Obnoxious Ads. As a new Taylor County resident, I was hoping to find a news app to keep me up to date here in my new community. What I get with this app is loud, obnoxious ads, most with no way to silence them other than closing the app. Not sure how others are able to overlook this anti-feature - deleting this wholly insufferable app today in favor of KTXS 12abc News.

Extra large print. Nothing works.. What is problem with extra large print? It’s horrible. Fix it please

Live Stream. I am not able to live stream KTAB local programming any more. I like to watch KTAB 4U and KTAB News @ 5. My streaming app gives me Dallas local programming.

Great working app. Love the local news just wish they updated over the weekend and covered a little more often on Eastland County. Good job otherwise

Much improved, but.... Layout, content and functionality of this latest version represent a vast improvement over earlier versions. Spelling and grammar still need work. Postings occasionally appear rushed or sloppy.

Not user friendly. Last update really messed up app. Doesn’t transition from one story to another. Links on bottom of story to you to top of page instead to different story. It’s so bad I’m about ready to delete app.

Facts. You cannot trust this so called news station!! I have caught them in lies after lies!!! Sick of them NOT telling the truth. Will you take them out of the App Store they are NOT A RELIABLE NEWS SOURCE !

Mobile website please!. If yall would make a mobile website it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want an app just so I can check on closings/delays.

Current. The updates are great -good to know what is going on around us.

Just a little extra editing. I like the content and the up-to-date notifications. My only complaint is the lack of proofreading and editing of the articles. Don't be in such a hurry to get the articles out that you don't take time to do that extra, but very important step! It tends to distract from the newsworthiness of the piece. There are seriously many of us readers who are educators, top-notch paper writers who edit articles, emails, papers, projects, presentations, etc. on a daily basis. I can't speak for everyone, but I would be glad to help for little to nothing. Thank you for getting out there to bring us the news you know we are waiting to hear! We appreciate you!

Curious. Are the stories only updated Monday-Friday? They seem to never change over the weekend.

New update. The new update is terrible. Hard to navigate, I miss the old radar. I will be deleting this app, sadly.

Great news. I could not do without this app

Bad update. Since the new update, I no longer use this app. I hope they fix it soon. It used to be my primary source for local news but I can't figure out how to get past on article. Now I use KTXS for my local news.

Hunt and peck. While attempting to provide information, I find this website to be packed with so much stuff that the site is slow or, in most cases you can’t find what you are looking for. I give up a lot of the time and just use other, user friendly, sites.

Just crashes now. Not sure what was done or if the iOS update is no longer compatible but the app just crashes when trying to read news items.

Update Horrible. This new update is horrible. I can't even open the app without it closing. Please fix this. This app is one of my essentials to see what's going on in our area. Thank you.

Good but not great. What is there is usually informative, but a lot is missing. Coverage of the Hanley fire was abysmal. But sometimes there are things the other news outlets don’t have at all, such as the big oil theft at Nolan last year.

Good news, Sensitive ads. The news is accurate and provided in a timely manner. Unfortunately, if you so much as sneeze in the general direction of and ad you can be sure you’ll be whisked away to a pointless advertisement page.

Bad Upgrade. Upgrade does not work. Will not open!

Update. I updated and now this app. Won't open up. Please fix the app. Thank you.

Big country homepage. It’s not opening and I can’t delete it either!

Update frequency.. This news application works well, but the news provider needs to update the news feed more often. I'm tired of seeing articles as the "top story" that happened days ago. I am also wondering if anyone reviews the posted articles. I have seen numerous grammatical errors.

Latest update. "Minor bug fixes". That's a joke!! Now I can't even open the ap. Do y'all not test these before you tell everyone it's fixed??!!

Big Country News!. I love the Big Country Home Page App I count on it for all the news and weather changes. I trust this group to bring accurate weather and news at a moments notice and at my fingertips on my time!

Like KTAB. I have always loved KTAB News.

Videos don’t work. Ever since the update, the videos don’t work any more. They become “snowy” like old black & white TV’s of the past with the message “a playback error has occurred.” This needs to be fixed.

Bugs not fixed. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and still having issues with this app recently. Large font, weather tab shows large font and temperature is same as percentage of rain? Love the app. Always have! But it has become unreliable

Latest Update Cluttered & Dark. I appreciate the work y'all are doing to put our local news/weather into a handy app but...jamming the front page with every available section, painting the whole thing black, requiring multiple clicks to get to a story and not including a settings button where a user can modify the appearance is not, in my opinion, an improvement.

Not a fan of the new update. I really like ktab news but this new big country app is not working for me. Would rather use the previous version cause it would go straight to the local news. The new home screen just seems cluttered and thrown together. It's just confusing trying to maneuver around the new version. I will still tune into the broadcasts but I have since deleted this app off my phone and now get my local news from a different source while browsing.

BCHP. The very recent, latest version is a huge improvement and is much more thought out & useful. There are still small errors such as spelling and in some details, such as referring to Winters Freeway as "the interstate"

Ad. At least let the app open before you advertise to me.

Please take the time to proofread!. Although I appreciate being able to know Abilene happenings when I am away, I am often frustrated by the lack of attentive proofreading. Example: The news story dated today (8/28/17) concerning the Salvation Army which needed the following supplies: No supplies were listed after the colon in the sentence.
