The best. You doodle is the best drawing app in the world because you can basically draw anything like a sunflower or something else so I think everyone should definitely use this app it is the best drawing app I’ve seen on the planet

So many ads now.. Way too many. They seem to have increased the frequency of the ads in the oast 2 months or so. Alot more than before and way more than necessary. This used to be my #1 app for all my editing but after paying for the plus package, im less enthused about it. Best to stick with the free version. Oherwise an ad pops up after EVERY action. (To entice you to buy the pro pkg)... im not taking the bait, i’ll find another app first.

Love it!!. Every other decent app out there wants to stick you with a monthly subscription that most of us don’t need every month of the year . I have been using Jeff’s bundle package since about 41/2 years and still loving it. He has now released this new version and I’m going to upgrade this one as soon as I can afford it since his last pro version more than gave me my money’s worth. I’ve experimented with a lot of other photo and video apps only to find they require subscriptions. Thank you Jeff for finding another way around that by using ad support or offering a one time fee to upgrade!! This way we don’t have to wait till we’re having a good month financially to get creative! If for some reason you don’t like this app, you just haven’t given it a fair shake. Keep up the good work Jeff!!

Glitch. Edit: Thank you guys for the advice! Keep up the good work! I use to adore this app to pieces! But ever since the new update, it has been very glitchy. Just recently, the app has been kicking me off automatically and not saving my creations. I am unable to stay on the app for more than 20 seconds. Good app. Bad glitch.

Straight up Amazing. I don’t know what you could even add to make this app better, but the app developer probably does! This app is the best and the only problem I have is the difficulty of making a clear template so that it doesn’t come with a white or black background, but it is easily fixable with scissors and a few steps. Thank you for this amazing app and how cheap it is!

Can you add…. When we load photos to edit inside the app, can you add an option that allows us to load photos from the general “All photos library” as opposed to the “Recents” album on iOS?

No Way This App is one star its Five 🖐🏼. This app is more than just editing pictures far more when you see it from another angle For example I use it to create artwork I love all the options they have on it like glow to the drawing pen, video recording as you draw, gradient maker, and the awesome spear and blur that making good shading techies I just wish the glow effect was a lot better more clear Try it! Big bug. When you draw in app, then you open iMessage and then you try to press it then nothing.......... This is an annoying bug that I ever had

I tried out nearly every Photoshop style app available and found You Doodle to not only have the silliest name, but also the best functionality for iPhone, most intuitive features, and endless fun potential. Finally paid the $3.99 after using the free version for years. Did I do it to remove ads? Nope: mainly i just want to give Jeff a few bucks for creating this true gem of an app.

Best art app. I LOVE this app, I can’t believe it’s free. It has everything I need and more. It is the only art app I need because i can do so much with it. Everyone should check out You Doodle and see how much is included and then download it quick before he comes to his senses and starts charging for it!

Exactly what I was looking for!. I haven’t had a chance to use it much yet, but after playing around with the features, I can see that it’s like Microsoft Paint on steroids. I hate trying to use my laptop as a tablet so I was so happy to find this app, since I can now just use my iPad for drawing and editing images, which is much easier for me.

Top Notch. I run a both a Facebook page for original memes and photo content as well as a subreddit community. I have used this app since it came out and it has been nothing but wonderful improvements. I feel like the capabilities of this software are beyond my skill of editing even. For me, just making silly ironic memes and goofs it’s been both reliable and impressive. If I am was someone looking for editing software and willing to go as far as PAYING for an app on their phone, they’re pretty serious about and it and this app would be the one for them!

Amazing. I love just about everything that this app has to offer. It has a lot of cool features all in one spot. My only concern is, I have the full version but I have ads again for some reason and I’m not a big fan of that.

Almost perfect. I love this app! I have reliably used it to draw for years, and have very little issues with it. That being said, I have two problems- the lack of layers available (you're given only two to work with) and the inability to rotate the image as we draw. the second one can be helped by rotating your phone, but the layer issue has caused problems a number of times. Other than those two problems, I love this app! I love the tools and the formatting of the app, as well as how easy it is to get a hang of. The different options for customization on the app make things so much easier, and experimenting with all the tools helps figure out loads of shortcuts in work. I've had the app for roughly five-six years, and will continue to use it for my digital art, but I can't rate it five stars without the layer system being fixed because even though its the only main issue its a rather big one that's caused some issues.

Great app!. I have used this app for years with no issue. It has been my go-to for basic image editing on the go. It’s easy, efficient, and has many opportunities for great editing despite it being pretty simple. Very solid app.

I love this app. I use it for basically all of the photos and PDFs I want to edit, converting em to a JPG or PNG whenever, making something somewhat or partially transparent, whatever. It's just a really good app

My Favorite!!. I've tried many photo editing, doodling, & collage apps, but I always come back to this one, because IT'S FREE!! (And the best) It has everything you need, always works like a charm, no issues with saving/exporting (& you can even turn your projects into .PDF's) & it's easy to use...I just love it!

Adobe who??. This app is by far the best, most intuitive and streamlined UI of any graphic arts app on iOS. Period. Photoshop and many others can do great things. However the learning curve is harsh and the UI’s are convoluted, obtuse and full of so many things I’ll never use. Not to mention almost every other app of this type is ridiculously expensive! This app is free to extremely reasonable in its modest cost for full access. Take it from someone who has been rocking this app since 2016: you won’t find a more powerful, user friendly app. Not with super awesome and friendly developers like this has. Not for free or cheap either. Thanks guys!

Starting to crash. So, I was testing a few things and doing what I normally do with the app, but now it is starting to crash. Please get this bug fixed. Thank you if you are reading this.

Good for crude shading, editing and simple drawing. It has a good amount of tools. Everything that you would need. The main reason I don’t use it as my main drawing program is because it only has two layers. I mostly just use it for the things I mentioned in the title. a request I have to the creators it to make it possible to go back when you merge layers. I have lost a fair amount of drawings which had the foreground layer behind and the backround layer in front because I merged the backround to the foreground.

Can you add something?. I love this app but I want you to add something: Can you make it so people from far away places can draw with me? I think it would make it better because my friends who like to draw can't be with me all of the time. 😅 Sooooo I would appreciate if you could make like a VIP link that you could copy and paste anywhere and then anyone who clicks on the link and has the app can access it. It works!. I’ve been using this app for years and I don’t think I’ve ever written a review. It’s a delight. All the tools are easy to use (I primarily use the app to draw hearts on pictures of my cats, but you can do a lot more). It’s wonderfully versatile without being complicated. Hooray!

Simple to use, yet there’s a lot to it. Love it. Simple enough you can learn to use it in minutes yet deep enough that even after years go by you feel like you’re still growing in using the program. I use it for teaching as well.

Where are the use instructions?. Bought the simple version. So busy didn’t have time to study it, to figure it out. So bought the Pro version thinking instructions would be offered with it... still a no go. The few times I’ve tried to figure out how to use it, I cannot, nor do I have the time. I still do not see that there are instructions anywhere in this app. I teach beginning computing and intuitively, it’s not happening. So I ask the developers, are there instructions hidden in this app somewhere? Otherwise it’s only of occasional use to me! I had heard about this app, have a need, but I avoid this app, so not only would I not recommend to others, I would tell them what I’ve said above. Bad news for an app developer!

You Doodle. I’ve purchased hundreds of apps! Most have taken my money and have changed their apps to expensive subscriptions. You Doddle is one of the last apps I have purchased that have not scammed me! Kudos “You Doidle” for staying true to firm

Excellent. This App is amazing - so far. There are so many options that are free. Patterns, shapes, effects and so many adjustments you can make. I’ve only used it once, but so far I think it’s an absolutely excellent painting/drawing/designing app! Highly recommend.

Best drawing app ever. I love this app, I've tried others in the past but never could achieve the level of detail that I could with YouDoodle. I always recommend it. My only problem is that you only have two layers. I'd really appreciate it if you could add an option to add as many layers as I want, or at least up to 10 (I usually only need 4, but I know others who like to have a lot). Another thing about the layers: once you switch over to the other layer, you can't undo anything on the previous one. This is slightly more urgent than the need for more than 2 layers.

Saving issue. I too am having a saving issue. It says the image is saved, but it does not appear in my photo library. Please fix this.

The best editing app I’ve ever used.. There are no pop up ads, I can edit and draw on my Instagram posts, making my account look really clean and nice. Lots of compliments!!!!

Suggestion. Can you add the feature to stroke any text, image, or shape? With multiple strokes Can you add more text curvature? Like “Flag etc”. Can you add the feature to make a name for your custom canvas sizes? Example 2048 x 2048 could be saved and reused again with the additional feature to add it to your collection and give it a custom name. Can you add more layers instead of 3 kind of like in photoshop. And maybe allow folders. Can you add the ability to take a object that was already placed and be able to move it or resize it again? It would be a layer. You could be able to give names to the layers too. Can you add a frames feature? This can be used to make animations? Can you add speed levels, color, stroke, shapes, and stickers to be allowed in the animations if animation features are implemented? I think you can do much more to make this the best doodle app ever. I really like it a lot! 5 Stars.

Keep it up. This is one of the best apps I’ve ever used. It’s user friendly and has enough features to do whatever you need to do. I’ve made multiple logos using this app for businesses. Highly recommend.

Best doodle app out there. This is a straightforward app with a ton of little features. I find myself going back to it again and again. One Word: Amazing. I've had this app for years, and it's always been the most useful program I've ever used. It's gotten me through so much work in school, to getting work done at a job, to editing photos for fun. Every time I edit a photo on this app, someone asks me how I got so good at photoshop. The best part is: I've ALWAYS been awful at it. If anyone needs a photo editing app, I'd recommend this over even photoshop on a computer!!!

This game is fantastic!. At first I couldn’t figure out some things, but there’s tutorials for everything I could think of! I love the different drawing tools, and how easy I can make my creations. The texture colors are really cool and helpful. I don’t even think there’s too much ads! I didn’t need an ad to find this. It caught my eye and now I love it.

My thinking?. I remember getting You doodle and it was great. I still have it and yesterday I upgraded to You doodle+ and its great. On you doodle it would sometimes ask me to watch an add to get all the tools for 2 hours and that was great but, when I ran out of time I waited until it would ask me again. So I use You doodle+ more often now. Cause I can use all the tools without watching an add. Thanks for reading this and hopefully your going to download this too. It's great!👌😄

Current Version has a Saving Issue!. I use this app on a daily basis, and for the last couple of weeks I’m having issues saving images. It says saved and then never shows up in my camera roll. I absolutely LOVE this app and hope this issue is fixed soon!

Best photo editing app on ios. Ive been using this app for about 4 years and there is no other photo editing on ios devices that has all of the capabilities of this one. Great app, would recommend to anyone.

Ads..? Still...?!. I love Youdoodle so much! Thought the free version was so good so I bought the “Plus” version !But why haven’t advertisements gone away after purchasing the “Plus” version? Doesn’t seem very “Plus” to me. Every other app removes ads after a single purchase! Why not Youdoodle?

Laggy. Amazing app. Would love to draw with it but its difficult when all i'm getting is lag. Other than that its very good. Could do with a Symmetry mode as well

Can you add.... This app is amazing I use it for all of my artwork! Although I have noticed on other apps that they have layers! And the layers help a lot. I know that your app has them but they don't work really well and I would like it if the app could have an option to have multiple layers since it helps to not delete your sketch while your adding color. Another thing that I would like to see is a brush that can automatically smooth out your lines. Not like the pen that you have but like a stabilizer to make your art look...professional? If that makes any sense 😂😂. Also the main thing that most people are asking is if you could draw with other people because it would make the app even better then it already is!also if you do add it then I could show off my super skills to my bff and other people! But It's okay if the things I recommend are a bit tacky and if you don't add them then that's fine because your app is baller!!! ❤️❤️ but there just some recommendations but besides that keep up the good work J!!! Tops all drawing apps!. I own about 5 or 6 drawing apple on my iPad, and I rarely use any of them since I got YouDoodle+ . I don't use YouDoodle for drawing on pics alone, but rather to draw digital art. There are so many tools that are very useful and and really easy use. Usually I sketch something on paper lightly then trace over it and colour in YouDoodle. The colours are great because you can choose the standard, or go into the colour palette for a bigger range, or go into the colour gradient thing for really specific colours! YouDoodle is really useful and the performance is very smooth. I wouldn't change anything about it because everything is so good! I highly recommend for expert artists or new artists. :)

One of the best. This app is number 1 I will not use any other app. I can't get enough of this app. I have not had any issues.

No other app needed. I have been using this app for a number of years now and literally love it so much I felt the need to write a review just to show my appreciation for how good it truly is. I have never upgraded to the pro version yet this app has still delivered everything in a photo editing app I've needed so far. You can edit right down to individual pixels if accuracy is what you're after the only downside to not upgrading I have found is having a limited max image size but I have never needed to go past this limit regardless. Could not recommend more. 👌🏼

Great Game but needs fixing. Ok this is one of the better games of the world but sometimes this game doesn't load as well as it should. Most of the time when I tap on the app and at least 5 seconds later it kicks out and I have almost 89% FULL storage. Please fix this. Otherwise wonderful game! I like how it has different fills and different patterns! ****- 4 and a half stars 😂

Needs fixing!. I've used this app for a few months and have really enjoyed how easy but effective it is. However, I went to use it one day and it closed whenever I tried to start a new drawing or import an old one. I've tried closing and reopening multiple times but it still closes itself any time I try to use it. Please fix this as I've never found an app I've liked as much as this one and don't want to have to relearn and restart on another app....

Fabulous App!. I have been using this app for a long time now , and it's amazing, buuuuuut, will there be an Animation Feature to the next update? Like all animating apps, you draw it, next slide, different movement, yeah animating Or is the "Slideshow" or "Gif" update part of/is the Animation update? Reply back anytime , and thanks for creating this app! It's fab :)

Not a fancy interface, but so powerful. When I first downloaded this app, I saw the rather dicky-looking interface and wondered how bad it was going to be, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's incredibly powerful and gives you so much control in editing images. This is one of my go-to apps. Every single time I use it, it blows me away that I can do this stuff on my phone. Give it a go, and explore all the options. You'll be glad you did.

This is a great app buuuut...... This is a great app I use it for all my digital art but with the new update there is a problem with the fill bucket when I try to fill in a space (only with some colours) there is a line between the line that I drew and the spot I have filled in for example yesterday I filled in a spot that was orange and a yellow line appeared between the line and the spot I filled in and another problem with the fill bucket is when I fill in a spot a couple of times instead of filling it it makes the colour a lighter or darker shade or a different colour all together Plz fix this problem it is really annoying and this app is the only app I like to use for digital art thanks ~livvy xoxo

Best editing app. I've been using this app for a long time now and I've got to say it's the best editing app I have ever used I can make posters and collages and lots more and it's for free so I give this app 5 stars

Amazing but a few suggestions. This app is amazing, I love it and I use it all the time. Nothing beats You Doodle. It's great for drawing pictures and the outcome is always great. I know that you listen to the users as I suggested the PNG feature (I was using a different name as I was on my other iPad) so I would like to make a few suggestions. Firstly, could you implement a shading and highlighting feature? You can do it how it is, but it literally took me four hours to shade and highlight my drawing (I'm not exaggerating either). It could be like the cutting feature, except the area you draw around, you can select the colour you want to change it to. Also it would be great to have a few more layers, two is okay... But having three or four would be even better. It would make things a lot easier. Also duplicating layers would be great as well. Those are all the suggestions I have for now Thank you Jeff for making a great app that is loved by all who use it. I frequently recommend it to my friends and they love it as well. 😀

PHOTOSHOP ON THE GO !!. I bought this app a long, long time ago. Paid once. Since then the app has been continually updated, perfected. I can do a paste up in no time using all of the essential tools, with loads of filters etc. You get professionnal results. This developer is dedicated and honest, for a change. Edit: it keeps getting better with every update.

Great app!!!. I love this app! A great app for artwork, whether you are drawing from scratch or editing photos. Well worth the few dollars for removing the ads! But I would love to see a few more editing brushes - a stretch brush would be great, as well as a sharpen brush, soften brush. :D

Photoshop for your Phone. I have been using this app for a couple years now. It is by far the best free app on the market! It does everything you can do in photoshop but on your phone! Excellent app! After using this for free for the last couple years I decided today that they deserve the money and I paid to have the ads removed.

Very useful, very cool and unique!. It has brushes that are a photograph. Like of water and you rub your finger on the screen and it puts the photographic image on it. You can make collages that way. Never seen this before. It also has all of the BEST fonts. Every color making thing imaginable it has. You can type in hex codes. It comes with presets. It has the run your finger around Color Space thing. This is a great painting app and doodle-playing app for anybody. But especially good for an older kid. Like 10 and up. It's fantastic.

Good app, but updates are annoying. This is a good app, but the fact that they are doing updated every 2 or 3 days is really annoying!!!! C'mon, wait a little bit more between every update, or just send the update it self, not the whole app to reinstall, it is always a full size update!

An art studio in the palm of your hand!. Easily the best and absolutely the fastest and easiest photo and image editing app available. Don't waste your time 'testing' other options only to be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and start with the best.

Best Tool Ever!. Love this App!!! Use it everyday to draw maps as I highlight directions on a google maps screenshot and send to my men. Not only as directions to a job but I can also upload equipment on a zoomed in site map so that I don't have to physically be onsite to show them where I want the machine set up such as a concrete pump.

The only problem is, well, there is an annoying bug that makes it so when I tap the screen with the brush tool, it makes a line... Other then that the app is great!

Easy to Use and Free👍👍👍. Most photo editors are difficult to use and cost like $11 a week. This is free and easy to use. It has quite a few options to edit things too.

Old UI. I know the answer is probably no, but could you let us choose the old UI over the new one? My hands have to readjust every time, and you even have themes. If that was an option, I would definitely buy the you doodle plus paid edition.

Great app!. This is a really good app for a free price. The ads are pretty tolerable and don't pop up very often, as other people have exaggerated. I have a suggestion though, even though it willl take aa lot of coding: Please make an option to "greenscreen" an image but with any color. Like I have an image and I wan't to make the background transparent or anther image. Im sorry for the bad grammar, im not very goood at english. Thanks, A Happy User

Angry customer. I bought the paid pro version, but I must warn others. If you try to re-install it, it does not recognize your purchase. Sadly I now use the two free versions again, which are chock full of ads and not all the shown features work. I see I am not the only one to have lost $3.99 on the pro version.

Good app. It's a good app it's kinda like procreate but there's no layers. It's fun and when I'm bored I color! They should add a feature blend. It's fun. It helps me concentrate.

Please FIX FILL!!!. Ok so my other reviews I either found whatever I am looking for or find it on the new update but I don't know now the Fill bucket either doesn't work at all or doesn't work the same way and how I want it to!

No return button or cancel. There is no return to Home Screen button, delete button, or cancel button that stops the current action/ task and returns you back to the Home Screen.

I can’t add photos!. On my iPad it doesn’t show the plus sign and after you press layers on iPad you can NEVER erase! The game is good but I can’t edit my photos ever! I’m sorry if this was mean but it’s true.

Needs major work. This app isn’t good. Not the worst, but not the best. Somethings they need to add are more layers, some way to clone parts of the picture and put said cloned part some were else, and to be able to angle the camera because it can’t help a lot. Somethings they did well are the fact that the eraser is nice and smooth so it doesn’t have that fade type thing, the ability to record, and that you can make granites on your drawings you really don’t see that offen in art apps Other art/drawing apps that I recommend Procreate: $4.00 IbisPaint: Free Audiodesk sketchbook: free

Improve the user experience. It’s often times hard to find various tools, labels are odd and there is a lack of instruction or help menu. I spent an hour trying to find the advertised “3D image rotation” and couldn’t find it, and when I looked it up all I got was a copypaste of the app description. Please help.

Ad removal pop ups. I paid for this stinking app long ago and I am now constantly getting !tch slapped with pop ups , I have used it in a long time I decide to revisit it and it's gonna be a nightmare every time I want to save my work are you kidding me 🤷‍♀️👩‍💻

Layer disappointment. Finally paid for the app and now I cannot work with the layers the way I could with the free version. Sure it has the commercials which are annoying but I can’t adjust the foreground layer anymore- once you say done it merges and you can’t fine tune the image without affecting the background.
