Fun for awhile. This game was pretty fun for the first 2-300 levels, albeit having to wait a lot on ads to play in order to progress past the limiting turns. However I reached a point where the app was randomly launching a fake “virus scanner” spam popup website in Safari on each level even without me clicking on anything. Very annoying and led me to delete the app.

It was fun. I truly loved the game and the diverse puzzles. However, being forced to watch an ad or possibly spend money in order to beat the level, I am not doing!!! Why do games keep doing this when it makes them lose people? Games are already making money from ads being shown. Why lose people on top of that due to these other issues?

Okay but get ready to buy coins. It was a fun puzzle until I got to level 45 that cannot be won without buying coins to get special helps. I want a game that can be won by skill, not buy having to spend money. My only choice now is to delete it because I’m not spending money for a “free” game.

This game is super relaxing super fun and there r a ton of levels a couple ads but not much and it’s EXACTLY how it is in the ads but better the graphics are great the levels are fun and some r challenging but overall its a really great game and I would definitely recommend it

Used to love this app. I really enjoy this game and play it regularly. But now I’m pretty much done. They’ve taken away the ability to watch ads for power ups. Now you have to pay for them. Not going to do it. If I don’t get the ability to watch ads for power ups back, I’m done. I’ve gotten too far in the game to pass levels without at least adding a box. This feels like a bait and switch and there are other wool raveling games.

Like it except the sudden security warning. I enjoy this one compared to the others. The amount of ads is not unreasonable. Plus, this game will let you see the color underneath a selection. My problem with this app (and this was the second time it happened) around level 24, suddenly a mcafee scan will run and tell me that my iPhone is comprised and to renew my subscription. I think this is a bug of some sort… but i basically plan to delete the app out of caution.

Good game but disappointing. I liked this game enough to purchase the no ads feature. However that apparently removed the OPTION to watch an add to receive an extra box or drill hole etc…. So now too help me with levels I’d have to spend more money to do it. The other disappointment is that it makes no sense for the game to end after you use the last hole if you have a move left to use. What’s the point of having it there when the only reason to use it is to end the level. Leaves no chance and it’s frustrating. Fix those two issues and I’ll give it a higher rating

Money Pit. Don’t spend any money on this app. If you pay to remove ads between games, they also take away your ability to earn tools by watching ads, which means they expect you to pay for extra coins & tools which they charge ridiculous amounts to use. If you purchase anything in this app, just know that you have paid to stop playing or paid to keep paying.

Don’t download if you’re not ready to play!. This game is so satisfying! I want to play it all the time. It’s definitely addicting. So just be ready. The main thing that bothers me is all the ads. I might upgrade one day and pay the fee because of how often I play it. Big fan!

Buyer Beware. I really enjoyed this game to start and decided to pay the no ads in support. Big mistake. The second you purchase it’s designed to get you to spend more. I’m now stuck at a level for days I cant get past. I used up the little coins and perks I had. It used to let you watch an ad for things like more space, but my only option is to add more coins and spend money to get past it. Also why does it say you failed if you fill the last spindle? I can understand if no colors left to fill a basket but sometimes you fill it and it reveals a color that could complete a basket. Only a few days later and totally regret this game.

One of the better yarn/wool apps, but has opportunities. This has fewer ads than some of the others, and I like how you can preview what the next color is before uncovering it. I just deleted it in frustration, because if you leave the app mid-game, it restarts and you fail the last level. This then sets you back in your challenges, which is super frustrating. Also, it kept sending me to Safari for an ad in the middle of the game for no reason (I wasn’t trying to watch an ad for extras or anything). Spent too much time playing anyway, so it’s just as well.

Great game. This is an awesome game! Only have 1 major complaint keeping me from 5 stars. There is a 5th slot to discard the color and using it immediacy ends the level. Why have it if that’s the case. If I can open up a color with that slot then let me play it

Love this game, but I feel cheated. After level 300 or so, I finally shelled out the $7.99 to get rid of the forced ads with the promise that I could keep optional ads for power ups. Turns out, I only had the option to increase coins and get an extra life. No ads for N extra box, no power ups, no revival, nothing. I can only get them if I spend coins now. There’s no way to win 50 levels in a row without using those at least some times, so, I have to spend even more money if I want to beat that challenge. If you’re better at the game than I am and don’t need those power ups, I’m sure you won’t even notice, but it was extremely disappointing for me to realize. And now I have to either lose constantly or go back to the god awful ads

My favorite unwind game. I enjoyed the play through of this game and decided to give the full game a week. I’m hooked! The ads are minimal compared to other free games which I love. I play it more when I’m stressed and want to “unwind” - no timers allow me to play at my leisure. The puzzles are cute and the colors are calming. I’ve encountered no technical issues. My husband saw me playing and got interested enough that he downloaded the game himself. This game is for all ages.

Forced to buy. This game is so much fun and addicting. The problem is, once you buy buttons, you can no longer use adds to help level up. I don’t have money to spend every two seconds, for games. It would be nice to still be able to view ads as a means of leveling up. Instead now bc of one beginning pack purchase, I am forced to continue buying buttons if I want to play and since I don’t have the kind of money on the regular, I can’t play this game anymore. Sad that I have to delete. 🫤

Random shut downs. I like the game, it is very relaxing. However, it repeatedly randomly shuts down - right in the middle of a game. It completely ruins my win streak in the competition, & I have to start all over from one win again. Otherwise, I love the game.

The best game ever!!!!!. This is an awesome game if you want to have a break there is some adds after each level but there short so I think it’s fine. Sometimes i get a panic attack cause i’m excited to see what color is next after getting the yarn it’s actually what the add says and show and it’s awesome how it doesn’t lie to you definitely try it.

It’s a chill game. I like the game but the annoying part is when they introduce a new tool they prompt you to use the tool to see how it’s used and then they take away the tool that they gave you. I think it’s pretty standard, but yes, you show us how to use it, but you also leave us the tool to actually use🙃 that seems like a pretty small, but disappointing feature of the game!

Great Game but DON’T buy the Remove Ads Bundle. I have enjoyed this app, and found it the most reasonable to play version of yarn sorting/knitting games. I really like the design. In an effort to support the app makers I went ahead and purchased the remove ads bundle, and I sincerely wish I hadn’t. I thought I’d still have the option of choosing to buy tools/boxes with the in game currency OR by watching an ad, and simply remove the ads that automatically pop up when you complete a level. Nope, I’m now screwed and can either delete and no longer play the game because most levels are unworkable without the extra tools/boxes or I can pay more money for the in game currency or items, which I refuse to do. So if you’re looking for a well ordained and fun yarn spring app, this is a good fit, but DON’T buy the remove ads bundle because it makes the game unplayable. So disappointed, I wish I could remove that purchase from my account, the publisher can key the money, but I’m sad I won’t be able to enjoy this lowly game anymore.

Is there a glitch. This game is great, and I’ll purchase the no ads when I get paid, but I’m suddenly unable to watch videos to revive, is this new or happens when I get more into the levels, it’s annoying when you have to keep a streak and don’t have the money to pay for it…

Malware Virus. The game is priced too high to remove ads. That being said it was fun and a good way to unwind and kill time. However, a few weeks ago their game got infected with malware. Tried contacting the developers but they blame it on the ads. Well then run better ads on your app. It’s clearly something that has infested the game they need to look at their servers. It’s been going on for weeks. Deleting the app due to this unaddressed issue as I am not interested in getting malware from this mindless game.

Scareware redirect. This was a fun game, with many opportunities to watch an ad to revive or add a box. Some of the colors are very similar in shade, which was challenging. I was really enjoying it until I kept being redirect to Safari for a fake Macafee “virus scan”. It was happening 5+ times in one level of game play. This is only app it was happening with, so it’s been deleted and I’ll look for a competitor that hasn’t been infected with Scareware.

Fun until you get to a higher level. I fell in love with this game. I contemplated buying the ad free version until I read the reviews so I left it with watching ads for revivals as that option is taken away with paying for no ads. I am now at level 338 and no longer have the option to watch an ad and the level is near impossible to pass. I’ll be deleting the app as I didn’t want another game to sink money into in order to pass levels.

They make you pay to win level 14. I am so repulsed by this game. My sweet girlfriend loved this game until she got to level 14. I never want to see the number 14 ever again after this godforsaken game. It is impossible to win without using coins. And she didn’t have enough coins because we thought if you bought a new space it would stay. But NO it’s only for one level. This is outrageous and I immediately suggest you change this.

Fun until it wasn’t. I really enjoyed this game until lives wouldn’t reload. One day it said I had 20 minutes until lives would reload but I could get 1 life by watching an ad, which I did. However no life loaded. The next day, I had 0 lives, meaning the lives that should have loaded the previous day never did. I also watched an ad again with the promise of getting 1 life but it didn’t happen.

No more free rewards. Very disappointed as this was my new favorite game and was even considering buying the ad free version to support the game. I am glad I did not! Now, the option to watch an ad to either revive the current game or get an extra box for an additional color is completely gone. Now the only way to do that is to have earned enough buttons or purchase buttons. If you don’t have enough buttons then you are out of options to complete those more difficult levels unless you cave to being forced to spend money. And you can’t earn buttons unless you complete the levels. I sadly am not going to go down this route of spending money over and over again, as they obviously want people to do. So I will be switching to another similar game.

Unable to mute any ad. The reason for 2 stars is that EVERY SINGLE AD has no mute button. I play the game without music or sounds so I can either listen to my music or the TV, but none of the ads respect my choice for muted sound. The game was calming until I got to the ad and then it would just frustrate me. Half of the ads made reporting the issue almost impossible and would redirect me to the internet several times per ad. After a few days of putting up with the ad issues, I finally had enough and deleted the game.

Don’t Buy Ad Free Version. I paid for the ad free version so that when I complete a section I can continue without having to watch an ad, what it doesn’t tell you is that it also no longer offers you ads to continue on if you need an extra square during a game, the only option is to use 900 coins and if u don’t have any coins then u have to pay actual money, so you waste your money buying the ad free version, this is the only game that penalizes you for buying the ad free version, also what is the point of the last peg if you lose your turn once you use it, I can see if I don’t have another move to make but once u use it that’s it which makes absolutely no sense.

Fun but frustrating. I recently just downloaded this game and it is very fun and challenging. I do love playing it. One thing I CANT STAND, when I’m playing the game and I go out of it then back in even know I’m in the middle of the game it closes the game and I have to start all over again. That really frustrates me! If possible can you please change that so that doesn’t happen. I do enjoy your game, that’s the other issue I have with it.

Finally Driven Away. Enjoyed this as an unwind for a week or so, and would have preferred to continue. Fun and a bit challenging in a phone-app kind of way. In app ads can be a little heavy (used for gaining “rewards” to get you out of a tight spot), but that’s understandable. Finally had to ditch it today, though, after it opened my browser in mid-level over half a dozen times in a short session. Ads between levels or that I take on willingly for a “reward” I can deal with. Six Mcafee scam ads popping up on my browser over the course of a few minutes? Hope it’s worth the revenue, guys.

Used to be fun. This game without a doubt has the longest ads of any game and it doesn’t have a countdown. Since an update you no longer have the ability to watch an ad to try again. That means unless you purchase things you will most likely have to do the same challenge over and over and over again which is a waste of time and feels like you made zero progress. If this is not a glitch and remains in the game, I will delete it because I don’t have a million years to do each challenge and hope that I can finally solve it. I would also never pay any money for this game. I would have given it 4 stars before because of the ads but am changing it to 2 stars because it is fun. When you can actually solve something. There are other games like this.

I’m sad do delete this. I have been playing this game for quite a while, I got to level 132, and now sometimes when I click on yarn I get a “anti virus” pop up. Deeply saddened. Another user on here mentioned that one of the companies that runs ads on the game, must have created a virus. The game also had a ton of ads, and I’m not gonna pay to escape them. I am parting ways with this game today, and will download a different yarn collecting game.

Optional Ad Feature Removed and Virus Pop-Up Ads. I play this game every day. Suddenly, without warning, the “watch an ad” option to obtain an extra yarn box (amongst other things) was removed. Also, there are “virus” ads that pop-up during gameplay that take you to a different screen which you have to x out of then physically return to the game. What was once an enjoyable game is now aggravating.

Do NOT pay for no ads!. I enjoy this game, so I paid to remove the ads (which I always feel is a nice way to support a game I like). I feel like I got penalized for paying!! Paying for ads removes the option to watch an ad to revive. I think that’s stupid. Most games still let you watch an ad if you want a certain reward. I wish I could go back to not having paid, which makes no sense that they would design it that way. It’s a shame, because out of the few yarn removal games I’ve tried, this one was the best by far.

Virus!!!!. This game is extremely fun, however, there is now some sort of virus attached to the game. An “virus blocking” ad randomly opens up in Safari while in the middle of game play. My guess is that one of the ads that Knit Away has used on their site, has created this virus. Extremely saddened by this. I will be using a different knitting game from here on out

No longer fun just costly. Really liked this game and played all the time. A recent update took away the option to watch an ad for a booster and now the only option is to pay coins. Considering how expensive the boosters are and how slowly you gain coins, obviously they want you to buy the coins with real money. I don’t mind spending real money on games I like but this would become excessive with how many boosters you need to pass a level. Thought I found the perfect, relaxing game but now I won’t play unless this is fixed.

No more ad boosters. I’ve enjoyed playing this game but in the last couple of days it took away my ability to gain a booster by watching an ad. It keeps telling me that if I buy the ad-free version, I can still watch ads to get boosters, but I don’t want to have to buy the ad-free version to have this option.

Fun game!. I have tried other similar games, and this is the only one I’ve found where you can often complete the level without having to watch an ad to get a booster. I also love being able to touch and hold on a piece to see the color of the piece beneath; that’s a very nice feature!

Not fair play. I have played level 52 prob 50 times and I suspect the computer is cheating & making it impossible for me to win. Each time I play the colors and combinations are different and it is not a consistent play, so it’s like the color of the box appears is calculated based on however my game is set currently and for me to lose. Downloaded a few days ago, Paid $12 to go ad free and purchased the golden ticket, and will now be deleting since it doesn’t feel like a fair game.

Might have a virus. I really enjoyed this game but had to uninstall it because I was playing yesterday and every time I clicked on yarn to unravel it, it brought up this virus scan thing and it worried me that it might have one so I deleted it. If I can be reassured that it was checked and is clean I will download it again.

Don’t pay for NO ADS. It will cost you more money and be less enjoyable. Usually You get an ad to receive coins for each game won and you can also choose an ad to get a power up. But if you buy the No Ads you can only use coins for the power ups and don’t have the option to choose an ad if you don’t have the money. The only way to play then is to buy more coins. I am ok with buying but not with a game that you need to pay to do the basic things.

Already paid. I was really enjoying playing then….. when I played the game before I paid for ad free I was able to watch an add to revive the level. Now I can pay 900 coins or replay. Also I really don’t like that you have to pay if you want to quit the game. I’m sorry that I paid for the game

fun for five minutes. I saw an ad for the game (ironic considering this review) and decided to give it a shot. It was gen fun for a few minutes, maybe until level twenty or so, but after that you need to watch ads to even have a shot of getting through each level. I understand an ad every once and a while, it’s needed for free ads and it’s just how it is, but the amount of ads you need to watch just for a single level to be semi playable is just ridiculous. Definitely not a game i’d recommend, and likely won’t remember after a few days.

hot, low battery. i came here to see if anyone else was having this problem incase it was just my phone. i did end up seeing another review similar to mine. I really do enjoy this game and have no “bug” issues within the app. my only complaint is that my phone gets extremely hot from playing and it drains my battery percentage. i’ve never had that happen with any other app i’ve ever used/downloaded. As much as enjoy the game i am going to have to uninstall the app because i am afraid for my phone to be damaged. thank you

Removed optional ads after paying. I really enjoyed this game, enough to pay for no ads but shortly after doing that I am now unable to get a box by watching an ad! Essentially they removed optional ads after I paid. It’s now impossible to get another box without paying money, whereas before I could just watch an ad. Thought it was a glitch but saw another review that said the same thing. How cheap

Really great. The best of its kind! Most of these style games force you to watch multiple ads just pass the level. While this does have a short ad between each level, all the levels are passable without watching more ads.

Simple addictive fun. This is a surprisingly addictive game! You can play easily without having to pay for play. There are a LOT of long ads but when you accept it and know there’s many “commercial breaks” you get used to it. It’s a great game but $12 to go as free is pretty steep. Good stress relief and I love that you can play many rounds for enjoyment and not habit too hard after 15 rounds so the developer can make you feel stupid and more stressed! Reasonable privacy policy also and that’s always my first look. Thanks!

Don’t pay to remove ads!. I made the mistake of paying to remove the ads only to get stuck forever at the level I’m on unless I’m willing to purchase coins. Removing ads eliminates the ability to watch an ad to continue playing. You are forced to start over. That was a very sneaky way to screw over those willing to spend money on the game.

Fun game but…. This game is very fun but the fact that I have to finish a board before I do anything else, because it will not save my progress, is crazy. I need to answer a call and my progress is gone. Please do something about this otherwise it’s too frustrating to keep playing. I lose just because I need to do something else real quick? That’s silly.

Ability to watch ads keeps disappearing. Such a great game but the ability to watch an ad for revive disables itself and it makes it very frustrating to play.

Ads glitch broke game. Great game except for latest patch. Now you watch ads however it gets stuck on this one pace and doesn’t finish ad. So you never progress

Changing features. I enjoy this game BUT a few times now the ability to revive on a level by watching an ad just disappears for a few days. This makes it very difficult to finish levels and generally enjoy the game during this time. Is this a game glitch or something user related? It seems to disappear and reappear randomly.

Boring and Expensive. Tedious, laborious animation. Was already bored by level 10. They want $20 for that? Big thumbs down for me. Not even worth for free. Deleted.

Punished for paying. I play this game a lot, like a lot and bought a gold pass. Problem is it removed my ability to watch ads for boosters etc. Had to delete as a result.

Stop the long adds. I really enjoy this game but the adds make it almost unplayable. I can’t deal with the constant 60 second workout/ weight loss adds what I have to click close on 4 different pop ups. I don’t want to go to the App Store! The weight loss adds and the add at the end of every game with no option to skip it too much!!!

Like excited for one thing. I like this game but it drives me insane that the game says I lose when I have the spare slots full but there is a move I can make onto the boards I’m trying to fill. Please fix this, the game should end when I am out of moves not just cuz the spare slots are full. There is not point the last spare spot if the game is just gonna end when I fill it.

Too many ads. If it wasn’t for the fact that there are ads after each level, I would actually enjoy playing the game.

Good to start but then annoying. I really liked it to start, but reached a point where it was impossible to pass a level without spending money. I’m good with ads to make up for that, but it’s the same stupid ad with the mother and daughter and I’m sick of it, so just needed to delete and move on.

Disappointed. This game is fun & is actually like the ads for a change. I had to give 1 star because having a 30-60 second ad after every game makes it unplayable. Unfortunately I had to delete it.

Not a “free” game at all. Fun game until you get to the levels that are impossible to beat without spending money. Definitely one of those games that force you to pay to play. And not even a couple bucks here and there either, it’s expensive. Not even close to worth it.

Frustrated. Where is the option to continue to play if you watch an ad. Some levels are impossible to finish without this option. The game is addictive and fun but without this option it’s not fun anymore.

Unwinnable levels. Eventually you will hit a level that is not winnable without paying for power ups. You can play it hundreds of times and never win unless you pay.

ADS, ADS,ADS. The positive reviews are paid for/false. Game is fine but repetitive. After several levels to get you sucked in, you must either buy a lot of coins or watch a million ads to complete any level. Even if you are willing to watch ads, they are the long ones. Then, they glitch. So, if you already spent time watching 4-5 ads, the next ad sticks so you can’t pass the level and have to start watching all over again.

Long adds. The time spent watching adds is longer than the gameplay. Find another game that is similar!

Too many ads. Also when you complete a level, there is an option to claim a reward increase it. It never lets me just claim it, then makes me watch another ad. When I tap to get extra reward, it rips me off and I don’t get all the “buttons” it says I’m going to get

2 minute ads. I like the game but having two minute ads is utterly ridiculous

Don’t buy ad free. If you get ad free, you can’t watch ads to get extra boxes or power ups or whatever and so you get stuck. There are some levels that are just impossible to beat without spending money if you buy ad free.

Need to use the tools to win. Before the latest update, I could beat multiple levels without needed any of the tools, but now I can’t seem to win even the “easy” levels without them. Which means I need to purchase coins with money or watching ads. Now ads are at least a minute long AND they limit the number of times you can choose to watch ads which means I’d need to buy coins. Frustrating.

Fifth spool issue. I love the game itself but the issue with the 5th spool makes me so angry that I bumped it down the three stars. The game is basically over after 4 spools, so just either remove the 5th spool or make it hold thread. The game is addicting - that extra spot that does nothing just wastes extra time. It’s either a glitch or they are just trying to log additional time in the game without any benefit to the player.

Give, then take away.. I had previously downloaded this app and deleted it. Now I remember why. The owners give you a booster, one booster. Then they force you use it to show you how it works. Most of us have played many versions of this type of game, trust me owners, we know how they work. You don’t need to show us. So remember folks, what they give, they take away. Yes it may be fun, but they don’t care, unless of course, you purchase more boosters to replace those that they forced you to use.

SURPRISED!!!!!!!. This game surprised me. That sentiment alone is big for me. A lot of the times I tend to download games but by level two it’s boring and very repetitive. I highly recommend playing this game. I know you will enjoy it and won’t be able to stop playing. Just try one level. No big

Random shut downs. I like the game, it is very relaxing. However, it repeatedly randomly shuts down - right in the middle of a game. It completely ruins my win streak in the competition, & I have to start all over from one win again. Otherwise, I love the game.

Pay for ad free, but they still want $. I really liked this game up until I hit level 270 without enough coins, and no way to get more without paying. Most games have something they give you ( like daily allowance ) so maybe you can eventually move on, but not this one. First time I’ll probably delete a game I actually paid for.

You will pay if you want to get off a level. Worst game I have played. It cheats by only giving you boxes of a color not on the screen at all. You’ll play an easy level longer than any of the hard levels as a result. The game will force you to pay to get off a level as you’ll be so sick of playing the same image 20 times. Some levels take a significant amount of time to play. Absolute cheat and manipulative game

Okay but get ready to buy coins. It was a fun puzzle until I got to level 45 that cannot be won without buying coins to get special helps. I want a game that can be won by skill, not buy having to spend money. My only choice now is to delete it because I’m not spending money for a “free” game.

Don’t download if you’re not ready to play!. This game is so satisfying! I want to play it all the time. It’s definitely addicting. So just be ready. The main thing that bothers me is all the ads. I might upgrade one day and pay the fee because of how often I play it. Big fan!

It was fun. I truly loved the game and the diverse puzzles. However, being forced to watch an ad or possibly spend money in order to beat the level, I am not doing!!! Why do games keep doing this when it makes them lose people? Games are already making money from ads being shown. Why lose people on top of that due to these other issues?

Something you could change…. I actually Rate it a 4.5 but smth you can’t change is when you unlock something you do get force to use it right away that makes players mad a lot if you change that your game will be even more popular! (Just saying😼)

Really great. The best of its kind! Most of these style games force you to watch multiple ads just pass the level. While this does have a short ad between each level, all the levels are passable without watching more ads.

Game freezes. I love this game but after playing a few minutes it freezes and then starts flashing. I have deleted it and restarted it and the same thing happens. Wish it could be fixed. Was just playing and it happened again. You have some kind of glitch or virus in the game.

Optional Ad Feature Removed and Virus Pop-Up Ads. I play this game every day. Suddenly, without warning, the “watch an ad” option to obtain an extra yarn box (amongst other things) was removed. Also, there are “virus” ads that pop-up during gameplay that take you to a different screen which you have to x out of then physically return to the game. What was once an enjoyable game is now aggravating.

Don’t pay for NO ADS. It will cost you more money and be less enjoyable. Usually You get an ad to receive coins for each game won and you can also choose an ad to get a power up. But if you buy the No Ads you can only use coins for the power ups and don’t have the option to choose an ad if you don’t have the money. The only way to play then is to buy more coins. I am ok with buying but not with a game that you need to pay to do the basic things.

Fun game but…. This game is very fun but the fact that I have to finish a board before I do anything else, because it will not save my progress, is crazy. I need to answer a call and my progress is gone. Please do something about this otherwise it’s too frustrating to keep playing. I lose just because I need to do something else real quick? That’s silly.

Crashes Constantly. I love this game so much but it crashes constantly! To add insult to injury, when it crashes, it takes one of your limited lives. I’m paying for ad free and various upgrade packs. Please fix the crashes so I can keep giving you my money. Otherwise I’m going to find a game that’s more stable.

I’m sad do delete this. I have been playing this game for quite a while, I got to level 132, and now sometimes when I click on yarn I get a “anti virus” pop up. Deeply saddened. Another user on here mentioned that one of the companies that runs ads on the game, must have created a virus. The game also had a ton of ads, and I’m not gonna pay to escape them. I am parting ways with this game today, and will download a different yarn collecting game.

Glitches. Game is fun and nice to play when you don’t wanna think about too much. However, it keeps glitching in the middle of me playing and it causes me to lose all progress made. Very frustrating when you are so close to a “prize” and because of a glitch you have to completely start over because it acts as if you lost the game.

Fun Game. The problem with this game is when I first got it you were able to revive your game if you watched a video. Now I no longer have that option and I’m stuck on a hard level. I’ve used all my helps. Other games give you the video option. I really like this game but I’m ready to delete it because I’ve been on the same level for ever.

Virus!!!!. This game is extremely fun, however, there is now some sort of virus attached to the game. An “virus blocking” ad randomly opens up in Safari while in the middle of game play. My guess is that one of the ads that Knit Away has used on their site, has created this virus. Extremely saddened by this. I will be using a different knitting game from here on out

Money Pit. Don’t spend any money on this app. If you pay to remove ads between games, they also take away your ability to earn tools by watching ads, which means they expect you to pay for extra coins & tools which they charge ridiculous amounts to use. If you purchase anything in this app, just know that you have paid to stop playing or paid to keep paying.

Fun for awhile. This game was pretty fun for the first 2-300 levels, albeit having to wait a lot on ads to play in order to progress past the limiting turns. However I reached a point where the app was randomly launching a fake “virus scanner” spam popup website in Safari on each level even without me clicking on anything. Very annoying and led me to delete the app.

Can’t get anywhere without spending $. This game is fun, very addicting. Until you get stuck playing the same level 100 times and can’t get anywhere without spending money to move forward. I have spent enough to progress in this game and it’s clear it is built so that you cannot move any further without spending more, as I have played this particular level upwards of 100 times and it’s the same outcome. Sad.

Need Colorblind Mode. All these games are very similar in the way they work. They’re fun, this one included. You end up watching a lot of ads when you get stuck. Of course, you can but packages to avoid them. I would rate it higher but no color blind mode so it gets hard to play.

No more ad boosters. I’ve enjoyed playing this game but in the last couple of days it took away my ability to gain a booster by watching an ad. It keeps telling me that if I buy the ad-free version, I can still watch ads to get boosters, but I don’t want to have to buy the ad-free version to have this option.

No longer fun just costly. Really liked this game and played all the time. A recent update took away the option to watch an ad for a booster and now the only option is to pay coins. Considering how expensive the boosters are and how slowly you gain coins, obviously they want you to buy the coins with real money. I don’t mind spending real money on games I like but this would become excessive with how many boosters you need to pass a level. Thought I found the perfect, relaxing game but now I won’t play unless this is fixed.

Once you pay they remove ads. I deleted the app after reaching level 27 because once I paid for extra coins it no longer gave me the option to view ads. This means once you pay for anything, it then only keeps asking you to pay more whether you want extra power or extra coins or extra life. That became frustrating and I could no longer play it.

Forced to buy. This game is so much fun and addicting. The problem is, once you buy buttons, you can no longer use adds to help level up. I don’t have money to spend every two seconds, for games. It would be nice to still be able to view ads as a means of leveling up. Instead now bc of one beginning pack purchase, I am forced to continue buying buttons if I want to play and since I don’t have the kind of money on the regular, I can’t play this game anymore. Sad that I have to delete. 🫤

Amount of ads is insane. Fun game but the sheer amount of ads is a huge turn off. Ads after EVERY level, even though the UI implies that you have a choice to skip it but there is no choice you must watch the ad to complete the level. Insanely tedious and annoyed me to the point of writing a review. Plus, another review said that ad free was a scam so save your money

Don’t pay to remove ads!. I made the mistake of paying to remove the ads only to get stuck forever at the level I’m on unless I’m willing to purchase coins. Removing ads eliminates the ability to watch an ad to continue playing. You are forced to start over. That was a very sneaky way to screw over those willing to spend money on the game.

Extortion. I paid to remove adds, and I regret it! It ends the game sooner by 1 move where if the holding bar is full, you won’t be able to click the color you need right there to fill the box because that bar is full!!!! Once you pay even the easy levels fail on you more and more to get your money out of you. This isn’t a game, it’s a frustration tank made you either force you to watch adds or pay more. I’ve been stuck on an “easy” level forever and I’ve had enough! DELETING!!!

Love it. I love this game… to an extent. I get frustrated that whenever I switch to a different app for more than 30 seconds it restarts the level i was in the middle of…. There’s got to be a way we can “pause” without losing progress every time we switch to a different app

This game is super relaxing super fun and there r a ton of levels a couple ads but not much and it’s EXACTLY how it is in the ads but better the graphics are great the levels are fun and some r challenging but overall its a really great game and I would definitely recommend it

No option to watch ad to revive new boxes. I really like this game, however they recently removed the option to watch an ad to unlock a new box or clear the board. I have to use coins now. I do not understand why that would have been removed, and I will not be paying for coins once I’m out. They will lose an avid player if this does not get fixed back to how it was before.

Might have a virus. I really enjoyed this game but had to uninstall it because I was playing yesterday and every time I clicked on yarn to unravel it, it brought up this virus scan thing and it worried me that it might have one so I deleted it. If I can be reassured that it was checked and is clean I will download it again.

It’s a chill game. I like the game but the annoying part is when they introduce a new tool they prompt you to use the tool to see how it’s used and then they take away the tool that they gave you. I think it’s pretty standard, but yes, you show us how to use it, but you also leave us the tool to actually use🙃 that seems like a pretty small, but disappointing feature of the game!

Being Punished. I purchased the ad free option but it made me lose the option of watching an ad for an extra box. Can we please get that feature back? I feel like I am being forced to spend more money just because I didn’t want to watch ads. I should still be able to have the option of watching an ad on those levels that you need a little extra help with!

Was fun until forced to pay to win. At level 45 it was no longer strategy. It became impossible to win without boosters which required watching ads or spending money. But they limit how many ads you can watch and you still couldn’t win. I’d rather pay a flat fee for a good app up front than pay money to win a game that’s impossible to win with my own brain. How stupid is that?

They make you pay to win level 14. I am so repulsed by this game. My sweet girlfriend loved this game until she got to level 14. I never want to see the number 14 ever again after this godforsaken game. It is impossible to win without using coins. And she didn’t have enough coins because we thought if you bought a new space it would stay. But NO it’s only for one level. This is outrageous and I immediately suggest you change this.

Used to love this app. I really enjoy this game and play it regularly. But now I’m pretty much done. They’ve taken away the ability to watch ads for power ups. Now you have to pay for them. Not going to do it. If I don’t get the ability to watch ads for power ups back, I’m done. I’ve gotten too far in the game to pass levels without at least adding a box. This feels like a bait and switch and there are other wool raveling games.

The $9.99 “Ad Free” version of this game is a LIE!. I liked this game enough that I was willing to spend $9.99 to get the “Ad Free” version of the game. I’ll be requesting a refund from Apple. The developers of this game are nothing but greedy liars. To be able to use certain tools in the “Ad Free” version I either have to pay MORE money, use points (that are accumulated very slowly) or WATCH an annoying ad! Don’t waste your money purchasing this game.

Removed optional ads after paying. I really enjoyed this game, enough to pay for no ads but shortly after doing that I am now unable to get a box by watching an ad! Essentially they removed optional ads after I paid. It’s now impossible to get another box without paying money, whereas before I could just watch an ad. Thought it was a glitch but saw another review that said the same thing. How cheap

Too Many Ads!. I love the actual game play. However, there are ads for everything. And ones you cannot close without closing the whole app. Yes you are given the option of paying $10 for ad free, but I just downloaded and started playing. Not sure I’m ready to commit but the content ads are driving me away faster than my interest to continue playing. Also, is it actually ad-free if I pay???

Fun game, responsive developer. I’d been enjoying the game for a few weeks when I came across a glitch. Working with the developer by providing screenshots and details of when it happens, they were able to quickly find the bug and fix it. VERY responsive!

I love this game!. My mom let me pick one game to add to my phone, and I chose this one! It had good reviews, good and fun ads, and I have no regrets! Sure, there are ads, but only for a few seconds each. Overall, such a great game!
