Tried all the options, but it’s junk. I tried Wall/surface scanning, I tried camera scanning, every option and it’s junk. I took it into an empty bedroom with literally just four walls in an almost square proportion and a little open side cubby for a closet space. It couldn’t “draw” the room accurately not one time. Once it actually just drew some kind of thin rectangle and told me the entire 20’x15’ room was only about 3 square meters! The tutorials barely give you any guidance, mostly trial and error attempts teach you anything. And the “drawing” that results from the auto scan methods is lumpen, the lines aren’t straight at all they look like I could have done better scribbling on a pad of graph paper freehand. I’m glad I didn’t pay to try this app out, it was total junk. If it can’t measure a simple square room accurately then what good would it be in other more complex layouts? Those demo videos must be doctored to look professional because this app did NOT work as advertised.

Another app destroyed by subscriptions. Ditch it. Can’t do wall heights and 3D without “annual subscription of $8.49.” Well, the original app was once cool and useful. Now you get 2D and pop-ups for more functionality. Oh how I long for and seek out the old model apps...here’s the features, buy the app, enjoy and be happy. Today, here’s everything, oh, but if you want to do that, $x.xx per year or month, and, oh, I’m sorry, you wanted to do this, that’s in our “pro” plan which is in our “pro” version for $y.yy per year.” Enough already!

Love this app!. I’ve been using it for years. Is great when you need quick dimensions in a pinch.

Absolute Junk. DON’T BUY EXPORT CREDITS. The export to dxf doesn’t export the window information or placement. The rooms don’t line up properly the photos are impossible to review and they have the audacity to charge for each individual export for one single room which doesn’t include all of the photos and notes. I’ve read the reviews and they are highly skewed in their favor which makes me suspect they are mostly fake as any other professional would have the same objections we do. This is a poorly developed and overhyped piece of rubbish software. It completely wasted our time measuring a remodel when we could have used our laser level and a piece of paper and gotten an accurate plan to work from. Now we are stuck with a bunch of credits that will never be used because the plan it produced is unusable. Use this app for its novelty but DON’T BUY CREDITS as the exports are useless.

Glad I found it. I am glad I found this app, because my room plans have some unusual angles with small doorways. I needed a floor plan to plan for a bathroom remodel. This app is very difficult to learn how to work with. Yes, I read the instructions, and was able to use the “touch” method with my phone. However, it kept telling me I had not touched after returning to the wall after the start point, when I had. So, I had to keep trying over and over. I couldn’t get the AR method to work for me. I tried the Get Assistance email, but no one got back to me today. I also had problems with linking another room thru a doorway—the two rooms weren’t properly aligned (remember the doorways are narrow—24” wide, and set at angles), and I had problems trying to rotate and slide them into position. In two rooms, the measurements surrounding a window area aren’t accurate, and I don’t know how to correct that. Needs more support FAQs, or instructions.

Great Potential but Not There Yet. I really like the idea of this app. Measure a room and then create a 3d model using pictures of the actual room. Reason I can’t give it more than 2 stars right now are: * Learning curve. Tough to figure out how things work without spending a lot of time figuring it out * 3D picture map stops working half way through. Starts off really fast and then just stops collecting pictures and I end up with an unusable 3D model. Maybe not enough memory being allocated for the rendering of the pictures? I would rather have a full room at less resolution than 6 square feet of useless high quality floor pictures. * Wish it was a little more accurate in measuring. I don’t expect it to ever replace my trusty laser measurer but it is sometime off by more than a foot. Also never gets room height correct.

Best app. So I have to remodel my room and this is the best app to use cause I can’t draw. If you need to redo or make a new house use this app

ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!. You'd think paying 5 dollars would allow you to basically do whatever the app is actually designed to do, but it doesn't. In an absolutely cringe inducing money grab, these cash desperate clowns make you pay 10 MORE dollars to get a LIMITED number of exports of the already COMPLETELY incorrect measurements of rooms this garbage spits out. Don't bother trying to get corners to match up, or for the app to realise you've gone the full lap of a room without making multiple mistakes. Want to put in doors or windows after you've finished? Don't bother. Want to not have to squint at every tiny badly displayed detail? Get your glasses out. You will literally have to go in and change every single wall's dimensions MANUALLY on this "AUTOMATIC" app in order to even barely represent the basic shape of the room you're standing in. DO....NOT....BUY....THIS....APP!!!!

Great for home gamer. I’ve had the app for years and I keep it because it just works and is handy to have for quickly gathering information for a room. I appreciate that they are maintaining the classic version because I don’t use it intensely and often enough that I would receive any benefit from having LIDAR version. And the price point is low enough, I just let it ride so it’s handy when I have a new project around the farm. Thank you!

It Did Nothing it Claims to do. I attempted using the RoomScan app to obtain the existing layout of my Master Bath. The results... well I’ll just say that I am going to have at least as much detail that the app promised, and I don’t need to listen to a nagging AI voice telling me to speed up, or slow down. The App gave me nothing even remotely useful. But, I know my graph paper, a measuring tape, and a level will give me everything I need and want. Avoid this wannabe app....

This is the most amazing. And professionally done app I’ve ever encountered. Great job, i heard about it a few years and finally needed to use it and all I can say is wow I am impressed!

App Alter by Developer After Purchase. You are incorrect about your own app and I’m sure you know this. You DID OFFER unlimited .dwgs at one point. THIS IS WHY I PURCHASED the second version, It’s nice to see you are no longer claiming there wasn’t two versions of your app as you had read in other people’s posts. There would never have been a reason for me to ever pay for an app to download extensions I have never used or have no need for as you suggested in your reply. I still have the .dwg file from your app from many years back. Let me know if you want me to end it to you in an email. Any real designer would never use this app to truly measure for As-builds. I can only imagine what your professional liabilities insurance provider would say.

Would like to give you my money.... I was able to figure out how to use the app, then went around my house measuring everything. Then I tried to export my floor plan to give to my interior designer. Without paying, all I could get was a picture with total square footage, but no wall dimensions. Well, how much could it cost to upgrade to the pro version? Probably not much compared to the overall design budget. I click on “Subscribe Now” and get a screen that just tells me I need to unlock, but no way to do it. I try “Manage Subscriptions” but that just takes me to the iTunes store and shows me my current subscriptions, with no way to add anything. The “Restore Purchases” button does nothing, either. So, I’m happy to pay you to upgrade, but apparently you don’t want my money.

Another Upsell Ripoff. Yet another app that tries to keep up selling you, first over to the Lidar app because I am using an IPhone, then when trying to add a symbol to the wall, another nag screen to upgrade to RoomScan Pro , which I already paid for. I am so frustrated with the new norm of app developers trying to bleed people with upcharges, I can’t even focus on the app and if it even works. As it turns out, it doesn’t work that well. The lidar feature is buggy. If we stopped allowing apps to implement whatever billing system they want, they will stop.

Meh. Good idea but poorly executed if the room has multiple walls and isn’t a square. Have to hit the edit button 3 times before I can add another corner. Then it auto zooms back out and i have to zoom back in just to move the wall to the right size

No option to switch from meters to inches?. Not bad scanning . Sometimes walls I touched many times just to increase accuracy. Disappointed doesn’t have a feature to change from meters to inches for more accurate measurements

Pretty nifty!. This at least gives me a starting point on drawing floor plans, which is extremely helpful for remodeling projects. A little glitchy at times, but I'm still new to it and getting better as I figure things out.

Not Good for iPads. As others have noted, this is extremely frustrating to use on an iPad. However, the AR function (available to iPhone users) seems really cool in the video. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that most of the bad reviews are from iPad users. If that is the case, then the developers should take the hint and make this app iPhone only.

What a piece to JUNK! Terrible. Don’t bother. I tried this app after loading it. My room is not 4 perfect walls, and I followed the on-screen prompts (no training, no video). This app has no idea what to do. I have a new iPhone X and this is a huge disappointment. I will watch the videos but I would expect this is too troublesome and unreliable. Developers need to let strangers try this app so they can see in person how their plan for this app does not live up to what they saw on their heads. I REALLY wanted this to work well. Epic fail. No one should have to struggle with an app like this. They need to clean and fix this thing or they’ll be extinct. Please do better and test under awful conditions, not just ideal ones.

Glad this is available, harder than I thought. I love the idea of this and have tried it often but it is harder than it seems. I’ve watched all the videos more than once and will keep working on it.

Wasn’t going to try.... ....because of a lot of recent negative reviews. However, all of the measurement apps have a lot of negative reviews and I liked the way the developers here responded. So I went ahead. Measured and joined 2 rooms in approximately 20 minutes. Easy-Peasy. Love it! Read the instructions. Dig around a bit in settings. There are 2 places you need to hit to change all measurements from meters to feet or vice-versa- that’s the only moment of passing frustration I had. I would like to be able to measure windows and doors in the app, is the only thing I feel is missing so far- and there might be a way to do that I haven’t found yet. This is great! Get it.

Great tool!. I admire the app’s comprehensive functionality to map the entire plan of a home or building, especially the wall touch feature. I would like to provide one major recommendation. But first, a prelude . . . . I read some of the reviews and I noted a single common thread among those that have a problem with the app. The app has many complex features that require practice to handle. Some of the features are not inherently obvious. It took me at least twelves times to map my home adequately. This implies, along with the looking at some of the reviews, that there is a steep learning curve to understand the app at a competent level. With that said, my recommendation is to provide more extensive videos and/or training instructions for users. The current videos are helpful, but is lacks how to accomplish the finer details on essential functions to pull all the information together harmoniously - like how to add additional rooms to existing rooms, adding openings, editing, etc. These are some of the things I grappled with. I saw the potential, so I stuck with it until I found the solutions. In summary, the this app has powerful capacities, yet it currently requires the user to adapt to its capability at a deliberately moderate rate.

Not with an iPad.... Brand new iPad...iOS 11.1....I tried for 2 hours to get this to work as advertised...but no. I read the minimal documentation available...watched all the videos....I was doing everything right and time after time it would fail to map out the room. I tried the same 11’ x 12’ empty room with 1 opening and two doors and it simply failed to do the math and come up with a floor plan. I mapped the room doing walls A,B,C,D,A...then pressed finish...nope. Then I tried A,B,C,D, A,B...and again...nope. I read in the docs that an iPhone is preferable because it’s smaller and easier to handle...and I would agree...but it shouldn’t totally malfunction.

Pay wall in bad place. If you moved your pay wall to the point where I could find out if I liked the app I might have subscribed, but where it is and how aggressively it pops up is absurd.

Very useful!. Great for Quickly measuring out the dimensions of the room. I have my iPad or iPhone with me more often then a notepad and tape measure. The only issue is sometimes walls can be hard to get to but a little planning Solves that. I only use the touch against the walls featuring have been very happy with the results. I had thought about deducting a star for the export feature. The free export comes with the iPad movements superimposed on the floor plan. The ‘paid’ export images do not have these Swishes all over. However, as a workaround open the clean image in the paid for section and take a screenshot. The app tries to block this but it is too slow.

Works well. This is a pretty good app. Along time ago I gave it one star review because it was not working very well. I tried again now, and it is vastly improved. It works as well as any other auto-measure app that I have found. You can export basic images with measurements for free. That’s incredible value. If you need more advanced exports, such as to AutoCAD, there is a charge.

Does not function as advertised or designed. I purchased the app to create the standard room layout as shown in the demo video. Simply put, it does not work well or reliably. Two main areas of trouble: 1) you have to press the phone against the wall, and then pull it back, all while keeping it level. If you don’t, the output is wonky or you’ll get error messages to start over. Remove your phone from the case, press it against the wall just while gripping the edges, pull it off the wall while keeping it level and at the same height, and then repeat this 4-6 Times. If you can do that, this app might work for you. I guess I lack the finger grip strength and agility. 2) you have to delete apps that count steps for this app to work properly - this is told to you once you’ve paid and download it. Delete MapMyRun and the Activity app that’s standard on the iPhone? Thanks but no thanks. If it worked like the video suggests, it would be great. But it doesn’t so it isn’t.

Mike Kueny. So this APP is fairly easy to use, my only complaint would be is that you have to move to fast to get measurement, this can sometimes be a bit difficult when trying to navigate around furniture.

Not there yet. Honestly, I really want to give this app a better score. It is such a great idea and it’s obvious that the developers are doing their best to use the devices features to create a unique experience, but it just falls short. I’ve tried to use this on several occasions and it has yet to deliver adequate results. I find it more frustrating than helpful. At this point this app is just a promise of what it could be with further development. I’d like to tell the developers kudos on the idea. Please keep at it. It has tremendous potential.

Room Scan. Works as advertised pity the camera works with a limited set of devices. Export credit feature is a pain. Clever but for the export credit approach it would have received full marks.

Great app for room scanning. This app works great and scanning is easy. I had a little issue with going from floor to walls (user error) but after emailing developer he replied quickly and walked me through it.

Bad info. I like the app, it makes it much easier to map out a house. The FAQ on the website specifically calls out the Bosch GLM 30 as compatible so I bought one for the integration. Turns out it is in fact not compatible due to not having Bluetooth. No evidence of any version of that model having Bluetooth either.

Robbery. I can imagine the corporate prig who coined the idea to penalize customers (who have already payed for the “pro version”) for the privilege of sending room measurements. Those unfortunate enough to have downloaded this app have to endure a waiting time that extends after every consecutive screen shot or by purchasing coins to bypass the timer. These coins start at 20 for $5.99. First screen shot penalized me 10 seconds the second set me back a minute and by the third I was at 600 seconds (10 minutes) - time is money and my opinion- save your money DON’T waste your time with this app, it’s a nice app but my company will no longer be using this app or supporting it. As consumers let’s hope this will not be a trend for other nefarious app developers.

Keep the updates coming. 5 stars for a great idea and effort implementing AR and scanning capabilities. Does this work flawlessly? No, it really doesn’t. Would it work better with a completely empty room? Yes, most likely. But I’ll be damned if this isn’t going to be the future, using a device like a phone to scan your surrounds. Please never let this app die! Continue improving!

Newbie could do it in an hour, lots of complainers here. Neat-O app! And it wasn't as hard as the reviews that show up first make it out to be. It's accomplishment to have created such a useful app. Thank you from KKrattiger in New Mexico

Very nice!. Downloaded this app and ten minutes knew the square footage of a bathroom I am going to tile. This let me know that I had enough tile. Love it!

Frustrating. Thought this could at least give me a rough outline of my very square, small and symmetrical home…apparently it’s a bunch of overlapping wiggly lines, and some extra corners are always added in that you can’t edit out because they’re so small, but they affect the angle of the room and thus entire home. Didn’t even use the whole free trial. Don’t know how this could help anyone unless they were looking for a headache.

Obsolete functions!. I worked on a single office plan for hours and never found a way to square the room corners or connect 10 rooms into a complete floor plan. I found no way to modify or add corners to rooms or merge rooms. I used Magicplan for years on many large buildings. This app is like going back to the dungeon of times past!!! I would love to see a better plan with real training videos.

Automatically correct forgets deleted objects. If you accidently add a second window in a scan (eg. starting on a wall with windows and trying to finish on the second wall and rescanning the windows) you can't seem to delete the window. If you do, every time you edit a walls dimensions, it will automatically correct the dimensions assuming that deleted window still exists and screw up the windows you corrected next time you open the door plan. Seems pretty poorly tested and unforgiving.

Basically a tech demo. I could map a single room but it’s too broken to map out an entire floor plan. The option to join rooms doesn’t work. The tools are not good enough to allow you to make up for its shortcomings. Not real world useful.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews. I stumbled across this app while searching for ways to speed up my productivity of a home remodel. This is an absolute fantastic app! It quickly and easily lets you digitize your current floor plan, while giving you “material purchase lengths” needed for doing many different type of jobs. Any idiot trying to use this app for final installment should never be allowed to hold a sharp tool! This is an extremely effective home measuring tool, and a great way to digitize your current floor plan!

For me, more trouble than it's worth. If you have empty rooms, with no furniture, and regular door and windows, and all right angle corners it might work well. For my lived in home, with furniture, corner fireplaces, double doors, and archways, it was hard to get the walls placed. However the big problem for me was adjusting lengths of walls. Every adjustment I made skewed the shape of the room taking it further away from it's actual shape. I decided it would be easier just to use graph paper and a pencil.

Pro version fails. The app was pretty good until I paid for the pro plan. It now simply refuses to work. A full year subscription wasted. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro on an Google Fiber 1G network and it refuses to let me export my data. One dialogue even confirmed that I have a valid subscription. No help from support either.

Works well. Lots of potential. I use this with the AR feature and though it isn't that precise, it can get very close...it got within 1/8" of the actual measurement 👌🏽 I'm giving it 3.5 stars because the editing mode needs more basic features such as, the ability to rotate rooms...because you may have connected it the wrong way, a better undo/history count, and automatically adjust wall lengths when editing the lengths on the to the left and right off the door size.

Great when you get it going. This app is awesome once you figure out how to use it...I have a geodesic domes home and it can be difficult figuring out the floor plan and this app mapped it out perfectly! I found that touching the wall feature to be easiest and most accurate... the app can get a little snappy if you move the phone wrong but coaches you along...

Good potential but needs work. Right off the bat, it’s a good app with the right features but it’s lacking some basic user interface options. Some basic re-designing would be great and would put this software on top.

Where do I begin?. I downloaded this app to help with dimensions of rooms in a home we just purchased. I wasted 45minutes systematically going through the home taking pictures of each room using the app. When I went to locate the pictures to plot the layout of the home, there were no pictures anywhere on my device. I also used it to get room dimensions. That did not work either. Don’t bother purchasing this app, it is a waste of time and money.

Keeps popping up purchase nag screen when editing room. I had used this on an iPhone 6+ for a while and stopped due to. The phone’s limitations. Now trying on an iPad Pro and when I try to edit a room I just added, it pops up a purchase. Screen and won’t let me go farther. I can only cancel out and can navigate around the app, but get the same problem whenever I try to edit that room.

Great app, could be improved. fantastic app! Would be nice to get the ability to show dash marks for closets and more symbols would really take it to the next level

Does what it says. Quite accurate, great job if you've forgotten your tape or laser. It creates a good layout with measurements.

Very useful app. Are you looking at rental properties, houses to buy etc ? Most real estate ads don't have floor plans - just make your own !

Work as it should. i have found the app easy to use and surprisingly accurate.

Terrible. Just terrible. Inaccurate, gets confused at complicated rooms, paid app yet you still have to pay on each export, JPEG shares sometimes have measurements and sometimes don't. What a waste of money.

Impressed!. 9 times out of 10 results are great. Have redone once or twice but results are excellent. I will use the drawing conversions

Quick easy. I use this to get ruff measurements for quick and 'impressive' quoting. Works a treat :-) Still using it well!

Very useful tool. I own a flooring company and this is a very handy tool to have when on site. Keeps us looking ahead of the pack when using it, great talking point with clients.

Handy Little Tool. Great tool for what I needed. Doing some small renovations and used this to get measurements for flooring and tiles. I was just using it for some pretty rough measurements, but see that there is some pretty useful tools for doing quite an advanced measure up.

Great tool. This is a great tool for measuring and laying out of existing dwelling. While personally I would only use it as a guide, for non-professionals it would be a valuable tool

Useless. The demo videos are out of date and the version you get is different. Doesn't work like the demo video does (it makes it look so easy -I want that version). Empty spaces don't record like the video shows. Floor plans don't pick up walls and windows like they should. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Don't buy this app. Oh. And if you do you have to pay more to get the plans out of it. Something they also fail to mention. Real ripoff.

Impossible to understand!. Good luck to anyone trying to work out how to use the camera scanning on this app. The instructions are useless and I tried for 45mins until I gave up. DO NOT use this app, you’ll regret it.

Cool and clunky. Needs a lot of work - a lot of post work to do and if that room isn’t square watch out! Ok though.

Great app for doing plans. I have just started using this app, saw the support for Leica Disto and went and bought a D110 straight away. Paired it up, in seconds was measuring and inputting via bluetooth! Superb work.

Absolute joke. Nowhere near accurate!!! Don’t waste your time. Other apps are easier to use and are far more customisable.

Good App...but. Roomscan is a good app. Although there are quite a few basic features missing. Also I don't like the tactic of insisting that you must give a review with 4 or 5 stars to get the upgrades free. It would be better to ask for suggested features to get a free upgrade. Certainly needs improvement for editing existing rooms and adding rooms and for adding floors.

Waste of time; waste of money. Spent $12.99 annual to unlock room plan feature that I can’t get any pro-rated amount back after cancelling 2 days into using the app. VR doesn’t even recognise tiny space. A waste of time and money.

Inaccurate rubbish. Adjusting it's wild guesses is nigh on impossible. Autocorrect just adds unwanted features I had just deleted. Odd shaped rooms with more than 4 walls and multiple openings confuse it. Should be able to convert openings to windows, not just doors. A waste of money in its current form.

Good App but dishonest way of getting ratings. I would have rated this app highly regardless, but it is unethical make free updates to a paid app only available to people who give a 4 or 5 star rating. Therefore I have lowered my rating from 5 to 4 star. Works well and does what it promises.

Needs furniture. Would be nice to have the ability to place 'furniture' inside rooms but the app does what it says.

Great So Far. I am a professional facilities manager. I use this app as a notepad for property surveys.

not worth the effort. The brilliant feature of adding doors to the scan sounds great until you actually try it on a hallway with numerous doors, the app just gets confused and gives up. The option to add lengths to a room is good, except you can only do it on recently scanned rooms so after you scan a number of rooms into the system and then break out the tape measure you find you have wasted an hour of your time for nothing. Thank you for wasting my time....

Not bad, for the price. For a free app, pretty useful. Not 100% accurate and measurements are notably different when doing the same scan a second time, but good enough for general outlines

I love this app. This app helped me become a good builder and when parents told me they wanted to make there room into a different shape I used the app and I made lots of money now thank you for this app

Good but not brilliant.. It wasn't that expensive, so I guess it is worth the money to be able to quickly throw together some floor plans. Perhaps it has features I'm not using but I would not necessarily recommend.

Vittorio. My app had locked and I couldn’t access my scans for some very important quotes so I contacted the tech chat . Within minutes they had everything back up and running . The tech person was very pleasant , responsive and great to deal with ! Without a doubt a great app and dealing with them directly make them a five star !

Not Even Close. A good foot to two feet off on a basic rectangular Room. Useless $7.00 software. I want my money back. You should not waste yours.

RoomScan. It's alright. It could be more accurate than it is, but if you just need a drawing for the hardware store it's ok.

Too bad. Great idea for an app but in any non standard room (angled walls, different width sections etc) it just doesn't work. It tries to compensate for imprecise GPS or user error and just tried to make every room a perfect rectangle. My bay window type wall really messed it up.

Amazing! Well done. The app is very interesting, not very intuitive, once you get it, everything is quite feasible! A detailed "How to" would be very welcome to really understand how powerful the app is when you goes out of the standard rectangular room...

Should have known. to pay for the pro version 6.95 is alright if the app did work properly. It never manages to put two rooms in the right position next to each. IF you would like to have your design exported to put it back manually in a design software, the app asks for credits for every single export. This is by far the worst app i've bought.

There must be better apps to test AR. Ha! I’d write that it is quick and easy too if I was getting paid for reviews. Unfortunately I’m not. After purchasing app, be prepared to purchase export credits to be able to see your horribly disfigured rooms. *update* I stand corrected. You can do a screen capture of the room either yourself or using the app. You guys are sooooi funny.

Draws walls well, measurement accuracy is only as good as your phone. If you can tolerate fine tuning the measurements, this app will speed up the creation of floor plans. Creating hallways with 2 openings (2 walls) is challenging. Maybe there is a trick to it.

Estimator. It's good. I shut off the tricky troublesome property manager just in few minutes. Small project was called up to do quotation for a tendent and the property manager try to push the tendent not to make any holes on the floor for building a new wall. I told him the standard will not allow this and it is not save. The property manager tell me to draw a floor plan to give to the landlord. If no holes are made on the floor then he doesn't need a floor plan even if I build a wall. I scan the room in front of his eyes. And his face turn red. Emailed him on the spot.

Impressive. I have done a few rooms so far. It is very quick and looks accurate enough for my requirements. Edits allow more precise if required. Very nice. And impressive use of smartphone technology!!! Well done.

Excellent software. Great potential. **When paired with a bluetooth laser**, this app works great for quickly and efficiently drawing exact floorplans and exporting to PDF. At this stage, the software works brilliant for straightforward standard room layouts. Much easier to use and more accurate than other similar floorplan apps Ive tried this year

Great App. Love it and it does everything it says it will!!!

Hard or impossible to edit. When this works it's great. When it gets a room a little wrong it is frustrating at best and rage inducing at worst. Old houses seem to be a challenge, with funny corners. If it decides you have an angle where you don't, it's just impossible to fix. Probably better with a laser, but in that case you could use a sketch pad app. Or paper.

Interesting app. Is it tape measure accurate? No, but the app does offer fairly accurate dimensions. Good enough for helping with estimating. It is helpful in tracking the shape of rooms, windows and doors. Helps this old man's memory! It isn't the easiest app to pick up and use, but the task is complex and the time saving is substantial. I look forward to future improvements.

How many square feet?. Love this app...easier than expected. Using it in an apartment building.

Amazing!. I was extremely skeptical that this app could do what it said it could do. I flew around the main floor of my house in literally 10 minutes, and had a floorplan that was within a few inches of being perfect. My house has a lot of odd angles, and it was able to extrapolate the size of the walls correctly. Highly worth the price!

Great App!. Would like the export to be a little more compatible with basic Cad software programs. This app works as promised.

Top notch. At first I was sceptical about it but after trying and giving it a second chance I'm impressed with the capabilities of it.. Wish there was a was to import other symbols into the app to use on the floor plans

I was starting to have fun with it but then it just became too difficult. I haven’t given up yet but I’m guessing it shouldn’t be taking me 3 hours to get even a rough idea.

Loved this app but. Now it doesn’t show in AR? I can’t see any of my scans in AR any longer. When I try to view it, it just shows my camera and never loads the room.

Do not upgrade!. Followed the developer’s request to upgrade to Pro and lost all my scans!

Stuck in “Unlock RoomScan Pro” screen. Just downloaded and tried only one hour. Stuck in orange red screen “Unlock RoomScan Pro”, can’t do anything else unless you pay.

please update. It is annoying the message to activate Bluetooth when starting the app. 😡 I do not have a laser meter. It is very confusing to use. the interface is unfriendly.

What an amazing app!!!!. Incredible. I have just build an amazing floor plan in just minutes. Amazing, absolutely amazing.

No iCloud backup!!!. After the iOS 11 upgrade the app crashed each time you choose “save image.” To troubleshoot I deleted the app and then reinstalled. To my horror I lost all of my floor plans. How do you add iOS 11 augmented reality to your app, but skip iCloud backup for the data?

Great Tool - Problems & NO RESPONSE FOR SUPPORT. This is a fantastic tool but hasrecently been giving me real problems. I have paid for the pro version but the app does not recognize this and will allow me to use the pro features. THE APP SUPPORT TEAM HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MY INQUIRY ABOUT THIS. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Paid for an app that uses LIDAR. I paid for pro because it was $8 a year and it would use lidar when I upgraded my device. Now that I have a new device with LIDAR they took away the lidar from the app and made a new app thats $48 a year. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, THE MARKET WILL LEAD TO A NEW AND BETTER APP FROM TRUSTWORTHY COMPANIES SOON.

This App Is Terrible. The instructions are not easy to follow - I was almost done scanning and mapping my home when the app decided to crash and saved nothing. Waste of time. I would give zero stars if I could

Deceptive. Says it works with Bosch’s Bluetooth laser but it does not.. there no instructions as to how to troubleshoot just when getting the hang of trying to “draw” a new room it would not let me unless I started a 7 day trial for the yearly subscription that is like $9 no way around that so it has been deleted..

Fair. The"Buy Pro" nag is REALLY IRRITATING! Lowering review because of this. Changed to feet in iPhone settings. Worked for a little bit then changed itself back. I can't fix a room so now I'm trying to delete it. How do I do that?!!! Learning curve is steep. Edits are not natural. Rooms attach at wrong place and couldn't figure out how to fix it. Very frustrating.

Greedy. I used to own this app, I bought it. I got a new phone and now it’s making me set up a yearly subscription. Way to take a great idea and let your greed ruin your product.

iPhone 11 Pro. Scanned room and doors then photo to add pic froze up lost scans. Waste of time

Seems good but would t work.. Placed against wall and it never beeped. My house is furnished and when I tried the AR option it would never work even though I got room over half cover in white dots.

Screw job. This is an ok product but it has frequent problems with complex non-rectangular rooms. Also they just jacked up the price from $8.49, which is ok to almost $40. A rip off. Do not buy!

Doesn't work. I tried to scan a simple small room, and the augmented scan would not open and I kept getting failures on the touch scan even though all instructions were followed.

Free trial pop up makes it impossible to use the app. Couldn’t get over how aggressive the sign up for the 7 free trial aka subscribe and hope they forget to unsubscribe. ‘ Couldn’t even get a second room scanned before I started to get the pop up. Oh well.

Very confusing to use. I was never able to complete a room. It said to scan the first point to complete, but I just wound up with a ton of extra small walls in the starting place because it could find it.

The subscription plague has infected another app.... ...how about IKEA charges you a subscription on your furniture or charges you each time you sit down on you chair a comfort fee?

I tried to make it work. I’ve tried it all guys, I gave it time and I wanted it to work! This app doesn’t work, won’t work and you shouldn’t waste your time much less money on it.

Does not work. I tried scanning a completely empty, square, well lit room, and I could not get it to scan properly. Too many mistakes so I gave up. This is as simple of a room as possible. I don’t understand how it would work in normal conditions.

Very difficult to export. File format to export are useless. The map does not shows measurements on the export file.

Glitchy. Works great for awhile, then can’t scan another room without crashing every time.

Is your room a square?. If it is a perfect square then this app is for you, but if your room has any unusual bends, angles, openings, et al. Then don’t get this app it can’t handle anything but a square room, useless. Delete!

Mostly good. I’ve found that it works mostly. But the measurements are off slightly when compared to Bosch laser measure.

Better Tutorial or Better Intuition. Hard to use. May be higher rating once I practice. Faster to measure the room on paper.

This App is Amazing!!!!. I am moving into a new apartment next week and this app allows me to experiment with furniture and decor placement in advance. A great help!
