital cameras were readily available. It started, at least for me, as the best software for organizing and viewing photos on my PC. And, oddly enough, it was touted in a review as the best photo viewing software for looking at porn. Yeah, I know, you never look at porn. But in the very early years of the internet there were Newsgroups. You connected using a modem and waited as you slowly downloaded any pictures that interested you (not necessarily erotica). To review and sort photos ACDSee was the best. For years! Ultimately that task became a subset of more robust photo editors, like Adobe Elements and others. ACDSee tried to keep up, but not that well. It did one thing well, and better than others. And it was cheap. Enter the iPhone and iPad. And apps. This is where ACDSee may no longer be needed, or the best at the original task, but excels as a photo editor. For reducing noise, enhancing skin tone, light balance and other functions, it is my goto app. Along with Photoshop Fix, it goes into the professional realm of photo editing. I think the denoise function may have been a small add on cost, but all well worth it. Updates are always free and usable on multiple devices. Highly recommended.

This is the worse app ever!! Don't get it!. Decided I was going to use something a bit more high-end to edit on my new iPhone 6s Plus.. So I paid the 1.99$ to get this app, tried to edit the image, and it won't let me export without upgrading to another 4.99$ app? And the non pro version is basically the same thing as apples iPhone editing software? So why did I just waste 1.99? Lame.. And don't bother buying there other more pro level crap for your real images- I am sure it's just as bad as this app.. Thanks ACDSEE! I'll stick with Adobe!

Stickers won't align properly after save. After I place my mustache sticker in a certain alignment and hit save he mustache is not in the right place degree-wise. After paying for a sticker pack I deserve to have it working properly. Also this app needs more undo and redo buttons after I hit apply because I don't want to start from the image before I edited it if I hit cancel. Fix It!!!

Can't even install it. Since it requires ios 8.1?? Ridiculous!

Needs improvement :). Hey guys, this is a really neat app. A lot of things integrated into one app. I love the feature how to control the focus lens. Vintage, etc little tools. Of course I don't have the pro but it's up to me! Well the cons of this when I comes to recording, it needs a lot of fixing for stabilization especially on the iPhone 6. Also what would be cool is slow mo feature ! Well that's all I could think of. Thanks again and please fix the stabilizer!

Fast Track To Great Photo's. Love using this app - So simple and has a wonderful variety of effects !

Not good. This program is worthless unless you spend $5-$6 or more on add-ins! There are better programs that do a lot more for a lot less $$.

It’s great. I make collages of my grandson to sent 3 or 4 or 5 pictures as 1. Terrific.

Interesting app but.... Unless I'm missing something, there's no way to work on a duplicate or save the original.

Do not update. The latest version has changed many items to paid versions. Sadly making it unusable for me as I have no intention of paying 4.99 for this.

Not bad. I purchase this app few months i was able to download and install and invest on some of the add i have to replace my iPhone due it a accident i try to get back the program but is impossible. To download the maximum i get us a 35 % and keep for 3 day i try to get a support is a nightmare if ypu buy do not delete if you loss o something happen to you fone god luck tp get back this application

No edit. Can't move photos where you want...glad I didn't pay and if I have to pay to move pics around...forget it

Too expensive. All function are normal. But if you want use the effect, have to paid. All package is nearly $20. Are these worth to pay? I don't think so. Effects are not extraordinary but normal. In other app, you could use same effect within just $5 or for free. It is crazy idea to pay $20 for using this app. ACDSee was famous program in PC area, but in mobile environment they have wrong concept, may be.

InApp purchases galore.. Got the app for free. Looks decent from first glance but has so many inApp purchases for pro type tools. Another money pit app with a low initial price quite possibly.

Did not record audio on video. I went to record my fifth-grader choir performance. Gave it a try. Looked fantastic. When I went to play back the day after there was No AUdio. Totally missed the audio in the choir performance. Went back to try to look at the option to see if that was an audio button I didn't press or something and couldn't find anything. It totally ruined my recording. Too bad I can't give it a ZERO STAR.

My favorite photo editing app!. I own the pro version and I love it! This app, with some learning curve, brings out the best potential in photos, even the darkest photos can be revived!! I love it! The only reason I gave it 4 stars, because the frames options are childish and cartoonish, for such an app, it should have a better selection. Also it lacks adding text - which will make it an app that covers all editing aspects- at least from my experience and needs. (I have been trying and have many photo editing apps installed, and this one and SnapSeed are my top 2)

Switch and bate. The basic app has no real use. You can find more and better editing functions and options in many other photo editing apps, You have to part with $4.99 before there is any really useful editing options. In addition the way the option editing interface is not well thought out - The UI (user interface) needs a big over hall - not impressed that the basic app has no real use and you have to spend so much just to get anything of use - pass - move along - nothing to see here

Very useful app for photo enthusiasts. I have been using ACDSee on PC for years. I was glad that this is available on iPhone. Lots of controls and features to allow you more flexibility in editing pics compared to other photo apps. I also love the additional camera settings it offers while on camera mode. 5 stars for me.

SWEET!. I have used all kinds of photo editing software for the iPhone, but this is by far the best. Quick to learn and professional results.

Does not do what I wanted. I wanted a program that would access pictures on a usb drive and start a slideshow. Does neither.

Finally!. I've been using ACDSee on my PC for many years and many versions, and despite trying many other programs, ACDSee is the one I always return to. I was very excited to see that there is finally an iPhone version! The iPhone version is great. My only complaint is the in app purchases are not a good value. I purchased the pro pack and foolishly assumed that would include the premium frames, etc. but it did not. They charge $1.99 for each premium package of frames, stickers, etc., and you do NOT get many for each $1.99 purchase.

Crashes. The app crashes every time I use flash bracketing

This Version Works. I reviewed this app a few versions ago, and it was a disappointment. However the latest version works great, huge improvement. Give it a try.

My Favorite!. This is by far my favorite photo app! It works great and has all necessary features.

Okay, But Without In-App Purchase Pretty Worthless. Without the additional $5.00 in-app purchase, there's not much point to this app. They should have made that more clear. Additionally, instead of making a new copy of any edited photo, this app changes your original, and then keeps the data in its own app so you can go back later to change it, but that has to be a huge memory and data hog on your phone. Lots of potential here, but not yet ready for prime time.

Moderately useful. I use ACDSee Pro for some of my editing on my desktop computer, so I jumped at the chance to get a version for my iPad. I guess I should have looked at it more closely before purchasing it. To use any of the "Pro" tools you have to upgrade, for an extra cost, your version. There are many other photo editing programs for less money that do more. I will just continues to use Snapseed for editing my photographs. Now I see for a limited time only they have offered this APP for free, but that just means you still have to upgrade to use the "Pro" tools. I am deleting this one from both my phone and iPad.

Amazing on iPad!. This is an amazing photo app on the iPad and the larger 6 screens. It allows you to scan thumbnails of your photo collections while doing the editing, instead of opening every picture separately. There are amazing fixes to correct white washing effect and hazy photos. It brings out color you select to make your pics more vivid! The version without the in app purchases is amazing useful.

Noise. The app makes sounds , I could not figure out how to remove . These noises disturb and make the indiscreet use.

Perfect!. This is perfect for a novice like myself who doesn't need anything more than basic photo editing. With the addition of the video recorder, this is now a top app.

Great photo editing app. I have been using ACDSee on my desktop for over 12 months and love it. I was delighted to see an ipad app had been developed. I will definitely be upgrading to pro.

Not quite right. Whilst I enjoy using ACDSee on my iPad, main function missing is "Text". This is an important facility for future reference, and I can't believe it is missing from your editing choices.

Would be good, but.... Says it is free for the weekend but you have to IAP $6.49 to apply half of the filters

Where's photo manager??. This app heavily focused on photo taking and editing, which it does a great job. Do not expect this app to be your primary photo manager/viewer. If ACDsee can implement photo manager functionality, database, caching, tagging, it would be perfect.

Powerful with issues. Yes it does a lot and can do a lot of things with my photos. Nice options easy to use. It crashes a lot, and I mean a lot, hopefully they will fix these issues. Purchase the pro version thinking you get the lot but you need to pay a lot more for the extra stuff. The extra stuff should be part of the pro version. Adding text or drawing lines would be a plus. I would give it two more stars if they change the way with the pro version by adding the extras to it as well.

Excellent features. I wish there was an option to allow you to save a copy of the original. You could export your changes, which will preserve the original, but it's not as intuitive as providing the option to always save a copy. That said, the editing features are plentiful and powerful. I use Adobe products most of the time, and Snapseed, but every now and then I need a feature that's only available here.

Perfect. Very easy to use. And powerful

Very well done & keeps improving!. This one's getting quickly my favorite photo app for both - taking & browsing pictures. The browsing feature alone is amazing! And it's not even mentioned in the app's description. It includes full exif details, histogram (rgb & luminosity) with blown highlights. Plus one can mange pictures from that browser, incl. albums creating & deleting. I don't use the native "Photos" anymore, as there's no any info about the shot available there. If they added picture size selection & ability to start in "camera" mode it would be absolutely perfect.

A great photo and editing app. Used this app for the first time yesterday. Works great. Better than expected. There are many, many controls in the camera that I have not explored yet. The user interface is complicated, but after some use it becomes natural. Many features and effect crammed into the image editor.

Acdsee. This program does not work on my iphone6 plus.Waste of my money.

Disappointing. I have used ACDSee on my desktop for years. This version does not let you clone areas nor remove blemishes. You cannot edit parts of an image. Not worth the money and inferior com to some free apps.

They are not honest.. I have used their desktop software for many years and it's at the point of just being so so. This iOs version was free before 2-14-15 but they are running a fake special and claiming free only two days, 2-14-15 and 2-15-15 which is not true. It's the same everyday deal which is nothing for free useful unless you buy in App stuff.
