Problems even signing up. Is this just for kid because trying to set it up is not possible for adults

Not accurate. You can not trust this product , it is constantly wrong.

So good! But hate low temp settings. Lowest possible body temp setting is 95f, and can’t turn off the notifications for low temp alone or high temp alone. This is a fantastic continuous temperature monitor but need more control over the settings and preferences 😭

Waste of time and money. After spending $70 dollar on the device and waiting for it to get here just to have it not even work is very disappointing. The stupid alarm keeps going off because it says the body temp is only 94 degrees!

Horrible. Horrible! Doesn't work on Apple Watch, keep asking to log in on iPhone but I did it already!

Needs their product. Not Apple Watch feature.. I thought this allowed me to use my new Apple Watch to read my temperature (it was recommended through its app), but it does not. You must buy their thermometer and then use this app to read the temperature.

Miss the old version. This used to be great until they updated it. It lost all my data and took away signing in from a second device so I could monitor when I was more than 6 feet away very disappointed.

Not accurate and falls off. The temperature reading is about 2 degrees too low. It is also very dependent upon where it is placed so there is a variance of as much as a degree based upon placement. As others have said, the patch barely holds it on and it will fall off after a few hours which makes the historical trend useless. In addition to the physical problems, the app is buggy and the help text is often wrong. I like the idea of this device but it is not well designed nor well implemented.

Paste is disabled in sign up password field. I use a password manager. This is making it very difficult to sign up.

Love the device not so much the app. The app works great for the functions that it offers. The hardware is slim, Here are the shortcomings: * export pictures instead than actual data (eg text file) * Fonts are way too small to read (iPad) particularly for White over ligh blue color. The indicator in which status is device doesn’t exist - you can find some of the statuses (connected / disconnected..) by side effects rather than having an icon. I drained 2 batteries before I found out that I was leaving the device on Hardware: The led that indicates the status of the device is blue for everything so you are left to guess “did I press more or less than two seconds” “was a long press or not” simply using different colors would address this conundrum of device state

Horrible. This app never stays connected. I have to manually refresh the app to see what my child's temp has been running. You would think for as much as I spent on it that it would work. It would be great to get alerts and not just refresh and see your baby's temp was really high through the night.

Buggy as all heck but works sometimes. Constantly have to reconnect to the device and when I do it makes me select the device except pushing on the device does nothing to go to the next screen. I have to fully close the app 3-4 times until it decides to work. I’ve had this device for over 2 years and app has never gotten any better. Please fire your app designers. They’re not good.

Is this a scam?. Not intuitive at all. Confusing to use, asks for too much information instead of just letting use the dang thermometer. Useless. Wouldn’t give it a single star if I could.

Accurate but connection issues render it useless. I get that it needs a buffer connection. It’s a small device powered by a battery. So I keep an iPad in the room so that the device can stay connected. We are supposed to be able to mirror the temperature on our phones. However, this doesn’t happen. You can log in and be on the right profile but it doesn’t matter. There is no button to make the app check to see if a device is connected, so there is no way to get the remote device to mirror the data being uploaded to the app. This issue isn’t even covered in any FAQs or manual, it just says the remote apps will mirror data. Nothing about what to do if it doesn’t. I really really wanted this to work, but for now it’s just a regular thermometer.

App won’t link to IWatch 6.. Downloaded the app and tried to connect my 2 devices. In program it asks to pull-down to create link and nothing happens. No link available to connect regardless of setting. Useless.

Remote monitoring doesn’t work anymore!. I’ve tried over and over to connect to my grandson across town but it doesn’t find the thermometer. It used to work great. Was there an update that caused it not to work anymore? Please fix this!!

Medicine reminders live for eternity. Cannot figure out how to delete notifications I had set up for medicine reminders! Otherwise it’s a useful app

Used to have an app on my Apple Watch, but no longer an option. I have 3 of these thermometers. My oldest is a heart transplant recipient and we monitor his temperature very closely. We have had our thermometers for over 5 years now and love them. I used to have a version of this that was on my Apple Watch too, but not anymore. I LOVED that feature. Is there any way to bring it back? That’s the part that’s missing for me.

Used to be great. I loved this device for my infant so I didn’t have to wake him in the night for temp checks when he’d spike a fever. I just taped it under his arm with medical paper tape so it wouldn’t be hurtful to remove later, and he could sleep peacefully and undisturbed while I kept watch on his temperature. I had it connected to my old iPhone which stayed next to his crib and could monitor it remotely on my cell phone so I never missed an alert. After some updates to the app over the course of a couple of years, I can no longer monitor remotely from a second device which was the biggest advantage to this product for me. I really loved this and it worked wonderfully in the first year of having it. I still use it on my now toddler and it still works effectively. I really miss the ability to connect a second device though so I’m shopping for a new product that features everything I require.

Trash. Won’t connect to my Apple Watch. garbage app

Amazing. I find it hard to pay $50 for this device, but it is certainly worth the $10 I paid at goodwill. I definitely recommend

Need separate device to take actual temp. Regardless of what you read.... this app will not take your temp without the purchase of another device

Fix the app. Seriously???! The app won't even stay open. It crashes no matter what I do 2 seconds after I sign in. Tried on iPhone 6 and 7 with iOS 10. It worked fine 2 months ago. You guys charge for a product that is supposed to be dependable during a time of stress (sick infant) check that your app works before releasing the update. This is unacceptable for a medical device. Not a time for beta releases.

Great, but.... The watch app doesn’t work. I’ve had the app setup on my phone, it’s been working well for days, but when I run the watch app, all it says is “Log in on your iPhone”. I created my account and activated it through my email, but the watch app still only shows the same message. I’ve tried going through the app settings to try and find anything that might allow me to “fix” the watch app, but I get nothing... It’d also be nice if the watch app supported a complication.

Love this. I have had this thermometer since baby was born and she is now almost two. I don't know how people don't love this more. I recommend it to all my Mommy friends. Last night her fever spiked to 103 but i wasn't worried because the app woke me up and warned me when she hit 102(i set the alarm at that degree). Got up gave her meds and then watched how her fever went back down. She stayed home with dad and i felt so calm and reassured while at work, knowing that i can log on from my phone and see what the thermometer was reading at home on dad's phone.

You have to purchase your device first.. You have to purchase the thermometer device and THEN Install it on your phone

zero stars!. I understand that we have not come THAT FAR with modern phone tech, but something more than a message at the bottom of the page saying we have to buy a separate device would be stellar. Hard to read or think if you are very ill.

Accessibility. I guess people who are blind or visually impaired don’t have a body temperature. I guess we do not get sick at all. Because this app has no accessibility in it whatsoever. Voiceover does not work with this app. Of course I get this app zero stars if I could it may be great for the side of world. It is poorly made for the blind world. I know we’re garbage. Nobody gives a second thought about people like us.

Accurate temps?!?. The idea of this is phenomenal. But putting an idea into practice is another thing. Using 3 thermometers to just get an accurate baseline temp against this one and it's a full 2 degrees less than the other two thermometers. Concerning and disappointing at the same time. We've decided to just add 2 degrees to what it's reading and will be looking for a better option tomorrow.

Helped to save my son’s life!. I had purchased this device on sale & had my doubts of it not working correctly due to previous monitors I have purchased. This is extremely easy to use & while my son ended up hospitalized, the doctors actually compared this device to the hospital thermometer that my son kept pulling off. It was accurate EVERY time. It was not bothersome for my son as he really didn’t remember it was under his arm. Of course, I am that mom that stays as close to my children as possible...especially if they are sick. Therefore I had zero troubles for it becoming unconnected to my phone. Use of this was tremendously easier than waking my son that had 6 surgeries when he was finally resting peacefully. My mind was at ease to know I could just look at my phone at any given second to check on his fever. There is also an awesome alert setting that will allow you to be notified if temp drops too low or too high (per your discretion) if you are not a helicopter parent like me that just left it on the screen. Thanks so much for helping to assist me with saving my son’s life. We knew the infection was present when his temps started rising. If you read the directions, there is no way to go wrong!

Extra Sensor?. No where in the App download instructions of explanation of the App does it tell you that another piece is required to operate the iThermomonito. Don’t download if you don’t have the temp monitor the App talks bluetooth to operate.

This is an app for a thermometer you purchase. This leads you to thinking your iPhone will use this app, but it doesn’t. You have to buy a unit and the app works off that unit.

Useless. Don’t forget your password because you won’t be able to reset it. I had to create a new account and pairing the device with the app is impossible. The connected wheel has been turning for a solid 20 minutes and nothing.

I LOVE this. I’m also confused why this doesn’t have a better rating. The only thing I can think of is the sticky things don’t stick very well sometimes so we just use hospital tape so we know it’s secure. Anyway, I have two kiddos that get Febrile Seizures (seizures due to a high fever) and this truly helps me get meds in them quick enough and has saved us from dealing with more seizures. I have it set to alert me at 100 degrees so I have time to get meds in them because they spike so quickly! I also love how I can check on them from my bed! Love love love this product!

Useless Since Update—Cloud Mirroring not supported. This app used to be awesome. You could set up a “local” device (I used an old iPhone), and the data would mirror on any other apps signed in with account. Now, there’s no place to enter your account data, mirroring does not work. You have to be within 5 feet of the device to get a reading. There’s ZERO point to having the device if I have to go in the room to get a reading. Might as well just manually check temperature at that point. I could cry—my baby is sick and I went to use this as I always have (have had it for 5 years!!!!). Only to find that they have killed the best part of the app. If I could download a previous version of the app, I would. This new update is AWFUL. Save your money on the device/-I noticed they are back on the market again. Also, the developer website says it supports mirroring when it clearly does not. SO DISAPPOINTED.

not as good as others. For $50 this device could be smaller or the patches could be bigger. The patch barely fits over the device so it barley stays on my baby's skin. I have to fix and adjust it every time I pick him up. It lifts and it folds so I had to use 3 patches in one day. The app itself kept changing his birthday month and that I had to keep fixing but when I saved his profile it changed months again. Not that happy with this product.

Misleading reviews. I’m confused why others are having such a hard time. There are many reasons why you have to stay close to baby while monitoring their temperature. First is that the device itself is using a very low energy blue tooth technology as to save battery life and not burn your child. (I personally stay close to my child anyways while they are sick) Second make sure you are reading your directions properly on where to place the device, and hold adhesive patch against skin for 8 minutes. I have a wiggly almost two year old so I add a little bit of medical tape since he can pick at the patch. It’s definitely not a perfect app, but I love being able to be woken up by an alarm when my son’s temperature spikes to 104 like it did last month. Please read your device’s directions well and you should have minimal problems.

Borderline false advertising. So I downloaded the app based on reviews I read from a few websites...none mentioned (nor is it mentioned in the app description) you have to pair the app with some other device that I can find no mention of anywhere before downloading the app....please update the description...it’s just a sad business model...update before someone sues...

Only for children. I would like this as a adult, but it’s only for a child

This thing is a joke. Definitely buy this product if you love getting have a crying sick baby and love disappointed. The temperature reading doesn’t even reach above 88 degrees. Either every healthy person we tried this on is dead inside or the product simply doesn’t work.

Worthless App. This app pretends to be a thermometer. It isn’t. It is completely waste of time.

Misleading purpose of application. My strong suggestion - place a notice that clearly says “This application is in support of the....... thermometer. The application cannot use the Apple Watch alone to measure the body temperature of the wearer.”

Bug. The app will not let me log in so I will delete it when I stop writing

Excellent. Seriously a great app. Refined. Simple yet filled with useful information. Don’t know why people rate it so low. Use it for my newborn son and I’m happy to know ahead of time if I need to add or remove blankets.

Needs range improvements. If your baby is not sleeping in your room, you need a device dedicated to remain within the 10’ range. If I leave the room, I lose connection and I have to go downstairs to reconnect in the middle of the night, rendering the device useless. The idea is great, but the implementation needs work.

Just signed up for this app but deleting immediately! What a waste of my time. As previous reviewer said it requires sign up (which I didn’t mind) and accessories for this app to work. I thought they meant they didn’t have an Apple Watch (which I do) so I got the app expecting it would work with my watch once installed.... yeah, not so. This app requires you to buy their specific thermometer for it to work, which I’m absolutely NOT going to do, so this app will be deleted immediately after this review is finished. What a misleading waste of time. I’d rather use my good old trusty regular thermometer and forget about this useless app.

Works On Apple Watch. NOT! This does not work with Apple Watch. Downloaded the app, went through set up, only to have app on watch say “log in”. I was logged in and it doesn’t work. In other words, description of this app is wrong.

Apple Watch?. Doesn’t take temperature through Apple Watch. Thought that was the whole point.

Need accessories and an account. This looks like a great app, but you need to buy accessories to make it work AND must sign up for an account. This is not made clear in the app description.

Can’t buy device and website doesn’t work. Can’t find the device to purchase it anywhere. The listing doesn’t come up on Amazon. And the company website doesn’t work and doesn’t provide any guidance on how to buy. Not even sure why this is in the Health app, because it’s thoroughly useless.

Relief. This is a fabulous app for a fabulous product ! I don't know what that person is talking about a birthday, the years go way back. They should make it more known that it takes around 8-10 minutes to warm up on the child to give you a correct temperature.

Worthless. I can't even get started on this app. It asks for my email but won't give me the keyboard to let me. It asks for my birthday but it won't let me enter it. It keeps thinking my birthday is in May. I hate this app!

issues is just setting it up. why does apple even recommend this app?

Didn't even work. Signed up followed all the prompts. Went to sign in and it wouldn't let me. Said password incorrect. Went to change password and it sent me to the website to change password. Followed all their bs only to get a 404not found. Don't download. Doesn't work properly and more frustrating than anything. I think my temperature raised just trying to use this app!!!!

I'm sure the app does work you have to buy the thermostat. Not great might be good to note you have to buy the thermometer to take a temp

Frustrated with update!. Ever since update, app has become useless. Even though it will identify he thermometer (attached to me, not two feet away from phone) it refuses to connect to it. Thermometer shows up in device list, but I can't click on it to connect at all. Lost connection in the middle of the night (again attached to me not more than a few feet away from phone) and wouldn't reconnect. Very very frustrating!

One day using but app needs some work. I can't see the times in white with the very blue background. Either make larger for those of us who don't have 20/20 vision or add a zoom in option (using iPhone.) Also if the chart could be landscape would be nice. And the "night" tab should be a "day" option too because my baby girl has been running fevers day and night even with tylenol. I dis take her to doctor and she has a virus. The app was hard to find. I was looking for "thermonitor" and "frida baby" etc. It Wasn't on the box as to what app to sync with. I Looked at the picture on the box and the instructions and compared it to the apps search result. It is "ithermometer". I like the device overall and it did alarm as I had set it too when her temperature started going up during the early hours. Ps- I tried to leave feedback on your app under "feedback" tab and it said "Failed. Please try again."

Could be exceptional. Wish the Bluetooth could be stronger. DAughter's room is just across the hall from us but it still can not be read. I have to leave my phone outside her door to be able to read and monitor it on my Apple Watch.

Some adjustments.... So... I halfway love this and I halfway don't. The problems that I have found is that it won't continue to monitor my child's temperature unless the app is open on my screen. Like I can't open a text message and write to somebody without the app "pausing" itself. Which is annoying; to say the least. I wish this app would continue to monitor and record my child's temperature. Also, I can't be far away from the actual FeverFrida! It doesn't want to connect real good if I'm downstairs and my son (the one wearing the FeverFrida) is upstairs in his bedroom. Please fix these 2 issues!!

Smartest invention for baby EVER!!!. I bought this for my 18 month old son who had his first febrile seizure a month ago. He now has another fever and I was so worried that he'd have a seizure in the middle of the night that we got this. It measures temperature within .2 degrees of his ear thermometer reading and now we don't have to wake him up thru the night to take his temperature. The only drawback is that the smartphone app has to be within 10 ft of the reader on our son in order to stay connected and keep a reading to chart his temperature. I just stay right outside his bedroom door and swipe the app to connect it to get a temperature reading but it would've been nice to been able to be in my bedroom and have a constant signal being sent.

Update broke BT connection. Update broke the BT connection and no longer finds the device.

Mr. Cannot select birthdate since it scrolls back to current date, no option to select self.

Useless. This is a completely useless app. It asks you to out in personal data but if you weren't born from 2000, you cannot put in any data. Completely crappy app.

it is working for me perfectly. like i said, it is just working, great design, i like the app very much, and great advise from the app as well.

A must have!. I recommend this device for everyone!! This is my go to gift for friends and family because it is such a lifesaver, literally. I love that you can set temperature alarms, which is a great help at night. Only negative is the Bluetooth strength
