Sun Up to Sun Down. The App is simple and easy to use. Very user friendly and chucked full of visual information.. Very Good ... The only visual information it lacks in my opinion is the UV index ... I rate thus App 4/5

Works great! Tells you where the sun will be all day. I used this app to help design a room to achieve maximum natural light. It worked perfectly and helped out a lot!

Wonderful app. This app provides a number of features that are helpful in the field of physics and astronomy. And all for free! Highly recommend.

Useful. Great app for my physics project! Really helped me locate the sun and make sure that I took my sunset pictures at just the right time of day. Even the free version lets you use some of the paid for features. It was really good for my science class.

The compass is always off. Every time I open I have to recalibrate and it doesn’t matter how many times I do the figure 8 it just doesn’t want to point north where north is. It basically makes it useless to me (and I am not near any magnets!)

Clever sun visualization tool. I was not expecting the gyroscopic 3D sun tracker. It's very cool. You really get the idea of how the sun moves throughout the day and even the year. Be careful: trying this app will make you want the full version immediately!

App Very Useful For Astronomy Project. This app was very useful in terms as knowing where the sun is going to be at a given time. I was able to use the app in order to determine the exact location of the sun. Overall very useful, thank you.

Great for planning summer and fall gardens. I am planning a garden at my new house and this app is helping me figure where the sun will be next summer. Because I am in a shady area I need to have the right angles to have a chance.

Very cool!. This is a review of the Lite version, the full currently costs about $6 USD. The 3D Compass is a very neat toy to help locate the sun. The details of the sun position can be very useful for everything from picnicking, to hunting/fishing, to photography. The help file is a bit lacking. There are a few features on the compass not properly detailed in the file. If you're looking for app to track the sun, this will work fine.

Solar forecasts. Really helps me predict how much and when my solar panels will generate Electricity.

Lite version totally unusable. Live, street, and map view needs upgrade to full version to function. Lite version only shows dots and general proximity of the sun in the entire city. Useless unless you upgrade, but you can’t be sure how the full version works so risk is there.

Very useful. Very useful, good for predicting where the sun is going to be. Would recommend it's, especially for a science class. Can't wait to use it more, thanks to the developers for creating a good free version

Azimuth incorrect?. I may be reading the information incorrectly, but the azimuth calculated appears to be incorrect. I input a given date and time in the app and also in the US Naval Observatory website and the NOAA website. The elevations agree but the azimuth on the app is different from the ones calculated on the two websites. The rest of the app works great! Please provide a fix.

Best in class. Simply the best app for sunrise, sunset, twilight, blue hour, sun position, etc. Visual and list form. Not just for photographers and solar professionals, great for birdwatchers and setting up camp! I like it so much I upgraded to the paid version even though I didn't need the extra features!

Landscape photography. For my landscape photography work in the past, I have had to rely on charts from the naval observatory and a regular compass. This app makes my work much easier!

Sun off by more than 10 degrees. This app is very nice, except for the fsct that the sun is reading more than 10 degrees to the left than where it actually is in the sky. Other astronomy apps I use give the correct azimuth reading. There is no way the sun can be at solar noon at azimuth 163 degrees. It always is at 180, unless the app takes into consideration your street’s orientation from true north??? Not worth buying the full version until this can get resolved, if another app update wver gets pushed out, that is...

Great app!. This is such a cool app! There are so many things that you can do with it. My favorite part is the 3D compass where you can tell exactly where the sun is at any time. You can even use your camera, and if you point it at the sun, it will tell you exactly where the sun is going.

Garden perfect. I have a pretty good sized garden and by using this app, I found that it has responded to the changes made by studying and analyzing the sun position, sunrise n sunset, etc. great app, good job guys... my veggies thank you.

Useless unless u pay. Can't set location in free version unless u don't mind the app permanently tracking u through GPS. I assume the pay version unlocks that feature.

Legit so far.. As a photographer shooting outdoors, I just need to know when the sun is coming up and going down. This does that cleanly and simply. 👌🏽

Why did this update stop working?. Good app made bad by the latest update. On both my iPod (current version) and my iPad (Air2) both say the update is not compatible with my device. Both are 128GB devices. 😐

Love app hate spam. Love the app. Got a message that l could not delete it took my to site that implied it was an apple run site that offered a prize. Was suspicious but as it was from the App Store and looked like apple l proceeded got spammed. 30 emails and endless phone calls. 3 hours to unsubscribe

What happened?. I used to love this app for planning photo shoots. But something has changed with maps. Now I cannot move to place the target where I want. And when I try the map goes all over the place. It's hopeless. Also earlier in the year I wanted to plan my sunset and sunrise shoots in New York and it gave me the time as my local time in Australia. Completely useless. It used to give you the local time at the shoot location rather than the time of your current position. Too much tinkering with what was a really useful app. But I assume all the other features still work so I giving it 3 stars. Please return to the old version. Thanks

Sun surveyor. I am a professional builder I really like this app as, With the option of the Equinox, simply slide through the sun options down the bottom and they come up in the view mode in the camera this is a very handy tool when plotting house orientation on a block

Needs a fix. When you are indoors and there is no gps reception the program gives wrong sun direction. Can this be fixed to not use true north when there is no gps ?

Disappointing. In spite of several calibration attempts, the compass is still reversed. Says I'm facing south when I was facing north. Disappointing.

Locked down version. This is rather a demo of the full version (which looks great), but all the functionalities are locked down, which makes it a useless demo. I would much rather a 7 day trial of the full version instead. I needed to test offline usage (saved position for later use without internet access) to see whether the full version would be suitable for my needs, since I have neither cellular features nor GPS on my device, but I couldn’t even do that because absolutely everything is locked down in this “lite” version.

Meh.. Lite version has a dialog box that obscures everything which renders it unusable. Bah-leted.
