Outdoor Annual. I love this app. I have all the regulations at my fingertips. As a fishing guid and hunter this puts the book right in my hands. Customers ask all the time about fishing or hunting regulations and with the Outdoor Annual app I don’t have to hunt for my book. Thanks to all our Game Wardens for your service. app freezes.. first screen freezes. will not run app. I delete d app, reloaded, first time to use it the app will work. after closing app and restarting, the app freezes on first page.

This app has a strange feature. I have Safari and pop ups entirely blocked on my phone, so I cannot use the web. However, if I do click on one of these links, it strangely takes me to this app

I miss the old version. I liked the older version where I could scroll through the images of fish. It’s not a huge issue but not everyone knows the names of every fish.

App doesn’t even function.. I have to delete, redownload, and log back in to my account to show proof of my licenses every time. App is barely functional. Just order physical copies of your licenses.

Want open. Nothing works on this app

MAKE IT AVAILABLE IN DIGITAL WALLET. For quick access, it should be available in the digital wallet. You can just double click and check your dates.

Update. Why is this not updated for 2021 season? Kinda ridiculous!!!

Doesn’t store license. This app is not as promised. Keep your license on hand because this app will delete it from the save license link so if your ever out fishing well be ready for a ticket. Now I’m going to have to purchase a new one because I was thinking this app would have saved it until it expired but I was wrong.

Will not open on iPhone 8. Same connectivity issues as the other reviews. It gives the following error: Network Error - Unable to update regulations data - Please check internet connection and restart app.

Big step forward. Took something hard to read and made it easier to use. Huge fan of this app.

Not working!. Zero stars because the app is crap. It opens for the 1st time after installing and then won’t open again. Can y’all fix it please.

App won’t connect. App will not connect for data. And yes, it’s updated. So the guy claiming the poor reviews is due to those not knowing how to use a phone, there isn’t a lot we can do.

Works, I guess. Would be nice if the licenses were in-app purchases instead of a hyperlink to the website. That makes it a bit clunky. Also, my license detail is cutoff on the right side. Specifically, the date I completed my certification. It still does what I need.

Exceptional app - amazing that this is from a government agency.. This app is very useful and intuitive. It's got all the information you need, easy to find. Also with extra tools to do stuff like find areas nearby to fish and hunt. A well deserved 5/5 stars.

Slow To Update Active Licenses?. I purchased my Yearly All-Water License more than a month ago. I’m here in Port Aransas realizing that I forgot my paper license. No problem, I see that I can use this app. Come to find out it’s got my expired day license from a year ago and a license from 2011 on there, but no currently active 2021 license. What is the point? I’m hoping the confirmation email with my customer number and proof of purchase is enough for the wardens.

No internet access. Claims I have no internet access but have perfect service have deleted and re downloaded the app at least a dozen times over the last two weeks and get the same exact problem!!!!! Real aggravating!!!

App not opening? Try this!. This app was not working for me, it was stuck on the loading screen like many others have spoke about. I deleted the app and reinstalled. Issue resolved.

Update on no limit fish spices type needed. Any information about size and quantity of trout and croaker would help

Helpful, but missing zone map. I find the app user friendly and chock full of good resources, including integration with digital licenses. Wish the zone map was there somewhere. Thank you!

Too easy. User friendly app with lots of commonly asked information. It’s nice to be able to see all your licenses as well.

Version 9.0 not working. I can open the app the first time after downloading. After that it won’t open past the title screen. I have deleted and downloaded several times with the same result. It doesn’t matter if I select to allow push updates or not.

More boat ramp info please. The boat ramp locator is great and I hope more info is coming because it doesn’t show the status. Knowing which ramps are open and closed would make this tool invaluable. Right now it’s just a very nice list. The filters have potential but they’re backwards. Selecting “trailerable boats” should isolate the list to show ONLY big-boat ramps but instead it selects all ramps because of course little boats also fit at big boat ramps. The boat ramps feature will be such a win if it can be improved a little.

Seasons. What takes so long to update the hunting seasons? General season is always the first Saturday of November. Bow season always fluctuates. Kinda hard to plan vacation time when no one knows when bow season starts.

Texas hunting & fishing apt.. For those who write a bad review have no idea as how to use a mobile phone. After reviewing the apt. I was really surprised of the new updates. Loved those about the fishing info! This apt. Has it all and still more. For you fellows out there in never never land, ya better get this apt. Because it’s like a Tech order book. And some of my service buddies know what I am talking about. If something is out of date ya better check the Tech data first to see the the change. This way ya won’t be getting a citation from our friends from the Dept. of law enforcement. Remember, these guys do save lives from time to time. Ya all take care out there in the hunting field and on the lakes. One last thought, leave the alcohol at home for a safe hunting and fishing trip.

Great to have!. So far, so good! The app works fine. Have had no issues with it. It would also be nice to be able to link your Hunter’s Education certificate so it’s all here.

Can’t connect my Customer # to mobile app. Tried multiple times to connect my Customer # and Name in the mobile app, but I get an error that the service is unavailable and that they’re having problems with the lookup service. Tried rebooting my phone - no luck. App must buy buggy. Curious if others have the same issue?

Handy App. Very handy to have. Same info as the book. But would be nice, if they had pictures of the fish to help identify. Have no pictures of saltwater fish.

Hunting date.. When are you going to update hunting date to this season. Still has last season dates.

I hope this gets read!!!. Why can't this department require to enter every animal harvested that needs a tag to be entered in a system (app or home computer within 24 hours) to keep count of kills. Hunter can easily reuse tags! Thank you

23-24 season. When is the update going to occur for the new season?

Won’t load data on iPhone X. Worked great until about 2 months ago. Now, nothing will load.

License lookup. Every time I have attempted to connect my license the same notification pops up saying “we’re experiencing issues with the License lookup service”. Been trying to use it for weeks. Tried deleting and resetting up the app, still having the same problem.

Typical Government Run Project. First thing that pops up when you update the app is a disclaimer saying that the info in this app may not be accurate. Therefor if you follow this app but hung or fish game illegally you can still face charges. Then it says it is on you to do research of the regulations.... I thought that’s what I was doing......

Locks up. The app locks up the second time I open it. Tried reinstalling. Works once then locks up. Same thing happened on my buddy’s phone.

Quick info. Love this app for the most part. The load times vary. This month, the fishing part of the App is not loading on iPhone.

I like it.. Great tool. Always room for improvement. Perhaps a pop up telling you there are updates. If you do not go update at beginning up new season you are potentially viewing incorrect information which could cause you to be in violation of regulations. In addition, changes made during the year like closings do not show up. Otherwise plenty of information right here in one place. While I’m at it. Nowhere does TPWD say fish remains can or cannot be returned to a water body. Internet search will tell you TPWD recommends returning to water with air bladder punctured. Local law enforcement says it’s illegal dumping. Fish cleaning stations at marinas everywhere return remains to water. My only legal choice is the trash can at a gas station since they are for customers this no theft of service;). Seriously clarify this please.

Error. Keeps giving a "error downloading regulations" message. Emailed support no response as of yet.

New download doesn't work. Since I've updated to 2016/17 app it doesn't work at all. Loved this app last year, now it won't open. Ugh deleted and re-downloaded to no avail! Please fix. Fixed I will rate it 5 stars all day.

Works fine for me. App is good quick source for hunting info. My only current complaint is that not sure when, how, or if will update fine with new season coming up. I am hopeful.

Awesome last year, won't load this year. This app has been super helpful in past years. It gives me hunting dates and hunting and fishing limits. This year the app will not leave the loading screen. Please see that this gets fixed as it have been so helpful in the past.

Great idea but dysfunctional. I got this app in hopes of being able to use it instead of hauling around the booklet with me. Unfortunately, it won't even load.

Update the dang seasons already. Nice format, easy to use. But for crying out loud, dove season opens in a week, teal in two weeks, the TPWD website has had updated seasons for a while … is it too much to ask for a dadgum UPDATED 2023-24 SEASON ON THE APP ALREADY???

7-5-17 works for me. Despite the negative reviews I decided to give it a shot. I installed and it opened up. I browsed around and had 0 issues. It's all old info from last season but the new booklets aren't out yet so . . . . If the new info updates next month, I'll update my review accordingly.
