Two or three seconds would be great. And at the final solve, let us see the whole board longer to acknowledge it. Ads overide my volume control…. Hello, I downloaded this game a few days ago and so far I really enjoy it! There are a few issues that get in the way and concern me enough about continuing. The most egregious is multiple ads have overridden my volume control, which has caused some embarrassment at appointments and interrupted my audio book. This brings us to the 2nd point- you don’t have any customer support within the app - this is terrible and perhaps the main reason people download your game and then abandon it because very few will actually leave a review (reviews rarely get traction). 3rd- I agree with others here; an ad-free option would garner more good will and revenue than only having the current option. Thanks.

I love the challenging topic association but huge bug. I'm loving to play this game, it provokes deep thought and I'm learning new words and topics. I have been having a hug bug issue though while playing. Two tiles will get stacked on top of each other causing me to not be able to move the tile on the bottom. If that is the only match then I cannot complete the sequence. It has also continued when completing another sequence that is available. I'm at a standstill right now as I cannot complete the only row available.

Great game ONLY if you like ads. This is a great game, or would be if it wasn’t so ad driven. They do not give you that option, and there is an ad between every single level. If you take too long on one level, they will make you watch an ad in the middle of the level. If you need a hint, they make you at watch ads up to a minute and a half long. I’ve never had to watch a minute and a half ad on any game before. Maybe someone will make a game like this but without all the ads. The fact that they do not give you the option to pay to not have ads tells you what is important to this creator.

No recourse if you get stuck. I like this game, and I don’t mind that some levels are tougher than others. But I’ve been stuck on the same level for days, and really have tried darn near every combination, with no success! I was told by the maker that there is a way to skip levels, but I see no way to do that. When I’ve used the hint feature, it has only given me the same two words each time, so it basically voids any help beyond the first clue. I may delete and look for a similar type game.

Really fun game RUINED by ads. Honestly one of the most fun word association games I’ve played. Unfortunately the experience is completely ruined by ads. It wasn’t too awful when it was one short ad between levels but as you progress, the levels are interrupted multiple times with ridiculously long ads. There are several that run for over a minute before you can skip, IF they don’t crash the game entirely. It’s genuinely a shame that there is not an ad-free version of this game. I love everything else about the game, but unfortunately I’ll be deleting the game solely because of the ad experience.

Ads interrupt entertaining game. The game itself is entertaining, but there are too many ads. They occur every time you start/end a game, when you want a hint, and every 5 minutes or so during game play. They are repetitive and often require several clicks to exit and get back to the game (many are 30 seconds, but I’ve had some that are 2 minutes long). There is no option to get rid of the ads. You spend about as much time waiting through ads as you do playing the game.

Sticks. I really like your game, but at least once in each level only 3 tiles drop not 4. But it did drop 4 but 1 is stuck under another tile and I have to restart the level. I have even deleted it and reinstalled the game. If you can fix this bug..5 stars You have completely fixed it, if I keep playing it fixes itself.

Last two disappear too quickly. My wife showed me this game. We like it except that going from four to a picture goes too fast and especially going to the last two matches of four, the just disappear way too fast to read them and go over what was correct. Please slow that part down. We like to go over the last two groups before the game is over.

Ads galore. I like the game. Sometimes there are words I do not know what they are. I feel like I need a dictionary at times when there are two many tiles that I don’t even know the words I am trying to match. Ads are a necessary evil, but I do not like the game interrupted for them and it being the same ad over and over. I had to sit through 3 ads with the last puzzle I worked. All the same ad which makes it even more annoying. I am spending more time on games where the ads don’t interrupt play and also, when the ads are longer than the play in between, I automatically delete. It’s ridiculous to play a game and the ad time is longer than the time you spend playing. I feel harrassed by these ads and even if it is something I might be interested in, I won’t even try it bec I feel like it is being shoved down my throat. So I reject the ad completely and if annoyed enough, I will delete the game. Surely there can be a compromise that is reasonable to make offers with the ads and still have sufficient playing time. I’ll give this game a chance, but if I continue to have interruptions while solving a puzzle, I will delete it.

Great Game!. I am really liking this game (as a new player), and I gave it 4 stars because I think that it could get better. I like the idea of being reminded of things that are categorized together. But if you complete the level; you cannot stay on the page to look at all the completed categories that you figured out. It sends you to the next level really quickly. That being said, I still think this is a great game. I think you can learn from it if you struggle with relating things to each other. I think that it’s a fun way to spend your free time. I think it’s more productive than not, and I think that it’s free entirely at this point. Also I won’t disregard that it is good that you can see the completed categories and look at them while you’re playing a level (until you’ve fully completed it.)^see up there to get a full description. I would 100% recommend this game. I’ll also add that you don’t need to struggle with categorization to find this game entertaining. Hope that anyone that plays sees what I mean :).

Slower Final View. Rather than rewrite my problem is the same as hers. Sometimes because game ends so abruptly, I don’t know what the last category connected is. I have been able to find the answers by searching online. Would like to be able to tap on pictures for their title. “Hi MinnieMagneta, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Screen changes too fast. Please make a setting for larger letters. Sometimes they’re hard to see/read. Since I’ve updated it repeats a lot of them over and over. Please make it so that the board stays on screen so I can read what each category was. It switches so fast I can’t always see what all the categories were at the end. Also please stop making the most obvious ones the clues. And once a clue is highlighted it should stay highlighted.

Missed learning opportunities. Please allow user to be able to go back to see the relationships between connected words. I accidentally matched correctly on the last level I played but have no idea how. The scene switches out of that level so quickly. This could easily have an educational element to it. Also when cards are grouped together, it would be great if we can tap it to see what the matches or connections were for review, especially in the instance of an accidental match. Thank you! Great game with room for improvement. I’m guessing this game is still relatively new, but it’s my new favorite game to play on my downtime. It’s challenging enough to keep things interesting but not so challenging that you instantly wanna give up. It does have ads pretty often which is annoying. They should make an option to purchase a no-as experience. Also, like someone else mentioned, it’d be nice to revisit other levels to see the relationship between words. I hit a stopping point at level 140 where a glitch made a group of words that weren’t alike into a permanent group, leaving h like word left and unmatchable. So I restarted the level, only for the last four words ungrouped, but every other row grouped so there’s no other option. Maybe this is the last developed level and they purposely did that so you wouldn’t progress? I don’t know. Anyway, I like the game for the most part.

Not enough levels. Played this game for several weeks. I really enjoyed some of the more obscure relationships of words, especially when a word has more than one meaning. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough levels in the game. After only playing a few weeks, instead of advancing, I was offered random levels that I had already played. Too bad. If I had any other recommendations, it would be for the vertical category to be unlabeled and allow the player to figure out a relationship.

Slow down?. Hi just a quick question-request. When you solve the next to the last line and then the last time is automatically solved —could you leave the screen up longer so we can look at it to see why it matches? Obviously if we didn’t solve it til last we don’t know—but we’d like to look at it and the topic name but it is gone in a flash! Also— ditto for the comment made about ads If I delete in the next couple of days please know the ads were the reason…thank you

Keep the ads out. The game itself is enjoyable and at times quite challenging. It’s good as a senior citizen keeps my mind work. However, what stopped me from the full five stars are all the darn ads! I hate them! They pop up for an “ad break” in the middle of a game. This interrupts your concentration. Then after each game. I understand the ads help fund. But I would be willing to pay a one time fee to keep it add free! I’m afraid I’m going to have to delete it shortly.

Glitch on level 140. I do enjoy playing this game however there is an error on level 140 that needs to be fixed. One of the pictures of the stores once combined changes to an egg therefore when I try to combine all the store pictures it doesn’t complete the word association part cuz the game thinks that picture should go to the bird group but that’s not right. Please fix this issue cuz can’t complete level and thus continue playing game. Will have to delete otherwise if not fixed. Thank you.

Ad-Free?. Absolutely love this game! Some levels are easy, some are tougher, and I love the ability to watch an ad for hints. My only complaint is the ads after completing levels. I get an ad after every level, no matter how quickly I finish it. I truly wish there were an option to buy the ad-free version, and only have optional ads when needing a hint. I do love that the complete game is free, but for those of us who prefer to buy ad-free versions, it would be so helpful. Forced ads are a nuisance.

Entertaining, but….. I love the concept of the game, love the vertical categories (would definitely like to see those more often!), and figuring out categories. And I agree with so many other reviews: too many ads. I don’t want to delete so I won’t, in case you get an option to pay for ad free. I can understand an ad between levels (even better if it’s only every couple levels). But during a level? I’ve even had multiple ad breaks in levels and it’s frustrating 😩😩. Please please come up with a way to pay to get rid of ads. I’d gladly pay up to a $10 fee that makes no ads forever. I enjoy this game that much!

Good then boring. Good game. Really makes you think but not so hard it takes all the fun out of it. I enjoyed it most in the beginning stages. At some point, they started using words & categories that were used already. And then they kept repeating. Doesn’t make sense when there are so many possibilities out there. Makes the game less interesting. Images are terrible. Can’t make them out sometimes. Yes, game closes so quickly I can’t see what connections were hardest. I don’t know if I’m missing something but I don’t see an option to get a clue when I’m really stumped. Maybe someone could let me know if it’s an option in the game & I just don’t see it. Please keep improving the game. It’s a good game.

2 Key Suggestions. I love this game! 1. There are WAY too many ads when you get to higher levels: too many and too long in duration. 2. One of the biggest reasons I love this game is because you use words and genres with which I’m not familiar…I get to play and learn at the same time! (Thanks to Google search.) PLEASE make the final category in a level close/collapse just a little slower … I often don’t have time to see what that final category was and it’s always the one that was stumping me. I want to learn!

Love the game, want a paid ad-free version. Length and frequency of ads is too much. I’d happily pay for a ad-free version. Also, when you match a group and it condenses to an image, you have to guess what exactly is the aspect you now need to match. The correct set name disappears before you can read it. I wish you could click on the image and get a title.

Honestly love it, but the ADS…. Oh my good golly gosh. I cannot describe to you how much I want to recommend to my mom and husband, but can’t because i can’t in good conscience recommend something with this many ads. Ads in between levels, ads during levels, ads to get a hint, I feel like I breathe too hard and I get an ad. I like this game and find it challenging enough that I would pay to remove ads, and apparently that’s not an option. So frustrating.

Overall pretty good game. I like this game over all, I think it’s pretty challenging and really makes you use your brain and think which is great. The only issue I have is that when I’m trying to figure out the vertical group I have a lot of trouble rearranging the words because I’ll drag them where I want them to go and they won’t move. I drag them over and over again to the same spot only for it not to work. The drag and drop feature works perfectly fine when playing the regular gameplay it’s only with the extra column that I have issues.

Like, but so many ads and no option to pay for none. Please give an option to pay for an ad-free version. There is an ad every time I blink. Or at least change something on the screen. I really like the game, but I’m thinking of deleting it because there are SO MANY ads and you don’t even give me the option to pay to use the app without them. Please change this.

!!!!!ADs-ADs-ADs!!!!!!. The ads are ridiculous!! So very intrusive during game play. I completely understand the need to support the business, but come on, this is absolutely in-your-face greed. Why so many, so often, so long, and so difficult to shut down? This seems to be the trend now, but you are ruining a really fine game. We know within 10 seconds whether or not we are interested in what is being advertised, so why oh why do these companies insist on making their ads so very long and why do you support this practice? The longer the ad, the more difficult it is to close, and the more it is repeated just makes players hate what they are trying to push in our face. It makes us want to delete your game and also never patronize to companies that advertise this way. It doesn’t seem like a good business model.

Fun but too many ads. Having an ad during each level and then in after each level gets really annoying after awhile. Plus if you need a hint it’s more ads and a lot of the ads are long and you can’t skip. I would prefer if there was an ad free version for $5 or something and we earn coins each level and can buy hints with coins instead of 30 second ads. I’m past level 100 and I’m getting tired of the game because of so many ads.

LOVE .. but. I LOVE this game so far! I’ve only gotten to level 37, so I haven’t reached some of the other complaints people have about it. My only issue with it is not just the ads. It’s that they don’t allow me to pay to skip ads. Every single game I’ve ever played has given me the option to pay to remove ads. I don’t do it often, but when I find a game I really like, like this one, I’m willing to pay to remove them.

No way to lessen or get rid of ads. I really enjoy this game, but the number of ads really detracts from it. In addition to ads in between games, there are “ad breaks” during the game. Too excessive and no way to lessen or even pay to get rid of the ads. I hope that you can add ways to reduce or get rid of the ads so we can actually enjoy the game. Your concept is unique and I do enjoy the play, but long ads and ad breaks during play have me looking for another game.

Ad after ad after ad. This is a game that I really enjoy when I can play it. The ads are endless. The clues are almost always words I have already matched. The most frustrating part is the inability to see all the words on the grid. I have had several levels where I had 2 or 3 words but no space for more words to fall so I am stuck in an endless cycle of trying to get hints to clear space for more words to fall. Hopefully the developers will improve the gameplay so I will keep playing.

Highly intrusive ads. The sad thing is that this is a very clever, fun, and satisfying twist on a categories game. But the ads make it impossible to continue. Not only are there banners at the bottom of every board and lengthy ads in between, but now there are "ad break"s while I am playing a level that are long and flashy. Especially if I'm trying to play a quick level or two while waiting at work, this is a complete dealbreaker. It really is too bad, but I'll have to uninstall the game since there is not a way to pay for a no ad version.

Ad free? Missing context. This game is very easy in the beginning because they want you to play. It quickly becomes challenging and I like that, however, some of the pictograms are very difficult to decipher, so it would be nice if I could “tap” the icons for a definition. Also, some of the clue words are so obscure that I have to look them up, ie tiaga - meaning forest. Am I going to use this again? No! Also, sometimes when trying to match 4 clues, the item to match is not available on the screen. This forces you to match other items first. Also, when matching lines not at the bottom, the game will unmatch other lines not completed when a match at the bottom disappears from the screen after the bottom line is complete. Ads in the middle of game play are soooooo annoying! It breaks your concentration! And yes, I know that ads are so that the game is free, but an ad in the middle of game play and the again 3 seconds later in the middle and then at the end of the level is excessive. Not sure I can keep playing this game. People in other reviews have said that level 140 is “broken” and can’t be completed. Why not fix it? Got to be frustrating!

Great game. Ads are annoying! It after every matching of word during the game and every game! Some add are 2 min long if not longer. Then if you want a clue ads AGAIN. I am getting close to deleting the game which is a shame I enjoy it. But I’m done with the ads. Also someone mentioned leave the final puzzle up for a for more seconds so we can see the game board and categories. FIX ADS !!! I am not the only one telling you this. Now deleting until you fix! Clues. I recently downloaded the game and enjoy it but when I watch a video to get a clue when I’m stuck, it almost always highlights two words that I already have matched on a line. So I end up having to watch three or four ads before I get a clue that is helpful. It’s getting annoying. And the ads are all 60 or more seconds plus you have to x out of them three or four times before you’re allowed to return to the game. Make the clues more helpful if I’m watching that length of ad.

Please Ad-Free Option!. I love playing this game, but PLEASE, PLEASE bring us an Ad-Free option 🙏🏻. I understand ads for hints when you’re stuck, but ads at every level progression too?? AND many of them are longer than 2 minutes without an option of exiting to give up the hint… or to just restart. It can be VERY frustrating. I also would like some more instructions to refer back to. After the hint is given, it doesn’t say how to group the 2 words with another 2 words to complete the group ( if that color/subject isn’t shown). So i have to endure another ad to restart level. Again, I love this game, but it has some definite hinks.

Glitchy game and can't complete levels. I'm playing this game to get points on Fetch and have to reach certain levels. My next requirement was to finish level 140. I get to the last 4 options on level 140 thinking I'm done but they don't say they match - but they are the last four so they have to. I exit out of the game and try again, and the last four still aren't connecting. One of the options has now completely switched to a previous option that has already been matched. Then I restart the level. The exact same thing happens and the last four don't connect and I am unable to complete the level, therefore not being able to get any points from Fetch. So frustrating!!!!!!!!!

Love the game but allow ad removal. I recently downloaded the game and I’m LOVING it but please allow an ad free option for purchase. So many of us would purchase the game. Not sure how long I can handle the ads before I stop playing all together though. I already find myself closing the app when the ads pop up. Sometimes I have a few minutes to play (waiting in line, waiting in the car, taking a break etc) but an ad pops up and I don’t want to waste those few minutes watching an ad. Please allow us to purchase the game ad free. Ty

Mostly fun, but dragged down by the awful hint system and too many ads.. The hints so far are absolutely awful. Firstly, they often just tell me something I already know, by telling me two things I already have in the same row, do in fact, go in the same row. I already knew that, that’s why I put them in the same row. I should not have to go through 5 hints just to get one that’s actually useful. Secondly, since hints require watching ads to get, don’t have your stupid “ad break” occur right after I’ve just watched 5 ads for a single hint. These two things combined are seriously undermining the otherwise fun puzzle game.

Lots of Fun, Too Many Ads. I discovered this game last night and I’m already about 60 levels in. I love it and it really keeps my brain engaged. However, I just keep getting ad after ad after ad, even if all I did was close my screen for a moment. It’s infuriating and takes me out of the calming state the game puts me in. Just as a note to the developers, I would be MORE than willing to pay a one time fee to just get an ad-free experience. Thank you.

Too Many Ads!!!!. This game is excellent and I would be totally hooked except for the fact that there is an ad between almost every level plus often ads stuck in the middle of the level. And it’s not that I choose not to spend money to remove the ads, it’s NOT EVEN AN OPTION! Much as I absolutely love playing this game, I will delete it because I can’t stand the constant annoying interruptions. Too bad - I would have been glad to invest in an ad-free version.

So fun. I absolutely love this game. It’s challenging, aesthetically pleasing- I love the option to physically group the related words into a row. The word pairings are a fantastic mix of easy to keep you going and hard where I’m searching what a word means. Cons. We really, really need an option to buy out ads, to earn coins for hints, just something. While some of the ads are normal app ads some of them are over a minute or two long. I realize that doesn’t sound long, but it is when it’s so frequent. Any hints are given by watching an ad, leveling up is an ad, and ads are also intermittently added in the middle of playing. I would love to support the game - and watch fewer ads.

Really like but…... The only comment I have is that the screen changes to the next level so fast that you can’t read the last categories before the board changes. Same with the levels that turn into an icon. Sometimes it changes so fast that you can’t see which words made up the category. Slow it down!

Game is fine but it broke on level 21 for me. The game is fun but it broke on level 21 for me it wouldn’t let me continue on and it said I had 12/11 of the words connected and there was no way to restart it so I was just stuck and I ended up having to delete the game and reinstall it just to continue and it started me over which I expected to happen but it should have a restart button or a way to get it to not get stuck and give you more words then what works for the game

Truly missing an opportunity…. Everything the previous reviews have stated are true. There are way too many ads and they are way too long. Some last as long as 2 minutes. They hit you in the middle of a level and then again between each level. Truly excessive. The missed opportunity is the ability to remove ads. I believe this game could be something special if it could be played without all the interruptions. I have seen many reviews where the players are begging to have a remove ads option. Unfortunately, the developer gives the obligatory “we are looking into it” but seems more concerned with keeping the advertisers happy. Add a remove ad function and you will be counting the money and the positive reviews. I’m ready for my “Thank you for your input as we are looking into this…” response. Other than that the game is fun.

Level stuck and tired or restarts. Am loving the game and maybe the ads are a little bit too much. I am at level 140, but it seems to be stuck on one grouping and won’t acknowledge it, it’s the only items left and the game doesn’t group them. Taking the ads for hints has not helped either. And when you’re grouping items to make a line you can’t access the other clues above so restarts are constant. If I have several lines left it would be nice to be able to see the clues instead of the drop down after a grouping.

Love this game!. I am in love with this game. I am in my late 60’s and this is a great game to help keep the old brain thinking and it’s a good way to expand vocabulary and knowledge. I do agree with others that it would be nice to be able to review answers after a round. It would also be nice to have a way to earn hints after X amount of rounds. I also BEG you to offer a “No Ads” option. If I like a game like this, I am willing to pay to get rid of random ads and just allow us to earn hints by watching an ad. Thanks!

Missing Context. I really like the game. It does make you think in a lot of different directions. I wish that when a line matches up that you weren’t intending to match up that you could clear it yourself so that you could see what the relationship was between the items or words. Also if you can make it so you can long press the word to get the definition so you don’t have to go search it! 🙌

Great… but….. I really like this game a lot. I enjoy it. It’s challenging. You get to a point where there’s references or words that you may not be familiar with which makes the levels more challenging, which makes it more enjoyable. I find myself playing it all the time. Now for the but… I wish there was an option to get rid of the ads. I like the game enough that I would pay to remove the ads. I wish as you played you had the opportunity to earn points to unlock hints because sometimes the hints are necessary, and the data is not saved to your account so if I’m traveling, and want to play on my phone and then if I wanna continue playing on my iPad when I’m at home, the data is completely different. I had to start all over again. I wish the information was a little more cohesive across devices.

Good game. This game is challenging without being impossibly hard. It requires thinking and is enjoyable. The only recommendation would be to have an ad free option, as it can be annoying when the ads come up suddenly in the middle of a level

Ads in the middle of every game. The game is genuinely fun, which is why I’ve downloaded it twice. But I’ve also deleted it twice. The constant ads, especially those that interrupt gameplay, completely ruin the experience. Why not offer a paid or VIP option to remove ads? I’d gladly pay to enjoy the game without nonstop interruptions. Right now, it feels like the focus is more on squeezing ad revenue than providing a good user experience. If you’re looking for a similar but better alternative, try Word Bridges — same idea, way fewer ads. It’s a shame, because the developers clearly put effort into making a great game, but the aggressive monetization just kills it.

More levels. Great game but got to level 100 and doesn’t seem to be any more levels. Just repeats random levels. Will there be any more?

Too many ads and too long.. It is a great game, however the ads are too much. There is one after every level and it is at least a minute long each time. I will be deleting it due to this.

Level 140 has 5 words to match. Hi l love playing this game and l have reached level 140 and there are 5 words to connect as the 5th word doesn’t relate to another set of words the game won’t go forward to next level l tried to play it 3 times but still the same A game worth playing but please fix it

Too many ads!. I’ve tried for weeks to persevere with the ridiculous amount of ads, but it’s impossible to play when ads are constantly disrupting the flow of the game. I understand ads are necessary, but before, during and after every level is just greedy. It’s such a shame developers feel the need to do this because the game itself is very enjoyable, however I will be deleting it.

Makes you think. Much better than I imagined. You have to think- it’s simple and logical. It really makes you exercise your brain, to remain flexible using deductive reasoning and lateral thinking. Great app.

Great game but ads during games YUK!. It is a great game and I don’t mind ads before and after games . However ad breaks during a game that only takes a couple of minutes to play is very annoying. It means you watch ads longer than you actually play which is sadly very disappointing. So not sure how long I will stick with this game because of these ads during the actual gameplay.

Enjoyable but number of ads is ridiculous. I’ve enjoyed this game but the app lies when it claims you can watch one ad for a clue - it’s always at least 2 ads. Just timed the recent ones - nearly 4 minutes of ads for one clue. As for the response that it needs that many ads to remain a ‘free app’ - what a joke. Might keep it as an occasional game but will probably delete. Disappointing as it could be a really good game.

Too many ads!!. A great mobile game unfortunately completely ruined by the sheer volume of ads, and no ability to pay to remove them. You can’t even finish one puzzle without being shown like three ads- crazy.

Stuck level. I have really enjoyed this game - the ads are annoying but I can put up with them - the problem I have now is that the game is stuck on level 34. Even suffering through the ads to get hints in an attempt to move on. But one of the hints colour for one of the final words is in a colour that isn’t present in this level at all. E.g. there is “patient, nurse, medical, syringe” that are grouped correctly, and then “trapeze, clown, juggler, acrobat” which also fit and match the hints that I’ve watched in order to get past this level. The two words left over are “lion” and the symbol of a “basketball” so neither of these fit the last 2 rows grouping, and as mentioned above, the word “lion” is in a colour not present in this level. So, now I can’t progress which is disappointing and I have updated the app with no success. Guess I will be deleting and moving on.

Super fun but would love a inbuilt dictionary. Super fun works well, and minimal adds would just love if there were inbuilt definitions or a dictionary cause I often find myself going in and out googling words I don’t know lol

Great game - poorly executed. This is a great game and I really enjoy the challenge of aligning the tiles, however the amount of ads and the frequency with which they occur is beyond frustrating. I find myself ceasing the game because of this and feel as though I may eventually delete the app as I know there are other similar games with less ads. I understand the need for them but please offer a paid version so that people have a choice. Ads at the end of a level are understandable but when you are hit with a long ad just for clicking on the main menu, arghhh!!

Great brain challenge however….. There is no instructions anywhere. When I can’t find the fourth word to fit in a group I ask for a hint. That just highlights 2 random words. 2 words that go together which were already found as they are obvious. But nothing to show you the solution.

Connect Word. Downloaded app again after update and am addicted! I don’t mind the 30 sec ads or less, but really find the longer ones annoying, ( ie Royal Match). The diagrams seem to be better, or maybe I am just getting used to them? However, a function where we can press on the diagram and see what it stands for , or some other way, would be helpful when my memory lets me down. I would probably pay a one off fee though to get rid of ads. Don’t mind them to get a hint.

Not suitable for young children. Love the game but will probably delete because the ads are killing me. Too many too long. And it’s the ads that aren’t suitable for young children so should be rated at least 12+. Also needs a high contrast option to improve visibility of words.

Fun but frustrating. The game is quite good however incredibly frustrating when you encounter difficulties and can form most of all groups, but then have to watch multiple ads for hints,to be shown what you have already worked out. On top of that, ads between levels on daily plays as well as ad breaks within levels. I get needing ads, but there are WAY too many.

A really enjoyable game, spoiled by ads. I would pay for an ad free version of this game. It’s an enjoyable and sometimes puzzling, sometimes easy game that is nicely balanced. However the ratio of game time to ad time is all wrong, especially (and I appreciate this is not the developer’s fault) when the ads themselves are repetitive and really badly designed. I’m playing for now,but know that delete button is surely coming - which is a shame because this nicely done game deserves better.

Game review. This game is a fun relaxing and it gets you to think on which word goes where and it’s very relaxing and very easy to play when you get the Hang of it so try it out for yourself to see how relaxing it is

Wierd connections, need to live in northern hemisphere. Very wierd connections and connections that don’t make sense to everyone. When you join 4 and they become a group there is a small symbol only to remind you what that group was so if you have many groups you struggle to quickly connect them to others. Very annoying and too many ads too.

Don’t download this. Terrible app - the amount of ads is ridiculous. Kept freezing on a certain level and everytime I tried to get it to unfreeze it served me an ad. When I went up to the menu to see if there was a trick to unfreeze it served me another ad. The concept is good but ads make this a very unfriendly user experience. Deleted it - never again.

Att developers. I am enjoying the game. Some of the categories really require outside the box thinking! And, I leaned a few new words/nouns. I have a few suggestions (I couldn’t email via ‘contact us’ as it wanted to use the ‘mail’ app and I don’t use that): 1. When something is grouped with a picture, it would be helpful to know the picture means. If we could touch it for a written reminder of the category that would be awesome. 2. Too many ads! Can I pay a one off fee of maybe $10 to not have ad breaks and ads between levels (and during levels 😖? Honestly, this is my main reason I delete apps. The banners at the bottom and an ad for a free hint is fine, it’s the endless interruptions to the game that drive me nuts. 3. To make up removing the disruptive ads, you could sell ‘hint bundles’ - an option to buy a bunch of hints. 4. I would love it to connect to Game Centre or (if it has to) FB, save & play with friends. This would mean I could play on my iPad or iphone & my progress will transfer to a new phone when I get one. (I stopped playing a game when I got my new phone as it didn’t have this option and I wasn’t doing 256 levels again! All the money from their banner ads is going elsewhere. Thanks for listening.

It is a fun game but unless you love watching ads for longer than you’re allowed to play the game then forget it.. what a disgrace. **Updated** according to their reply, the Developer seems to think the frequency of ads is acceptable. The ads are way over the top and I can only assume it is a way to make decent money whilst skirting Apples IAP commission..

Game is glitching. I love playing this game but I’ve found that when I put 4 words together they don’t connect into after I’ve had to watch an ad for a hint. Getting pretty annoying when I know I’ve made the connection but it won’t accept it til I watch an ad for a hint

Great game too many ads. Ads before, during, and at the end of each level. And sometimes multiple ads during if you accidentally close your phone, or put it down to check something. No way to turn the ads off (not even to pay to turn them off). Game itself is pretty good but not worth the amount of ads.

Way too many ads!!. Fun, challenging game. But the amount of ads is just ridiculous! There are some levels that play an ad at the beginning of the level, have an ad break in the middle of the level, then another ad at the end of the level! Getting to the point where it takes all the fun out because I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game!

Love this game!. So yep I’ll agree there’s heaps of ads, but reading through the responses it seems that’s how we are able to play this amazingly addictive game! I swap between apps whenever the ads drive me nuts and I will absolutely be buying the no ads version 😂

Full of ads and No notice that you can’t complete the game. It’s quite a fun game, but very frustrating. It seems to me that when you get to a point where a game can’t be completed that there is no notification of this. You just keep trying every combination and nothing happens. You have to go to settings and cancel the game. Also huge numbers of ads, even mid game

Addicted. I really love this app so much, it keeps me relaxed and I play it everyday. Although I do spend a lot of time looking at it, I wish it had a dark appearance feature, the brightness of the app strains my eyes sometimes

Ads. The ad for this game within another game said there were no ads! Why are there ads then just going onto the next level? Downloaded it 10 minutes ago & now deleting. Could have been good without ads, but there are lots and they are long ones too!

Gameplay is great but so many long ad interruptions including mid game.. The gameplay is much better in this app than many others. Unfortunately the constant interruption with only long ads is incredibly tedious and frustrating. Consider introducing a paid option for removing them, mixing shorter ads in between the longer ones and don’t allow ad break throughs mid game. Also an ad being triggered by clicking ‘main menu’ is a face slap to the user. The balance of customer experience vs revenue is off currently.

Enjoyable and fun game. Spent hours playing. Love it! However would be better if you can save your progress, and sync between iPad and iPhone .

Feedback. Love love love this game. Even when I get annoyed because some of the matches felt so sneaky, I still enjoy the brain teaser. Even my girlfriend plays it over my shoulder while we’re in bed. However I do have a couple of suggestions. 1. Once the board has been complete, there should be a secondary action you have to take to start the next board. Like tapping on the screen, click “complete”… so that you have a moment to read the matches you’ve made and what they have in common. 2. Once a match has been made and a row complete, I’d like to be able to tap on the word and see a definition of the word. Many of them I don’t know and have just guessed right, being able to then learn what the word means would make this all the more educational. Other than that I think it’s a great game, I’ve definitely learned some stuff, like names of rivers around the world and traditional attires. Not sure how often I’ll use that information, but good to have nonetheless

Fun while it lasts. It started off fun and interesting, but after a while it’s rather repetitive with obvious connections that don’t work. Add to the fact the intrusive ads that get progressively worse with each level it’s just not worth my time as I spend more time watching ads than playing the game.

Too many ads!. You keep saying you are going to adjust the amount of ads in the game but they’re out of control. There’s an ad after every game (which might be tolerable) but also several during the game. I am now spending more time watching stupid ads than playing the actual game! So I’m done! Either allow a payment to eliminate ads all together or reduce the number to just at the end of each game. I’ll come back when you’ve fixed it

UI Update?. Love this game, me and my family have it on all our devices and compete who can finish the dailies first. But my issue isn’t a big one, all of their devices all have the new UI while playing, and mine appears to be stuck as the old interface even after doing the latest update. I really enjoy the look of the new UI and how sleek it is just hoping I can finally have the same on my phone one day.

Too many Temu Ads!!. I love this game but am considering deleting it because the frequency and length of the Temu ads are unacceptable. You can’t click out of them by pressing the x in the corner without having to go to their website multiple times and having to sit through that spinning wheel.

Not many levels. Loved the game but appear to be at the end possibly? Or there is a glitch in level 140 and I can’t get past. If it is the final level I hope you write more - but telling us it is the end would be great so we know!

Too many ads in the middle of levels. I really like the premise of this game. The levels I managed to play were fun and engaging. However, I only got to level 3 and I had 3 ads in the middle of the level. This has repeated in subsequent levels. I understand ads between the levels but ads in the middle of playing are disruptive and annoying. Now deleting the game as it’s too difficult to play with so many interruptions and not fun anymore.

Love the challenge!. I really enjoy this game, however, there could be some improvements. Firstly and most importantly, I had an issue with my phone and had to do a factory reset. Because there’s no login options to save progress to anywhere, I lost all my progress!! Now I’m starting from scratch again. Also, I wish I could pay to get rid of the ads in between each level. There’s just sooo many ads!!! And thirdly, there’s spelling mistakes. The further I got through, the more mistakes I came across. Otherwise, loving the challenge of this game. The others are way too easy.

They’ve gotten greedy.. They no longer provide the option to watch a video for a hint. Instead, you need to pay by coins which are few and far between. I have played this every day for months and still don’t have enough coins to buy one hint. I have to buy them. They drop to a one star rating.

Fun Game. This game is fun. Rather like solitaire in that you often get to the point where there are no more moves because the word tiles you need haven’t dropped. I wish the game would tell you: “No more moves,” and give you the option of switching out a couple of word tiles instead of having to start over. I’m on level 33 and each level seems to get more challenging. But all in all a great game.

Ok at first. I don’t want to do anagrams. If I wanted to play word unscramble I would play that, but there is no way to skip these levels. It makes me not want to play. Also the hints that you used go away if you clear the app which is very frustrating since I always forget and close it before I’m done. It’s a very frustrating game overall and as you play more it gets more annoying. But occasionally the levels are fun.

All ads. There are far better words games out there that DO NOT interrupt you multiple times DURING the game itself. Plus ads in between every single game. Don't waste your time.

Level 140 had a glitch but tech team did a quick fix. The grouping of the store types is not recognized so level can’t be completed. Otherwise, was enjoying the game. Updated to 5 stars.

Uh…. Review Update June 27: this game is garbage. 3 stars down to 1. Deleted. This game seems more like a vehicle for playing ads. The game, though interesting, is too easy. 52 levels without a problem or using hints. It like the game is made to keep you going so they can bombard you with ads every 3min. Basic time sink. Update: developer contacted me saying ads are necessary as the game is free. COMPLETELY understand that. It’s the sheer volume of ads that is the deterrent. Far too frequent. And ads that need 5-8 clicks to get thru is unacceptable when they are ever few minutes.

Useless hints, Invasive Ads. I like the game but the hints are useless. They are not intuitive at all. I have one row of correct tiles and missing one and the hint only highlights two of the tiles I already have! Every time. 900 coins wasted every time for basically no hint at all. Also there are so many ads which are very disruptive as you’re trying to think. And no option to buy out of the ads. Worst of all, most of the ads are very invasive. They keep opening up in my browser! I’m not sure that is even legal.

Love this but…. I discovered this game last night and I love it. The only thing are the ads. When you’re new to the game, it’ll let you go a decent amount without one popping up but after that, it’s practically every other level. I know ads keep the game free but is there a Buy Now ad free option in the future? I’m the type of person that if I REALLY like a game, I’ll buy it just so I don’t have them. I still give it 5 stars though — 4 stars with the ads.

They deliberately block people from progressing just to force ad views.. I made it to level 8 without needing to watch ads for help. On level 8, I placed the words in a row that clearly went together, but nothing lit up. I tried every possible option, replayed the same words multiple times—still nothing. Eventually, I gave up and watched the stupid ad for a hint. The hint lit up two of the words I had already been using in that exact row. I placed them again, just like before, and guess what? It finally lit up. It wasn’t working before the ad. I deleted the app after that. Watching one or two ads is fine, but deliberately blocking people from progressing just to force ad views is shady and wrong.

Has a bad glitch not fixed yet. I do like this game. Ads are middle of the block—not enough to aggravate, but enough to huff. What I don’t like is the glitch that started a week or two ago. It will put two tiles in the same spot, and there is no way of separating them. It’s a real annoyance when you can’t get the right tile picked to move as it’s totally arbitrary. I’ve exited and close the game, but it doesn’t fix the problem, even for the current game. I was hoping they would fix it, but it’s getting worse, not better.

Mostly fun, but dragged down by the awful hint system and too many ads.. The hints so far are absolutely awful. Firstly, they often just tell me something I already know, by telling me two things I already have in the same row, do in fact, go in the same row. I already knew that, that’s why I put them in the same row. I should not have to go through 5 hints just to get one that’s actually useful. Secondly, since hints require watching ads to get, don’t have your stupid “ad break” occur right after I’ve just watched 5 ads for a single hint. These two things combined are seriously undermining the otherwise fun puzzle game.

Overall pretty good game. I like this game over all, I think it’s pretty challenging and really makes you use your brain and think which is great. The only issue I have is that when I’m trying to figure out the vertical group I have a lot of trouble rearranging the words because I’ll drag them where I want them to go and they won’t move. I drag them over and over again to the same spot only for it not to work. The drag and drop feature works perfectly fine when playing the regular gameplay it’s only with the extra column that I have issues.

Way too many ads. I really enjoy this game and have had it for a while, Level 376, and the ads have always been fine, but in the past month or two they've been getting way worse and it's to the point where I get pop up ads literally every ~30 seconds, I've been counting. It's basically unplayable at this point. I understand ads are what fund free games, but they've started showing up with no warning while I'm in the middle of clicking and I can't even think! I will keep playing because I don't have any other options and just lack the werewithal to drop it, but it is extremely frustrating :(

Ads are egregious. This is a fun game but you can barely play it without 2 minute long ads constantly popping up. It says there is an ad free version you can pay for but I can’t find that within the game itself so until they make that easily available, I wouldn’t waste your time or aggravation. The game itself is awesome but the ads make it hardly possible to play. I understand ads are how they keep it free but maybe another source of revenue is paying for an ad-free version. Also why do all the ads have to be so long and there isn’t an easy way to dismiss them when they are complete. It’s all very manipulative. Pretty sad as the game itself is so fun.

Amazing game, unplayable due to ads.. This is a great concept for a game. It really makes you think and is great brain exercise. I truly enjoy it, even when I get stuck and think there’s no possible solution there always is if you think about it critically and logically. With that being said…the ads are absolutely unbearable. An ad between every single puzzle, plus forced ad breaks in the MIDDLE of each puzzle. It ruins the experience and makes the game unplayable for me. They offer no option to pay for no ads or to buy the game which I gladly would if they offered it. Unfortunately I can’t take the amount of forced ads and will be uninstalling the game simply due to this. Such a disappointment. To the developers: do better.

Dangerous scam ads. (Rated 5 stars so this reaches more ppl) I’ve loved this game for the last few months and have spent a lot of time playing it, I’m on level 113 and twice I have accidentally hit the bottom ad and was immediately sent to a “security protection center” I immediately clicked out and googled its legitimacy and it is 100% a scam that convinces you that you have malware and requests your personal and financial info, Im deleting this game and I’d recommend others do too and hope that the that the developers get rid of the ads.

So…many…ads. Okay so this game has been my recent hyperfixation and I love it so much but please. Give us less ads or let me pay for it because why am I getting ads for loading in the game, mid level, every stage, completing the level, AND exiting the level. I know you need ads to keep the game free but please, give me an option to pay for no ads, make it under three dollars and I’m buying it expeditiously. Or give us less ads because there’s no reason that you have to give this many ads..it makes the game less enjoyable and not as fun. Love the game but allow ad removal. I recently downloaded the game and I’m LOVING it but please allow an ad free option for purchase. So many of us would purchase the game. Not sure how long I can handle the ads before I stop playing all together though. I already find myself closing the app when the ads pop up. Sometimes I have a few minutes to play (waiting in line, waiting in the car, taking a break etc) but an ad pops up and I don’t want to waste those few minutes watching an ad. Slower Final View. Rather than rewrite my problem is the same as hers. Sometimes because game ends so abruptly, I don’t know what the last category connected is. Love this game. I noticed, however, in an ad for this game there was another screen where there were categories and you had to put the words in the proper categories. How come this isn’t available? It looks like in the main menu there would be a choice between “connect” and “word”but there is only one game choice (aside from the daily challenge). I’m already up to level 238. Is there a level we have to reach to play that other game where you put the words in the right category? Also, I agree with other reviews about too much ads. And they’re not all short breaks, either.

Could be fun, but mostly just frustrating. I enjoyed this game for like the first 10 levels. Then it gets harder and harder to make associations that make sense to continue the current level. The hints do mostly nothing because you have the basic associations already down and correct, so you’re having to sit through multiple 1-2 minute ads to be able to get any more hints to have even the slightest idea. The level that made me quit was 13. I had words for something like things found in the garage, or things found in a garden, or things that kept you warm, and no combination of anything was furthering my game. I’m not sitting through 3-4 ads to try to figure out what weird word goes where.

Love it, but…. There are way too many ads during the levels that take the fun out of it. At this point, I’d be willing to have a pay option to remove ads, aside from watching an ad for the hints (that part doesn’t bother me). In addition to that, maybe a daily check-in that’ll reward you a hint each day or after so many consecutive check-ins. The game tends to lag or get stuck a lot. It would be nice to be able to connect to Facebook or Game Center or something so I can play across multiple devices without losing progress.

Great game, but…. The game is really good. The levels vary in difficulty throughout, so I didn’t get bored or get too frustrated. It makes me think, and I learn new words. HOWEVER, the ads are absolutely ridiculous. It started with one ad after each level, which is fine. Then it became an ad during the level. Annoying, but it’s a free game, so deal with it. Now, it’s an ad just about every three minutes. It affects the game because sometimes the ad pops up as I’m moving a word and it gets stuck. I have to close the app to fix it. It’s to the point that I may just delete the app because there’s more irritation than enjoyment now.

Fun, but Too many ads. I understand ads help the app. However the constant bombardment of ads interrupting the game is annoying. Like the forced ads in the middle of game play in the middle of a level is so annoying and frustrating. The game is fun. But less ads would be great. An app does not need to have ads pop up every second of the game to generate revenue. I’m sure most people agree that the ads are too much. And there may come a point when people just delete the app because of the ads.

Glitchy game and can't complete levels. I'm playing this game to get points on Fetch and have to reach certain levels. My next requirement was to finish level 140. I get to the last 4 options on level 140 thinking I'm done but they don't say they match - but they are the last four so they have to. I exit out of the game and try again, and the last four still aren't connecting. One of the options has now completely switched to a previous option that has already been matched. Then I restart the level. The exact same thing happens and the last four don't connect and I am unable to complete the level, therefore not being able to get any points from Fetch. So frustrating!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful App! Ads should be optional.. I am no genius, but I am an actual linguist and a total nerd. I never get tired of learning through this app. As expansive as my lexicon is, I have actually learned a number of words, and even concepts through game! I’m also not that young. I’m a 47 year old linguist (a really good one) with almost 30 years of experience. So, if I’m learning new words in my late 40s (learning is a bit harder at this age particular learning concepts), I think most that use the app, can definitely learn something new.

Like but… phishing pop up ads in my browser. Was having a lot of fun with this and would give it 5 stars. However, recently it has started popping up browser tabs designed to scare ou into thinking you have a virus, or that it’s scanning something, or that your McAfee has expired etc. It just hijacks my iPad and have to close the tab each time, despite having pop ups blocked in browser settings. Only happens using this game, so it is definitely related. Mobile apps should have nothing to do with browser. Will uninstall if it continues.

Problem losing hints. I really enjoy this game, but it does have a lot of ads, many of which are a full 2 minutes long, but what is worse, is that hints are lost if game times out for any reason! The words stay in the right order, but the color codes are gone, then if ask for another hint, get the same hints you already did that lost the color codes on. It is very frustrating. Please fix this and ditch the long ads. A short ad is enough to get the message.

Glitch on level 140. I do enjoy playing this game however there is an error on level 140 that needs to be fixed. One of the pictures of the stores once combined changes to an egg therefore when I try to combine all the store pictures it doesn’t complete the word association part cuz the game thinks that picture should go to the bird group but that’s not right. Please fix this issue cuz can’t complete level and thus continue playing game. Will have to delete otherwise if not fixed. Thank you.

Ads are more frequent and distract from playing. I don’t mind the ads that show up after completing a level, or even after completing a row, but the pop up websites that happen unexpectedly are a real pain. Not only do they cause a new tab in my browser each time, some ads are deceiving because they imply they are “scanning” your device for problems. I’m writing this review now because I had 3 popups within seconds of each other. I really like the game otherwise so I gave a 4 instead of a 3. I know you have to make a living but if the ads become too distracting I’m moving to another game.

Fun, but the ads are insane. I love this game. It would be 5 stars except for 2 issues. I wish there was a way to earn hints, even if its just getting a few every day, or earning a certain number if you don’t use any to solve, or solve within a certain time frame . The second thing is the ads. It’s unbelievable how often they pop up. I get it in between levels, but not when I’m in the middle of a level. That’s ridiculous. I would gladly pay for an ad-free experience. I do that for games I enjoy. At this point, I’m honestly considering deleting the app as they are so frequent it has become a nuisance.

Way too many ads. I get it, ads drive revenue for free apps. However, there is a limit before it just gets flat out annoying. When I first downloaded this app, it seemed like I could at least get through a few levels without having to watch an add, which was totally fine. Now it feels like I am spending more time watching ads than playing the game. Finish a level? 80 second ad. Stuck on a level for a few minutes? Yup that’s another 80 second ad. I want to like this game and the concept is great. It is a shame that the frequency and length of ads will likely make it so it is uninstalled by the end of the month.

Love it. I have really been enjoying this game until recently when pop up McAfee ads have been showing up in the middle of everything. I don’t mind the normal ads between levels or for hints but these seem like they are phishing and not the real thing .I don’t have any accounts with them. Is there something that can prevent this? Otherwise like I said I really like the concept of the game and am finding out I know more than I think!

Need to be able to pay for no adds. I absolutely love this game but the ads are getting more and more frequent. I’m fine watching one if I really need a hint but otherwise, you’ve gotta make it so I can just pay a few bucks for a no ads and experience. If I sit there for a few minutes without looking at my phone or touching the screen, another ad will come up before I’ve even finished the level. It’s getting really annoying at this point. I’d happily pay to not have ads.

Banner ads forcing weird safari tabs open?. This game is pretty fun and I enjoy playing it however i think the banner ads at the bottom are forcing open weird Safari tabs talking about malware on my phone. The game seems legit and I can tolerate the ads between rounds but the forced tabs with concerning content makes me wary of continuing to play this game. I also notice that the game description in the Apple Store says that there are in-app purchases and there aren’t any that I’ve seen thus far and I’m at level 40. I would also like to see what new updates and bugs were fixed in the updates section instead of just saying stuff was fixed,have fun.

Fun, some bugs. Up until level 133, I loved it. It was challenging enough without being impossible. But one level will not drop down the final word I need to squish together the final group of words so the final group of words can drop down and I can finish the level. I’ve contacted support and no one else has apparently had this issue so I’m out of luck. I’ve restarted the game many times as well as restarting that level and nothing has worked. I deleted the game entirely and might try again to see if deleting all the former data worked. But it is a fun game.

Fun but would be better without ads.. Game is fun and a good for when you only have a few minutes to kill without worrying that you will loose your progress. It’s easy to jump in and out as you have time. Only complaint is the pervasive ads. I understand have ads after finishing a level or to earn more hints, but the number of times the game progress during one level is stopped for an ad almost makes it unplayable. There isn’t any way to pay to stop the ads either.

Glitch. I hate the multitude of ads during this game and understand your reason for the ads and see the many complaints about them. I am on level 650, frustrated by the glitch in the game. I can no longer get the extra points. When the ads pop up, they black my screen, timeout my phone and I have no choice but to exit the game and start again. The good thing is that I don’t lose my game progress, just the extra points. I was hoping the glitch would be fixed by now. I even tried troubleshooting my iPhone 17 (not sure if knowing the operating system helps.) I LOVE THE GAME but all the ads and glitches overshadow the joy I have for your game. No need to respond as I will be deleting this app once I post this review. Hope it helps others. Thank you.

If you love ads…. If you LOVE Gossip Harbor and Royal Match ads this game is for YOU. It’s actually a good game. But with mid-round, between level and random ads, it’s virtually unplayable. Oh, and if you think..that’s ok, I’ll just watch the ad. Nope. The ads are not able to be exited once you see them. The option to X out only takes you to the game being advertised. You literally have to restart the game to clear the ad. It’s a shame that this is goal of most games here.. redirect to the big scam games like Royal Match and Gossip Harbor type games. Why do you go through the trouble of creating games just to sell out to scam games advertising $$$? Don’t waste your time with this, or any other game that has micro transactions.

Annoying Ads. I actually really like this game. This would be a game I would actually spend money on. However I am not playing anymore. Wayyyyyyyyy too many ads. And I have another game by you, in which once I paid the ad fee, I could enjoy playing that game as often as I would like without the disruption of an ad every five minutes. This game, however, does not give me an option to pay for the ads to go away which is disappointing because I would gladly pay for hints to the harder levels. I hope you to update to allow for this. This is the reason why I gave a 3 instead of a 5.

Annoying ads. I really enjoy this game. But the pop-in ads during a game are so annoying I’m going to start looking for another game like this. The ads between levels are bad enough, but expected in today’s world I guess. But interrupting an ongoing game - even though they’re very short - is just too much. I had 5 recently in the space of one level! I wonder when game developers are going to understand that we users really hate timers and ads. I’d rather pay upfront for a game like in the “old days” — and no I’m not going to pay a huge monthly subscription fee!

Shame…. Developer feedback on other comments states attempting to balance ad to game play ratio and provide a paid option for no ads, however, I cannot imagine the developer is serious based on the volume of ads I’m encountering over a month since such comment was made…deleting the app. Shame because it has massive potential. I’d have sat through a quick ad or two every few levels, but not minute long ads after every level and even in the middle of levels (ridiculous!!!) Good luck. I hope you find enough suckers willing to put up with your cash grab…not this one. I’ll be making sure I don’t make the mistake of downloading any other apps you develop.🤷‍♂️

Could do better. 5 spaces to connect 5 words is confusing when some of the words are not yet on the page. They will show up later. And some are pictures & lousy ones at that. Sometimes it doesn't say what the category is when u accidentally get it right. I'd like to know what made them similar words. Also tips will be given for watching an ad & when the tip is for words you already lined up in a category, that is a sham. Obviously i am searching for the ones i didn't have, not the ones i did. Whats the point of that other than watching an ad for nothing. Could be a better game. Needs improvement.

Add the option to purchase remove ads.. I gave it one star to get attention. I get bored with games quickly, even after buying ad-free versions. I usually don't waste time on games with annoying ads, but this is an exception. The game is really good, thank you to the developer! But why don't you want to make money from it? I'm sure many people would be willing to pay for an ad-free version. Or do you earn more from ads? Yes, I like the game, that's a fact, but I don't know how long my patience will last with the endless annoying ads, when I could be spending that time enjoying myself. I'll probably have to look for an alternative, which is a shame, this game has huge potential that you might lose.

Ads and bugs. I wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t solve the puzzle on my own, so I asked for a hint. The ads are ridiculously long or they play the same ad FOUR TIMES back to back to get one reward. After you get the hint, you can’t close the app or the hint will disappear. If you ask for a hint, you go through the ads to get the same hint it already gave you! And even if you just watched an ad OOPS! Time for an “ad break!”It’s beyond absurd and greedy. And don’t give me the copy and paste answer of “but the game is free.” Many MANY other apps are free and don’t do ads like this. Go play a different app.

Advertisement trap. I love this game more than most, as it truly makes you addicted to finding the solution of the common group denominator. Love using my brain, but won’t lie I had to use google a few times after using a hint to find out their connection. I had to finally close it up from the stress of the lengthy ads. I don’t mind and understand why the ads, and I never pay to not have them with other games, but these are by far the lengthiest and annoyingly repetitive I’ve ever experienced, thus the rating of only 4!

Results Move too Fast!. I enjoy Connect Word including the Daily Challenge. However, once you have a solution, the items collapse too quickly or you reach the end of the solution and the puzzle closes too fast. I often don’t have a chance to realize what I did right to come up with an answer! Also, many of the icons are not self explanatory. It would be helpful if I pressed on an icon and its name popped up. This would be especially helpful if I put a puzzle aside and came back later in the day. Of course I hate the ads but they have to make up for a free app.

Way too many ads!!!!!. This game is really great, it’s fun and engaging and keeps my brain stimulated. But the amount of ADS!!! It’s ridiculous! I’ll be playing a level and every 3 seconds an ad slides up from I don’t even know where! Really really annoying. I’m considering getting rid of the app because of how irritating these ads are. I think I might delete it and try something else. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. P.S. the ads from that Gossip Harbor game are gross and really disturbing, if you’re going to put ads on can it at least be a less visually creepy game?

My favorite game!. This game is seriously the most addicting game I have downloaded!! Only been playing for about 3-5 days and am already on level 50 something. It’s quite relaxing. And best part they’re not asking for money! Yea you gotta deal with ads but as a person who spends way to much money on games to keep playing, this one’s perfect. I swear I’ve learned more from playing this game than in school lol I’ve had to google so many words and cuz I do I’ve learned a lot lol 🤣 Love this game!!!

Best Word Association Game. This game provides a good level of word associations. Categories r day to day groupings but pull on your education, personal life etc. This game after trying almost all of the others provides success, challenge, provokes insight and curiosity and relies on your entire “person-ality” to critically think and make associations that I wish I would have learned more when I ignored all those vocabulary assignments, needing to know more for exams and getting on with life feeling a large deficit with not the everyday terminology. This game provides education, fun, and challenge. ‘ ‘ ‘

Love this game!. I am in love with this game. I am in my late 60’s and this is a great game to help keep the old brain thinking and it’s a good way to expand vocabulary and knowledge. I do agree with others that it would be nice to be able to review answers after a round. It would also be nice to have a way to earn hints after X amount of rounds. I also BEG you to offer a “No Ads” option. If I like a game like this, I am willing to pay to get rid of random ads and just allow us to earn hints by watching an ad. Thanks!

So disappointed!!!. I really liked this game a lot but I couldn’t handle the ads! I thought it was going to be a keeper until after playing a few levels the ADS started up after every level. I thought, okay, I can deal with them since I liked it so much but then a 120 second ad popped up. I figured at 90 seconds I’d be able to start getting out of it. Then 60 seconds, then 30 seconds…it made me sit through the entire 120 seconds! Two minutes ads isn’t worth it to me! My time means so much more to me than sitting through the entire ad. It’s a good game. One that I would have loved to keep but in the end I would have spent as much time (or more) watching ads than enjoying the game. Sooo disappointed 😔

Too many ads. I really enjoy this game as it challenges my vocabulary as well as knowledge. However, there is an ad after each level, when you ask for a hint and sometimes there is an ad break during the level. This is quite off putting. I would pay a one-time fee for zero ads during play as long as it’s not an absurd amount. I can see where you may have to watch an ad to get a hint, and that is fine, but every other game I play has an option to pay for zero ads. Most of those cost between $2-$10, averaging $5. Please add this feature to the game!

Enjoyable game. This game would get 5 stars if it didn’t collect Identity information. I saw it in ads in another game, and made an exception in what I download. The only this I would change is leaving the round up for several more seconds before going to the menu. I’d like to see all the categories before it goes to the menu page. The game got worse. Websites pop up taking me away from the game. I got tired of ads after every level. I’ve downgraded the game to 3 stars. It was fun while it lasted, but the websites popping up, and too many ads took the fun away. Pity because I learned new words.

Can’t get off ad screen. I was really enjoying the game and was on level 3 when I came across the ad that would not go away. On the first couple of ads I was able to let them play and then exit out. But by the third one the “X” didn’t respond when I tapped on it. The only thing that worked was if I tapped to download the Royal Kingdom game on the ad, which I didn’t want to do. Because this seemed like the only way to get off the screen with the ad, I was left with no other choice but to uninstall the game. Unfortunately I will not be redownloading. I was only on level 3 and after reading all of the reviews about endless ads, I think I’ll be just fine. This game seemed to have potential, but I’m not going to be forced to download a game I don’t want just to continue playing this free game.

Please Ad-Free Option!. I love playing this game, but PLEASE, PLEASE bring us an Ad-Free option 🙏🏻. I understand ads for hints when you’re stuck, but ads at every level progression too?? AND many of them are longer than 2 minutes without an option of exiting to give up the hint… or to just restart. It can be VERY frustrating. I also would like some more instructions to refer back to. After the hint is given, it doesn’t say how to group the 2 words with another 2 words to complete the group ( if that color/subject isn’t shown). So i have to endure another ad to restart level. Again, I love this game, but it has some definite hinks.

Love this game …. but there is always a but. This game is fun, challenging and teaches me a lot. BUT the pop-up ads that open in a browser and look like they’re scanning your device are a HUGE turn-off. It’s bad enough that we deal with regular ads in game play, I can handle that, but then suddenly in the midst of a level you’re thrown to a browser that’s running a SCAM. TURN OFF the pop-ups because it’s clear to me from recent reviews that everyone hates them. I’m on Level 338 so I’ve been playing a lot. Please. Stop doing this. Pay attention to your reviews. People hate them!
