Tell where the weather is going to be. I live in a little town called Leesburg but it seems unless bad weather is going to be close to Cincinnati the information is always saying are county’s to the east. Would like you to be more specific about your country to the east. Especially snow and rain. Thanks

Pretty good app. Decent app when it comes to precipitation on stormy days. My only complaint is on a normal day cloud cover is not accurate or reliable for novice astronomers.

Great weather app. Great weather app. I like it better than the last one! Updates faster also!

Weather. The app is ok. Rarely does the radar match what is shown on tv. The hour by hour rain percentage never matches the daily forecast rain percentage. I would never depend on the app in severe weather These flaws are most likely caused by lack of updating or who updates the data

Expected More. This is the exact same app (from the same provider) that Fox 19 is already using; however, it lacks the tab that allows you to send in weather photos and video. It also lacks their connection to video forecasts and other content. A bit disappointed.

Older iPad version was better. This new version doesn’t show current temp and forces to portrait mode. On the iPad, landscape is better.

Crashing. Same here. Keeps crashing, and very frustrating.

Local 12 Weather. Great place to get information fast !!

Weather Radar. Check it regularly to get future weather to help plan my day

Never right.. WCPO and Fox 19 are way more accurate.

What‘s with the caption?. So I try to watch John Gumm’s weather report and what’s this covering part of the screen? (this is on my iphone by the way so not much screen) Closed caption for the hearing impaired. Guess I’d be glad if I were hearing impaired...BUT I AM NOT! I combed through the app to see if I could shut it off. NOPE! Nowhere to be found. So I close it out. Then thought maybe I should check again to see if it was a fluke. NOPE! This time it’s even worse. Looks like someone who has no idea where the proper keys are on the keyboard. Very annoying! Please! Please! Please! Give us an option to select out of closed caption. Let me decide if I want it or not. This was not there this morning when I watched the morning report. 2 stars because it needs to go. November 4, 2020 So I need to update this review. Thank you for removing the closed caption. But would someone please update the weather video in a timely manner. I wanted to watch the 5:30p weather update but what they had up was the noon report. It’s 11:00p so I’d like to see the 10:00 report. This is getting worse on this app. Plus Tera’s morning report is so short that if you blink you miss it completely. April 26,2021 Ok, so I am back. This weather app just seems to get worse and worse. Now Tera’s morning report is 30 seconds or less. At least the previous ones were close to 90 seconds. And all she does is give the temps and if it’s supposed to rain or not. And then the later weather reports have the meteorologist in tiny little boxes with what appears to be a spotlight on their faces that washes them out. They all sound like they are in tin cans. Come on! Get it together and just go back to showing a regular weather report. Whoever is responsible should be fired! Just don’t bring back the closed caption for everyone! STOP MESSING WITH THIS APP! It was great before! October 21, 2021 Stay tuned!! MAY 2022 The app is much better. Not sure what was done but it’s better. The one irritating issue is the commercials. You can’t rotate the screen until they are finished. Not a huge issue, just a little irritating. SEPTEMBER 4,2023…this app crashes A LOT! I was watching what appeared to the dinner time weather update with Karaline when suddenly it crashes. What is going? I checked to make sure it didn’t need an update…it does not The previous issues, except not being able to rotate the screen until the commercial is done, seem to have been addressed. Thank you. Thursday, 26 Oct 2023…CRASH! CRASH!! CRASH!! OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! ALMOST EVERY TIME I USE THIS APP IT CRASHES. OH WAIT…EVERY TIME I USE THIS APP IT CRASHES!!! DOES ANYONE EVER READ THESE REVIEWS?

Ads?. The app isn’t horrible, a little bit slow but not bad. It used to not have any ads before you watched the 3 minute weather, why is there ads for such a short video. I have seen along time ago they would mess up the editing of the videos and sometimes it wouldn’t be weather, but now ads before a 3 minute video. I’ll stay with the garbage weather app on my I phone.

Crippled version of IPhone app. Can't believe that the iPad app can be so inferior to the IPhone app. Do they think iPad users are stupid or just don't care? Really sad.

Update. After I updated my weather app to the newest version when I click on the icon it doesn’t come up anymore I have to turn my phone off and back on for the app to open

Annoying. It’s not a horrible app. But it’s very annoying that it keeps asking me to allow the app to use my location. I can see it asking once then go on. But it asks to use my location almost daily. Which gets even more annoying when I have the app on two devices. If it don’t stop it will be deleted.

Great app. Love this app follows me we’re ever I go or travel too!! So easy to use ! Great for severe weather alerts!! This is the best weather app in the Cincinnati area. Thank you channel 12 for your great service to Cincinnati.

Very good app!. I really like the layout of this app and like the type of radar you use; it seems more detailed than others out there. TWC blew it when they integrated past AND future radar together. Also, it would be nice to be able to change the speed of the radar (I prefer it a bit slower). My only (small) complaint is on the daily forecast, it would be nice if the sun & clouds were in color & not just all shades of gray & white. It makes it seems like every day is going to be blah. Seeing a bright yellow sun in a forecast gives me a happier outlook!

So so. Sometimes the app is dependable and other times it updates the rain chances after the rain has already hit. Not a very reliable weather app.

WKRC weather app. 01/31/21 Why would not you have widget for your app? It would be so convenient and useful. Please consider it. 05/25/19 - I just have to write the review for the app and give it 5 stars. Did you change the developers? After latest update (May 25), the app is like brand new, all redone. No more problems with changing from portrait mode to landscape mode, the past-future play is so convenient... thank you. Good job indeed. Hopefully the same developers will redo news app for local 12. That one is still not very good, works only in portrait mode and buggy.

Buggy Radar. The weather radar is buggy, glitchy, and slow. I’m going to try my luck with another weather app.

Latest version crosses my “line”. I have used this app for some years now. Really like the content. I probably open this app 15-20 times each day. Sadly, the latest version (late January 2021) crosses my line of minimum acceptability, making it unbearable (for me). The new feature that just goes “too far” is a big banner of advertisement that appears a fraction of a second after the background of the home screen first appears. Then, nothing else appears for about 5-7 seconds, after which the app’s useful options appear. Essentially, I now have to wait an additional 5 seconds EVERY time I open the app, during which period, the ONLY thing I see is an advertisement. My time’s too valuable. Bye bye, app. Going elsewhere. Too bad.

Flashing map is irritating!. Not sure why this happens but often the map quickly flashes on and off (still or in-motion modes). Very annoying and only started within the last year I believe!

Needs a widget. Ok but would be better if it incorporated a widget for quick current conditions.

Similar to another local weather app. This is similar to the fox 19 app. The old interface was better. I would enjoy if you can make it similar to the whio weather app. That is set up beautifully.

Reliable. WKRC weather app is easy to navigate. Compliments the TV coverage. Find it to be as reliable as any weather report. We have an RV 60 miles from our resident and checking the weather in an other city is very helpful

Weather Authority. The weather team is wonderful in getting their predictions correct; take time to have fun during their portion of the broadcast; love how they work together during bad storms especially in the winter; the newbies do a good job w/o seeming nervous. All in all, great to watch them in action.

Confusing App. The “map” showing radar is about the most inaccurate I’ve seen. Shows precipitation that often doesn’t occur ( rain) and often shows clear radar when it actually is raining. Can look at this app and shows clear, then go to weather channel and it shows all kinds of precipitation. I don’t get it ?

Recent update. The update to this app has rendered it useless. Please bring back the old version!!!

Snowfall overlay BIG fail. I'm a teacher with a 60 min. commute and needed an app which included predicted snowfall via radar (i.e. reliable data). This app consistently shows radar clouds as purple swaths which, according to the key, is 36" of snow! The LIGHTEST amount of purple indicates 18" of snow. I was panicking on Jan 15th because the app also showed a severe winter weather warning which led me to believe we were indeed getting 18"-36" snow. However, all other weather reports predicted 2" snow, which turned out to be accurate. Totally useless to me. FIX THE SNOW OVERLAY

Weather my a—. These guys couldn’t tell the weather if they were standing in it.

Radar. Map view does not give me the option to choose past radar only future radar.

get off. i give this one star beacuse it is downloading on my mac book and is taking up all my space and i have tried to undownload it and it won't go away please get off my mac book especially since its not supposed to be here thanks jerry

Scrolling equals fail. Switched to a vastly different UI and it is definitely not user friendly. I am switching to a different weather app after posting this review. You can’t just leave a good thing alone, can you? Fail.

Weather app. The radar feature constantly freezes or doesn’t work. Only way to get it to work is turn phone off then back on or delete app and reinstall it.

I miss the news part of the APP!!!. What happened? One day, I try to read my daly news when I instead, get a message that directs me to this app and states that my current channel 12 app will no longer be supported. I am very dissatisfied. I would love to have the news part of the app back.

Crash. Since the July 10 update it will not open, keeps crashing

Not close to accurate. App says it’s 76° and sunny...it’s in the mid 60’s and pouring buckets. Thought maybe the app needed updating. Did the update, still says 76° and sunny. What a joke.

Nice Upgrade!. Like the new home screen radar but where is the local 12 news app?????

Needs fixed. Used to be a great app. I don’t know what’s happened or changed? I have tried deleting and reinstalling a few times but the radar specifically, always wants to glitch. I have a couple better consistent apps now like WLWT 5, and MyRadar.
