Needs improvement. A great app that has the potential to corner the gps market with a few revisions. I find a couple of minor flaws that should be fixed in an app that you pay for. I'd pay 10x the price for a few revisions. 1. You can't set your default units in the app - defaults to meters 2. You can't change the barometric display - you get kPa that's it 3. Needs to function when you are not connected to WiFi 4. Put the compass in the foreground on downloadable maps from US govt sources

Would love to have an accumulative altitude gain in a day.. It's pretty accurate and really like the GPS coordinates down to a needle almost.

0788. This is one of my most valuable apps. It does almost anything. Weather, barometric pressure, weather forecast, weather warnings, GPS altitude, GPS compass, sunrise sunset, etc. etc. If your in the mountains much you will not regret getting this app. All I can say is try it you'll love it!

Altimeter Multifunction App. This is one of my favorites. I am pretty picky. It does quite a bit for its size. Great Job 👍🏼

Absolutely best!. This is one of my favorite applications, as a traveler, and replaces really three apps with a net gain against storage space in my iPhone. I love it!

Meters feet and miles. I agree with SteveCB1. Perfect except it keeps putting me back to meters. Yet the StepCounter uses only yards and miles!!! Great app.

Good and basic. I am comfortable and happy with the information I get from this app. Gets the job done. But can do without the error messages popping up.

Limited. There is no tutorial available. It says “updated constantly” and “coming soon” on the same page. I have not tried it on a hike but the coordinates appear correct

Not maintained. I’ve had this app we’re probably five years and most of it still doesn't work. Weather doesn't work, distance calculator doesn't work, putting in a place for the compass doesn't work only thing that seems to work is gps and altitude and I have the pro version.

Functions don’t work. Continue to get CM ERROR DOMAIN ERROR 105 when I open app. Step data, weather data don’t open and search kicks you out of app completely. App Support??? Nice layout but it would be nice if all features worked.

App broken. The recent update seems to have broken the app. The next update did not correct the problem.

GPS Pro ... does not work.. I paid for PRO. When I got a new phone Xr it does not work. I uninstalled and tried again. Nothing works ! When I select a map the app closes completely. It was working gear with old phone.

The description is wrong : it only works with internet connection. The app is great once you are connected to internet. The description says ‘’no internet connection for altitude, speed and compass readings. Well I tried it outdoor for few hours. The compass was i saying I was going north when I clearly I was heading south for more than 10 minutes. The altitude was constantly at 0 meters/feet even if the GPS coordinates were correct. So this is another app that use internet in order to retrieve all the information. The description is miss leading. I am asking apple my money back.

Altimeter is also pedometer. When I'm not climbing/hiking, I use this as a basic pedometer. You can set it up via the "Today/Notifications" pull down screen.

Paid for Ad Free but still has ads. I liked the lite version so I paid 4.99 for the ad free version, BUT Add free STILL HAS AD’s when I clicked on the weather. Also other items like the flame shows ad’s! IF I KNEW THIS I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID FOR THE SUPPOSEDLY AD FREE VERSION!!! I’d like a refund or Remove All the Ad’s.!!!

Good but need more feature. This is a very nice app but I need to be able record my current position with coordination and copy/send it for records. I think it needs a "copy position" button, an "email" button or a "text" button. Ideally, it should also have a route trace on the map and can be saved as a picture.

Ejs. One of the poorest bundles of apps I've ever purchased; not configurable to any comprehensible use! I would request my $$ back! There should be minus stars!!👿

Blane. Handy app for several & varied purposes.

Accuracy is suspect. Gps results are not even in the correct county.

Altimeter GPS review. Save your money! On my copy: 1) The altimeter keep swinging over a 10 meter range 2) The longitude had the last two digits missing 3) The compass was swinging wildly, and never even pointed North once 4) I tried to contact the App writer but my message was returned.

WOW - Comprehensive and Easy To Use. I was in the car and needed the altitude; this App looked good at 99 cents but had few reviews. I'm usually a critical reviewer but I'm very happily surprised. This small App combines many useful features in a well thought-out interface and they all seem to work fine thus far. This is going on my first page with my most-used favorites.

App is still not working even after this fix!!. App is still broken please fix or return my purchase fee!!

Useful app. Easy to use and accurate.

SincitySamo. This app didn’t work. I downloaded the free one which seemed to work ok, but bombarded me with ads. I spent the buck on the Pro to eliminate that and it didn’t work.

Northern grandma. This app does not work. What a waste of money. Help does not work. Steps don’t work unless you use the widget. Not much of a weather report. App needs fixing.

Gps coordinates. Very nice app. Could be greatly improved if gps coordinates could be displayed in other formats; user-defined.

Good app waiting to become great. Good overall. Altimeter is 5 star The multifunction app needs two improvements: Most important is Display latitude and longitude in all decimal format. Second is the pedometer function that only counts all steps each 24 hours. Keep that function but allow to count steps in an individual walk while still adding those steps to a daily count. ie Individual trip reset to zero then count til user marks end of the exercise event.

Altimeter Pro. This is a great app. It gives me real time GPS and altitude while on hikes through Alaska's backcountry. It is also nice to have an accurate weather forecast at my fingertips.

Still doesn't work. The basic version works but this PRO version still does not work.

GPS/Alt. Bought this because it said it would work off GPS, and did not need service to work. That is not the case for me ... iPhone 6

Very versatile & utilitarian!. Like being able to open various facets (flashlight, compass, multiple maps, weather, etc) with easy on screen return to app function. Like the weather link which has link to NOAH advisories for your location. Works best when keeping app running in background for GPS locale/altitude functions. Really like SOS Feature which brings up pre-populated text of GPS co-ordinates and help request. Pro version is definitely worth the $!!!

Professional. The app worked until you fixed it. Now it doesn't boot up at all in my iPhone 6 Plus with this latest fix. Thanks for nothing.

Review. Has an error message that pops up too often. This app should be able to operate without wi-fi but it does not. Too bad.

Don’t bother with this app.. Spend your money on something else.

Altimeter. Very useful, easy to use.

Terrible. Terrible accuracy. Standing on the Atlantic Ocean beach at Charleston SC and the app told me I was at 95 ft above sea level. The other features at nice but the poor accuracy makes it worthless.

Great App for the Adventurer. I downloaded the lite version of this app for my latest cross country trip. We hiked up over 14,000ft in Colorado with no service and this app's altimeter, compass, and GPS worked perfectly! I've had a blast keeping track of our altitude from there down to below sea level in San Diego, and throughout the other 8000 miles of our trip. For .99c this upgrade is well worth it for the extras, to remove the ads, and to support the app makers for a great product! Thanks!

Crashes. Latest update Crashes on startup with iOS 8.4.1

Great concept but could use help to get over the top. Great layout and functionality in the pro version of the app. The concept is solid and puts all the resources in the same place a press away from each other. Some of the terminology is tough to understand, refuges for example, (which doesn’t seem to work right) and a couple of the sections still have advertisements when you pay for the advertisement free version ($4.99 US). I really think the developer could take this app over the top if he audited the functionality and reviewed the terminology with someone.

Not Finished. The parts of the app that work are great, but many of the features of the app don’t work / crash the app. I can’t stand apps that are full of bugs. Unfortunately I paid for this one and now I’m deleting it from my phone.

Happy so far.. I give it 3 as about to go bush and give it a real time test, then review again. But it's good in information placement. Seems accurate.

could'nt use this. kept putting in gps coordinates but no place to save and if you go back it erases coordinates searched. I upgraded to pro and it does the same thing and then tells me ti get pro when i am on it already.. no help section very disappointed and waste of money.

This app doesn’t work. App looked promising so I purchased pro. Weather, search and distance don’t work on either iPhone or iPad. Search actually crashes the program. I’d like my money back. Certainly don’t buy this.

The developer emailed me with links to the Pro app and a promotional code and detailed instructions on how to redeem the code in the App Store! Kudos to Andrea Piani for helping me out🙏 Although I haven’t used the pedometer feature yet I agree with the other feedback about adding up individual treks one might take in the course of a 24 hr period. Because the current recorded period is calculated at 24 hrs with no breakdown of the individual treks taken within that period. Makes too much sense. 👍 For what I have been using it for the app is GREAT! It has never let me down. It gives accurate GPS and Elevation readings while on the turf or 40,000 feet above ground at 500 mph in a jet! It works in airplane mode without fail! Therefore my fellow earthlings, I feel a whole lot better about our collective criticisms and am crossing my fingers in hopes of a near future update with regard to my fellow users concerns!🤞 Let us Rock forth with glee❗️🤘 MFAB

The best altimeter app. 5x🌟

Unbelievable. I do not understand why this does not retail for $99.99. It is seriously awesome, but also incredibly user friendly. Sooooo many functions! I love it.
