Too much fun!!!. This app is great to check out what you might want but don't want to commit. So much fun to see what looks great or horrible!!! It's like trying on wigs!! Fun app.

Weird. Only gives weird examples. You have to pay for access to normal looking styles. Also, it does a poor job fitting the hair to you actual picture.

Great little app. I was planning to cut my hair after 30+ years of long hair but I was a little scared because I didn’t know what style to go with for my face and age. This app helped me solve the problem and allow hubby to have a say in it too.

So fun!!. This app is so much fun and super easy to use!! I have been wanting to try a completely different hair color and this lets you "try before you buy". Best $5.00 I have spent in a while!!

great app!. Of the several similar apps, this is the only one with good styles for men. It also has a great selection of realistic colors. The interface is very intuitive and the option to remove the background is very useful. I do wish that it allowed for fun, crazy colors too (just for fun).

A good source of ideas and help choosing a hairstyle. My hair has been long for many years and every once in a while I think about cutting it short. I had one bad experience cutting my hair short so I'm nervous about this. This was certainly a good way to test the waters. You get some styles to begin with and can purchase more. I'd buy more if they were available (they're not expensive). The process is easy -- loading or taking a photo, adjusting it to the format, determining or choosing a new color, etc. Each style has info on what type of hair is best suited for each style (straight/wavy/curly, fine/coarse, etc) and also tells what tools are needed for styling and how long styling takes.

Disappointing. I was really looking forward to messing around with the app to find a new hair style. My problem is that the head frame is not adjustable. I am a heavy woman, the head frame is geared for the ideally sized woman. My head and neck line do not fit your frame. Including the head and neck lines for larger women would be a huge improvement of the app.

A few free styles then pay. Not worth it.

Best hairstyle app I've tried. I have been able to try different hair colors and styles before deciding what type of style to get. The hairstyles adjust to fit my picture and it is easy to use. I have recommended it to friends to try and they also enjoy it. My granddaughters like to see themselves with different cuts and colors of hair.

Hilarious styles. Literally the worst hair styles I have ever seen. Almost like they’re punking us.

Good for ideas. The app is a good start when looking for style ideas. Some of the styles look downright ridiculous to me (like the hair is being blown sideways—how could you make that work? And why?) but they at least gave me a good laugh. And sometimes the hair looks like it’s a weird texture or greasy. But overall gave me some ideas. It would be great if somehow you could combine styles, like add or subtract bangs, for example. Don’t know if that’s possible but it would be a great addition.

Disappointed with the limits. I was excited because I had finally found an app like this, but when you got to it the only choices you had were kinda bad and only consisted of about ten. Very sad that you had to pay to see the rest, great idea, just not a great price. Maybe watch an ad to unlock? Idk, just sad cause I would have to pay. 😔😔😔

Great. His is the best hair app I have worked with yet. It really does look real after adjustments and it doesn't take many adjustments at all. Just awesome. Thanks for the fun

Lots of fun!. Way too much fun to see what you look lo Ike with long or short hair and light or dark hair. Much easier to undo a style you don't like than if you tried at the salon! Just wish there were more current hairstyles!

Poor hairstyles. The app works very well when you follow the directions; however the hair style choices are horrific. Most look like cheap wigs. Many seem like duplicates with very minor length differences. Had the potential for being awesome, but failed big time. Wasn't worth the money!

The variety of hair colors are incredibly unnatural!. I love this app and find it it’s a lot of fun at parties. Always gets lots of laughs! My only complaint is that the optional hair colors that can be applied look totally unnatural. Can you tweak them so that the hair colors look more like real life?

Very realistic. I especially like that you can tweek the styles to fit your face shape and hair type. And the wide array of hair colors. And that you buy upfront what you want without being lured in to a “free” app just to find out it won’t do half of what you expected without buying add-ones.

So Much Fun!. I really love this app. It's been fun trying on different styles and colors using my own photo. Took it with me on my iPad to the beauty salon and it turned into a party there; the stylists and customers all loved it. Highly recommend.

Great Helper. Using to try and decide what short hair style would look best. Plan to share images with hair stylist to help her understand the look I'm hoping for. Would probably be 5 star rating if you were able to show side profile and back shots too.

All the styles look the same. This app is a waste of money. I bought the female package, but at least 100 of the 177 short hairstyles are the same. In addition. Most of the styles look like Sweeney Todd or Edward Scissorhands were angry with people the hairdo or the person wearing it. You are better off reading some fashion/style magazines and picking something you like.

I love it! So worth it!. I love the natural color choices, the ability to create a favorite list with-in the app, and the helpful style info it gives you ( s.a. the best face shape and hair texture for the style). It also tells you how to style it and how long it takes to do so. I've found this program to be the best one out there and definitely worth paying a little more for. My only suggested area for it's improvement would be that they allow the style to be stretched vertically, as they can only currently be stretched horizontally. This would be helpful for people with higher hairlines, because once I move a style up to start where my actual hairline does, the style then doesn't fit my face as well, with angles that should hug one's cheek and jaw occurring higher than desired and seeming to be out of place.

This App was the reason I changed my hairstyle!!. The Hairstyle Pro app is great!!! It really gives you a accurate vision of what you will look like with certain hair colors and styles. I decided to purchase the app to receive the many styles in which they offer. I'm so glad I did. I found a style I liked, cut off 6 inches from my hair and LOVE IT!! Thank you hairstyler pro for making a app so friendly to use and giving me the vision to follow through with such a intimidating change.

Worked for me. I tried other virtual hairstyle apps & was only frustrated. This one is straightforward, the styles are realistic, and there are so many you're bound to be pleased. I printed the one I chose & took it to my hairdresser today. He said it was do-able & very appropriate. Now i look like the girl in the picture. Recommend.

It's worth the money. Yes it is true that you only get a few styles for free but, all in all, $5 is a fair price for a section of styles you like. Well worth the money. Thanks to the creators for making an inexpensive app that I have been waiting for.!

Paid for extra hairstyles, now they are gone. I paid for the extra hairstyle package, and saved several pictures to favorites. I went back in today to look at what I saved, and no favorites are there! It’s like I’m starting from the original. What the hell! I wanted them to show to my hair stylist. What a ripoff!!

Great for haircut ideas!. If you are considering a new cut and hairstyle, especially a drastic one, you should check this out!

Worth it. Nice tool to check out different styles. I have long hair and cutting to a long bob. But with so many cuts I wanted to see the differences before I hit the chair. Love it.

Entertaining at Best. I gave this app 3 stars for the entertainment value. I paid the extra money and was a little disappointed. Even though there are a couple of hundred styles, they were mostly similar. Lots of swept bangs! Not much help in picking a hairstyle. But good for a few laughs.

Love this app must try :). How fun! I'm thinking about going shorter and different color pretty drastic. This gives a real like look because you can make hair taller and also change the width to get a realistic look. Love this app thanks

I've made a decision. I've been wanting to cut my hair and donate it for a bit now. My problem was that I had no idea what my face would look like with a different type of cut, and it's been frustrating. With this app I was able to view my very own face in over 250 haircuts! I was able to favorite some, and then go through those in order to narrow it down further. I'm impressed. Thank you for helping me make the decision to chop!!

Color formula or names. They only give advice on haircut styling not on what the hair color name is. Would be more helpful if they said light ash brown or platinum silver, etc. and even better if multiple brands were named.

Don't waste your money. App easy to use but I regret purchasing this. Within 5 minutes I realized I had I just thrown away $4.99. The ugliest hairstyles I have ever seen.

Would like more..... This is the best hair style app of all the ones I have tried. It is easy to use and has a great variety of hairstyles if you buy the package. You can store photos of multiple people in the app and it is a lot of fun to use with friends. There are two things I wish the developers would add - I would like some more hairstyles that are between super short and shoulder length that are more suitable for older women and I wish I could sort the hairstyles by styles for thin hair, thick hair, wavy hair, fine hair etc.

Best app out there!. I have tried so many of these apps looking for a new hair style, after testing it I bought the PRO & this was the only app that had a bunch of REAL HAIR COLOR Shades, so I could really try on realistic different hair colors & highlights as well as REAL haircuts, along with explanations & definitions! So you know what kind of cut to ask for when you go to the salon, or just open the app and show your stylist! It also lets you slightly move and adjust the hair so it fits your face! GREAT TOOL! I can’t sing it’s praises enough! Don’t waste your time trying other apps like I did, this is the best one!

Soo much better than Hairstyle Makeover. App is free for 15 mixed hairstyles. Bought $4.99 package for medium/long hair extras. Expensive, but definitely more diverse of a selection. I found several to choose from so I am happy with this app.

Disappointing. I was disappointed...my face is oblong and did not fit properly for hair to sit on head properly even with tweaking. I am also a natural red head and was disappointed but not surprised, that there was only one red colour which was nowhere near my colouring...glad the ap is free!

Great app. Wonderful, love it, best to check on this app first before doing something drastic to your hair at the hairdressers. Wouldn't of thought short suits me..ha ha

Dumb. Honestly I tried to look up apps on how to know what I would look like with a fringe and when I saw this one, I thought "oh, cool this looks good" But I was totally wrong!

Some feedback. So far the most helpful hairstyling app I've found. Does need some hair-off-the-face styles, and a way to morph/adjust parts of the hair not just the whole size. But on the whole a good user friendly app🙂

Don't bother. Don't waste your time. The app at first looks good and loads in about 10 hairstyles but you need to pay a min of $6.99 to buy packages of hairstyles to expand.

This is by far the best!. I have tried so many of these apps and this one is by far the best app! I have been using this app now for about 3 years. I also take it to friends to help them chose styles and colours. Don't try the rest because this is the best!!

Wow bug was fixed promptly. Highly appreciate how quickly the bug in regards to the in app purchasing was remedied. A next update feature I'd suggest would be to give the option to be change the contrast and lighting of the hairstyles. And even opacity.

This app is not free.. Tried to upload a photo and couldn't go any further because I was asked to pay.

Bad update. I was really looking forward to this update. But instead of the app getting better, it got worse. I wanted to test out the 20 new hairstyles with a model first. As soon as I clicked on it the model's skin turned blue! Then almost immediately after it crashed! I've kept trying but the same thing happens! FIX THIS!

Good Value. Great ap. Lots of varied styles and very easy to use. Range of hair colours for blondes is a bit limited, though. Excellent range of greys and browns. Option to add highlights would have been lovely.

Very real. I have to say that for a few dollars I did not expect too much, but then BAM it was amazing This app is easy to use, and the haircuts are up to date and look real. The developers have done a pretty darn good job I am a hairstylist and use it frequently in my salon as a visual guide when consultating. Wonderful app!!!!. This is the best app I’ve used to try different styles and colours. I bought the female package which has hundreds of styles and colours...well worth the money!! One great thing is you don’t have to adjust each style to fit your face...once you’ve set the parameters at the beginning, the app fits the style right on, and it does it perfectly. Nop. Works fine but most style are not free. Which means you will end up buying many extra package to get what you want.

Useless. Very rigid in shape of face and head. Only a handful of really ugly hairstyles in basic pack.

Not really free. The "free" app is false really. The free just gets you to load it, take a picture and view yourself in 3 hair styles. Then it is locked and if you want to see more styles it's $5. It did pay the $5 because it looked cool and a fun thing to laugh about with my girl friends. There really are a lot of styles and numerous hair colours and various lengths. I loaded the pics on Facebook. It is a cool app. Just beware not free.

Not free, like Jib Jab. You get 15 free samples of hair styles but you need to upgrade for 10 dollars to get more choices, over 300 choices of short hair styles, medium, or long styles, and you don’t get a good idea at all, they all look silly. It’s a gimmick. It reminds me of jib jab, but not as good as that. It’s like putting wigs on top of your head, 1 dimensional.

Free version is bad. Free version is pretty useless. Thanks for the laughs though.

Really like this app. I love the variety of styles and colours. It's great to be able to adjust the styles to fit the the face. Would be nice if we could narrow the selections such as by face shape, hair texture, etc.

My hair stylist asked for the link to the app. Definitely worth the $6.00 for style packages. It was so helpful as i could use several different pics, each with different glasses and totally confirmed what I wanted to do. Went from long permed hair to short pixie cut with red colour. My hair stylist was so impressed with the app as you can see each style from either side ~ part or direction of style from either left side or right side. Change hair colours with each style and i liked that you can white out your background too. I have never taken the time or wanted to write a review ever before.

iPad 3. I bought the $4.99 app and it just closes right away. Does not open on I pad 3.

Stupid. Not much hairstyle to pick from unless you upgrade. It keeps your original hair and just throws a sample over top of that. Doesn't even take away your old hairstyle. So all I see is the sample hair around my face and the rest of my hair behind. I can't believe people rate this so high.

Great app!. I use the iPad 3 and it works great. You do have to pay the $5 for the full version but if you we're to use a similar program on your pc you would pay in the hundreds. It's also a great way to avoid an expensive and painfully long wait to get rid of a do that you regret having done. I have used it for myself, my daughter, and several coworkers and all are in love with it. Definitely worth the money.

Hairstyles are not the same as purchased.. What happened to the hairstyles I purchased. Somehow they have switched to trash. I don't recommend buying this program. If I could I would demand my money returned. Look for another program that will not switched what you purchased.

Rip off. I used Hairstyle Pro once and paid for the extra styles package, it only worked one time. I went to use it a second time and the style package that I paid for completely disappeared. This app is a complete rip off, don't buy it.

Awful. The hair styles are the worst I have seen. I even paid the extra $4.99 to get the additional hair styles and they are just as bad as the samples. These styles are more from the 40s or 50s. They just look like BAD haircuts!

Fun & helpful. I paid the $4.99 for more style choices & it is great. You see how different styles look on you because you use your photo.

Waste of time!. You can only view 2 or 3 hair styles and the coloring of the styles looks like it was drawn on with crayons.... Not even crayola but generic crayons. Don't waste the time.

Worst App. I would love this app if it allowed to change multiple people and for photos that were captured smaller. Also , you can not tweak the hair like many other apps. The best hairstyle for me ..the men Afro . Not for African American women with natural hair or curls .. It crashes.

Hairstyles are lousy. Downloaded even though reviews weren't so great.....deleted after looking at once; really bad free version, so why would I consider paying to upgrade lousy?

Good app, awful hairstyles. The app works really well, but I wish there were some normal-looking hairstyles to choose from. Only the very young and those who want to look counter-culture would wear most of these.

Teaser. You only get 3 styles from each category free and they are never the one that looks good. If you choose the locked ones, the "pay for more" box pops in front of the face blocking the model. Deleting.

Bad Deal. This app is not free. You get to choose between 3 styles the rest you have to pay for. I am erasing it from my files.

Not really free. As you can tell by the ratings, it's not a good idea to offer a free app which is unusable without an in-app purchase. And yes, having only 2 free hairstyles is unusable.

Hairstyle Pro. This is the worse app I have ever seen. I even paid extra to get additional hairstyles. The styles are terrible. I would like to get a refund on the extra I paid!!

Frustrational. It is the worst app ever! It is such a waste of time that I almost thought of calling the company and tell them how bad it is! Please don't get this app!

Like it.... But i wish they had more african american hair styles. It works better than a few other aps I downloaded.
