Nice... needs split screen on iPad Pro. Great app. I would like to be able to have my notebook and this reader up on the same screen.

Splendid but crashes occasionally. Really great for reading DJVU and also PDF. This has become my go-to reading app. Cons: crashes maybe 1/15 times and seems unable to snap view around text boxes in PDFs. For DJVUs I haven't seen any noteworthy competition.

Useful for reading scientific textbooks. It is easy to use, fast even on my iPad2, and connect well with dropbox. Very glad I spend the money on it.

Please add other formats. Please add other formats so DjVu can be a one stop shop for ereading. Current feature set is good, but bookmarks are a bit unwieldy because there is nothing to indicate a bookmark on a given page without clicking on the bookmark icon.

A great djvu reader!. Many of my favorite texts (math and science) are in djvu format and, so far, all of those I’ve read using DjVu Pro have been nicely laid out and readable...

The best document rendering on the market. Interface is somewhat clumsy and missing features. TOC display is messed up (no proper support for hierarchical TOC). Export to other apps is sluggish. File managment is rudimentary and inconvenient. Occasional crashes. However, all these deficiencies are more than compensated by the superb rendering quality of text and images. PDF files that display poorly in GoodReader and other competing products, or even on a PC, are displayed just fine in this viewer. Hence 5 stars.

Great app!. This is really a great App. It works flawlessly. I use it on a daily basis to read work- essential books and docs.

Every app should be this good. Does everything it's supposed to do and does it well. And it's really fast and has never crashed on me. Highly recommend!

Good updates and good app. I am very happy with this app so far. It is fast, does not crash. There have been lots of improvements in updates. There is room for improvement and I hope the developer continues to imrpove the app... That being said this djvu reading app is the best one I've tried and I've tried a few of them.

Buggy, better off trying out other djvu apps. Flipping pages is a pain. At one moment it's overly sensitive to touches, at another it simply isn't responsive. There's a bug that tapping between pages simply stops working, which forces you to close the app and try again.

Decent djvu reader. While it's still easily one of the best djbu apps on iOS, it's got its share of problems. Most importantly it doesn't seem to register the .djvu file type to the OS so that you cannot "Open in…" to this app, you MUST use a computer to transfer files to the app. Since I keep many files in the cloud so that I can download them as needed, this is a real deal breaker. Minus one star for that. The TOC issue* that I have previously described is still present and very annoying. And finally the $.99 fee for the ability to read PDFs on top of the $4.99 base price for the app is really bugging me. The feature was not available at all in early versions, but still, given the base price a little extra functionality is undeserving of another fee. These last two points take off another star for me. 3 stars. * The Table of Contents pages linked to in the app do not seem to match up with the TOC pages as seen on a PC djvu program.

Excellent reading app. Although the majority of what I read is in ePub or pdf format, this app is invaluable to cover the many academic papers and books that use djvu.

Don’t Purchase It! It’s as bad as DjVu non-Pro Version. It will load the book at the very beginning. But after a couple of minutes, it becomes ‘fail to load page’ on every page. Avoid it!!

Nice for vintage books. I enjoy reading old books available for free in various internet archives. The look and feel is preserved beautifully. The pages may sometimes turn a bit slowly, due to the rich content, but the slider fixes that. The file size seems much smaller than with PDF.

Crash on iPad Pro with iPadOS 14.2. This app cannot be opened on my iPad Pro with iPadOS 14.2. It always crashed when trying to open. Is there any way to solve it?

Best djvu reader so far. It's a nice app. Although an ability to annotate or write comments in the books is missing

Good reader.. It is effective at reading what you want it to read. I would however wish there were a pause button. Not having this ability makes it annoying to have to listen to the app repeat what was already read.

The Best DJVU Reader Ever. I tried two other applications and couldn't download DJVU files to my iPad. This one is the best. It works so nice. It is worth every penny. Thank you so much for creating this app. I just love it.

Much better then the one I used. I like the book shelf design. Also it is more responsive when you try to flip the page. I found it slightly inconvenient to go to a specific page using the scroll bar on the bottom especially when the number of pages goes over 500. Would be nice to have a place to imprint the specific page and click go. I like the bookmarking tool. Slightly pricy after all but I have a lot of djvu books so it should be worth it.

A fine DJVU reader. Very impressed with its lack of bloat. It properly does what it's name says. I would like a vertical scrolling option. Or an option to start at the top when going to the next page (by default it moves to the same location, not bad for books where the content of a single page fits the screen). I am confused about the existence of an iPad when this seems to be universal.

Mr.. I downloaded the latest update and now the app crashes whenever I try opening a pdf document. Please fix this.

It works. It opened the one file I wanted to read, so I am happy about that. The cheaper apps I have tried did not seem to work.

Not reliable. After opening one of djvu files application crashed. There is no way to re-open, as it attempts to reload the same file and crashes immediately at the start. Have to erase the app, reinstall, and sun again with iTunes. Still no iCloud support... No way to transfer files between iOS and OS X via iCloud.

Best djvu reader. Excellent product: fast, image quality better than on PC readers. The only complaint is that effects are not working on many files. Last open doc is a plus. Background colors does not work except inverse. But inverting multicolored docs makes difficult to view diagrams. So "night reading" needs some work

Amazing reader!. Great app, does everything I expected from it: black background and white text. The only one irritating thing is actions-circle appearing when you tap on the page (tap could be accidental), and I can't disable it. All another stuff is just super!!!

Does not utilize full screen. There is an annoying blank border in the top and bottom 1cm of the screen, meaning that around 1/6 of the screen is just left blank during reading. Please use the whole screen. This is otherwise a fairly versatile and smooth app; if this would get fixed I’d be happy with my purchase.

Best DJVU viewer for the iPad. Simply the best app for viewing djvu files for the iPad. I tried several and this one stood the test of time. Opens files natively, i.e. does not convert to a PDF first. Fast and reliable. Tabs would be amazing.

A leader. If you are serious with e-books, you need iBooks, Kindle and this app. No doubt. Download it.

Cannot load files saved to iPad. I tried a bunch of different mechanisms for getting files into this app. It can't seem to read which files are saved locally on the iPad, it can't see half my folders in Dropbox, it can't connect to iCloud, and it does not create an action in the share menu. Really broken app.

SOS DEVELOPERS OF DJVU BOOK READER:Needs editor djvu options. In this wide merchant of apps you just cannot stay without editor options to you djvu files. I have to convert in my pc my djvu files to pdf in order to use them in pdf expert, which allows you to edit your books. Seriously, you have the platform of the BEST app to read djvu, i already try the orher apps, by far this is more powerful, if you want to keep as the no. 1 in the appstore you need to add editor options (u can see pdf expert, the best read taking app for pdf). I hope you can add that improvement soon, this app deserves it now. Best Regards

A good DjVu reader...but requires basic mark-up and comments upgrade. Excellent app for reading DjVu documents but basic editing, commenting and mark-up capabilities are long overdue. After this upgrade, I will consider a 5-star rating.

No Support. Although you can open a document from outside the application, opening something from inside the app either doesn’t work, or the way it is done is non-intuitive, which is the same thing for an app with ZERO documentation. Sent an email to support. Got ZERO replies. Waste of 5 bucks, pretty much.

Simple, elegant, fast. Great for reading and building a library of DJVU files from the Internet Text Archive - they're so much smoother and lighter than PDFs. All the app really needs is the ability to rename files. (A built-in browser for downloading would ice the cake...)

Useless app. It doesn’t work correctly. I have to turn it off and on all the time to read one document.

App crashes all the time. Do not buy.. This app crashes when you open. Useless.

Required improvements. The application has become better after the recent update. The biggest problem that I see is that renaming of a file is not possible. Sorting feature based on different fields like date, writer, etc. is not possible. Ability to save files in remote servers like Box or Dropbox needs to be considered.

Nice. I think this app is a lot better than ibooks. The interface is very clear and pleasant, and the functionality is great. The app works both with djvu and pdf formats. Kudos for supporting folders. The only thing that is currently missing is epub support. PS there is a minor glitch: when importing a book from icloud, it gets saved into some kind of temporary folder, and upon closing the folder, the imported book will get purged. However, it is possible to manually move the book into the regular documents folder.

not a good app to read djvu and pdf. It cannot read the ebook I need, and when it failed, I tried to reopen it but it still didn't work. The only option is to reinstall, I think.

crash. It works if removing the app before update. Four stars is back! Very useful program. Djvu files are way smaller than PDF. Since iPad has limitation on file size, many books cannot be uploaded in PDF format. Djvu really helps here.

Wrestling Takedown Federation. The developer continually abandons support for earlier OS versions ignoring all of the customers that for some reason (e.g. older devices) cannot upgrade to the latest OS.
