More Samsung Junk. I had my fingers crossed when I seen the update. And just like I thought, they still can’t get it right. This app is worthless on any apple device. It takes a few steps of going back and forth between devices to connect. Once it connects, it will take pictures, but if you try to zoom in, it immediately crashes. It just reminds me of why everyone I know only use apple. After 8 years of leaving Samsung/android products, I know I made the right choice. Samsung products were worthless then and still are today. Samsung app developers, please stay working for Samsung. Don’t ever come over to Apple.

Disappointed. Extremely disappointed in this app. Haven’t used my camera in a while, only to find out it’s no longer compatible with my iPhone version. Why have the app if you’re not going to keep up with the software to be able to benefit the consumers of the product. This camera was a waste of money.

Annoying and frustrating!. It’s been a few months now and my app still doesn’t detect my camera I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it multiple times I’ve tried everything and anything but I still do not have access to my pictures or videos through this app. Do not recommend!

Worked great before I update my iPhone system. The app was great before I updated my phone. Hadn’t used the camera in a while so I took it out and took some cute pictures of my dog but now I have to take them off the SIM card and put them on a laptop and send them to myself to get them into my phone which is really dumb. There needs to be an update or new app to use this with as it takes way longer to connect the SIM card to the computer and do it that way than it does to send them through my phone.

Not Supporting upgrade is terrible. This camera takes fantastic wonderful amazing incredible images do not provide support for the new operating system is terrible god awful. Again the camera is excellent the app still works ya 😀

Doesn’t work for ios. I don’t understand why this app is in the store if our phones are not compatible to be used with it. By that I mean the NFC (touch device to device to transfer) that you need to transfer photos will only work for apple pay so this app is useless.

Keeps crashing. Update: So I was excited to see that there was finally a new update after 2 years, supposedly compatible with iOS 10. Well the ViewFinder and AutoShare work better when I try to use the mobile link the app continues to crash. Good update but still needs some work. Original: Worked great a few months ago, now whenever I try to connect it to my camera it crashes, so inconvenient. Please fix!

Not compatible. Why would Apple have an app that is not compatible with my Samsung NX300? When I had a Samsung phone it was perfect for transferring pictures to my phone for sharing my sessions with clients via Facebook etc. I have tried this app several times and it just doesn’t work. If you could somehow fix this I would be so grateful. I’m growling increasingly frustrated with Apple. If my whole family didn’t own an iPhone, I would go back to Samsung!

Poor service. Few years ago I bought a NX200 and I was so happy loading my pic to my phone by the app, but something happen that I can’t do any more, is really frustrating to do few steps, for the camera give you a error message, and try again and again for nothing work, This app is bad don’t download

No support. Why do you not update this app? The main appeal of this camera was the ability to connect via wifi and transfer pictures and because you don’t update your app that is not working making a great camera worthless. I now have to buy another camera and believe me it won’t be a Samsung

No Longer Works with iOS 13–Samsung WB800F now a Useless!. Since iOS 13...I can no longer use my trusted WB800F WiFi Camera. I really liked the WiFi connection my Samsung had through this camera app to transfer pictures and videos to iPAD, I EVEN BOUGHT A SECOND WB800 F and gave my first one to my daughter! We travel extensively and there are always hundreds and hundreds of pix and vids to transfer and edit, but now these cameras are useless UNTIL THIS CAMERA APP IS UPDATED. As a Samsung loyalty customer—our TV is also SAMSUNG! —I am now losing hope in Samsung, if they choose to throw their good customers “ under the bus” and drop their support to the WiFi transfer app. PLEASE UPDATE! ——- Here is an EARLIER review I wrote about my WB800 F WiFi camera together with this camera app: Awesome! awesome! More Samsung JUNK. The only reason I gave this app a one star rating is because I don’t have an option to give it a lesser rating. It worked fine at first but it doesn’t any longer because Samsung won’t upgrade the app or create a new one that supports iPhone upgrades above iOS 11. “Create it and Forget it“ must be their motto because they do nothing to keep their customers satisfied. This feature is one of the reasons why I purchased my expensive Samsung camera. Takes great photos but if I can’t use the app, it’s pretty much useless. I used to have a Samsung smart phone, but I had problems with it and had to switch to Apple because I can’t afford to keep purchasing new phones every year. Better to pay the extra money for Apple because it lasts longer and they actually stand behind their products. “FYI Samsung, if you want to try to keep up with Apple, it would be a good idea to keep Apple customers happy as well as your own!!!!” This will be my last Samsung purchase because it’s quite obvious they don’t care about their customers or even their own reputation because I’m seeing tons of bad reviews regarding this app and other Samsung products that prove this theory.

it’s okay. i’ve been using it for a couple years on my older phones, and it works fine, like all my pictures end up going through, but the problem is that it takes ages to connect to my phone/tablet. sometimes it connects immediately and others i have to restart my phone etc just to get it to connect. yikes.

ZERO STARS!!. This app got stuck in the network settings. There’s no way to connect to the network even though you chose the connection stated on the camera itself. I noticed that the last update on this was 3y ago from today Nov2021. Probably a discontinued app no longer being serviced. It’s too bad. I love my camera and it still work but the Wi-Fi feature never worked for me because this app never worked the way it’s supposed to.

This works really good. Honestly at first this app wouldn’t let me open I but after a day it was working completely fine and I got all of my pictures and videos on my phone! It’s a really good app and I really suggest it!

Not compatible with ios 13. Doesn't work after updating to ios 13 and apparently there are no plans to update the app. What a disappointment to long time customers. I got my Samsung nx300 in 2014 but I guess that's ancient history and I should just run out and buy a new $700 camera, right? I'm done with Samsung as a brand - the long term support isn't there!

This app quit working with iOS 13.1.2. You can no longer connect the the Samsung Camera Network. Actually it looks like you’re connected to the Samsung Camera network but when you open the app you get a message that the iPhone isn’t connected to the Samsung network.

So dissapointed. I havent used nmy nx mini camera for almost a year and i never had any issues before whenever i trasfer files to my phone but for some reason today i tried to transfer pictures it wouldnt let me eventhough it says i am conneceted to the wifi so i dont understand WHYYYYYYY?!!! So annoying!

Won’t connect to camera ☹️😢. With all the items Samsung has to offer but they wont make it more accessible. This app doesn’t work, it won’t connect to my NX300 camera. I’m so disappointed and the camera is still expensive but doesn’t work with mobile phone.

Used to work well. This app was wonderful in the past... very easy to transfer. Since my last iPhone upgrade, it no longer works. I’ve tried everything. It would be nice if Samsung to spend just a little time to upgrade this app for those of us who purchased their very expensive cameras. Complete disappointment!

No longer works. Until the last IOS upgrade I would have given this app five stars but now it no longer works. What’s the use on having a WiFi camera if you can’t use that capability. I was waiting patiently for the upgrade to the app but I see now that it isn’t going to happen. Very Disappointing because now the app is complete crap.

Won’t Even DOWNLOAD HAHAHA!. Ok, I so I use both Samsung gear, NX series DSLR and their Galaxy 2 cameras. Have their 12” and 8” tablets w pens. Then I also have the old Note 3 which is a backup ph. However ai primarily use iPad Pro’s 12 and 10 and my daily IPhone 8 along w a Nikon and Canon DSLR. THOUGHT wouldn’t it be cool to have this app to automatically load photos onto my iPad or even my phone when I’m doing travel shoots. I can sync w Bluetooth to my galaxy gear and I believe a cloud. But this would have been so nice IF IT WORKED! Now bottom line.... doesn’t even LOAD! I had to crack up laughing! After a good laugh I realized that if this where my company and something with my name on it performed as problematic as this, whoever was responsible would truly be fired. To think it doesn’t reflect poorly is a real lack of good common business sense. Of course it does! Not as much on end of Apple as it does with Samsung! This is a real embarrassment to Samsung if they can’t see that, they need some changes. Man the growth potential of this had it been launched correctly! A little imagination goes along way! This was a bomb explosion in the face of Samsung. Fire the idiot who allows this app to ever see the light of day!

Don’t bother. App still doesn’t work with iOS 10 or iOS 11! I thought it would work, but still doesn’t. I’m starting to regret buying the camera because I hardly use it anymore because I’m not able to access my photos and upload through my phone. Please fix

still no update for IOS 14 still disappointed. Updated still no update for 1OS 13 now im writing again!! Used to love it but now it wont work with the new iOS update. Im very disappointed; the remote viewfinder and the easy ability to transfer photos was the reason I got this camera.

Works as Expected!. Honestly, this app works exactly as I expected, and as it has been advertised to, overall. There are some things I would like to see in the future is possible, such as an automatic connection to the camera via WiFi (since the NFC chip seems to be reserved for Apple Pay now), but these do not necessarily impede the functionality of the app.

Useless app. This app was basic at best but with each Apple update, it becomes more and more useless. First it was difficult to connect to my WIFI network or even my phones hotspot, now the camera will attempt to transfer my photos and says “Transfer complete” but nothing shows up on my phone. Very disappointed to have bought a relatively expensive camera for these features that gradually stop working. Please update this app!

Connected to my camera’s network ID. Nothing.. My iPhone does connect to the camera through Wifi, but that doesn’t transfer over to the app itself. What a huge disappointment. :(

Very bad support!. This app had issues since beginning. It was always hard to connect my smart camera to iPhone. Couple years this function doesn’t work at all. I bought Samsung camera because of features to control it from my phone through WiFi . Thats why I choose your product all over another. Although I cannot use this function! I’m so disappointed with Samsung.

Please update. Im using iphone 12 and wifi is not connecting in my iphone with my samsung wifi camera. This is the reason with i bought this camera. I hope you can do something about it.

Still dose not connect to Apple devices. An update to the prior review, still one star (really zero). App will not connect to my ST150F Samsung camera says no connection to camera, so have to use a PC to get photos off camera to share. Maybe works only on Samsung phones, if so Apple take this off your App Store!

Junk -1 year later. It’s been a year, and thought I would try again. Camera has sat in a drawer. Still unable to connect the camera to the iPad using the app, WiFi, Bluetooth or camera adapter. Chatted with Samsung tech and told the only way to connect is Bluetooth. Still doe not connect. Then told it isn’t compatible with Apple. Useless app and camera for me. I know it isn’t an Apple product, but why have an app for it? This is my first review, but I felt strongly enough about the poor performance of the app to write one. I have the samsung ek-gc200 camera. I also use an iPad Pro. Unable to get my pictures onto the pro. I bought the micro to sd card camera reader, and nothing. I downloaded this app, and just continues to tell me to connect to the cameras WiFi network (no network detected). I just chatted with Samsung tech, and the results were not good. I was told that the app is not compatible with apple. What? I downloaded the app via Apple App Store onto my iPad Pro. How can it not be compatible with Apple. Then I was told I just have to wait for an update to the app, making my Samsung camera useless. I have a Kodak camera that does just fine. No problems using the card reader to download. Not an Apple issue, not a Kodak issue, strictly Samsung. Very disappointed.

Why doesn’t this work any more?. A few years ago, I bought the Samsung NX300 and have loved the wi-fi feature to transfer my photos seamlessly to my iPad or iPhone. Recently I decided to buy the NX Mini that is supposed to have the same feature but the mobile app doesn’t work anymore. I know Samsung has discontinued making cameras but they should at least continue to support this app for their customers who spent a lot of money on them.

Camera is useless if you don’t have a computer. App does not work on iOS . Poor support from Samsung. Please update so I can fully use my camera the way you intended it to be used. I bought camera to share pics to my iPad and iPhone but can no longer do it

Has Become Worst Transfer App Ever. I usually don’t write reviews for apps or much of anything but I’m just so upset with this app and Samsung. Ever since updating my iphone past ios 11, I have not been able to transfer any photos from my Samsung smart camera to my iphone or any other device. It is extremely frustrating as I have over 500 photos I would have liked to edit and print. I spent so much time trying to transfer them via usd and wifi but no luck. As the other comments say they have tried sim card and sd card transfers and no luck. I’m honestly so upset and not sure what to do next because it doesn’t seem like the creators of this app will ever update it again to be able to work for iphone users past ios 11, which in 2022 is so extremely rare if there are any at all. If you see this before purchasing a Samsung camera, keep this in mind for methods of transfer.

Wb250f camera. Transferred pics using WiFi from the camera to iPad camera roll, however, using it for awhile it stopped working and when I would select transfer the iPad jumped back to home screen. Anyone have and thoughts?

No longer works after IOS 13 update. App was always marginal but now will not connect to either my iPhone or iPad. I own several Samsung products but with this they have lost me as a customer - a feature that was very attractive when I purchased my NX30 is now gone. Suggest staying away from Samsung until this issue is addressed.

Broken App. I bought an NX300 and regret it. It was an expensive camera at the time and WiFi connectivity was relatively new. At the time the camera always connected immediately to my iPhone without issue. I used the remote feature constantly. Now I’m lucky if I get my phone to connect to the app at all, and even when I do the remote capture feature doesn’t work at all. It makes my camera freeze and the image isn’t mirrored on my phone. What a disaster.

Frustrating. App collapses everytime i transfer files from cam to iphone. Then freezes my camera. Only works better with my samsung note 2 which i dont use anymore. If you put this app in app store then i hope it works both ways

Useless since iOS 13. I’ll keep it short and simple, the app is not compatible with iOS 13. The great this about this camera/app was it’s WiFi connection and being able to transfer pics easily between the camera and phone. Would be great if the creators of this app would get up to date with iPhone users. Very disappointing!

Amazing!!. Not sure why there’s such negative reviews. I use this to send pics from my NX3000 to my iPhone after I take them (I’m a professional photographer) and they transfer over in good time and in full quality

Another reason to not buy Samsung.. Never buy Samsung items except there TVs. All the other items they never support. They play around with other products. Even the phones are so full of junk they run poor after a year..

Why?. Have had this camera for a while and have used the app before. It’s been a while but I used the camera the other day and now want the pictures sent to my phone....app doesn’t work. AT ALL! 🤬😡I have an 11+IPhone so maybe that’s why it won’t work...but I’ll ask again...Why??? Why would this app not work with my phone? Furious!

Can connect to cam’s Wi-Fi. App says not connected. I guess like everyone else the later iOS versions are not supported. Would have been a useful feature had it still worked. Back to using a usb cable to get the pictures.

Please update the app. This does not work. I’m an iPhone user and I’ve read the reviews. Seems likely that I’ll be getting the same response, just wait for them to update the app. Please update the app for compatibility. We have no way to really transfer the photos via this app. Will try to upload them to a computer via a cable and if this doesn’t work, we will just have to buy and use a camera and products that do work. Omni level products please.

Dependable until today. Found it dependable for awhile. Today however it stopped working. Tried finding a fix but it’s been futile. Tried looking for customer support however it’s been equally rough. Freed up storage space and yet nothing.

Where are my photos?. I have an iPhone 6s and it connects perfectly fine to the camera but when I go to download the images, I have to wait at least 5 minutes for them to download. That isn’t why I’m mad. I’m mad because I can’t find my photos or videos ANYWHERE on my iPhone. WHAT THE HECK! I sat here for 45 minutes waiting for a video to download and it didn’t even go into my camera roll. Trash app.

Shame on you!. Shame on you Samsung. Two years ago (today is September 2018) this app worked flawlessly. (I’m using the iPhone 6 and NX300The latest update is so bad. I used to be able to do all the tasks in the WiFi feature. Now, I can only use “Remote Viewfinder” (self-explanatory) and “auto-share” which allows you to immediately send a captured photo directly to your phone after the shot has been taken. Don’t let your phone time out or the camera time out, or you will have to reconnect your camera and phone again, from the beginning.

Please update the app. I used to love this app for my remote viewfinder for my camera, but it doesn’t work any more! The NX3300 also doesn’t have any remote shutter releases on market, so my only option was this app that doesn’t work. Please fix it!

Doesn’t work with IOS 13.. My iPhone 8 is running the official release of iOS 13 and if I try to connect to my Samsung smart camera now it won’t work. The app says it not connected to the camera. Also when I used the app in iOS 12 and click the shutter button the app crashes. VERY POOR APP. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!

Works just fine. It works just fine with my ios 12. It use to not work before but i googled and basically there’s a trick to this in the wifi settings. And i bet it’ll work.

Have always had trouble. Have always had trouble with app. Always having to delete and reinstall but now it won’t work at all. Have tried multiple times on my phone and iPad.

KEEPS CRASHING!!!. Whenever I try to transfer photos onto my phone the app crashes and my camera freezes and can only be turned off by manually taking out the battery

Works fine. I've just purchased a Samsung WB35F, taken photos, and transferred them to my iPhone. No issues at all - easy to do and works fine.

Needs update for IOS 8.. Great app that is really handy but has stopped working since the IOS 8 has come out. Please update this app.

Remote Viewfinder lacks shooting mode options. In the next firmware update, the Remote Viewfinder needs the the option to shoot in manual mode and RAW format, basicaly acting as a remote shutter release. If possible, more camera control like exposure and zoom. Also to save the image to the camera only.

Really disappointing. This app used to work so well but now it doesn’t work at all. I connect my iPhone to the wifi connection from the Samsung camera but the app keeps saying that it’s not connected and therefore won’t let me view any of my Samsung cameras photos. This is really annoying as it used to be a great way to quickly get my photos from my camera onto my phone. Will be deleting the app and getting rid of my Samsung camera.

Poorly designed App and not functional. This app has a purpose, it's purpose is to allow wireless transferral of photographs from a Samsung Smart Camera to an iPhone. This app fails to fulfil its purpose and Samsung should be ashamed about marketing a technology that doesn't work. Please rectify this issue. I am running an iPhone 6s on iOS 9.3.1.

Forgot about the nx1000. Within 3 years of sale the nx1000 smart camera is no longer supported. A bit of false feature claimed there

iOS 10 update impact. Great app. It was handy being able to transfer photos wirelessly using my iPhone 6s. However the iOS10 update has hampered connection between the camera and the app. Could not connect to the wi fi.

No good. Bought a NX3000, downloaded the app and it crashes straight away!! Fix it please. I bought this camera knowing I could use wifi and I can't!

Needs update!. It was working perfectly until the IOS8 update, it keeps sending the first photo (out of all the ones I picked) then crashing and the 1 photo doesn't even save so please please please do a bug fix update!

Smart Camera / Mobile Link app. These worked perfectly until the new IOS8 update and now they will not connect. The WIFi connects but not the Apps. Please find a fix.

Really bad. Amazingly bad that Samsung has not kept this app up to date .... so much for investing in one of Samsung’s cameras .... now I have nothing to efficiently manage photos ... really poor form.

Crashes under iOS 8. It was good, if a little slow and clunky but since the update to iOS 8, the app crashes as soon as you start transferring photos. This functionality was one of the reasons I chose the NX300. Please fix!

Poorly designed. This app does exactly what it says on the box: it connects to your Samsung camera, and allows you to download its photos and use it to take pictures. What it doesn't say on the box is that this functionality is wrapped in what is probably the most ugly, unintuitive and badly designed user interface. Some of the buttons, for example, are not even in English. Saving from your camera is extremely confusing first time around as you're given no feedback as to whether or not the pictures are saved (which they are, although the app doesn't tell you this). The picture preview functionality is also extremely poorly designed, as pressing and holding on a photo brings up an ill-fitting window that only magnifies the picture by about 10%. All in all, this app does the job, but inexplicably manages to annoy and confuse the user at every single stage.

Crashing !. Previously great app, worked like a charm loading photo whilst celebrating the moment. But recently realised the app continually crashes and doesn't work anymore. Such a shame! My opinion, don't bother downloading.

This app used to be so handy and fantastic for sharing photos quickly between devices however with the new technology and updates i dont think this app is working anymore because of it? Works fine. This works fine for downloading the photo and video files off my NX30 to my IPad mini 2! The speed is relatively fast even for the short vid clips. I don't understand why people say it doesn't work in the comment section. You connect the device via wifi settings. The app does tell you so.

Terrible. Just bought the nx3000 purely for this feature to find out it doesn't work is ridiculous! It's not like a cheap camera so the fact that this hasn't been sorted is an insult to your customers. I see bad reviews going back months complaining about the same problem.. This app not even opening. Please get it fixed as soon as possible, like today would be great

Needs an update for IOS8. I use this app all the time, and really love it - super handy and easy to use. Unfortunately it has been rendered useless on the iPad due to iOS 8 - please update ASAP!

Ok But NOT suited for the latest ISO8 Update. It was great up until the latest IOS8 update by Apple. It keeps crashing & not allowing you to connect to device. Once you had a play with it & learnt how to use the App it was great! Please do update

Absolutely annoyed and frustrated. I’ve gone to use my old WB250f camera and found out that it’s not got much support and all the main features I bought it for are wiped out. What’s the point of spending extra money at the time of purchase for features the company is going to remove of in the future. I would’ve been better off with a different camera for the same price tag at the time!

App for Samsung Smart Camera?. This application does not work with the Samsung Galaxy Smart Camera! So it does nothing like advertised yet! And it is not yet a app for Samsung Smart Camera! They need to support EK-GC100 to actually be a samsung art camera app.

No longer works. This app used to work, but hasn’t for the last few years and has been really disappointing. They shouldn’t promise that the camera can download photos to your phone if the app that’s required to do so does not work.

HORRIBLE APP!!. I am very disappointed I cannot use this app anymore. It is my only way to transfer photos from my samsung camera to my phone. The app will not allow me to use it, please fix it soon.

Still buggy. I can use the remote viewfinder on my iphone4, operate zoom and take 1 picture. Then the app gets stuck spinning saying Capturing. The camera got the photo and they are only a few inches away, not sure what the bug in the app is. Would also be nice to shoot Video but there is no option.

Does not work!. Using an iPad mini 3 running the latest iOS (as of the date of writing) and the app simply does not function. I couldn't close a pop up message because the screen was out of proportion and wouldn't let me resize. The old stand alone apps, mobile link and remote viewfinder was better!

App is outdated. The app to transfer photos from the camera is not supported by my IOS. Needs updating, otherwise camera is useless.

Decent App but has some bugs in iOS 8. I first used this App over a year ago, on my iPhone 5 with iOS 7, to work with a WB800F Smart camera. It worked well for all stated functions at that time (copying pictures over WiFi, Remote Viewfinder, etc). Unfortunately, it now has some issues when running on iOS 8. Copying pictures to iPhone over WiFi and Remote Backup to computer over WiFi both still work OK. But, the Remote Viewfinder function only partially works. You can take a picture of what the camera is pointing at, but if you touch the Zoom button, the App crashes. Shouldn’t be too hard to fix this. Please do so soon.

Horrible app. I can get the app to work properly on my iPhone, but not my iPad, where I really want it. When on the 'picture selection' screen, the dialogue box is stuck in the upper right corner, and completely unusable. To get my pictures on my iPad, I'm stuck transferring them to my iPhone, then use the Photo Transfer app to get them from my iPhone to iPad.

Doesn’t work with iOS8. Unfortunately this app appears incompatible with iOS8, but even prior it’s a very unstable app, would like to see Samsung come out with a more polished app for it’s cameras.

NEW UPDATE = HORRIBLE. I updated this a couple weeks ago, I have IOS 6.1 and when I connected it to add 3-7 photos onto my phone, the app quit and the camera said transfer failed - right now I have to use my phone and I am not happy about it. This camera I got for my birthday and I love the camera but this app needs to support iOS 6 too and make this problem better so it will send photos to my phone. HORRIBLE UPDATE

Where is the iPad optimized version. I'm sure this works great on an iPhone but it has little to offer with iPad since the last update. I can barely see the picture I'm going to take and you can't position the iPad in landscape. For remote viewing an area in your home it's like looking at a postage stamp. If this app worked well on iPad I'd rate it much higher.

Still Junk. I bought my wife a Samsung WB380F for the Bluetooth/WiFi feature. Just went to Scotland and wife had taken some pictures…. Apparently connectivity is nil on any Apple device…. Great Job Samsung….🤦🏼‍♂️

Worthless. This was a swing and a miss by Samsung to use wifi built into a camera to transfer files. I gave up trying to use this app and feature on a pretty good camera. You cannot download pics from the camera to the PC with a Micro USB. You need the smart app. The app does not work Buy an old fashion micro SD card reader. Better yet, don't but these cameras

App Always crash. Hi Samsung could you please fix your app that connect to camera? It’s always crash and took decade to connect and at the end doesn’t even connected! Zero result. Annoying.

No Longer Works. Worked great until they stopped supporting updates for new iOS. Samsung basically bricked the WiFi function of their cameras as every other recent review states. I have an NX300.

Flat out doesn’t work. Despite being connected to my camera’s network, as specified by the network ID on the display, this app continues with to tell me I’m not connected. The fact this hasn’t been fixed yet is pretty bad.
