Very useful App. I use this app frequently in my work. The interface is intuitive and it will convert almost anything.

It's simple!. This is a great app where you can start typing in the units you want to convert and it pulls up choices, like a search engine should. No selecting from a huge list, spinning endless dials or trying to figure out what category your unit falls. Another plus: it starts with an empty value! Another app that I will soon delete starts with a 1, and I always have to delete it first. Well done!

Great conversion app. I have never found a conversion that this app can’t do. It’s well worth adding to your device.

Excellent. Several years ago, I had a more limited mathematical conversion app whose owner went MIA. And for years, nothing. This one and its siblings are much better, are updated more often, and even look nicer!

Great app. After using this app for a LONG time, and hating the ads, it occurred to me to check the price for the ad-free version. Only $2.99 to turn off things off? Done deal.

The most useful app ever. I fell in love with the free version and i’ve been using it for a year or two, so i’m here to support by buying this! i literally use it everyday, from measurements for cooking to currency exchange rates, it’s easy and super convenient to use.

Daily in USA 🇺🇸 and in México 🇲🇽. I use it for converting metric units economy you name it distance etc. its very helful and useful also it helps you under the kelvin system evaporation etc. very very helpful being using it since 2016

Refrigeration needs. As a refrigeration engineer I sometimes get conversion needs for other countries. I also need unusual conversions at times. So far this app has satisfied my every need.

Absolutely outstanding. I've bought a few and had a favorite but it stopped being updated so I deleted it because it did not support the newer iPhone's 64-but processors. This simple and well done.

Handy tool to have. Excellent tool for various conversions on the fly. Anything from Gigabytes to watts to fluids, regardless you can’t remember all the formulas involved in every conversion but this is the tool to help with that. Thanks!

Excellent unit converter. This is an excellent unit converter app. It covers a wide range, and I mean really wide. This app has a ton of conversions, more than I have seen with other coversion apps. Definitely great for students and professionals. My only suggestion is to build in iCloud syning. I use Convert Any Unit on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and I save conversions on all of them. Wish they could be in sync.

Fixed the problem. I paid for the app. I should not have to log in to the internet each time I use it They responded to my review & explained I was using the wrong version of the app & told me how to fix the problem. My error & now the problem is solved.

Awesome App for Engineering. I work in the US and China and it seems the units conversions never end. This app is intuitive and has every conversion at my fingertips when I need it. Awesome!!

So versatile!. I'm just an average guy. I use this app for currency conversion, land mass (I.e. hectares to acres) and metric to U. S. conversions for volumes, temperature and speed (KPH to MPH). It helps me with my conversations with my wife since we are from different countries. It has way more functions than I will ever use, but I was so impressed with the free version that I paid for the upgrade (and the ads weren't annoying.) I did it more as a compliment to the developers.

Simple, convenient app. I don’t use this app very often, but it is so helpful when I need it. I upgraded to Pro to support the developer.

The best App I’ve ever used for conversion.. My work in economics is constantly requiring me to convert data. I have used this app for well over ten years.

Excellent. I have used quite a few converters and this is the one that I nearly always use. It has a very plain, almost boring interface (a benefit, as it is 100% function) but easy to use. It converts multiple different units quickly. There is no messing around with setting what units you want or don't; just enter an amount and start typing your units and they pop up. I got this for free, but would gladly pay $1-2 (I'm not sure of the price).

Great utility.. I am from the US but live in a metric country so I use this app frequently. It has every unit of measure you can think of. Plus a lot more you probably never heard of.

I didn’t know how much I would use it.. From converting currency in Costa Rica to proportioning swimming pool chemicals, I find myself using this app all the time.

Best Work Tool on My Phone!. I’m using the paid version and it has been worth every penny. My go to for every possible and almost impossible conversion I run into (psi - kPa, deg. F - deg. Romer - Rankine, etc.) and has not let me down. A must have technical field tool.

Comes through. I don't use this app very often, but when I do need it, it's there for me. I must have paid for the pro version because I encounter no limitations...other than that I can't find a way to send the developer money out of gratitude for this great app. Guess I'll have to contact support about that one. 🙂👍🏻🙏🏻

JSDD. I use this to convert units for civil engineering projects, feet to inches to metric and angles, etc. It is very useful and better than Convert from Tap Tap Tap, because it has more units and Convert wasn’t updated to the new iOS. I hope they keep this one going A+++

Rating. Easy and accurate.

Convert. Since I loaded Convert on my iPad a couple of years ago I have become increasingly reliant on it to convert all of the things it will convert. Of course I am also losing the memory needed to make these conversions using brain power alone but I suppose that’s one of the downfalls of living in the digital age.

I love this app. This is the most complete unit conversion app I have ever used. I recently had a need to convert cubits (a Biblical unit of length approximately 17.5 inches). Of course, I didn’t expect the app to include cubits as a unit of length, but I new the app allowed for adding custom units. I found where that feature was in the app. I added cubits as a unit equaling 17.5 inches, and now I can convert cubits to any other length unit I might need. Thanks for thinking of everything. This is great!

Easy to use. Had the free version for quite some time (fully functional from what I can tell). Decided to dump the ads for $2.99. It's a low key, easy to use (interface), every conversion needed- solid app!!!

Works well / allows flexibility. When another conversion app I was using expired - stopped updating - went looking for options and found this. Very good - really provides a lot of ways to customize answers. Extremely versatile. Highly recommend.

Best Conversion App. Update to review below: In my original review, I mentioned that the app did not support 64 bit number base conversions. Within several days of my review, the app was updated to provide 64 bit support. Not only is the app easy to use and accurate, the developer is very responsive to user requirements. I would give this app 6 stars if possible. Previous review several days ago: This app is the absolute best for unit conversions. It is intuitive and quite easy to use. Excellent user interface. I like the new number base conversions, but my only criticism is that is doesn’t handle more that 32 bits. Even the CPUs in modern iPhones are 64 bit. Please add this capability.

Home Button???. How do you navigate back to the Home Screen after making a calculation?? For instance, if I want to convert currency and then distances?

Great conversion app!!. More possible conversions than this geek will ever need. One possible suggestion I would have is the UI might be re-designed, not sure how though, that’s for someone in UI design.

Extremely Full Featured But Still Really Easy To Use. This does every conversion you can think of, and many you’ve never heard of. But any conversations you want are super easy to select.

Comprehensive. A comprehensive feature loaded unit converter. Make sure to delete the Lite version, when you pay for this app. The Lite version doesn't convert (np) automatically. The full featured paid version is a separate resident app that gets downloaded.

Best conversion app I know of. I use it weekly for everything from weight to energy conversions. I have never not found a unit that I need and often find units that I can't imagine using. Auto populate is a great feature.

Excellent App. This is an excellent application. It is easy to use and it converts all kinds of measures and currencies. A must have in a smart phone.

A personal favorite. I got the free version to use at work when needing to convert metric measurements to English and back again. I liked it so much, I upgraded to the paid version, which I like even more. It saves units I've used as favorites automatically. If I'm just trying to impress someone by showing them how many millimeters in a light year or how many teaspoons in a bushel, favorites are easy to edit. It's useful in unexpected ways, like converting units used on TV so I get what they are saying. Edit: You can now round your answer to fractions, up to 1/64. There is a color palate if you want a different background. Adjustable font size in case you have vision issues. Plus a host of advanced options. For instance, if you are not American or just preferred British spellings, you can even switch to that. It's almost a shame I already rated this 5 stars, as I cannot give it a "raise."

Solid. Lots of converters app out there and I've tried many if them, this one had be one my go to conversion app. Updated star rating, should have been 4 stars all along, not 1 star.

Excellent conversation app. Excellent conversion app. I am a Physicist and this app has most units we use and more importantly actually has the conversions correct. The ability to adjust the font size is GREAT and makes this app very usable and easy to read. I have used most other conversion apps but have found this one to be by far the best. The one thing this app would benefit from is the addition of more units, especially the rare or outdated ones as they come up from time to time in my work.

Needs iCloud syncing across devices for saved bookmarks and settings. Good unit conversion tool. It has every unit you can imagine, and you can create your own unit conversions. You can also bookmark units and organize them into folders if your wish. As great as this app is, its missing the ability to sync with iCloud which is super important, especially if you’re using the same app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Great App. I work in an industry that requires me to do a lot of conversions. I've tried several apps to help me with this but this is by far the best. Even the free version is nice & the ads are not very invasive. I did pay to get rid of the ads though just to speed it up a bit & also wanted to help support the creators of the app. Totally worth it! Stop searching for another conversion app because this is the only one you'll ever need. It can can convert anything & everything.

I’d be lost without this tool. I own a homebrew store that sells wine and beer supplies. I have people who bring in old and foreign recipes to make. Without this converter I might as well close. It not only gives an answer, but it shows the formula to derive the answer - which I share with customers so these people can do it themselves before they come in and take up my time. Before this app I never knew there was a conversion for some of the measurements I’ve encountered. Thanks.

Great App - best of the 5 or 6 I’ve tried.. Some don’t have the most basic of scientific units. Others pepper you with ads, the more you use the app the thicker and faster the ads come. This is intuitive, comprehensive and with the additional useful feature that you can copy and paste conversion results into your calculator. I don’t usually review with 5 stars as I’m saving the 5th star for the killer feature that’s just around the corner. However this app nails it. Five stars.

Covers everything.. This conversion app covers just about every unit you can think of. It is do complete that navigating your way to the unit you want can take a little bit of time, at least until you learn your way around. All up, a really good app.

My go to converter. Since this was suggested to me by a friend, it has remained my converter of choice. I try others now and again, but always come back to this OS one. Why? Latest update has ruined this app. I got this app a couple of years ago. It has always been really easy and straightforward to use. However, the latest update has been a change for the worse. You now have to exit the last unit you used, for instance length, in order to swap to another unit, for instance currency. This makes it cumbersome and slows the process. There is also an option to get "information" on the unit, which is totally unnecessary. If I want to learn about kg I will google it. Very easy to hit that button on an iPhone, thus further slowing the process.

Fast, efficient, easy, very useful. Very easy to use and quick. Dynamic searching for unit names by full name or abbreviation. After you select the first unit, the app only lists compatible units. Option for a favourites list. Also has multi-unit equivalences e.g. pounds & ounces (for old-fashioned baby weights) or stones & pounds.

Convenient conversion. Numerous apps do all or most of the things this one does, but I don’t know of another that does it more handsomely. The clean uncluttered layout is what most distinguishes it from the others and makes it easy and intuitive to use.

Great App. I use this several times a week as Canada is only "half pregnant". It is supposed to be metric but is only part. Why can you buy a 6 mm bolt that is 2" long? I keep converting from imperial to metric as that is the much better system.

Really useful convenient app. I’ve been using this app for years it’s great to have on your phone, use it all the time! A suggestion: It would be nice if there was a was a section below the answer that shows the calculation for every conversion made. (Example: (°F)=(°C)*9/5+32) when you input the Celsius in the from column it would automatically show the formula for how it was done right below the answer.

LOVE this App!. I've used Converter several times a week for almost a year. Here are my impressions: ➕ POSITIVES 1) It is amazingly fast! By the time I've entered both units, I instantly have the answer - WOW! 2-A) Occasionally, I have NOT known what unit of measure to use. I entered various options with different results . . . not good. But Converter came to my rescue, Yea! 2-B) I discovered an Index of 'All-Units-of-Measurement'. This helped so much. ➖ NEGATIVE 3-A)Task of converting 'Liquid' units to 'Solid/Mass' units for cooking. Issue was specifically 1-Tablespoon and 8-ounces (Liquid-to-Tablespoon/Cup) 3-B) I found the specific units for 'liquids' and 'mass' on the Index list so I was hopeful that I would get accurate results. Yet, after entering these parameters, I got results of 1 : 1 . The problem with this is that 'Culinary Wisdom' is that there is NOT a 1 : 1 ratio between Liquid measurements and Solid measurements. Now, Converter is NOT required to be familiar with cooking, but they certainly should have a degree of accuracy in converting numbers. SUMMARY: This is a single issue and a common one made by most websites. Therefore, I consider it a minor flaw. On the balance the positive points are so outstanding and strong, I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to convert numbers. It is always reliable.

Very handy and highly versatile.. I don't like to give 5-star reviews without due justification. So, I tried to think of anything worth knocking a star off and simply could not. It's great at doing just as advertised. I frequently use it, find the unit suggestions really handy, the interface is intuitive and has some customizable features, and it has never had any glitches on any iOS update or any iPhone. I bought this version after getting tired of ads popping up half way through entering something to convert on the free version (that timing is a little underhanded, I think, but I understand that everybody has to make $ somehow). Definitely glad I paid for the "full" version! I haven't noticed a functional difference aside from absence of ads (which is VERY nice), but I've never come close to using more than a fraction of the vast plethora of units available on free or paid versions. Definitely recommended! iPhone 6; iOS 9.3.1.

Outstanding unit converter. This is the best unit converter I've found. It has just about every sub-unit for each major unit (e.g. millimeters, centimeters, etc.) and shows each conversion in a sentence-like format so there's no mistaking how the conversion takes place. That's really good when you're converting units that you may not be real familiar with. It also allows you to add your own unit conversions, including ones with formulas for the conversion (e.g. convert frequency in megahertz to wavelength in meters). It contains a huge variety of conversions and saves each one you use to a favorites list so you can quickly find it when you need it again. It's great!

So close and yet so far.... The ability to add new units of measure attracted me to this app. Alas, though there are two ways to do this -- by defining the new unit as a factor times existing measures (feet, for instance) or by using formulas, only the first is really intuitive, but both introduce conversion errors because a "foot" is not a foot but is required in the package to be a fraction of a meter, which is calculated out to only so many decimal places. I suppose that to set up a system of measurement conversions there has to be a starting point, a benchmark of some kind, so I'm not sure there is any way around this problem except to recalculate using your calculator (if you can remember the conversion factors to the degree of accuracy you require). Hmmm, currency conversions don't require a benchmark, I assume because the current rates are all downloaded and not pre-calculated. Perhaps the designer should carry out the benchmark conversions several more decimal places to eliminate conversion errors except at very high numbers of units. Will your cell phone handle such calculations? Nice try, but so far I don't see any conversion app as rating more than 2 stars because of the inescapable design weaknesses.

Amazing tool. This app is legit. I buy very few apps, but this developer deserves the couple bucks. I use this a lot.

Simplicity. My search for a good units conversion app has finally ended. This app requires you to type the units you're looking for, but it offers a live-updating drop down list as you type and ends up being MUCH easier and faster than scrolling though many units you don't care about. Plus, if you really want/need to scroll through a full list of units, you can. Try the free version until you're convinced, then support the developer by buying this one.

Gah!. Unless you wear a pocket protector, this app is not for you. Suppose you’d like to find out how many ounces are in a 750 ml bottle of wine. First, choose the scientific category for liquid volume. (Go ahead, try to find it.). Second, give up and open a web browser. I’d give it zero stars if possible.

Convert. This is the most efficient unit converter I've ever encountered. No need to categorize length, mass, temperature because the app is extremely intuitive taking the first unit input as a guide for the remaining conversion is narrowed down and accomplished with very little effort to arrive at an answer. One of the most used apps as I deal with many events, and people using the logical metric system which is always in conflict with unit systems of less advanced nations.

Best unit converter I've tried. In addition to he below: The update is excellent!! Even better than before! After trying this app for 5 minutes, I was so impressed & pleased that I deleted the other app I had been using since early 2010. I've tried a lot of converter apps, and this is hands down the best I've tried so far. Not having to deal with spin selectors or buttons or thingamajigs makes it so much efficient and just plain fun to use :) Only improvement I can think of is it would be nice to able to have a choice of colors/skins... but that's trivial. Even without that, it deserves 5+ stars as it is! BTW: Full disclosure- I only tried converting a half-dozen or so things and I did not verify the results against anything else... so I can't vouch for the accuracy of all the conversions.

BUY IT…!. This app has not failed to amaze me yet, and I've owned it for almost 7 months now! Even if you don't have a lot of 'utility' apps on your device, this is a definite must. It has so many uses and the "dictionary" of conversion units you just won't believe! I just converted miles per hour (mph) to feet per second (fps) a few minutes ago! ...Really?! Also, this app is a definite must for difficult [school] classes or homework. 'Nuff said. 😎

Revolutionary Indeed. Nobody else is doing unit conversion this way. The keyboard search in this app is simply the best way to find your units. All other apps make you wade through a river of arcane units and categories before getting to what you want. It can take up to a minute to convert using those other apps. "Wow, THAT'S how long a furlong is?" (who cares?!) This app is simply fast and to the point. ** update: just saw the new Auto Fill: 'To' Unit option. This really cements this as the premier iPhone conversion app.

Quick, Easy to access, Easy to use. I particularly like that I can begin typing the first few letters of the desired conversion agent & a list of suggestions appears with the most likely one populating. I upgraded to the Ad-Free version because the ads were extremely annoying, popping up just as you are about to select your choice. If you want a free conversion tool, there are other apps that are less obnoxious. But I like the ease of use of this one.
