App shuts down. Never had any complaints and the app worked great until a few weeks ago. Now whenever I try to open it, it opens to setting up notifications and then shuts down. I still receive the banner notifications just fine. Please fix the bug so I can get the news. Thanks!

Review. Great App for local news and weather.

Channel 6 News. Great at concentrating on local news

Are there no proof readers?. These stories are very poorly written. The words are spelled wrong or the wrong word is used.....what happened to pride in doing your job and proofing your work? Look it over before you push the send button, people!

News Nut. I like the articles, there well thought out and presented in a clear concise manner. All three TV stations in the treasure Valley have the same problem on their app. They are very slow to update and especially on the weekends they only throw in a few new stories and continue to run stories from a week ago. The same goes for anything about regional news, sports. I have app for all three stations, just waiting for one of them to become my go to station.

Was good. Just deleted the app after after their old version for so long now the total opposite. I’ll stick with KTVB. Their new one is worse.

Bias. They are number 2 for liberal bias network in Idaho next to KTVB. If u want liberal news watch KIVI or KTVB...

Decent news app. Overall this news app is easy to use and a good weather section. Only wish they updated their stories a bit more frequently.

Weird weather app. So I see the weather on the app and see the weather then later I see the weather on the news channel and its different weather don't like that :( it's ok but if u want bad weather I don't recommended but good news :D

Great App!. For local news this is my go-to app. Without naming it, the other local news app is never updated. This one is always updated and great breaking news.

Handy to have. I like how I get notifications letting me know what is going on in the news.

Woke and lie. I deleted the app when Consistently saw how they wrote articles that were not true. They wrote an article just recently about Stanton medical healthcare stating that they are fake abortion clinic. If you go out to their website they do not even talk about performing abortions. Stanton actually offers free consultations and ultrasounds to women who can’t afford it and free diapers to women who can’t afford it. There is nowhere on their website that says anything that channel 6 said. If I were Stanton I would lawyer up and take them to court.

My opinion. Stay fact based and do not slant the news with b.s. political correctness or cancel culture also the app format is much better than KTVB s newer format

Quick News. I like to receive the news as it happens or if there is a wreck on the freeway it’s great to know ahead of time. I like that 6 on Your Side is there to help the communities. Thanks good job 👍

Easy to use!. During a thunderstorm tonight, I went to a competitor’s new app for the radar. An old habit I guess. Forget being able to utilize it! Their app has been nothing but a headache to use since they launched it. Thus, I landed on KIVI’s app. I am so glad KIVI has kept it simple and made their app easy to use! The radar was immediately right there at my fingertips when I needed it. I don’t want a fancy app with pretty pictures. I want an app that allows me to smoothly scroll through the news items, not get dizzy from the main page moving up and down every time you press on a news item. And, I want an app that is easy to navigate with regard to the weather. KIVI’s app is exactly what I want. Great job KIVI...you have developed a great app and have a new fan!

Waste of time. Worst app ever. None of the headlines are readable but nutlets opened, unlike other apps. Does not work at all with larger text size. Totally pointless app.

So-so news.. Ch6 has apparently decided to try another annoying tactic of making you answer a survey question before they let you see the rest of a news story. I've had enough. Count me out. They are not worth it.

No link to stream live video. I really like the new look and it seems the kinks have been worked out. The live video feed works great.

Doesn't scroll. Once the screen loads it is impossible to scroll down through the stories because the titles and the ads become overlapped in such a way that neither is viewable. I can usually only access the story that comes up first once the screen loads. The rest become jumbled. And spell checking before publishing your stories would be a good idea as there are frequent spelling and grammatical errors.

Good job. Best app I've found for the area... Stories load and play and news is worthy ....

Not much. Not much news here really.

Keep it simple. Don’t change your app to chase your competition in news! You’re app does what is needed and does it well!

Meh.......lazy at best. Just a bunch of news clips videos from their news television broadcast. Nothing you can read at work or in public unless you have your headphones in, don't bother with this one.
