Lots of Fun. It happens that the impressionists are my favorite artists in general. Being able to see a good sample of their work anytime I want is a real treat.

A privilege unimagined. How can one rate the collection in one place of the art that still inspires. Most of us will never otherwise be able to see so many of the impressionist works, and certainly not in one place.

So much!. If you love impressionist art, this is a treasure. So much at the touch of a finger and presented in categories. Easy to enjoy and most rewarding.

Great!. I home school. Fine art is part of our studies. My son and I are really enjoying this already! Easy to navigate and the art looks great in HD! Thank you!

Impressionism. Wonderful! Some pictures I had never seen before. Impressive collection, well organized, very useful!

A good start.... Many works by Renoir and Van Gogh, but hardly any by Sisley and Pissarro. Also, it lacks a zoom feature. So, minus one star for those two things. Minus another star for not having included Dance at Bougival, my favorite Renoir painting. Overall, though, a nice, little app.

Super cool. Do it! Very cool to look at well-organized world-class art. I wish they had more info on each piece, but it's a really good database. User friendly.

A Real Joy!. Made me remember my art classes in college. I love photography now, and some of these paintings look like photos taken. Astounding that they could show such exactness! Nice to download to camera roll and email. Bravo!

Rest that beauty offers. Viewing this impressionist's arts give me the feeling of rest. Its improvisational touch on the canvas allows me to feel moved.

Impressionism HD. This app just like all the other art applications developed by Evolution games is a great addition to one's collection. Just like all the other apps you can view the images in multiple ways, bookmark the images, download the images and share the images. The collection itself is high quality with works from Van Gogh, Degas, Monet and other artists from the period. The app also displays works from multiple genres including animals, landscapes and self portraits. The one real drawback is that it is buggier than the other apps I have used so it could use a bit of refinement. Besides that Impressionism HD comes highly recommended.

Excellent art resource, but would like to have more viewing options. I love all the art. It would get 5 stars if it provided sorting options. For example, after watching the movie Renoir, I wanted to see all the painting from the period of the movie. I could search on Renoir and view all his work, however, I couldn't view them in chronological order. It was sort of in alphabetical order, though not entirely.

Appreciated. Full screen capability will be anticipated! Ability to 'black-frame' is appreciated, until that happens. This is one of the most relaxing apps on the internet. Mind crowded with cares? The brain needs pictures to induce the first stages of sleep. Impressionistic art is a gift to yourself!

Beauty for your eyes and ears.. I highly recommend this collection from Evolution Games and all of their apps. Exquisite luminance.. Haven't tried hooking up w/HDTV yet, but on iPad you can study brush stokes in great detail. Will be interesting to compare w/actual paintings in galleries to determine color accuracy.

Viewing options makes this worthwhile.. It is a really nice option to be able to view the paintings by artist. A real pleasant way to get your "Impressionist" fix.

Cool app. This is a great app. Lots of great art. The only thing is somewhat difficult to download and save art to drive or file. Hard to use to select to use as wallpaper.

When I am down . . . .. This has to be the most energizing and elating site around. The color, the texture, the images - i am inspired to sketch, sculpt or write every single time I visit. I love this place. What I need to do is arrange tours for kids, while the background and life of the artist is described.

Highly recommended. A very nice art gallery for your iPad. Not truly comprehensive, nor necessarily including "the best" of each artist's work (which would be a matter of debate anyway), but that would be nearly impossible given the number or artists represented. Like when visiting a museum, enjoy what is presented rather than concern oneself over what isn't. The app does include a fine, extensive selection, organized for ease of use. Bargain priced and content rich, this app is highly recommended for those who enjoy Impressionistic art.

Nice app. Looks great on the ipad

Extremely enjoyable. Can lose yourself for hours looking at the works. They show up great. Never had a problem with this app. Highly recommend.

One of the Best. How soothing it is to sit in a comfy chair and pour over the beautiful paintings presented in this app. While not as good as visiting a museum, I can spend much more time studying each painting without being jostled in a crowd. May I suggest putting each artist's paintings in order of date painted and in which museum or private collection it resides? If not by date then put all the horizontal images together so the viewer doesn't have to keep turning the iPad to adjust for vertical and horizontal views.

A good app.. Impressed!

Lovely but limited. A collection of many lovely pieces from the period, but mostly second tier paintings of the obvious masters. Possibly missing those from a few specific museums? Would be interesting to know.

False Advertisement, No High Resolution and Poor Selection. False advertisement, the painting in Impressionism are bunch of poor quality, poorly selected scans of mostly black and white "sketches" and few color blurry images, completely. Even the famous Getty collection looks bad in this app. You are better off searching for images on a search engine.

Beautiful HD images. The app provides some stunning images and you can download them or Email them. They are filed by useful categories and each is accompanied by a short description. Nearly as good as going to the art museum.

Awesome educational app. I have little knowledge in art. The artist bios accompanying the prices were really intriguing. I. Recommend this app to anyone who owns an iPad. The downloadable HD images are worth it alone.

My Escape. This is my go-to app for relaxing and unwinding. I love the variety of artists and style. I would like to see more works added.

Like having your own library of high definition art books.. Like having your own library of high definition art books is the least I can say. Big file, but well worth the space if you're an art lover.

Art for the Masses. It's a privilege to view great masterpieces and to study at length in the privacy of your own screen is breathtaking.

Very Good. Really enjoy this app. Good quick way to see a lot and compare. Would like some history of the artists, and the pieces of art. Discussions of various critiques, and pronunciation of artist would also make the app more engaging.

Great pictures, inadequate information. The pictures included here are very appealing. And it's particularly useful to see a sequence of works by the same artist. I haven't yet found information about each painting, and that would make for a great improvement.

Monet, Manet. Accessing Edouard Manet's "bio" in this app unfortunately gives you the information for Claude Monet, which unfortunately is something Manet had to deal with often in his lifetime. This is sad, but hopefully can be fixed?
