Stopped working. This app was very good until my iPhone couldn’t activate touch screen anymore. I forgot my password and typed th wrong one so as to get email. I have tried that several times and it keeps saying an email was sent to me but I never get an email

Latest release. Loved the app for three years, then the developer went with a pro version charged my account, then cancelled his website. This version crashes whenever I select a card. Wish the developer would grow up and take responsibility. Apple should remove his products so no one else is fooled into paying.

Update causes constant crash. The app just updated recently and is now useless. I have used this app for a long time, and since the update, it crashes everytime I try to open card information. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app 3 times with the same results. Why do developers have to mess with a product that was working fine?

No need to bring your wallet all the time. Since I have installed this app I don't have to carry my wallet all the time. When I need to purchase something online I can simply open it and see all credentials needed for transaction. Simple and very useful.

Version 3.4.5 crashes. Since app support takes you to a nonexistent page, I am writing a review. I have the paid pro version that was updated a few days ago and it crashes when trying to select one of the cards in my collection. Even though I have three pro version the icon on the phone shows lite after latest update. I use the app regularly so am frustrated with the lack of stability. Please fix

Card mate what happened. I loved Card Mate. Are use it often. Recently p.m. to change the application, by charging for its services. And there is no option to update it from what I can see through the app. This culminated in my reading of this application to drop from a five to a three. Get your act together guys.

Is this app still supported?. I love this app and have been using it for several years, but with the last update there are some functions that are no longer working. I tried to contact support but the support site no longer exists. I really want to keep using this app but if there is no support I will have to find another app. Please let me know if this app is still supported. If so I change my rating to 5+ stars.

App. Great app. helps you keep track of all the info you need and keeps your wallet light. You can also setup reminders for when all your cards expire. 👍👍

Card scan. Does not take pics every time—frustrating

Was Perfect. Prior to Version 3.4.5 this App did exactly what it was advertised to do. Previously, the App would present the front and back of membership cards and re-orient to landscape for readable card presentation. V 3.4.5 now takes several attempts to open and landscape view is no longer available. It seems to magnify, but it is a useless function. It is now a disappointment. If it is not fixed soon, I will attempt to find a replacement App.

Security. Love the application and use it for storing my cards. My main concern is security with an application like this. I feel it is secure thus the reason I'm using it but I also like to see constant improvements in this area.

Currently has a problem. I hope somebody who can do something about it reads this. The link to app support does not work. I have been using Card Mate for a couple of years and it has been great but on this current version whenever I select a card the app shuts down. I have many “loyalty cards” and I need to select “card image” And then view the backside in order to scan the barcode. Been working great for a couple of years, now all of a sudden I cannot use my cards. One star for today, five stars when they get that fixed

What happened?. Forever I could copy and paste card info into websites to pay for items. Now the site crashes—just goes away when you click on a card. I just wasted $2.99 for the pro version with no change. Will be finding another card wallet app.

Removed from app after tapping on my card. I have uploaded my cards successfully. When I tap on a card, I am completely removed from the app. It’s only when I tap edit is when I am not removed from the app. If it wasn’t for this problem, I would give them 5 stars!!

This app is broken. I used to use this app quite frequently, but now it crashes every time I try to view a card. And App Support is no longer in existence I guess cause when I tried to go there I got the screen of death and was told the domain is no longer active..that was with Brave, I’ll try another portal

Only one of its kind. This is the only app I have found so far that enables me to not only carry loyalty cards but also credit cards in the secure locked matter. For that i love this app and this worked fine no problems and very secure

Keeps crashing when trying to view/open a card. This was a great app when it worked. Now it needs fixed. Every time I go to view a card to show it the app crashes and goes totally out to phones Home Screen.

Does not scan automatically with my Costco CRedit Card!!!. Card mate should update this because some cards just does not seem to scan automatically. They need to fix this. Add another option to take a picture of the card. It's very frustrating to be a first time user.

Mostly Great. I’ve had this app for 5 minutes and am impressed, except for one thing. Many credit cards no longer have the card number on the front, and it only wants to scan when you choose the credit card option when setting up. It will not find a number and thus, does not scan a picture. Therefore, there was no front image. I opted to use “normal card” so that I could have a front image.

No issues but instruction are lacking. I am not having similar issues with image capture that others are reporting. At this point my only caveat is the difference between the free and paid version. The free version requests additional "coins" for addition cards. Does the paid have the same?

At my fingertips. Love how easy this app is to use... Since I do the majority of my shopping online, it's nice to have an image of my cards, both front and back, so easily at my fingertips... I no longer have to bring my wallet with me everywhere I go, which is a great relief.

Great App. I have been using this app for over three years. Very easy to keep track of cards you don’t need everyday and don’t need to carry in your wallet. The only issue I have is that I was not able to download my cards to my new phone when my old phone was stolen. I see the information online but can’t seem to download it to my phone. Can anyone help?

Was working grea. No recently when you click on a card it shuts down the app and moves it to the background. Basically it crashes if you’re try to go past the initial screen. I don’t know why the developer wanted to break his app. I see a version for sale now and if $$$ was the reason I will buy something that doesn’t crash or stop working as a method to force you to buy the same thing. I would rather put up with timers or some functions disabled or even ads rather then crashes. It makes me think the paid version will also crash. Messed up a fine app.

Good App Gone BAD. When this app was released it worked very well. Then one day it updated and the name changed to “lite”.... now it crashes and I can not look at my cards on file. At this point I’m deleting them all and this app. I guess when you’re a developer and change things it takes away what is good to make money for the new app “card mate pro” 😒😠 sooo irritating

Lightens my wallet. April 2021 update - was fixed for a bit, but just updated to an iPhone 12 on iOS 14.4.2 and now it crashes immediately on launch. Please fix - I really rely on this great app all the time. Love this app - simple, lightweight, does just what I need it to. Now I don't have to carry around all these cards and can have them with me all the time. Minimalism ftw. Also, the developer is very responsive and open to ideas for improvements. Bravo all the way around.

Useful App and protip to users..... I love this app. To get it to work for new cards that have the number on the back, simple take a photo of the front of card in the back image spot and then hit the button to switch the back image to the front image spot. The back image spot allows you to manually snap the photo.

Excellent Card App. This is a great app to have all your cards on your phone. You can access the card numbers when purchasing something online and it saves time from going to get your wallet every time. Thank you :)

Was a good app. The app used to be great. I put my cards in and was able to access them easily when I needed to or was too lazy to get my wallet. It presented the front and back of the cards which was great for online purchases. With the most recent update and the addition of a new paid version this app has become less that decent. Sometimes it has trouble loading and when it does load it crashes every single time I try to tap on a card to view the back. Almost seems like the developers have done this intentionally to drive people towards their new paid version...

So far so good, but needs improvements. So far this app is serving my purpose for a few random cards that I don't want to carry, but there are some improvements I'd love to see. 1) more directions, especially re: credits, 2) higher level password options, 3) swiping to flip card doesn't always work, especially back to front, 4) video tour doesn't load and a "forbidden message pops up.

Works fairly well, but not a do-everything-under-the-sun. I had problems with the free version, but it worked well enough as a rudimentary repository of credit cards and IDs. I was pleased to see that many of the issues disappeared with the paid (still cheap!) version. The fact that I can organize my cards, fill in the standard fields (some automatic, some manual) and add supplemental data, along with the image, makes this way better than just having simple snapshots. It’s not Wallet, so I can’t actually use the cards that way, but I can and do store every conceivable type of card, create categories for them, and retrieve them at a moment’s notice. I believe this app will be a good investment of your time to deploy.

Card holder. This app is very good. I have had several prior to this one. This is the best. Takes a minute to learn but not hard.

pop up ads are soft core porn. Update June 13, 2019 I forgot I had tried this app a while back. Until I downloaded it and checked “review the app”. My review turned up. It was a while back so I thought I’d look again. It won’t even let me enter my email for the password backup. Looks like I’m deleting again. Also, the first review that shows up is angry that it doesn’t work with Apple Watch and Apple Pay. Nothing in the description says it’s payment app. It’s simply a place to store your card info in case you need it and you don’t have the card with you. Storage only. People are funny 😄 still a worthless app. Too bad because I like the idea. First review so I have owned this for about 1min. I like the ease to enter in a card. (I have only done one). Here’s the thing. LOTS of adds across the bottom. I can ignore those, HOWEVER, A FULL SCREEN AD of a nearly naked woman. Do they do this to offend so I buy the paid version to get rid of the soft core porn or do I delete the app since they are subjecting me to this unwanted nudity.

Was good but.... This app was perfect and worked for what I needed. Now the developer has rebranded my app to the “lite” version and it’s broken to where it keeps crashing! Now I have to pay to get the same thing I had? Tried contacting developer to get the crashing issues fixed but link and website are broken! Sigh...

Crashes 99% of the time. Last Update: just tried all this again, and it DID NOT work the 2nd time. Guess I was getting the 1% for a brief moment. Update to the Update: Once you go thru search and pull up the card, the app works normally, until you close it. Update: found a workaround! If you goto search, type 1st number of card, the card show up. Then you click view card and it shows the info you need. Open app, touch pic of card, App crashes. Repeat! Think... hmmm. Update app? No update. Think... close all other apps. Nope. Worked fine for years. Now can’t use it. iPhone 12 Pro issue? Just fix it.

Doesn’t work with Apple Watch. I’ve been looking everywhere for an app like this that syncs with my Apple Watch. I use Apple Pay on my watch everywhere I go and I wanted to be able to use my watch in this manner for my other cards as well. It doesn’t list all of the cards on my watch, only half of a photo of just one of my cards, and when you click on it, it opens up a random card. Doesn’t work at all, very disappointed. Hopefully this will be fixed. Once it works on my watch like advertised, I’ll update my review

Finally a good wallet app👏👍. I just downloaded and seems to be the best Wallet app yet I've downloaded I have probably downloaded a dozen but they where just ridiculous Very smart the way they let you gain points For helping promote the app

Semi-useful. So I got this app for the primary fiction of being able to add cards to my wallet (passbook) app. I figured it would also be a very good way to securely back up my card data. Turns out that the passbook function once clicked does nothing and the lack of direction and help provided in this app is astounding. I'm keeping this app for the back up idea but I don't suggest it for anything else. Don't bother upgrading to a pro version

Crashes since update😡. Worked great for several years and since last update it crashes when I try to look at the back of the card. I had even upgraded to premium sometime ago and now they want me to pay for upgrade again. No customer support! Did they take their winnings and fold or are they feverishly working to fix it?😡

Version 3.4.5 crashing. I’ve been happy with this app for years but the latest update causes it to crash as soon as you try to view a card. I hope a fix can be released soon.

App crash. For somw reason the “light” version keep on crashing when trying to open a card. Before the app was awesome. Wish it would accept more cards though!

Very useful app. This app does exactly what it is intended to do. It keeps a card on my phone I have several cards on it and use them in an emergency or say when I’m ordering on line and need card numbers. It’s a nice place to keep a license. Bug. I have been using this program for quite some time but I recently found a serious bug. When trying to view any cards detail by tapping the photographed card the app fails and shuts down. I am using an iPhone 7 running iOS 14.2

App crashes. The app opens, shows the front of your stored cards then you have to tap on the card to retrieve further details or notes. Once you do this it immediately crashes. It never did this until a few months ago and I’ve emailed support through the app only to have my email returned to me as undelivered!! So NO support obviously exists! I’m sure developer has set this up purposefully so you have to pay to upgrade to pro! Do not recommend this app!

Support apple wallet, but how?. Would be happy to buy pro if only it would allow me to push my bank cards to apple wallet. It says support apple wallet but I can't find any way to do so.

Does not work with latest IOS version. Very frustrating as use this app all the time but since upgrading to latest IOS VERSION app will open but as soon as you tap the card to see/scan the reverse it just drops out.

Camera is good, rest is not much use. This app is good at capturing images but there is no OCR, data has to be entered manually , does not scan bar codes, ads are a nuisance and it you can only store a few cards before it asks you to pay to upgrade. Don't waste your time and money on this app

Not worth it. I paid for the Pro version. On the iPhone cannot create favourites. On the Apple Watch 3, only the first card in the list appears. Dodgy.

Who needs a wallet?. I've felt much lighter since installing this app, plus it's so easy to scan barcodes straight from my phone!

Not What I Paid For. Purchased the Pro version & it worked reasonably well. With the latest update I’ve been put back to Lite. Whenever I try to view a card the app closes. Emails to support come back as undeliverable & the website is offline. Until these issues are sorted, I’d steer well clear.

Was really good now crashes. Same as other reviews this used to be great now if I try and view any cards it crashes - tried emailing support and email doesn’t get through!! If not fixed soon I will ditch this and look elsewhere

Works only if online. I got the free version, fair product and does what it is supposed to do ... If you have an active internet connection. If the phone is offline the app does not open which is pretty annoying.

Adequate if you only have 6 cards.... I don't know who writes these reviews and fail to tell you the obvious limitations - the biggest being you can only save 6 cards total before you have to buy the Pro version. NOWHERE I COULD FIND does the info describing this App tell you that. Nearly all of the reviews talk about the NUMEROUS cards they have saved. BS! Not with the free App! Regardless, it does what it says, fairly well. Guess I'll fork over the $3.99 to buy the Pro App.

Terrible App. There is no support for this app. I have had the app crash on many occasions with no access to my information. I would not recommend this app.

Ne pas acheter : Beaucoup d’amélioration à faire. Ne fonctionne tout simplement plus Peu de cartes avec version light. Souvent des problèmes pas de reconnaissance faciale.

Crap. Downloaded it, tried it and immediately deleted it. Only works if it had your desired retailers in its roster and doesn't add ones that it doesn't. Doesn't have popular Canadian retailers in it.

Waste of time. What a crock of $h1t. I deleted it after about two minute. First thing it did was open a website with one of those bs articles the hypes something up for seventy or eighty paragraphs before trying to sell you some baloney. Then you’re supposed to upgrade the app right away if you want to store anything on it.

Great app for travelers. I use this app to store credit card and passeports for a backup when travelling. Very useful!

Complete garbage. The app is Sime to use but it constantly crashes when trying to view cards. Soooo frustrating.

Misleading and no support!. Nowhere in the specs does it say the app needs to be connected to the Internet to work. When not connected the the Internet the app crashes. Numerous emails to their support website go unanswered. Don't waste your money!

Was great. Been using this app for quite a while, it was good, but now I can’t tap a card and expand the image? It locks me out? Tried to cantact support and Mail says it can’t find server? Looks like I’m getting a different app now. Don’t recommend this one anymore!

Crash and Burn. This app is now impossible to use. Since the update, it crashed in iOS 13 and iOS 14. As soon as one tries to open a stored card, the app crashes, rendering it worthless.

Needs Work. It crashes too much on my iPhone. Having said that I still use it. I’m too lazy to find an alternative. I just find ways to get around its flaws. I certainly wouldn’t buy the pay version in its current state.

Crashing. Same problem as everyone else. This app is useless now. It closes when you try to click on a card.

Used to work!!. Used to work just fine. Now after attempting to access my cards three times I gave up. The app shuts down when you click on any card. Please don’t waste your money on the Pro version and this one isn’t worth downloading either.

Ease of entry. The recognition coding is limited especially when snap shots for reverse side. No OCR functionality yet. Hopefully in next update.

Meh. Crashes too much. Idk. Maybe they just want me to upgrade, but the app crashes all the time. It’s been adequate, but now I’m doubtful!

Great idea. Too bad it doesn’t work. Wouldn’t scan my cards, and when it did wouldn’t scan both sides. Will be deleting.

VB. I’ve been using card mate for several years now and love it, but the last update caused a glitch and closes the app everyone you try to view or edit the card.

Force Closes. Every time I try to view a card I have on the app it shuts down. Never had an issue until the most recent update.

Worked well for three years and now keeps crashing. it keeps crashing and nothing I Have tried has worked. I’m searching for a new app to replace it.

Don’t forget you password patten. I have had this app for years. Have not used Ed it for awhile. I forget the patten used. I’m now locked out with no way to retrieve data. Nice going. So I deleted the app and restarted. Enter new password and it tells me server now available. Then ask we to continue without password backup. REALLY

Great App. Great app that allows you to have all of you debit/credit cards in one place electronically.

Not working with the latest update. The lite and pro app closes when you click on the card.

Dot-lock does not work any more. All of the sudden, dot-lock does not work and I can’t reach the developer to reset or get my card info back.

Used to be great. Was a perfect app to keep your card numbers near for online shopping instead of chasing your wallet. After the newest update the app crashes when clicking on a card so it’s worthless...

Doesn’t work anymore??!. Like others on here—I bought the paid version—then one day and it updates and my app says it’s the free version and it crashes whenever I attempt to look at a card. Was a good app, now rendered useless.

Very Useful. Great app, wish it had more card options to choose from though.

Wallet App. Just what I needed to store all of my cards.

App Drops. This App worked great until ios14. It now opens, displays cards but when you select one to see details it instantly shuts down back to iPhone Home Screen.

Exactly what all the other users have said. Used to be a great app until recently it crashes whenever I click on one of the saved cards.

Not Ever. Just a total waste of time. Request email and then rejects entries from any provider. Requires access to your photo library for no real reason. Developers should have simply made scanning your card an option. And then there are the bonus points. KISS should have been the construct. Really!!

Not working. I am so mad. After storing all my cards and information on this app for nearly 2 years it just quit working. Every time I go to open it it just clicks off…

Might as well go to pro. Unless you only want to load 6 cards better just pay for pro so you don't have to re enter all of the cards . The app doesn't just update. You have to download the pro, delete the original app and start over. I loaded loyalty cards and then trashed them. Guess I have to reorder.

Doesn't work. As some say it doesn't work tried a my Lowe's and sams card to test doesn't work tried to watch the video said I was forbidden

Glitches. There are glitches in your most recent update with an iPhone 7. When I click on a card In the list the app crashes. Please let me know when it is fixed

Worked great now it’s pointless. This app was great!! The new update changed the convenience of the app. I automatically get logged off when I click on one of my cards. This now becomes a useless app if it is not fixed. Please post any alternatives.

App crashing every single time in iphone 12. This app was awesome when I started using in my iphone 8. I got upgraded to iphone 12 and thats it App crashes every time I try to open the saved card.

Super app, but.... Lots of bugs. Categories still don’t work and login messed up with request for review. Still, I couldn’t live without it.

App Crashing. The app opens and crashes as soon as I click to view a card. Had no issues before so not sure if it’s from an update or caused by iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 14.3. Please fix ASAP.
