Because if we're not playing, we are not watching the ads...get it? This new "Star Cup" with rankings where you lose points is the straw. ETA: Losing star points still a function of the Star Cup, so I'm not going to play anymore, having lost over 30 points apparently just by opening the Star Cup to see if those changes were still in effect.

Petition to Make angry birds games for the Nintendo switch. I freaking love the angry birds franchise and I really want angry birds games for the Nintendo switch . Maybe instead of angry birds trilogy you could make Angry birds the fully angered collection with the original angry birds angry birds seasons ,star wars and space and maybe 2 rpg games called Angry birds the wrath of the pigs and angry birds the piggy wars and A platformer game called angry birds z and another one called angry birds it’s about time where you red gets pushed into a time machine and has to fight pig bosses in every dimension. You could even make a game called angry birds egglympics where the angry birds characters go in Olympic Games. And even a remake of angry birds go called angry birds go re-race and one for angry birds epic called angry birds epic next battle and another remake for angry birds action called angry birds action re-angered. Maybe make a game called angry birds x where Instead of the pigs stealing the eggs which Is getting kinda boring imo They trash bird island and the birds get so angry that they try to stop them. This would be very awesome. Please do this.

Exciting concept but poor design, very expensive game. The concept of the game and animation is very good. But more designed towards increasing their income. The birds don't have much power unless enhanced using a sling or magic poison for each occurrence of a level. And the pigs are out of reach in some levels and requires more power ups. The cost of the in-app purchases keep increasing almost every couple of months. Also, Sometimes the rewards don’t get credited after watching the full ad. This game has become monotonous and boring to play. They have made more difficult to play in the name of challenge. And if we get good at it, they promote and increase the difficulty level. I used play the game to reduce stress but It’s no longer fun to play. Just moving on. I would now give less than 2 stars.

All about the BUCK$$$$$. I have been playing this game for years now and am so frustrated over the changes that have been made in the last few weeks. When all other games have been offering freebies and incentives to play, especially during the COVID-19 quarantine, this one has increased the need to spend money to play under the guise of giving more! 😡 They started out allowing you to use more power ups only to start making the birds slower, weaker and less birds to use than is needed to even make a dent in each level. Even the power ups are slower and weaker but guess what...you can use more of them buttttt you have to purchase them. I’m very disgusted especially considering these game apps are some of the few companies that benefited from the quarantine! Star cup drama.. I great game I love the tournament and the piggy tower. The only thing I can complain about is the star cup, the game will NOT let you get to a 6 streak under any circumstances. The early streak levels will be easy but then you will probably get squashed by the opponent from somewhere streak levels 4-6. One level I did great, the next I got slaughtered. The tournament is fun, you try to get the highest scores on level so you can rank higher in the league. It is hard to get in first but it is possible (with the aid of powerups). The piggy tower is also nice but it doesn’t last long, and some of the level are a pain to get three stars 😔.

greedy dishonest and infuriating. Powerups are anything but, just money spent for nothing. They charge way too much for them, then literally make them useless. The block of dynamite that won’t go off no matter how many things land right on it, or if thrown into a bunch of blocks will only destroy itself. Wingman that should be able to destroy a line of wood or glass blocks stops after two and just spins till it disappears. Close the app and when you come back you will have lost some of them, and clear the whole screen of every single thing but still be a hundred thousand points from the top score, how is that even possible? I am not a beginner nor stupid, I am a player, have won every tournament I have played, till now. I played this tournament for hours and every time, the power ups would not work or if they worked, my score at the end would be way lower than it was when I scored without any power ups. I have gone from liking this game to literally hating this game. I will never play another Rovio game.

A long term relationship you know you should get out... I have played this franchise for more than 10 yrs. The original Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons were the best versions. I started playing Friends when those were no longer having new levels added. In the years I have played this version, the levels have gotten less creative and MUCH more redundant. The frequency of ads has increased to the point that the game is the intermission between the ads. I have historically been able to earn enough birds to play satisfactorily by streaming those ads until just recently. Now the option for earning birds in this manner is much less frequent (I presume because they would rather you just give them $ directly for birds). You could also earn birds and coins in the “Brawl” section, but for a couple of weeks that has also been nonfunctional. You can play and it will debit your “turns” but you don’t win any reward even if you win your round. It just tells you to play a round to join a season. Yep. That is what I just did. All in all, the developers of this game have sucked all the fun and creativity and problem-solving out of it. So, alas, it may be time to end this less-than-satisfying long-term relationship.

Cute graphics and animation, but small bugs. Overall very good, but needs fixes. When you are in a level and you have a power up of count 0, the game may invite you to watch a video for a free power up. In this case, the theme music still plays during video advertisement. Similarly, if you do the Daily Spin with an ad, the theme music plays with the advertising video. Similarly, if you choose to watch an ad video to increase feathers on a bird in your flock, the theme song conflicts with the advertisement. There is no option to enable sound effects with no theme music. There is a serious glitch in the Star Cup. I can finish a level, with all my birds used and the opponent’s score stabilized, with me winning, but when I end the level it sometimes bumps the opponent’s score up so I unexpectedly lose! In fact sometimes the opponent’s score remains 0 until the level has ended, and afterwards the opponent’s score suddenly is as big or bigger than my score. This bug is not consistent. Usually the scoring works fine.

Please fix. I really like this game but it's constantly kicking me off. I lose my free birds after an add, the birds randomly shoot off without me touching the screen. I lost my high score constantly. I even lose my mini games due to the ads kicking me offline. I get high ranks, like 1st, 2nd or 3rd, but it gives me 17 coins as it shows I'm in last place, even when my scores are in the 1st - 3rd high scores. Please fix this. I'm tired of being kicked offline, losing my ranks in the tournaments and I need those free birds... I watch those endlessly irritating ads, at least let me have those needed birds, slingshots, etc. I can never get past 4th or 5th treasure chest in the mini tournaments, because I get kicked off and have to start from the beginning... over and over. It's beyond frustrating.

What gives???. I was in Gold League...Sunday night, I go in the game to see how I did in the tournament and it tells me that there is an update. Ok...I get the update and now I am in Warm ups?! All of my slingshots are locked, I no longer have league standing, every reward I earned from the tournament is gone...I am back at the beginning???? What the hell, you guys? And it happened again...an update took me all the way back to the beginning, and now there are ads! Okay, I was mildly annoyed when you stopped updating AB for desktop computers, and again with the updates that erase my progress, but now there are ads tucked in between three levels. AB Friends was one of the only apps without the nagging commercials, but not anymore. Sad to say, our friends at Rovio have sold out.

this one & match3. of all the AB versions, it’s got to be a tie between this one and AB-match3. but, it’s close. they are both great games on two different games formats. the only problem is how small everything is. i mean i’m not on a 4s or something. they screen size on my iPhone11 has plenty of play area. the tiny little pigs are sometimes fun to find, but the birds are so small, that i have to waste a few, and then start over if i want to know which ones they are, when my sound is off. all part of the fun, really, but it gets to be frustrating during tournament play, because you don’t get to start over, and it can KILL a streak if you play a bird wrong. but, all in all, this game is a blast! thanks, dev’s. keep ‘em coming! (can’t wait to see the new head-t- head set-up!)

Way way way way way way too many ads. Maybe I’ve got a version that’s different from others, but the ads pop in every 4 or 5 or so minutes and some are not easy to get past once you sit thru it…and seem to last a few mins each time. I honestly get so annoyed I wouldn’t try the games they are pushing just because they are so annoying. The AB Friends game is awesome and the tournament and levels are always challenging and different…never boring. But the constant ads really take away from the games…I get that they help pay for the outstanding programming and development on the game, but it’s way way way way way too much. Would rate it 10 stars if the ads didn’t constantly disrupt the games. Sorry.

Most replay value of any Angry Birds game. I've been playing nearly every day for more than five years. Of all iPad games, this is the one I enjoy most. I look forward to seeing what each new week will bring. My favorite levels are the ones with the cannons, but we haven't had one of those for months. Rovio, make more cannon levels! :) [EDIT: They did, for a recent Pirate Week. Yay! Now make some more!] UPDATE late 2017: The star tournament added recently has been fun to do, but it really should hand out more bird coins as rewards. It could easily become a trap for people who spend too much money on in-app purchases.

Angry Birds steals my coins and everything!. They say the holidays and into 2019 have exciting new games! Then , due to glitches on both my iPhone and iPad, I have “something went wrong ....sorry “ and I am totally robbed of all I have worked for. I can’t get in to either game. And there is no chance my money will be there if I could ever get back on. This has been my favorite game for years, but I will not give them any more money to start over. Don’t think this won’t happen to you. Avoid this game and all Angry Birds games! It is a total rip off. It is called stealing and in the name of a game. “Oops”, they say to make it okay. NO MORE

Disappointed. I have played this game for many years getting up to level 7 and most times being in the top 10 and have won at least three times. I mistakenly deleted the app and reinstalled it, but had to start from zero. The new version I am playing is, at least to me, a above average player, is designed so you must buy the extras to have any chance to compete. I know this game inside and out and I will say that the scoring is ridiculous. Where I would be on my deleted version in level 7 in the top 5 to10, I am now in the 30’s position. My point is not where I am, but disappointed that I have to spend money whereas before I spent money to move up. This version is not worth the trouble to compete as even when i would buy the points, increase my game points, I only move up1 or 2 places. I want the developers to make money, but this has become a losing venture and no longer fun

Pay to Win. This is classic, old-school bird-flinging fun. Be aware: “Friends” is a pay to win setup. In tournament mode, levels are filled with extra points (diamonds, etc.) for those who are willing to constantly buy power-ups…and there is ALWAYS someone willing to spend more money than you. In regular mode, some levels are impossible to get 3 stars without power-ups, especially as you get higher up the tower. I don’t begrudge them making a profit. This gets spendy fast if you care about your place on the leaderboard. I’d rather pay $10 for the game and have it be purely based on skill. I’ve been playing AB since it came out. This version is fun and uses the original physics of the game. Wish they’d also bring back the orbital and modified physics from Space and Star Wars.

Fun Game…but. It clearly rigged in several manners. I don’t understand why they bother to rig it, but it’s clear that they do. Sometimes, the birds are noticeably less effective. Other times you loose a tournament when there’s no way you could have gotten enough points to win because there isn’t enough hardware left to damage. Two or three wood blocks aren’t going to make up for a 300,000 point difference. I have multiple screen shots of such examples. Finally, the latest has been the program crashing on the sixth tournament level when you are about ready to win. Once or twice is perhaps a coincidence, but dozens of times it crashes at just that level and no other level is just too coincidental. And always crashes AFTER you watch the ad.

unfriendly angry birds friends. for the past 24hrs i’ve been locked out/denied access to angry birds friends — when i try to play up pops a screen with the oh so cute, not, message “OOPS! SOMETHING WENT WRONG. SORRY,” followed by two choices: MORE and OK MORE returns “SERVER DATA ERROR EXPECTED: OBJECT. GOT: NULL FEG4” it’s been very difficult to track down the cause for this error, and seemingly impossible to resolve/fix it perhaps it relates to Facebook ... since i don’t support Facebook, perhaps i’ll never be able to play ABF again? last time i experienced this access denial, i lost a full compliment of slings, many coins and power-ups — a lot of those had been purchased for real $$$ …contacting Rovio was not easy, getting any help not much better — i followed the advice that was provided which resulted in losing all progress (back to newbie status) and no return of items, or $$$, lost Dear Rovio if you require players to go through Facebook, make this known up front. Clearly you’re glad to take users’ money and provide nothing in return, You were once a great provider of entertainment. Now, not so much. Not a stellar way to go, e.g., not Star worthy. ps in case you haven’t heard, Facebook has some serious security issues. How much do they pay you to shovel people their way?

Glitches. The BEST games Rovio putout were the original Angry Birds and it’s clones: Seasons (my favorite), Space, and Rio. I had quit playing all the newer Rovio games, the ones that came out after Rovio was bought out, because they weren’t fun anymore. They were fancier, the programmers and animators worked very hard on them, but they weren’t FUN. After a few years I decided to try Rovio again (Covid shut-downs making me desperate?). This game, Friends, plays like those originals, and WOULD BE fun if …. If only they didn’t glitch. As a “for instance”, slowing down and/or freezing so that the level must be started over, or the best solution (like hitting a blinking light) doesn’t work, so a 3 star score isn’t possible. Come on, Rovio, you have had a chance. If I find one more glitchy level you’re done for another few years. P.S. To those players who complain about spending too much on power-ups…. I am an old lady -almost 80 years - have played 60 levels, and only on the horribly glitchy level 60 did I need a power-up to pass the level. In the latest tournament that I bothered to take part in, I was 3rd place with no power-up used. I advise you stop complaining about spending money and focus on improving your skills and strategy.

Too Many Ads, Seriously.. When I first began playing this tournament style of Angry Birds, I didn't mind watching some of the ads, as it was an acceptable amount. I really enjoyed playing Angry Birds as a tournament and like the incentives. Now, I get 3 ads in a row! Come on, guys. Don't chase us away with all of the ads. When I get my free spins, it will just be ad after ad after ad until I just go onto another game app to get away from the onslaught. Enough, okay? Also, I feel like I'm not really playing against "real" people because I don't ever see the same names each time. Something not right with that. Also, I agree with Curly. Same thing has happened to me. Okay, I do enjoy this game a lot, but when I find something else I like with fewer ads, I'll be gone.

Fun to play, but Ad-greedy. I do love to play this game, however lately they have been playing more and more ads. Now, in addition to the ads that are optional for you to watch to receive bonuses, etc., Now they shove ads down your throat and between the matches. It is one thing to consent to watching an ad to get an extra bonus, however being forced to watch ads on top of the other ads is getting to be a little too much. And many of the ads are not appropriate for all ages so if you have children playing this game, which I’m sure that they do, they will be exposed to inappropriate ads. They clearly do not care where the ad revenue comes from as long as they are shoving the ads down your throat continuously. Stop being so greedy, I’m sure you make enough money as it is, stop it with the unskippable ads!

Fun time kill but have some suspicions. I have played this game for a few years and find it fun. I don’t play against anyone, so my competition is computer-matched. There are patterns in the strength of my opponents. For example, the first game after losing it is generally easy to get at least two out of three stars. Many times after winning game 1, the game 2 opponent is much more difficult. Higher levels of competition is good, but there are times when the opponent score is beyond possible. For example, I just got beat by over 2 million points and there was maybe 200,000 points left for me to get (I would share a screen capture if I could). It seems to me as though the computer is making the game 2 matches extremely difficult or impossible. Why? I can only reason that it’s to avoid the higher bird coin payouts for higher levels of games.

Ads are relentless. I’ve been playing this for several years. You would get an ad pop up now and then. But the frequency of the ads popping up has become relentless. It’s now every time I open up each of the levels to play. And the star tournament you open up each of the 3 levels go to throw a bird , next thing you know an ad pops up and you can lose points because you can’t see where the bird you just threw went. I know you have to make money with ads being the venue, but they are so frequent, repetitive and annoying. I am so tired of seeing any the Age of Z one which I am kind of offended by. Women in bikinis or suggestive outfits shooting guns is disgusting. Also if there is something to hit in the upper left you can’t see it due to the power ups blocking to view. Make that expandable so we can hide it.

Game is getting worse as Rovio gets greedy. I’ve been playing this game since the beginning and it’s hard to believe how fast it’s gone downhill over the last couple years. First, the gameplay was changed to promote the use of maximum power ups. It’s almost impossible to get winning scores now without using power ups to collect all the items that are added along the bottom of the game levels. After the recent update glitch where the game froze for many people, I’ve lost 10 years of progress and over 23,000 bird coins. Literally had to start over. Once I got the game working again, I was disappointed to find that the power up wheel has changed, for the worse, and that random ads are now put in between levels that provide no reward for watching. It’s almost like the original developers sold the game to someone else who is just trying to milk it for all they can.

Alright this game is kinda good. This may be the closest game that we get to the classics and I like that but in case you did not know Rovio people like the old games WAY more than the ones we have now. This game is good overall though. But I think you would get WAY more downloads if you brought back the old classics like the first game, the Star Wars game, Angry birds Go! And the a lot more like Seasons, Angry Birds Epic! And Angry Birds Fight which I think at this point you guys forgot about the game but for real if you won’t do it for just 1 person then do it for the MILLIONS of people that prefer the classic games. Please Rovio I know you want to update the newer games I’m not saying to update them I’m just saying to bring them back but for now you won’t see me playing much angry birds

Brawl. Sooo what’s up with these new wheel 🙄 it looks like just more ads and 1/4 the jackpot. You guys alredy cut from 2 to 1 every time we watch ad or turn the wheel and even after all that when I do want to use the bird I have to watch another ad which are now more then 30–35 seconds plus another few for waiting for that X so I can close it. Seriously guys….disappointed. Btw free wheel thing still don’t always work. So the changes in tournament part is very good the brawl part is well you guys took the fun out of it. Also soooooo many ads. 😣 I touch screen once could be anything boom ad pops up. To start new game….ad…to go back…ad urrghhhh u guys have alredy changed to 1 reward instead of reg 2. So do either or. More add sure give 2 rewards then or cut back. It takes fun out of playing the game. Maybe ok in beginning but players will get irritated with it. Also the wheel don’t always work.

Soooooooo EXPENSIVE !!!. I’ve been playing Angry birds and Angry birds friends since they came out, and for the most part enjoyed it; except when you get kicked out of the game, especially during your highest score😡! This happens every time I play, as well as it freezing up during, or after the ads that are meant to give you free power ups, so then you waste several minutes watching either a frozen screen or it giving you an error so you don’t get the power up, then you have to power off and reload. Rovio has also taken the “Let’s make tons of profits” to a ridiculous level. You are unable to get 3 stars on most levels unless you power up and to power up, you have to purchase coins which are extremely expensive and the higher level you go, the more power ups you have to use in order to be competitive and earn coins. I guess the only solution is to quit playing a game that I have loved for years. Greed is the worst!

Latest update. January update. Use to love but now it is terrible, I can’t even play it with totally re installing it so sad because evidently the creators do not care because it’s been mentioned by many. December 19th update, it was doing better and now it’s back to the sluggish play. Please Please fix it. Latest update, thank you for acknowledging there was a problem with the game, I still don’t like the graphics as much but the sluggishness is better. Ps. I just tried to contact you about the game and it will not allow me to unless I want to work for you? Is it just me or has the latest update made the game sluggish for lack of a better word. It’s a problem I have never had before and do not have with any other games so I don’t believe it is my machine. It’s not fun to try and play anymore and that’s sad

Still has major issues and bugs after years of updates. I have been playing this stupid, money grubbing game for over 6 years, and they same goes for the last review I just read. Rovio absolutely does not care about fixing any of the issues I’ve reported over a dozen times. The spinning rewards wheel, for example- they “yeah, you get an extra spin per day”! Totally bs…more than half the time, you watch the stupid ad, then sometimes you get two spins like you’re supposed to, half the time not. Same with the supposedly three different free birds if you watch the ads- sometimes you get three, but more often than not, you only get two. You can switch back and forth more than a dozen times before you see the third free bird and then it just disappears. Same goes for the three “free” birds in the coin section…very “sneaky”- sometimes you click back and forth over and over again, but you still probably only get 2 free birds, even if you sit through the ads. Beyond frustrating! Shutting down the app, rebooting your iPhone, none of these things fix the problems and issues. Total waste of time and money. I totaled it up and I was spending over $3000 a year! I was only compensated once for a bundle I bought and paid for and didn’t get. Horrible Customer Service and Tech Support to boot. Save your money and your lives! STAY AWAY- TRUST ME…it’s not worth the thousands of dollars for this time wasting/ addiction game. Not worth it. 0 stars

Great game but... Love the game really fun, I love the tournaments. Every time it’s creative and I love when the levels reflect certain holidays. My only issue is recently with this last update I’ve noticed I’m not getting my rewards when I complete a level and get 3 stars. I should be getting 8 coins each time and it shows that I should get it but my coins never update to show the new amount. It’s really annoying, I think I’m owed over 50 extra coins that I never got at this point. Edit: This is like a year later and still having the same issues the coins I should have. Now none of the coins I earn are updating into my “bank”, it keeps playing the little clip where the coins get added up at the end of the weekly challenge over and over and over but when I try to use them while playing a level, my coins aren’t there. Get it together developers my god!

Really good…but a bit bugged. This game is really fun and even has some old features from the old AB games like the sound effects and extra points when you have some leftover birds , but it has some glitches one being that sometimes when you complete one level with three stars and then when you move on to the next level you don’t see any stars on the level but then again the game will correct it’s self when you complete the next level so it doesn’t matter too much (oh and they redesigned Hal for like the third time I mean second design was looked good to me so I don’t know why Rovio changed Hal again but it looks kinda ok I guess.)

Ok I do have a question it happens to me a lot when I pretty much demolish everything but maybe a block or two I’m still in 24 th place now why is that when everything else is gone except 2 things I’m in 24th place I am very agitated with this game cuz of that bull crap but I do love this game even though to me it seems like it’s rigged for other people to win I should make it a 0 star game but I like it it happened to me twice yesterday never should’ve of been 24th on the one game everything was demolished but 2 blocks and I’m in 24th spot wow I was mad I wanted to delete this game but like I said I love this game I’m done with rant have a good day now I will always play this game cuz I love it

Major technical issues. I do love angry birds. I used to play all the time. I recently downloaded the new app on my iPad and as before, I couldn’t stop playing! HOWEVER, several times when I have left the game to work, I come back and the game has put me BACK several levels. For example; I completed level 103 and when I went back later to play, it had me starting at level 97! The levels beyond 97 were LOCKED again. and this has happened a few times so if it continues I will have to delete the game because I don’t want to play the same levels over and over again. Not too happy considering this game has been around for long I feel this kind of error should not happen.

Not A Happy Camper ☹️. I’ve been playing this game for years, competing with a friend in all the tournaments. We’ve had a great deal of fun, & would like to continue. A major problem is that the recent restructuring of power-up offerings has pretty much ruined things. For example, it’s no longer possible to opt for one type of power-up—now it’s necessary to get them in bundles. That means that if they‘re used unevenly, a player is stuck with a collection of less frequently used items. Also, the option to watch videos to obtain power-ups, outside the actual gameplay area, is gone. For players who can’t afford to spend a lot of money, this is a real problem. It should also be said that the person I play with has experienced serious problems with being able to access the game @ all (he plays on desktop, I play on my phone). This is all very disappointing, & I’m going to miss playing Angry Birds Friends. ☹️

Closest to the original as I could find. My personal favorite version of angry birds is the original, no leveling up birds, no transformers, no battles version. Angry birds friends is the closest I could find. Rovio could you please release the old version where there were a bunch of themed level for each land? It is my favorite and it isn’t as overwhelming visually. I would really appreciate it. I mean what’s the harm? You could make it like retro angry birds and tons of people would go for it. I do like how you release new levels that change every few days and you try to score the highest, that adds a fun element but once you get to diamond level, there really isn’t anything to earn, there is no point. Maybe you should release more themed slingshots or add skins for your birds. You kind of level out on friends. I still play it for the changing levels but if it didn’t have that I would have gotten rid of it. Overall it’s a fun game but I would like it if you could take my suggestions into consideration, thanks!

Angry bird friends. I have to admit that i still enjoy playing the six levels a week. I made the decision to play without power ups (or whatever the scoring aids are called) so it may limit my scores some. I had some problems a month or so ago with an upgrade ( original ipad ios 5), but other than that issue the game has worked well and provides a few hours of entertainment a week - generally trying to coax an extra point or two out of the game. I am a bit miffed when the latest update did not work under iOS 5. Lost slingshots and other items, so I,lol play it natural or un enhanced, no more purchases. a continuation the star tournament is compelling, i enjoy the four time a day one on one challenge. i don’t i particularly good at the game, i made star level nine once, but generally hover around level one.

A Nice Alternative Fun To Be An Angry Bird Friend. I’ve been playing Angry Bird Friends, and for some reason it works out better for me than Angry Birds. I guess I’m better suited as a friend of the Angry Birds. Anyway I’ve been having a lot of fun; Blowing up, thrashing, smashing those naughty piggies. Always after the prized bird eggs; all the piggies and their evil foreman stop at nothing, building worlds to thwart all Angry Bird Attacks! It’s fun blowing up, smashing, demolishing piggies, and theirs structures. If you’ve tried Angry Birds, and it some how didn’t work very well. If you were great at Angry Birds, or perhaps you never played Angry Birds. Give Friends of Angry Birds a try, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Pay to win, just like all the other new rovio “games”. This game is like getting a glass of freshwater after having drank saltwater. The saltwater being angry birds 2. At least that’s what I used to think when I first downloaded this game. I had high expectations, but with the addition of Star cup brawl the pay to win factor could not be more obvious other than a disclaimer stating that they will try to rip you off from the beginning. I presume that this game used to be fun but just like angry birds 2 succumbed to the power of corporate expectations. (look out Disney, you’re next) It’s not even the advertisements that make this game almost unbearable. It is the fine tuning to subtly destroy your chances of winning. I suggest buying the rovio classics angry birds (as that has received much better reviews) instead of wasting your time here. I truly am disappointed that angry birds had to turn its path to the way of “money, money, money.”

AB. The game is getting more intricate and difficult and to maneuver around and because the score boxes cover the parts of the game at the top and to the right. Love them Birds. Takes your power ups at times due to glitches and loading but they give it back on the daily spins with ads. I played since it started and it has changed a bit. I play on diamond level 7-9 back and forth. I’m in first place sometimes 33 place at times but it depends on how you figure out each stage. The winning is really up to you I have tried different things for each bird sometimes you get it and sometimes close is good enough. Play the levels without power ups until you find the highest score then figure out your power ups after to save yourself from loosing time=money

Screwed up a perfectly good game. The new update is awful. Graphics look like a preschooler game. Screen elements are too large, too ugly. Changed merely for the sake of change, not because they make the game better. Opponents in Star cup suddenly gain more points after a round completes. Frequent loss of connection, with an error message asking if I want to “Reject”. Have to close/re-open the game to continue. Some new rounds begin with the score from the last round, even before I’ve thrown a single bird. Occasionally, in Star Cup, my score exactly matches the opponents score...that’s practically impossible. A few times, I’ve seen opponents score 0 points...even negative points. I'm still playing, hoping for the game to be fixed, because I’ve loved the game for years. But I don’t use (and surely wont buy) any power ups since they’re wasted when crap happens. What a crap fest.

Horrible customer service, broken slingshot. I purchased a wishbone slingshot, which is supposed to “cause more damage to every object on the screen,” a direct quote from support. BUT- I’ve done tests on multiple levels and types of objects and have concluded it works the exact same as the normal slingshot. I have purchased a jingle sling as well, which does work as it should. I sent support a message explaining my concerns with the wishbone, but I was sent an automated response and was told there was no issue. I replied back, and my ticket was closed. I began a second support ticket, explaining my frustrations even further, and received the same exact response and my ticket was closed again. For the third time, I asked for someone to actually read my issue, and I think I may have gotten a real person, but I’m unsure because he was just as unhelpful as the first. I then asked for a refund so I could purchase a different slingshot that would hopefully work as it should. I was told that would be unfair to other players. I feel it’s unfair to me that I wasted my money on a slingshot that doesn’t work as advertised. I’ve been playing the Angry Birds games for 10 years and I’m so saddened to see they don’t respect or appreciate the people who keep them in business.

Too many ads, too hard to earn powerups, & technical issues!. I have played AB Friends since it started. I LOVED it! Able to move up according to your skill. A couple years ago I stopped playing bc levels became too complex to win without powerups. They also added more levels so you run out of powerups with the extra levels. Unless you pay real money (I refuse) you can’t compete equally with those players who do. I watch ad after ad after ad, and still can’t get enough powerups to beat each level. I would rather pay a reasonable amount for a fair game than watch all the ads. My fave game has become too frustrating to play as is. Also there’s an issue where after shooting last bird, the “End Level” and “Use Wingman” buttons cover up the playing area while the game is still going, so you can’t see what’s happening and then can’t make a decision on whether to use wingman or end the level. This is happening on my iPad since the last update.

Can't open after last update. Whatever you guys did with the last update, please undo it. I get an Update Available screen. Pressing on the update button opens Safari browser then App Store. In the App Store it shows the cloud to download, if I press on that it says the latest upgrade requires iOS 10 or greater, which I have, but when I press to download then it states I can only download an older version which takes me right back to the Update available screen - it's just a vicious loop. I have repeatedly deleted the game, turned the iPad totally off, have logged in and out of Facebook only to get the same result - can't open the game so I've deleted it and will have to find another game to play with my sister. So disappointed. Your last upgrade for AB POPS messed that game up, too. That'll probably be the next game to be deleted.

I’m ok with friend birds but new things are hard to get. I like friend birds but the problem with it is when I don’t know what to do with the end of the level. And the game makes you think that you can just buy things and the problem is solved but instead of the problem being solved you just can’t get anything new. And being on like level 30 you have 0 new things and you don’t have the money to buy anything new. And then people start making fun of you because you don’t have any type of new slingshot. When you complete friend birds you don’t have anything that is better then the stuff you started off with. Sure that’s impressive but then the game just goes a lot slower then usual.

Goodbye, good riddance. Downloaded the latest version today and it won’t open, I closed it and re-opened it multiple times and it would never open. Decided to delete it and reinstall. Don’t do that unless you’re connected through Facebook or whatever because all the levels I’ve played since this game was introduced are now gone. The tournament before this one the developers started putting in ads when you try to advance to the next game; they also started putting an ad between games in the star cup. I guess they aren't getting enough income from people buying power ups so they have to force you to watch even more ads than you’re already watching. Rovio, I have spent money to buy power ups. I can find more things to do with my money than give you my cash. I can waste my time doing something else besides playing your games. All of your games are now deleted from my tablet.

Angry Birds. The game can get addictive. However the update has ruined the game. Number of times the damage is not consist with the birds you use and that part is frustrating. The new updates have resulted in the game crashing/ freezing up and this leads to you missing out on your high score, on coins and losing your birds, basically you are literally losing money with no return. Mini tournament has a strange and questionable scoring, in which you could score a very high number, with almost nothing left to destroy and then your opponent’s score goes up as soon as you are done, as if you are playing directly against the computer and no matter what you will lose and the hope in the process you spend money for more to upgrade your birds, now add in the game freeze that always occurs after the your score and as stated you lose out on your score and the birds you purchased to get that score. Could be an intentional glitch :(

Player vs Player. In the player vs player mode where there is competition, the thing that I hate is that I will finish my round and supposedly the other player has finished their round, it shows the scores and the person that I am playing against has mysteriously gained tens of thousands of points from somewhere. It’s hard to compete when you don’t know what the actual score is. This problem has gotten worse with the latest updates. The other problem with this game is still the ads. The same old ads over and over for the worst games possible. The crappy farm game. The “Matchingson Mansion” (or whatever the name is). I know that these companies are paying money for these ads but you guys should be able to pick at least some good games/companies to be shown.

Greedy. I have played Angry Birds (and later all the sequels) since it came out more than a decade ago—since before there were powerups. When AngryBirdsNest was where you’d compete against other players and you had to enter your score for each level manually. But no more. I have had enough. I went to play the Star Cup and after I found out I had won but BEFORE I found out WHAT I had won, AN AD CAME ON. Were you not getting enough revenue from selling power-ups? From selling the Mighty Eagle?? From selling people extra birds??? From your eleventy billion Angry Birds and Pig apps???? I draw the line at being shown ads against my will. It’s one thing to have it be optional, like how you can watch an ad to get an extra daily bonus spin. But if I only have 5 minutes and I don’t want to spend 20% of it watching an ad then I can skip it. NO ADS.

Ripoff. Paid $10 for the season pass on Journey without realizing the current season was ending within hours (new user). Literally didn’t use it at all. Emailed support the next day when it wanted me to pay again. When I realized what had happened I owned my mistake but asked for a one-time courtesy as a new player and for the pass to be credited to the current season so I could try it out. Their only response was to helpfully reiterate that there’s a timer in the game that tells you when the season ends. Which… yes, but again it was my first time playing and it’s Angry Birds, sensory overload much? The various seasons and events and sales screens are confusing and overwhelming. In any case I won’t be wasting any more of my money or time on a franchise that only cares about shaking users upside down by the ankles to collect as much pocket change as possible.

Very poor gameplay experience. Have been playing this game for several years - unfortunately over the last 6 months or so there has been a marked deterioration with the gameplay experience. Feeling a little Tense?.......😤. Set your inner child free and fling hapless multicoloured birds at objects to gain gold stars..🤪which as if by magic, become the tender that you use to purchase all of the things that allow you to play the game better....what could be wrong with that?? Play for league placings or just amongst friends...a little friendly rivalry is good for a laugh anytime. There are many levels and many obstacles and many silly laughs along the way. I HIGHLY recommend this game...it is good for the soul 😇

Hi!. Hi! My brother just got this game and he really likes it!!! One problem that he totally hates though😡. He is up to a really really hard level and he can’t get the piggies floating in the air! This is the level 41 and he just can’t pass it and when he was so close he needed a wingman but everything had no colour! Please fix this it’s super irritating 😠

Where are my points?. My game finished about 2 hours ago however the scores were not shown at all, neither were points received. In the league tournament I was coming 3rd and expected to win 1,000 points. I was coming 3rd in the tournament with friends as well.

Crashes. Every time I play in the tournament against one other player it crashes halfway through the game and then you lose against your opponent and lose a life. Very frustrating.

This game is great but to make it even better you and your friends were allowed to create your own Angry Birds level ranging from Scooby doo, Undertale or just create a level based on plain old classic Angry Birds. What a rip off. I paid real money (dollars) to buy the decent catapults and level up to level 9 birds only to find I was logged out and had to restart the game without power ups, with level one birds. But the new game invites me to spend more money. Really?

Truthful review. Used to be a great game where you could spend additional money if you wanted to to. Now ads are forced on you every few minutes. It’s no fun anymore. I’ve no idea why they changed it after so many great years. Money is the obvious answer. This app used to be great. Quite addictive. Now it’s terrible and you can tell they are paying or writing reviews to try and talk it up.

Annoying. This is the third time I have downloaded the game . I reach a level and it freezes . Than I have to download it again and I lose all my coins etc . I’m over it . It is becoming a pain to play will no longer waste my time. Now the game just does not open. I love angry birds but it become a real hassle when you try to load the game as you go up into the higher levels. Please fix it it bugs us. It would seem as you progress you are forced into getting more coins which for anyone who is suckered in is a real losers game.

Oops something went wrong. Too many times that happens the bad thing is you might lose a power up that you’ve paid money to buy. It’s happened to me time and time again I’m at the stage now that I won’t buy any more coins for power ups. I like the game but hate seeing money wasted.

Angry myself!. Since the graphics were changed this game is not even 10% of what it used to be. Things don’t work, scores in the Star Tournament don’t update, it now freezes a lot more than it used to. I have walked away, it’s now just a heap of junk.

Leave well enough alone.. It’s a great little game that enjoy playing but the idea to allow two power ups of each kind was in my opinion a mistake. What’s next 3, 4, unlimited? It doesn’t enhance the play- quite the opposite- and looks simply like an attempt to get users to buy credits.

more tournaments. Please make daily tournaments while most of us in lockdown. Instead of every 2 -3 days. And 10 levels each.

Used to be a great bit of fun.. I used to really look forward to playing this, but the updates over the year have steadily been taking the fun away as they-are all about making more money for the developers sadly. From lowering the rewards and then playing multiple games but only paying out once after a week or more of having to play them all and using up all credits thus making you have to buy credits to remain competitive and keep your position in the cue, now taking the skill away by letting people use multiple power ups in each level, while also making even MORE money for the owners. And dont get me started on allowing cheating to occur...

What?. I don’t know what you guys have done with the latest update, but on my iPad I now have the “Use Wingman” and “End Level” buttons obscuring the view of the lower part of the game. Now you've gone too far. I really enjoy playing this game. You know what else I enjoy? Keeping logged in and retaining my loot. Recently you lost me, made me play your warm ups before I could connect with Facebook and then lost all the coins and powerups that I gained as a ’guest’ even though I logged in (eventually). Then I went to support to try and email you and could not log in because I have forgotten that password I used once about three years ago the last time I had a problem. Star cup brawl not working. Star cup brawl has not been working since early Jan. when I win a level it does not add onto the leaderboard it just says to complete a level to begin. Makes the game pointless. Could I get developer feedback for this problem and also if anyone else is having the same problem.

What gives?. The game keeps crashing after you load up a wing man. Lets you spin if you watch an ad, then says something went wrong and you don’t get your spin or it spins forever until you leave the game. These bugs are irritating.

Big Racket!. This game stopped loading after I played it for many years. I did everything suggested to fix. Ended up losing all my expensive power-ups as well as my levels. DO NOT download this crappy racket of a game!

Can’t log into game. I did the update and like other players I can’t log into the game now. Just like one other player I got to log in only once using the update app icon that's in the App Store but now that isn’t even working. Customer support is 000 so I hope they read this review and correct the problem ASAP. I have built up to having a mini Fort Knox with gold and power ups so I don’t want to lose ANY of it.

Lego ad frustration. That Lego ad makes things unbearable. There’s no way out, makes you click and go to sites and I have not found a way to get through it and actually get the reward for watching the ad. I just quit the app and start over and hope to get a different ad, and lose the reward in the meantime. Super frustrating.

Usually awesome. I don’t know what’s going on, but the last two weeks the app is very buggy and crashing like crazy. It will pull over my “previous results” in the middle of a round and won’t allow me to collapse that and return to the game. Freezes up when collecting things like rewards. Won’t find an opponent for long periods in the tournaments. Offers items like a boombox if you watch a video but doesn’t load anything and freezes. It is currently un-playable for me.

Angrybirds. Best game to play. I don’t need to have others play to give me lives. It resets after each shot and there is no limit to how many shots I take... love this game.. that was the old review... now it’s just a complaint on how awful it is. It’s no fun ... Last update ruined the game. Not sure what you did with that last update but it’s horrible! The last 3 tournaments my coins were awarded but when playing levels they all disappeared again. It says play a level to join the leagues but I haven’t been included in the leagues since the last update. And after every single level it jumps to the “rewards” screen for last tournament and league and freezes there. Can’t play another level without closing the app and restarting. This was my favourite game for years. Today I’m deleting it permanently. TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE FROM THIS APP!

I used it love playing this game However, since all the changes where it is very evident that you need to continue to purchase more and more power ups to win, I feel a real loss of enjoyment for the game. During this COVID-19 pandemic a lot of people have lost everything from family members, their jobs, and the ability to provide for their families. You would hope that a mega company like this would step up and realize that money is short, and playing this game was one way for people to escape and have a little bit fun during these very tiring times.

Didn’t like the “surprised mechanics” they’d showed off in these games.. Colours are splendid, like the magic of the deception. Happy treats, you’ll only receive disparity. Don’t spend a nickel, leaving men in want. 2021 will see an interesting years for this german mobile gaming company. 🤨

Ab friends. I have always loved playing the new levels they create a couple of times a week. Been playing for years. I will probably delete this app now. The new update has put where you choose your power ups at the bottom of the screen instead of the top. I keep accidentally using up my power ups when I try to tap the screen to use the birds super powers. It’s just not as fun when the developers have trained me for years to have them at the top of the screen so I always tapped at the bottom. I guess it is a way to get people to buy more power ups. It’s too bad, I’m gonna miss playing this with my morning coffee.

Ads OMG. what the heck has happened here? I’ve been playing this game for 10 years and the ads have recently got so bad you can’t get out of them! You get the same page over and over. Plus, less gametime in between the annoying ads! Don’t they realize the ads make me NOT want to buy the app? I understand the need for ads. But come on! You can’t get out of the ad! Please stop this!!!! Please!

Star Cup. I generally enjoy Angry Birds Friends and would have given it a higher rating. But I find it bogus when playing the Star Cup. You can progress levels as long as you keep beating your opponent. The game will give you anywhere from 1-4 rounds to play with a random opponent. Often when I get to the last round, I will get a message that says “oops, something went wrong. Try later.” When I return to the game, it always bumps me back down to level one. At level one you don’t receive as many reward points as say level 3 and so on. So the game gyps me of points for this quite often. Please fix!

Unable to connect. Since the most recent update, I along with many other players have not been able to connect to the game and play. As of today’s date, it’s been almost one week. I miss my daily rounds of Angry Birds Friends. I cannot locate any other method of contact. Not even via the App Support link, and no option to message via Facebook. And those commenting on Facebook are being completely ignored. Great game, support however, is lacking.

Coins collected are disappearing. I started noticing that coins I was collected after advancing through levels were looking “off” and started screenshooting the phone after I completed levels to make sure I wasn’t losing it and confirmed I was definitely losing points for no reason. I’ve just played two levels, gained a total of 16 points and LOST a total of 12 when I returned to the Home Screen!! WTH rovio!!! That is so uncool!! I’m aware that these free download games tweak the game to incentivize purchasing power ups, but this is straight up shady behavior. I reached out to the support team after I first spotted this issue a week or so ago and never received a response at all. Now after seeing it continue today, I’m definitely deleting the game. So shady.

This could’ve been 5 stars. Why are people allowed to use extra power ups in battles it makes every game pay to win, you are already provided power ups in that mode so making it possible to use extra power ups is extremely unfair to players that can’t buy extra power ups. It makes it nearly impossible to win, I’ve been playing for about a month now and the farther you get the more people who do that. I’m about to get rif of the games be because it’s so unfair.

Angry birds friends. Would have given it a -5 star rating if I could. I have been playing for three years was in diamond league s 5&6 for some time , had all the sling shots & numerous power ups. Yesterday morning (April 18/18) all was fine , by early afternoon ALL was gone & I was almost completely put back to square one. Tried to find out what was happening to no avail. Never mind Angry Birds, I’m an ANGRY Player. Luckily I never spent real money on any of your “Sales” as did some of the other players. This is basically the same review as before. I received your email & followed your instructions on connecting to Facebook and nothing changed. I’ve been playing for the past week, basically from the beginning; none of my slingshots,barely any bird coins and hardly any power ups compared to what I previously had. So what can you do to reinstate all that? Thank you for finally fixing the problems. The only thing remaining is there doesn’t seem to be any other players in this league. Although it is difficult to get to your support team; when I do at least you fix most of the issues. So for that I’ll give you a 4 star rating.

What has happened to Angry Birds Friends?. Before they did their latest version of ABF I loved playing and logged several hours a week. Now I am very frustrated with slow response when ordering from the store-many times my episode has timed out while I have been purchasing boosters to improve my score, the birds don’t seem as powerful and when trying to view your overall score to see how you are placed, it takes forever to get a response. The wheel spins round and round until you finally get your overall score. Also, the constant advertisements for other bird games is very irritating. You can’t get rid of them when tapping the back button to replay your level. Am I the only one having these issues?

You have ruined this game. Bad enough you screwed up the game with that ridiculous update that wasn’t even necessary. There are still issues, but I have enjoyed the game since inception so I dealt with it. But these extra boosters are the last straw. Great money maker for your greedy company, but it has ruined the need to figure out how to best play the level. You just have to use 8 or 9 boosters a level. Where is the challenge in that? Haven’t played in almost a month and will not until you restore the game to its original greatness. Although I miss playing, if it’s not a level playing field where everyone has one booster of each type, then I am out. As a top fan it makes me sad that you have done this to the game. My next step is to delete the game.

Need help. Update: this is the third time since I have been playing this game that I have lost almost all my coins. The last time I played two days ago I had around 25,000 coins and now I have just over 1000. What’s the deal? Also here’s my old review, I have liked this game for years. Now I can’t play it on my new Apple laptop and when I play it on my iPad when I transferred to Facebook I clicked to have everything transferred. I transferred my game but I did not transfer any of my coins or any of my power of characters. I know what I had how do I get them? Can you load them for me?

The ads are horrible. I understand you wanting to play an ad but after the ad has played for its 15-30 seconds I should be able to close out of it, not get an arrow that opens my App Store to download the game. If I wanted the game I’d get it. I enjoy playing Angry Birds but I don’t play nearly as often due to the pushy ads. I almost feel bullied into watching them because they’re presented even when I don’t ask for the upgraded bird or to get the extra power slingshot or whatever the case. The app is too reliant on ads & not allowing you to close out of after it’s ran its course.

Great game till now. Loved this game till this week, haven’t been able to access for a few days now, seems an error with the sever. Changes please. Well I weathered the loss of 5000 coins and some of my power ups after the game froze recently. And thanks for the free stuff as payback. This new thing is much worse really than all that. Instants after the last bird is shot off, those two signs pop right up, “ use ..” “round over” whatever. So you cannot see what’s left behind them to decide whether to use a power up. This is so irritating. Please fix that. Thanks for all you do! 2/7/22

Keeps freezing up have to restart my iPad when it does. This game is ok, not a good game for friends because you play it for an hour then nobody wants to try and beat you so you end up not playing for the rest of the week, and vise a versa if someone keeps winning every week you just can't get any coins so there is no sense in even trying, so you might try at it but there are better games in the angry bird family to play, and spend time beating, needs other ways to get coins and better pay offs, so you can use more of the special upgrades, and more different upgrades. So I give it 2 stars, I also agree that the wingman needs to be moved, so you don't hit it by accident.

About done with it. I have been playing for years, but lately it’s become so frustrating I’m about ready to stop playing. They have made the games too difficult to finish without using lots of power-ups. And the power-ups don’t have the power they used to have. Plus, after using the power-ups to complete the game, I frequently get cut off and lose them. 3 times tonight I have tried to get the power bird and 3 times it has kicked me off the game and I have to re-boot, losing everything I had. Come on - this is supposed be fun! Instead it’s getting very frustrating and it’s turning me into an Angry Bird! Change the format or I’m outta here.

Upsetting!. I absolutely love AB Friends. It’s my favorite game, and I play quite a few. 😜 I have played it for well over 3 years, and play several times a day. However, there is one think I just hate about the game, and it appears to be inconsistency. One week I can max out every level, be #4 or 5, and earn coins, and increase on my level. The next week, I still totally max out every level, and lose 20 points! There seems ZERO rhyme or Reason! Any help or thoughts on this matter! I really think it’s just planned like this... so you’re really kinda screwed!

Angrier than birds. I have been playing this game for years. The latest update is not a good one and may be the worst one yet. The birds seem to gave lost some power and doesn’t cause as much damage since this latest update. Also, they have enlarged the “use wingman” and “end level” at the bottom right of the screen so you cannot see the bottom of the playing field. So, if you missed a pig, if it’s at the bottom right of the screen, you can’t see it. The “end level””use wingman” pop up needs to be moved to the very bottom of the screen and minimized so it does not affect the playing field.

Disappointed... ...and more than just a little angry. I have had and played this game for a couple of years. I had reached the Diamond 4level with around 20,000 coins and was really enjoying the game on the verge of purchasing a power pack then was greeted with the window telling me to update the game. I tried and tried (I do not have a Facebook page and NEVER will!) so I tried the other instructions and THEY DID NOT WORK...EVER. I even took my iPad to my local Mac store and they couldn’t get it to upgrade either and the screen would not allow me to contact you either. They suggested to delete the app and reload it. Well, yeah, I lost EVERYTHING..my accomplished level and my 20,000 coins, so thanks for nothing! What a wonderful Christmas present to me!

Out of here!. As soon as I burn up my 357 points, I’m done. Your new graphics are amateurish and I’m fed up of the game leaving me as I’m trying to download power ups to be able to improve my score. In the head to head competition, you don’t accurately show the competitors score until it’s racked up. I’ll find something else to spend my money on. I no longer can tell how many weeks I have played, you probably can. That was some months ago, you’ve worked hard to get rid 9f glitches. Thanks!

Where are my you know powers w/‘56. Great relaxing game, I will defeat them, I am hopeful that I will be able to get all the slings the stone knife the bouncy tree plus all the other goodies , I paid like 600 to app and then you changed the game. When I booted it up I was shocked to see I had no more things I could use I bought the m and won something would be great if you give me. Exactly what I had before you changed it without letting me know.

Current status. I have enjoyed this game for quite awhile. But since the upgrade which was weeks ago it is not working properly. It has been very slow, I have lost power ups and the most rent thing was I completed the tournament (6 games) that has been running this past week. Now my scores are all gone except it shows one star in the first game. So I’m frustrated & don’t feel like checking daily. It means as much as I enjoyed it now is the time to give it up. I have played all but one of the Angry Birds apps except Bad Piggies & I didn’t like it. This is how you lose customers & get ppl to talking about problems w/it.

Not a fan. I’m relatively new to playing Angry Birds, but I find this game very disappointing. The power ups which I did spend money to get are lame and don’t work very well. It’s frustrating to get stuck on the same level and play it over and over again. I understand ads and normally don’t mind them but if you go for the free spin, you’re forced into an ad that takes you to the App Store several times before you can return to the game. This last time it wouldn’t let me go back to the game so I had to shut my phone down and started back up. That’s just ridiculous as soon as I’ve used up the power ups I purchased deleting the game.

Angry again!. I’m at level 753 Boss level and I have spent quite a few gems trying to get past it but I can’t. You have made it nearly impossible to go forward any further. I have quite a few power ups that I can’t use in this level that I need to go forward. I feel ripped off. I am not going to buy any more gems from you and I can’t take your game off because I would also lose the money I have spent for the power ups that I have left. Shame on you for making this game a little more challenging than it needs to be so that we have no choice but to buy more gems from you to move forward in the boss level!

Don’t bother trying. Been playing this game for years and I feel now I need to say something. IF you pay for power ups this will matter, I watch the high score and the name of the other players and week after week I watch as I go from first to last as I’ll in the middle of playing. I reach the High score on any one board while using all options of power ups and I beat the high score number and then look to see how far in the lead I am and I’m now in 5/6/7th place. My point is (it’s a game) but the point in to win to get more power ups and if you BUYING power ups your wasting your money because you can never win and will have to PAY instead of winning..

Unity Cookie Advertisement Bad. An ad for a company called UnityAds comes on and never closes, I’ve had to shut the game off to get rid of it. Their selling a service called Unity Cookie that organizes your cookies. Seems very virussy to me. No other problems, love the g.....well maybe a suggestion. Give bigger rewards for winning the VS matches, its not worth using a booster on VS because you’ll never win those coins back. Spend 60 coins and win 4 coins back. Love ABF and I have been playing almost all the AB games since you were born.

Weak at its best. Rovio really stopped caring about producing quality games in favor of just making ad revenue with this one. There are a rather limited number of solo player levels and they are repeated in the multiplayer challenges. There is no reward for three starring all of them. Video ads are rampant, repetitive, and boring. You need power ups to achieve decent scores which require coins that either cost you real money or to watch even more ads. Game locks up far too often. I’m using an iPhone X with tons of extra memory so it’s not my hardware. This is a good download for about a week or two if you can tolerate the ads but it’s not proving to be a keeper.

Needs some tweaking. Enjoy the game but one of the biggest issue I have with it is that I can not zoom in. There is a magnifying glass that will zoom in a tiny bit but not much at all. Playing on my phone, the birds are so small that you can’t even see which bird you have in the slingshot. Other smaller issue is that, when you earn new birds, if doesn’t inform you of what their power is. I think they are the same as the original but that’s been a while so I don’t remember what those were. Any new players wouldn’t know at all. Although, I can’t tell which bird I have anyway so I guess I wouldn’t know what power I’m playing with so…

My favorite game but needs improvements. This is me and my mom’s favorite game we play it every week. But we don’t like that we get 150 coins instead of 200 I’m the friend tournament I mean was it really hurting you to give us 50 more coins. Plus we really liked last tournament we there was 8 games instead of 6. You all should make it like that every time. And sometimes we don’t get our free spends because it messes up. But other than those 3 things we love this app!

New update needs a TON of fixing. There is no improvement with the new update, only severe regression! I’ve been playing daily for years and I’m considering quitting completely if this isn’t fixed. The game itself is significantly slower than it used to be. The birds can’t be shot as quickly and just the amount of time it takes to load a game has increased. I’m done with the star cup too until that gets fixed. I was literally up by 1 million points on an opponent ten moved on to the next level and they had inexplicably gotten ahead of me! Additionally, I was watching a video to get a power up in the star cup and the app completely shut down...I had won 4 in a row going on 5 and it made me start from the beginning because of a glitch without me even losing! Unacceptable.

Another spend your money game. I wouldn’t mind a game that cost X amount of money and lets you play continuously. Angry birds friends has joined the other games with a pay continually or else you lose. If you decide not to spend all your money, and forgo the ‘extras’ (extra birds and boosters) you will have a low score and not earn enough free coins at the end of the match. Your low score continues, the lack of free coins continues, and the fun factor decreases. IF you like to spend your hard earned money, (or waste your hard earned money) buy the extras needed to complete the game, maybe you will enjoy this game. A lot will depend on how nice the computer wants to be to you.

Game won't open…. April 2019 - game won't load. Gets to 90% then stops and asks me to check my connection. Which is, of course, absolutely fine and works for everything else. Getting a message telling me I'll have to login through Facebook after the update but THERE'S NO UPDATE. What am I supposed to do now? This is the last of the Angry Birds I'm willing to play and it looks like this is going down, too. I used to be your biggest fan and I'm sad you've ruined every game one by one… ************** Game is loading now but i thought of one thing that could be adjusted - the level ends the SECOND the last pig is smashed; it doesn't wait for all the still falling debris to hit the ground. Often the points earned from collateral damage are the difference between first and second place. As of 11am today, game is freezing on the Loading screen. Now to all those low-rankers out there - get freaking Facebook already. You're like the passive aggressive blowhards in the '90's who refused to watch Seinfeld. You're obviously using the Internet if you're even here posting a complaint. Get over yourselves and either get Facebook or play something else.

Question!!!. I’m sure you guys are working on the issue regarding “connecting to facebook”, the last time this happened, it got resolved in less than 24 hours (less than 12 hours if i remember correctly) This time, it has been more or almost 2 days. A specific friend isn’t showing up. I disconnected from Facebook on The Angry Bird app l, then I went into Facebook and disconnected the game from there THEN I logged completely out of Facebook both the app and the browser. I tried connecting to Facebook on the angry bird app again logged into Facebook and everything and my friend still wasn’t showing up on my friends list on angry birds. The weird thing is, is that I’m showing up on his list. I don’t see him but he can see me which is making me very frustrated. I tried everything and he’s still not showing up and yes we are friends on Facebook. WHAT IS GOING ON????

I love this game. I love this game. It’s a favorite of mine and one of the many apps I play regularly. Lately though I have been having a hard time playing it. Every time I finish a level and click the arrow to go to the next level it shows me my winnings from the week prior and the arrow to go back doesn’t work. This means I now have to leave the game to play the next level. I have deleted it and downloaded it again to only continue having the same problem. Please fix this glitch so that we can play this game with no other problems.

Classic!. This game has me filled with nostalgia from the previous games, and has the same physics that they took away in Angry Birds 2. Speaking of classic, Rovio, I know you’ve been getting this question a whole lot, but... can you please place your original games back in the market? I really enjoyed playing them and it’s what brought your popularity up in the first place. Until then, this game is as close as I can get to the original Angry Birds, and I’ll keep playing away as many levels as I can! But lend us the classics again pretty please we loved them...

Agree with “Out of Many One”. I absolutely AGREE with the statement made by the person who wrote “Out of Many One”; when it comes to cheating!!! That is why I gave you guys 1 star!! I’ve been playing all of the Angry Birds Game Collection for several years every since my adult children got me hooked on the games. But I will admit that this one is by far is my favorite! My only problem/complaint is the cheating. I’ll be playing along in the game & be placed in the top 5 & all of of sudden be kicked done to the low 30...👎😡! The only way that can possibly happen is if someone is cheating! You guys really need to take a look at that & 🛑 STOP IT FROM HAPPENING. That is why I agree with the other person who also stated that fact as well. Until you fix this problem you WON’T be getting a 5 star 🌟 review from me!

Great game but does go white screen sometimes and causes me to lose game. I love this game. Very entertaining. Sometimes when trying to extra moves or items it will strait running the commercial and then white or black screens and won't come back. Causes me to lose that move and probably the game. Happens on my iPad mini only. iPhone has been just fine. But the game is great and I have a lot of fun with it despite an occasional glitch. That won't stop me from playing !!! Have fun with it and tell your friends to join !!!!

Love the game BUT they need to fix slow app. I have been playing this game for a while now. It has never been so awful. It takes forever to update your scores. Also when you use a bonus bird or the slingshot sometimes it won’t activate and you lose it all together. They keep saying we’re working on it but it doesn’t get better. I have seen the I’m sorry notices but you would think they could fix it faster. If not they need to hire new staff. The notifications have been several and over many months. I am a devoted Angry Birds fan but I am even losing my patience. I try to give an opportunity to fix before I voice my frustrations.

Good, could be better. I was addicted to playing this everyday, but I haven’t played it in quite a while since I have all the coins I could ever want and nothing to spend them on. I’d like to see skins for the birds, or something interesting to spend them on. I do wish Rovio would release the old angry birds, the original version. This is the closest to that I could find (except for angry birds Rio, which has been removed from the App Store but my mom still has it on her phone somehow lol) but I’d like to play the old one again. It was much more fun in my opinion, not quite as challenging, but more interesting.

Dont add too many visual effects. update: the most recent update added animations into the menus when you get coins. Please keep this game simple. AB Friends is superior to AB2 bc of its simplicity. Please don’t add the grotesque pig death animations and chaotic graphics into this game as you did with AB2. I got this game to play over the holidays and It’s been smooth on my 6S and fun. I love the leaderboard challenges and themed levels. The only annoying thing is the ads. I would do an IAP to get rid of them but can’t find any info on whether or not a purchase takes away ads.

Lousy new update/finally fixed. I have been enjoying this game for years. Yesterday when I signed in all my high scores were gone like I had not played any of the tournaments. I checked & saw there was an update, so I proceeded to update the app NOW I can't even open the game. Keeps saying server error. I noticed many people are complaining about the newest update. Please fix ASAP UPDATE: Finally able to get into app & play. Frustrated that I lost high scores that took power ups to get. Had to use more power ups to replay. App seems to working well (for now)

Losing power ups. When I purchase power ups with bird coins I have won I haven’t received them or when I get ready to use one it clears and I lose it! It also takes a long time when I choose one to use to activate it. The last thing I mentioned is really the least of my concerns. The first one when I lose coins I’ve won is the most annoying and aggravating. Thank you for letting me vent! I love this game but have threatened to quit playing due to losing coins or power ups

Unfair levels. I’ve been playing Angry Birds Friends since the beginning. I loved that there were new levels every week. It seems lately that the levels have become ridiculously difficult, not only because you need power ups to complete many levels, but some are so difficult that you lose power ups just trying to complete the levels. It’s pretty sad that last week I only got 3 stars on a few levels and no stars on 2 and still ended up in the top twenty. I’m on diamond level 5. It’s not fun anymore

All good things must come to an end. I was with Angry Birds from the beginning, then went with Angry Birds Friends, tried AB 2, but the charge for in-app purchases was outrageous. AB Friends updated one too many times last week. Since then I have been cheated out of points, wins/stars - particularly in the Gold Cup add-on. The scores have been all over the place. Oftentimes my opponents don‘t show a score at all (as in 0 stars) during the actual game and then “at the final reckoning” suddenly and incomprehensibly are way ahead. It won’t be easy to turn my back on AB after so many years, but once my present coins are used up, I’ll delete AB from my tablet and smartphone.

Deceptive update. After the latest update and patches, the Star Cup functions much differently. I feel the motive for this is to get us to use (read: ‘pay for’) more power ups to defeat the opponent. If I am ahead in a Star Cup level and end it, the opponent’s score will invariably increase by tens or hundreds of thousands and take over high score, as soon as the ‘tally’ screen appears. The conclusion I come to is that, after I stop the game, AngryBirds allows the ‘opponent’ to still use the Wingman and/or Boombox in order to increase their score. It’s a pernicious and deceptive change geared, I’m sure, towards making us pay for more power ups. Sure, I know there is no true real-time opponent, but that’s fine - - it’s just a game. But now I think this game has become less trustworthy.

Stress reliever!!. I can't begin to tell you how distressed I feel after I start playing Angry Birds friends takes my mind off everything I concentrate on the game I love the graphics the noise everything about the Angry Birds keep the new games coming give us more tournaments then 2 a week!! It's a blast The only thing wrong is it gives gold coins if you r the first second or third one in the beginning of a new round that finishes a game but you never get those coins it never gets added to your balance

Crashing. All week when I use my helper things wingman etc it crashes. I had like 3 or 4 wingman and 4 or 5 of the others a piece. Do you know how hard it is to get those and hang onto them just to have the game itself strip them from you? This game all of the sudden is bad. I am starting to hate it. Guess I will hang it up for a few days. I am so mad. I know some claim it is just a game but these makers of the games put such emphasis on what you have to work on with and it's first month I didn't pay for these coin things. Hmm. ------Well it's January and this game is still crashing and I am not spending one dime on this game until it is fixed. I advise everyone to do the same if it is crashing on you too.

I’m sad. This used to be one of the most fun and consistent games of the angry birds franchise. I could play, compete and be entertained every week. Lately it seems like the developers don’t want to do this game anymore. It connects and disconnects me to Facebook, they apologize and send boosters but then you don’t actually get the boosters. Also, it’s been glitching out so much, that I can’t even earn enough of the game coins to get boosters either. This isn’t the first time this has happened either because when I first played the game, I earned several slingshots and more but then one day they were gone. Hopefully they can see how loved this game is and can get it to the fun it used to be.

I Rarely Rate a Game, But...UPDATED. I just lowered my rating because I switched to a new device and lost all my rankings, 3 slingshots, and almost everything. Kept my power ups, I think. But it has cost me over $20 to get a slingshot and more bird coins. ALL BECAUSE I’M NOT ON FACEBOOK. From original review: There is no such thing as a perfect online game, but Angry Birds ranks right up there with the best. It provides hours of entertainment for a (in my opinion) very reasonable cost. It's good, clean, non-violent (except for the poor piggies) fun.

Something is not right with cheats. The star cup is pretty much a cheat that gives the so called other player you’re against far more points than you can get even with a great run. It’s not often but it’s pretty obvious that the point spread is a bit too much, also some stages when you do get more points than the other player it still gives them the win. It’s not because they scored more after you get done because you can see the score at the end of the stage or wait a while and they aren’t gaining anymore points but at the end when it Tallies the score it takes your win away like it switched who got the most points. All in all this game cheats just watch for yourself to see.
