Great App, use it all the time!. Found this app as a coin collector. Obviously it’s not for evaluating the value of most that I buy and sell, but many of us can’t resist at least a bit of “silver stacking”. Coinflation provides a quick way of calculating a fair trading price for US coinage of all types. Would be nice to add a line for Gold coins, too. 👍

Platinum? Palladium?. What about platinum and palladium melt value calculator? Doesn’t seam like rocket engineering to figure out something is missing from your app. So no ideas for updating your app have been submitted? Like platinum and palladium melt values calculator added to silver and gold melt value calculator app? Hopefully this suggestion will inspire someone to the next step in evolution. 🤔

Update messed it up.. I can’t get to the gold on the app. The ads at the bottom prevent you from getting to it. Please fix!

Nice try but. Why mess with a good app. Do not like the ebay link. Do not like the gold color in the gold price. Hard for older eyes to focus.. it blurs. Is what it is..

Needs Optimization. The app is easy to use and provides FANTASTIC info at your fingertips. The problem is it needs to be optimized for larger iPhones. If it was optimized it would be a 5 star app.

New update is great. Have been using this app for a while, been really wanting where you can put in the amount of each coin you have so you can get an all around total instead of putting in how many quarters you have then writing it down. Then adding it to how many dimes you have.

Meh. Used to be a reliable resource. Seemingly has pricing issues once a week of late (roughly for the last 6 months or so). Might be time to find another quick-use app.

Displaying prices from 2012????. Would be a great app if it wasn't displaying PM prices from four years ago. What the heck???

A must have!. This is a great app that is needed by just about everyone in today's economy. Ron Paul 2012!

Great app. This app is very helpful. Adding all U.S and other common gold coins weights and melt values would be even more helpful.

Missing a few things. Great app... Only request would be foreign coin melt value. At least Canadian coinflation.

Nice. Nice layout, no bugs so far, and functional. Would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 if the app linked to the daily news articles or archived articles that are on the conflation website.

What happened?. Several times lately, the app wouldn’t even refresh for me...for days. Now for the past couple days, it’s always over an hour behind.

Nice and clean. Great, but it should link to articles like the we page and Kitco app.

Scrap silver calculator. Make it so you can pick the percent of purity. Because I have coins that are for example 53% or 83.5% so it can calculate that. But at her than that it is great.

Solid application. Really good application for scrap value.

Spot price not updating. They haven’t updated spot Price in over a month.

WARNING - don't update app!!!. Coinflation has been my trusty "go - to" app in my business ever since it came out. I use it dozens of times per day. Updated app yesterday and now Coinflation fails to launch. Note to coinflation: just guessing here, but perhaps you updated app for iOS 6. News Flash: many of us iPhone users are keeping our trusty 5.1 OSs because of the Google Maps debacle. Before I posted this review, I searched for "app support" and/or a way to contact you to inform you of this "failure to launch" problem with app upgrade. ANOTHER note to Coinflation: I would suspect that a large percentage of your target audience, like myself, are not - and will never be - members of online communities like Google Plus and/or Twitter... and you left me no other avenue to contact you other than through the REVIEW process. Loved your app when it worked and would love to update this review with a happy ending WHEN YOU FIX THE BUG!! Thanks.

Not working. This used to be a wonderful app, spot prices were constantly updated. Within the last few weeks, the update function has stopped working, rendering the app useless. I would expect better from PCGS, it seems as if the entire company is trending downhill.

We asked and you guys delivered. Works on my iPhone 6, and now includes Silver Eagles, perfect!

Please Fix !!!. Gonna give this app another couple of days then I'm deleting it. I used to use this app all the time, now I don't even think about opening it bc it's never refreshes and spot prices are incorrect. It's a shame.

Best silver coin melt app on here!!!!!. Downloaded 4 different apps before I found this one easy to use and to read. You deal with coins or bullion a must have..

Refresh doesn't work. Since the update the refresh button doesn't bring in new data. I have to shut my phone down to get new prices. Thank you for testing the update.

Great tool. I love this app I use it all the time. I just wish it had something for the pre-33 US gold coins.

No hurry to fix app. This app hasn't worked in weeks. There is always a price to pay for free apps. Upgraded from iPhone 4 to a 6 and still the same. C'mon I use this for my business. Help us!

Great!. Please update so it indicates the weight in troy oz when calculating the total price. Love it. Love the site!

Spotty. Great when working. Not refreshing or updating for the last few days.

No gold coins?. This app is good for what it does. The omission of gold coin values is puzzling to me. Especially, since they went through the trouble of including current coin metal values, which I really don't find all that useful. Gold coins would be much more useful. The bullion section is good for someone estimating the worth if jewelry. Since they left out gold coins, I give it 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars. It's a nice, easy to use app, with one big flaw, gold coins.

Update. Do not like the new format . Don't want to see things for sale when I open it . Also gold & silver prices are too small . Liked the old way better . Any way to delete the update ? Five stars before update ... One now .

Doesn't do common coins. re: common us coinage: It's like using an excel spreadsheet with no values in the cells. Other coin value calculators in the app work. Creator sort of forgot to take care of common US coin equations for some reason.

VERY BERSERK. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BERSERK COIN APPS AVAILABLE ON THE APP STORE. NOW I KNOW THE EXACT VALUE OF MY COINS. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE GOLD COINS. THANKS PCGS. VERY BERSERK.

Glad to see this. Much easier than using the mobile browser. I will give it 5 stars when they include the news feed that is incorporated into the website. Would also like similar summaries for denominations (metal value) as is on the Coinflation homepage. All in all this is a good app and Coinflation is a good website. I look forward to future enhancements to the app!

Infrequent metals price update. While this app is helpful, it doesn’t update underlying metals prices frequently enough. Current pricing is about a week old.

Works again!!!!!. Had deleted it, was not giving the current silver/gold prices, & it's back up, redownloaded it !

Nevermind!. The base metals melt value is fine... It was me that was out of whack.

Back up and running with current prices!!!. Finally this has been fixed as I was using it every day. Had to go to version on computer which worked fine but not phone version when needed on the go. Great to have when buying scrap and on the road!😃😃😃😃😃

Not updating. App has not updated current market values in the past two weeks. Values remain blank. Reinstalling doesn't even help.

Perfect for junk collectors. Great for people that collect silver coins. A must-have app.

Great utility!. The minute-to-minute update of gold and silver prices is helpful. Melt values are helpful during trade business as well.

Cool app but... Needs U.S. Gold coins

Broken again. Second or third time in last two months, fails to load and fails to update. Totally useless now. Been like this for two or more days on multiple occasions.

Good App. I thoroughly enjoy your app as a mobile version of your helpful webpage. However, I do have one gripe and that is the lack of your Canadian coin page which I also use. Hopefully the next update?

App. Great app! All in one!

Quick & Clear. Very simple interface, easy to use, and current. One suggestion is to display karats and % purity and troy ounces simultaneously for those who are new to the process. Maybe something like 24k = 99.99% = 1.0000 troy oz.
