Crashed. But now it works.. I must admit that it did crash in the beginning after the update. Now, it works perfect once I updated it. I would recommend this app to everybody (especially the 'rainbow' filter)

it's a trap.. Wow. I'm a fool. I failed to read the parentheses. it says "get 4 new effects" and in parentheses says 4 effects that are already there! all paying a dollar does is remove the ads. haha. ohhh I was fooled!!! the app itself isn't bad though. I don't know why those people are saying you can't save the pictures. it saves them when you hit the save button.......

beautiful filters but... most of them are very overpowering in color saturation and the contrast can be too great also. if I could make a suggestion it would be to add a few sliders for more control- helpful ones would be contrast, effect intensity, and overall brightness. if you could add these things this could easily become my go-to app for the first step of my editing! :)

Best app!. I use this app all the time! It has incredible filters! I do wish you could upload a picture and use the edits!

Upset. This app's features are amazing. However, when I edit a picture it automatically puts it on facebook without me telling it to. It wouldn't be a problem however, some of these picture I would only send to my bf.

I love this.. I've been using this app for a while & I love the updates with new free filters. Better than other "vintage" camera apps!

Amazing app!. The most coolest camera app I use it a lot the time totally worth downloading I recommend it to anybody and everybody easy to upload photos to Facebook and never fails to amaze me just wish watermelon and morning were free! But the rest is just perfect!

Love it. I love this app. It's one of the best photo apps I've tried. My only complaint is that it will crash if I use it for more than a minute or two. Hope they get that fixed! Still worth it though.

Not as good as intagram. This doesn't have as many filters as instagram, and the filters aren't as good either. Plus, do you have to pay for locked filters? No thanks. Sorry, I don't think this app is horrible by any means, I just don't see the point of using an app that is inferior. If you come up with really unique filters or new fun ways to edit photos I will definitely take a second look, but for now I'll stick with instagram!

Alright, now I'm begging.. Please. Please please PLEASE. Please add the option to remove the frames. I love this app; I don't want to delete it. However, I'm afraid that the frames ruin the quality of the shot by cutting out some of the picture that are wanted originally. Please.

Major complaint. So I like the app and the options that are free but I have one major complaint. When you take a photo then choose the effect it takes you to another page about sharing. I did not want to share this photo because it was our baby on the way's name that we were keeping secret till she's born. Well I thought I was not choosing to post this photo by clicking done or save. Never selecting Facebook or tweeting it only for me to get a phonecall from my family saying the name was now posted for everyone to see!!! Very disappointing to me and I was heartbroken. Nowhere on the page does it say cancel or whatever. That's my only complaint.

Great!. This app is totally worth your time. The filters are great and add the perfect touches to my pictures. I use Vintage Camera all the time, for almost every photo I take! Definitely a must-have.

Endless Fun. I have been enjoying this App now for over 4 months and just love the options and look it adds to my iTouch photos, highly recommend!

I love it but.... I wish it was updated! It has cool filters and borders but definitely we need some more! Update this app, please! 🙏🏽

Crashes!. Crashes before I can finish editing a photo. What use is that? Also disappointed they locked filters that were once free. Seems like everything you click on tries to get you to buy the full version. There are plenty of photo apps to choose from, but I guess this is no longer one of them.

Great app. this app has great effects and makes the pictures look amazing. Also it dose save pictures just after you press save it takes you to a screen to share it then you just press done and it will be saved

Cool!. I love this app so much! These filters are what I want for my photos. I love this app's filters than instagram's (I know that one u can share ur photo blah blah but I don't care, I don't need it.) but have to tell u guys than when u use it fr a couple of time they r gonna ask u randomly to buy fr$0.99 and if u don't, u can't save that photo. Anyway I love it so much so I did pay. Worth ur money. This app is cool.

Good but.... The photos come out nice but it takes so many push-of-buttons in order to take a photo. Is it really necessary make us press a button to begin to take a picture, one to save and then another one to say that we are done?? Soooooo unnneccessary!! Very frustrating design as i like the camera.

I have to admit. I have to admit that I use this app more than Instagram. I'm happy with a lot of my square photos but I sometimes wish I didn't had them but overall I'm happy. I have the free version and I love it!

Limited control. I used to like it but once I've signed up w. Facebook and now all the picture I take and save, brings right up to Facebook feature and you only can upload it or delete it. Not very user friendly.

Cute effects😍. But I never understood why the preview for a photo effect on any app isn't he photo you took...I like it better that way because then you don't have to tediously go back and forth decided which looks better 😲 but other than me being picky I like it ;D

Awesome app. I understand that people are mad cuz it crashes, but I haven't experienced that problem and I don't think I will. This is an awesome app and I would highly recommend it, but only if ur IPod can handle it ;)

Awesome. It's the best color effect app that I have. It has nice effects and it's fast, unlike other color effect apps I've had where you have to wait a few seconds for the effect to be applied. Also, it's easy to use. I love It!!!

Ugh. I really like all the different filters they are all very original but the app will only let me save one photo. I've made other photos an when I press save it a pop up appears asking me of I want to upgrade. It will not let me save unless I agree to buy the upgrade, this rendering this app totally useless. If this was fixed I would definitely give it 4 or 5 stars!!!

Really love it. I'm choosing to upgrade C: seems you can get the other effects and the Flash with it. Only a dollar however, so nicely priced. This app gets so addicting to use too xD

Read this developers. Me being a designer, I love the interface and all the filters that it offers, but one complain is that the designer for this didn't include different states for each button. There is no feedback as you touch a button, that's not good. The user experience would greatly improve if you make the app more interactive to the users.

Love the effects. I really like this app the effects are nice and they just added a new one called cafe mocha which I really like :) I just wish that they didn't cut so much of my pic off by other than that its pretty good. I hope they add new effects in the future!

Works well but.... The camera works great and I love the different settings. However I upgraded last week and paid $.99 to have the extra options and now they are locked again?!?! I don't know of this is a error or if it's a ploy to get you to pay again.... I'm quite annoyed at this

Obsessed. I Love this App. It gives my pictures a punch! When I dont want jst a simple filter I use this app, currently everyday! However I would suggest If you can make the borders black or white optional. Sometimes I want no borders at all jst the filter and I think it would make it more useful if not only it was optional but if we could pick our own color. I use it for my pictures on IG and FB, everyone loves them and I tell everyone it's VINTAGE CAMERA!

Awesome app!. You don't need to upgrade to the full version! Just take a picture of your picture with the premium effect, crop the picture, & save money!

stands on its own. I originally only downloaded this because it was free and I'm an iphone camera app addict. At first, it seemed like just an Instagram clone. It works almost in an identical fashion, but then as I played with it, I really started to enjoy some of the filters. While it's free (or even at .99), this is definitely a good grab.

Update fixed the crashing. Everyone can stop complaining about the crashing..the latest update fixed all the problems so update your phones! Finally can start using this app again..now lets get those new filters you've been talking about!

Love it. I love this app. The filters give my pictures the artistic theme the default camera app just can't achieve. And I love the fact that I can filter pics already in my phone.

Cool little gem!. Yeah it was down for a few days but that many 1 star reviews seems a little fishy! I have alot of camera apps, this is not the best but its fun to play around with and some of the filters are just right! They update with new filters once in awile(could use a few more).

Saving the photos. I live the filters they offer. However, it only saves the photos in the app itself. Before the upgrade they used to save directly to my camera roll. Now I have no idea how to get them from the app to my saved photos. Plus, you can only take portrait oriented hits with this. If you take a landscape oriented one, it saves it sideways because it only does portraits.

Great app. This is a great app very simple and great filters you should add a feature where you can take off the boarders and a focus feature too in the next update

Bit of problems. The app works GREAT! The only problem with it is that it crashes after you've uploaded a couple pictures in a row, and the picture is squished if it's not cropped. Fix that, and you've got the perfect pic editing app!:D

BETTER than instagram. My problem with instagram is the fact that to take pictures you have to be on the internet. I use my iPod touch to take pictures all of the time and vintage camera has given me awesome filters that make for cool photos. I LOVE this app and I can use it wherever I am. I like it so much that I purchased the full version to support. Someone wrote that you can't save to camera roll but YOU CAN. when you save it saves right into your photos. Great app!

Awesome App. Besides the fact that it is free and takes up little space, this app also gives various high quality filters. This was the first camera app I've used and am still using it to edit my photos today. Come see for yourself. My instagram name is auer7 thanks.

I love it!!!. This app has very unique filters to edit your photos and they all come out beautifully! I loved it so much that I ended up buying the $0.99 extra features. Definitely recommended!

I like this better than the Hipstamatic Apps. The hipstamatic Apps now only offer low resolution pics and you have to pay for "film" or effects. They is WAY better. Runs great, comes with more effects than you will ever use and is totally free. I would of easily paid a buck for this app. Very happy.

Sorry-All my purchased filters are gone??. I try again to save my edited photo with the purchased filters (which all of it still have lock sign) and the notification told me to buy the professional edition (which i already purchased) so i tapped on yes, and the next notification told me that i already buy it, and then my edited photo can be saved, and ALL my purchased items are back. Sorry Vintage cam 😔

Amazing!. Has such great filter options even in the free mode. Never had it crash. I wish it had a timer option though :/

Latest Update Lost Magic. The latest update took the magic away from my favorite filter, Havana :( really sad about this, if possible could you please bring the sparkles back✨ I also wanted to buy the pack but only for the old morning, this updated morning is very pretty but looks more like an evening⛅ why not just add it as a new filter? Please change this soon!!

Crashes too much. Overall this app is amazing and I would recommend it! BUT it has been crashing 24/7 and I can not finish my pictures without it doing so a handfull of times, please fix this and this app will b the best ever!

I don't have any problems (;. It's not really that bad, but when you take a picture, it takes about twenty seconds to load to the editing part. I like this app, I love vintage photography, :).

Option to remove/add borders. I love the effects on this app but I think we should be given an option to remove or add borders to the pics! I would like this app even more with that option!

Disappointment. This app is a waste of your time. You can't save the photos, the filters are low quality, there a very little features and the loading time between each filter is just irritating. Very disappointing app.

Crashes too much!. Great app use it quite often although recently it keeps crashing when you try apply a filter!

Good app. For those of you who can't save a photo to your device, go on settings and switch on automatically saving a photo to ur device. If that's on, the photo will be there in your camera roll

Limited. Does not let me access my photos from library only let's you create new photos on the spot, which means you can't edit any already existing photos. If it wasn't for that it would be a good simple app for vintage filters.

Great!. Great app! Only thing stopping it from being a 5 Star app is the ability to use a photo from your photo library - hope to see it soon in the future.

WORST App Ever. Doesn't allow u to save your photo. Yes I have the setting set to save. What's the point in having an app that doesn't allow u to save. This app should even have iTunes approval. They just want u to upgrade to the pro version. Rip off

Don't update!!!!!. The effects and everything is very cool but before the update I had no adds and didn't have to buy rockstar, watermelon, morning and Hollywood. But then I updated it and got adds and had to pay for rockstar, watermelon, morning and Hollywood.

Not happy. I paid to unlock the filters when I had my old phone and I had to reboot my iphone4 and the filters are locked again! Why do u make people pay twice for the same thing this is illegal

Frustrating. It could be a really awesome free app but it always crashes before it saves the photo. Super frustrating!!!! I just wish it would work!!!!!! 

Disappointed :-(. Thought I'd give this app a go considering the reviews said you could save more than 2 pics once the settings were changed. I did this & still cannot save more than the 2 pics without upgrading. The effects are good but should be able to utilise it more :-(

Ripped off!!!. I had this free version and was able to access all filters then I did the update to get the new mocha one and then lost access to 4 of my favorite filters only to see I now have to pay to get them back? No mention of that in the "upgrade"

Fix please!!. Great app i always used to use it but keeps crashing every time you add an effect, worked fine before I updated my iPod to ios6. Please fix this!!

Upgrade ransom !!!. I thought it was heaps good until it asked me to pay for an upgrade for three options I already had. Now I can't use it at all cause I refuse to upgrade and it won't let me use it til I do! So they are holding the app ransom til they get my monies. I don't negotiate with criminals (always wanted to say that line!). Anyway it's good until they force ya to upgrade. Now it's a waste of space.

Vintage camera. It's very creative and If you just take a boring pic you can spice it up with the colors that are laid out on the page after you have finished. This vintage cam can really make you feel like your using the real vintage camera.

Not worth downloading. You can't actually use this app without having to purchase the pro version. So no point downloading this app when you can't even save the photos after using the effects on them. Because this was misleading, i honestly wouldn't even download the pro version.

Luvit. Really love the filters. Was more than happy to purchased the paid version. Would be great if the app would support the use of the volume button on the side of the iPhone 4 to take the picture rather than just the button on the screen. All in all, great app that I'd recommend to anyone that loves photography apps.

The app is fine!. Not sure what everyone is going on about - this app works fine and you can most definitely save photos (I do everytime) and I edit heaps of photos.. it's just the same as instagram

.... At first it was so amazing but them I upgraded it for free and it took away FOUR effects which is bad and it ALWAYS crashes when I try and save the photo... It's a shame I used to like it but if they don't fix the bug then it's getting deleted

Loved this app until latest update. I used this app almost everyday until latest update which locked 4 effects which I previously had use of for free! Why would anyone pay to use effects they used to use for FREE!? A step backwards!!! 👎👎👎

Snap shot. To use the professional edition without buying it all you do is take a snap shot of the picture with the effect on it and crop it so all you can see is the picture 😄 smart huh 😉😉

Rubbish. Downloaded app and deleted within 24hrs. I'm a regular user of Instagram & love vintage effects. This may have the required filters etc. but is extremely non user friendly. I found it very slow & clumsy in it's interface. Have deleted & will stick with Instagram. One star for effort.

Extremely fantastic.. This app is one of the best apps I've ever downloaded. I'm always looking for a vintage type effect on my photo and I've downloaded many apps for this, but Vintage Camera beats it by far, and not just by one effect but all of them. Thanks for such a brilliant app.

Useless. Unable to save without upgrading. Quits unexpectedly when you leave "effects". Slow to do anything. Sad app.

Great photo editing app. The effects look vintage and the app is great for editing boring old pics into cool awesome ones. I don't know why most of the reviews are bad, I'd actually perfer this over instagram since it's simple and easy to use.

Garbage. Complete garbage it randomly closes

Lost features?. I loved using this app until I updated it and now the features that used to be free aren't anymore... Kind of a let down

From first to last. Pretty good app! But I don't understand why you made the effects that were free paid. That was just stupid

Ok. It's good but it takes lots of try's for you to get the effect cause, it closes everytime you try to put the effect on the photo but its nice when you get the effect (long time)

Froze up. Fun app takes cool pics but completely froze up when I tried to upload a pic and stopped working

Crashes. Really cool effect, but after about 30 seconds it freezes and exits the app... Not fun!

Meh. Downloaded it, opened it, waited....waited... And then it shut off on me. I tried a bunch of times only to come to the same result. I deleted it.

Instigram > vintagecam. Copies ig filters, similar name, runs choppy.. Hmm. You're better off to just get instigram. More filters, and it's set up as a social media plug. This, however, is not.

Be careful $$$. Liked the app so I bought the ad free version. Had to do a restore and somehow it was lost. I reported the problem and they don't care. I'll be looking for a different camera app since there are many others. This one isn't worth paying for TWICE.

DON'T BUY THIS APP. i bought the full version and it's telling me i didn't! other then that fact, i haven't been able to use this app once yet! it crashes every time i try to, and judging from many other reviews, it's a big problem with it. don't buy it! instagram is free and actually works, and other apps. don't waste your money till they get a bug fix.

Upgrade screwed me. I loved this app - I never even tried Instgram because I was so happy with it. I just downloaded a suggested upgrade and now options that used to be available to use (like watermelon) are not unless I upgrade. Lame.

Update ➡ it's 5 🌟. UPDATED 👇 Finally I decided to re-install this app, restore the in app purchases, then it works perfectly. So I'm giving back the one star I take down before. It is completely 5 star rate for Vintage Cam!! -previous review- I really like this app, but now I can't save my photos everytime I try to edit any photo from my photo library. The app suddenly black out and then shuts down. Please fix it. Thanks.

I love photos can save my phone's photo gallery and It connected all photos.. It is great App and user friendly. iAds is bothering me but I love vintage app. :) Thank you for the building nice app.

Wish It worked. Every time I go to add an effect on a picture it just loads loads loads then quits out. This has happened every time without fail when I try to edit a pic. This app has great effects but is not worth the space or frustration it takes up. There are plenty of other photo editing apps that actually do work

Shouldnt force square photos.. The app is fine, but it does little to differentiate from Instagram. Why not allow Nonsquare photos to compete with instagram? Dont try to BE instagram. Differentiate. Instagram is free, with better filters. :-/

Hey read I have a tip!. You can use a screenshot! Home button plus sleep button. Just zoom a little and slide to get rid of ads in pic album! Its so easy!! Haha to the app makers!

Always use it. Wish I could use my whole picture sometimes but it's great, fun, n easy to use.

Keep crashing. I love this app but it keeps crashing.. It's a love-hate relationship. Need more filters and pleas stop asking me to get professional version. If I want it, I will get it. So asking me more than once, annoy me.

Crash, crash, and crash?. Just downloaded this app, and it looks amazing, but when I tried applying a first filter and it crashed as it was processing the filter. Needs work. Great filters but too many ads. When you put it in the background you lose what you're doing. Also it should save original and import from camera roll. Do that and you got it!

Xcxxxxxx. One of the best apps available in cameras. I recently visited SE Asia and almost exclusively used the Vintage. Sharp images, stable and quick processing and upload to outlets like FB. Awesome!

Decent. Camera app but upgrading removes four filters that were available for free in the first version. To get them back you have to get the pro version. Bad form.

Really Great !. This app has never crashed on me & I have been using it for a long time now. Love all the effects & makes my pictures look so much nicer & prettier!

Must have for photographers!. Soo fun to use! I have taken hundreds of pics with this already and absolutely love it!

Good camera. Soooo this app is one of my favorites for the effects, but it's really slow...and it crashes a lot. Other than that the pics and effects are amazing! (:

Its good, but it crashes. It crashes before i can even finish editing a picture, but as far as the edits i like it a lot. Thats my only concern so far!

Not bad but. I don't understand photo editing or camera apps that automatically crop your photos. Obviously took a picture to capture all that was in it. Other than that its good.

Its ok. The effects are amazing but if I could actually save the thing then that would be nice. What I'm trying to say is that it crashes before you can save or sometimes even put an effect.

Good but.... Keeps crashing. Which is really annoying (not to mention tragic when you're working on a great picture and it crashes and you lose that picture forever). No working on old pictures either. Otherwise not bad. Cool effects.

Easy & great looking. Love your app!! It's super easy & all the filters are great, but I would love if you added more diversity to the filter effects.

Great App. I like the throwback filters. There are more available if you want to buy them but I'm cheap and the free one does what I need it to.

Meh. Only get this app of your looking to add some extra vintage filters to your toolbox ( which is why I got it). Otherwise there isn't any reason to buy it, it's fairly limited functionality wise.

Question?. This is a good app, but I want to know if you could use the photos you already have as edit them? :/ I don't think so

The Update Takes The Goodies Away!. Like the others say, I loved this app til they locked the some of the features that were once free. Makes sense to just offer NEW filters for a premium price if they want to make money off the app, I'd purchase then. Other than that I love the app.

Wish it had a few more features. Why doesn't it save the photos to my photostream? I have to email the photos to myself. It's a big pain. And why won't it let u save a photo before picking an effect?

Love it. It's probably the best (free) photo app that can do things others can't. You can only use like 85% of it unless you pay though

Love this app!. I love love this app! I'm surprised to see it not at least 4 stars but I'd like to see the option of not having to crop my pictures and not using the white border! I really like the two recent updates! They're GREAT filters!

Most used. this is the most used app on my iTouch, awesome filters, great graphics, but i especially love the photo history strip thingy, so pretty. ❤❤❤this app :)

It keeps crashing.... This app is great and all but I didn't like the update, I wish I never did. Secondly every time I take a picture it crashes. Please fix this wonderful app!

Bugs. It has really neat filters but after finding the best match, it crashes! I also realized that whenever It dose not crash, it won't save. But it usually crashes within a few seconds.

Could be an awesome filter app. ...if it didn't badger me about upgrading to every time I tried to use it - and then not let me use it at all if I declined. Deleting and trying one of the hundreds of others that do the same.

Good but. It crashes a lot and I don't like that I can't fit my whole picture. Sometimes crop is good but a lot of my pictures I take for the whole picture. Other than that great effects.

DON'T UPGRADE. Don't upgrade If u have installed it way before if u do it takes away 4filters and makes u buy pro to get them back. Other than that..it's pretty good. :)

Can't save images. This is a nice app and the filters are great. It makes your pictures look great, a lot like Instagram. The problem is, you can't save or share your pictures without upgrading. So really it's all pointless. They just want your money, stick with Instagram!!!

Very Cool. I love the icon and the effects might be a bit over done but other than that I works great!
