High hopes. Clever idea, but it needs some development. It's not worth $4. to me. If you have a sweep second hand on your watch or clock, a pencil and a piece of paper, you don't really need this app. You could add: Prerecorded orientation questions to choose from, sound record/playback on the questions/answers, Photo library. Just sayin'

Don’t waste your $. This app only has three type yourself questions but it doesn’t give the patient the answer, you’re better off using flash cards for your dementia patients. What a waste of money it’s an extremely simple app some kid could make in their basement.

Great with my dementia patients!. I love this app for working with my patients with dementia. Spaced retrieval is excellent for helping individuals with dementia remember important things (names of caregivers, where they live, where to look if they need to find information, etc.). I love that with this app, I don't have to constantly check my watch to see if its time to ask the question again, or set my cell phones alarm clock for a dozen different time intervals. I haven't tried this with any of my patients other than those with dementia, but I am excited to do so in the future!

Not worth $3.99. This app is too simplistic. I could perform the exercises in exactly the same manner with the stop watch on the iPhone. The user should at least be able to save training sessions for future use. Also the timing is confusing. The SRT therapy itself is brilliant and everyone should try it, but the app itself needs a major overhaul.

Ugh. This is a glitchy app, and it doesn’t let you close your keyboard after entering the question. So then you are just stuck in limbo in front of the patient. It is useless and a waste of money.

SRT app perfect for Pt needs. Bought this for iPadAir yesterday. Really needed the SRT to assist in improving short-term memory skills. Appreciate the data feedback for documentation. Pt loved it!

Great for patients with TBI!. Spaced Retrieval TherAppy is one of the many great applications by Tactus Therapy Solutions. You can customize the application by adding your own questions and choosing the time intervals for how often to ask questions related to time, orientation, naming objects, memory strategies, etc. This is exactly what I worked on when I was working with people who had TBI in a clinic, but simpified to fit in your pocket. In addition, the application comes with instructions of how to use it as well as the ability to record data and e-mail it to yourself. This cuts down on time recording data. It would be great to have a recording function on this app in the future for those who have difficulty reading/have lost the skill of reading fluently.

Very Useful!. I found this app to be extremely useful during therapy sessions. When juggling multiple activities it can be difficult to remember to cue a patient for each specific interval. This app makes spaced retrieval an easy way to incorporate prospective and short term memory tasks into treatment

Makes SRT data collection effortless. Simple, easy way to quickly take data. The option to email the results of the therapy session streamlines documentation.

Worthless. It literally just prompts you to answer same question at a repeated interval. No help for SLPs doing therapy. Wish I could get a refund.

I've been waiting for this!. I have been struggling with keeping track of intervals for this therapy style for awhile with my brain injury patients, and when my stopwatch broke, I nearly gave up. Now I can use my iPad to not only track time, but data too! Love this app! Thanks!
