Gorgeous art & a terrific app!. Notes specific to this deck at the bottom. General review: I have three Fool's Dog apps that I've used daily for over six months now, including this one. They're heavily feature packed and always gorgeous--the detail & clarity even on my non-retina iPad Mini is astounding. They've been rock solid reliable without a single crash, and I honestly can't think of too many other apps I can say that about! About the decks: This app contains BOTH the Druid Plant and Druid Animal Oracle decks. You can choose to use either deck individually, or both combined. One other thing to know about this app--the Druid Plant Oracle paper deck, as of this writing, is out of print and people are asking crazy prices for it on the secondary market. This app is the better way to go anyway--here the large size of the "cards" is much less awkward to handle than the paper version, and the images are stunning.

More knowledge than I expected. Extremely surprised and pleased at how much Druid background history there is for each card; it's symbolic history, use of herbs history, and sharing of what we know of Druids. Beautiful and pleasant images that make sense, not too dark or cultish, just well rounded and inspiring. My world knowledge has been expanded <3

Made a believer out of me. I used to have serious doubts about tarot/oracle deck apps. I doubted they could work without having the cards in hand, but this app, and the DruidCraft Tarot app, has been every bit as incredible as physical cards. Every reading has been dead-on, and every card of the day has been related to the things going on in my life. Mind blown!

It works. It is such a great tool to have a tarot deck on your fingertips. You have to personalize it first meaning you have to make it your own by interacting with it just like a real tarot deck. With time the answers will be increasingly accurate

Indepth Book + Awesome Tarot. I love the template that Fool's Dog uses for all their tarot apps. This one is special because the book that accompanies it goes into nice detail about the history, mundane, and magical folklore of the plants and animals. It's like getting a reference book along with a beautiful tarot deck. The illustrations are gorgeous and nicely described.

Beautiful cards for nature lovers. These Oracle cards are such a joy! As an artist, I really appreciate the beauty of the images. Both the animal deck and the plant deck are included, so the app is a great deal. I’ve always loved plants and animals; using these cards, I feel like I’m among friends. It’s easy to start the day with a reading on the iPhone, and check in any time for further understanding. Readings are saved to the Journal, and are convenient to go back to. I look forward to exploring the more intricate spreads as my understanding grows. All in all, I’m very impressed!

Love this app!. I love having the access to this deck wherever I go. Great for parents with little ones, that don't always get the chance to use their decks because of fear that they may be shredded or torn by little toddlers! The meanings and illustrations are spot on!

Very nice, but journal stopped working. I love the look of these cards, and the information is positive and certainly thought provoking. I gave a review of these cards a while back giving it 5 stars, but the journal functionality just up and started to not work. (I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled twice) When you select journal from the front page, the app closes. I’ve written the developers, but there has not been any response to help. It changes how I use the cards. If you like to randomly do a reading or pick a daily card without ever looking back or sharing your reading with someone or want to look for patterns or the pig picture over time, then these cards would be a brilliant find for you. I still love this app, but I, for one, find the journal to be essential. 😐

Beautiful Cards. This is one of the most beautiful oracle decks I've ever bought. The intricate plant and animal drawings, explanations and history are fascinating. The deck also has features to customize the feel and look of readings which is a nice touch.

A variety of options allows users to decide how they want to work with the cards and lay them out. You can choose to use plant, animal or both decks, reversed, custom layouts, and more. Beautiful. The cards are gorgeous, as is true of any project Will Worthington is involved in. The information given to support the card meanings is in-depth and interesting. As with other oracles produced by Fool's Dog, the app works perfectly, and is full of useful features. I especially appreciate the "user card meanings" feature. This deck makes a perfect companion for the Wildwood Tarot.

Through traditional Druid knowledge, comes practical and nurturing advice from the natural realms, our plant and animal guides are available to us here with detailed insight. Accurate. I love this app!!!~ One of the reasons I purchased an Ipad!! ;) Although I enjoy using the actual physical cards themselves...I find this technical 'version' to be Very accurate~even for daily readings and one card draws!!! Both versions are recommended!! I also love the Celtic name provided for each card, the different types of readings available and the use of the journal and record keeping options!!! I am unable to share the readings in email though aside from social networks and wish that feature was updated~ over all~~~LOVE IT!!! :) /|\

Awesome cards, amazing app. The Druid Animal Oracle is by far the best animal oracle ever created, and the Plant Oracle is reputed to be as powerful. Now you can have the full content of both oracles and their books, the diverse spreads from both books, and full and abbreviated interpretations - for both the card alone, AND for the card in the specific position in a spread - in an app. And there's more. Just wait till the first time you decide to share your reading with someone via email. I'm going to use that as my way of saving readings...it's gorgeous and comprehensive. Really, you've gotta run to the app store and get a copy!

Tapped in!. This is just one of those mystical apps that seems to have a connection to something uncanny. Every time I use it I feel like I got a message I needed.

Great app. I have the app and the physical cards for both oracle decks and the Druid tarot. The Druid tarot app has the most vivid and detailed pictures of the cards, better than my actual cards. However, in the oracle version of the app the card images are not as detailed. That is the only reason it is not five stars.

The best info I've found on authentic Druidry!. Based on oral traditions of ant and animal lore, with extraordinary art! Highly recommended as a tool... I have physical deck of Animal cards as well; wish I could find the out-of-print Plant deck. The app works great!

Worth the $, totally useful. I use this deck everyday. What's cool about this app is that it includes the Plant Oracle too and you can't even buy that on for less than $100. The history and wisdom of this deck is much more than I thought it would be. I bought the physical deck of the animal oracle because I liked this app so much but the book it came with is actually not as thorough as the book/descriptions in this app.

Great. Love the functionality and the cards. UI could use an update but it still works fine. My biggest gripe is when you export an image of the spreads with the built in saving feature the pic is extremely low res. Was hoping it would save something better and more zoomable than a screen shot but oh well. All in all, great for the price.

Reliable app, beautiful images. Dense with information and visually a real treat - an excellent rendering of tarot cards for your phone. The app doesn't seem to have any glitches, and there are customizable features, a built-in journal, and the details on the cards and how to use the app are very thorough. Worth every penny - and then some!

Discrimination against the blind, horrible business ethics. I paid for thisApp because I had all the print cards and books as well as the DruidcraftTarot app. I am legally blind and although I enjoy having the print cards, the books are hard for me to read. It was quite helpful to have the DruidcraftTarot as an app because I could have my phone easily read the descriptions to me. Therefore I was led to believe that this was an honorable company that would not discriminate for no good reason and take advantage of customers. I have been the best customer this company could possibly imagine, pretty much buying everything and paying extra to have the material digitally. Now this app has blocked all possibilities of text to speech, and it will not allow my phone or any other device to read it aloud. This is clear and obvious discrimination against people with vision and text related disabilities. It is unconscionable and inexcusable. I want a refund and I want the company to change their policies even if I do get a refund. I am a single mother of very modest means and this is one of the few luxuries or pleasures I can't afford. I hope other users will pay attention and demand this company stop discriminating against vulnerable people. There is no reason to lock out the possibility of a phone reading text put loud to a blind user, Or anyone else Who maybe just wants to go jogging well they listen to a computerized voice, for that matter.

Have loved these decks and books, now I love the app too.. I was a little worried at first, pulling off a reading with the same feel as using the actual hard copy, but I am happy to say, this app does it, in fact, it makes it easier. This is my go to when I need a little glimpse, or reassurance that I am headed in the right direction, and I appreciate the flexibility I have in user meanings, and journal entries.

The depth and information on the actual cards is amazing and I also love the artwork. There are many different pre-set spreads available, or you can create your own. An essential tool for any poet or writer.. As a poet & storyteller, I have found this deck to be sublime. It's insight into pre-colonial pagan mythology has provided my writing with a new depth, new directions to explore & insights that I previously never knew existed. The information gathered here has an intertextual mastery that speaks with clarity & certainty, folding folklore, legend, ancient Drudic tradition, symbology & notable literary tropes over & into themselves with a rolling lilt that encourages active investigation. From a self-help perspective (presuming that the purpose of this deck is divination of the identity, or acts as an application that helps the self understand the situation of the self through archetypal symbology) this deck has an uncanny synchronicity. It's written with such deft skill that the oracle aspect of the title is achieved with aplomb. If you are an individual who would muster an argument against, please - don't bother. This is a deck for those who allow themselves to have faith in the fact that an articulated investigation of how the past perceived their symbols can still assist us today - & my word this deck does that. It's a pricey app, I know...but it's honestly worth it if this is your kinda thing. I use this app often : not just to inspire my writing, but to calm & quell those anxious moments of indecision & uncertainty. Druid Oracle. I LOVE this oracle! The illustrations are beautiful. The deck is well organized with clear descriptions of the different spreads and layouts, a journal to record readings and options for sharing. The oracle accurately reflects the concerns and provides answers to questions with the option for more in depth interpretations in the book. I consult it daily!

Gratitude <3. In a world of "low hanging fruit" centric developers, this is truly a gem! The flexibility of this oracle card app is just plain and simply elegant. Beautifully illustrated, easy to use and full of ways to engage the cards and the extended meanings - including the historical information, makes this deck a must have for any oracle card user. The UI can use a little polish, but that is quite minor to what you actually receive in this app. Being also humbly priced (almost half the price of decks that sport less content and or flexibility), this wonderful oracle deserves all the prays it has rightfully earned in my books. Bravo!

Dazzling. I made the purchase due to all the positive feedback and I was still blown away by the value here. The settings are very detailed - you can choose to use one oracle or both, reversed cards, significator, etc. The journal can be accessed from every card in the reading and it saves a record of every reading automatically. Really, it doubles as a very good reading journal. Impressive!

Fantastic!. I am one of those that has never put much stock into digital divination; however, given those involved with the creation of the original Oracles, I was excited to give it a go... Once again, as with anything that OBOD and/or Philip and Stephanie produce, the genuine desire to create a tool that is thoughtful, intuitive, and useful is abundantly present in the Druid Oracle app. Easy to use and hard to put down, I found myself losing time as I peered at the Bill Worthington's beautifully detailed artwork now even more alive because of the backlighting of the iPad screen. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of times I thought of a feature I would like only to find that it was already an option, such as drawing extra cards during a spread when further clarification is needed, having multiple options for randomizing the deck before drawing or allowing one to use their own picture as the spread cloth. These and other small but meaningful details, often overlooked in other “oracle” apps made by those looking to make impulse sales, are a testament to the time and attention that The Fool's Dog development team put into creating this amazingly intuitive and visually stunning tool. Probably my favorite aspect of the Oracle is the journal feature. The journal records your spreads visually and includes card summaries that make note of the card orientation. I was surprised, again, when I tapped one of the cards in the visual record and found that the app returned to the full size spread allowing me to access the full card views and texts as I did when the reading was first done. Superior quality, intuitive controls and ease of use are all things that define a great app. Combining those attributes with the already amazing Druid Oracles was a fantastic decision, in my opinion. Many thanks to all involved!

Great Oracle App. I have been using a few of the Fool's Dog apps and they all have great functionality to them. This one seems to be just a bit of the magic to it. Detailed review. Earlier today I checked the post on Phillip Carr-Gomm's blog and read that they had turned my favorite divination decks into an iPad app. I tend to be quite puritanical when it comes to spiritual workings- I've been grinding my herbs and resins in a mortar and pestle for the last twenty three years, and I'll continue doing just that for the next twenty-three. - so, you can imagine my skepticism upon seeing it's app, despite it's originators. Now, let me clarify my skepticism, it's not a matter of if technology is magical. Technology, like everything else, is merely a tool that we use to focus our ideas and will to create specific results. Some of these results just happen to come ready to click, watch or listen to. Listening to music on an iPad or CD makes it no less magical than a live performance. It's the energy evoked when you see a band play live that makes the experience so rewarding; the same is true in a tarot reading or divination of any kind. Not to mention many more experiences. So, I think that what I'm trying to say here is, like any tool, if you put in the energy it will work. However, the mystical, tangible qualities that come from imprinting your deck, placing the cards, casting runes, of course is lacking. Granted, there is the feature to shuffle your deck using the 'Riffle', 'Wash', and 'Cut' features. You can do this as many times as you like before the reading is given. You can also skip this step all together and you have the ability to pull an extra card at the end to further clarify the reading. I found both of these features to be highly useful and the tangible nature of the cards during the reading was highly appealing. Cards are placed by tapping and you have a wide variety of layouts to choose from depending on the nature of your question. The cards are announced and the meaning of the cards placement within the lay out are concisely laid out for you to aid in interpreting the reading. When it gives you the meaning of the card it gives you a short-hand version first, but you can open the expanded entry on the card for the full meaning, lore and other information - just like the books that accompany the physical decks. As far as features go, you can access the complete booklet for each set of cards, discover your card of the day, perform readings, customize the decks used, perform readings using several different lay outs, which are explained/featured in both of the decks accompanying books, give feedback on the app and keep a journal of your readings and card pulls. Journal entries are logged automatically and you can create comments to accompany the readings. You can also add additional comments and continue to view the reading as a whole with the cards in their lay-out with the cards positions and meanings clearly laid out for quick reference. To top it all off you can share your readings and there's a search feature for your journal as well. All in all, mechanically and for ease of use this app is top-notch. Now, for the practical exam. I performed a reading using the app moments after downloading it. Operation was quick, smooth and fun. The shuffle feature was quite interesting and I noticed it evoked the same intuitive feelings I get when shuffling my physical deck. I should note here that I use the Druid Plant Oracle (which it has recently come to my attention is out of print. I don't know when it went out of print because I live under a rock. Back to topic though! So, the reading came out with very positive and seemingly fitting cards. It looked wonderful, just like a reading that I might do - I mean wonderful as in, the cards all seemed to fit in their places and were in line with past readings on the same subject, just a different facet. Being as I like to have a way of backing up the validity and effects of my spiritual workings I pulled out my physical deck and did a short, four-card reading to check the results of the first reading. The cards pulled reflected the essence of the reading on the app in whole and expounded upon the meaning of it as it would when I perform follow up readings. In short. I had an extremely positive experience with this app and find it to be as accurate as the readings I perform with my physical deck and while you lack the physical touch of the cards it replicates the experience with surprising accuracy; presenting these wonderful decks in an inexpensive, portable and worthwhile tool for technological divination anytime, anywhere with accurate record keeping of readings for reference. (It looks a hundred times better than my hand recorded divination book!) I've been able to find no downsides to this app save the lack of the actual full physical experience which is to be expected and not something I consider to be a drawback in any way. This app, in my opinion, is suitable for all ages and all stages of spiritual development from the novice to the life-long practitioner.

I love this deck. I was unsure at first if this deck was for me but it quickly became my go to deck. I am grateful for the reverse reading prompts. The spreads are pretty neat as well.

Amazing!. I also have the physical Druid Animal Oracle deck an find the digital version to also be very accurate. I also like the ease of seeing card interpretations and journaling in the app itself.

Nice app, beautiful cards. This app has a lot of features, if you're looking for a tarot deck app, I have nothing but good things to say about this one. The cards are different from a "standard" deck, so keep that in mind, but if you enjoy Celtic/Druid lore, this one is good. The artwork is gorgeous. I've just ordered the physical Animal deck on Amazon because I like this app so much and want to play around with some physical cards.

Incredible. This is the deck I have been waiting for. Or decks rather, as it is a combination of 2, one of which is out of print. I love that they give not only meanings, but history, myths, and the actual science behind each animal and plant. It's worth it just for the wonderful artwork and education you get, to say nothing of the rich language of meanings that allow for some shockingly accurate dialogs you will ever have with your unconscious mind/Source. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Wonderful!!!. I have these as physical decks, but like all of The Fool's Dogs apps, this is so easy to use that I don't bother getting them out anymore. My only wish is that they'd eliminated the white borders on the cards.
