Fool's Dog does it again!. A while back I had emailed the developers to see if they would include the Steam Punk tarot deck in their lineup. I had just purchased and been using the physical deck, and LOVED the art and the interpretations of the cards. I was thrilled when I checked back to see if they had it and they did, along with House Wife tarot, which I also have. The developers have written an excellent app and you can tell that it was written by people who actually use tarot. They seem to be on the look out for beautiful and interesting decks. I will always be a fan!

Beautifully Rendered. Bought this on a lark … and was surprised at how easily a person can be drawn into the images! The IPad screen gives these cards a backlit, glowing luminosity that would be difficult to achieve in a print form. Nice interpretation of the traditional Tarot themes in a Steampunk world; for example, the Judgment card uses a gramophone instead of a trumpet. Works for me! It's not all fantasy and fun, though; the meanings given for the cards convey deep spiritual truths. If you need to get some spiritual advice on the run, you can't go wrong with this app.

I love this app!. I have the physical Steampunk Tarot deck and I love it. When I saw there was an app version, I wanted it, too. It’s great to have a copy of the companion book on my phone so I don't have to carry it with me in addition to the cards. And I can do a reading or study the cards on the fly. The app is super easy to use. There is a good variety of it spreads and cloths. While I like some of the cards a little better than others, there are no cards that I don’t like. The cards are fantastic and also good representations of the meanings. The journaling is great for keeping track of your readings and I really like that you can email them. And being able to enter an outside reading is a great feature. I’m new to tarot, but my readings have been insightful and helpful. Having a wider knowledge of tarot in general would help you get a more exact reading, but this deck is RWS based and a great place to start. I liked this app so much I also got the Tarot of Trees and the Zircus Magi apps and will definitely be getting the Tarot of Trees physical deck. I highly recommend any of The Fool’s Dog apps for ease of use and insight.

Lovely. A seamless experience with many pleasing features. Simple to use at default settings while providing many customization options such as the ability to use your own spreads. I love the journal feature and daily card especially well.

Spot On!. I was skeptical at first that the app would be accurate in the readings. A dear friend convinced me that, YES!, the readings are great. So far they've been so spot on, it's as good as having the actual deck in your hands!! Highly recommended.

Excellent deck, best interface around. This is a great deck from an author well versed in tarot. But what is best about this app is the interface. You get multiple reading options (card layouts), multiple ways to access the card meaning, an automatic save feature that ensures you don't lose a reading and best of all, access to the dull text of the deck's accompanying book. Can't say enough good things about this app - get it, you won't regret it even if the steampunk images don't speak to you.

The first deck I had and loved it!. This deck offers great card illustrations that depict well what the cards should mean. The written descriptions are nicely done too.

no longer works. UPDATE: The app no longer works. I updated some of the other apps from the same company, BUT this app now crashes when I tap "Journal" - so it is now down from Five stars to One. Can't use it. --------------- I already had this book and deck, and wouldn't ordinarily pay twice for the same product, but I made an exception for this! Aly Fell's images are so compelling. I buy decks for the art, so this was important to me.

Loved Fools Dog Until.... The journal function no longer works for any of my Fools Dog apps. I have over 10 of your apps, so over 10x the disappointment. Not buying any more of your apps. :-/

Gorgeous Deck!. The images are astounding. I found the readings accurate.

Impressed. I'm massively impressed. I was seriously skeptical. Cards read off of energy... Honestly I didn't think an app could read and feel like an actual tarot deck. But this does in every way. The art is amazing. Each card tells its story. It's all there in the image. If you want the definition, the side by side, image and full definition is available. The journal, keeps track of your readings, and allows you to save your thoughts as well. Seriously suprised. Worth buying!

Great Deck. Use this deck daily and it's pretty neat! The drawings are very well done and the meanings are clear and concise. I would recommend these to anyone starting out with the Tarot.

Awesome!!. I received the Tarot deck as a birthday gift and decided to check out the app. I really love it. It is very easy to use and it's packed with information that I didn't expect. If I'm on the go, it's easy for me to pull card for the day or to do a mini spread, if I don't have my cards handy. I would recommend this app and love the deck too.

The best. Realizing the Tarot does not deal in absolutes, I have to comment that this app is absolutely the best in the field. It’s user-friendly, intuitive, multi dimensional, artistically conceived, and presents a scope of elements lacking in other applications. In short, I love it!

Great deck/app. I've seen this deck for quite a while but never understood what "Steampunk" was all about. Took my chance with The Fool's Dog and was happily surprised! My favorite. This is my favorite of all the fools dog apps and gives powerful readings. All their apps are amazing. I can't even use the competition because these programs blow the others away in terms of accuracy. Love the steampunk.... Now they just need the thoth and golden dawn decks.... I wouldn't mind the deviant moon and hermetic tarot either....

Love these cards!. Have many tarot cards. This is a beautiful deck. This program is really good. Easy to use. Not awkward to use. The depictions on each card are so crisp and clear to see. The interruptions are direct and to the point.

On point readings. I am actually surprised how accurate these readings are. They seem to be reading me and my life. I've been searching for a good deck to read from and these are worth it. Truly do love them

Love Steampunk Tarot. Best horoscope app ever!

Gorgeous Artwork, Compelling Text. I love this deck. It stays true to the traditional Ryder-Waite interpretations, but with a Steampunky humorously cocky attitude. Each card is a work of art, and the descriptions include a quote/saying, interpretation, and thoughtful questions. The deck makes an excellent journaling tool. I have many many Fool's Dog decks because their template is the best!

A friend gifted me the steam punk Tarot deck. I wanted to learn more about reading tarot and looked for an app to my surprise some company had made an app with the steam punk tarot theme. Luckily the writers were more to the point with the card interpretations the book that came with the physical tarot cards went on and on about the people and artwork on the cards and was full of nothing but a Wind bag writer. So thankful to have the app I still love the physical cards they are great for parties and ice breakers the artwork is beautiful and thanks to the creator of the deck. I suggest someone help the creator of the physical deck edit the book for future updates they could add a Victorian flair without being so wordy and sticking with more direct interpretation of the cards. I felt I had to reference other sources to learn about the cards and their meanings and this app was perfect. It also helped me learn different spreads.

Lovely, with just one lack. These cards are really wonderful; imaginative, beautifully drawn, and with the needed pointer to the explanations. Just one thing: I wish these explanations were complete in that they included the meanings when cards are reversed. I know many folks use different layouts without reversed cards, but I like the additional subtlety it can give. So folks, how about adding that minor tweak and having universal five-star reviews? 😊

Love Steampunk. I've been reading tarot decks since 2001. I've been using this app since it came out. I see no difference between a physical deck in hand and this app. Two thumbs up.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this App!. This is app is very easy to use. There are so many useful features. My readings have been very accurate. I love that you can have a shortened reading of the card or you can go and read the full meaning straight from the Steampunk book. The cards are rich in color and detail. Barbara Moore is one of the most educated Tarot readers of our times. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing - love!!!. I am incredibly impressed, but not at all surprised, by this beautiful and easy-to-use app. Everything that Barbara creates is amazing - including this app. I love so many things about it - the gorgeous full color cards, accessibility of meanings, multiple layout designs, cloth choices, the shuffling options (so much fun to watch!), the journal and all of the settings/additional book information. I live this app, like all fools tarot. I really love this apps creativity and content, it focuses on issues maturely with out the heavy worrisome thoughts and ideas that go into certain tarot card, explaining the difficult ones in a new light.

Greatly Insightful. Bought on a whim as previous reviewer did. The Universe must've been at work as many cards show strong "warrior" women & many equine illustrations. This is pretty much what my personal life is. Regardless, very user-friendly & would highly recommend.

Fool's Dog Tarot apps are the best!. I have three Fool's Dog apps that I've used daily for over six months now, including this one, which was my first. They're heavily feature packed and always gorgeous--the detail & clarity even on my non-retina iPad Mini is astounding. They've been rock solid reliable without a single crash, and I honestly can't think of too many other apps I can say that about!

Absolutely Fabulous. I purchased the actual deck and book several months ago. This app has been awesome for learning on the go; as the book that came with the deck is the exact book in the app; it makes it perfect for learning on the go!

Perfectly Magical. Great purchasing this deck instead of buying it in the physical world. It makes jotting down in a journal so much easier and there are so many automatic spreads to choose from. A great bargain and so accurate too. Meanings are expansive or watered down to its core interpretation.

Very well written and thorough. BEST. DECK. EVER. One reviewer, quite ironically, left a wordy review about how the book is "too wordy." Not so. The descriptions are meant to be part of the reading. To show the querant what's going on behind the scenes.

Daily Meditation. I adore this app. I draw a card every morning as part of a meditative exercise and it’s been such a lovely experience. The art and the full breakdown of the the card is so thoughtful it really gives me the chance to reflect and the language to understand how to look inward. And the functionality of the app overall is just great and user friendly.

Excellent!. The app is easy to use and offers useful customization options. Love the illustrations and the option to see more or less info about each card. The journal feature is great, as is the variety of sharing options - the email it sends is beautifully laid out and contains all the relevant information. The shuffling really gives you the feel of analog tarot readings. Super impressive app.

Best deck I have ever read from. I am a reader of cards ... Been for many years. Up until now I've never connected so well with a deck or gotten such dead on readings. Amazing app and deck! If only other tarot apps could do this!. I never leave reviews. I have this physical deck. The artwork is incredible. That is reproduced here perfectly. The app includes the entire book! I am amazed. The auto journal feature is awesome. This tarot app is the best I have paid for and I have bought several. I have gifted it to friends I am so pleased with it.

Favourite. One of my favourite decks; actually was my very first tarot deck. Was glad to see it in a more portable app version, so I don't always have to trudge my beautiful cards around & risk them being ruined. It's funny, because I would've expected to have a different feel with the app, being like they're 2 literally different decks, but it's as if the energy of my physical deck transferred to the app as well! :) Over all, I enjoy the app; the various spreads it offers are quite neat. & the different ways to customize are a nice touch! The app is great, & the deck is beautiful.

Best Steampunk-themed deck in a great mobile package. Of the several Steampunk-themed decks out there, this is best as a working deck, has had a lot of thought put into it. All of the Fool's Dog tarot apps are excellent, so if this deck interests you, there's no better way to try it.

Could have been perfect. I'm using this app less and less. I've barely made it a week. I'm sorry having females as Knights and Pages doesn't resonate with me at all. It only confuses my read & breaks my spirit focus. Otherwise this would've been a great deck. It should really state that very important change before I bought this deck.
