What happened to NCR app??. I love the EWTN app, and I know they also now own the National Catholic Register (NCR). I can no longer open my (paid) NCR App and it doesn’t appear any longer in the App Store. What happened?? I read it every day, and all of a sudden it’s gone! Is it coming back? I saw no notice that it was being disabled, and I can’t tell you how disappointed I am.

EWTN. This Eternal Word Television Network and the ability to use the APP bring a great comfort and interest of subject matter to my home or on the go. My visit. My visit to EWTN and the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament was well worth the time and efforts. Not only do I recommend the EWTN App but I assure you when you visit if you have the pleasure to speak with Cristi Ramis or Father Mark you will feel their down to earth friendship as is expressed from the love of Our Lord. Best app EVER!. EWTN brought me back to The Catholic faith! It helps to sustain me even now. I use the app almost daily, to check their radio & tv schedules, and sometimes their “Holy Reminders” Catalogue, for their beautiful items. App Changes Don’t Make Sense. The recent changes to the app and what programs are in what section of the choices is very confusing. Long time users are frustrated as there is no “guide” on where and how to access favorite programs other than just pushing buttons. From a look and feel perspective I like the app. However, my sister doesn’t know where to find her favorite programs easily and I take a call a week to guide her.

No purchases needed for New Testament!. Some wrote a review that the New Testament dramatized had to be purchased. The normal reading is free and has some dramatization! There is a menu item that offers a “full dramatized New Testament” more like a Hollywood production but it is not advertised nor pushed, just a menu item. There is not one single advertisement nor any pop ups in this app. So I do not know what the other reviewer was reviewing. This app is beautiful designed, easy to navigate, works with all my blue tooth listening devices as well as all my vehicles so I can listen as I drive. It is seamless and descriptive for easy selection for what you’re in the mood for. Fr. Wade Menezes’ Tuesday live call in show is on there so I can keep up! As well as the other open line hosts. Also the best of Mother Angelica which even our teen boys laugh and enjoy listening while I am cooking in the kitchen. There is even a section you can rent or buy some of the best Catholic videos. All regular EWTN programs are free to watch and or listen to as always.

Ewtn review. This is an amazing network, I enjoy it every day since I was made aware of the programming. Mother Angelica’s dream come true with Our Lords help has inspired so many people. God bless everyone involved in the continuation of this program.

Sales tactics. This site as nice a few years back. It now seems to be full of up sells i.e. new car salesman tactics. 20 bucks for just the New Testament audio is absurd. There are numerous free apps with narrated audio bible. I guess it's o.k for people who have money to throw away but they already make money when you download the app by bulk harvesting data, as with any app, not to mention donations through the app, TV and online. Then there are little odds and ends here and there to loosen up your purse strings. Seems like a sales funnel to me. I would have hoped the word of the Lord meant more than earnings.

Awesome Catholic Netwerk. There is something in this app for everyone. From nonbelievers they have been in the faith since they were babies. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to lead a great life. Your friends and family thank you for it!!

Outstanding. An outstanding way to carry EWTN radio, tv, and audio and video archives in the palm of your hand. Not to mention the Bible readily available for a quick verse lookup or to read while you are waiting or have some down time. I listen to it at home and in my car. Love it.

How to grow in the faith. Listening to EWTN on the radio is edifying, educating and really helps you to grow in your faith. I think we all need to get back to listening to radio stations That bring us back to our roots.

A beacon for Catholics and Christians alike. This app is a gem. If you’re a Catholic wavering in faith, if you’re a Christian who would like to know more about the Catholic faith and don’t know where to start or whom to speak to, this app is a good start and will not lead you astray. In fact it’s for anyone who wants to know more about Jesus and his ever-abiding love for us. If only you know how much our Lord waits for you: to talk to him and tell him about your problems; to know and love him, for one cannot love whom one does not know. Love Love Love. I find great comfort listening to this network. I love every show more than th last. Programming is varied and to th heart of th matter. I opt to listen to this network’s programs over any other. I love saying th rosary each day with Mother Angelica, th next woman of our ages to become candidate for Sainthood. Love EWTN. I wish everyone could watch EWTN. If people are not aware of EWTN it is only by chance that they find the station. There is such a wealth of information on the shows that are being broadcasted. The five part series of What Catholics need to know about the Transgender. A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing. The book The Devil and Bella Dodd. So many good things. I love my Catholic faith. EWTN is a BLESSING.

EWTN App latest release Dec 2020. Since posting the previous review, I have had a much better experience. The performance of the app is very consistent and unless I’m in an area with poor signal the audio on demand content loads without much delay. I can’t recall if there was an app update sense my first review but the EWTN app is excellent. Absolutely love EWTN and all of he great services they provide especially via the app. I I would have addressed the following via web developer link if such one worked/existed on the app. Please note I also have the most recent version of iOS (14.3) and as of this review. The only issue related to the mobile app is that those with limited internet access (ex poor cell signal or low bandwidth) may find the change to have one icon on the app’s home page for the On Demand content versus the previous separate ‘audio’ and ‘video’ icons to present performance issues in the loading of the list of available content. Basically if you want just audio or video or catalog content separately you will have to wait much longer for the page to load. I experienced a noticeable increase in time to load content and this despite having 2-3 bars of LTE signal. Additionally I have found the app may unexpectedly close when in the On Demand page.

Availability. 1. Prior to you switching to your present format of colored pictures depicting your available products, I had no problem watching or listening to any program in your on demand category. I’ve written in multiple times by email to tell you that on demand is not reliable. It is hit and miss. Sometimes I get a program not available message, but can listen to the audio. Some evenings, nothing will come up because the entire playlist for on demand does not appear when selected. I love the programs you have. I don’t love that the new and improved update doesn’t work. 2. When you advertise that a video is free to watch, you do not say where it is free. 3. The schedule is for watch only. I suggest you add a radio schedule. I love EWTN and have grown in my knowledge of the faith by watching the programs and doing the Bible studies with Father Mitch. I am a covert. I contribute to the company because I believe in its mission. Thank you for your time

Best Catholic movies and programs!!. I love EWTN! They have great programs and amazing movies for the entire family. It’s also free which makes it even better. If you are wanting to learn about your faith or are curious about the Catholic faith, I highly recommend checking EWTN app

EWTN app is great!. I have had this App for a long time. It is great when I travel, since EWTN is not on most hotel cable/satellite connections, I can always catch the wonderful shows. Also I often use the Rosary with Mother Angelica when I need some extra peace in my spirit; listening closely you can hear/feel the sister’s devotion to our Lord which brings such peace in this troubled world. Most probably can’t even imagine being contemplative or they think how great to not have to go in to the daily office/work environment. You really need to stop and learn what be a contemplative religious is. It is a truly rewarding life but it is a working life where one is totally dependent upon God for all they have. They have bills and payments to be made and managed but unlike you or I , no one has said here I will give you these many dollars for these many hours of work. So while they are praying for you, I and the world they still have to meet the obligations of this world to maintain this website and all its great abilities . I think it is just wonderful ! Doug R

Many thanks to EWTN. I am so thankful for mother Angelica who started the network EWTN. The daily mass gets me through my daily life and gives me strength to take care of everything that comes my way. I also love the personalities of each priest. After years of watching the Daily Mass and other programs on EWTN, I hope I have become a better person.

New design lacks focus. IMO the new design is a hodgepodge of content rolled together without proper organization and looks like an old car radio. This app would benefit from the developers re-reading the Apple Human Interface Guidelines (especially the section about navigation) and thinking about how to structure content instead of putting a tab bar, hamburger menu, and button grid all on one screen (that is then cut off at the bottom by a decorative image showing gray lines). Also, the search page is very unclear. It only searches the Bible, but is labeled "Search" and is on the same tab bar with Bible, schedules, and home (which implies that it is a peer to schedules and home, not specifically tied to Bible). Combine that with the filter selector having only two letter abbreviations and the only way to tell what it does is to do a search and see what happens. EWTN has great content, and I appreciate the effort it takes to make an app, but this feels like an early beta.

Daily Readings and Daily Mass and Daily Homilies. The ability to read the daily readings and contemplate, ponder, reflect, learn from, and gain understanding of Gods work and plan of salvation through the ages and the saving grace of his begotten son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and ability to then watch Mass and celebrate the the receiving of the Eucharist, and hear the wonderful homilies given by the various Priests and to listen to the choir on a daily basis is a joy and a blessing, and I am very thankful for EWTN.

EWTN. I can’t say enough about EWTN. Recently getting the free app on my phone has enabled me to watch it more often. When the opportunity arises I check the live stream , if it is something I have already seen or possibly not particularly interested in I go to “on demand .” Here I have found some awesome films - mother Teresa and Rhoda wise or I have explored shows like, the Jim and joy at home show, fr Mitch pacawa just to name a few. On days I am unable to attend daily mass I listen and follow along to the daily readings and then hear an inspiring homily by one of the ewtn priest. I have to say a recent pilgrimage with my husband to irondale/Hanceville to visit ewtn inspired me to view the networks rich resource of Catholic material more than I had before . If you can take a trip to Alabama to see what mother Angelica started I highly recommend it. Until you get there , tune into ewtn and be spiritual moved and draw closer to Jesus !

My most favorite TV Channel send. I watch many hours everyday of EWTN most especially Mother Angelica Mother is the absolute favorite in our happy home. I’m so very happy I joined The EWTN family The December to Remember Thank you Jesus, Blessed Mother or Jesus’ Mama my youngest called Blessed Mother at the tender impressionable age. We dont’t forget our dear Saint Joseph. Greatest Love story ever told. A Nun once told me that in describing what the holy Bible is. EWTN brings our Catholic faith to life! It is a reinforcer of our faith that we learned as children in our catechism classes. I personally call it God's network. EWTN has reignited my faith and has changed my life immensely. I have experienced miracles through praying the Divine mercy chaplet and the rosary as I listen to to EWTN and watch it on TV. Through God, EWTN has worked wonders in our world as well. Thank you to all the dedicated people that continue to carry-on the production of EWTN where Mother Angelica left off. Amen!

Bible Not working. Purchased the dramatization of the Bible 3 years ago. For the 1st 6 months both the Old Testament and New Testament worked fine. I could listen to it all day. Eventually the Old Testament stopped working that till this very day only the New Testament can be heard. One has to read the Old Testament-of you Have poor vision as I do reading it Then makes it extremely difficult to do. Hopefully it gets fixed soon for it Was my main purpose for ordering this.. simply so I can listen to it. Otherwise it’s a waste of money.

Improved Application. I’ve enjoyed this platform for many years and am quite pleased with changes to the application. The majority of items I find of interest are “bubbled up” into more readily and more-easily found menus and data bins, accessibility is much improved. Hence, resources that I might have forgotten or lost interest have become open to discovery. Thank you, and may He continue to guide your hands!

EWTN. I love EWTN… It inspires me in a away non one could understand. I am do not get out of the house much and Jesus is right at my fingertips. The programs are phenomenal!!! The Franciscan priests who lovingly serve the global flock of EWTN are my favorite Good Shepherds with THE MOST poignant, catechetical, uplifting, and grounding homilies that often bring me peace in a chaotic world, especially Father Joseph Mary Wolfe’s homilies! The way he tells short stories of real life saints, or saints in the making, is so wonderfully captivating and inviting and always takes you back to the Gospel and our faith. Father Joseph, Father Mitch, Father Leonard, Father John Paul, Father Matthew, Father Dominque, Father Mark - who did I miss?! - THANK YOU for continuing Mother Angelica’s work - God’s work - everyday through EWTN. God bless you and everyone at EWTN - especially Mother’s poor Clare nuns - for praying for our EWTN family and sharing the love and light of Christ, especially when things can seem dark and confusing. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! Latest update is AWFUL!. Your new app update doesn’t deserve ANY stars in my review! It’s AWFUL!! All of my favorite audio-on-demand shows are missing. I don’t want to watch the radio shows! I want to listen to Open Line with Fr. Larry! Fr. Mitch, and all the others! Why did you take them off! There isn’t even an audio on demand icon anymore. I have limited internet here and video takes up a lot more internet allowance. I’m so upset that about this new update that I’m deleting your app. This used to be my favorite app, but since you removed the only things I like about it, I’m going to delete it.

Unable to get EWTN channel on Direct TV Stream.. Talked to AT&T and Direct Tv Stream Customer service representatives on May 9,2022. I was advised by both that your channel is not available . I was told the reason is that you do not have a current contract with the new Direct TV Stream only with regular Direct TV. Hoping there is a contract pending as I previously had watched your channel daily on television before switching to Stream.

No support Chromecast. I downloaded the app to watch a video on demand that was available for free for a month. I didn’t find a chromecast option to stream the video on my tv. I am not sure if I will have to go to my pc, use Chrome and then stream that way, but it makes it inconvenient to only be able to watch content on limited options. Chrome cast has been around for a couple of years now. Hopefully the app can be updated in the future. I think I will just watch this documentary and then delete the EWTN app.

Grow in your Faith. I m so grateful for EWTN because it has made me grow even greater in my Catholic faith. Watching this Faith Center program, I was able to learn on how to Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, this beautiful prayer that touches me way inside of my Soul. Thank you EWTN for your faithful Service to hungry souls like myself. Amen.

March for Life coverage. I think the app was overwhelmed during the rally phase. Mine kept freezing up and/or kicking back to the Home Screen. It worked well the rest of the time. I hope you can fix this issue for next year.

Watch everyday. EWTN is a wonderful ministry. I am a small monthly donor and wish I could afford more. I have a wonderful parish but ewtn seems like a parish too. Like in the old days when we always had 4-5 priests, young and old! Love the special programs and the regular ones as well as the news- regular and prolife.

I am impressed with the new design of the app, I love being able to have daily inspiration that keeps me focused on growing in my Faith, I have had this app since my first iPhone and I still have all of my personal highlights and notes , I can keep track of my spiritual growth and see the things that I need to work on. Great app. This app is perfect for anyone who enjoys listening to EWTN. I especially love the international radio content which gives me a wider choice of programs to listen to. I also appreciate the podcast library so I can stay caught up on the shows I love to listen to.

A wonderful tool. This app is a much needed tool for us Christians! However, I have a suggestion, I saw no where to do this so here it is: I think it would be a great additional tool to have an accessible copy of the current month and the feast days listed for each day. This would be available in the drop down say “Calendar”

Life saving!!!. I use the EWTN app all the time . I watch the masses and the shows. And I listen to the radio programs. I’m especially appreciative of The Doctor Is In radio show with Dr. Ray! It’s the first one I listened to on the app and it was a Godsend! It truly took me through some very rough times!! Finding the the app was like being thrown a lifesaver. I also watch on television, but with this I can take it on the go!!! I have it with me at all times! Truly a lifesaver!!! Thank you!!!

EWTN APP. I never thought I would enjoy EWTN‘s app as much as I do. Just recovering from surgery. I’ve been listening on my phone to so many programs and it has increased my love; not only for EWTN but for our Catholic Church. It is the best move I made.

God on demand. What a wonderful way to watch everything with a touch of a button, when I am undergoing Chemotherapy I have access to daily mass while I am receiving treatment, plus being able to access The Holy Rosary when I am praying

Best app I have ever bought!. As the title says, everything works flawlessly, the video and audio podcasts are clear and quick. I bought the bible audio too. The way it is spoken is better than a Hollywood production. Not just a voice reading to you, rather multiple voices and realistic background sounds that let you imagine you are right there.

Missing content. Since the last update, some programs are no longer available on demand in audio only, specifically The World Over. I’m no longer able to listen while mobile. Sad.

ReallyReallyPoor. Reall never used in awhile. It is terrible now and I am thinking I will probably delete very soon from all my devices. It was great a couple of years ago.

the new format is not as easy to use. the older layout worked better for my smaller screen. not everyone has a massive new phone with a large screen :( i think american companies forget that not only america uses your apps and gets a new phone every year. many people have older phones with smaller screens. i also dislike the grey and white or inverted formats. though it is nice getting the dark mode option for evening, the white with blue was more soothing to see every day.

EWTN is my lifeline to uplifting content!. I am still discovering the extent of EWTN’s incredible content that helps me grow in my faith, and discover the richness of a vibrant faith life. I am constantly encouraged to realize that as a Catholic Christian, I am not alone!

Reaches 400 millon Catholics every day Pope not in favor but he is too busy with scandals &financialscandals that are plaging the vatican andnot being handled swiftly The founder was the fiesty mother Angelica and her contact from up above to build the church. She only had $200 But God helped her complete this fabulous church with His helpfrom above I just donated to them for their fabulous work God is happy for ewtn so i do not know why the pope does not favor EWTN i have become a better Catholic thanks to EWTN Peligna

Decent but still needs work. For example how long will it take for this app to gain CC or Subtitles for the deaf or heard of hearing in its videos it would be nice if it add this so that way for those who are stuck at home or just can’t make it to church some days can understand what is being said in the daily mass ceremonies.

Quality app. It has everything. It has Bible, rosary, divine mercy, mass, etc. If you haven’t downloaded, you should definitely consider it.

Holy Rosary video. There’s an option to purchase the video of the Holy Rosary with Mother Angelica, which I did. In the description, it states that there’s videos for the Sorrowful, Joyful, Glorious, and Luminous mysteries. There’s videos for all of them but the Luminous mysteries. This should be fixed/updated. Otherwise, this app is great! I use it all the time!

Doesn’t work properly. App works great on one phone but I can only get the Bible on the other phone which is disappointing that all the benefits of the app can’t be used on my other phone

My Favorite TV Station. Ever since I was introduced to EWTN, this TV station has completed transform my life. It’s a TV station I tune to for solace when I feel like hearing the Eternal Word of God. Simply put, EWTN is my favorite TV station.

Works great. Love how easy it is to find programs I’m interested in. Can tune into live streams or find something pre-recorded. So grateful to the technical teams that work to make it run so smoothly.

On Demand. When I tap "on demand" and go to next page, no listing of programs appears to select from. If I enter a program name in the search box, after selecting free, nothing happens. I updated the app just a few minutes ago and still nothing happens. What is going on? Thanks
