Help or I'll need a refund. I purchased the in app 4.99 but it still will not let me view any letters!!! I have an iPhone Xs Max. Please let me know what to do or fix problem.

Cannot-say today. Can’t really look at nothing unless you upgrade. Can’t search nothing unless you upgrade so really it’s not any good did you even try it out cause you can’t drive out unless you upgrade

Unhappy. Tried this app. Only letter a is available to see and if you want to see more, you can't. It says if you want to see the rest of the app you can on the next page but nothing happens. I would pay to have this app at its fullest but until it actually works, this app is useless.

Basic manual search app. There is a lot of information in this app. However, it takes quite a bit of scrolling and hunting to find the info. A search feature would be a great improvement. Ie. enter a city name and all the known marks for that city pop up. I’m sorry I bought this app.

Had this for years for free. I have had this app for years, certainly don’t use it enough to pay $52 a year. You can’t even look at the “Updates “ to see if it is worth the money. Great Job, killer inflation and you want this much money now.

Don't Buy It!. It is not free. Total scam. Developers should be upfront about price and Apple should have better rules to enforce truth in pricing!

I wish they updated. Great app, more resources than you’ll find in other places (websites, most singular books). However, I wish they’d update their catalog. The search functionality is great once I figured out I had to uninstall and reinstall for it to not crash. Modern marks would be great to include!

Very Handy. Very useful, you can search by letters, images, and symbols.

CANT GET RID OF IT. I have tried to delete this app, but it does not show up anywhere in my iPhone listing of current apps, nor in any deep search of the phone itself… Apparently I have simply signed up for a dollar a week and now cannot turn it off. I have contacted the website twice now asking for instructions on how to turn it off and quit paying for it, but to no avail. Additionally, the button at the end of the FAQ section where you can get help doesn’t work, so I can’t get help that way. Best of luck. Bad! If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

Can’t do picture search.. Can’t search with taking a picture!! That’s why I PURCHASED this app. So then I tried searching very simple clear letter markings and no matter what I put on this silver piece this app always say “no results found” Don’t waste your time. You’ll get more info on your item searching on the internet FOR FRE!!

Fabulous for research. The full version is great for researching obscure marks. Great database of information.

Would give it no stars.... This is NOT a free app. Totally misleading. If I'd had a chance to preview the free features, I'd have most likely paid for the full version. Now though- forget it.

Hate misleading apps. Free to install then have to pay before you can use it to do anything.

Great App, near perfection.. This app is what all vintage silver collectors need. It is a huge reference for a vast range of silver markings. The user-interference is simple and easy to use, no tutorial needed. The accuracy of the app is yet to be fully gauged by me. Obvious markings of Georg Jensen, Tiffany&Co, etc are present and accurate. But I cannot give credit to the many other markings as I have yet to explore them properly. However this app does need many improvements. Minor but essential. Bad: 1. There is no "Search" bar. 2. No number associated with the mark, so in an instance where you need to quickly find what you were just looking at you would have to endlessly scroll back to the right spot and in my case miss it a few times. 3. To build on #2, in the category for "Letters" there is no simple initial reference, you don't search for ex: GJ for Georg Jensen, you search for the mark of letters and beside it is a lengthy description. It would be easier to scroll and only look for "GJ" and the picture. Once found you could click on a link to expand a lengthy description. 4. There is no "Settings" where you could possibly change features, like create specific search results or contact a representative in case of an error. Good: 1. Essential reference. I found an strange mark and used this app to identify it. I afterwards cross referenced the jewelry and had found treasure - a Ben Yazzie silver bracelet! Overall: Great reference tool with simple user interface. It needs minor changes to make searching more direct but aside from that this app is a must-have for $5!

Mr. From what I see so far this app will be very useful in IDing silver I find in shops when I am on the road. Would be more helpful with more Indian stamps.

Nagware. No idea how well it may work: free download, but then $5 to unlock data. No way to even test it. Also doesn't seem to have a category for UK hallmarks. They're probably there, but no way to just search for just the UK marks to figure out the year codes. Deleted it after five minutes.

Excellent full version. Worth every penny! So much information in one place. It saves me countless hours on web researching.

Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice.... To be really useful, take a picture and match the hallmark. Think Google Goggles or LeafSnap. Now that would be something worth paying for!

I wouldn’t even leave 1 star!!!. Ridiculous that you won’t show any markings unless you pay!!!! Allow the basics for free at least!!

Yea mee tew. Whatever, I don't mind paying, but I won't pay for what I can't test or see MAAAAAAAANNNNNN!?!!!! Give a partial menu for free so we can test drive. Earn your money jerks.

Good app to have in the collection.. Good application, but definitely part of a resource and not a stand alone reference. You should have other references to compare and contrast. Great first line to put on your ipad!

Bad update. The minor fix, make you pay to use the app! It always seems buggy anyway. Going to get something else.

Switch and Bait. So he takes the price down from five dollars to free and listed on free app of the day but then puts a five dollar in app purchase so the app isn't free at all. The creator of this app is bs.

Good tool. This is a great tool and helps but you have to do a lot of hunting. However, it is nice to have this info on one place.

Not free app - $4.99. This app is NOT free. This app is NOT a free lite version. This app does absolutely nothing until you pay $4.99 to unlock it. This is a gross case of bait and switch. If you were taken in like I was, please report this app/dev to Apple iTunes QA. Dev: if you feel your app is worth $4.99 then charge $4.99, don't lie and say it's free.

I ALREADY PAID FOR THIS!!!. I already bought this app. I hadn't used it in a while and needed it today and now all I can use is the default "A" category. That's BS! I'll be looking into who I can complain to. I'm so p1$$3d about app owners that do this that I'm going to start a blog about these people to generate bad press. Your app, BTW, is worth ten bucks easily, and I'd pay that. Your marketing tactics make you worthless.

A MUST have!. If you collect silver, this is THE app to have. Very complete and easy to use.

Dont Buy. Liars. Don't say it is free then charge to use it! What is "1 full Unlock"? One use? One platform? One search? If it is worth $5 then be up front about it and tell people what they will get. A free app without the data is a waste of space.

Descriptions. It would be nice to read the entire description of each item. They are cut off. Or at least when you click the mark the description comes up with it

Very useful. Despite the not free bit, once I paid up I found several obscure marks on items I own. Has been a useful tool identifying silver and plated markings for me on items I find along the way.

Waste of money. Doesn’t even have the letter marks for years, or manufacturers logos for different years. Photos are poor quality low res and often blurry. You can’t get better quicker results on Google. Very dissapointing

Hallmark thoughts. Good app would be better for research with more pics, info of what objects with the markings & more history. Apart from that a good start.

Not with your time. Even though it's free to down load you can't see much without paying a lot more ... You should show more for free if you wish for is to buy more

Rubbish. Hardly a detailed catalogue once you open and look up your hallmark. Mine was a U, hardly any marks there. Waste of money.

Not free. This isn't a free app at all. It's not even listed as "lite". As soon as you try to see any of the marks under the listed categories, you get a very insistent popup saying you need to pay $5.99 to unlock the rest of it. Feel deceived and ripped off as I would normally be happy to pay for an app that has proven that it works but I can't even ID the hallmarks I have on the object in my hand, and I am stuck without my book back in the shop!

Annoyed. I cannot test if I want this app. No mention of lite, or that it was only a list of headings and categories. Read the fine print in the description, and saw that there was an in app purchase of a full unlock. Expected that there was information withheld. Did not expect no information at all! I got what I paid for - nothing, for nothing. I am not going to fork out more than 5.00 on something that is a complete gamble.

Hard to tell. There's only one page available in the free version - each other page has to be paid for.

Hallmark database. Crap

Full disclosure. App is free....but actually seeing the hallmarks isn't. You only get letter 'A' and rest of alphabet has to be paid for. That info seems to be 'missing' from app details.

Handy app!. Very nice app and handy if you enjoy treasure hunting at yard sales etc.
