Really fun but SO MANY ADS. This game is very aesthetically pleasing, the mustache man is funny, and it all seemed really good for the first 10-15 levels. After lvl 15 I noticed the banner ads which were not a problem or distracting, but after lvl 20, I would get 2 ADs per level! I found this game through TikTok and they advertise themselves as having banner ADs and “Skippable ADs”, while yes the ADs are skippable, the amount of them is super off putting. I wish that I could pay a few bucks to get No Ads. It’s a shame because I really like the game, but I won’t be playing anymore due to the constant ADs.

Fun, but a LOT of Ads. First of all, I think this game is MUCH more fun than games like Royal Flush, Candy Crush, etc. The gameplay is simpler and more fun, allowing for a better time without worrying about lives and needing power ups. However, after completing about 10 levels with no ads, I now am forced to sit through a 30 second add BETWEEN EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. And no option to pay for ad free. I get that these game developers need revenue, but this makes me not want to play the game anymore. Not fun.

No ads? Yeah right. I specifically downloaded the game based on the advertising that stated “no ads just a banner ad at the bottom”. There definitely is a banner ad at the bottom of the screen, there is however also a forced ad at the completion of every single stage. I don’t know if they are trying to drum up money to support a new app or what but unfortunately the volume of ads makes the game essentially unplayable for me. If the developers wonder why their app isn’t taking off like it should take a look at your false advertising that is out there and take a look at the volume ads you expect players deal with while attempting to enjoy your product.

so pleasing :). i wasn’t going to review bc i pretty much never do but i remember the ad i got for this game (same one that convinced me to download lol) said y’all were a smaller developer trying to grow the app so!! here i am :) i love the simple graphics & the straightforward levels and design of the app. i used to play candy crush when it was big, but there are so many popups and additions and overwhelming graphics in candy crush now that it’s been frustrating to use lately. there is like, none of that here. sure, an occasional thing to ask if you’re enjoying the app, but you don’t have to wait for and click through five million things before you can play a real level. sprites for the game are really cute too, simple lil fruits and such!! and also they give you a few free themes / color palettes for the app that are actually pretty cute (i have the kind of blue/minty theme on my game rn)!! i just got the game today but i can tell it’s absolutely going to be my go-to when i want to play a lil swiping game!!!

The Perfect Match 3 Game… But…. This game is nothing short of the next Candy Crush. It’s simple and fun with a unique spin. Don’t let its simplicity fool you, I have sat and played this for hours without getting bored. However, Game Devs if you’re reading this, PLEASE make a NO AD purchase option. The 30 second ads between each level takes away from the game, turning this into seeming like a cash-grab app like those ones you see ads for on Twitter or Tiktok that look nothing like the actual game. I can really see this app taking off and being successful, but not with the ads.

10/10. There are so many things to love about this game but some of my favorites are 1. NO ADS. This isn’t like one of those games where the ads for the game says no ads and you have to pay to not have ads, no. This actually has no ads. 2. The curator. idk why but this Brit (derogatory) gets on my nerves in the best way possible. 3. The tile collection! I love a good goal. If you earn enough XP you get a colored tile, and each column of tiles is the same color, and each row of tiles has a running theme. Overall, such an addicting game.

installed bc “no ads!”. I really liked this game and the simple and cute tiles in the game. I downloaded it bc I saw a tiktok that said they have 0 ads, only a tiny ad banner on the bottom of the screen. obviously, too good to be true. I got to level 20 with no ads, the moment I hit level 21, I got hit with 3 ads in a row. now every time you start a new level you have to sit thru 30 second ads. I stuck around for a couple more levels to see if it truly was a ton of ads and it is. you can finish a level in under a minute and then you have a 30 second ad. honestly not worth the time when you’re sitting thru ads every 45-60 seconds. I get this is how apps make money and yeah i’m inpatient but I still uninstalled🤷🏼‍♀️

So Great! …but can’t get rid of ads. This game is great! Who knew a British narrator would put a game over the top?! This match 3 game has a different feel and I absolutely love it! I had actually been tired of the genre, but when I saw a preview, I thought yeah let’s try it! My one suggestion would be to continue to expand this game! There are so many ways you can make it even better. If I could pay $5 to get rid of pop up ads in this game I would do it right now! There is no option (‘yet’ hopefully). Games with uncontrollable ads usually get deleted from my phone immediately. But I’m going to hold onto hope for a little while that this option might become available. Oh, and please don’t try to charge $15-$20 to remove ads. That is quite a commitment for a match three game. I think that games that ask for that much are being unreasonable. It’s also a gamble on their part if you ask me. Anyway, I would love to give this 5 stars. When I can remove pop ups, I will.

Tricked into it being a major AD farm. Downloaded the game and it seemed like everything I needed from a matching game. No ads for the first 10 levels and a nice, clean, simple design with fun voice casting on your actions. But then it became an ad farm with an ad for other match games after each level and with the levels being easy that means it’s an ad every minute or so which does not seem fair to the consumer. Please don’t download unless you just want to farm ad revenue for these developers. Not even an option to purchase ad free versions so they definitely just want your money long term. Sad to see because I was hoping this one was different from the rest.

Literally Amazing- One Pet Peeve.. Alright, so this game is great, simple, and the little mustache guy is goofy. I like to play games while I listen to podcasts, and they ALWAYS interrupt my podcast for an ad. This game has, like, basically no ads. The only ads are banner ads- and I don’t mind them because…no sound. I can mute everything, it’s got a great dark mode, and the little tiles are kind of cute. My only problem is that if you struggle with trypophobia, some of the levels have these little bubbles that you have to break behind the tiles, and it…is very uncomfortable to me. I’m not gonna stop playing, but…yeah.

Addicting!. I first rated this 5 stars without a review and 2 hours later I find myself having to write one! This is game is so much fun! The voice over is hilarious with all of the comments he makes. The levels are super easy so you are always making matches. Some of them you may have to try a couple times but you get the hang of it. There are ads but like in their advertising it’s all skipable! My favorite level is 72😋

Very addicting, but many ads. Definetly a bunch of paid/sponsored ads. Whoever is saying they barely get them is a liar. There will be long stretches that after every level is an ad and you have to watch an ad to unlock the machine and claim the reward. I will say however, these ads become skippable usually after 5-10 seconds and there will sometimes be times where the game will give you 5-10 levels ad free. Overall I still love the game and it’s super fun and addicting. I wish there was a way to incorporate the “levels” for duplicate tiles. I would happily pay for an ad free version, that’s how much I do love this game at it’s core

Great way to pass time. I love this game, I spend way more than I probably should on it. The collectibles give an incentive to keep playing, and the power ups make it exciting. The only thing I think would make this game better is an option to buy no ads. I know when they were marketing this game, the whole “no ads” thing was prominent but now they are after almost each level. It’s a tad annoying but I love this game enough that I would pay to get rid of them.

Simple, charming game!. Been playing for a relatively short amount of time; but long enough to get a feel for what this game is. It’s a great little game, the classic matching puzzle game that we’re all used to, but with a high-quality coat of paint! Everything here feels well put together and designed. Very charming with a clean and simple design. And the narrator gimmick is fun and well written! He’s witty and charming, but not overly snarky or annoying. His remarks are common but not overwhelmingly frequent. Very thankful for that! I miss the days when all mobile games were more about quality and fun over quantity and quick cash. Overall this a great little mobile game that I’ll be coming back to over other games of a similar style! However around level 10 ads begin to play in between levels, that’s a bit disappointing. But aside from that one minor qualm, great game! 7.5/10

Wonderful game but could use some (one) improvements. This game is cute and fun and I also like the little British robot guy that gives you honestly pretty useless commentary. However I think it would be nice to have subtitles for what he says. That way deaf people and people who want to know what he’s saying without having their sound on can both have the same experience and everyone else. Other than the lack of subtitles it’s a pretty good game and it’s not packed full of ads like lots of other games.

Great Overall. They are really shooting them selves in the foot with the “no ads” thing being the main point of their advertisements but anyway this game is so sleek and aesthetically pleasing. I never played stuff like Candy crush bc it’s like nuclear unicorn vomit for your eyes but I love the way this feels minimalistic even though it very much is not! The power ups working together are fun and you still get that little dopamine rush. As far as ads, I genuinely barely see any. Like people I have played a lot of phone games and this game truly shocks me with how little I see ads lol. A genuine critique though: what in God’s name is the purpose of collecting duplicate tiles and leveling up? It does nothing and nothing happens when you check your tiles except for knowing what level it is on. Seems like unnecessary fluff

So you can just straight up lie in your ads now?. I’ve seen multiple ads for this game touting that there’s no ads. Figured I’d give it a try, and what to I get as soon as I hit level ten? That’s right, an ad! Bunch of liars. Really think you’re going to maintain any consumer base when you lie directly to our faces that you have no ads on this app then turn around and shove an ad in our face every level after ten? (I went to level 15 just to see if it was after every level and the answer was yes) That’s still so early in the difficulty that levels can be completed in 30 seconds or under. Less than 30 seconds of game play before an ad? That’s ridiculous. I legit do not understand how they can be falsifying their ads and not be taken down for grossly false claims. Also, maybe don’t ask me to rate your game after you JUST revealed you blatantly lied.

My Favorite. I have not had this game very long, and I’m already over level 1000. I’m embarrassed at how much time I spend playing it. I had no idea I liked explosions so much! As I approach the end of a game, if I have enough extra chances left, I won’t win the game right away, but I’ll go around and get in as many extra explosions as I can. I wish you’d let me save up all my unused bombs, and at some point, just have a fiesta of explosions!

Great for Mindless Puzzle Matching. I enjoy the heck out of this game. I’d say my biggest complaint is it takes almost 500 levels to complete the first 70 tile collection. Multiple duplicate tiles throughout all of those levels (56 in total). Almost just as many duplicate tiles to complete a whole other collection before completing the first collection. Almost feel as if I don’t have the patience to continue to complete the others since I don’t quite feel satisfied with the first completion.

Unique. I don't usually write reviews, but I'll take a moment to share my thoughts on this because I'm breaking a lot of my rules with this game. As a high schooler riding the bus for hours with AP classes and siblings to watch, I don't have time. Ever. Initially I was hesitant to play it, but I'm so glad I did! 🙏😁This game has such a good interface, it's customizable, and it's simple but still fun to play. Due to the few ads being skippable, I stay engaged and entertained, even with little time to spare. Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone who has just a little bit of time but wants a bit of a challenge.

it’s cute, simple, and you feel like you’re playing a game, not being milked for cash.. the tiles are adorable and beautiful, while being simple and iconic. collecting them is a fun aspect, having new tiles added as you go. the collection screen is organized by color in a rainbow pattern, which i greatly appreciate. the gameplay is what you expect. it’s a match three with the usual power ups. the lack of IAPs makes it a lot more fun and engaging, because you know you can complete a level without paying, so it’s just the matches you make and the RNG of the tiles. basically, you feel like you’re playing a game, not being milked for cash. ads are and always will be annoying, but they feel fair and are more than bearable here.

I was done with match-3. This game has put some fun back into an old, worn out genre. I thought I’d had my fill of match-3 games. Starting in 2001 with Bejeweled, then decades of countless clones, copies and rip-offs, culminating with Candy Crush. I never needed to play another match game again. Then I got a tip about this game and reluctantly downloaded it. I’m glad I did. There’s nothing new about the actual gameplay, but the game’s attitude and humor make all the difference. Enjoy.

Simply awesome. If anyone wants a Match 3 game to play that features awesome graphics and a snarky British commentator get this game. I never review games even if I like them but this one is insanely fun to play. Set yourself an alarm tho or you might spend several hours playing and not notice it getting dark outside lol. As to the complaints that the game was advertised “no ads” but contains ads; most developers farm out their advertising to an outside agency. These agencies find what makes a game popular and then put those points in the advertising. That’s why so many games have ads that are practically the same but with the name of the game changed. I’ve deleted games that are ad farms but Match Collector isn’t one. The ads aren’t intrusive and last 5 seconds. Anyone who has had to sit through a 45 second ad for a certain royal match 3 game will appreciate the brevity here.

Used to really love this game. I used to play this game constantly when I first downloaded it, I downloaded it because I saw ads about how there were absolutely NO ADS and for a while there wasn’t and it was great. But now I get an ad every level and although they are skippable after a certain amount of time it’s pretty annoying especially because I downloaded the game for having no ads. Gameplay is still the same and I do enjoy it but I definitely stopped playing as much when they started with the constant ads.

…It’s smashing. Okay so…Im usually super apprehensive about games with ads on TIKTOK…But disembodied British voices, the glasses and mustache…and the fact he reminds me of the Narrator from The Stanley Parable made me curious. But then…it said no ads, no purchases, and I was like wait a sec…okay fine why not. Then I started playing the game…and the voice man is very nice. And the game is super easy and…it doesn’t hold your hand. You just start making matches and things just happen. And you’re like WHOA. So far. Game gets a 5 star outta me. I’m on level five and by now I’d encounter ads in other games…but so far? I’m able to just….play. It’s good. Fun. Plain and simple.

Download if you like REALLY long ads …. They pitched this game as a game that “only has banner ads at the bottom.” I downloaded it based on that pitch. The first little while there were no ads—not even banner ads! They asked me a couple times during this period to review the game. I didn’t. Then, after about 15-20 levels, there were ads. Not those short little ads you can skip to the end of, but LONG ads—BETWEEN EVERY LEVEL! So more than half your time playing this game is watching ads. And the snarky British commentator is fun for about eight levels, then you want to punch him in the mouth (which he gives you the opportunity to do).

Simple, Beautiful, Long Term Game. I am the type of person who downloads and deletes games very frequently. There are either too many ads, the levels get too hard, you have to pay to get power ups to actually win, you only get 5 lives and then have to wait an hour to play, etc. This game is the complete opposite. It is simple— just match 3. No events, no pay walls, no “season passes”. Just match 3. The art style is beautiful. Very minimalistic and pleasing to the eye. Not overwhelming like many other match 3 games. There are no boosters to buy or watch an ad to earn. If you lose a game, you don’t lose a win streak or a life. You just play the level again. All the things that bother me about other match 3 games don’t exist in this fame. I love this game so much. Thank you developers for this game that I am sure to keep on my phone for a long time!

Wow!. Lemme just say, this game is great. I was scrolling thru TikTok when I saw an ad for it. Obv I thought it was like any other match three game. Especially when the comments were saying it was boring (not true). But I kept seeing the ad, and I decided to give it a try! I mean why not lol 😭. So I started playing it and honestly it’s very simple, no crazy details just match three! The animation is also satisfying. This game is just overall very aesthetically pleasing to play. ♡

Was’t expecting this. I have had my fair share of match games. I usually download them because it looks good but then I play it and end up not likening it and I feel lied to. Like Royal Match. I can’t go five seconds without seeing a Royal match add that’s a lie. But, I saw the add for this game and decided to try it out. I was shocked by how much I like it. It matched the add perfectly and there’s not any side story that you ALSO have to do while playing the game. I love it and totally recommend it.

Wish it had captions. Delightful game, but I almost exclusively have my phone on silent so I missed out on the commentary until I decided to see if the game had any music. I deleted it and started it over just go go though the commentary, which frankly make the game what it is. For players like me who either play silently, or for people who have hearing impairments having captions would be able to let them enjoy the game as much as other users. I really hope that you add captions as an option in the future

Promising Game With A Few Tweaks. I isuslly avoid "match 3" games as they are all the same. However, for some reason, this game captivated me. A few adjustments could be made, however, such as an option to turn off the "suggested move" animation (two pieces sliding together after 1 second of nothing moving). I hate being told basically how to best play the next move and would prefer an option to turn that off. Another suggestion would be an endless mode where tiles continuously generate and you can rack up points while watching everything combine. Just a few minor things though, otherwise the game is nice, relaxing, and exactly as advertised!

the best iphone game. i’ve had an iPhone for a long time. i’ve played the popular games out there- including my least favorite, Candy Crush (and the hundreds of other games that are essentially Candy Crush). Match Collector has fixed every common mistake that games like these are consistently filled with. The ads are incredibly tolerable and can always be skipped. Unlimited lives- no waiting (or paying) for chances to play more. In fact, no paywalls at all- simple, enjoyable gameplay and clean design. this is the perfect iPhone game. delivers on every promise, and always leaves me satisfied. this is the real deal.

I am in love with the curator. It’s a nice, simple match 3 with minimal ads and no in game purchases. It seems like it’s been updated since I last played, adding an infinite / arcade sorta mode which I do enjoy. The only thing I wish the game had was a login with apple/game center so that you could save progress. Specifically because I was at level like 300 and had to delete the game for storage purposes, just redownloaded and had to restart from lvl 1 without any of my tiles :( Overall it’s the best match 3 game I think I’ve ever come across. PLEASE give the curator more voice lines. Not for any particular reason.

Absolutely in love. I love this game. It’s very well put together, and definitely different from the usual games we’re tired of nowadays. The only suggestion I have is if, at the end of a level, there could be an after thing where the power ups get activated. That always gives me a lot of satisfaction to see, and I feel like every level is creating this anticipation that gets cut off TvT Oh, and if we could choose which tokens to use from our collection.

Simple and good game, but lacks content.. There's nothing else besides the tile collection and the main game. I mean, it's neat and nice! But the tile collection doesn't allow me to mount what I want. When a duplicate appears, the tile levels up, but I don't know what that means. (Does it mean I get more xp? If so, I can't see it.) It's good that the ads are short, but there are too many! And I wish rainbow-colored items would automatically explode after beating a level. I don't like how they remain every time. Still, I like the design and sound effects. I really hope this game improves with updates and becomes the #1 game!!

Very relaxing. I absolutely love games like this. I have the other game that you guys develop but something that I’m really disappointed about with those games is that there’s no offer for you to purchase a non-advertised version and I’m constantly getting advertisements when I’m playing and it takes away the fun of the game, and they so hard for me to really relax if there was anyway that y’all could add an option for people to pay to have no advertisements I would definitely pay for it. It’s definitely worth it.

A lot more fun than I thought it would be. When I first saw this, I thought oh great another match 3 game to play for a bit and then delete. Then I realize I’ve been playing for several hours straight. You would think the British narrator’s quips would get old after a while, but it surprisingly doesn’t and if it does for you it’s really easy to mute him. It’s also not even remotely hard which honestly I appreciate because a lot of these types of games throw in really hard levels as a way to make you pay up or be at the whims of RNG.

Thought there were no ads??????. when I saw an advertisement for this game, they had mentioned they were trying to go against the system and that there were no ads and they don’t do micro transactions. When I say it I was like, cool. I’ll give it a try. However, within the first 15 minutes of playing, I already received two ads that were not skippable. I really wanted to support this game if it really was trying to go against the system but it feels like they just lied to get people download their game and make them some quick money. The game itself is not bad either. It’s very simplistic and mindless, which I personally look for in a mobile game, and I will admit that the simple art style was nice as well. If it weren’t for the fake advertising, maybe I wouldn’t of even minded the ads. I just hate feeling like I was tricked into something. I would’ve rather them have just been honest about it from the start.

The single best match three game ever.. There are so many popular cash grab apps ready to steal your money and patience. I’ve seen ‘em all—and all the ads that come with them. But this app has created a safe haven from all the greedy scam apps out there, a shelter where weary travelers like me can rest and find comfort. I was expecting to delete this game in five minutes—no, two minutes— but I was absolutely blown away when I compared the app to the advertisement and confirmed every single word in that ad to be true. It’s the greatest example that honesty goes a long way—especially in marketing. And although the British accent on your mustachioed character could be fixed, it can be easily overlooked due to the amazing work you’ve done and the impressive story of honesty and integrity you’ve told. I’ve never seen a game so easy to fall in love with—or an advertisement so honest. Keep up the great work, Staple Games, and maybe you’ll teach those big companies a lesson the world could benefit from.

So far, not bad. I like the game. It’s a simple match 3, but the look and commentary make it stand out. Would love a way to match 4 in a square or cross and maybe an endless mode, but alas. Yes, there are ads, but they are skippable after a few seconds and they don’t make you tap the screen 5 times to get rid of them. Don’t listen to those that complain. If you want something for free, you’re gonna have to deal with ads. Games don’t grow on trees. I would seriously consider paying for an ad-free option. Seems like this is only the beginning. Looking forward to seeing how this game evolves.

Thank you for trying. This is going to sound really cheesy, but I actually have a lot of emotional investment in mobile games, as they were a large part of my childhood. It was really frustrating to see the market suddenly change for no given reason and suddenly the genuinely talented developers being in the minority compared to the people who make shovelware and stuff 70 ads down your throat every time you open the app. While I’ve never been a huge fan of the match 3 genre of puzzle games, I can’t deny the charm and simplicity being really enjoyable, and the effort put into this game shows. Try it out. The devs deserve your attention.

No bull, just great puzzles. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. A good, fun, match 3. No hearts, no gems, no storyline, no timers, just great puzzles. If you miss one, you simply play it again. No drama. Yes there are ads but the longest I’ve been forced to endure was 5 seconds. Hallelujah. It took me a minute to get used to the very simple graphic style but now I love it. I’m currently at level 250 and most of the puzzles have been easy so far, but I know they’ll get more challenging. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Liars. The ad says no ads except a banner ad across the bottom. The game asked for a 5 star review after Level 5, which I did not do, as it was too soon for me. There were no ads at all until - guess when- after Level 5… then there is an ad between every level. Which is not unreasonable, except that they PROMISED no ads except the banner at the bottom. Yes the ads are skipable…but you have to tap Done, or X, or whatever several times to actually skip the ad, so you end up dealing with the ad for 15 - 20 seconds, as always. And the levels so far are short and easy, so you spend as much time “skipping” the ads as you do playing. Same old, same old. Deleting because I am not supporting developers who lie.

This is how games are supposed to be on mobile. Ah back to the good ol days where games only asked you to rate their game if you’re enjoying it. No ads. No random pop ups. No I’m app purchases. Nothing. Relaxing match 3 game to play anywhere and never be interrupted. This is how these games should be. Get rid of these dumb apps with ads. If you’re looking for something to do to kill time and like actually enjoy that time with no ad breaks or interruptions then get this game.

Really good game!. I don't usually write reviews, especially on mobile games, but I absolutely love this one! I'm not the biggest fan of match-3 games but this is definitely my favorite! I love the simplistic design and how easy it is to progress through levels, although I can see where that'd bore some people. I do, however, have two recommendations for the game. 1. A bit more variety with the levels! Right now, there's only collecting certain tiles, breaking ice, crates, and collecting stars. I feel like some new game mechanics would make it even better! 2. Tile customization. Because of how many tiles you can collect in the game, I think it'd be a great idea to be able to pick and choose which tiles you use in a game instead of having them randomly selected.

A leap in the right direction.. This is what mobile apps once were, and what they should be. Ads that don’t mess with gameplay, with small out of the way banners at the bottom, and the occasional pop-up that’s literally just one tap away from returning to the game. No fake X spots or red herrings. Even bonus power ups don’t require a video or ad to get! The AI voice of the little mustached face could certainly use some work…but it isn’t so bad as to discourage playing the game. The graphics are simplistic and easy on the eyes. There are color options for easy play during day or night. APP DEVELOPERS TAKE NOTES!

Honestly my fav match 3 app, but…. …I’m well over level 800 and it’s just..too easy. Still. I like that I can pick it up and put it down literally whenever. But I’ve collected all the tiles already and never even got any special sort of message...which was definitely a bummer. The objectives are too easy. I like that the difficulty hasn’t ramped up with the levels, but it’s still just ridiculously easy. Would love to see an update with like an optional difficulty setting tbh. I think that would really make the game more enjoyable.

Makes good on their promises. I initially downloaded this game because one of its ads I saw in a different game did that they wouldn’t constantly spam you with ads like other matching games available currently. And they didn’t lie. It’s a really polished, fun to play game. I do think that they should add one-time use items that have special uses, like a variety of other puzzle games available, but it isn’t a need and the game is still great without them. I only have one real suggestion for the game. At the end of levels, you are often left with a genuinely insane amount of power-ups left over, and I’d love if they all went off after you complete the level. A small, mostly cosmetic change, but one I think is pretty fun and satisfying.

Some design issues but overall a good match 3. I enjoy the game but I find the collectible tiles to be kind of lame. I have all the epic and rare tiles but I’m missing 3 common ones. How does that make sense? Also I don’t really understand the point of them? Do they make your score higher or what? Sometimes the animation style makes it difficult to see the different tiles and therefore harder to play the game. Depending on which tiles you have on screen, some of them look super similar. And I super dislike the “pots” that break into dots because they are so hard to see sometimes I miss them altogether. An added element that would be nice to see would be a progress tracker or a “trail” similar to candy crush where you can see how many levels you’ve completed.

I love this game 🩷. I’ve only played a few minutes but I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite mobile games. I hate all the match-3 games out there because they are too colorful and it just hurts to look at, not to mention the repetitive music. This is just simple and fun and you have a nice little face to keep you company and talk to you. It’s very charming and I love the premise. I got here from an ad, and the reason I even considered getting the game is because it didn’t pause the video I was watching (or be so loud that I couldn’t hear my video) when the ad started playing and so I gave it a chance to say it’s piece for being considerate instead of demanding, and the ad was straightforward and short and kept me engaged the whole time. There were many things that drew me in was both the simplicity of it but also just being honest about how you want to be the next hit game. It’s okay. App is fun/funny but ad for app boasted no ads and I’ve had a few unskippable ads come up since playing. Lacks a power up for a 2x2 square match. Difficult to get used to when playing several other match 3 games.

Pleasant surprise. I have to say this one caught me by surprise. The ever changing tiles, witty British humor, lack of background music, and lovely sound effects all make for a breath of fresh air.

Seems like a cool game but unskippable ads are annoying. It’s weird because the ads don’t come in until a few levels into the game so it lures you into that false sense of ‘wow yeah a completely free and chill game’ honestly I would much rather an option to purchase to remove the ads then have to watch one after every single level.

Minimal ads, as advertised!. I’ve grown sick & tired of these predatory Match 3 clone types of games that are more than likely in the hundreds now, so Match Collector by comparison was a complete breath of fresh air. As advertised, games don’t grow on trees, so there are ads, but it is so beautiful to see that the time it takes for me to skip all of these ads each range from 10 seconds to instantaneous, not to mention the banner ads at the bottom that I have no problem with. This is the perfect substitute for any & every Match 3 clone you can find, with an art style that is all its own. My only nitpicks boil down to it not having much more than these Match 3 puzzles to play, but I guess that’s kind of the point, to turn your brain off and give your fingers something easy & fun to do. Not to mention the powerups we've come to know in these games are very satisfying to utilise here. Highly recommended above all games of this subgenre.

False Advertising. Advertises their game as “ad free” to drive traffic. Good game play for a couple hours but then it’s non stop ads.

Almost perfect!. After the first few levels you get blasted with ads between every single level. I’d prefer a static ad banner on the top or bottom during play than having to stop between every level for a minute-long ad. I would pay for an ad-free version! My only other annoyance is you can’t seem to turn off the “hint” and it’s really frustrating to have suggested match tiles constantly wiggling while I’m trying to think. Overall I like the aesthetic of the game and it’s not impossible like other games are at higher levels. It’s fun and collecting the tiles is a cute feature!

I’m not convinced Level 209 is possible.. Love this game, the design is pretty and not too overstimulating. The levels are short enough to be fun but still challenging. That said, I have been trying to complete Level 209 for three days and I am beginning to question my sanity. Is there even a Level 210? Can anyone get past this point? Have I gone too far? Written info about what each power-up does would be helpful as well.

So many ads past level 20. Fun game even though nothing really new with Match-3 mechanic. Cheeky host can be easily muted if you don’t like the quips. But be aware after level 20, expect an ad after every single level you play. Contrast this with many Match-3 games with no ads, like Royal Match (which also has mini games).

W app. It’s a really good and entertaining game, and the little dude on the top makes it even better. Unlike every other match 3 game this one actually tries to be original with its concepts. Well rather they mechanics are relatively the same in the way it’s presented makes it all the difference. The lack of ad’s is a huge bonus as well. Only thing I would recommend is after playing a few levels you fully unlock everything. I would say and some more gameplay so I can do something/earn something for playing. Furthermore give the curator an option to have more dialogue or even some lore you can unlock. Maybe you can even have a place you can decorate such as Super Mario Run from back in the day. Even a multiplayer option would be good were you can play with your friend. Regardless this game is S tier would recommend

Gets old fast. There’s only like 4 total game mechanics and every level feels the same, getting all the tiles takes ages because by the end you have all the epics, rares, and legendaries, and there are so many common tiles that it’ll likely take like 30+ levels to get one new tile. The curator guy has like 15 lines not including when you get a new tile so you hear the same ones over and over. The curator in general just feels like a failed Wheatley with 30x less wit and charm and way too much British.

Too many ads. They advertise only banner ads and ones you can skip but after level 20 you get an ad once you finish a level and another one (almost always the same one) when you press next level. That’s between every level from that point on. I like the concept, but they lure you into an ad-light game for 20 levels but after that it’s pumped up to 500%.

Easy game. Entertaining, but not at all challenging. Ads start after level 9 and come up often, but can easily be closed. Game a little slow, had to wait for it to catch up… Maybe more suitable for children or new players as an introductory game.

Went from a five star to a one star. I rated this game at a five originally. The gameplay is smooth, the colours and style are really nice and collecting new pieces for the board is great. However, once you get to level 10, an ad plays after every level you finish. The may be easy to skip, but they are relentless. The occasional ad doesn’t bother me, but it’s really rough after every level. If there was a way to limit them or even pay to remove ads, then this would stay a five star game. It’s honestly a one star, just because of the ads.

Amazing!. I only just started playing this game and I’m not disappointed! No ads as promised in the ad from TikTok, this really elevates the quality. Also I really love the cute graphics! I wasn’t quite sure what the power ups were at first but I caught on quickly. The lack of a tutorial was confusing but kind of nice because I don’t like the slow tutorials on most other games. What is the Curator's story???. Very few ads thus far. Surprisingly soothing art style. I like collecting the tiles. Very nice gameplay. I am, however, intrigued by the Curator and the random lore he drops. Like, WHY don't they like his papers? How does he know all of the things he knows? He's funny and intriguing. Definitely a reason to keep playing!

Get this, it’s actually good!. Finally a mobile game that doesn’t have a million ads and micro transactions. Think of every single scummy thing a mobile game can do, this game has none of that. It’s genuine fun. I could never stick with mobile games because of their scammy, scummy nature, and this game doesn’t have a bit of that. On top of that, it’s fun, creative, stylish, and amazing!

Read.. Okay, I don’t write reviews for games. Much less rate them. But this game is amazing and I decided to rate it 5 stars. I just started and I’ve already rated it 5 stars, people don’t do that. I haven’t encountered a single ad since downloading the game and it is a good way to kill time and for long car rides or no wifi games.

Just started and now I can’t stop!. This game is great!! I love how this have barely any ads! This isn’t your usual pay-to-win trash bag of a game, this is new and great, original content, without all the gimmicks and tricks to deal with. This game is so FUN! And the best part? The happiness it gives me when you finish a level. Developers, you’ve really outdone yourself.

Match Collector. For me this is a relaxing game. This is my favorite match three game and I’ve played and deleted many. My only gripe is the annoying REWARDS. I initially found the rewards feature amusing. Now it’s just ANNOYING. I just want to play the game and not spend time tapping the screen for useless rewards. We should be given the option to turn the rewards feature off. Still love the game though.

Finally!. I was drawn to the game because of its seemingly very honest ads. I’m sick of how ads just blatantly lie about what a game is about, what the gameplay is like, and how many ads there are in it. So, I am delighted to find a game that is exactly what it says it’s going to be. My only hesitation had been wondering about the graphics, but I honestly love them now that I’m playing the game. Fantastic. 1- idea change either make it so we can switch items during a cascade 2- make the special items activate at the end of the level, even without point it’s still satisfying Or 3- carry over any special items to the next level. All of those are tried an true Fun Enhancers from other game.

This game HAS potential. Haven’t gotten ads yet like some of the other reviews mention which is a total dealbreaker, so that’s good. I enjoy the game it’s fun and simple and no purchases. Although i feel like the game board feels a bit sluggish and not smooth (only when swiping your pieces on the board) as powerups like the rockets and bombs are very satisfying and extremely well done.

Exactly what I needed. Let me be honest. I stumbled across this game while I was in… a rough place. But the clean, minimalist graphics, satisfying sound effects, funny commentator (who can be muted by tapping their icon at the top, if you want to for some incomprehensible reason), and already tried-and-true Match-3 gameplay combined with the aspect of collecting new tiles really helped put a smile back on my face. The lack of in-app purchases helped keep it there.

SUBLIME Match 3 Game. I saw the ads for this game on TikTok and was intrigued. I love the narrator character, and the different tile icons are cute. True to the ads, there’s a small horizontal banner at the bottom of the game that I barely notice while playing, and every full screen ad is skippable after 5 seconds. I love that you can play in dark mode too. Highly recommend - fun little time waster!

Game is very fun but I have to deduct points for false advertising. I’ve played many a match game and this one is really fun to play with decent challenges. I enjoy the art style and simple graphics a lot too. But the main reason I downloaded was because they explicitly said they had no ads outside of banner ads so my game play would not be interrupted. Playing the game, there was almost immediately ads between EACH level. It’s really excessive and kinda kills the vibe. I don’t see an option to pay for an ad free version either so the whole thing is kind of a bummer.

Here is A little fun thing I bet a few of y’all know about :3. I’m new and I went into settings and saw color selector. I thought green looked appealing so I chose it. THEN…when I got back to the lvl everything was green,there was a blue sky and bamboo everywhere! If you choose the dark blue one it will turn night time in the bamboo forest <3 hopefully that lil hack of sorts will make your experience playing it even more delightful!

Too easy. This game is fun but TOO easy. Occasionally you’ll come across a challenging puzzle but after a couple of fails they queue up all the same tiles to make it TOO easy to win. And for the love of Mike please offer an option to turn off the hints. It’s and worthless distraction. The upside is that you don’t need to pay to play so I just keep on grinding through the levels for an occasional distraction from the wifey. :)

Obsessed with this game. I downloaded this game about 3 days ago and I’m already on level 150. It does everything the advertisements said! I’ve only gotten a couple ads and all of them are skippable within 5 seconds. The gameplay is super smooth, and the British narrator makes some hilarious comments. 100% better than similar games like candy crush. Definitely would recommend this game!

Love the game, ads are a bit excessive. The game is awesome. Love the game play and the snarky comments. However, having to deal with ads after every single level is a bit excessive. I understand that is the only way they are making revenue off of this game, but gameplay would be a lot better if I only had to skip ads after every 4 or 5 levels, instead of every single one.

Perfect game. Fun to play with great rewards, one of the most redeeming features to me is their ad placement. They go out of their way to play as little ads as possible, you may get one every time you complete a game three times in a row, but then they won’t play any ads for a considerable time after that. Satisfying layout with multiple different themes to choose from, becoming my new addiction!

Can I pay you $5 for an ad-free game?. This is a well-made, easy to play game that’s relaxing and lots of fun, but the ads after every level are an annoyance. I’d rather pay $5 to remove ads. You don’t have to push it hard like all other apps do, but the option should be there for those willing to pay it.

Fun game- deceiving ads. This is an enjoyable game. It’s not incredible, but it is fun. My biggest issue is all the ads I’ve seen about this game have specifically talked about how limited the in-game ad experience is which attracted me since most games these days are ad simulators. For the first 20-30 levels this was accurate, but I am not at level 80 and am seeing an ad almost every level. This seems deceptive and almost scummy. Really turned me off of the game.

Good Game, Just Feels Like a Cash Grab. This game is fun and I had an enjoyable time with the actual gameplay but the ads are killing my braincells slowly. Every time I finish a level (which takes like a minute tops), I get an ad, and sometimes they refuse to let me skip because the button is hidden by the ad makers. It really just ruins the experience and there is absolutely no way to turn them off (not even a paywall). It's so unfortunate and frustrating because this game is one of the better made puzzle games on the app store.

Amazing game with a singular flaw…. The game is clean, fun, and would be my go to obsession if it weren’t for the ads. Time in the app is about 80% on ads and 20% game play. I wouldn’t mind ads if it were after a few levels but after each level is a bit much. I would much prefer a no ads purchase option. Curator, please talk with the team about adding an in-app purchase for no ads. Five stars with that.

Good, simple match game!. I’ve been looking for a match 3 that doesn’t add a bunch of story, complexity, digital currency, etc, to the game—something simple that can keep my hands busy while i’m watching TV or waiting for an appointment. This one satisfies that perfectly! My only complaint is that I don’t see a way to pay into the app to remove ads, which I would love love love to do.

Great Game. Gameplay is simple and well crafted. Game also has a narrator of sorts, which is something pretty uncommon in a lot of similar games which is a nice touch. Ads appear after every or most stage completions, but are relatively benign as they are nearly always insta-skippable and don’t have the issues of other games where you click on the smallest “x” button you’ve ever seen, and it still brings up a drawer with the app details to download. Only things I would change would be: 1. Option to pay to remove ads ($2-$5) 2. Option to change the delay before the game shows you a valid move to make (or option to disable this entirely)

Hmm, are the ads changing?. Game was advertised as a minimal banner ad at the bottom, suddenly when I hit level 10 there was a full screen ad between each level. Hopefully not changing for the worse because I was enjoying it so far.

Long Ads You Can’t Skip. the ad that made me download the game said there was fewer ads & that you can skip all ads. there is currently a 1 min ad playing that i am fully unable to skip. there was a short ad i could skip after it played for 15 sec between levels. this long ad is approx 2 min of gameplay after that ad, is unskippable, and interrupted a level to play. i knew there would be some ads but hoped this game would be more like what phone games used to be, as it was advertised. it is exactly the same as all the rest.

Misleading TikTok Ads. I found this app the same way I'm sure most people did; TikTok. and I'm also confident I had a similar first impression “fully skippable ads?! Sign me up!” But that enthusiasm was quickly reduced to pure irritation once the game started force feeding me ads after EVERY level…they give you the first couple levels ad-free and then bombard you every chance they get; I'm assuming to make up for the lost revenue from all of the “skippable ads” Game is a-lot of fun but ultimately the Ads make it a waste of time. Do not recommend.

Lost the curator. I’ve really been enjoying this game, and the best part was waiting to hear the curator remarks. But the last few games played, the curator has been silent. I don’t see any settings to turn that feature off and on. I’ve turned off my phone in case it needed a reset. I’ve also installed the last update. I hope this feature returns. Thanks, Joni

Simple yet great. I’ve seen some reviews saying otherwise, but in my experience, the number of ads has been just as advertised with a banner ads and a skippable ad after every 20 games or so. The simple nature of the game is what gives it its charm, but I feel this is just the beginning and would love to see how this game grows. An infinite mode and an ad-free purchase option would be amazing.

Incredible job!!. This is, without a doubt, hands down, UNEQUIVOCALLY, the single best match-3 game I have ever seen. The design is sleek and satisfying, the effects are positively fantastical, and the gameplay is, quite literally, incredibly well executed. Given that this is a match-3 game, (which is not my favorite game genre), I cannot praise its design enough. Thank you.

Gameplay!. The game play is amazing so far no adds and that’s awesome and on top of that I’ve enjoyed the color and the voice from the narrator and it’s super laid back set up gives you a relaxing play experience! And with the option to mute the voice makes it more customizable! So far great game and I hope it keeps the same path!

I recommend it’s a pretty decent game I really like it. Are you downloading the game here’s a few things that should push you over the edge then everything is nice it’s like not annoying at all and it’s just generally nice because there’s no time limit to know we are lives and serve it’s just nice

Pretty sure this is my first ever review…. - which should say a lot. I’ve loved candy crush for a long time but cannot stand how difficult it is to complete levels without purchasing their power ups. It’s so busy on the screen that it hurts my eyes after a while. This game has given me everything I love about candy crush and made it 1000% better. The banter from The Curator adds such a warm element to the game. It makes me feel like I’m playing along side a close friend. I like how clean everything looks. It’s not flooded with advertisements everywhere which makes it easy on the eyes and the interface is really user friendly. I’m a huge huge huge fan!

Great game but many ads. It’s so simple and enjoyable but there are two ads inbetween every level. But unlike many reviews they are actually skippable after 5 seconds of watching so it’s not unbearable. I would like to know how many levels there are because I’m already on 50. In app purchase for no ads would be great.

Relaxing and Addicting. I love the frictionless gameplay that this game provides. I can play for hours. Super easy to get to the next level and even the most challenging levels only take 3 or 4 tries. I only wish you could turn off when the game gives you hints. Really fun!!

So far so good!. The narrator and the game itself are both relaxing and engaging in a way that I haven’t seen in a long time Usually games like this are riddled with games and in-games purchases but this is not this is new this different, this is hopefully the future of mobile games
