Great game!. The game difficulty increases gradually in each level. You need to get as many medals as you can to earn new planes that are essential to beat the higher levels.

Simple, Difficult, Challenging, and very fun. I was amazed to discover that for a game to be great, fancy color graphics are not needed. I suggest you add a button to roll the plane. Meaning to right the plane from cockpit down. That would put controls back in the correct perspective. The levels become challenging very quickly. I am unable to get past lvl 13. I don't know if the objective is to destroy the camp in a certain time, or save the troops from the tanks. Even in level 3 or 4, i have only been able to obtain one star. Give me a 10 word help to know how the scoring works so i can earn 3 medals. I think I need a faster plane to pass lvl 13. Game if fast to start, restart and has all the characteristics of a great phone game experience. Sound is good, not over-done. I recommend this game.

Awful. Don't waste your time.. Awful transition of difficulty. Levels 1-9 are too simple, then levels 10+ become impossible. Controls are weak and inconsistent. Bored.

Great to a point. This game is incredibly great, until level 17-18. Then it becomes impossible. Enemy planes just pop into the sky right behind you, appearing suddenly. And your plane is not as durable. Increased difficulty is fine to a point. Then it gets beyond frustrating. To be fair, this game gave me several hours of pleasure as I learned to fly and shoot and bomb with greater and greater dexterity. Then, you just hit a wall. I wonder if higher levels even exist despite the appearance that if you could just get past 18 once, the next level would unlock…. Lol

Beautifully Executed. This is the type of game that you can keep on your device for a long time. Similar to the angry birds theme of many levels with three stars to earn. Love, love, love the art style.

It’s unclear how to earn stars and why I receive only one if I kill all.. It’s unclear how to earn stars and why I receive only one if I kill all. If I kill all enemies faster to protect my soldiers - I receive less stars just because doesn’t kill enough enemies... one star only for this behavior that doesn’t allow earn stars.

Awesome but difficult. This game is amazing I just love the old black and white and that's its WWI. But there's just one problem and it's that the games is way too hard. I'm stuck at level 22 and it's impossible to complete because they give you one restore balloon and then send out 4 planes at once and massacre you. Pls make it easier I would really like that to happen.

How about some more levels?. Finished all the levels and I want more. This game is great. How about letting us drive the bombers?

Was looking forward to playing..... Thank gods I got as free download through AppAdvice because I can't even play it!! Watching/play through tutorial im asked to go back to refuel and NOTHING I do does ANYTHING! if it weren't for the green arrow flashing id think it froze! No way to send devs any type of feedback or ask for help! Ridiculous and deleted.

Craptastic controls. Out of laziness (or spite) the devs give you one set of controls for flying left and right...only you can only fly left upside down, making the controls extremely unintuitive. The game is thus Very Frustrating not because of difficulty, but because of poor controls. Simple, ugly graphics and repetitive missions.

Level Up. What's up with level 22. I'm at the point of deleting this app. It's a great game but come on.

Very Entertaining and Fun. Almost a little too simple- but not too easy. Provides hours of challenging and frustrating fun. Graphics and design are great. It'd be nice if the plane didn't have to fly upside down when going the other way. The second to last challenge when you escort the friendly airship I noticed that the enemy planes, although not as advanced in designed can out perform the best plane your allowed to have as a player which makes no sense an makes me wonder if the dev team was paying attention.

Too difficult. Couldn’t beat zeppelin on level 13 and couldn’t get any more stars for a better plane so game over for me.

Inconsistent. Good game. The controls are simple which fallows the game. Not very consistent on the reward of stars. The higher levels are a bit much. When you have 5 planes chasing you with just up and down buttons the enjoyment is lost.

Love it!. It's a little awkward that you get stuck at the edges of the screen, but it totally works. I only wish I could drop bombs when flying upside down. Maybe there should be a barrel roll button to flip over when flying upside down. Either way, it's a fun game. Well done!

Fun. Challenge to get 3/3 stars on each level. Take away 1 star for number of times I've crashed because of controls. Worth playing.

Rewiew. Nice game, cool Missions and stuff.

Gets Too Hard Too Fast. Needs easy, normal and hard modes. By level 10 it's taking 15+ tries to get through a level which isn't much fun. I'm sure there are gamers that can cruise through with no problem, but not all of us game for 12 hours a day.

The controls are terrible. Up/down should be a joystick or at least closer together, the shoot/bomb buttons are too small. Otherwise awesome game, just hard to play.

Enemy Odds. I'm enjoying the challenge of each level. On the other hands I have found some single campaigns that ranging from (1) winnable-3stars after learning a strategy, (2) a fluke win if you get past 2stars, and a rare couple in each of the last two campaign panels that seem flat-out impossible to win whether that mission even let's me get to a 2nd star. None the less, as a 72 year old die-hard, I'll keep trying, & I look forward to the game lasting me for months (maybe years) before I am ever victorious at every level. 2nd "review" sees me want to make 3 more observations to "mission(s) impossible". > There are missions that just can't be done other than by sheer fluke, if even then. >>My experienced reasons evolve around missions: 18, 21, 24, 26, 27 & 28. >>> Observation #1 - Player can't possible wait for enough of their own squadron aircraft to get into the air to have the necessary assistance to be successful! >>> Observation #2 - Player too quickly gets outnumbered by enemy aircraft &/or extreme ground fire to be 3 star successful, becoming impossibly locked at 2 star level! >>> Observation #3 - Player when seemingly about to be even 2 star level successful, is suddenly "timed out" prematurely, well short of the time offered on other missions where even 2 star success is difficult, but attainable! My conclusion at this point after months of playing without even a single added 1 star level success (mission 28 specifically), IS THAT I AM NOW WASTING MY TIME TRYING TO DO ANY BETTER!! I am by this review, advising I am deleting the game I have until recently enjoyed, as it's becoming too frustrating, and moving on to other entertainment. Thanks for the experience! Cadjem

Hidden Gem. I just happen to stumble upon this game somehow and boy, am I glad I did! I'm very suprised this game didn't get much/any press. It's a gem. I LOVE the black and white artwork and old time film feel. Controls are great also. Pick this game up and support the developers! Crappy Devs!. I liked this game until they updated it and took my Fokker away. I now have to re earn it! Am I going to have to re earn it every time you update? Don't waste a dime on this unless they guarantee it won't happen again. The Fokker is not easy to get! I'm furious! I encourage everyone to 1star this thing.
