Love this app I use it to teach!!!. Love everything about it. Only thing I would change is maybe the planar heads. And have complete models like White models, Black Models, Asian models etc. Everyone has different features but their are some common traits amongst various, racial/ ethnic groups. Don’t. Be afraid to show it. The world is Chromatic embrace it!

Get it!. Like was said, if you are a serious artists - get it! I have (with MUCH practice) become quite proficient drawing/painting hands and feet. It is an acquired skill granted, and most powerful, since hands (and feet) can be very expressive, second only to faces. Handy makes it so much easier to get the pose you want, AND the lighting you want. Also, being African-American, I do so appreciate providing Black models as well with the ability to adjust skintones! Thanks Scott!

IF YOU. Don't like hands? Find drawing heads from different perspectives difficult? Have issues figuring out how fingers would logically be positioned? Find lighting difficult to predict and figure out? Then this app may just be for you. Seriously, this app lives up to it's namea very well. I honestly would have so many more issues with hands without it and it helps a lot with heads and lighting as well.

It’s almost perfect except…. I would give this app FIVE STARs if only all the head models can rotate and tilt around the neck. I was mildly disappointed when I saw the heads have no option for rigging. Because of that, their static pose lack personality compared to the hands and feet models. Give us artists some dynamic head angles to work with! Please consider it. If it’s to be a pay feature, I’ll buy it, because this app is so worth it!

Great App!. So pleased with this app. Every artist looks for the right hand position in in their reference material, or try’s to creat a position using their own hands. Yet they never quite get the exact position needed. With “Handy” you can create any hand position imaginable, and the perfect lightning position. This is a must have app for any artist!

Extremely useful!. I use this in tandem with photo references and it’s helped my art look so much better! I love being able to rotate to whatever angle I need and set up the exact lighting situation I want. The only limit is that you really only have the four options for faces, but that’s why I use it in combo with photo refs.

Not as easy to use as it claims. Not only was I struggling to get any precision with any of the models, but I couldn't choose which ones to bring forward when I did have multiple models. It was also very frustrating that I could only add three models. Also the fact that the model scenes don't save as transparencies makes me not want to even use them for references. Honestly I'd like a refund.

Necessary tool for artists!!. This app is an absolute dream for referencing, especially for artist like me who like to do dynamic hand gestures and interesting lighting. The only minor negative i’ve had is that sometimes the controls for moving around the objects can be finicky, especially if i’m trying to place multiple objects in one scene. However I do still think that this is definitely one of the best free tools for artists on the app store!!

Hands. HAAAAAANDS. And more!. Look. It’s great. It’s got lighting. It’s got vibes. It’s got skin tones. It’s got hand statures. And it’s got PROPS. and SKULLS. SKULLLLLLLLS. Basically, it’s amazing and I use it all the time. 1000% worth it, just get it, it’s great. Edit: totally forgot to mention, I’ve had this app for a while now and it CONTINUES to be SO GOOD.

Amazing!. This app is awesome, there's so much versatility and you can even choose the complexion of the thing your drawing. You can get any angle which makes it very helpful. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic reference tool. I use this for pretty much every single one of my drawings, specifically for hands and lighting studies. I’m pretty awful at drawing hands, and this app is a Godsend for that. You can adjust the hands and fingers as you need, and you can also adjust lighting and stuff. Super helpful!!

I use it every day!. I’m a professional illustrator and believe you can never have too much reference. A lot of reference you can get via Google, but often you need *just* the right angle. I have a full body reference poser that is also invaluable (artPose Pro) but when I need hands this app hits it out of the park. Truly a must have app!

A Great Asset. I was recommended this app my an artist I like on Tumblr. I usually don’t put stock in these types of apps - I’ve found most to be limited and disappointing. This one is a game changer though. I’ve found it a source of immense help. I expect to use this a lot as I continue to learn.

Wonderful app!. I was introduced this app by my partner and have used it for just about every drawing since then. I haven’t seen anything even come close to the level of customization this app has, definitely my all time favorite reference tool! My only complaint would be with posing, I had an issue today manipulating a skull on top of the mannequin head where I couldn’t anchor the skull down to be center aligned. This is really a small issue in the grand scheme of things and it definitely wont revoke any points from my rating though!

Literally the best art reference app I’ve ever seen. Art is something that truly helps me out in life, but recently, I had been struggling to find the drive to finish anything I started. This singlehandedly fixed that. If you have any interest in drawing humans, I suggest you get this app immediately. The only issue I can think of is that it’s pretty intensive on your battery, but as long as you can charge your device while using it, that won’t even be an problem. Beyond that, everything is near flawless. All of the features are virtual lifesavers when it comes to specific references and even just general understanding of your subject. The interface is intuitive and responsive, all of the menus are easy to navigate, and the developer support is great, too. Easiest five star rating I’ve ever had the pleasure of giving.

A MUST HAVE. As a working artist I have found this app to be invaluable, especially for drawing comics. Hand positions can be notoriously tricky to get right and this app has been a life saver. Add to that updates over time which have added lighting, interaction with objects, heads and skulls and I cannot praise this app enough.

Close, but not what I wanted.. I was so hoping for a app like Skelly. Where I could move each bone in the hand, and spin to the angle, move the light. The preset hands help, but not what I really need. Come on guys you can do better than this. Skelly cost $7 . I would happily pay that to get those hands. And put a flip function in there to do right and left.

Great app and great update!. I’ve been using this for years, and it’s invaluable to me. You can read the lengthier reviews for detailed raving comments. Nobody is exaggerating. One fix that I really love is that I can now smoothly move a model in arbitrarily small increments without the model “sticking” and then jumping too far. I find it distressing that the few bundled props are mainly weapons, but I’m sure I’m in the minority on that one.

This is great for those who struggle with hands. The amount of features this app has is amazing and they’re all beneficial. I love how much depth it has too it and I wish there were more apps who had the same vision in mind as this one. It doesn’t focus on monetization it just wants to help artists and I love that about this app.

Perfectly as advertised. It’s a great tool. There’s a little bit of a learning curve (or maybe I’m just dumb, lol), but it’s even more useful than I imagined it would be when I heard about it.

Yeth. Ah yes I am so grateful that because of my illustrious Kroger career I am now able to afford luxuries like this. This is what I call two dollars well spent. The feet cost extra but fear not my children the mutilated hands are completely free so if you ever want to add something more interesting to your drawings you can. I am disappointed that there are not many face models but that’s okay. I think “Caucasian male” and “Erin” are good enough for me.

Great App!. I've literally never rated an app, but this one is amazing. I'm a professional comic artist and having a quick head model that you can easily light while on the go is great for things like convention sketches or just solving lighting problems in your work :)

A godsend. Not to be dramatic or anything but this app singlehandedly saved my life. I mean I still hate drawing hands, but at least it’s slightly less terrible now. I would love an update that expands the amount of preset poses, but that’s just because I’m usually too lazy to customize the poses myself. 12/10 would recommend to a friend.

Well worth the couple bucks. I’ve been using this app for a little over a year now and beyond a shadow of a doubt this is exactly what I needed! I’m now a more proficient, confident, and daring illustrator because of this reference tool.

Helpful? Absolutely!!. This is one of the most useful apps EVER!!! Thanks! My only request would be for the addition of models for children. Not every illustration features only adults, and options for drawing children would be extremely useful.

Please allow us to import our own models. A solid base for an app! Though, the actual reference models don’t have a huge amount of of variety or mobility. Please let us upload our own 3d model assets or add more in the future! It would work really well with those full body pose apps that let you export a polygon mesh

Really nice on the go. It’s a great app that you can take anywhere to draw, I have used it to practice hands when I’m at the airport. But I think it’s a bit ridiculous to have to pay for the app, and then pay for different packs.

Great app with room for improvement. Great app but can be improved. If you could add the option of changing the backgrounds to the models. Simple black or solid color would be fine. Eventually add some children’s faces and hands, maybe morph targets.

Great for artists. This app has been so helpful. Not only does it help with anatomy but it also helps with lighting. It’s great for reference and it’s come to a point where I cannot live without this app. Although the app is perfect in my opinion, I do believe there should be new things added. I think it would be great to add even more light sources and to be able to position them on a xyz plane. And most importantly, it would be amazing to if there would be full body models that we can position. I would happily pay for these features. Other than that, this app is amazing. It’s definitely worth the money.

It’s alright but.... It’d be nice if you could adjust the skin tone as well. Lots of artists forget that people with darker skin have lighter palms. Also, artists would be able to see how different lighting situations affect different skin tones. Other than that, if they’re going to charge $6 to unlock the entire app, it should have more, like a full body model. Right now for the baseline payment it’s pretty much just heads and hands in only one skintone.

I love you guys!!. You have come up with more perfection!! You have always been amazing from day one and it just keeps getting better! I am very proud of your hard work and incredible imaginations. I think most of us artists have troubles with hands and feet, until you I’ve had 45 years of monster hands and feet, haha! I was hiding them in pockets, coats, folded arms, plants, etc. of my caricatures. Now I look like I might know what I’m doing, 😄

Amaaaaazing stuff. As a sequential artist at SCAD I have to draw hands a ton! It was so hard finding specific hand references. Also feet! Boy do I have to draw lots of those. Man it was a pain, but not anymore! I tell all my friends about this app (plz sponsor me lol) anyways, I’m a huge fan. This has been so helpful with anatomy. The lighting features are also super cool and let you adjust both day, night, and artificial light around the body piece.

Data harvesting, no privacy. I thought this app was ok until I decided to take a look at the developers privacy policy at the App Store. Look at the data this developer collects that is “linked to your identity”. This is completely uneccessary and to be honest, very unsettling. Response to Developer: Than why does your privacy policy show that the data your collecting is linked to my identity? Why not categorize this data collected as not linked to my identity? And why do you need location data?

Great tool to have. This is definitely a nice tool to have on standby. Especially with their animal head references. What’s nice is you can also save photos of your poses. So you can then add them to a reference folder, if you have one.

I love this app. When I need to look at head ref, this app is so useful for it. Not only head, but also with other materials like lighting, this app helps me a lot from many sides. It is pretty much worth to purchase.

Useful tool that has really improved my weak points asan artist.. I got this app a year ago but never had the chance to use it. It is must have if you want to learn how to draw hands. I just wish you can put two hands on the screen at once.

Needs an update, but overall good. I’ve only used this app for a couple of minutes. It has hands and heads included (have to pay for feet), and you can save poses and lighting rigs. You can control individual parts of a model, if the model has individual parts, and control lighting too. The models are pretty good. Few of the problems I have are, - The UI really needs an update - It’s hard to rotate the models, move individual lights, all the movement aspects in the 3D space since it’s all controlled by single touch -Touch controls could be more intuitive

Whaaaaaaat!. I cannot believe how few reviews there are for this app! Truly an indispensable tool! A must have for any artist digital or traditional. I used to use this on my phone before i got an iPad. Essential for the artist that struggles with good hand poses. There are times that the proportions seem a bit off but it still serves and amazing purpose. I wouldn’t mind an update. Js 🙏🏻

Fantastic Resource!. Makes life quite a bit easier, being able to view a number hand poses, props, and then change the individual placement of elements if necessary. I recommend the app to any artist looking to improve their craft.

LIFESAVER!!!. i REALLY wish i was better at drawing hands, but in the meantime, handy is my knight in shining armor. the props are so helpful too, since i struggle to get the form of a hand holding something. thank you guys for doing what every artist has been begging for.

Getting better all the time. The developers keep working on this app adding new content and improving the app overall. I started with the first release and have grown more impressed every year since. Worth every penny if you are an artist or just enjoy looking at hands and feet, disembodied heads or various skulls... I have found it invaluable over the years for reference and for practice.

Love this but I have some ideas for an update.. Well I love everything it’s quite useful, but I’d like if you had a model of the full body and we’d be able to move it. And for the head I would like to be able to move small bits on the face like the eyes and mouth to make expressions, otherwise it’s great! But I hope you will take this into consideration. 😊

Get this app!. Look, I’m a professional artist, been published in comics for over 20 years. THIS app is what it’s all about. My greatest weakness is hands and feet. I get by, but this app helps me do more than just that. If you’re an artist and want to spend a couple of bucks on an app, make it this one. Artist’s dream. This app is probably one of the best apps I’ve EVER downloaded!!! Hands have always been so hard for me, for years I’ve struggled with them, until I found this app. Being able to to pose the hands however I want at whatever angle I want has proven to be beyond useful, I’m finally able to grasp the hand anatomy the more I study these models!! I honestly don’t know what I’d do without this app, I didn’t realize how much I use it until I opened my app recently and was told I’ve opened it 100 times! (I thought the message was so cute!). Not only hands, but the head models I can pose have saved me. Being able to adjust the lighting allowed me to better understand how to shade my characters faces! Overall I am so utterly grateful for this apps existence!!!! To all artists out there, if you don’t have this app yet - get it!! You won’t regret it!

The best art reference app you could ever get. This has to be the BEST reference app I’ve EVER bought. I just wish you could position the head in different poses instead of it being at a natural pose. It still has amazing varieties of hands, lighting sources, etc. I highly recommend!

Great App but…. It is a great app, if a bit clunky at times to go from one page to another. But the only real problem that I see with it, is the lack a diversity other than age, gender, and race. Now many apps allow you to make subtle adjustment to all the parts of the face, and that is a very useful feature. The hand portion of Handy has achieved that level of sophistication. Now what about the faces? Hair would also be nice. Most women I know have hair or a wig.

Fantastic. I don’t write reviews for apps often, but this is one I find myself thankful to have purchased. The variety of poses for hands, ability to adjust light source, and make your own poses, is fantastic for references or just for simple study sketches. Highly recommend!

Indispensable. A must-have for all artists.. I got this app way back when it was just funky hand poses, and I’ve enjoyed all the updates with various heads and the amazing new anatomy models. The lighting and positioning are as versatile as they are easy to use, and i cannot recommend this app highly enough for artists looking for specific quick reference in a pinch. Get it. Now.

Can’t move fingers. Not bad. Easy to use. Lighting very harsh even after toning it down, but that may be personal preference. Would rather pay for the whole thing or buy a feature bundle instead of in app purchases. Make the fingers movable and I’ll bump it up a star. Edit: You can move the fingers. Just didn’t find the interface at first. Star bumped as promised.

Great References. It was worth paying for the app. The customizable head poses helped me see the perspective I needed to use for references. Since I am majorly a digital freehand illustrator, the lighting options are also fantastic for me to use. I recommend it for anyone who needs a reference, whether it be for heads, hands, and feet.

Great, but is missing something.... I feel like it needs more poses (hands holding things, feet wearing shoes, animals and whole body poses), other than that, this app is very helpful!

This app is awesome, would totally recommend!. This app helps me figure out the direction of lighting, and how facial structures work. I’ve also had trouble with hands for the longest time and this app has definitely changed that! I literally know how to draw hands now, which is nice. So, if you’re looking for an app for hand references, face references and lighting references, this one is the one for you. I would totally recommend it!

Great app for artists. This app is so handy (pardon the pun). It encourages me to practice drawing these complicated parts of the body anywhere. It is great to have on my iPhone and iPad. I find that even on my small iPhone 5 I can draw easily from this app.

Great tool, just a couple of minor tweaks needed.. Probably the best hand posing tool on the market. Good selection of head busts and animal skulls as well. Would like to see a few additional skin colour options, and maybe both old and young hand models. The Foot model DLC is probably the only model that doesn’t look quite right, something about the rendering makes it look a lot more artificial compared to the Hand model. So, maybe a new rendering of the Foot is something to consider. Overall really great reference tool!

Great! But:. Great app - best if its kind and worth the couple of dollars. Full body poses would be great. Bottom slider when editing poses is near impossible to use on iPhone X without your phone trying to change apps.

Excellent reference tool. I use this to help with proportions for my drawing and it is excellent! Especially the FOV slider and lighting rigs. There's a custom hand rig which is wonderful, I only wish there was a custom face rig too. Being able to open the jaw and see teeth inside would really make this a one-stop reference app.

The best. This might be the best 3 bucks I ever spent. So easy to use, does what it says, high quality graphics. An artists dream. Thankyou.

Must have assistant. The usefulness of this CANNOT be understated, regular use will help hand drawing in a big big way, keep it as a regular part of your art kit!

Amazing! But I have an idea I would love to see in the future. I love this app overall! it is easy to use, very affordable, and has helped me learn how to draw faces and hands. But I would love the facial models to have different expressions! I wouldn’t care if I had to pay for it, it would be worth it.

Handy. I love this app, I love that you can rotate to the desired position. I’d love skeleton hands though, that’d be perfect!

Fantastic tool for artists. Handy is very useful for a 2D animator like myself. This reference tool is quick and easy, and I don't need to call my friends over to pose for me nearly as much! I would like to see more facial options in the future, including mouth positions for lip sync.

Excellent. This is literally the first review I've bothered to write man, I found this extremely useful especially being able to create the light source location and brightness. The only thing I could think of that would be of any more use was if you could somehow manipulate the wrist and fingers/thumb yourself to make infinitely different gestures. In close, I wouldn't have minded paying more haha.

Valuable tool, could use some innovation. This is a worthwhile app but the controls are intuitive, but I do believe they could be fine tuned some more. It would be nice if we could rotate the necks on the head models.

the tool you always wish existed. As an artist looking custom lighting setups for portrait reference on the fly, Handy blew my mind, I use it every time I paint and draw.

Yey. So good! Love it so far! Many different poses for both hands and faces!

Things to improve on. Add hairstyles as an extension. Have interval rotation. The interval would be like 10 deg 20 deg etc. this allows more precision when trying to make reference cheat sheets of heads at various angles even when it’s tilted. That way artists can make reference sheets for themselves easily to build muscle memory. Or have option to save multiple angle views at once rather than making so many manually. This would be a huge game changer. Seeing all the angles of my subject head at a quick glance on one sheet amazing for anyone.

Great. Beats drawing your own hand in a mirror. Hands down. Must have app for every comic book artist and others who regularly draw hands.

Love it- but…. I love the app, amazing and worth the money- if it would even open and start. Unfortunately it wouldnt go past the loading screen recently, and I haven’t been able to use it :(

Very useful reference tool.. I find this tool very helpful in understanding the shape of the hands and face. Something I would love to see added would be a switch to change to a Directional and Ambient light, useful for simulating outdoor lighting scenarios with the sun with some bounce lighting. Even if it were a simple rig that you could rotate around your model with a sunrise to sunset slider and an ambient % slider that would be a great addition!! I hope you'll consider it!!

Versatile & very valuable. Thank you for this app. It fills a great need for a great many artists and the in-app purchase is a great marketing strategy, because we all have difficulty with drawing hands (at some angles certainly) and EVEN MORE difficulty with feet! My only wish is that instead of pre set poses they were poseable. Maybe in the future we could submit pose requests to the developer. Also what about two models? Male hand holding female hand? Or female and female, or male and male?

A necessity for any artist. Great for artists who want to pose and check your positions. It helps you visualize one of the most difficult parts of the body to draw. Gotta get it.

Bodies next?. this app is amazing! but im curious if there will be an update for human bodies?

Wonderful Guide!. It’s super hard to find references for each and every pose you might imagine, but this app is a wonderful guide to learning and practicing anatomy. I definitely recommend it!!

Super easy and intuitive!. By far the best beginner 3D reference software I’ve used yet! The posing is quite easy to figure out and gives you a lot of range for what you can do. The lighting features are also really useful for figuring out planes and such!

Easy to use, my favourite pose reference app. I've used other posable anatomy apps before, even some paid, and I use handy over those ones because I find it so much easier to use. The key is that Handy uses sliders to make adjustments, and there's separate sliders for each individual kind of movement. The other app I bought, relies on using your finger or pencil to move it around in 3d space but it's so hard to isolate a bend or a rotation; I never know what I'm doing and the model just clips into itself. I quit using that one out of frustration except when I need a full figure. If the makers of handy made an app for posable full body that's as easy to use as this, I'll definite get it. I love the feature to save scenes.

👌🏼. Love the app, wish there was a male planer available along with female. It would be great if in the future there were more sculpts available like torso, arms, legs... maybe even posable full bodies!! For now, I’m loving the head reference and it’s great

Great. A few small things I didn’t enjoy, like how it can be a challenge to position things sometimes, but over all this app has really imported the quality of the hands in my art.

Hrm.... Interesting app with some value for artists, but surprised to see the basic functions of hands, feet and heads not all included. Additional pay walls to get content wasn't what I was expecting

aptly named. tired of strangers giving you odd looks as you take photo booth reference pictures in public? your time has come. this app gives you posable reference images of male and female hands and feet (in various poses), heads, and a skull. you can alter the angle, amount, and colour of light, and you can save your lighting configuration and come back to it. as if I wouldn’t get it anyway, the developers have made the app very visually clear and intuitive to use, and they even have little cartoon arrows that show up behind the models. basically, this app is fantastic and you need it yesterday.

Wonderful. Great program I just wish they had a variety of skin tone options. But that’s a very minor issue lol. 9/10 !

Great artists resource!. Not only can you rotate each hand model in all directions, you have a choice of 1, 2 or even 3 light sources that can also be rotated around the model. An invaluable tool to anyone that wants to or has to render hands on paper or in sculpture! With the addition of the head model, this tool has just doubled its usefulness! Thanks to the devs for making this!

Good app. This is a pretty good app. It does the job well, and have very little clipping issues and realistic texturing. If there's one thing that bothers me, it is the inability to change the background... which is drab and hard to differentiate from the subject at certain angle and lighting. Flat colour would be nice.

Great resource. EDIT: (next day) The update dropped and lots features added: thank you! Please continue adding models; young, old, Asian, Nesian, autochthonous—all of ‘em! The app functions as advertised and very “handy”. However, I’d like to see more ethnicities in the models. Currently there’s only Caucasian models. Willing to pay for it too. Though I doubt it’ll happen because I don’t think this app is being actively developed anymore. Too bad.

Very “handy”. I haven’t explored the extent of this app and I can already tell that this is going to be very useful for me. Not only does it provide hand positions, but it also provides head positions and my personal favourite skull positions. This is especially useful when you don’t want to search for many images of hand references without getting 3-D depth. All I need to do is open up this app and I’m good,

Useful. The app is super useful being a custom design tattoo artist but I’m a little disappointed that you have to spend more money after already purchasing the app just to get more sculptures, other than that i have nothing else negative to say about it.

Awesome!. Very awesome program. While it doesn’t have a lot of models I really love using this to get quick references for hands and faces. Haven’t encountered any glitches or unpleasant surprises. It turned out to be exactly what I expected it to be + it came with a few animal skulls too that I find very handy to use

This app is an artist's dream come true. Quite possibly one of the most useful apps for drawing. Ever. I spent my entire career looking for something like this. A must have for those who don't have the time to screw around looking for reference imagery on hands and faces in different lighting. The only way they can make is app better is to permit us to move the fingers in custom positions. Or add other body parts and categories. I share this with every artist I know!

Love it. Skeleton hands and it would be perfect. I absolutely love this app the only thing is that it would be nice to have skeleton models for the hand. That would help so much. I would recommend this app to others really helpful.

Fabulous app. This is one of the best apps I’ve ever used. For anyone who wishes to improve their shading, this app is my very best recommendation. I just don’t gush about apps but this one is worth it. Easy to use and very effective.

Worth the Money. I don’t usually write reviews but I really love this app. It’s definitely worth the purchase and the customizable reference is great.

Cash grab. If you buy it; it’s apparently still not enough for these people. You don’t even get the full app after paying. The controls aren’t very intuitive; you spend about as much time adjusting and positioning something, as you would finding just the right image online.

Artist. I do a lot of figure painting and bought this to help me with hands and feet when I do not have a model available. It is useful on some levels but limited in the poses. I paid for extras and still they are limited in poses.

Great app. Does what it’s supposed to do, doesn’t crash, you can add lighting. It’s helpful and any artist drawing people should use it

Every character illustrator needs this.. The ability to move the models in space is an incredibly helpful tool. (Everyone hates drawing hands, and I have even more trouble with feet, so this is a game changer.) I’d say it’s reasonably priced too.

It’s pretty handy. Yeah, honestly it is pretty good. It does have a downsize. It gets a little complicated for other than that. It’s a great app.

At first.... I thought they were static posed hands, where you could only manipulate the defaulted hand positions in 3D space, without adjusting each joint and bone. Boy was I wrong. Super useful reference tool. Thanks to the devs who put this together. Cheers.

Useful. As an artist, I can already tell this is going to be a helpful app. It’s not too hard to use. Useful for hand reference, feet, and heads with light source for shadow reference. Poses are customizable.

Great Reference for the Price. This app is genuinely the best anatomy reference app I’ve purchased. Hands and feet are generally pretty rudimentary in how poseable they are, but this is highly customizable and easy to use.

You have to pay extra for added models but it’s worth it.. It’s solid, I feel like satisfied with my purchase.

Love it, just wished there was a little more.. This app has helped me more than most apps, the lighting and metal to soft material settings have did a lot of good. I wished there was full body and posing for such, but as is it is a good app.

I use this for every art project. It can be a little hard to manipulate the positions, but still a fantastic app. Very helpful.

Perfect and simple for Artists of all skill levels. This app is really good for studying anatomy and how shading works. The only thing I could fine that would make this better is adding torsos, arms and legs.

So so. Very limited app. Level of references from the internet. If you work as an artist you won’t find it very useful simply because you canNOT adjust the model. You can change only rotation and scale

Holding hands. This is my go to reference for hands. The only ask I have is for option for both hands in a pose.

Best reference ever. It has already improved my workflow so much. I now dread hands so much less!

Love the app! But something it needs... I just downloaded it and went through all of the poses; I absolutely love it! But I feel like having a range of full body postures would be an amazing touch! :)

Pretty cool. This app is extremely worth its value. It is extremely helpful for beginners and even a useful tool for pro’s. It’s not the #1 reference app, but then again, there aren’t many reference apps.

In App Purchases For Stuff You Want. Lots of unnecessary stuff. Might be okay for some but you have to pay extra for feet. PS: I just saw the fine print about additional $$ for feet. If only you made it a little smaller it would be completely invisible.

In app purchases did not carry over to my new phone. It’s a good app and very useful my only problem is that once I upgraded my phone I wasn’t able to keep the animal head anatomy I purchased and it now requires me to repurchase something I should still have when this is the exact same account I bout it with originally someone please help me

professional artist - great product. i am a figure painter who sometimes needs anatomical references and proper lighting schemes, whether it be hands, feet or heads, when photo reference just doesn't work out. i have been using handy for a few years now and find it invaluable for the type of work that i do. thanks for a great and useful tool... hopefully they will develop a whole body that can be moved into various poses.. i will certainly pay for that, too

Very nice!. I love how you can customize lighting and how well-detailed the models are! I would really like to see a feature for head tilts and turns. All in all, an excellent app!
