Worthwhile investment. I upgraded all of our light/fan switches to Lutron’s Casta Wireless and absolutely love the full control we have over every room in the house from our cell phones or by Voice (with Alexa). We’ll be upgrading my wife’s parents’ house next.

PD-6WCL-WH Dimming. Can a feature be added to support disabling the dimming within the software of the light switch for houses that don’t have neutral wire. This would allow the light switch to function as either 100% on or 0% off. The other switches aren’t compatible with houses without neutral so can only use the dimmer switches.

Needs improvement. Pairing took forever (why isn’t it wireless? Keeping it plugged into the router seems ancient). Press button until it flashes quickly. Took about 8 cycles of plugging and I plugging, electrician even removed and reinstalled switch multiple times before it actually worked. Programming interface could be a lot more straight forward with on and off times

Good App -but would like this feature:. I have Casetas throughout my house with 18 schedules set up in the Lutron App. These schedules are listed by time order which is not user friendly. Would like to have ability to sort the schedules by Event Name so that my EventX ON schedule is followed by my EventX OFF schedule. Grouping/sorting this way (device/event name) would be very helpful to confirm your on/off schedules and changes.

Amazing smart home system for lights and blinds!. I have accumulated about 40 switches and 5 blinds that have all easily been added to my system over the past 5 years…easy to install, great customer service and products work well. Also decided to install 4 main room light switches for my parents…system also works great with Alexa! Will be a lifetime owner!

Please support multiple homes with Amazon’s Alexa. This request has been out there for a number of years and given that other companies have figured out solutions, there must be someway to readjust skill so that I could support more than one home. People are still jumping through hoops, and if this was accomplished, it would make the system perfect

STILL NO TIMER FUNCTION!!!. This is the easiest thing in the world to do but yet it’s still not available. I mentioned this over a year ago no one listens. How easy it would be… The system can see when I switch turns on, the system can see when the switch gets turned off, so why can’t the system see a switch to turn on and have an automation that in five minutes it will turn it off? This function would be amazing for pantries, garage, laundry rooms, bathrooms, etc. you know, rooms where people frequently go in, turn on the light, and forget to turn them off! You would think that a switch that cost $50 or more would natively have the capability to have a timer but no, it doesn’t.

TIMER FEATURE PLEASE. Hey Lutron, could you guys add a simple timer option to your app so that when we tap on one of our Caseta controlled fans, besides turning it on or off and adjusting its speed, we could also SET A TIMER for it to turn off after the number of minutes we chose? Seems like a simple request that would be easy to accommodate and add tremendous value to your product.

Nice Reliable P. Reliability if home automation is one one the fleeing qualities for most manufacturers! There is nothing more frustrating than having something that works a lot of the time, not not all the time. It’s most frustrating! However, Lutron delivers one of the most reliable range of products available! The app still needs to grow as it’s sensors cannot be used in HomeKit conditional automations, but they do work well from the Lutron app. Even without HomeKit, the app cannot for an example have a sensor turn a light on full bright at certain times, and only 50% at other times. Unfortunately, it also seems that you can still only have one sensor per room, but hopefully that evolves in the future!

Huge performance regression in 22.4.5. I love the Lutron caseta light system and how it works seamlessly with apple homekit. But this new 22.4.5 version is super slow. Every time I open the app, the loading screen is taking forever saying it's connecting to my Lutron system. It was never this slow in previous versions. And when I open the apple's Home app, all the Lutron lights took forever to update, which also never happens before. It seems this version has a huge performance regression. Please fix.

Lutron = Platinum of smart devices. I had spent ton of time and finally wen talk in with cadets system. Spent quite a bit of $$$$. Every penny was worth it. These switches, dimmers and smart plug are the most reliable and effective. I haven’t seen anything works this well in smart ecosystem so far! Great job so far Lutron! Your customer support is top notch. The electrician I worked with was also impressed by the quality of the products. So win win for all! I could take out one start but I’ll give you a pass —- the app II and UX are sub par. It desperately need II tweaks.

“Where is the switch Timer Feature I’ve been asking for??”. I am a Master Electrician in VA and DC and am very pleased with all of the current integrations LUTRON offers and continue to add more devices to my system and continue to recommend this system to friends, family, and clients. I am amazed at the functionality and ease of use this system offers. As I’ve stated in previous reviews this app would be 5 stars easily if it included the switch timer feature. Is it ever going to happen? Come on get this done!!! The applications would be endless!!! Just imagine walking into your bathroom and turning on a two button Caseta switch controlling the exhaust fan and it is set to turn off after 1,2,3,4,5……..30,45, or 60 minutes and all you had to do is program it in the Caseta app. How about when your kids leave the lights on in their rooms and they are not in there anymore wouldn’t it be amazing if the timer feature could be used in conjunction with a room occupancy sensor. Like I said earlier the applications would be endless………….

Terrible app. I love their products most of the time everything works smoothly. But this app is just so glitchy and so bad. I have a business account set up so that I can just hand of the system to the homeowner and I dont have to use the home owners phone. When i go to a different job site than the last one i was it, i have to go in the app to switch systems only problem is the app does not even open. I have to turn my phone on and off just to get the app to open and if i accidentally close out pf the app or my phone screen turns off then i have to turn my phone off and on all over again. Honestly a terrible app filled with bugs and glitches never works properly ever

Absolutely Terrific. I have Lutron Caseta dimmers in my second home. I was so impressed with the ability to control the lighting, I replaced a GRAFIK Eye dimming system in my main home with Caseta’s. I can now program each home for exterior lights to come on at sunset and turn off at sun rise, plus vary the lighting in each home to make it look like somebody is home. Lutron’s customer support system, both email and by phone is the best I have ever experienced. I love this app.

New Auto off timer 4 hour max👎🏽. I love this app and I own about 30 devices. The new addition of an auto off timer is a fantastic idea but I have absolutely no clue why they would limit it to 4 hours max. It really makes no sense. Is there some kind of issue? Shouldn’t it be the owners choice. Please re-evaluate.

Tried them all.. Generations ahead of Wemo, Kasa, etc. Devices are always reachable. Each Pico remote can operate multiple Lutron switches and lamp dimmers. We have the remotes in wall plates and on Lutron pedestals for many lighting variations. For some reason, we just don’t like using voice commands through Alexa and “Hey Google,” although they work flawlessly that way. We even have Pico remotes with visor clips in the cars so we can control the lights as we leave or arrive home.

Caseta Dimmers /pico remotes. Lutron system is great!! So many options using the bridge pro Pico remotes can be programmed to control almost any light fixture/receptacle in your house (provided the are wired to a Lutron Caseta dimmer switch or a Caseta on/off only switch) or plug in modules You can set many time clocks per switch and have certain devices/ turn on/off or adjust the dimming levels as you like - also it has a random feature as well- with the app you can control your system from virtually anywhere you have Wi-Fi/ cell service Simple to use and setup The app walks you thru step by step

POWER USER. I have been using Lutron Caseta since 2018 in a few properties. Here’s what I like: - Devices are always reachable once programmed. There are no delays or lag - the app always works flawlessly - you can schedule lights based on duration until sunset or sunrise - pico remotes are a great addition allowing flexible configurations. - the product is affordable and looks sleek - outdoor smart plug products work very good I don’t have one negative feedback in all these years. There may be very minor stuff but I am not even going to bother talking about it! Great job developers and product team.

Meh. Works well but freezes literally EVERY TIME I open the app. I have to reopen and swipe out of the app at least three times for the page to even be responsive and it’s really annoying. Also can never find a balance between hot and cold with the fans because the temperature change between each setting is too drastic.

Take it from a pro.. Lutron is hands down the industry leader of LED lighting and lighting control tech. They also manufacture state of the art automated window treatments with a wide selection of materials and applications. The entire company top to bottom is amazing! If your electrician is using anything other than Lutron for lighting control they're subpar. Call someone who uses Lutron. Caseta is a wonderful entry level automation product. Sold at most major retailers. With the Caseta bridge it opens a door to a wide array of home integration capabilities. Along with lighting scenes and time clocks you can integrate climate control, shades and even Sonos audio using a Lutron Audio Pico Remote. I have one. It’s awesome! Great for the DIY guy. Though I do recommend calling a licensed pro cause electricity can kill you. ✌️😉

Awesome. This has been a simple solution for us. We never realized how much we would love this system! We have switches well over the max range that work flawlessly. I especially like being able to set the outdoor floods to turn on at sun down and off at sun up. When we leave for vacation we can set lights to turn on and off so it looks like we are up and around. Going on 3.5 years and no glitches so far. Great product.

Need more customizing. Would be nice to customize each device. See how long it’s been on set timers per device to turn off at a custom interval. Update I have 50 devices in my house for about 4 months now. So far they work great and are easy to install and integrate with Alexa. Only gave 4 stars due to I would like more features added. would also like to see the product line increase to include outlets. But if you looking for a good switch that’s easy to connect and setup and will control your lights these are awesome.

If Apple Watch troubles Update app. EDIT: their last update when installed fixed the issue :) I love the Lutron system, so reliable, besides this temporary Watch issue, never any issues. The Lutron app was working on my Apple Watch for half a year perfectly. Now for the past month I get this error “Please use the Lutron app on your phone to configure this home for your Zappel Watch.” So I go to the app and the Watch is already enabled under settings. There is nothing else to “configure “ besides turning the slider to on/off and which scenes/devices are enabled. To troubleshoot I go to the Apple Watch app, and remove Lutron as an app installed on the phone. Then I install Lutron back to the phone, and voila! It works again. But it only works one time. The next time I try to use Lutron app on the Watch, I get the same error again. I’ve been thru this cycle 4-5 times now. Please help fix the Watch app issue and I’m happy to turn this review back to 5 stars! I use the Watch app daily it’s more convenient than the phone app.

Can’t live without it.. Had RA2 Lutron light switches at other house and moved. Had Caseta switches put in and then bought the bridge myself. Went home, plugged it in and walked around and added switches to app. It worked perfectly and easily each time I added a switch. Now I’m back to being able to lights turn on, but most importantly - off, in my house from my phone. Love it.

The future of lighting has been around since the 60s. I truly enjoy the remote lighting control that Lutron Caseta system offers me in my house.. There were issues with compatibility when used in conjunction with certain LED retrofit lighting … i endured… Overall love the idea of controlling my lights with my IPad or phone …from anywhere! Lutron has created this for me.

Easy to install and easy to operate. The dimmer is easy to install and the pico remotes work great to replace 3 way switches (though tying off the wires can be a little tricky and counter-intuitive). The operation with Siri is also convenient - one command to turn off all lights shuts down the whole house.

Great App plus Feedback. I enjoy using this app. It works well and is effortless to setup and control new devices. Feedback: it would be nice if we have a feature that sends a push notification when the lights are still on after the customer has left the home using geofencing or whatever works. I have a similar feature on my garage door that notifies me when garage is open past x amount of time. Thanks for your great work!

Persistence lead to success. I have a few areas in my home using Lutron dimmable lighting wall mounted devices and found them easy to control with my iPhone 13 . Installation into my router did take some effort but once the Lutron app was operating it was easy to load the controls. You do need to have some basic understanding using routers. I do look forward to installing more devices. Time will tell how I will like the system. I have not looked at the video instructions but will in the future. Tried using my iPhone and worked well.

(No More) Ads after you spend a fortune on hardware.. Update: taking them at their word the ads will stay gone. With that, it’s just about perfect! … It was good. Even great. But I just had an ad pop up on this app that I use to control thousands of dollars worth of hardware that I purchased from Lutron. Now I have the problem with this that I have with so many “smart” devices: I’m held hostage to a specific app and whatever trash ads they want to put in my face. I paid lots of money for all this crap - I deserve to be left unmolested.

Works great now :-). Upgrade review after problem corrected. App has lots of features and enables us to control lighting on a large period replica home without having to upgrade to a complete home automation system which is not what we wanted. With over 60 dimmers and switches controlling exterior and interior common areas, this system will be a welcome change from manually operating so many lights!

Good app, could be better. Lutron/Caséta are expensive but top notch hardware. The app leaves a lot to be desired and has not substantially changed in a very long time. Missing some really basic functionality. 1) no way to set mirroring of one dimmer switch to another so wall switch handles it 2) no dimmer presets (example 25%/50%/75%/Fav%), despite plenty of room on app screen. BASIC functionality!

Best in class. Six months ago I purchased a Eufy system with a variety of indoor sensors and two pro cameras. Today I installed a solar panel for each camera. The system was so easy to install and has worked perfectly to date. Installing the solar units was a breeze and they are charging the batteries as advertised. Simple installation, easy to understand directions and flawless performance makes this security system the one to own.

Caseta switches are great. App User interface could be improved. I’ve been a long time user of the Caseta dimmer switches and think that they’re great. Very reliable and easy to install as they’re one of the only switches that don’t require a neutral wire. The little chiclet remotes are are a great way to control the lights, and I also make use of the geofencing in the app. The Sonos integration is a nice little touch too. The one thing that developers could do to improve the app would be to change the interface so that touching the appropriate icon would turn the light on or off, and a long hold or firm touch of the ‘button’ would bring up the slider for the dimming function. This is how Wink controls lights. As it is currently the app requires too many taps on the screen just to turn a light on or off- tap to expand the room list, tap the light to bring up the dimming slider, then tap or hold a button to dim or turn on and off. That’s overly involved. Also it was easy for me to name and control lights with Alexa when doing so through Wink. Not so much with the Lutron app. Users should be given more ability to control naming of lights, and use of icons rather than the somewhat rigid and limited selection within the app.

Amazing way to fill a smart house with light!. I've been using the Lutron Caseta for about 2 years now. I certainly prefer these over a Philips hue when there's a bank of lights to be controlled together. When you don't need individual control and smarts per bulb, this equates to a lot more savings. The app itself is simple enough to control everything, but I mostly use Alexa to command them. It would be nice if there was energy monitoring to go along, even if it was basic enough to track standby (off) vs on with estimated wattage consumption.

It just works great!!!. First purchase with Lutron light switch and remote control and OMG!!! It’s SO EASY to install and setup everything! Device pairing instructions were simple and easy to follow. I’ve used GE’s Cync before and it was a nightmare…the light would disconnect all the time and the mobile app would lose my login. Definitely will be back to shop for more Lutron solutions! Keep up the great work, Lutron!

Improvement!. Replacing former Insteon lighting in our home after without notice the just no longer support or have product available. The new Lutron Casetta line is easy to set up and gradually I’ll be replacing some 19 devices. I think Lutron will be around for the duration.

Highly recommend the Caseta System. I’m very happy with the new CasetaSwitches and the ability to add a additional smart bridge on my same property at my Pool house which is over 100 feet from my homeThat my original SmartBridge had trouble connecting to the devices at the pool house now everything works perfectly. I am a electrician and used to use the X 10 switches which had issues in high end residential areas where the neighbors also had the X 10 and if they programmed there a setting on the X 10 which happened many of times The neighbor and my client were both controlling the light at my clients house. So anyways I’m very happy that the upgraded to a better system which is the Caseta .👍 This system could also be linked to other systems like Ring so if your ring camera senses someone in your backyard or wherever you can program it to turn on any device that you have a Caseta installed

Best Smart Lights for Smartthings!. I was looking for a smart switch brand to work with my Samsung ecosystem controlled by Smartthings. Now I can control my lights and other devices using just one app. I plan to install them in all frequently use areas. Can't go wrong with Lutron!

Buggy problems with Apple updates. I loved the Caseta switches I installed and they worked great for a year. NOW, every time Apple releases a new software update, my Lutron app stops working. The second time it happened I contacted Lutron and they walked me through resetting everything but it didn’t resolve the issue. Surprisingly, the next day I had a fresh Lutron update that fix it. Now for the 4th time this year, my app doesn’t work with Apple HomeKit. The widgets I set won’t control the lights; and this time it has lost the integration completely. Super frustrating. Just fix it already !

Great UI but a couple functional tweaks for a 5. Love the app, but there’s some functionality left to be wanting. For example, and hopefully an easy one, you can go to devices and turn all lights Off, but it would be great if you could go to that same screen and do a mass adjustment to the dimming level of all the lights that are on. This comes up a lot for me. The second and probably harder, is being able to control the top and bottom end trims from the app instead of the switch itself. I have one pesky dimmer that’s proving especially difficult in this and I just gave up. Otherwise, awesome!

Fallen behind. So buggy. Poorly designed. Slow. Ugh! So many issues. Like, when you exit the app or even just switch between two systems, the app will reset your arriving and leaving home settings. Every time you open the app it takes almost a full minute to start up. If you need to add a device, full minute for that screen to load, need to add or edit a scene? Full minute. Just for the app to get to that page. But the arrive and leave settings are a killer. We used to use this all the time, now we’ll have to switch to google home.

App Lags. The last few updates have caused the app to lag when loading devices to turn off/on. What used to be instantaneous viewing and control of caseta-compatible dimmers, now takes in upwards of 20-30 seconds to load devices. This occurs on multiple devices with no network changes and both on with and cellular data. I was happy with the app control, but do not rate the current app version highly.

Great app. 2 small improvements would be nice.. It’s a great app. Very professional. Developer support very responsive. My only remaining 2 small gripes are first that after you give a custom name to a room it does not provide an ability later on to change the custom room name. Am working with developer on this last issue. Second (new issue) it’s unclear what time of day the app thinks it is currently. Would be very helpful for app to display current time, especially in the advanced setting about the time zone and using internet to get the time

Love the devices and the app.. UPDATE: App still working great. Love the new "timer" function that allows quick setting for timed off. The switches and hubs are still rock solid. 21 DEC 2023 Lutron is now helping me with my smart homes. I manage two homes easily and very logically. Their products worked well, but I put off getting the hubs. Finally did, and it has been a great investment. Rock solid performance. Keep up the good work, Lutron.

Smart Bridge Pro with 15 switches and counting. Everything works great (The set up is easy with intuitive app) just be careful with which dimmable bulbs you choose some are not favorable for smart switches. Looking forward to using the pro bridge with control4 soon

Reliable Products — Do What They Say That They Will Do!. Love Lutron Caseta products - have a number of them throughout my house and guest house. Saved me lots of grief a few years ago when power to my outdoor lights could no longer be turned on/off from my back porch (due to a wiring/conduit reconfiguration). Their products saved the day! And the latest timer feature to turn off a switch after X number of hours and/or minutes cures a few other issues for that otherwise took a lot of Alexa and iOS Shortcuts programming - so thanks for that!

Can’t change fan icon. I don’t know when this changed but I can’t change the fan icon in HomeKit (I honestly wish apple would override this). I had this setup previously with the ceiling fan icon. Then at some point last month the device became unresponsive in HomeKit, and after resetting this up I noticed I was stuck with the ugly desk fan icon like the smart hunter ceiling fans. Please work with apple and fix asap!

Easy setup. Got these to put in a three way switch for the family room. It was so simple to install I’ve purchased two more switches for Christmas lights and living room. More switches will be coming 😁

We’ve been enjoying our Lutron Caseta setup for over a year With dozens of devices setup we can say without a doubt that there is nothing like it on the market. K.I.S.S standard means it works. Love that Caseta devices do not need internet and are quite happy without it. The “Keep It Simple Stupid” concept is what make these devices better than others that can lead to bedazzling light shows when some device or computer driven internet reliant software screws up. Really like the latest addition of a motion sensor and outdoor switch, but … I removed one star because the last update killed my Widget scene control. It just ..Will …Not … work despite reboots, reinstall, & O/S update to 15.1 on iPhone8. App works perfectly other than that. Would like a diagnostic setting (What’s this device?) to assist in identifying devices after they get mixed up (mostly unlabeled pico remotes) by being moved about.

Lights. Great product, easy to use!

Feature Request - Schedule Tags. I have a LOT of Lutron devices, and the list is growing. From Diva switches to exterior landscape light plugs. As such, I have many regular schedules set up. But I also have special groups of schedules, for example: Halloween, Christmas, Summer, so that certain lights do/don't come on. I also have a set of "Security" schedules that I use to randomize various lights on the property while I'm away. Etc. The problem is, all the schedules get mixed together on the schedule page, because that page has no filters, and only sorts by scheduled time. There's no way to filter by a group tag. This makes it hard for your devoted customers who have many devices and many schedules, to manage their schedules. I have to use paper to make sure I've got a set of schedules set up properly due to the scrolling needed to get to each one. Could you please add a simple tagging feature to allow us to add a custom-text tag to each schedule? And then add a filter to the schedule page so that we can select one of our tags so we can see just that tagged group of schedules - while also retaining the order-by-time within that tag list? Thanks!

Great app for Caseta lights. Awesome app, I just wish the 'turn off after sunset' feature wasn't limited to 4 hours. In the dead of winter 4 hours past sunset only gets my outdoor lights til 8:30PM. Please extend this timer feature.

Great devices and app. I have been using Lutron Wifi switches for a long time already, after I moved to a new property, I also installed Lutron. I think it’s the best in the market.

Amazing switches. These are the best hardwired HomeKit switches you can buy. They are very reliable. I wish you could enable and disable Smart Away using Apple Shortcuts, Siri and directly in the Home app. Please add this ability. Keep up the great work.

Gave three stars, app sends usage data by default. Hidden under account —> Privacy settings is a toggle to disable sending usage data from the app. This should be explicitly presented to the user when signing in and not something we have to look for. Does not encourage consumer trust in the app and the developers.

Caseta and Ring Door bell intergation. I love the new interaction between the 2 devices The only thing I would like to see is a variable timer for lights at Max brightness before returning to before Door Bell ring or Montsion detection A fix time of 15 mins is to long Hopefully this can be made to end user selectable time.

Lighting control with ease!. Amazing product. I highly recommend!

One small issue I was able to resolve. I’ve been using the app and products for years, but usually accessing my lights using the iOS Home app. Recently purchased a new switch but the Lutron app wouldn’t connect to the bridge to allow me to add the switch. Tried all the troubleshooting steps on the website with no luck. Finally deleted the app, reinstalled it, and now it works perfectly again.

Geofencing no longer working!. Geofencing stopped working suddenly, I reinstalled the app, make sure to allow Location service to Always. It just doesn’t work anymore. I noticed there is no Lutron option in Background app refresh. Maybe this is the culprit. Please fix it

I love the control. Great app to manage the different lights in the house.

Could use a few more features. The app is a must have if you have a Caseta system. All the settings that are set up in the app run even when the app is closed or uninstalled. Couple suggestions, it be great if the custom settings like icon types could be stored in the user account. This way if I share the app or load it on another device all my custom settings would show up. Another feature that would be great is a count down timer to off. It would be great if this count down timer could also be sent up as scenes so that when I select a scene it executes based on the count down timer. This would be great for the pico remotes too. Many times at night I want to set the house to away or a scene but I don’t want it to happen for another few mins. The same would be great for single lights. It would be great if app scenes could be apply to pico remotes too. I have 4 button picos and it would be great to be able to set the scenes in the app. Or have a pico with a count down delay setting.

Quality. You get what you pay for. Clearly a well managed software platform. Excellent performance.

Smart brige. Hello, I have two residences and two complete system. I find it inconvenient, not to be able to put both systems on the same account. I am forgotten to log in all the times and past from one account to another

Awesome!. Been using Caseta for a few years, so easy to install, set up and use.

Great app. Love it

Geofencing no longer reliable. This is a very well designed app - logical, easy to use. But geofencing has not worked reliably since updating to iOS 15. Have re-installed, checked permissions, location services, but still only works about half of the time. Really annoying, this is a feature I really liked.

The best app. Period. Easy to use - intuitive, smart and reliable. Perfection.

No multi user / no sunrise or sunset on smart away. App works okay for a single person with one phone in the house. How do you natively geofence with other family members? Also. Smart away - has no sunrise sunset setting. As the days grow shorter or longer with the seasons - why wouldn’t this have been included. I can use it when creating a new scene or schedule. But not with smart away.

Crashing on launch. Since its last update, it crashes instantly when you lauch it (using an iphone 12 pro).

Why The app and control won’t work when I’m away from home?. Hello, can you please advise how canI control my lights when I’m away from home? I installed Apple home it didn’t work. I added an I pad as a hub it still not working.

So. Slow!. There’s no question the Casetta system is amazing, zero regrets spending thousands to upgrade all of our switches and to install picos all over the house but can we all acknowledge, your app blows. It’s so slow. Even once it’s loaded it’s obviously heavy as actions are delayed or unresponsive. It’s 2023. This should not be this painful.

Functional but quite slow. One spends a lot if time in loading screens now. Its odd since it used to be much more responsive. Each revision seems to get slower.

Configure display. It took me a bit to get used to the new look. We’ve been using the Lutron app for a few years now to control our home lighting and now have the Caseta shades on it. I miss the ability to configure the user interface with the new design. I was able to move around the devices so they were in order that made each one easy to find. I think that feature was in the settings section. Will you be able to implement that feature in the next update??

From No Automation To Smart Home. Purchased a new home with no automation. I decided to look at a number of solutions. I purchased 1 of each the smartphone products on the market at the local Home Depot. I evaluated the product based on the following criteria: - Brand reputation. How long has the company been in the business. - Ease of use after installation. Could they pass the ‘Mom Test’ - Ease of installation. Instruction were clear and diagrams were correct. - Support on the web. The Lutron product scored 10s in all areas.

I love this device!. I didn’t wanna be “too much” so I bought the wall dimmer switch with remotes. HA‼️ When you forget to turn the lights off 🤷🏽‍♀️ I purchased the bridge and WAHLAA‼️ I can control them from wherever I am now‼️ Thanks Lutron‼️

Easy set up. Quick response, intuitive controls

Scenes. The app is great!, just wish when you create a scene if you click it twice it would turn off the scene you made. I always just use Apple home app to control my lights instead

Adding improvements. Would love to see you add capability so each hub can carry at least 100 devices. Please advise if this is doable.

Seamless and Stable. Way better than the old “Lutron Connect App”. Allow for control of lights and shades for most new Lutron systems.

Diva and pico still a bad combo. I was hoping the app would fix it, but you still can’t have the 2button pico turn on Diva controllers at the brightness level set on their sliders. Instead they go full 100%. Disappointing.

Kudos for Caseta. Caseta and the Lutron app are high quality, extremely reliable products. I’ve been using the system for over 5 years and keep adding to it for these reasons.

No new features for last 2 years…. Overall happy with the hardware, but the app didn’t have any new features since I downloaded it 2 years ago… Please add a feature to allow setting dimmer switches to turn on at the lower settings say after 8PM.

Falling behind technologically — iOS 16.2+.. Ever since version 16.2 for iOS, this app has failed with basic functionality. Even Google Home/Assistant has this app beat surprisingly. It seems that Lutron has reallocated its developers to the new Caseta wired switches, which do not require the hokey Pico remote. I feel completely cheated by this company. I wish I would’ve waited three months before I invested about $2000 in Lutron smart switches. Lutron has dusted me way too soon.

Amazing Products. Lutron has amazing products from dimmers, smart switches, whole house lighting systems. This app with the Caseta system through out your house can make lighting and life fun!

Can’t find out to add as widget. in the app, i’ve added scenes and devices to show up in the widget… but i can’t find how to actually add the widget on iphone or ipad. “lutron” simply doesn’t show up in the list of widgets to add. otherwise… great solution.

No way to set static IP address. Documents say there’s a way to set the bridge IP address to static, but I can’t find any option — under advanced settings there’s no network option (in fact no option).

Just added shades / blinds!. Our installation was completed yesterday with all our blinds on one controller just to get them up and working. Added the individual blinds to my phone this AM. TOO SIMPLE! Love Lutron’s simplicity!

So far so good. Started off by trying one switch, then another and now I have five switches. I’m able to control from phone, Alexa and wall and remotes. Feedback. The app works fine and is easy to navigate. What would be nice though, is to be able to rearrange the order of the lights within a room.

Easy to use. I just uninstalled Philips Hue and GE Cync, I should have done it earlier. Caseta is so much easier to install and control. Their online instructions make it easy. The app is perfect. I also set up a few Pico switches.

Needs support for multiple accounts. Great app buuuut I’m not sharing passwords with family members and guests, needs support to manage and share the home with other accounts as every other home control app does. You have an installer vs homeowner account already, why not family member?

Requires account now. When I installed my caseta switches, I was able to use the app, connect them to HomeKit and be on my way. Now, the app will not allow you past the splash screen without creating an online account. I don’t want to do that. Let me use the app the way I did before without phoning home and making data at your servers.

Lutron Caseta. Excellent product - one of the best signal reliability among all light switches and dimmers. Has other capabilities that I have not used just - audio and blinds. Definitely trusted product.

Phenom App!!. Ease of use is amazing!! Makes house futuristic with its scheduling and automation capabilities. Must have if modernizing home and looking to add value. Switch costs are pricey though.

Effective. I use Casetas mostly controlled by HomeKit, but I use the Lutron app for set up and configuration. It’s very clear and effective. And can control multiple Caseta hubs at the same time (I have three). It allows me to keep track of my 140+ Caseta devices.

Great App. Does exactly as described, No issues going on 2 years. Controls my bedrooms lights, kitchen lights, family room lights, and the porch lights.

The app was easy to set up and work with!. I’m switching all of my lights to this system, this will be a long process but the app setup and control through Alexa are extremely easy.

Good product. Switched over after Insteon went belly-up. Switches are easy to install (Remember to label your wires). App is very user-friendly. Nice product.

REMOVE A LIGHT. Holy mother of God, I cannot believe it is this excruciatingly. Difficult to figure out how to remove a light from my home. I literally cannot find a way to do this in the app and it is beyond pathetic that this level of dysfunction is allowed in this afternoon to fire all of your pathetic, talentless, product, designers and engineers, and you need to let your users remove lights from their home in a simple way for the love of God you talentless freaks

Broken Carrier integration. Love the app but the Carrier integration is forwarding to Ecobee. Edit: There may be some association between some Carrier thermostats and Ecobee, but definitely not with two Carrier thermostats installed in our new home. I’d bet Carrier is pushing for their own line now. However, I am changing my rating to 4 stars. The app simplicity and lack of ads deserves at least 4 stars. I feel more justified spending the money on Lutron devices with it running so smoothly. Hopefully there is a solution for upping the device limit before long.

When is Lutron going to play nice with ADT/Nest doorbell?. Love the Lutron system overall. It works well with almost all my smart home stuff. The new ADT/Nest Doorbell is great but its motion sensor won’t trigger automations with my Lutron system to turn on/off porch lights and driveway lights etc. I’m going to have to buy a separate camera to mount to trigger that.

It’s the Cadillac of lighting. One hub to rule them all , not every switch In the house has its own wifi connection .

Works well. This is my second home with Lutron lights and shades. We use Caseta. Everything works well.
