Review. I lived in Maryland 23 years before moving to Washington state and I miss TV from Charm City. Having apps from Ch. 2 and other stations keeps me in touch with Bawlmer, hon. 😀

Too many ads. The app is cool. Useful and informative. My issues are with the ads where the video plays out loud whether it's selected or not.

WMAR 2 = GREAT NEWS APP!. WMAR 2 APP IS INFORMATIVE, UP-TO-DATE/TIME, EASY TO UNDERSTAND, USE & NAVIGATE!

Still needs work. While the ads have been reduced,it is now slower. You have to scroll to see the next story. What happened to the headlines, national & local stories, sports,etc. these are the reason I deleted your competitors news apps. Seems the same developers are building the same junk for everyone!!!! Same template, different logo, same issues.

Horrible. Get it together!!! Misspelled words in articles and the wrong pictures with articles. Too many ads, too.

Former Baltimore Resident. I was born in Baltimore, and worked in and around the city for much of my adult life. My company is National and I’ve lived and traveled throughout the country. I find this App to be a great way to keep up with the City and State I love. I tried a few other Baltimore Apps and believe me none compare to this one. It’s very user friendly and the channel 2 on Air Personalities are simply great! Thank you for keeping me informed and making feel at home.

Great Station. I love this station. It’s the only one I watch. I wish they would change the stories on the website a little more, gets boring seeing the same one for days.

OMG the amount of ads. The amount of ads displayed is insane. The only way to remove ads is to pay up to $9.99/year not just a one time small fee. Additionally there are ads that auto play when opening stories. Not sure when the news app became so ad intensive.

Great news app. Relevant breaking news alerts sent right to my phone!

Traffic. I use the traffic app every morning and evening! It's the best!

Too busy. The new app is just too much content for me. Too much scrolling, too many ads. But it does look better on the tablet compared to the phone. I prefer the previous version.

How to ruin an app. The new design is horrible. Need to scroll 30 times to see a few headlines, with lots of ads in between. Can't find the traffic or where the regional news are. The app is ruined. What a waste of developer time. I do like the previous version, and used it daily, so I restored my iPhone backup to get it back. Beware, do NOT update. You will regret it!

Annoying surveys must be completed before you can access the story.. This is one of the most annoying apps. They'll give you the headline, but to access the actual story or info, you must complete a survey. I just want the news. If the creators removed this feature, it could possibly be a 4-5 star app. As it stands now, I've deleted it. There are better local news apps available.

ABC2 News. This is a solid news app. It's easy to navigate is up-to-date with breaking news and weather and the videos are easy to access. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for Baltimore news.

It's Not Broke So Let's FIX It¡. One more app that has been FIXED for those with no attention span and actual use for various aspects of the news. Your traffic feature was the best in the Baltimore metro area. I used it religiously before leaving work and going on trips. Knowing how the traffic was flowing relieved a lot of stress as I drove twice a week during rush hour to drive from Harford Cty to Bethesda for my brother's chemo. I also liked the way news was broken down by county. I deleted the other local news apps because they were inefficient and unreliable; you have now joined the ranks. I can't quite figure out what the value of this app is now; but based on similar post "down-date" reviews we'll see if you value the opinions of your audience.

Ads. I am deleting this app today. I won't be forced to sit through an advertisement every time I read an article. There are other local news apps that are available for me to use that are not so aggressive with their advertising. (I liked this app before today)

This is the best local news app in the market. The app is simple, intuitive, user friendly, and clean. I couldn't ask for a better app to learn about the community.

Probably will uninstall.. Updated, but definitely not for the better. I thought the last version was worse than the one before that, and now this one is even worse. Requires too much scrolling, and where is the traffic map?

Very intuitive. Everything is at your fingertips whether it be news, weather, sports, traffic, etc. This app functions perfectly.

Most up to date news. Most up to date news source for local and nationwide events as well as great videos of news topics .

Not too shabby. The app is a decent one. My only complaint is the stories repeat themselves on the history and seem very short on context. All in all it’s a good way to get local news for Baltimore.

Good news app. Simple, easy to use. I like how it is easier to find photos and video. It's the only Baltimore news app that I use.

Adds Scroll!!!. If your put adds in the app make them scroll with the news (hum hum like Fox)!!! Other then that app is allot better...

Awful. I used the old app multiple times per day, I really like the old layout and how the news stories were divided by county. The new layout in the new app is awful, don't fix what is not broken, change it back to the old version.

Done.. When the top five stories are not local, what’s the point of having this app? Nothing on the current flooding happening here in the metro area, but I can find out about some guy arrested in Arizona. Too many fluff/sensationalist pieces to be any use to me. I have other national news sites for these purposes and I just need to access local news quickly. Sadly this app is not a good option for this in my opinion.

Not worth it (I know it's free). Good for basic info but it makes no sense to have "click here" written in the article with no clickable links!!!!! How annoying is that?! And the videos don't work in the app. I am deleting...

Best news app in area. Most robust news app in Baltimore. I like that almost every story has video!

News. I read the news all the time and when I want to know a little more about Baltimore I tune in! 😀😀😀

I love this app!. It’s very informative and always up on all stories...I watch them on Tv and Computer and my Smart Phone!

Used to be my favorite. Just deleted it. Of all the Baltimore news apps I found this to be the most intuitive and least intrusive. The latest update is an irritant. Now I get stuck without a way to get back to the main page and hit with multiple ads as I try to navigate out. So goodbye to that. The desire for revenue clearly supersedes the desire to build a strong viewer base. Dumb.

Mistakes Were Made. Why they redesigned the original app is beyond me. It was an utter mistake to have ridiculously huge headlines, followed by even more ridiculously huge ads. I'll give it another month to try and get used to it, if changes are made, it's gone from my phone.

WMAR news review. I love Kelly and Jamie . They are 2 news anchors who offer an excellent alternative to the other stations . They are always sincere and they are not there to impress us with who they are when it comes to their talent as journalists. This makes them the best journalists . They take time to explain the news . They are truly one of us ! ❤️

Disappointment from prior app. What a shame. You had such a wonderful app that allowed you to look at the weather other than Baltimore. And it was easy to use. We are not a big state but weather on the eastern shore is not the same as Baltimore. Your new app doesn't allow you to include your location or even locations you may be visiting. Not as user friendly. You have to do so much just to get to the traffic sections you want to look at. I use to show this to everyone. Now I will be discontinuing it to find something better. Bad move.

UNFRIENDLY USER!. The updated is horrendous. It's not user friendly and I cannot live stream the local news through the app. The only way I can watch it is by going on the web page. Why did you have to change it?

Latest Upgrade BIG Mistake. The latest upgrade was a serious mistake. Many user features were removed. The previous version allowed the user to select news from local areas such as their county or select sports, etc. The latest upgrade removed all capability to select your county for local news. All news is posted in a single scrolling feed that scrambles news, sports, human interest stories, and weather all together. This used to be my go-to news app, but since the latest upgrade it is definitely the worst news app I've seen for my local area. Luckily, I had not upgraded it in iTunes and was able to reload the old version back onto my phone. Bottom line, don't waste your time downloading this app. Find another local news app such as Fox 45.

The best for Balto local. Remember the Baltimore riots? This app owned the coverage. They were the guys with the mom beating the crap outta her kid for rioting. That Charley Crowson dude cracks me up in the AM. Overall, I saw download this. They mosdef put in the work on not just being a repeat of what's on the TV cast. Uncle Bilecki

best traffic map. I use the traffic map ever morning. Very accurate and helpful!!

Not good.. Please do not put the videos with the news articles. It adds way too much scrolling. One of the reasons the app was good before was how easy it was to get to the articles. Now it's just annoying.

Fast, Fair, and Accurate. Loving the current version ABC Channel 2 app, finding it fast, fair, and accurate.

Old app was easier. The old app was easier to navigate and much more user friendly. This one is more like wbal's app which is totally unusable. Now I have to go to wbff's app which is the only local news app that is easy to use. Very disappointed in this update.

What Happened?. Whatever update was made on 12/17/2015 was NOT an improvement. Deleted it from my iPad.

Bad update. This used to be my go to app for traffic conditions and now they removed it completely. Too many adds and now it's terrible. Already deleted from my phone. Too bad, it used to be a good app.

Location services. Why does location services need to be on all the time for news w/weather app?

Not Good. Latest update is terrible. Headlines too large. What happened to the traffic section?

App Has No "Multitasking". "App does not have multitasking. It also stops some music apps if you go on the WMAR app while playing music. And from the WMAR app, going back to music OR mail and back to the WMAR app also re-starts it to home page. Not very smart. "

App crashes when opening. Have tried redownloading with no luck

Too Many Spelling and Grammatical Errors. The articles are always very badly written and have too many spelling and grammatical errors.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!. This app use to be *****, no it gets **. The new layout is garbage, please change it back!!!!!!

Ruined. You took many of the elements that made the WBAL app so bad and incorporated them into your app. Way to go. Too much scrolling!

Annoying app.. When this app is viewed in landscape mode the percentage of screen space taken up by ads is VERY annoying. That make this app useless. Thus, it has been deleted.

Ad-fest. Don't bother with this one. It's spam punctuated with poorly edited stories and crappy video.

Poor on an iPad. This is the worst news app I have seen on an ipad .Maybe it looks better on a phone. On the chance that the iPad version is just as bad , I won't waste $2.99.
