Fix All Errors Please!. How many times do you need feedback and proof that earned vouchers are not being added despite following all instructions. Chapter prices consistently change for the SAME CHAPTER! Has nothing to do with how long the chapters are that explains the difference in pricing, they are all very short. Multiple times I purchased a chapter to then be hit with an error AND I lost my coins/vouchers! I’ve cancelled my subscription, it’s not worth it anymore. Chapters are too short, prices are too high and all over the place, the entire app is full w errors. Worse of it all, even with a subscription, still needed to play games to get enough vouchers to keep reading. Reading is the afterthought in this app!

Great stories but app needs improvement.. I am really loving the stories. I’m reading on this app. My problem comes because I cannot afford to pay to read. I have to watch ads in order to see the next chapter. That gets really frustrating when the app takes all of my credits rather than just the amount that the chapter needs. On top of that, it quite often makes me have to repay for chapters that I’ve already unlocked. And additionally, the price you have to pay for the chapters seems a little steep when the ability to earn credits is so limited. There have been several times when I have not even gotten to read one chapter in a day because of the tight limits in the higher prices. It needs some balancing. I have absolutely no problem watching ads to earn the right to read. I wouldn’t mind watching an ad or two for each chapter, but it frustrates me when I have the time and desire to read and I’m limited so severely. Other than the frustrations with being able to read credit-wise, it’s great. Keep the great stories coming!

DIABOLICAL!. Now that I finally finished my book, I can write this review. Pro’s: Amazing stories and authors on this app. It’s so addicting. Con’s: Grammar errors, and last but not least, ITS SO EXPENSIVE! It should NOT have costed me more than $150 to finish a 214 chapter book! However, don’t get me wrong I love to support small writers. But this is ridiculous, I immediately deleted the app once I was done with my book. Paying more than $150, almost to $200 on the high end for a 214 chapter book is outrageous when I could’ve got 2-3 hard cover books for that price! Get It together people we are in a recession and don’t have money for this! 😐

Disappointed. Love the books but the subscriptions aren’t as good. Once you subscribe it will not allow you to double check what you’re paying for or what you get for it. I’m paying 9.99 a month and have only gotten like 4 chapters then nothing for the remainder of the month. It’s a bit confusing and it doesn’t allow you to look up your own subscription after purchasing it. Just says your paying 9.99 nothing else, no description of what that plan is. A bit frustrating. Will more than likely delete after I finish this one book I’m reading.

The Mateless Pregnant Luna. A bit disappointed so far as the book seems to be written by AI and very poorly edited. Eye colors change and not the wolf type change. A reunion in one chapter is in the next chapter written in a completely different way as though the author got mixed up and forgot it had already occurred. The storyline jumps around. One chapter someone dies, the next chapter is written differently and the person lives. Definitely won’t bother with anymore from this author. ****Now it has gotten even worse as though several chapters had been entirely skipped. Suddenly they are at a police station recovering a kidnapped child that that storyline had never even been mentioned. The book has devolved into a pathetic mess. 💥💥SKIP THIS AUTHOR AND APP! TOTAL WASTE IF TIME AND MONEY!!!

Bad practices - don’t waste your time or money. To able to read 1 book in a timely manner, you have to pay more than the cost of a book in a store. You can and gain vouchers everyday but the more chapters you read the higher the cost of vouchers. I’m at the point where the daily vouchers doesn’t add up to what it costs to read 1 chapter. I’ve spent $16 on vouchers and it was enough for me to read maybe 10 chapters. I’m on chapter 23 and there is about 100 chapters to the book. It is going to cost me about $128 to be able to read the book at my pace or several months to “earn” enough vouchers. Don’t waste your time or money.

Disappointed. This app did seem legit and liked the stories as they started, paid the $20 and had a bunch of “coins” to use but realized the amount in the chapters to how long the book was as well as it’s not proof read at all so pronouns and grammar are messed up which does confuse the story at times, would’ve cost way more then it should be after paying a monthly fee as well so cancelled and assumed as it said you’d keep your membership until the end of the month GIVEN I PAID already… all of a sudden after the next chapter mysteriously I only had a few coins left and couldn’t read anymore… it’s almost like paying $80 for one book with the monthly fee…all of these apps are the same just buy a book honestly

Thieves/no response. Besides the status quo every once in a while I come across a unique story. I have paid up to the two hundred mark. It is on going and the author is publishing 2 chapters a month. No problem. After a while earlier names and events kind of became a blur. So I decided to re read to refresh my memory. They changed me again for chapters I already paid. I sent feedback and never received a response. I’m giving it two stars because I really like the story.

Disappearing Vouchers??. I’ll start off by saying that I’m thankful they’ve made it to where you can watch ads to unlock some chapters, as well as the wheel and check in/ watching ads to get more vouchers, but it’s clear they want you to pay if you want to get anywhere quickly. I don’t know if this is the fault of the author or something the app could do but it is a little annoying-although not bad enough for me to stop reading- that there are some issues with grammar in the story I'm reading. Like I saw on someone else’s review, unfortunately I’m not the only one this has happened to with disappearing vouchers. I don’t remember how many they had, but I had 85 vouchers- I remember because I needed 89 vouchers to unlock the next chapter, and had used up all of my ways to get more. The only other option being paying for them, which I’m too poor to afford. I looked and I found 15 vouchers, instead of the 85 I had saved up. I’m sure I didn’t spend them elsewhere because-as I said earlier, I had been saving them to unlock the next chapter. Which by the way- the number of vouchers you need goes up each chapter. I find that upsetting because not only that, but the number of vouchers you need is already a bit too high for my liking, especially considering the measly amount you’re able to earn. To make matters worse, after a certain amount of chapters, it changes to the only way you’re able to unlock an episode is to buy it with the vouchers or coins you have saved up or bought with real money. I honestly don’t know why I’m giving it three stars instead of lower; I’ve gotten hooked on the story I'm reading (The Packs Doctor for anyone wondering). And I do appreciate there are ways to get vouchers other than buying with real money, few as they are and as little as they get you, it’s just super frustrating and upsetting that after moving along at a snails pace these past few days as I slowly save up ( the new user tasks aren’t even up yet!) all my patience and time are just thrown away.. I really hope this issue is resolved.. I was toying with somehow finding the money to buy enough to at least finish my story, but now I’m not so sure it would be worth it..

Lies about costs. I just started using this app and have already paid $95 US and haven’t even purchased enough ‘tokens’ to finish the novel. My last purchase said that this amount would be enough but now after only a few more chapters I have to buy even more - not happening and I am so angry. I do not recommend at all. The current book I am reading says it has 399 chapters- how do I figure out what it would cost me to finish just that one book?

They got rid of watching ads to read a chapter. I just came to check if one of the books I was reading updated and when I clicked on it, it doesn’t have the option to watch ads for a chapter anymore. I went to my library and checked with other books I haven’t finished and it’s the same situation as well. So disappointing, since lots of people probably use the Ads to be able to enjoy the author’s writing without having to spend a ridiculous amount of money for novels that aren’t complete. There’s a decent amount of amazing writing in this app. Sad that they had to restrict readers from discovering amazing writing and hinder authors from gaining more support. Hope they change this back so people could still support and enjoy the author’s writing.

Love the reads. Hate the app.. I understand writers need to get paid for what the write. I completely agree. I write myself. But when you add up all it takes to pay to be able to read a full story you’re paying hundreds of dollars for A SINGLE book. I’d love to give it five stars but the app itself prevents it from getting that. There needs to be more ways to unlock chapters. And they need to be cheaper. I did the math for the story I really want to finish and it would cost around $60 just to finish it. One single book. It doesn’t even cost that to get a hardcover version of books. Irritated with the layout. Love the stories.

Not bad but needs improvement. I really enjoy the stories and the characters going through the motions with them. However this platform does not make is is to follow alone as it repeats chapters and loses order of what’s going on and where you should be. It takes you a sec to realize it’s not starting where you left off but repeating the current chapter over at least 2-3 times. But you have to skim through it still just to make sure it not going into the next storyline as it does that. So there’s no smooth transitions.

Overpriced. The stories are overpriced, you will spend more money than on an actual published book. These stories are not proofread for mistakes or spelling/grammar errors. You pay for each chapter which are usually very short. There are not that many opportunities to earn free credits. You could maybe get enough to read 1-2 chapters a day. Seems like a huge cash grab from the app and I doubt the authors get paid very well considering you could spend $100 on one story. I think you should be able to earn credits for correcting errors in the writing, it really drives me nuts how many spelling/grammar errors or things like mixups in names are in every story I have read. It honestly just seems like a huge rip off for readers and the authors.

AI STORIES & NEVER ENDING PAYMENT LOOP. If you expect to be able to access and read good stories at your convenience for a reasonable price, this is NOT the app for you. I cancelled and sought a refund (unsuccessfully) after one day. Story quality, grammar and even spelling declines the more you read. Some of it reads like bad AI…yuck! And the system of credits and points makes no sense. It’s set up to take advantage of those engrossed in a story willing to pay more and more money to continue reading. I thought I could avoid the constant drip of payment demands by paying monthly to subscribe. NOPE! This app is a sham. Don’t be fooled like I was.

Don’t do it. 2 stars, only because the story I was trying to read was awesome. I just got a one month subscription last week. But I still can’t finish reading the first story I started. Matter of fact, I bought two same day because I ran out of coins/vouchers. But the subscription is supposed to give you coins/ vouchers each day. I haven’t received a thing. Anytime I open the app, it asks me to top up to continue with the same story. Over $40 down the drain because this app is a scam.

Good stories, but subscription doesn’t give the daily login rewards it claims. I like a lot of the stories that are on here, but the problem comes in when I’ve paid for a subscription to get daily vouchers, and then I don’t get those vouchers I paid for. I’ve tried restarting, and updated the app. No change. Very disappointing. So just stick with the one time purchase coins and vouchers, at least you’ll actually get those

SCAM!. Do not download app it’s a scam! It can cost over $100 to read one book. I paid $20 and could not even read half a book. The owners of this app will come back with a generic response to this review that they charge so much because they want to motivate their authors to write better. First off, no way of knowing all this money is actually going to the writers. Second off, over $100 for a book? That’s crazy even if I want to support the writers. Books are not even proofread and seem to be AI generated sometimes. Terrible app. If you want free do NovelFlow. You have to watch adds but at least it’s free.

Digital AI books costs more than a real one. Wanted to try and read a single “book” on here. Each chapter which is only a few paragraphs long costs a hundred plus 20-50coins/vouchers. The stories are riddled with typos and wrong words making some sentences hard to read. A book published by a company costs way less than trying to read one of these. Also even self published authors books cost less. I like the idea of getting more authors more stories out here but the cost is stupid. Even the subscription of $30 a month is ridiculous. When you can go to a book store and buy 2-3 paperbacks or one brand new hard cover new release for that. With a subscription you can’t even get 2 chapters done.

Frustrating - difficult to get enough passes. I wanted to like this app. The stories I started reading for the most part were entertaining enough, though gramatical errors abound. Some were just garbage.. However, my biggest issue was the functionality. It is extremely difficult to get passes without paying for them (lots of time watching videos) and rewards for tasks were minuscule while the cost to unlock a chapter was excessive. How much a chapter cost was not even clear unless you were out of coins and passes enough to do the unlocking. I paid for a subscription and it said you got a certain amount of daily passes. I receive the initial bonus amount but then did not receive a daily amount except for what was expected to “earn” through tasks and video watching at the free level. I filled out a form to contact someone about the issue and never received a response. Finally I had to reach out to Apple but nothing has been resolved yet.

Something’s wrong. IF YOU GET THIS APP DON’T MAKE A PURCHASE!!!! The stories are good and that’s the only reason I gave two stars. I noticed that my coins disappeared over night. Being that I purchased them I was upset, I sent feedback to hopefully get some answers and no response. I later messaged two other times and still no reply. It’s been a little over a month and nothing. I suggest not buying anything from this app! The rewards are bad standard wise but if you’re patient with reading a story that’s the way to go.

My nephew went on my phone and was reading a book on here and ive requested multiple refunds.. I have been requesting refunds back to back on this app because my little nephew purchased coins on here without my permission and they refuse to give me a refund but I need the money back becuase a few Christmas gifts will not come in because there’s not enough money for said gifts in my account with the 80 dollars he spent on coins. Please reach out to me and fix this problem. Your app is the worst app ever it literally charged me way more than it was supposed to

‘No chapters’. That is the error I get when I try to go to the next chapter. I’ve paid for the coins. Paid for the vouchers. I was on chapter 143 out of 400 and suddenly it says no more chapters. So I swipe off the app and restart it and it works! …only for for a few more chapters then the cycle starts over again and again and again. So you may spend the money but that doesn’t mean you’re going to be getting what you paid for. Disappointed.

Great books, terrible prices. I love the books I feel like I can barely put them down they’re so good (even though the chapters are extremely short) but I’ve considered deleting the app because it costs way too much to even read a single chapter. And then I pay for the monthly subscription plan and don’t even see my “480” or something daily tokens because they make it so that even though you’re paying for them you still have to earn them and then you can’t even earn that much daily. Very disappointed.

No end to the stories they sell. My complaints about this app are endless. It’s really scammy, takes your time or money, and in my experience has never honored the agreements or packages it sells. I paid for unlimited book access with no ads, and the app forced me to watch ads when I tried to open it. I also tried a monthly subscription and conveniently it never awarded what it advertised. And then, after all of this, I was stupidly still super into 3 different books. After taking my time with stupidly ads and more money than I’d like to admit—there’s no end to the stories I’d given up resources for. They just end after a certain chapter. This awful app tries to hook you on an interesting story, but there’s no end or conclusion to the story. They just want to string you along indefinitely with no game plan for later. Please don’t waste any of your time or money on this app!!

Stories aren’t worth the scamming…. In front of my eyes, chapters keep increasing in cost. Example: I was about to unlock a chapter: I had 63 coins and it cost 61 coins. Right as I clicked “purchase”, it switched to 68 coins, so I would have to buy/earn 5 more coins since now I was short! I tried recording this to send as feedback, but of course you can’t record the screen, so I don’t even have evidence. Nevertheless, I am not lying: the price of chapters increase willy-nilly. Their unedited stories might be entertaining, but def not worth it—especially if you pay for coins.

Conflicted. The stories are great, but the prices to read them are absolutely insane, I shouldn’t have to pay $100 to reach a book when I can go to the book store and spend $10-$20🤯 after paying for vouchers, and then how expensive the chapters are…you spend SO much money so quick. Then when you do the subscription, they scam you out of your additional vouchers and points everyday that you paid for, then there is no app help so you can’t reach out to try to get them. It’s all a scam really!

Just don’t.. Don’t waste time on this app unless you have money to spend. I can overlook having to watch two ads each for the “free unlocked chapters”. I accepted being limited to the numbers of chapters I can read per day based on the number of coins/vouchers I could earn watching ads. Usually being 5 “free unlocked chapters” per day and earning enough coins for 2 more. The killer was 25 chapters into the book you can no longer use ads and free chapters. To continue the book you are required to spend money. I would rather spend the money on Kindle monthly with unlimited books as a more cost effective option.

Meh. Love the stories but you’re so limited to how much you can earn to read and then buying more vouchers is expensive considering I’ve noticed the price for chapter changes and it goes up. I subscribed hoping it would give me unlimited reading and it only gave me like 2000 vouchers which go very fast. Very annoying but good stories. Just so limited on how much you can read it seems like.

Don’t pay…... The story they hooked me in with was pretty good so I bought a subscription plan. It seemed like a good idea, but that’s where the good idea ends. I got a 1000 coins and was supposed to get extra bonus coins/vouchers every day. That hasn’t happened beyond what is typical and when I contacted customer service (twice) I heard nothing. Now in order to read the rest of the book I have to pay to open the rest of the chapters otherwise the 130 chapters I have left will take months to read. Ends up being more than the cost of a huge bestselling hardback and you don’t own it! One star for a good story.

Glitchy and NO customer service.. This app is free but to read more than 5 minutes a day you have to purchase vouchers. Cost me over $65 to read ONE book. Got annoyed because I had to pay to unlock the same chapter TWICE. Sent in a request for replacement vouchers two months ago and I still haven’t gotten a response. You can also check in daily and get cumulative rewards which also work like vouchers. Well every day the amount of those I have saved up decreases. Even though I haven’t read anything new on here in weeks. Seems they have a glitch or they make you pay twice and they reduce your rewards so you’ll pay more money. I’ve sent in a request for feedback about that as well but I’m not holding my breath that it’ll get a response. The stories are also not edited or proof read. Sometimes the names of the characters are mixed up and gets confusing.

New update. Love this app but disappointed in the new update. I only got to unlock two chapters total, because of the rewards I earned for today. When everyday id watch 20 adds to watch 10 chapters of each book I’m reading on top of the rewards I’d receive. Just sad I have to wait till tomorrow to maybe get another 2 chapters. I noticed I could win 50 vouchers now on the raffle, but obviously that’s only a chance. Maybe give us 3-5 chapters if we watch ads instead of the normal 10. Anywho I still love this app, and I’d hate to erase it because it’ll take me ages to finish my books now.

Too costly. So I started a story. I followed it to the app. I don’t have a problem paying to support the writers. I have a problem when I pay $20 for chapters but no completion of a book. I have read books often. I follow writers. I’ve paid $$$ over the years for books from these writers. But COME ON!! How much for one story when everyone has a POV? Sorry but you got some of my money for some of this story. Which by the way was more that 3 paperbacks or a hardback. Heck more than 2 downloads of books. That would have at least finished the story.

Frustrated with adds and being ripped off. I like the stories, however it is almost impossible to actually enjoy it because it takes a ridiculous amounts of coins to be able to read one chapter. For example i just had 246 coins and was only able to read one chapter because it took more than they said it took. I try to take the auto purchase off and it automatically goes back on. The amounts change frequency for the cost of a chapter and it takes forever to watch all the stupid adds or to play several levels of a stupid game just to read one chapter. So essentially it is a waste of time unless you have money to purchase tokens which will still cost more than Buying an actual book

Voucher/Time Inconvenience. I must say I really enjoy the stories on this app but they have a tendency to take your vouchers for chapters that have already been unlocked and partially read even after deselecting auto unlock. So when chapters that require vouchers come up you don’t have any or you don’t have enough. Also i noticed that there are chapters that cant be unlocked so you have to wait for the count down to complete. Well i have waited and i am still waiting for the chapter to unlock.

Steals your coins and vouchers you paid for!. I paid $20 to read a book I enjoyed. I purchased over 2k coins and had around 600 vouchers. I read the book for a full day and the following day I had 300 coins and 47 vouchers remaining, it showed me my balance and that the next chapter was going to be 53 coins. I clicked to accept and all my coins and all my vouchers disappeared, which it shouldnt have, and it still didn’t even unlock the next chapter. I closed the app and reopened thinking it was a glitch, nope all my balance was gone still. I waited a full day and tried again no it was all still gone. I even went in purchase history to look at all the coins and vouchers I had and what it recorded I used up reading, it didn’t equal to the full amount nor did it show it used any of that remaining balance to open that chapter. I refuse to buy more because this app is just stealing at this point. I’ve been patient and doing the things to get free vouchers for a few days but it did it again I had over 70 vouchers I needed 45 coins/vouchers to read my next chapter. I clicked to purchase it(it won’t show you that button unless you have enough to actual purchase it) all my vouchers disappeared, but it did add 1 coin. so I had 1 coin and 0 vouchers now, instead of 0 coins and 70 vouchers and it did not unlock the chapter again! I enjoyed this story I was reading but $20 and several days later and I’m only on chapter 73 of216 chapters and it keeps stealing from me.. so I will be giving up on this!

Outrageous Price. First, overall the stories are amazing and the authors are talented. The monetary cost or your time cost is a scam. Roughly $120 dollars to finish a book with 199 chapters, and I did the math with the discount. You absolutely can go the “free” route which is roughly watching 9 hours 45 mins of ads to unlock all the chapters. The is $120 or 9+ hours of your life to read a single book. Plus you only get 5 chapters a day going the add route. Now that is 39 days to read a book. The majority of their good stories have at least 200 chapters I find. That is crazy expensive with money or time. It breaks my heart.

Expensive and typos. Some of the stories are great. It’s expensive because I’m impatient and want to keep reading. There clearly isn’t anyone proofreading these stories. I love 3 of them and there are grammar issues with them all. I know my grammar is good either but I know how a story should go if I’m reading it. I gave it 4 stars because the stories are very interesting.

Can’t cancel my subscription.. I purchased the weekly subscription for $9.99, but after a few weeks I decided the platform wasn't a good fit for me and was not worth the cost. I followed the app's instructions multiple times to manage and cancel my subscription, yet I continue to be charged every week. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to cancel, I deleted my account and even placed a stop payment on the charges. Despite this, the company continues attempting to charge my card—now on what appears to be a daily basis for the same weekly subscription. The most frustrating part is that there is no readily available customer support or contact information to resolve the issue. I cannot recommend a service that makes it so difficult to cancel a subscription and stop unauthorized billing attempts.

Good but not the best. The stories are good and the videos to get free chapters are good but when I start purchasing coins the prices go up for chapters. I looked at one before I topped up and it was 114 coins but after I bought coins it went to 177 and that’s not fair. It should stay the same price as it was in the first place. And I find it also unethical that some chapters cost more than others, I feel they should be the same price for each one.

Scam. You can buy a book for 1/4 of the price. Half are poorly written with grammatical errors and you would have to pay over $100 to unlock the whole book. Then if you don’t pay anything you wait 2-3 days just to read 1 chapter! Don’t buy the monthly subscription either as it doesn’t do anything but give you the same amount of coins you could have spent half the price on. It also only gives you the counts once then you get nothing the rest of the subscription there is no other benefits from it other than getting those few coins at the beginning and those cost less just paying for them outside the subscription.

Don’t Even Bother with It. Cliche stories and dramas are a guilty pleasure of mine, when I’m not in the mood for anything else. Saw a story that I got to read a bit of through a Facebook ad, liked it well enough to try and see if I could read the rest. First mistake, of course. When it comes to stories, I only tolerate some grammatical errors. The story can’t be tedious to follow, otherwise I don’t care about it. This story had minor errors; a lot of unnecessary detail and spacing was in it, but it was easy enough to follow - plus it’s a story posted through a writing app, so the standards are low. I was allowed to read through one more chapter of said book, than bam! Immediately hit with an “unlock to continue.” When you join the app, it gives you 20 “Vouchers,” which is their micro-transaction currency for these lovely, festering wounds of stories, lol. But the unlock itself was for 134 of these vouchers. Immediately hit with a menu that pops up to purchase more, and just as quickly, I backed out of the app to write a review. One that hopefully actually shows up, because people deserve to know that there are better uses for your money. TLDR: Don’t even download this app. Maybe ask your friends for links or apps to stories that they also find a guilty pleasure to read. I hope this saves someone some time.

Great Novels, Severely Overpriced. So far, I have found several novels on this app that are extremely well written! A few of them, I have even been unable to stop reading. However, I find this app to be a thief! On average, it costs around $200 to finish a book. You have to spend your own money to purchase points, and these points unlock chapters. I think $200 for one book is a scam! Not all of the money goes to the authors, and I think it's a ridiculous price to pay. As good as these books are, I cannot justify continuing to use the app when the cost is so high.

Misleading, unclear content pricing, errors. Paid for a subscription that will not even cover the cost of one story. I was under the impression that once I paid to unlock the story I would at least be able to finish it. Wrong, at this rate I would end up paying anywhere from $40-$70 dollars to read one story. Furthermore, the writing should be proofread before it’s published as at times the errors were so egregious that it made the story difficult to read. Save your money, and support your local library where you will at least be able to read an entire book, for free. I won’t be waisting any more of my hard earned money on this scam. Poorly done Novellair.

Changing unlock cost once the amount was reached. Initially I really liked this app. The books are good, it was possible to read each day without having to make purchases. But I have noticed something that makes me angry. I finished a chapter and only needed a few more points to unlock the next chapter. I go to the rewards page and through a free spin I had enough points. When I go back to the chapter to unlock it the total needed has increased by 35+ points making it impossible to unlock it using watching ads. If you don’t want to make the books free then state that. Don’t change things because it doesn’t get you money. This happened one day so the next day I took screenshots of this. Play fair or don’t play at all.

Worth Paying For Stories You Like. The stories are entertaining. I don’t think any stories are proof read for spelling errors but other than that they are good stories. I enjoy reading things written by authors that are new or unknown. Yes you probably will spend real money to read the stories in full. BUT if money actually is given to the authors of the stories then it is worth it. Some of the “books” don’t seem like a single book. If they were printed my favorite book currently (still being written) is already at 129 chapters, that’s a series right there. The $20 a month for vouchers and coins (used to unlock chapters) is a great deal for a book series that I was able to read. Of course you can read more than one book at a time but I’m invested in this story now. The lack of 5 stars is only because the stories should be proofed if possible for spelling but that’s it. Really 4.5 stars.

Prices and scamming. The stories are absolutely phenomenal, or at least the two I’m reading, but I’ve spent $500 and haven’t even finished the sub-400 chapter book, haven’t spent any money on the other, also doing the math, it says it’s 99 coins or vouchers for a chapter, but I unlock it an go from my last 173 to 17, if I could pirate this story id love to, it’s the one with Gwen swann as the MC in the raft survival game if anyone can find a place to pirate the rest, charging over a dollar a chapter for a 400 chapter novel is absurd, and scamming an extra 70% coins than the price says is extremely scummy, seeing as how I’ve spent over $500 dollars and somehow am not even on chapter 220

Expensive & Sketchy. Got an offer to do a one week subscription for $8.99. Signed up and now no matter what I click or do, nothing shows I have a subscription but I keep getting charged. Doesn’t show on Apple/ App Store, nothing on app shows. No way to cancel. They replied one time and told me to click the coin banner and go to the bottom click to manage subscriptions and it shows I don’t have one and asks me to subscribe. When it takes me to my Apple subscriptions it only shows my Apple Music and Google Photos. No Novellair. I have reached out multiple times. Still being charged. Just charged for another week. Do not subscribe to anything on this app!!!

Impossible to cancel subscription. BEWARE! I got a pop up offer for $9.99 weekly. I finished the book I was reading and forgot about the subscription. It charged me the next week and I tried to cancel it but there’s no option to cancel anywhere! It’s not in my coin banner, not in my subscriptions tab in my settings, and I’ve tried to email them. I ended up terminating my account hoping that would cancel it automatically, but NOPE, it’s still charging me weekly!! I’ve been disputing it through my bank but it still continues to charge me every week! I don’t even use the app anymore. If anyone found a solution, please let me know. It’s such a scam.

About the app. Novellair is an interesting app that offers various of stories to read and learn more about. The only thing that is not appealing about the app is the voucher issue the app doesn’t offer enough voucher options specifically for those who doesn’t have the means to purchase books chapters. Thus I would like to suggest an increase of voucher and lower price of $1.99 for 4- 5 chapters and a $2-$3 just so people could read more.

Despite their terms and conditions saying “no refunds”, if you’ve been ripped off by this app’s ridiculous cost scheme, go to the Apple App Store “report a problem” page and ask for a refund, and choose “my purchase doesn’t work as expected”. Apple will likely refund you.

What a waste. I spent all this money to unlock chapters and read a book, when it updated it got rid of all my Progress and could reread the chapters I had bought…. It’s honestly a waste of money specially when the books have hundreds of chapters and the chapters aren’t even long… Which is unfortunate because some of the books are really good!

it’s just a scheme to get more money. i am ashamed to say i spent money on this app. you need a ridiculous amount of coins to unlock chapters which are too short. then they say you can watch adds to get more coins - but the app won’t let you due to a “network era” when there isn’t one. the app is a scam and i’m very disappointed- the writing isn’t even that good and the stories read like they were written by 12 year olds.

Take forever. Takes forever to save to unlock chapters unless you pay for them. I refuse to pay as been burnt by apps before, and it take a month or more to save enough from Daily checks in to open a chapter just to wait again for the next one

Horrible. Really bad user interface and navigation, horribly expensive chapters, can’t even scroll with the books, and the writing is very subpar…even for this kind of genre😅 feels like wattpad

Fail!. To unlock new chapters you need to do a list of things, after doing so you don’t get enough to unlock a chapter. Then when you do a ‘unlock next chapter purchase failed’ message comes up and takes your vouchers but doesn’t unlock the chapter so you have to go through the same process the next day.

RIP OFF. Paid for $49.99US monthly subscription, read for a few hours, really liking the book. Then, a few hours later, was told I had to spend even more money if I wanted to get the next chapter of the book! Subscription cancelled, AP deleted. Reported

Need better chapters. I thought I would give this app another try. It really is too bad that the main female character is always weak and pathetic in these stories. The chapters keep repeating the same thing over and over again. These stories drag on much longer than necessary. Published books you buy are not over 300 pages long and cost a lot less. I guess the longer you drag things out by repeating what we already know, the more money you make.

Untrustworthy. Signed up for the monthly subscription and the daily rewards aren't what they say. I also redeemed a gift card hoping to use it to unlock more chapters--you can't even use apple wallet money in this app!!

Scam. I bought a monthly subscription because I liked a few of the books. I didn’t get any rewards my credits ran out after like 12 chapters. It won’t let me top up my credits although they didn’t give me all the credits, they’re trying to force me to buy a subscription again despite it being a monthly paid subscription. I definitely canceled my subscription because I don’t trust them. Sent an email days ago and never received any feedback.

Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to finish it because I’m not paying $150 more ($200 total) to be able to read one single book. I even paid for the monthly subscription but they still want more money. Chapters are repetitive and written for you to spend money. Ripoff. Do not waste your money.

More expensive than buying real books. This app is incredibly expensive. My 24.99 subscription wasn’t even enough to read half of one book which is absolutely ridiculous. I am an avid reader and have no issue paying for books- or supporting the authors, but the fact a monthly subscription isn’t even sufficient for one book (with many spelling mistakes and grammar errors) is crazy to me. I have cancelled the subscription and quite honestly feel ripped off. Do yourselves a favour and just buy a book. There are also other apps where you can pay for unlimited reading- much better value.

I paid $24.99 for the monthly subscription but realized that when you get to a certain point in the book in my case, chapter 51 of the book, I was reading, I had to buy vouchers to unlock the next few chapters. What’s the point of getting a subscription? Also, even though the stories are good, the grammar is horrible. Thank God’s head can process what the writers are trying to relate because these books are horribly written. Don’t these books get read by an editor before they are published? I am cancelling!

Should say subscription required. I downloaded the app as one of the stories got my attention on another app, unfortunately it wasn’t until I downloaded the app and read the next chapter that I found out a subscription is required to read anything. You have to pay for vouchers, but reading comments now that seems like a complete waste of money, with no other options to get vouchers eg watching ads. Disappointing to say the least bordering on disgusting considering it’s sleazy how they leave out the most important info, as it only mentions a subscription for a free app, but not that it’s not optional.

Piece of garbage. I got this app because I got hooked by the trailer story they posted on Facebook. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, but even so it was not worth the grossly excessive amount I had to pay. Not only that, but the Novellair app settings are atrociously limited. I have vision issues with reading, and even with increasing the font size I needed to use a magnifying glass to read the flipping book. This is the worst piece of trash available. The only smart thing they did was provide a decent story for the trade to get people hooked.

Frustrating. I have tried contacting the company and they never reply back. The chapters repeat themselves so you pay twice for the same chapter and the cost of the chapters change , it will say 235 coins (which is way to much for such short chapters ) and I only have 105 and if I scroll away and come back all of a sudden it unlocks . Stay FAR AWAY from this App. I subscribed to a book for five bucks and only got 12 (very short) chapters out of 165. That would make this VERY BADLY written story $6,875. Holy…. The story could’ve been good but the writing was abysmal. I wanted to support new writers for their work but it’s either AI that doesn’t understand colloquialisms or somebody who English is a second language. Either way my auto reader doesn’t work with the app and I couldn’t bear to read much father when my $5 ran out. I was just too shocked to not write a review and warn everyone away.

Forced adds even if you pay for chapters. You are forced to watch endless adds even if you pay money to unlock chapters. It starts of infrequent like maybe one add every few chapters but the frequency increases so that by chapter 20 you are getting an 1min+ add every chapter. And half don’t even let you exit out of the add making you restart the app. And surprise you have to watch an add before you can continue reading.

The CEOs Contract Wife. Novellair is a total scam. I paid for the monthly subscription and I’m constantly asked to pay more to finish reading a book. I am not going to pay more than $20 for a novel and they should be much more transparent in their pricing policies because it does not explain at all why I’m being asked for more money. The story was good, but I’m not going to pay hundreds of dollars to finish reading a book when I could buy one at the bookstore for $10.

Pay to read and ads. So you have to buy coins/vouchers in order to read thee story’s but you also have to deal with ads popping up. It’s bad enough it cost an arm and a leg to get through a book with continuity issues, grammar and spelling error. Read one book where the same little paragraph was repeated 4 times in one chapter just wasting my money to read the same thing over and over That’s ridiculous!

real review. I love to support small and local authors. Never would I EVER spend hundreds of dollars on a singular book nonetheless for a book that’s unfinished with the risk the author would give up on it before finishing. Some books have 500+ chapters which is great but when the chapter is 45-55 vouchers, 3500 vouchers for $20 that only covers 70 chapters. Thats $140 for ONE STORY. And oh the daily vouchers you get, enough for a chapter or 2 a day. I just can’t get behind supporting this app. I paid less money to buy and 8 book PUBLISHED book set

Books are great but the apps seems to double charge me to open new chapters. I am reading The Hidden Luna Queen. I’m immersed in it. But when I use coins and vouchers to open the next chapters, it takes more than is required and it still doesn’t open the chapter until I buy more coins and pay again. There is no customer service option to address this issue.

Do not download this app!. You pay $20 for a monthly subscription but the subscriptions only gets you so many coins. You can’t even read a full book for the cost and will have to continue buying more coins. You’ll end up paying $80+ for one book. Not worth it in the slightest. Get the kindle unlimited for cheaper. The stories are not great. No proof reading. Feels like English is not the author’s first language and at one point I questioned if it was written by AI.

Way to pricey. I got hooked on a book and spent 36$ and the book was not even 1/2 way through. The story is good but in no way should cost more than a normal hard back book. I would be $80 in to read the whole thing! Disappointing. The stories are obviously b string and are not proofed. The app doesn't explain the cost well or how a chapter/book will cost you. Doesn't seem to be any way to contact people. Seems like fraud

Unfortunately as good as the stories are this app won’t last long there are apps with very better deals and similar stories that don’t charge an arm and a leg, it’s unfortunate that not even the subscription will help you pay for the books and if they change this then maybe i’ll come back to the app but after i use my coins i’ll proceed to off load the app as its over priced. sad

The app doesn’t load. The story is very nice but the up keeps giving network failure even when all the other app in my phone work fine. It also doesn’t load. You need to keep closing the app and opening again several times until you can access library or any other feature. Very frustrating!

Stories good, but price gouge. You can’t even read half the book for $50 American. I can read 4 books for that in Kindle and the editors actually correct spelling and bad grammar. Truth is the writers are talented, but needing help with grammar and pronouns. If prices were better I would stay with the app, but considering the price you would think they could hire someone to proofread for them.

False Advertising for Overpriced Trash. First of all, be completely aware that you will spend well over $100 to read a single book that is riddled with grammatical errors and typos. However, what bothers me the most, is that apps like this will lure you in from social media falsely advertising scenes that aren’t even in the book. If you are going to charge three times the price of a New York Times best selling author, the least you could do is be honest about your advertising.

Not worth it. This app is terrible I remember when I was 14 I was able to read stories like the ones on here for free and people would even link pictures to show what people looked like to give visuals etc. Now I’m paying like 50-70 bucks to read books with thousand of spelling errors, double pages, lengthily etc. Its really a one of a kind scam. Other apps like this make you watch video adds etc to get coins to be able to read. All these app though are scams and money grabbers.

Trying to recharge me. I cancelled my account with this app and they keep trying to charge me to the point that Apple won’t allow me to download anymore apps I have tried to see if I can contact anyone since Apple won’t help me to get them to stop trying to charge me. They have great books but I cannot keep paying for this subscription especially since I have not used this in weeks .

Would like to finish a story but will go broke in doing so. This app is way too expensive, by the time you’ve finished one story, you’ve spent enough money to buy out half a library, it’s ridiculous. The story is good, but not worth getting robbed over. Each chapter should not cost 188 coins, especially when the story’s are over 100 chapters long, and full of non stop fillers, just to get you to have to keep buying more coins… I’m done.

Great Storytelling, Terribly Expensive. The books are interesting, but the price to read one book is absolutely insane. The monthly subscription should include at least one “free” book. The price to read a few chapters is equivalent to outright buying a book. It should not exceed $30 to read the entire book and that’s be gracious.

DO NOT pay for this app. I’m an avid reader, and when I came across an ad showing part of a story, I was immediately hooked and wanted to read the full thing. I ended up paying around $5 on an app, only to unlock just two chapters that took me less than two minutes to read. For that price, I could buy a full 500-page novel on Kindle. This app feels like a complete rip-off—and to make matters worse, even in those brief chapters, I noticed numerous grammatical errors. Very disappointing.

“NO CHAPTER” OR “THIS STORY IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE”. I was reading a book and when i was about to go the next chapter, it suddenly said “NO CHAPTER”. AFTERWARDS I did everything from restarting my phone to swiping off the app, but it is sill the same. ADDITIONALLY, when I left and clicked the book it then gave me the “This story is currently unavailable” notification. AND IT DID THAT TO EACH BOOK. The discover says “No Content” too. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE SO I CAN READ, and have my subscription worth it!!

Chapter prices change constantly. Prices of chapters change every time you go out and back in. There was a chapter that was 75 vouchers. I had 72. Watched a video to get 5 free to read chapter when I went back in the chapter was 109. Went out then back in it was 95. Did it again then it was 126. I’ve sent messages to the company and no response. Stories are good, but all they want is for you to keep spending more and more.

Regretful. I enjoyed reading the story…it was actually better written than some apps. So I purchased a subscription thinking I would be able to read the story through to the end. But then I was shocked to learn even after subscribing I would still have to pay to unlock chapters. So not cool. I won’t be subscribing long, that’s for sure! A rip off.

Money scam!. Stories are catchy and good. However they want you to subscribe monthly but that doesn’t allow you to read any more. It unlocked like 3 chapters then wanted ALOT of money to unlock more chapters! If I let it sit for a couple of days it skips the next chapter and unlocks the one after that. So no way to read the whole story. What a scam!

Not free. The closest thing to being free is that you can collect five vouchers per day. However, it’s at least 70 vouchers to open one chapter. The smallest amount of vouchers that you can purchase is 500 for five dollars. It’s totally ridiculous. Such a shame because the couple of stories I started are really good. It’s unfortunate that they’re greedy and limit the number of readers they have where they could have so many more by offering more discounts.

Ad Option for Free Ch!. I finally figured it out! For any letterlux apps, you get 10 free chapters a day by watching ads. The moment you pay for coins to read more chapters, the option to watch ads is removed entirely. So, if you want to read any books on a letterlux app, make sure you don’t pay for coins in order to maintain the free option. Wish they would change this!

Just a thought. Just wish there was more ways to read without paying so much money to continue reading. 100% agree with giving the authors money towards their creative writing. Just a lot of money having to read a really awesome story.

Fun app. Easy to use the app all the books are organized by categories. I like the romantic novels. Everything is easy to find and read. So many options and it doesn’t have to be all wearwolf and vampires.

Unlimited is VERY limited. I don’t normally write reviews but I just bought the month pass that said unlimited reading for a month like 3 days ago and now I can’t continue reading the book because it’s saying I don’t have sufficient funds?? $20 for a month of unlimited reading and it’s only been 3 days and I can’t read the book?? Refund it or give me my month free.

Membership scam. I purchased a monthly membership and have not received the free coins . I’ve tried to message them about it but have not received any feedback : update 04:12:25 I received a message how many weeks later . Telling what their policy is and Basically they claim that you get coins every day you log in I never got the daily coins even went as far as logging out and back in and still nothing .

Some Great Reads. I am enjoying some of the stories so far. I said, “some” because not all stories that were featured here were worth reading to me- personally. Stories that were poorly written, “ghetto” talks, is not for me. Stories that understood their audience, and well-written, is worth paying $9.99/week.

Not unlimited with a Monthly Pass. I purchased the monthly pass as I am a fast reader. However, after just one day I was locked out from further chapters. I tried to learn more under my profile in the app, or maybe a FAQ section, but so far no easy way to learn why I can’t read more of the book I was reading. I won’t be continuing my subscription if I am limited on what the app claimed to be a monthly subscription.

Expensive. I ended up getting the monthly subscription, thinking I would save money because I kept buying into the chapters. But after you read a few chapters, even after you played for the subscription, it still charges you the same, so I’m not sure what the subscription is for. It is definitely not worth the $20 per month in addition to paying for additional reading. I ended up canceling the subscription.

Very expensive. I like the books. And initially you only had to watch an add or 2, or 3. So you can open the next chapter. But after awhile, you need to get coins and vouchers. Novellair. I’m really enjoying your books just wished you could earn more so you didn’t have to pay all the time to read more than a chapter.

Complaint. Came from a fb for a story I was really interested in, but it doesn’t appear there’s a way to “earn” free coins, only to purchase them. And the book I was reading is already 70 chapters and still ongoing with anywhere between 40-80 coins per chapter, but most cost about 60-70 coins. Chapters 5-20 were 980 coins, which was I think about $10 when I did the math, I’m not paying that much to read an UNFINISHED book. I’ll just stick to my Kindle Unlimited subscription…

Subscriptions are misleading. Excellent stories (although desperately in need of editing). However, the best subscription ($20/month) isn’t really what it seems. They charge you $20 “for the month” then stop your book at Ch 50 until you pay extra money above and beyond your subscription price. This is highly deceitful. For now I’ll have to stick to real books.

Misleading. After you purchase a $20 subscription, you get halfway through a book before you have to purchase more coins to unlock additional chapters. Each chapter is worth different coin amounts and is inconsistent. I’ve spent more on an online book then I ever have with a physical hard copy book.. I’ve spent nearly $50 already to have access to around 65 chapters when the series is over 140 chapters. Not worth the money, will be deleting.

Good story bad price no refund. This is crazy that i buy coins instead of subscriptions to read just one book for now and then i have 14 days to use them or else they disappear and you dont do refunds. The story was good for the chapters i got to read but since that didnt take coins and wanted me to subscribe i will probably lose my money spent on it.. This is wild i wouldnt recommend your app to anyone.

Waste of money and time. This app is very expensive. Buying coins to read some poorly written stories. I spent over $40 and it didn’t even get me through the end of the book. Navigating the app and finding decent stories to read is hard and if you accidentally sign up to renew coins, best of luck trying to turn off the autopay or getting their customer service to help you. They are charging me $20 a month for an app I don’t even want or use. It’s robbery.

I love the stories. I love the stories but I hate that I get 70 chapters In and I’m already spending 20$ again just to get halfway through the book so technically I’m spending like $120 just to finish one book. Seems kind of wild. I wish there were free versions of the book. I have stage three brain cancer and I really enjoy these types of books and I can’t even afford it. I lost my job when I got sick.

Easy to use.. I love the kind of books on this app, the only downfall is the payment for bigger books, but the bonuses are bigger than a lot of other similar apps.

It’s alright. Overall I like the stories but I dislike not having a subscription system instead of the credits system, and it would be even better if it had a setting to read the story to you, like some text to speech or something. Overall the stories are good but the cost might be a lil pricy

The books are ok - app is a SCAM!. They actually have some really good books on this app… HOWEVER, they scam you the way they charge for coins! I bought a package and was supposed to get 10k coins and 5650 vouchers and I was only given 1700 vouchers. Then after several messages sent to them, I never got a response and never got my vouchers. Additionally, if a chapter costs 99 coins to unlock, they will take much more than that, trying to force you to buy more coins sooner than you need to. SCAAMMMMM!!!!!!!
