Don't take it seriously.. This is not real. It only got two stars from me because it was fun watching my kids freak out. Other than that, meh. I'll probably be removing the app in a week.

I have a 1000 questions. Is there anyway, I’m talking, ANYWAY, that an app, can override access can over ride, access to a phone. I have looked every where to see if this app has access to microphone, camera, speech, data, all of it!!!! And I find it doesn’t. That being said. I’m freaked out, because everything makes sense, that comes across. Why am I talking to my dead grandmaw on my Iphone tho 🤷🏼‍♀️

Love it, butThere is an issue. When I try to click on the history panel it closes the app when I tried restarting it it didn’t work it won’t let me see the history

No sound. Volume doesn’t work but my speakers do

Some real, some added. When I first used it, it was like a conversation. "Careful what you say", "infernal typesetter". But it also said my name. "Calm Yvonne". Had it going when we went to a graveyard. I had bronchitis, as we got out (after a bout of coughing) it said, "croup". Other times it would just do random words. So, it can work. And it saves the words.

No sound. There was no way for me to turn the sound on I couldn’t hear anything I paid $1.99 to watch the screen have blips on it very disappointed.

This is legit. I downloaded the app out of curiosity and boredom. I was sitting on the couch watching television in the first couple things it said was “black” than “white”. I am assuming it was referring to the people on TV. Next the voice box said “ring” which was referring to a ring being showed on television. Next there was a shoe commercial and a voice box said “feet”. I had goosebumps all over me at this point. The next thing it said was “couch” which was what I was sitting on. I was watching teen mom and the voice box then says “youth”. After that I’ve been getting nothing for the past 30 minutes. I’m assuming it was a spirit stopping by to watch TV with me.

Fix for no sound. Hit the small button above the volume control on the left side of the phone. Phone should change from mute to sound on. Reboot and try again. Sound should work. Note that sounds may work otherwise. Still can be muted by that little button.

Disappointed. Just purchased this app and the sound does not work. I read reviews about other people having the same issue. Not sure why it works for some people and not everyone. Glad I did not spend a lot of money on this. 😞

Won’t believe until you see it. I understand people who don’t believe this cause it’s an iPhone app, but my god it works a little too well. After getting some weird responses that did not quite add up I went to my local library to see the directories and sure enough the person who’s name kept popping up lived and died in my house. I then found out he actually started haunting it when my grandfather took down a mural of his. I literally helped this spirit find peace and found old pictures of his mural that were in the basement from things he told us from this app. 10/10 you will never know what’s surrounding you until you try it, should be 100 dollars instead of .99 cents!

It’s real. At first, I thought was about to be a faker because there was no sound and I see a lot of people complaining there’s no sound I have my silence button flipped on my iPhone so I flipped it over as in my ringer would be on, and that was what fixed it now it works. It’s eerily accurate, kind of freaked out and now especially it being 3:30 in the morning

There’s no sound whatsoever !. Cannot make this thing work no matter what I’ve tried there’s no sound nothing seems operational. Anyone have any suggestions?

Voice is not working. The app works fine I got some massages but the voice feature is not working. I played the sample voice messages and I didn’t hear anything.

Real!!. This app is 100% real. I didn’t even speak out loud and I had my uncle come through as well as spirits in the attic and the basement. I thought I felt something touch my shoulder in my grandma’s house so I downloaded this app just because I was curious. Be careful!! This is NOT a game! I got the words dependable uncle, attic, under attic, basement, under basement, kinky hair (my hair is kinky), entity behind, shadow ahead, fear, relative connects, and affable girlfriend.

This is FAKE!!. I went to the Virginia graveyard and there was almost nothing! All I got was "Ship Warm Treasury Gardener Plague Loser". I tried mixing up the words, taking some words out, and STILL nothing! I was also standing next to my grandfathers grave half of the time and NONE of that was related to anything EVER! I'm not giving a 5 star unless I see something😡👎🖕 I CANT BELIEVE I SPENT A DOLLAR ON THIS!!!!!

Extremely accurate and legit.. I am a clairvoyant and clairaudient l medium and talk to the dead daily. I downloaded this app just to see if it got any similar things to what I was receiving, after reading a story about the creators of the app. I was absolutely amazed at the accuracy of it. This is the real deal guys. Occasionally what the word box says is being said will be wrong but it will be something very similar (same sounding), but the majority of the time what the box picks up is legit. I have found it to be highly accurate in reading my own family and friends, and when using the info in reads for others they also are able to validate the info given by the spirit box. Highly highly recommend this app. It’s my go to when I have clients ask me how they can talk to their loved ones themselves without having to seek out a medium.

Skeptical and Intrigued. Sometimes it says nonsense, other times it’s eerily accurate. I had fun with it and don’t see it as a waste of money even if it’s not real.

Still on the fence. I’m skeptical of this app still after a couple hours of use .. In my home which I have zero paranormal activity, the needle doesnt go past 1 ever, nor does random words pop up and thats after letting it run for a good 20 minutes. Nothing .... I went to a cemetery and I got loads of words which kinda made no sense but while I was there, someone way off into the wood was shooting a firearm and the app said gun ... When I’m home, the needle hardly moves but when I hit the cemetery, the needle bounces like crazy and words get thrown around alot.. I dont know what to make of it, I just wish the words were more understandable.

Love it and don’t love it. The sound won’t work for me which is disappointing since this is a paid app. However I turned this on went downstairs while my daughter played upstairs and it said pantry neat daughter! Crazy!

Not Happy In Fl. I'm not giving this any stars until I see it do something, I tried it at VA Cemetery and received nothing at all very disappointing. I'm going back this weekend I will try again. Is there something I should be doing to receive responses? Not Happy In Fl Ok I have to give it one star to be able to post.

Stupid. This app is ridiculously stupid. It just tosses random words out that make no sense to what you are asking and just it seems to run every word in a two minute interval then on 6 th response will pop out two back to back words. But the conversation is never about what you are asking. Don’t waste your money

Legit. I honestly think this app is legit. It takes a lot to convince me. My friends and I love to explore abandoned places, have travelled all over the east coast to do so and take pictures. It takes a lot to convince us all but we have definitely had our experiences. I’ve used this twice. Once in an abandoned mausoleum. The floor was covered in ice. It told us to “slip” while we were next to a casket that was cracked open. A few days later we went to an abandoned hospital in jersey. My girlfriend had a very weird experience there, she’s normally the buzzkill of the group that denies anything we get a little weirded out by. But she was freaking out. She took a debrillator she found as a souvenir. All day the next day my roommate and I heard strange noises around the house. Tonight my girl is home from work and we used it. We got the words “careful” and “mother” after it said mother I began to ask questions. The last one I asked was “does my girlfriend look like your mother?” I then got “entity behind” and “looks” I waited a while longer and got a name. Gladys. I googled the name of the hospital and the name Gladys. And found an obituary of a woman named Gladys who worked at the hospital when it was running, until it closed, and had died in 2012. Needless to say we are all actually spooked.

Disappointed. Try once, deleted in less than 30 minutes.

Old version worked. This one does not. I’ve turned it on twice in the last week and got NOTHING. not a single word, no matter how long I left it on or where I was. Previous version always started showing words after a couple of minutes. Skip it

Fake! Don’t spend the money. Don’t pay for this when you can get same apps for free, random words like any free app. I am very mad I spent the money on this thinking it was legit after reading all the reviews. NOT REAL, DONT BUY GET FREE APPS THAT WORK THE SAME.

This is real. Yesterday me and my friend played sarah sarita(which is a scary game with two people and two coins, an if you get to heads it’s a yes, two tails, no and a head and rails is maybe)anyway we put my phone in the center and kept saying sarah sarita are you here, the spirit box was going wild and it said janitor and a janitor killed her!!this app is really legit and cool thank you for whoever made this.

Eerily accurate. I am a professional investigator. And I have had many accurate words populate adhering to certain situations. Sometimes the ghosts try to be funny. One time. My schedule was busy. So My bedroom was very messy. I had drinking glasses all over my bedroom. The story box populated the words. Bedroom disaster. Glasses clean. Another time. It told me Hidden money. I was cleaning out my bureau and found a winning lottery ticket I otherwise would have thrown away. But I checked them just in case one of them was overlooked. Due to the app saying hidden money.

Ummmm. Please read.. So we’ve had the feeling we weren’t alone, so i downloaded this app. We have gotten a lot of activity on the low setting about every two minutes. After a week of using it my boyfriend woke up today with a huge bruise next to his eye. Nobody hit him. I started running the app & i asked “ did you do this to nicks face?” They answered “swollen face” “unsettled” & “cat” which i have two cats. I want to know on a side note where i can send these findings too? Or is there a forum or group where we share the results?

Scary. I’ve always believed in ghosts I never believed in any of these apps though until around a year or so ago. I was using the app with my cousin when her grandpa died recently. The words from the spirit box were “grandpa” “love” “hospital” “heart attack” Her grandpa died in the hospital of a heart attack. I don’t really remember everything but I believe in this app

Not VoiceOver compatible. Although this app will speak just a handful of words, it has been brought to my attention that there is a lot of "conversation" going on that is not spoken aloud. This is troublesome for me because I use the voice over option on my iPhone and for some reason this app is not compatible with voiceover. I cannot hear the text that is written on The screen. This would be a much better app if you were VoiceOver compatible!

Really good and accurate, also scary. Just got this app today and kinda played around with it. After just seeing the scale go up and down, I was kinda thinking I wasted a dollar. Then a word popped up, 'Deputy'. Then the word 'Distressed' popped up. Then 'Down', and 'Friend'. I thought it was a bunch of random words, but after I read all of the reviews of the app, I looked up on if any deputies near me went though something. It turns out, a deputy in my city had gotten shot. I believe this app is right on, and you should definitely use it if you don't believe it works.

Audio on IPhone does not work!. There are many complaints here about this problem, why don’t you post the fix here?!? What a waste of money!

It works. If you have an open mind and can decipher some of the words that might be off by one or two letters (sounds like)this app really does work. I've had somebody acknowledge my son by name, a stepbrother (I never talked to or abt) come through twice and give his name. I'm sure my grandfather and stepdad have come through and one of my grandmothers. I took my dog out for a potty walk and when I came back inside and looked down at my phone to see if anything came through, it said "beside garage" which is exactly where I took my dog to go potty. My husbnd was outside battling a tree stump when his stepfather came through, said his name and stated the two words "use crowbar". If you leave it on for too long you get a lot of random words or you get other people coming through so I don't leave it on for long periods of time.

Creepy weird. This thing freaked me out a little bit lol. I was able to speak to a good friend that passed away suddenly. I had a dream that something shady was going on in regards to his death, and I thought maybe he was murdered. This app is saying that happened and it’s weird. It also said my mom’s name because I just got off the phone with her, and I was about to leave the house to go see her for my birthday. My friend loved my mo like she were his own mother. Regardless, I said something out loud like “so, there was some shady sh$* going down then like I thought,” and the app suddenly said “Mouth.” There are a lot of words that coincide with the situation....it works. I’m giving 4 stars because I just started using it, but I will up it to 5 soon. What is the science behind this app? What HZ level/frequency/waves does this thing tune into? Can a person lower their brain waves to Theta in order to be a better “human spirit box?” Also, thank you...this app has really helped me with grief. A lot of people are out of work with COVID and can’t afford a huge fee; I appreciate the affordability.

Waste of money!. I bought the app for 1 dollar thinking that it actually worked (because it costs money) and when I try the app it didn’t do anything.

I believe. Was recommended to download this app by a medium who did a reading for me. She said my grandmother asked her to tell me to get this app so she can communicate with me. The first time I got “swollen foot” and later I got “edema”. It wasn’t until later I remembered I hurt my ankle in my yard several months ago and my foot is still swollen! Later that afternoon I was getting ready and looking at myself in the mirror and I thought how bad I looked. As soon as I thought that and I leaned in to look at my eyes, it said “handsome”. I told my Momaw thank you very much! Later I was thinking how many times my grandma witnessed me crying and saying how much I hate myself or wish I looked different. I started feeling ashamed of myself for being so hard on myself when the word “depressed” appeared. For me, this is the real deal.

Real Deal. So I went in thinking this was just a scam but no. After using this I'm a firm believer in this app you all! It's read me things only I would know things that are happening in my life right now and well let's just say there's spirits all around and they will talk to you. They will contact you with this app!

DANGEROUS SPIRIT APPS-DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I have downloaded this software, i open it in my house, it pick up spirits gave me words such as SLIP I believe it was sleep 1 min after my wife called me up Wednesday 23:45 the next day blacksmith, my computer screen started to be dizzy colours i had no power outage, my heater got shut down by it self and something fell inside my room, that was Thursday night. Friday at 23:30 my basement door started to shake like crazy for 30 seconds my wife and my kids we sleep together all night, Saturday night i had to do smoke all over the house and to read torah asked all spirits to leave house, it went good no issue until 6:30am i heard people taking outside suddenly my front door lock i heard it unlocked im waking up my wife i could clearly hear on my right hear HELP and still people talking im checking outside nothing quite street i opened my security system i check around house no one. Monday morning 3:45am my car alarm went on no light i shut it down. Tuesday me and wife we did the smoke and prayed for them to leave property we did all around house inside our cars, we took off our door mezouza from 14 doors 6 doors letters were either too sticky to eachother or failed, i redid all new papers at midnight i installed, its been a week i just started going back to basement look like they are gone. PLEASE USE CAUTION SPIRIT CAN FOLLOW YOU THEY CAN BE NOT 1 but few and won’t leave your house. The company who make this app should warn peoples about the danger it can create for some.

Best app of its kind. This app is the best of its kind. It has come up with specific names and details on the spot. It even said "gardener" when my doorbell rang. I opened the door and there was my landscaper.

Great Accessory for any Ghost Hunter!!!. For what it is, this app is extremely refined. The menus are all gorgeous and the app runs very smooth. I got 5 words in just 10 minutes! (man my house is creepy). The ability to choose each exact word that came up to post to Facebook sets this ghost app above the others. All in all, we'll worth the 99 cent price.

Total ripoff. Please do yourself a favor and don't download this. It's too late for me to get my dollars back that you don't have to waste yours. This is an absolute complete farce of an app.

I believe in the paranormal... But this is fake as fake can get. I'm a firm believer in the paranormal, but this is a joke. The developers won't even answer how it works because they know its a fake product from the needle to the graphic to the name. I was getting names in my car while driving down the freeway if that tells you anything. It's a fake... Waste of money.

I love this app!. May 1, 2014 While riding in the car, I noticed the police pulled a body from the White River. I quickly opened this app and it said stabbed. I got chills. April 29, 2014 We used this app while watching a documentary on Tesla. I told my husband that someday I'll talk to Tesla and the app said promises. Our three year old found the app while we were shopping at a crystal store. I can't remember what it said but it went along with our conversation. I never make demands or disrespect spirit energy. I recommend this app!

This app is just complete nonsense. ok, not much to expect for 99 cents. But this app just give you random words. Any location any time. Regardless if you ask questions. Let alone you get any intelligent answers. The makers mentioned that it was purely entertaining. If you want to scare some people with a ghost story a night out camping, this might be your app to enhance your act. For all others, don't expect anything.

Creepy. I used this app when I was visiting NOLA. It was in use while I was at a famous blacksmith shop. My partner started to choke on her slushy she was consuming. Once she was okay she asked the spirit box who was it that made her choke....it replied Jean. With a capital J. Creepy

FAKE!. I saw who helped make the app so I thought couldn't hurt to try it. Yeah it's a total bust. Just spits out completely random words. VERY disappointing:( Don't waste your time or money.

As with most paranormal apps with preprogrammed words, (as opposed to authentic paranormal investigating equipment) the minute users publicly post the words they hear- & they're all the same -such as Ghost Radar Legacy: "Bronwyn" "Jim" "gift" "school" "Tom" "money" "spend" - we start to figure out they choose words that most can 'tie' to something in their life- or else sound as if its from an earlier era. So here are my Spirit Story Box words: "mannerly father" "unorganized" "alarmed" "grandfather & grandmother" "shadow - or dark shadow" "open" "furniture" "hidden coins" "mother locates" "residence" & the ever popular "RUSACK"!!!- I will add more- please list your words to compare! This app works!. The first word gave almost gave me a heart attack. I downloaded the app around 1:30 am. It was only a few hours ago. I immediately went to the basement and turned it on. Walked around and when I got a reading I said out loud. "If there's a spirit here please say something" immediately it said "frank" that is my name! This is crazy! Just a few nights ago I came in contact with a spirit my team saw at high rock lake. We spoke through a ouija board. We contacted a 12 year old girl named gabby. She claimed to have drowned in that lake. We had about a 2 hour conversation until another angry entity scared her off. The second word that came through the app was "reeling" which is weird because my brother in law keeps his fishing rods in the basement. This app has been insanely accurate it has thrown random words but the first really had my heart jumping through my chest. I plan to sleep with it to see what els it saids.

Random. This app only throws random words, majority in old English, save your money and write your own random words just for fun, which is what this app does.

Nice work!!. This is such a fun app. It's great to just have going and see what comes up. How it works is pretty interesting.

So Creepy!. So I'm in my room didn't know my room was haunted Weird because my doll was haunted about 2 years that time I was in my room the spirit doll say hold hands don't know what's going to happened but that my doll just haunted.

Waste of money. Total waste of money. This app just says random works every few minutes.

Breakthrough. I'm not one of the creators And before one writes a review I would suggest going to a known haunted location keep the app on for longer than 10 minutes and ask questions do not hold the device if you are in a particularly dark place and I do not mean dark as in nighttime. As for my experience along with a chain of events and several spot on responses that became a mountain of unexplainable evidence Whatever these forces are are indeed up for debate but that they exist is not even in the scientific community- if you are a new to the paranormal this is a great affordable device that can be used in conjunction with other paranormal apparatus The device also exceeded its programming by generating words outside of the data bass saying my sisters name first and middle when she was in town visiting many and more compelling responses From the device and events transposing simultaneously or right after making the responses like I said spot on - u may get random triggers by electrical forces but whatever this is also effects geomagnetic conditions and the creators hit on a way to allow these forces to bridge the gap between worlds all you skeptic give it a real chance before commenting and not only might u find it works but u may get a little more than you bargained for

An amazing device!!!. I have ran the app here at home where I have no paranormal activity for up to 2 hours and not gotten ANY hits. But I used the app during a ghost tour in Jerome AZ and I got 47 words or phrases in 2-1/2 hours. It seemed to be one step ahead of the tour guide and he did not hear or see what the app was saying. That night made a believer out of me. I'm excited to us it during my next investigation.

Jury's still out. A lot of random babble that doesn't make sense + short phrases that are irrelevant but then there's that out of the blue-wow, where did that come from comment that will just blow you away!

Fun and creepy!. So we are playing with is at work and last night one of the girls had a cat pass away. I had the sound off and nothing was happening until I held it near her. When I did, the word "pet" popped up. Creepy....

NOT FAKE!!!!!!. Got words young,hammer,dusty,murder . I look up hammer murder and it happen a 14 year old girl died because of a murder. Also I made my ends of hair red and it said. Flames then hair 😱 it CREEPY BECAUSE I WAS SLEEPING!!!!!

Chatty ghost. I don't know forsure if this really works or not but I've read other reviews here where they've only got a few words in hours and I've gotten over 30 in just 2 hours. Most of the words are relevant to things I'm talking about. Some not so much. Maybe to the other side Lol

What a scam. I heard about this app from local news station. They were doing a story about a local haunted location and said the Investigators used this app and the words they got could be connected to actual events at the location. I decided to see what this app was all about. We had some fun with it while visiting with some family but I decided to leave the app running while I slept last night. I had about 70-80 words when I woke up in the morning none of which made any sense. Several of which referred to basements and sheds which have never existed as far as I know. This thing is designed to spew out words at random and anyone who gets suckered into falling for this I feel bad for.

Scam. Want a refund but their website doesn't work. Go figure. I should've known better.

Wife. The first words were wait for me, wife. Yes I am his wife. But words after that made no sense a bunch of random things it didn't having you do with us. It would be nice if you was actually telling me wait for me, because that's what I'm doing. But I don't believe it is real.

I thought this app was going to be a hoax or fake but it spelled "Nephew, Matthew" two months before my sister got pregnant and named it Matthew, I didn't know about her being pregnant until long after I used this spirit box, also it spelled "Diabetes, Pills, Careful" before my father was diagnosed with diabetes and prescribed medication for it, this is a true spirit box app.

Strange. It's quite different than all the other "ghost" apps I've used. For those who say it's "fake" and "crap". There's energy everywhere, both positive and negative. All the time. It may seem vague at times, but sometimes it'll come to you. Spirits, entities, and demons aren't here (or there) for you....they're here for themselves. And they don't care about you or your feelings, family, or well being. Use this app with caution. I used to be into satanism and the occult. It's not anything to play around with.

Spirit box is crap. This is one of the biggest jokes o have seen in a long time . Not only does it shoot out random worthlessness but it is obvious that it is fir entertainment purposes only . What a waste of cash!

Random Babble. It does not answer intelligently. Just a lot of words every few minutes... Verbiage is mostly depressing words, relations, and anatomical parts. I used it at home and at work... Just left it on and it spews words every few minutes... Highly doubt its a real spirit box.

Hmmm. Not sure about this... Other reviews would help a bit...

Iffy. Throws out a lot of random words a couple of caught me by surprise that meant something but had to dig deep for the meaning ( reaching ) the kids like it though!!!!!!

Great Concept, Execution Needs Work. The theories and philosophy behind Spirit Box (i.e. the dearly departed can, in some small way, influence objects here in the material world) is wonderfully fascinating and absolutely engaging. Sadly, translation of this thesis to the current application lacks the same sense of mystery. Essentially a non-interactive random word generator (this is purely my impression after a day of use), I was somewhat disappointed in what could have been a neat visual and auditory experience. Knowing what the iPhone is capable of, especially taking the accelerometers into play, this application really could provide a more interesting result with just a bit more work. For the moment, however, I fear that I cannot recommend it beyond a quick read of the driving theories behind the development. Here's hoping that the developer continues to improve what really could be a unique direction in the world of spirit communication and how we interact with reality.

Fake. So this app doesn’t work. It only spit out random words. Don’t get it.

Not worth it. Was clearly working with a list of ore entered words. Took 15 minutes to even get one word,and it was very generic. Won't be using it in the field.
