Great game being ruined by ads and in app purchases. You need to get all the medals to play all the levels but you can no longer get all the medals without using little consumables like balloons. Of course you can always buy more when you run out - and I think you know where it goes from there. There are also constant ads for their other games.

Always be selling . . .. The game costs $3, which might be what I would think a simple, low effort puzzle game like this would be worth . . . but they also hard-sell a buch of other crap. If you cut the ropes and pop the balloons in the wrong order the screen will go to a translucent dark grey and a pointing finger will gesture at the "buy more balloons" button. Even if they were cheap it's still insulting that they sell you a game and then interrupt your play to upsell basic game mechanics.

Cut the Rope 2 is rly fun but can get boring. This fun, addicting game can carry you and your imagination away, but, technically this game is just swiping your finger around. I’m not saying this is bad but I'm just saying...

Glitch. I’m only writing this to discuss a glitch. Normally, level 8 of forest gives you a free balloon. For some reason, it also takes away a second balloon. Keep replaying it and you can’t get 3 stars on it again without paying. Please fix. Otherwise great game.

Typical iOS Sequel. Take a great game and ruin it with in app purchases. On the first level where I take more than a few attempts to get 3 they force me to get hints. After a few levels I am forced to get balloons from the shop to get 3 stars. It's ridiculous, just give me a game like part one that doesn't rely on money making gimmicks like buying balloons to get 3. Sure I didn't have to actually buy the first batch, but I don't want to get 20 or 30 levels in to the game only to find out I do. Deleted, never buying a Zepto game again.

Crashes when I try to open it on iOS 14. Decided to play this game since it had been a couple years and was feeling nostalgic. It asked me to read the privacy policy and accept. I clicked accept, and the game quit. Tried a couple extra times, same problem. Please fix, I have fond memories of this game.

Level 1-8.. Level 1-8. As game design goes, not a bad idea. It teaches new players how to use the balloon power up. But it gives you one for free, so you don't have to pay for it. At least, that's the idea. I tend to replay levels randomly after I have finished the game. So when I came back, I expected it to work fine. It did. Except for the fact that I have -1 balloon power ups. Which makes me unable to do the level. I don't know how I managed to get -1 power ups, but it's frankly game breaking. And no I'm not going to pay money for your game design issues. I hope you're happy. Also FIX CUT THE ROPE 1 IT'S A MUCH BETTER GAME.

The intro is very small in the middle of the screen.. Can you update the intro. The rest of the game is awesome but the fairy power up is lazy. The superpowers of om nom were better.

New Interface but still has that familiarity. Cut the Rope 2 boasts an entirely new interface with 5 new characters each with special features to help omnom complete the levels. OmNom can now be moved around by the player and new items such as different cutting blades and costumes can be added, purchased or unlocked. The game is a very impressive advancement and a far more enjoyable game than the original cut the rope. I praise this game.

Freemium Model and iRate support let down Fun game. I love the puzzles, challenge achievements are difficult, but possible and characters are loveable. In-App payment is compulsory to finish some challenges, which is incredibly annoying, but not as annoying is being pestered partway though a level to Rate the App. Here is your Requested Rating.

Disappointed :/. Sad to see an originally great franchise get flushed down the toilet of freemium garbage. Are you a freak for 100% completion, or a perfectionist? Well don't get this disappointing game, as in-app purchases are required to unlock levels, get 3 stars,etc For some reason, the actual gameplay is a step back from the original, and it did not capture my attention like the first did, despite trying to do more and add features. Yet another really annoying feature is the game feels almost up itself. Knowing that many players adored Om Nom for his cute design, they took it a step too far and now it's like OMG LOOK HOW CUTE OM NOM IS YOU CAN DRESS HIM UP FOR JUST 5 DOLLARS OMG SO CUTE BUTTERFLIES YAY!!!!!! A huge turn off for me, especially when I'm already annoyed at the lacklustre gameplay and greedy developers. Cutest Little Monster!. A cute little monster ‘’ Om Nom’’ just wants his LOLLY! Why can’t he have it. Through the game it gets harder as you play, you want a challenge you got it! Though it got too tough for me. It glitched once or twice but apart from that this was a very enjoyable game.

Great addition to the series. I really enjoyed the other Cut the Rope games and this is a great addition to the series. It still provides the same concept as the first game, but it adds extra characters and ways to compete levels. The power ups are great. This game is well worth the money and should be played by anyone who is a fan of the series.

Just great!. People seem to be commenting on the more difficult and complex nature of it but I for one like the game as I like puzzles. The game is still pretty simple and has a nice layer of additions as it wouldn't be cut the rope 2 without these. Great job devs I normally don't write reviews but this one just stands out so much from other games for just 99c.

Something wrong with level 1x8. I'm writing this so the makers of cut the rope 2 might investigate a problem I'm having with level 1x8. The two stars above the platform are higher than they were in previous versions and now the devices provided in the level aren't sufficient to complete the level with all three stars. I had to use one of the extra balloons to get the stars. I finished all the levels prior to this update and I never had this problem. On my other device, which doesn't have the new update, the stars are in the right spot for the level to work. Overall a very good game!

Daily reward. I've seemed to noticed that I do not always get a daily reward, even though they are meant to be daily. I am always checking the app & have notifications turned on but there are some days where I dont get to pick my butterfly. Please fix this! Apart from this I believe the game is well done & I really like the idea of the front page for the app & how u can get Om Nom to do things. Looking forward to new things!!

As charming as the first. Puzzles managed to stay fresh while retaining it's originality. In-apps purchases for power-ups is borderline game breaking. Takes away bragging rights for highscores and 100% completion rates. Still one of my favourite puzzle games on iOS.

I used to love this sequel....but now it won't even OPEN!!!. Ok first things first: I loved playing this sequel to the original Om Nom for a while (minis the in-app purchases but, I'll get to that later) but then, when one of the new updates came I was disappointed When I taped the game to open it, after I installed the update, it started to load but then it just went blank...a black screen, how fun is that? But anyway I have read a lot of other reviews and, I agree: there is no need to have so many in-app purchases! Before the game stopped working for me, I got so frustrated from all of them popping up. I understand you have to have some in-app purchases for marketing purposes but do you really need that many?? The real aim of the game, for me, is to be able to figure out the puzzles with your own mind, not buy your way through all the levels,. After all, what does that teach children? They need to learn that to accomplish something in life you have to work hard and, that sometimes you might not even get there. To me, letting them buy there way through the levels is not setting a very good example. It also ruins the fun and purpose of the game. If you can fix these things I mentioned in a new update that would be great. This sequel really is a great app...but right now; I am a bit disappointed :)

Om Nom is Great Mate!. This App fun for my two year old and me so that's got to be a good thing. . . For the kids it's a happy Appie, for me it makes me plan out how to get three stars. . . One of the better Apps for kids and us big people lol!

Pay to Win. I love this game and as everyone's been saying it's a great addition to the series. But they advertise that when you beat the game that there's so much more to do, but this stuff is only achievable by paying. To get the clovers on like every single level, you need a speial powerup. You start with a very small amount and if you use them up, you gotta pay for more. There's like 100x more clovers than powerups you start off with. Fix this or don't advertise that there's more to the game, where there isn't, unless you pay.

Absolutely brilliant!. Just like all the other cut the rope games, this one is just as addicting with new puzzles and the new characters are fun to discover what they do an how to use them. Plus the daily gift idea is brilliant.

BEST GAME EVER. I love this game so much!! I think all the new charters are so cute as well as oom nom! I like how you can put hats on him and he can move through the levels and doesn't stay still like in cut the rope 1. I didn't think cut the rope could be any better!!!!!! BUT IT DID!! Use to work. I got this game the day it came out in Australia and it rocked on my iPod Touch 4th gen. But after I got my iPod 5 and backed it up to my fours data it worked.... For a while. Then updates started coming out and it would crash when it had finished loading the bottle. Please update it to work.(I do love this game and I'm rating five stars but I'm not sure if that opinion will stay much longer :(. )

In-app purchases detract from an overall great game. I have all of the other Cut the Rope games and I love them, and this one so far is not too bad. I like the new mechanics and more challenging gameplay. The core game is worth a 4/5, HOWEVER the in-app purchases really detract from an otherwise great game. It is very frustrating how I now can't get an overall 3 stars for a world just because I refuse to shell out more money to buy extras. Very disappointed!

Interesting.... Quite a brilliant puzzle solving game where the objective is to deliver the piece of candy to Omnom, a cute creature which seems delighted every time you surpass the level. The graphics are eloquent with a fitting cartoon aspect to them, not to mention the brain wracking design of the puzzles included. The reason why I am giving this game a 4 out of 5 stars is not due to the game having a flaw but simply because I prefer the original. Good day

Good but others much better. I have 3 starred all levels in all previous om nom games and loved them - have been a fan for years - but this one is a bit disappointing. It has lost the simple charm - the levels are busier and the medals and clover leaves add unnecessary complexity without improving game play. I don't like the style of the backgrounds etc nearly as much. I am happy to pay for an ap but I don't like the business of buying your way through the game with in ap purchases which are constantly popping up. For me the reward is in getting all 3 stars no matter how long it takes not using a 'super power' to cheat. I hope this doesn't all put me off cut the rope.

About time the '-80 stars' was fixed. It's taken you guys at Cut the rope four weeks to release a fix for the '-80 stars' bug, where most players had 360 stars to unlock a level that only required 280 stars, giving the error and not allowing us to play. That is, of course, unless we paid the $2.99 unlock fee. You said in your update release you fixed this 'quickly', but four weeks is not quick. I wonder how many people were sucked into paying your unlock fee in that four weeks... Very poor work, guys.

Best puzzle game ever. Needs to be the best puzzle game I've ever played. The different creatures,hats and levels really make this game stand out! I hope more Om mom games get made and I hope this loveable creature never goes extinct! 😘😛🍭🍭🍭🍭

Okay, but too easy and pushing for IAP. Meh, this is an okay extension to the core idea of Cut the Rope. However, it's way too easy and us overtly trying to push in app purchases on you. Not really substantial enough on its own, it seems Zeptolab can't quite outdo their original success. CTR was a surprise hit, but now so many spin-offs... It's really not enough of a change to the core game to be interesting for a long time.

Fix issue - closes automatically. Latest version not fixed. Until the following issue is fixed, one star. Was working ok, until the app decided to close automatically. Tried reinstalling, powering device off-on, no go. iOS 10.1.1. Too bad huge fan, otherwise requesting refund.

Bug. Hi I'm playing on iPhone 6S with software at 10.2.1 and the game keeps crashing when I try to open it, fix it or I'm deleting the app.

Great game but too many "cheats". I really enjoyed this game, but I'm not a fan of how you can buy so many things to help you with the level. I'm also not a fan of the clover levels, they took way too long to finish, and didn't increase enjoyment. Still worth buying though

Cool 4 Kids. My 5 yr old loves the game, can't get enough. His problem solving skills have increased heaps since starting play about 3 months ago. I have played with him on the occasional level that he doesn't get 3 stars on, I have to say I rate this game very highly.

Much Improved. Much improved with new physics, characters and also the levels are more challenging than the previous games. The new characters add a new dimension to the gameplay and although the cosmetic IAP's are annoying the game is a worthy sequel.

Remove the Ads. The close button doesn't work on the king of thieves ad!!! I cannot play this game ever until it first opens the ad then opens the App Store for me to download king of thieves!! I played so much of the original a few years ago then saw this an thought I made gut give it a try and after a few levels I saw that "power up" thing that angry birds did and immediately got t turned off. I used to love this game it's sad it stooped to that level instead of actually making a good game. Not to mention all the ads.

Love This Game XOXO. This game has been one of my top Fav Games in APPS. When I first got my iPhone few years ago I had never had a nice iPhone ever. But when I finally got a iPhone I Loved the APPS I could play and this has been one that I have kept ever since I started playing APP games. They update it with new levels and new stories to watch. So I get excited when I see an update for Cut The Rope. I've even told family and friends to try this game because they will love it. And I'll tell ya I'm glad I don't have a number of lives because sometime I will get stumped and be stuck on a level for a while and have to come back later or in few days. You have to think and I always make sure I end up getting 3 stars even if I pass after I finish that Box Episode I'll go back and work on the ones I need to get 3 stars on. Because to me that's when u beat it when u get all the stars not just get to next level. And a true gamer

Perfect game for iPhones 👌👌. (DOWNLOAD IT! Worth it!) Even if I don't write that many reviews, the only thing I have to say for this game is that; it is very perfect. This game is such a masterpiece and addicting sometimes. This game deserves more than a 5 star because it's a game where you can come back to at anytime and continue on your game. It's wonderful, funny, awesome and just a good game app to have for an iPhone. I own an iPhone 5s so I can say , it is pretty awesome that I can just grab my iPhone and press on the app and play very fast with no lag. Even if it's just a simple game, I just love the fact that I can pick up where I left off anytime. It's an awesome game such as others. Just this one counts to be in the top 10 of addicting app games.

My 5 yo son loves this game!. I downloaded Cut the Rope on the Chromebook we got our 5 yo son for Christmas. He loved it and flew right through it. Then he discovered there were more versions on the iPad and has been focused since. I'm amazed at how it challenges his brain to problem solve using a variety of physics concepts. The one pitfall in investing in the game for someone so young is that, while he can always figure out how to get the candy to the Om Nom, he can't always collect all the stars. Thus, unlocking further levels for him requires $9.99 for each game. Between purchasing all the games and levels, he's finagled probably $50 in less than a month. The fact that we've been willing to spend that much is testament to how great I think this game is for challenging his brain. Not to mention how excited and proud he gets when he figures out a level that had been stumping him. Lessons in physics, focus, problem solving, and perseverance all at once.

Dec 23 update crashes. The newest update crashes on launch

Even better then ever. While everyone has pointed out the overwhelming presence of IAP's for clovers, I personally don't see any need for them. If you like going for 100%, then I'd understand the annoyance. However, for only $.99, you still get one of the more addicting physics based puzzle aps I've ever played. The levels are very creative, and go beyond simply cutting ropes. The new creatures and physics allow for much more variety in levels, which is always a good thing. Beyond simply getting all three stars, each level offers unique challenges, either earning a certain score or completing certain requirements. These challenges can be very difficult at times, and the somewhat random scores awarded for time can make certain score challenges seem impossible. All in all, despite the introduction of several pay options to access some levels, these do little to diminish the great and still addicting gameplay cut the rope is known for.

Easy yet greedy.. Omg. I need -80 stars to get the next world. Or pay money... What the actual fk. Beated the whole thing in a couple of days. Got so bored that I use the ballons to mess aroundon the maps.. Idk why but I have not won a outfit in the daily reward. Feels like its rigged, been doing the reward for more than 25 times yet havent got it once only ballons, candy, etc. So much IAPs takes the fun out of the game. They make a nice game and ruin the art of it by adding power. Im pretty sure I have over $25 worth of power ups because of the daily reward. Sigh.. Just waiting till they make more maps. Been 1-2 months. I hate how they add clovers in the game younhave to use power ups (money) in order to get them. Edit: When you pick a butterfly there is a delay after you click on one. Im guessing that it is coding where the money prize would be and where the normal ones would be. This is to prevent them from losing money when you win a money prize, but you can not since the system puts them after you click on one. Greedy company.

Great Game, one of the top apps (lil' rant). As with all of the "Cut The Rope" series, this is a fantastically cute and entertaining game. I have one little rant I can't help but rip... The Daily Award incentive is bogus. I have gained all stars for all levels and completed all side missions. I have little left to do until more levels come out. I must have played the daily award about 200 times. I've never won a costume you'd otherwise pay more money for. I'm not interested in buying, so it's a waist of time and notification. You should learn from other games like "Running with Friends" or "Jetpack Joyride" among others that obtainable 'cookies' are worth bringing players back daily. I have amassed hundreds of fun balloons though ;)
