Passed my G1 test on first attempt. I took the G1 test today and I passed at my very first attempt. The G1 app paid version made it easy for me as the question were so similar. I scored 19 out of 20 questions in the first part and 20 out of 20 in the second part of the test. I finished within 12 mins and this is because I had studied the exam stimulation part with the App. This app is super helpful and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to write the test and get it over with. Just Practice the questions and you are on your way to victory. All d best

Good for learning the information. I'm 14 but I want my permit as soon as I turn 15 and this app will most likely help me with that.

Passed on First Attempt. I highly recommend this app!! I passed today on my first attempt, with only 4 mistakes out of 40 questions. I used only this app as my resource to study. So glad that I bought it, worth it.

I got this app to study for the G1 test since it was last minute and I knew I wouldn’t find time to read the book, and paid for the full app (important to do that otherwise it doesn’t offer enough tests) and I passed with no questions wrong! Finished the test in like 10 minutes actually this app was super helpful :)

THE best way to prepare for the G1. If you’re reading this, let me tell you how to prepare for the G1. Step 1 - Get the MTO handbook and read through it EXACTLY once, to get your brain oriented towards the content. Do not cram. Do not re-read. Do not try to memorise anything. Just read it and put it away. Step 2 - Get this app and do EVERYTHING the app tells you to do in the recommended order. Do everything in the “Easy” section, then do everything in the “Hard” section, then do everything in the “Hardest” section. Then do the three exams in the exam simulator section. I guarantee you the actual test will be a piece of cake if you do this. You will breeze through it. Excellent app. Cannot recommend it enough. I scored 100% on the test. Didn’t miss a single question.

Passed the G1 test with ONLY THIS APP. I've just passed my G1 test (Jan 2020). I didn't touch the MTO handbook or studied any other material. I've got 5 wrong answers on the first part of the test (6 mistakes allowed) and only one on the second part of the test. Btw, I used the free version. Maybe I would get a higher score if I used the paid version. Anyway, I recommend this app and passed my G1 on the first try only using it.

I PASSED!!!. I don’t normally go out of my way to write good reviews lol but I had to for this app because I PASSED because of this app! Questions were word for word in the test. I missed 3 questions just because I was starting to sweat and couldn’t remember if it was 30, 60 or 90 days for a suspension for something and some other similar questions, but those questions were on the app as well. I passed 20/20 for the road signs! I didn’t bother using the book at all! I will definitely recommend this app to anyone who’s looking to get their g1 license. Thank you!!!

Questions identical to real test. I was not paid to write this and it is not a fake review. Title related - the real questions are almost entirely identical to the practice tests. I bought the app yesterday and did all the questions last night. I passed the test 39/40 in 15 min this morning. It’s not 100% necessary to buy the app, the real questions were easy. The peace of mind was worth it and it was better than the other apps I tried for comparison purposes. It was more useful than reading the book.

Paid essential features. App was good before they asked for 30$ for basic features.

Scam. I signed up for a 3-day free trial, but I was charged for a month’s subscription without my consent. I believe this is an error and would like a full refund. If this issue isn’t resolved promptly, I may have to consider further action. I have documentation to support my claim. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Good except for one thing. It's good and all but I don't understand why I have to pay for extra stuff and practice rounds but I guess it is what it is.

Review. An easy to use app. I passed my written test but I use the app to help boost my confidence of signs and rules of the road while gaining G1 driving experience.

Money well spent!. I got the official handbook first, but was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information. This app suits my learning style much better, I just took all the practice tests until I got 100% right. It paid off, because today I aced the knowledge test. Highly recommended!

Pass on the 1st try with this app. Rather than buying the MTO handbook, I decided to download this app. I recommend reading the handbook online casually and not be bugged with cramming all the limits, fines, and points. After practicing with the free tests, I recommend purchasing this app. I practiced all the tests from easy to hard to hardest and then all the marathons and then the final exam simulator. I took the knowledge test today, 7th March and passed with only two questions wrong on my first attempt. Very pleased with the results. Thanks for putting together a great app. I’d like to add that on the actual exam, when you get a question wrong, it actually lets you know what the correct answer was. Also, it does not stop until you’ve attempted all the 20 questions in each part. Good luck to everyone else out there.

Good. The app is good, the tests help you learn. But you can only do a few tests before they give you your only other option which is to pay 30 dollars to do the rest of the quizzes. Cant even retake them.

Perfect App. Its great and useful

Very useful tool. I didn’t read the Driver’s handbook at first, I did about as many practice test as you can possibly do and learnt mostly from the mistakes (online tests always show you the right answer, so I would take notes) and I would always pass with at least 80% on the rules of the road section, which is the harder section. So I decided to read the book (read the whole book in 2 days in between chores) and although the online tests help you so incredibly much, I would strongly suggest you use them as a tool and not a replacement for the book. Although some of the questions are extremely similar, the wording changes a bit, so if you memorize by the wording instead of the actual content then you’ll probably fail. The whole thing took me 3 days (I started doing the online tests and studying on a Tuesday and took the written test the Thursday of the same week) I thought I was rushing into it but I’ve been under a lot of pressure to get it done so I said screw it, lets get it done with. There was 3 other teenagers taking the test beside me, they all failed (two of them failed twice while I was there) I’m 30y/o and believe it or not, I always had more pressing things to do than to worry about getting my licence. I will bus/bike/walk everywhere so it wasn’t a necessity either. But recently the “mean girls” in my circle where constantly mocking me and trying to make themselves feel better by putting me down for not having a licence. That discouraged me a bit and felt like maybe I wouldn’t even pass the written test...for some reason. But honestly, thanks to this apps and online tests, and reading the book I was able to pass on my first try

Passed test in August, 2024. This app is actually amazing! The reviews I real, because I got exactly same questions from the app. I paid 29.99$ for this app and it is actually worth it, because I passed my test on the very first try!!!

Developers why?. This new update is really dumb and annoying. I don’t understand why you need pay NOW, before it was free this stupid to me.

I’m a little older and let my license expire and have to do my G1 again.. Super happy i decided to check this app out. I had no idea about the demerit system and points that are added. Consequences can be very expensive. I more than likely would have failed the exam without this App. ( Thanks Bill )

Aced my G1 test. For starters, the app is free BUT there is a paid extension of the app for extra questions. It’s around $33 CAD after taxes. The extra questions and access to the mock exam was worth it. The PDF files I didn’t use much but the questions are pretty similar to what you see on the test. I got 40/40 no wrong answers. I’d recommend this app for sure. Pay if you want but to prevent having to go back and pay to do the G1 over again I think it’s worth it.

Passed first time! 95%. Although they did recommend reading the book first, I’m not a reading learner and avoided the book in the first place, but just as a precaution I’d use the book too. But, this app still helped me. The questions are pretty much worded the same (but always read the question over and over in the actual exam) and there were only a couple of questions that weren’t on here, which is why I’d recommend reading the book. Apart from that, this app helped me as an interactive learner. One tip is to keep doing each set over and over until you get 100% on all of them, then move onto the exam simulation. This helps make sure you know every single question cause you never know what you’ll get on the actual G1. Premium pack questions weren’t on my exam, but it’s a different exam for everyone. Better safe than sorry. Loved it!

Passed!. I used g1 genie primarily everyday for like a week until I was getting 90-100 percent on everything and I went for my g1 today and passed . I never got a chance to read the book so this has been super helpful and accurate to the actual test!!

I passed!!!. I failed only 3 questions in my exam. And all I did was practice every single question on the app with the premium package and I definitely trusted God for guidance. This was very helpful, the questions were the same but worded differently. I highly recommend this.

Helped, but not 100% reliable. I bought the premium version of the app, which I recommend highly if you are studying last minute. However buy the official drivers guide and read the whole thing atleast once, there is necessary info that’s on the test in there. Relying on this app alone will not garuntee you a pass. - well it might when in comes to the road signs, but definitely not the rules of the road. Took the test today, passed, but just barely on the the rules of the road as I relied too much on this app and only skimmed the book, it’s a great app, but use it with the right mentality.

G1 Tests. Very helpful

G1 Genie is all you need !. I recently used the G1 Genie app to prepare for my G1 test, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Won’t let me take the next practice test!. By far the stupidest g1 practice test app. At first, I really liked it. Then, on day 3, after giving my practice test 2, it just won’t let me take practice test 3 and the following ones coz it thinks the probability that I’ll pass is 20% so it won’t let me take any of the further practice tests. I don’t know how the hell this is rated 4.7. This is a joke!

Passed first attempt at 100%. I definetly recommend this app it covers everything needed and has the most questions that are actually on the test. Fantastic app.

I’ve passed the exam studying for 4 days. All I can say is that the app meets expectations! I loved the user experience! The questions are exactly the same as those on the written exam. Repeat them until you remember them all and you should be good to go. Don’t bother reading the handbook.

Not Practical, wrong questions. As a DriveTest employee I get teens coming in unable to pass their exams the first time because of they rely on this app. The questions aren’t word for word and actually some of the questions aren’t even on there so they study the wrong material. It’s a waste of their money to retest and the developer is making it more difficult for the users to pass their exam. Don’t use this app, just buy a book and study; it’s more accurate and less time consuming.

Awful ads despite paying. Don’t pay for premium, you still get 30 second unskippable ads. Really frustrating.

Passed G1 in 2 minutes!. After 2 days of practicing all multiple choice questions (the 290 question marathon), I was able to pass with a near perfect score. The app made it easy, especially with the free trial.

Passed first time, many similar questions. Real test had many similar questions. Premium was worth it.

Helped me pass my exam!. I strongly recommend G1 Genie. Before using this app, even after reading the handbook, I failed my exam. After a week of using G1 Genie I was confident enough to do the retest and passed with no wrong answers!

Tried to cancel my subscription. I've been trying to cancel my subscription and wasn't allowed to do so. You buy the app premium, and they say that is only one time that they will charge you, but they charged me every month now.

Some suggestions. I loved the app, helped me pass my test on the first time. Comfortable to use. I do think that it could be a great idea to make this app available in other languages. The test itself is available to be taken in like 15 languages I think, so in my opinion the app should accommodate that and should be available in the same languages that the test is available in.
