Illinois 511 Traffic Cameras App Reviews

No video footage. The cameras are snapshots not videos. The photos aren’t updated instantly. Some are from a year ago.

Nothing works. Very few cameras works, majority are off for repairs, doesn’t worth the money, better find different app to check traffic and weather conditions!

Confused. I just want to see a map of road conditions with a legend. This is confusing

This is awesome!. Love this app! Helps monitor weather at certain intersections along my route and I can see if there are any delays with construction season coming up. Glad I found it!

Stupid. Took less then. Min to determin its not what i thought it would be. Iowas 511 immidiately pops up a road conditions map. This is NOT the same and charges. IOWAS IS FREE

Why just cameras?. The cameras are cool and all but why not show traffic, construction, weather closures, etc?

Too hard to use!. We were traveling through Illinois on our way to Florida. I wanted to use 511 to ensure our safe travel during these winter storms. I could not figure the app out so I’m deleting it. I would put a major city in and there would be no cameras available. It would be nice if they configure this app to be the same as Minnesota and Iowa so at a glance I can tell where it’s safe to drive or not.

Terrible and Glitchy. Terrible web cameras. Nothing streaming and half of them don’t even work. I want a refund!

Little work. It would be a lot better if they cameras were live video feeds instead of just photos of the area most of the other apps that go by like 511 then the state have live video camera feeds

ILLINOIS sucks. App isn’t useful at all. Your better off just driving on the roads to find out the conditions

Great layout, little viewing options. I was so excited that I downloaded this paid app. Worth the few bucks for the convenience. However, very few cameras close to my commute even worked. I’m not sure how constantly broken down they get, but I was very disappointed.

What about the rest of the state?. Why can’t we have an ILLINOIS road conditions page, not just 1/6th of the state’s still images? You do know there’s more to Illinois, right?

Don’t waste your money. This app doesn’t do anything it’s just a money grab and scam
