After the storm.. We have no electricity. All we have is our phones and we’re trying to find out what’s going on. We’re at tropical storm status now I have no information. I also should add there’s a down power pole right in front of my house. They told me to call them. if it starts sparking my problem with 6 is why are they gonna let us know when things are going to start happening? I downloaded this app and it tells me absolutely nothing. Disappointing

Best Information. I won't watch any weather or news but WKMG 6. The weather and weather app with chief meteorologist Tom Sorrels and Fellow meteorologists are right on with their weather predictions. There is no one else to watch!!

I would give it five stars if it would run Landscaped!!!!!. My #2 app for weather in general and my #1 for keeping up with Hurricanes. But I don’t always look at it on my phone. A lot of times I will use my iPad therefore the “ask” for landscape. Otherwise it is great. I live in Titusville, Fl and this is very helpful.

The BEST hurricane app!. Living in Florida you want the most up to date information and easiest to understand in a seconds time. This app is perfect! I have used it through many hurricane seasons and when I want to see what’s going on, this app is the only one I choose!

Best Hurricane App Available. This app is awesome and keeps me updated on all changes to weather. I have used all the other stations apps to compare so I could use the best one. This one is far and away the best.

Location. May absolute favorite feature is the blue dot! I work both in & outside, so being able to check the radar & know where I am is so helpful!

Best hurricane coverage. App is easy to navigate and loads fast. The only station that consistently covers all counties, not just famous ones, with specific info. Highly accurate. And just the best team to watch live. Thank you for this app.

App suggestion. It would be cool to be able to tap the dot next to the spaghetti model track’s name and have that track prominently displayed on the map above. The colors are a little difficult to distinguish sometimes.

Bad app. App does not always reset properly. During Dorian, map showing hurricane became stuck on an old “update” map and there was no way to clear it. Even after closing the app, when next opening it, it was still stuck displaying the same old frame. Useless.

Dorian. I read Tom’s updates on this big storm hourly. It is so good to be able to depend on someone to keep us updated with the latest changes. Tom Sorrells is an expert when it comes to hurricanes. We always keep our tv tuned into him until the power goes out. Great job Tom!!

Hurricane App. I used this app all through Dorian and never missed an update except in the middle of the nite! This app was very helpful and I knew what was happening when I wasn’t able to watch on or social Media! I also have pinpoint weather app And channel 6 news app!

The BEST. The most wonderful way to deal with the anxiety of an approaching Hurricane. I have checked this app every time that the predictions have come out from the National Hurricane Center. Evacuated but informed. I appreciated the updates even though I was traveling north. I was worried about those that I left behind, and you kept me up-to-date all the way.

Essential App. I depend on the PinPoint app to keep me informed about what is happening in the tropics. When a hurricane threatens central Florida I am checking the app many times a day. To make the app better I suggest you add the date and time to the update.

Better Weather Tool than those better known. Whoever wrote and designed this easy to use yet super intuitive and informational app was a genius!

Great app. Sometimes there are too many updates of hurricanes that are out in the ocean. I want information on hurricanes that are heading near or towards land. It almost becomes like the boy who cried wolf. I love that we get up to date information. I wish I could select which ones I want.

Hurricanes. This is the only hurricane I watch because I know that Tom does not sensational the storms. I can trust that what Tom says is not blown out of proportion and just his honest thoughts of where the storm is going. Before it retired I was the disaster recovery officer for a community bank and one of my responsibilities was to keep my staff safe from the storms which is why I always trusted Tom and his team!

Hurricane season watch. It made me the family weather man - since I am retired I kept watch the whole season to keep them informed while they were at work on any approaching systems.

The Tropics Watch pic has no storm names!. Why don’t you name what is in the Tropics Watch pic when we open the App! We don’t know what is what … Would be helpful! 😏 And the Radar should go back to the main screen like it used to be.

“Just as predicted”. This app has everything you need to stay on top of storms. Easy to use and not overwhelmed with maps and models. The News6 meteorologists write their own brief synopsis of what to expect and it’s cut and dry. No boosheeit!

I love channel 6 here in Central Florida Community. All the staff really convey a friendly and welcoming on TV environment. I feel as though they are working for their community 1st and then the paycheck. Other features. The local radar feature let me see when rain is coming over my location and is leaving my location I can also see storms over Payson Arizona where my sister lives

Kept us in touch with the world during Irma. Even though Spectrum failed us before the storm even started and for 9 days after, we were able to use this app to stay informed and safe and know what was happening in the world around us.

We got hit with our first hurricane down south , and we were were a little hesitant about our move . Bit this app help us to follow every minute of Dorian , and helped us to get ready ,make a plan and know what to expect. Reliable. I downloaded after a mention during a newscast during a trip to Florida ( actually needed and referred to during an evacuation - there for a major conference). I have use extensively for 2 + years and it’s been extremely reliable. Let’s just say I refer to it before I see weather mentioned on a major weather channel. Thank you

Hurricane App. Gives me information as to how close Dorian is to our house. Gives me an idea how far eye is to our location. I called and asked if information shown on app was decimal part of a degree or was it showing minutes. Was told it showed a decimal part of a degree.

Best way to track the tropics. I love this app. Great up to date info that keeps me in the know when storms are approaching. I cannot imagine going thru the season without it.

Deeda Frank. If my grandfather was here he would totally love this app! As a small business plant nursery owner in south Miami, he religiously tracked hurricanes in the 50s and 60s on large hand drawn tracking maps. This app is so easy to get quick accurate information about those weather threats. As a Floridian I check it daily, and think of Deeda Frank when I do.

No Landscape. I have used this app for a couple of years and it had an option to click on the map and it could be viewed in landscape. This is no longer an option. Why?

Too Much. 3 short reports plus the regular news is Enough quit taking all the shows off the TV keep off the same crap over and over all

Disappointed. I really like this app as a go to hurricane tracker. However for some reason the ability to view horizontally is no longer capable. It used to be. would LOVE to see that capability come back in an update. That would be a 5 star review.

Necessary App. When you live in an area where there are annual hurricanes that could possibly impact your livelihood, this app keep you apprised of all developing storms well in advance of when they might make landfall. Easy to understand and use, and has alerts so you don’t need to check it unless you get such an alert. Highly recommended.

My Go-To Tropics Monitor. I have used Pinpoint Hurricane Tracker for a couple of years. I've shared it with coworkers all over Florida. It is easy to use and I love it. This app kept me out of Puerto Rico twice, once for approaching Irma and most important for Maria as she headed west. Thank you!

Great free hurricane map/forecast. I started using this app while in the Orlando area and there was a storm out in the Atlantic. Now I use it even to watch the after affects of hurricanes that come on land. They do affect the weather way inland.
