Mediocre at best. Why would I use CNN for Weather app? This app has nothing for me.

Straightforward and Useful. Installed and account set up. I like it! Loads quickly and I can see the three things I want most: 1. Temperature for the next few hours 2. Week at a glance temperature outlook 3. Daily details and forecasts of temp, dew point, humidity, wind and gusts, sun and moon rise and set, etc. Great app! — I just noticed… this app addresses my number one pet peeve: many apps show the “overnight low” which is actually the next day (without disclosing) instead of showing that day’s forecast low. On this app, Friday’s forecast low is correctly shown on Friday morning, not Thursday.

Widget option. Please add widget option so I can replace it native weather app widget

Beautiful, clean app. The app is visually stunning and easy to use. It feels calm and informative, which is just how I like my weather info.

Not good on iPad. I can’t put this app on my phone, because I have an Android phone and the app is IOS-only. The display of information on my iPad is useless, the window on my screen is too small and doesn’t fill the full screen (why make the display look like a phone screen, it’s not a phone). And it’s not clear how to navigate for information.

Better than the others…. Clean, crisp, up to date, and better than the other guys. Please cnn don’t get rid of it

Almost Worthless. I love CNN but this app isn’t comparable to most legitimate weather apps. No radar, unable to save locations, big ad in middle = no need for another worthless app.

The weather radar is very neat. I like how easily it can render full global radar and satellite projections!

Maybe too soon. Attempted to download the application and the password recognition would never sync. Perhaps another trip to the drawing board.

Great but needs widgets. This has potential to be one of, if not the, best free weather app out there. Adding widget capabilities will go a long way

Love the Format. I love this app! I already have 3 Wx apps on my phone, but this is my new favorite. It’s so clean and easy to use. Love the radar where you can see not just precipitation, but wind, etc. And even the articles and photos at the bottom are great. Very clean and easy to use! Thank you! PS I have never written a review for an app, but I was moved to do so for this!

Has potential, but not ready to use yet. I was looking forward to this app, but disappointed to see that it doesn’t adjust to the iPAD screen format. A tall narrow iPhone screen on my iPad doesn’t work for me. There also needs to be a setting to prevent auto-launching videos. This is a deal-breaker for me. Am deleting the app for now, but will check back periodically and if updates address these two issues, will try it again.

Clean design with informative content. Love the minimal look of the landing page. The information that I need is quickly available. The videos and stories at the bottom are fun to go through, wish there was more.

The Best. Love this, easy to see the daily weather and the week ahead. Includes radar which is so helpful. The articles and weather photography are very cool!

Love this app!. Love this app! The weather summaries are really helpful and I’m not spammed with ads!

Account needed?. Why is this app requiring an account to spit out information that it should be able to provide based on location, which it also collects (for obvious reasons)? Sorry, but as soon as I downloaded the app and ran into that demand for an account I deleted the app. I won’t be using it. I don’t see the point. I can always use a free app and ask it to tag a certain location as my home area with no need for an account.

Does not work!. Downloaded and crashed upon opening. Rebooted phone and still crashed. I have IOS 26.5.

Almost Perfect. Great app. But could use a couple improvements. When you go into the detailed forecast, it shows you hour by hour for the next two days. Would be nice to have an option to view the full day and night like the rest of the week. Also in detailed mode, would be helpful to see weather icons along the top, so you don’t have to tap into each day to see what the weather will be.

Loving but want a widget. loving this app a LOT! sooo much better than the apple weather app or the weather channel app. my only ask is to create the CNN weather app Widget for my home screen, that’s one of the most convenient features of the other two weather apps but i want cnn weather!!!! hopefully they can add in the next update!

Address. Dos not give me the right address here in Florida it tells me i am in Oxford Florida but i am in the village of Florida that is the only thing i do not like about the new app if we could fix that it would be nice

What app?. App hangs when I try to open it and the help link returns a denied access message. What gives?

App is for tracking you. I was excited to try the new CNN Weather app. I have all of my apps set to ‘share location only when using’ because I don’t want to be tracked all the time. The CNN Weather App has pop ups on the iPhone asking me to change the ‘location sharing to always’. Even when I am not using the app I get popups asking me to change location data. Every two hours my iPhone will stop working until I answer either keep sharing settings as is or allow sharing all the time. I had to delete the app just to use my iPhone.

Nice app. Love the photography and videos! Would love to see AQI at the top. It’s a must.

Can’t find Hong Kong or Singapore. It’s not able to find Hong Kong or Singapore!

Clean looking app. Radar zooms out to the globe. I like the aesthetics of this weather app. Being able to zoom the radar out to the entire planet is awesome

Questionable Approach to Notificiations. Receiving a notification for tornado warning in Kansas. Didn’t receive one for the thunderstorm in the place I actually live. Pretty app, it’s designed well - but not very helpful.

‘Feels Like’ a winner!. Beautifully designed and intuitive to use, and finally a weather app that prioritizes the feels like temperature (you know, the one that actually matters).

Account required? Delete…. I saw an announcement about this new weather app so I thought I would give it a try. After a few questions about what location services I wanted to allow access to, I was prompted to create a mandatory account to see the weather. Nope. Sorry. Not happening… Even a simple Google search will give me a rough idea of the weather for my current area without logging into something…

Great app!. This is a fantastic addition to my iPhone and the way critical weather information is presented in such a clean and informative way is great! I think the app could benefit from iOS Home Screen widgets, for at-a-glance use.

Prettiest. I use several weather apps. This is definitely the most attractive weather app but falls short with a shortage of detailed information and data. Great app for a quick glance of current weather.

Doesn’t Open. Crashes immediately. I was in the Test Flight group and had the same issue. What is the point anyway, there are apps that do weather just fine. Probably an effort by the new hard-right ownership to collect data on people. Just another evil nepobaby toy. Update: gets worse every day.

My New Favorite Weather App. Love all the features

Displays poorly on my iPad. Only uses half the screen on max screen. Uninspiring display with misplaced fonts
